Plain Killer

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces El Dorado 15-year-old rum
  • 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 ounce Coco Lopez coconut cream
  • Garnish: nutmeg, freshly grated

Steps

  1. Add the rum, pineapple juice, orange juice and coconut cream into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
  2. Pour the contents, including the ice, into a Tiki mug, and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

There is a massive energy shift going on.

It feels like we have reached a tipping point in the normie-waking campaign. S

o many people are now outspoken about the lies and deceit, that it’s given others the courage to do the same.

This effect has compounded across the globe. Now it’s considered socially acceptable to be a “truther”. It’s the counter-culture now.

It’s cool to be anti-establishment. Now that a large enough portion of people have begun to reject establishment narratives, many of the sleepers will join with us, simply because of their natural human desire to fit in.

In other words, we have been dominating the culture war, and now it’s starting to bear fruit.

I really wish people who post online would learn proper punctuation. A period NEVER is supposed to be outside quotation marks. Ask my mother the grammar nazi.

I agree. We need to get organized.

It’s time she retires, at the very least.

I know people with this issue.

Haven’t had a microwave in seven years. Some days it is missed…especially when the double boiler doesn’t get cleaned out right away.

DEAR MAGA: TGIF Open Thread 20230721

Strawberry Gin Smash

INGREDIENTS

FOR A PITCHER:

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 limes, juiced (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups gin
  • 3 cups club soda
  • Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

FOR A SINGLE DRINK:

  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 3 fresh strawberries, 2 hulled and sliced and 1 reserved for garnish
  • 3 ounces gin
  • Club soda
  • Fresh mint sprig, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

FOR A PITCHER:

  1. Muddle the sugar and limes in a pitcher that holds at least 8 cups (64 ounces). Set aside 6 to 8 small strawberries and make a small slice in their tips. Hull and slice the remaining strawberries and muddle the slices lightly with the sugar and lime juice.
  2. Stir in the gin and club soda and pack the pitcher full of ice. Add mint sprigs to garnish. Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish with a strawberry, slotted onto the edge of the glass.

FOR A SINGLE DRINK:

  1. In a tall glass, combine the sugar and a squeeze of juice from the lime wedge. Muddle with the back of a spoon to dissolve the sugar. Add the sliced strawberries and lightly muddle.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and add the gin. Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with the last strawberry and a sprig of mint.

14For the love of Christ controls us, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. 15And he died for all, that those who live might live no longer for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. 16From now on, therefore, we regard no one from a human point of view; even though we once regarded Christ from a human point of view, we regard him thus no longer. 17Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come. 18All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.
