Dear MAGA: Open Topic 20190108

This special TRAINS AND TUNNELS TUESDAY open thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA world.

Say what you want, comment on what other people said, comment on people’s comments.  Keep it civil.  Treehouse rules, but expect lots of QAnon.

Remember – your greatest gift to President Trump is FIVE WORDS:

I AM PRAYING FOR YOU

See the January 1st daily thread for the rules of the road, which are few but important.

Today’s daily thread is dedicated to the utter weirdness of current events and the Q universe, wherein some people are thinking that “Wake Up” Maggie Haberman of yesterday’s tweet and “OH on the Q train” fame is being referred to in a poem by Edward Snowden’s girlfriend.

this brilliant bird
traveling through time’s tunnel
radiates her own light
to combat the grey
saturated
full from the previous twelve
and excited for the next
her heart’s song spills into the new year
suggesting she continue to
be the light
that illuminates the path
of 2019

Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.
For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.
James 1:9-11 (NKJV)

Good to see you have your priorities in order! I wasn’t hanging around waiting as much as I was catching up on the day’s posts and twitworld funnies.

Emeraldstar

Your photos and verses are amazing, ttt.
I always look forward to them!

Gudthots

Thank you. I always enjoy reading your comments.

ttt,
beautiful post … thanks so much

Tucker’s monologue from last week really hits on some sore points. Not everyone here will agree with all of his points, but the theme is worthy.

singularZoe

It really is, Wolfie. Love Tucker.

NYGuy54

That was brilliant. It speaks to the heart of why I keep saying a great economy alone is not good enough. Everyone should watch that. Thank you.

singularZoe

True, NYGuy.

A Fortiori (@AFortiori16)

Outstanding. We need to reign in the excesses of capitalism in order to preserve our country. Decades ago, we used to argue about “patient capital” and the scourge of guys like Romney tearing apart businesses that were set up for long term profitability in order to make a quick buck. We no longer do this.
And as the recent crashes of our naval vessels and aircraft have shown, it is foolhardy to dismantle U.S. defense manufacturing capability in favor of outsourcing. We must be able to manufacture our own weapons, even if that means tolerating dirty microchip fabrication facilities and grungy welders and deplorable pipe fitters in our midst. And yes, this means we must have a national industrial policy.
And Tucker hits on an even more profound issue we rarely think about: It is immoral to loan people money that they have no chance of repaying. Recall that the worldwide economic crash of 2008 was caused by giving mortgages to people who could not afford the loans. And paycheck loans make poor people much poorer. Hell, China has learned what a sweet game this can be for the lender. Look at the Silk Road initiative; lending money to African governments for ports and railroads, and when they cannot repay the loans, the property is simply seized. Yet another variation on this form of exploitation.

Linda

Totally agree. And personally, I love grungy welders and deplorable pipe fitters. 🙂

Plain Jane

Me too Linda. Through all the years with engineers, I saw that they were happiest when, because of certain situations, they came home grungy with dirt under their fingernails. 🙂 Seriously.

singularZoe

The satisfaction of fixing or solving a problem.

Plain Jane

Exactly.

Plain Jane

TTT, thank you for posting this. Now I wish I could tie upa few “Libertarians” I know, and make them watch it over and over.

I find Adam Schitt such a loathsome creature. If I found him stuck to the bottom of my shoe, I couldn’t scrape him off fast enough. In fact, I might have to throw the shoes away and buy a new pair.
I guess I didn’t realize that he is stark raving mad or else drool on his collar stupid, or some unique hybrid. But then I read this article.
“….“If Harry Truman couldn’t nationalize the steel industry during wartime, this president doesn’t have the power to declare an emergency and build a multibillion-dollar wall on the border,” Schiff said on Tapper’s “State of the Union” Sunday. “So that’s a nonstarter.”
Truman invoked executive order and declared a national emergency during the Korean War to take control of the steel industry in 1952, but the U.S. Supreme Court struck it down….”
Apples and oranges, Schitt. I don’t see a strong argument for it being the same thing AT ALL.
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/cortneyobrien/2019/01/07/adam-schiff-cites-history-to-explain-why-trump-cant-declare-national-emergency-for-the-wall-n2538594

Sheriff Clarke weighs in with an interesting article about criminal illegal aliens.
FTA:
“…A recent Pew Research study on crimes committed by illegal aliens indicates it’s time to take this seriously. The study shows that the bulk of those arrested in 2016 and 2017 had prior criminal convictions. It indicates that in 2017 illegal immigrants with past criminal convictions accounted for 74% of all arrests made by ICE which is a 30% increase from the year before. The study points out that those with no previous conviction increased by 146% compared to a 12% increase of those with a past criminal conviction. They have demonstrated a propensity to victimize. This conviction rate includes nearly 60,000 arrested for drunk driving and approximately 58,000 arrested for dangerous drug dealing (opioids). The other classification of convictions are as follows:
Assaults: 48,454
Larceny: 20,356
General Crimes: 17,325
Obstructing Police: 14,616
Burglary: 12,836
These numbers are not insignificant. Nobody takes the time to point out to the criminal alien apologists that the cost associated with these crimes include police and court costs, incarceration costs, property loss and damage, medical costs, psychological trauma, lost work time and increased insurance rates adding up to billions of dollars. Therefore, the policy on when to deport and for what reasons also needs to reflect these costs to the American people. The time to deport is before they go on to serious offenses, not after…”
Entire article here:

Gil

Please understand. The conviction is not usually the main or actual crime, guaranteed pleas in majority of cases from more severe arrests, in addition to chsrges dropped or thrown out to get a psrticular conviction.
These numbers, in ALL categories but psrticularly theft, vehicular assault, accidents, etc must be adjusted quite a bit higher.

Ugh, that’s awful.

“A scholar whose carefully crafted fiction helped expose the rot within some sectors of the modern academy is now under fire from his home, Portland State University, although prominent academics throughout the West have risen to his defense.
Peter Boghossian, an assistant professor of philosophy at Portland State University in Oregon, led a trio of scholars last year who submitted to leading publications what they called “intentionally broken” papers on gender, race and sexuality. Several of the absurd pieces were published.
Now, Portland State has initiated disciplinary action against Mr. Boghossian for what it calls a breach of the institution’s ethical guidelines.
Among the renowned international scholars urging Portland State to forgo such action is University of Oxford professor emeritus Richard Dawkins, who compared PSU administrators to the duplicitous pigs in George Orwell’s “Animal Farm…”

Jay Sekulow writes about a doctor in OH who ranted about giving Jewish patients the wrong medications to kill or harm them.
“Anti-Semitism should not be tolerated in any setting – least of all in an environment where medical personnel take a pledge to provide care and comfort to patients. But that’s exactly what’s at the center of a controversial case unfolding in Ohio.
Physician Lara Kollab, a first-year resident at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, took part in social media rants that included anti-Semitic hate speech and dangerous threats. In her tweets, Kollab referred to Jewish people as dogs, downplayed the Holocaust, and said she was “brutally unsympathetic” about it. She said “Allah will kill the Jews” and threatened to “purposely give all the (derogatory term for Jews) the wrong meds.”…”

Note that she mentions Allah. COULD there be a connection??? ///sarc

TheseTruths

She wrote an apology that seems appropriate and might be sincere, but I am VERY leery of anyone who ever entertained such thoughts and hatred. What she described was deceitfully harming and possibly killing others while in a position of trust. People can change, but who knows how she might change in the future, as well? She might become more radical, not less.

GA/FL

My question is – how many Islamist doctors have already perpetrated a similar deed against a Jew, woman, homosexual or Christian – by error, inaction, causing adverse reaction, by omission, or comission?

Sylvia Avery

It is one of those thoughts that I’d never had before. You place such trust in medical professionals. It wouldn’t occur to me to think, Oh they’re Muslim…they could try to kill me while pretending to help me. But I’ll think of it now. Every time I see one.

Aubergine

If there were any obvious sign that a physician was Muslim, I would not allow them to treat me.
Sad, but it has come to that. Give me a nice Christian female doctor please.

Sylvia Avery

The pharmacy that I used to go to suddenly hired a Muslim pharmacist with a head scarf. I was put off by the head scarf and distrustful. After a couple of months I transferred my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. And that was just because I didn’t like looking at her headscarf.
Now, after reading about that doctor, I’m kind of horrified. It just didn’t occur to me that Ms. Headscarf Pharmacist might look at me and think, “Kill the infidel! I’ll give her sugar pills instead of her blood pressure pills!” or whatever.

NebraskaFilly

Surely, Sylvia, you have read the MB document from the ’90’s laying out how they plan to subvert the US from within? It is all there – this is just one aspect of it.

Plain Jane

I had that thought. Many times. Not sorry for my skepticism of them either.

I’m all for ACB. But a nasty little part of me says I hope he just picks the next candidate up and let the chips fall where they may. I realize that would inflame the left even more if PDJT DIDN’T pick a woman, but honestly…why should he have to?
Having said all of that, I do like what I hear of ACB. I just hate being told I have to do something.

TheseTruths

As NebraskaFilly says, “She’s a woman.” The Left will be castigating one of their supposed protected classes…you know, the woman must be believed, LOL. From the aspect of further exposing the Left, nominating a conservative woman would be a good thing. I don’t know if ACB has any dirt in her past. If not, she will be the “Roe v. Wade killer,” and, by extension, a murderer of women. (No one thinks about the babies, just the wimmin.)

GA/FL

If they were THAT nasty to Kavanaugh, how nasty will they be to ACB? OMDL.
If ACB is nominated, I hope she is rock solid, has a nerves and spine of steel, and the ability to be stealthy and cunning as a snake if she has to be.

Sylvia Avery

And we are going to have to pray unceasingly for her or whoever the candidate is. You know it is going to be a grim, hot mess of a confirmation.

NebraskaFilly

But, but, but…..SHE’S A WOMAN! Oh, my, the hand-wringing in the dims court!

“Deregulation: A year ago, “net neutrality” zealots warned that its repeal would spell doom for a “free and open” internet. They could not have been more wrong.
Net neutrality mania was so intense that one year ago FCC Chairman Ajit Pai had to cancel his appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show because of death threats he’d received. That was the same day the FCC published its final rule repealing “net neutrality…”
https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/net-neutrality-ajit-pai-internet/

Cuppa Covfefe

Speaking of neutrality, and lack thereof, as well as voilence, I posted this on the fake news thread, but it bears repeating because the media here are trying to dust it under the rug:
Just had some more of that blind hate here in Germany: an AfD politician was SEVERELY beaten in the city/state of Bremen by a bunch of Antifa thugs. Pure Satanic hate.
Their hate, and their leadership, comes from the Devil, in the persons of George Soros, the Rothschilds (of the synagogue of Satan, cf. Revelation 2:9ff and 3:9ff), and the illuminist cabal HELL-bent on taking over the world). The media here, of course, led by AgigProp (former SED and DDR veteran) Merde-kel, are saying little, if anything, and doing their best to not characterize it as a hate crime.
The wall indeed fell in the wrong direction: the West has become the East, instead of the other way around. I wait (and pray) for the appearance of the yellow jackets, and the election of AfD conservative Christians in the state elections this year (ironically former DDR, who reject the ways of Marxist Merde-kel)…

Emeraldstar

I think the tide has turned, Cuppa.
America is leading the way. VSGPDJT had been accumulating such a store of ammunition against the cabal, that when he decides to pull the trigger, it will resound all over the world.
Germany is deep in the weeds, so it may be one of the last to get out of such globalist trouble. I remember Q saying that the EU will be last (well, next to last).
The yellow vests are the right way to go. Q asked “What do they fear MOST?” The answer, I believe, is the masses – the people. As in, the people WAKING UP. So again, the European people are waking up, and taking action, and rejecting the oppression of their false leaders.
Italy’s Salvini is awesome! I read that his policy has reduced the influx of invaders by 80% … in a very short time! Hungary had stood steadfast, and Poland, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic seem to know what’s up. And others are slowly realizing that they should follow suit (Austria for one).
We only have a few international posters here, so your reports are extra important! Thanks for taking the time!
Lastly, your puns rival SteveInCO’s. I could hardly contain myself after reading your “Rhodes Collar” quip!

Cuppa Covfefe

Yep, I already posted about the beating in a couple of other threads. The poor AfD fellow was viciously beaten, and has an open wound on his skull. Pics are too horrific to look at.
The Merde-kel administration and their masters, the deep state, are doing all they can to minimize and discredit the AfD. This latest stunt appears to have backfired, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more Yellow-Vest demonstrations this weekend HERE in Germany.
It’s afternoon here now, and the politicians have obtained their scripts from Satan Soros Central, and are pretending to be concerned.
Concerned, of course, that the same might happen to them.
Far be it from them to admit that the left, Antifa, Die Linke (the left, in German), the Greens, and all the other extremists are LEFTIST/Marxists thugs, not “Rechtsextremisten” (right-wing extremists). Thanks to Merde-kel’s AgitProp background, they’re painting everything bad as coming from the right.
Someone said “anymore, anyone to the right of Stalin is considered a right-wing extremist”…

Gil

Germany’s tommy robinson?

Cuppa Covfefe

And, true to form, the other parties are saying the AfD is using this even to advance their “populist views”, by making themselves victims…
You just can’t make this stuff up.
Oh, wait.
Merde-kel and her mentor Göbbels did…

Emeraldstar

Thanks for posting that, Sylvia.
It’s just like the false fear-mongering about the “dire” financial consequences of Brexit, and about the “dire” financial consequences of the election of PDJT, and about the “dire” global consequences of “global warming” / [morph] “climate change”.
(In fact, it seems we’ll have global COOLING, owing to the sun’s incipient “minimum” phase.)
I sure hope tonight’s address by VSGPDJT will be epic. The pace of real news seems to be accelerating, here in January. Hard to keep up!

Sylvia Avery

I’m glad you liked it. Net neutrality was such a big freaking deal even though no one was ever really able to explain it to me, somehow, and then once it passed and they stopped threatening Mr. Pai you never heard about it again.
I forgot all about net neutrality until I saw this headline and wondered, “hey, how did that all turn out, anyway? It couldn’t have been too bad–I still have internet access and nothing has happened that I can tell….”
Ha! Fear mongering is just the word for it!

Sylvia Avery

You know, the last straw on net neutrality for me was when I was having lunch with a friend of mine. She told me that her daughter who was about 25 with a hubby and small daughter and who is a school teacher was sobbing in her mother’s arms over net neutrality the night before because it was going to ruin everything. My friend attempted to console her and asked what it was going to ruin but didn’t get much of an answer. I had to tightly control my facial muscles so as not to give away what I was thinking.
Now mind you, this is a grown azz woman in her mid 20s, professional woman, wife, mother, and THIS was concerning her??? For realz?? What is WRONG with people? I felt like telling my friend to tell her daughter to stop reading HuffPo and Slate and her world would brighten considerably.
Instead, I did what I usually do. Sipped slowly at my iced tea and nodded sympathetically and then changed the subject as quickly as possible. Yechhhhh.

Emeraldstar

“Instead, I did what I usually do. Sipped slowly at my iced tea and nodded sympathetically”
The policy of wise mothers and grandmothers everywhere …

Emeraldstar

“Fear mongering is just the word”
I find it the most evocative, and penetrating, descriptive for what is actually going on. It paints the picture well.
Fear-mongering
Hate-mongering
War-mongering
Notice the pattern in the first words? Faces of evil.
“-monger”
“a person who encourages a particular activity, especially one that causes trouble”
“monger”
“seller” “dealer” “trader”

Chicken Little

Gudthots

Net neutrality killed the roll out of fiber optic out to the “last mile.” A loss from multiple angles. Fiber provides higher speeds, greater information security, and reduces wireless electrosmog (reducing burden on health). Fiber also would have given the cable companies some healthy competition, helping reduce costs for small business and families.
Providers were not going to spend the capitol to lay out fiber if they couldn’t be sure of profitability. Socialist politicians making policies that remove business incentives.

I believe that they take a perverse “pleasure” in arranging things so that we pay for our own destruction. It makes them feel “smart”, and/or “superior” … even though it demonstrates the exact opposite!
Very similar to the way they broadcast what they intend to do, so as to (falsely) avoid taking blame for their actions.
As in, “We TOLD you we were gonna do it – so if you didn’t do anything about it, well, that’s on YOU!”
Deranged minds.

Would be good if we could do the same thing (figuratively) to all the Marxists and DEMONcRATs who keep going after and dipping into our wallets…

Proverbs 7 NIV
7 My son, keep my words
and store up my commands within you.
2
Keep my commands and you will live;
guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.
3
Bind them on your fingers;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4
Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”
and to insight, “You are my relative.”
5
They will keep you from the adulterous woman,
from the wayward woman with her seductive words.
6
At the window of my house
I looked down through the lattice.
7
I saw among the simple,
I noticed among the young men,
a youth who had no sense.
8
He was going down the street near her corner,
walking along in the direction of her house
9
at twilight, as the day was fading,
as the dark of night set in.
10
Then out came a woman to meet him,
dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent.
11
(She is unruly and defiant,
her feet never stay at home;
12
now in the street, now in the squares,
at every corner she lurks.)
13
She took hold of him and kissed him
and with a brazen face she said:
14
“Today I fulfilled my vows,
and I have food from my fellowship offering at home.
15
So I came out to meet you;
I looked for you and have found you!
16
I have covered my bed
with colored linens from Egypt.
17
I have perfumed my bed
with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon.
18
Come, let’s drink deeply of love till morning;
let’s enjoy ourselves with love!
19
My husband is not at home;
he has gone on a long journey.
20
He took his purse filled with money
and will not be home till full moon.”
21
With persuasive words she led him astray;
she seduced him with her smooth talk.
22
All at once he followed her
like an ox going to the slaughter,
like a deer[a] stepping into a noose[b]
23
till an arrow pierces his liver,
like a bird darting into a snare,
little knowing it will cost him his life.
24
Now then, my sons, listen to me;
pay attention to what I say.
25
Do not let your heart turn to her ways
or stray into her paths.
26
Many are the victims she has brought down;
her slain are a mighty throng.
27
Her house is a highway to the grave,
leading down to the chambers of death.

Kind of ironic, a whorehouse hiding amongst the Virgins… Anxiously awaiting the brimstone to fall to go with the fire… Wonder if those islands are volcanic in origin…
One might say that Epstein’s got a new flame… courtest of the Klintoon Klan?

Marica

Cuppa! “Whorehouse hing among the Virgins”! Can I steal this? LOL!!!! Last year we went to the BVI for hurricane relief and the captain of our boat pointed out Epstein’s Island on our way back to St. John’s…He said he was approached by that group to captain the pedos over and he refused…Thank goodness…

Cuppa Covfefe

Sure 🙂
Maybe Epstein got confused and thought he was in Hawaii, sacrificing Virgins to Pele.
Or maybe selling them to Pele (who’s probably pretty old by now)…(the ex-football star).
It would be interesting to have a “Sea Hunt” or “Hardy Boys” type of expedition to see what’s hidden under that so-called Temple. Then again, the Navy Seals would be a better choice…

wheatietoo

We may never know who did this…but I’m thinking it was some good guys who were delivering some justice.

Emeraldstar

“good guys who were delivering some justice”
I think so too.
I suspect that whatever evidence that could have been collected there, was collected.
And although we see the above-ground fires, there was an underground complex below (with that “temple” thingy being the main entrance) which was likely destroyed as well. In fact, it may have been the whole point.

Cuppa Covfefe

Rods from God, perhaps?

Emeraldstar

Could be.
So far, there seem to be a few distinct advanced tech weapons.
The Rods, so far as I can tell, are physical projectiles (tungsten, I think, and say 50 feet long and six inches wide), and launched from on high (space?) with such speed that they can burrow into something like a mile down into the earth (after impact at the ground), and only then explode.
Directed Energy Weapons (DEWs) are like focusable lasers, but using microwave frequencies (“masers”). They can be fired from equipped airplanes, or even space, and turn almost anything they target into dust – metal, concrete, etc. Strangely, it seems that plastics are immune. Planes, ships, and missiles are not.
Then there are EMPs, Electro-Magnetic Pulses. I’m unsure how similar they are to the DEWs – and in fact, they may qualify as DEWs – but I’ve heard that they can be focused not just in a beam, but at a specific point along the beam. So, they could bypass some of whatever’s in their direct path, and only cause damage at that point.
Then there’s the HAARP array, which was supposed to be for comms to deep-water submarines, and it alters the atmosphere ABOVE so that the signal bounces back from high in the air to deep in the water.
The ELF (Extremely Low Frequency) “technologies” seem to be related somewhat to the HAARP arrays (which can also affect weather, creating so much heat that they can cause hurricanes to rapidly intensify). I wonder whether that world-wide “wave” on Nov 11, 2011 was a demonstration of ELF tech.
I could be significantly off on some of these details / definitions, but the main idea is that weapons-tech is so far advanced from what we’ve been told that it truly seems “alien”. Earthquakes, hurricanes, and other earth-natural events can be caused, and controlled well enough for purpose.
The power is awesome, and more dangerous than most anything we’d imagined.
America NEEDS to control space, to protect against this stuff. Hence, the SPACE FORCE!!!

Cuppa Covfefe

ELF has been in use for years by various Navies, as a means of communication at sea. The lower frequencies have extremely long wavelengths, so are harder to intercept, but propagate over much longer distances.
Trouble is, whales, and probably other sea creatures, use ELF too.
This has been suggested as one of the causes of the many unexplained whale beachings or navigational problems in the last few decades. In any case, there are many, many “tools” out there that are still not public. Sad to say, the Klintoons (and probably the Øbozo administration) sold/gave a lot of that tech to the Chinese. Perhaps the Shrub clan did, as well; perhaps even the peripatetic peanut farmer…
And I agree, we need to control space, before the Chinese, Russians, and others (India? Japan?) do…
Paging Tom Corbett, Space Cadet! (sigh, those were the days…).

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Careful.
There’s ELF (radio waves) and there’s ELF (sound), which are very different things. As far as I know (and I could very well be wrong), the Navy uses ELF radio, and whales use ELF sound.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

tungsten, I think, and say 50 feet long and six inches wide

Such an item would be 278,000 cubic centimeters, and 19.3 grams per cubic centimeter (tungsten is heavy stuff) would weigh about 5.4 metric tons. A hefty item. One would have to add fuel and engine to do a de-orbit burn. But the really expensive item would be changing its orbit so it goes where we want it. If you don’t care too much about timing, a polar orbit will give you global coverage (eventually), it’s just a matter of waiting for the target to be along the orbital path at the right time. The more of these, in different orbits (perhaps polar orbits with different longitudes of the ascending node), the better, obviously.

Emeraldstar

Here’s another photo (hope it posts as a photo, rather than a link).
Also, on q-research, the #5900 bake is named for (partially dedicated to) the Epstein fire. I’m taking a look now …comment image

Sorry – the #5901 bake has the name, but some of #5900 has relevant info, too!

Cuppa Covfefe

There goes Bubba’s “three hour tour”…

Aubergine

That’s what I think!
I stated a couple of days ago that I prayed it was the good guys blowing up the place after having collected what they needed. Having thought about it a while, I think that’s true.
I can’t imagine that Epstein, as central to all of this as he is, is being left alone enough to arrange such an event himself. If he is, then pretty much all I believe is happening isn’t. In which case we are doomed, so I refuse to go there.
But, if our VSG is involved, and knows that the evidence is in hand, I don’t think he could allow it to stand. As I wrote the other day, I am strongly reminded of “Forrest Gump” demolishing the house where his beloved Jenny was abused.

Plain Jane

Water, water everywhere, but on the fire…

Plain Jane

One wonders how a fire of such magnitude could get started in that climate. Even with the trade winds, that fire appears to be a straight up burn. ???

Wow, didn’t know it was Little St. James. I remember asking the locals about the Island. The answer always was that it was a privately owned Island.
I’d love to know how he acquired the island, from whom, and if, when Rockefeller donated much of St. John to the gov for a park, what else Rockefeller owned. Plus, how Rockeffeller came to own so much of St. John to begin with. Huh! Interesting. That property had to cost billions OR…

BTW, everytime we were in the VI’s, I always wanted to go there and was a tad jealous of whomever owned it. Little did I know how fortunate we were that God protected us from such.

“Only 6 terrorists.” I still don’t understand the reasoning for not having a wall and not protecting our borders. I hear “This is not who we are as a country” (Pelosi) and that we have to have compassion (various churches). Those are arguments on the level of a fifth-grade debate team, when you look at the problems illegal immigration causes our country.
I know the reason they want open borders is to take down this country and to gain Dem voters. They want to destroy our culture, history, and way of life, but they can’t say that. So I’m waiting to hear a plausible argument for not building a wall. What argument is so strong that a Lefty mom or dad with school-age kids wants to let in potential murderers, drug pushers, terrorists, diseases, people to flood the welfare system, etc.?

The Dems are demanding “equal time” after the President’s address tonight.

.
That’s not how it works. This is not a ‘campaign speech’ in an election year.
But…it’s interesting that Dems are bringing up “equal time” on the air.
We should start demanding ‘equal time’ for all their Trump-hating screeds on the air!
Equal Time for conservative views!

shebythesea

Are you kidding? Equal time? They get all their time day in and day out to opine their disagreement to everything POTUS says. They can carry on all they like on MSM but some truth bombs In this address might just have them dogpaddling for cred over the border security issue. Let’s see.

wheatietoo

How did HusseinO come up with all those Millions that he sent to Iran?
That wasn’t included in the ‘Iran Deal’ that congress voted on…was it?

Sylvia Avery

I don’t think so. I remember reading about how he did it. What I remember was basically a, let’s call it a work around shall we?, where they sucked money out of one or several special little slush funds. It was not allocated as Iran Payola or anything, it was like “petty cash” for the Chief Exec or something. Shady.

Sylvia Avery

Oh yeah, daughn has it. We gave back the Iranian asset money (so stupid and wrong) and then coughed up an additional sum, the 1.8 billion from one or two of these previously unknown “petty cash for emergency” funds that existed; I think they eliminated them after BO gave the money to Iran.

wheatietoo

Oh that’s right…now I remember the storyline.
Thanks, Daughn.
We should’ve kept the money.
Or continued to hold it in trust for the Iranian People, and given it to them when they overthrow the evil mullahs.

San Fran Nan has only been recrowned Queen of the House of Commies for a few days and already it feels like forever. Next up, statehood for DC!
https://dailycaller.com/2019/01/07/pelosi-backs-dc-statehood-bill/

wheatietoo

It will never happen.
I doubt it would even pass in the House…but if it did, it wouldn’t pass in the Senate.
And Pres Trump would never sign it!

Sylvia Avery

It would take a constitutional amendment. But hey, if it’s crazy the House of Commies is up for it.

Sylvia Avery

Per the article this is often attempted when Dims are in power. The last serious attempt was in the late 70s when it was actually passed by the House and the Senate but it couldn’t get approved by enough states. Thankfully. So it died. BO looked into doing it but couldn’t find a way to use his phone and pen, so the notion languished.

The way to kill this issue is to return all of DC outside of the core area (mall, capitol, white house, adjacent monuments and office buildings) to Maryland, and, now that the only people living (legally anyway) in DC are the President and his family, repeal the 23rd amendment (which gives DC electoral votes). At that point anyone else who insists on living in the core DC area is a vagrant.

I love this gameplay VSGPT is playing…from afar I see patience and timing and I’m getting a little excited (popped some corn today while reading through so many posts at lunch) because I see big stuff ahead. I am use to the pace now, roller coaster/research. It’s full bombardment then reflection, maybe loving this ride too much (like a good novel) because I’m removed by continent (Australia)…I’ve even ignored my own countries politics due to being swept up in this historical happening. Total blackout here to any of this but the political opposition to our PM at the moment is full on global. Maybe the current PM has decided to work with PT with the 5eyes discovery collusion..I wouldn’t know.
Please correct me of I’m wrong but I thought PT declared a state of emergency due to the opioid crisis just after inauguration? I know everything was being suppressed at the time on MSM but I keep going back to that thought. Has he distracted us from that? I know he’s the theatre master and I’ve read a lot more on ‘The Art Of War’. Ten steps ahead of everybody…I find my thoughts erring to the fact that his forethought and cunning is more like a hundred steps. Q drops help with idea that this is so planned ahead that we can’t even fathom. I’m in for the ride although mostly from afar because I feel a bit strange opinionating while not being directly affected. I pray for you all and for us here WWG1WGA!

Sylvia, bought a new shovel in honour of Romney. Put it to work today, very satisfying.

Heh, shovel therapy!
I come to appreciate more almost every day how this war we are fighting here is actually a world war. We can see it in the bubbling up of populism in Brazil, in Italy, Eastern Europe, the yellow jacket protests in France. No small wonder you are watching what is happening here because who knows how the storm may shift.

shebythesea

Yes Sylvia, I see it as a world war. I have wondered for years why things don’t seem right .. middle class is suffering from depression more that ever before. Why? Work hard and don’t get anywhere while others sit around doing FAll getting paid and seeming better Off? Had enough. Many have had enough and now understand a bit better what going on with the corruption/brainwashing. Having PDT and Q point it out brings everything into light. Dark to Light.
I have a good collection of spades and shovels..they get a good work out!

Sylvia Avery

“I have wondered for years why things don’t seem right.”
I think that sums it up for most of us. We knew something was wrong and kept trying to find out what it was and why. Very difficult to see and understand. The last two years have helped a lot with that. Between PDJT and his tweets and Q shining the light, things start to come into focus, don’t they?

wheatietoo

Pres Trump declared the opioid crisis a Public Health Emergency.
That’s different than declaring a “State of Emergency” at the border.

Thanks Wheatie, was bugging me. I think the Public Health Emergency is a short step to State of Emergency when crime, disease and socialism coming over the border isn’t good for anyone’s health or security.

“I am STUNNED by the number of EO’s signed by bummer that contained the phrase “Continuation of the National Emergency with Respect to…”
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_executive_actions_by_Barack_Obama
when I clicked on the link it merely gives the # of the EO, date and the title but doesn’t really tell you what they start with…I will try to research a little more…but what DID stun me was the graph showing the increase in EO’s in Obama’s terms…it’s eye opening graphically…

Pat Frederick

scanning through the crapload of these things–there are quite a few Presidential Notices and Letters (look at the end of the list– January 2017) extending national emergencies in respect to specific countries and situations.

Pat Frederick

from the Presidential Letter to the House and Senate about the national emergency with respect to Cuba:
“It continues to be U.S. policy that a mass migration from Cuba would endanger the security of the United States by posing a disturbance or threatened disturbance of the international relations of the United States. The unauthorized entry of vessels subject to the jurisdiction of the United States into Cuban territorial waters is in violation of U.S. law and contrary to U.S. policy. Further, the unauthorized entry of U.S.-registered vessels into Cuban territorial waters continues to be detrimental to U.S. foreign policy and counter to the purpose of Executive Order 12807, which is to ensure, among other things, safe, orderly, and legal migration. The possibility of large-scale unauthorized entries of U.S.-registered vessels would disturb the international relations of the United States by facilitating a possible mass migration of Cuban nationals. For these reasons, I have determined that it is necessary to continue the national emergency declared with respect to Cuba and the emergency authority relating to the regulation of the anchorage and movement of vessels set out in Proclamation 6867 as amended by Proclamation 7757 and as further modified by Proclamation 9398.
Sincerely,
BARACK OBAMA”

GA/FL

Didn’t want all those anti-communist Cubans escaping.

Pat Frederick

I agree–but I was more interested with the beginning of the paragraph–MASS MIGRATION (from Cuba) would endanger the security—
The President could copy this word for word and insert Central American countries in there and call it good.

I hope this guy is right. Good article with entertaining info about ACO and her kooky m’f’ing gal pal fresh from the jihad.
“The Democratic Party exhibits all the symptoms of terminal lucidity. Sometimes called “the end-of-life rally,” this phenomenon involves temporary bursts of physical and mental activity in terminally ill patients immediately prior to death. It can cruelly mislead family members, who unrealistically take the apparent improvement as a sign that there is hope after all. This is how the left has responded to Democratic gains in the recent midterms. But such episodes rarely indicate any real change in the patient’s underlying condition, and the Democratic Party remains infected by fatal strains of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), utopian socialist fantasies, and identity politics…”
https://spectator.org/the-democratic-party-a-study-in-terminal-lucidity/

Tonawanda

I once witnessed “terminal lucidity.” It was one of the strangest things I have ever seen in my life.
For several days this elderly person was at death’s door, and in fact it was not possible to tell if she was dead or alive most of the time, so shallow was her breathing, and so inert her body. Her room was filled with solemn sadness.
Then I went to visit expecting to hear the worst, and there she was, sitting at a table drinking coffee and cheerily chatting away with a friend. It was quite stunning, joyful, but bizarre.
She died that night.
She was the relative of a friend. My friend and I discussed the strange circumstances and agreed that it seemed as if an opportunity was being provided to have one last “normal” communication/interaction.
Unlike the DemoKKKrat party, which DOES seem to be flailing and desperate, the communication was bright and cheerful, with not a hint of the hatred exhibited by these leftists in their death throes.

Sylvia Avery

I had a similar experience when a loved one passed away. He had complications during surgery and was in a coma until the day he died.
Shortly before death, he woke up and we had a few minutes. It was one of the most sacred, beautiful moments of my life. It wasn’t the miracle I prayed for, but it was the miracle I was given. We got to say goodbye.

Bwahahaha … somewhere along the line I remember Q asking how do you get otherwise [redacted] info into the public? 🙂

Pat Frederick

this from SD:
“Unfortunately, this information is directly in-line with information received by CTH in September of 2018. According to people with knowledge of DOJ-OIG operations, and restrictions upon the IG imposed by chain-of-command authority, Horowitz’s investigation has been limited by Mueller’s team.
According to our own independent sourcing, as a direct consequence of the Sessions recusal issues, DAG Rosenstein was in charge of approving all OIG investigative document production and DOJ/FBI scheduling for testimony. Mueller’s team gave Rosenstein a list of restrictive lines of inquiry that would be considered obstructing their own investigation and should thereby be considered ‘out-of-bounds‘ for OIG review; those instructions broadly created limits on what Horowitz could see, and who Horowitz could interview.
According to a person directly involved, an internal investigative complaint was filed to the AG; however, due to recusal issues that complaint was forwarded (by Sessions) to FBI chief-legal-counsel Dana Boente.”
according to people with knowledge…according to our own independent sourcing…according to a person directly involved…sounds like MSM news…LOL…
I get you have to protect your “sources” but gees it sounds like maybe your sources are blowing smoke up your skirt…who’s to say your sources aren’t feeding YOU disinformation?
and what distinguishes your sources from the anons?

Sylvia Avery

Pat, I know exactly what you mean. You are just right on the money! I have had those same exact thoughts. “Oh, so because it is you telling me your unnamed sources say blah blah blah I’m supposed to believe them? How do I know who they are or if they are truthful or what their agenda is?”
So, it is interesting. It is information. Is it real? Shrug. No more and no less than other stuff that’s out there.

Pat Frederick

exactly…
I remember how we would scoff at CNN (and others) for their “sources close to (fill in the blank) tell us”….whatever….but now I am wondering if I’ve ever been told the truth in my whole life about anything. Aren’t we the same as liberals? choosing to believe our newscasters’ sources, rather than their newscasters’ sources?
At one point, SD’s sources told him the Big Ugly was coming…then at some point, that source changed direction and so did SD…but no one called him out on it—like they seem to do with Q…if something was supposed to happen–like the Huber testimony in December and it doesn’t–oh that’s proof Q is a larp–but the big ugly not happening isn’t proof that SD is a larp…

Pretty soon after Q started posting in late October 2017, he (Q) used ‘the Storm’ to describe what was about to happen.
A day or two after that, SD started talking about the Big Ugly with the same kind of urgency. At the time (even now), I think that he must be reading Q, even if he is censoring Q mentions on his site.
By using ‘the Big Ugly’, he looked original to his readers who didn’t know better. Meanwhile, I was reading and getting increasingly annoyed, wondering, ‘Why can’t he just call it the Storm?’

Marica

Does anyone here see the irony of having this discussion on yet another anonymous blog? We are ALL “anonymous,” are we not? That now also applies to the so-called “news.” JMO

Pedant Todaro is wrong. BOTH spellings are correct, with a tendency for Americans to prefer the “e”conomized version (judgment), and the English and other traditinalists (one might say) preferring the e-xtended edition (judgement). Apparently those in the legal profession judg the “e” to be a character too far.
So contrary to all appEarances, they’re not paid by the letter, after all…
Todaro is one of their “bull trolls”. Seen him on BB, too…

I still purposely spell BUSS the old way, rather than BUS. It is my finger to the world of new.

Cuppa Covfefe

The double-s version is common in electronics (or at least was 🙂 ), e.g. I/O busses, 6.3v filament busses (going WAY back, there 🙂 ).
It’s interesting to read old books, especially to see how spelling, idioms, and expressions have changed.
“Today” always used to be spelled “to-day”. Gasoline was spelled gasolene. And the list goes on, and on, and on.
I have a collection of “Tom Swift” books, along with “Dave Porter” and, of course, “The Hardy Boys”, the latter of which have been revised (and, sadly, abridged and “politically corrected”) over the years. The PC police have existed for much longer than most folks would suspect.
The eral of Horatio Alger stories has sadly come to an end. I suspect that today’s youth, if they read at all, would still not know who Horatio Alger was, nor any of his books. And the mention of “rags to riches” will get a laugh, at best…Just a quick perusal of Wackypedia’s entry on “rags to riches” is testimony to that…

Plain Jane

I think buss was changed somewhere in the late 60s early 70s and that’s when I dug my feet in. 🙂

That purge of 1.5 million on voter rolls in California, including LA, is thanks to a lawsuit by Judicial Watch:

Western Journal has a Dick Morris article on it:
https://www.westernjournal.com/dick-morris-audacious-lawsuit-end-voter-fraud-california/
‘Due to an audacious lawsuit by the conservative judicial action group Judicial Watch, voter fraud in California — and then throughout America — is coming to an end.
‘Judicial Watch secured a settlement agreement with the State of California and the County of Los Angeles to purge their rolls of 1.5 million inactive voters, likely people who have died or moved …’

Sylvia Avery

“…Judicial Watch has already concluded similar agreements in Ohio and Kentucky and gotten Indiana to purge its rolls voluntarily.
But California is the worst. Los Angeles County has more voter registrations on its rolls than it has citizens old enough to register.
In fact, 11 of the state’s 58 counties have more voters than eligible citizens…”
Thank God for Judicial Watch. This is encouraging news.

It’s just the latest in a long string of Facebook scandals, according to Fox. For example, “the company skirted its own privacy rules to give more than 150 companies … special privileges to its users’ data,” and a bug exposed “up to 6.8 million users’ private photos to third-party app developers.”
This may be the year for Americans—and especially younger Americans—to “keep it to themselves,” says religion and culture expert, national radio host and author Dr. Alex McFarland. Based on these privacy-compromising revelations and trust issues, coupled with the fact that social media giants censor conservatives and Christians, McFarland says 2019 can be the year we focus inwardly on our relationship with God rather than outwardly on what we post for the world to see.

michaelh

Alex McFarland:
“This world has never seen—and perhaps may never see again—a communications phenomenon like Facebook,” said McFarland. “There is no other entity, group or business venture that has made such an impact on how we communicate in less than 15 years in existence. But Facebook, and social media in general, has disconnected us too, even while increasing communication. What began as a fun way to share what we’re doing has become a major player in business, politics, elections and the economy, among other things. Junior high and high school students are facing harsh attacks online, and millennials can use social media as a superficial connection to their friends, family and co-workers.
“God gave us a voice to use for His glory,” McFarland continued. “With a communication vehicle as large and impactful as Facebook and the rest of social media, think of the positive difference Christians could make. Many are doing just that, but are we doing our part to turn this communication opportunity into a way to bring others into relationship with Jesus? As we’ve seen with Facebook’s recent woes, we must be very careful how we use the powerful communication tools that are at our fingertips. Someone’s soul could depend on it.”

Buy eye salve to put on your eyes so you can see
The growth of political religions and the paganism of the radical left show a political/religious ideology that is chiefly not merely at odds with, but at war with Christianity, with the end of complete supremacy over and annihilation of God-fearing religion.
As I see it, our present context is more like Germany in AD 1933 than Israel in AD 33.
The major advantages of AD 33:
– Christianity was still a small mustard seed
– Paganism was the establishment religion, and a tired one at that
– The 500 believers were committed spiritual warriors on the offensive
– The Pagan world was largely unprepared for the assault and couldn’t get a handle on it
– Martyrdom would fuel the church as their death drew attention to and furthered the spread of the gospel.
Compare with AD 1933:
– A massive revival of paganism in Germany
– Paganism was re-robed as the new and exciting thing, and burst out with tremendous energy
– Christianity was marked by complacency and irrelevance. Widespread Christian apostasy and acquiescence to the pagan political religion
– The mustard seed remnant of Christians were very much on a defensive/resistance mission (see Bonhoeffer) rather than offense
– Martyrdom (for example Brandsma) was handled in such a manner as to eliminate people so as to not draw attention to the message. This was largely successful until the defeat of Germany.
There are a lot of specific similarities between the two times that are worth exploring.
This leads to a couple of questions. Given the present context:
1) How to help believers recognize the spiritual reality of the present
(“…take my advice…and buy eye salve to put on your eyes so you can see!” ~ Revelation 3:18 NET)
2) How to help believers shift from a defensive mentality/posture to offensive
(“…on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.” ~ Matthew 16:18 NET)

there is a link in the comments to that tweet for an older article describing the Obama’s White House visitor logs…and the holes in them. The article describes the inconsistencies with the records, (for example Bob Dylan was there performing for a party or something and his name doesn’t appear anywhere in the records for that date), Bill Ayers was listed as being there but NOT THAT Bill Ayers the Secret Service says.
Most of the records released are for the tour groups and not the actual WH visitors. Aides and assistants frequently are listed as the “visitee” instead of who the parties actual came to see…this from the most transparent administration in history…giggle snort…

So a very quiet subtext to the Florida governor’s race just hit home hard today. And it is really important. Just after Ron DeSantis became governor, this has to happen

I am having some thoughts about the Jim Jordan et. al. letter regarding the apparent inaction by the Huber investigation.
Facts we know: We know that Sessions appointed Huber. We know Huber was supposed to testify before Congress December 5, and did not. Why? There are only two possible reasons. 1) He can’t testify about an ongoing investigation or 2) He isn’t investigating anything.
Number 2 would seem to be ridiculous to me. We have a new acting A.G. who has publicly been a Trump loyalist. Surely he would not allow Huber to be a mere canard to distract the American people.
So, why have the potential witnesses not heard from Huber? My speculation:
Huber has access to documents, text messages, emails, recordings and other tangible evidence. He has FISA warrants on all concerned parties. People leak, and reporters are hovering around courthouses like flies on cow patties, but hard evidence is silent. Why would Huber need to interview someone if he has EVERYTHING in their text messages, emails, recordings from phone calls, etc.? Heck, the NSA probably has recordings of every conversation they ever had. Wouldn’t Huber be able to subpoena that information? People think the NSA database can’t be accessed, but if not, why do we even have it? These people may have committed treason. If there was ever a reason to access private information, well there it is.
If Huber starting interviewing witnesses, how would he keep it completely secret? If they are asked “have you been interviewed,” could he require them to lie? Maybe he could, in which case Jim Jordan may not KNOW that these people have spoken to Huber. Is that possible? Can he impose a gag order on anyone who has spoken to him? I really don’t know the answer to that.
If Huber really is doing nothing, then we would have to believe that Donald Trump is in over his head, and has no clue about what is going on in his own Justice Department. I can NOT for the life of me understand how anybody could believe that.

Marica

100% agree Aubergine!!!! ” W e would have to believe that Donald Trump is in over his head, and has no clue about what is going on in his own Justice Department. I can NOT for the life of me understand how anybody could believe that.”

it’s like they don’t know or haven’t heard a thing about how Donald Trump operated before he became POTUS. Was he just stumbling about in his life–lucking onto to one great thing after the other? The Art of the Deal was ghost written by Howie Mandel???

Pat Frederick

As I said before POTUS needs to get ahead of this and republicans need to get ahead of this fast…. via Drudge http://healthimpactnews.com/2019/20000-satellites-for-5g-to-be-launched-sending-focused-beams-of-intense-microwave-radiation-over-entire-earth/
This is certainly a place where the science is not settled.
Although like with any other micro radiation, amplitude is the key on wether you cook or not and 4G and 5G (ten times stronger) isn’t near enough to cook anything, and you can’t stack this stuff and claim it’s stronger. However it still penetrates and it will still agitate the cells in your bod, some more and some less, dependent on situ. You’ll have all these new cells trying to form, all these old cells having to contend with a constant vibrations. Some cell membranes are thick, some thin, a whole world of cells constantly vibrating that weren’t designed for that. Not to mention in babies and kids forming, many of the cells being formed go to long term processes. Will they have weakened those processes by having formed in this new environment?

NebraskaFilly

Huh – but the FCC can’t oversee and punish the media for lying? SMH
“FCC regulations have been structured in such a way that local municipalities cannot stop telecom companies from installing 5G. They are specifically prohibited from trying to delay or stop 5G implementation on the basis of health concerns. Their only recourse is to try to make the ground-based 5G system somewhat more esthetically pleasant.”

para59r

Yep, I’m in the slow down, want to know more camp. Does this mean the removal of existing cell towers and the like? That would be nice. Do the satellites target republican districts with enhanced power when the libs take charge sort of questions given liberal propensity to weaponize everything they touch. Will there be havens (sheltered areas that aren’t shined upon with this new hail of 5G that you can move too? And can you afford to live there? )
You can’t tell me they wouldn’t be able to have exclusionary zones and saturation zones because they just have so many of these things in orbit that it wouldn’t be possible. I did see the synchronized drone shows. Those things are amazing and thus it would be totally possible to turn the switch off here, on there, high freq over there. Not to mention that targeting from a satellite can get you to read a license plate on a car from space.
Anyway, mind can runaway with out answers. This definitely requires dialogue at the national level and since it effects the rest of world, I guess at the international level.

NebraskaFilly

From what I understood, current towers will be used and new additional towers erected.

para59r

I’m reading that as the current implementation of 5G. This new method may make that not necessary as it beams straight to cell phones from satellites. These are some of the questions that need to be asked. Regardless we still have the cell jiggle effect to deal with. Towers make the jiggle effect more pronounced in close proximity to the power source (cell tower). What is effect when the cell tower becomes a multiple satellites orbiting the planet? Or does it not matter close or near (everything still getting jiggly)?

NebraskaFilly

Got me – this stuff is way over my head anyway.

Cuppa Covfefe

A few other problems are that 5G, being higher frequency, has a much shorter wavelength, and is restricted to line-of-sight propagation, which means it needs repeaters. LOTS of repeaters. Say, every 40 meters or so.
So to add to urban blight (or, worse, dotting the countryside with cell towers to go with the bird-choppers), these towers will be everywhere, and the infrastructure won’t be improved proportionately.
But the degree of control will be increased, and the deep state will get ever richer.
Most folks aren’t THAT sensitive to electromagnetic radiation (as far as can be detected, which isn’t that far), however, for the small percentage who are, it will become a living hell.
Look at the bright side, though. With all those towers, and birds flying by them and cooking (like the “streamers” near the solar power towers), you won’t need to cook tonight, or even call Chicken Delight. You can just wait under one of the towers for a pre-cook bird 🙂
P.S. There’s a huge hue and cry over here. The telecom folks don’t want it, the Greens (aka Watermelons) don’t want it, the taxpayers don’t want it, and the end users (that would be me 🙂 ) don’t want it. Rare indeed that such disparate groups agree on anything…

Plain Jane

I was just thinking the same while reading the article. I can just see the full moon drummers in Oregon going daft about this, along with people like me. Hope I can find more real info on it without the mercury scare stuff.

Cuppa Covfefe

I don’t have the link to hand, but there’s a hyper-sensitive woman who lives in Green Bank, West Virginia (near the big radio telescope) to avoid electromagnetic waves. As the scope has a radio wave blackout area around it (understandably, as they’re trying to receive radio signals from little green men FAR out in space), it’s perfect for her. And her health and well-being has improved immensely.
I wouldn’t be surprised if not having TV, etc., contributed to that… no idiotic interruptions, etc.

Plain Jane

I think I read about her a long time ago, but never heard an outcome. T Y, CC.

Gudthots

There are engineers that have cross disciplinary training in biology/chemistry that have dug into the available research. Seems that evolutionary levels of radio frequency radiation were 10**-9 less powerful than what you find standing in front of your microwave oven. That’s right 1 BILLION times less power.
And all living biology uses radio frequencies for proper function. What are our man-made sources stepping on? Birds can’t navigate. Bees fail to thrive and their colonies collapse near cell towers. Human diabetes cases began to climb after the advent of AM RADIO broadcast. Life is amazing. Life finds a way through many horrible toxic situations, but why are we doing this to ourselves?

Huber news:
House Judiciary Cttee member Doug Collins, Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows wrote to Huber to ask for an update.
The letter was on Scribd but is there no longer.
SD has a copy, though, in the Scribd format (interesting) as well as a screen grab:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2019/01/07/jim-jordan-doug-collins-and-mark-meadows-take-action-to-expose-ongoing-doj-institutional-fraud/
He says there is no Huber investigation and (without saying so, having a go at Q) writes that this is a ‘misinformation campaign’.
But, going back, didn’t he think Huber was helping Sessions?
Please refresh my memory — thanks.

Someone on that thread picked up on the indirect dig at Q:

‘The problem… we have enough proof of Q that your inside information falls flat. For example where did the 70k sealed indictments come from?’

Pat Frederick

he doesn’t believe there are that many sealed indictments either…

Either Q’s going to be right or SD will be.

No, actually even the Tick-tock-boom club were not so nuts as to claim that: 70,000 sealed indictments exist (they don’t); and GITMO was going to be used for military tribunals (it won’t); and Utah changed the death penalty rules on firing squads to transfer and eliminate the guilty (they didn’t)… But the “Q” crowd believe it.
There’s a difference between the Tick-Tock club and the “Q” crowd. One is just plain wrong; one is just plain nuts.

realsauce

F’ em all…heheh. I am going to EMBRACE that just like “deplorables” and “orange man”!!
Think I’m gonna design up a “Tick, Tick, BOOM!!” (yes, I made it more Limp Bizkitee) logo with a nice Q behind it and get shirts made!

……yea, yea, that’s the ticket!

realsauce

….and big ole twisty oak TREE inside the Q!

realsauce

Who knows, he just might be a “great actor” 😉

churchmouse

I don’t believe the number of sealed indictments is in context, either.
The problem with Q drops — and this is something SD hasn’t stated (he should, but he probably won’t): there is a difference between what Q actually says and what Q interpreters say he (they) is (are) saying.
I don’t follow much of what Q interpreters say for that very reason.

GA/FL

Was Local Treeper banned forthwith? Didn’t he/she know you just don’t do that?

Great answer! 🙂

Steve in Lewes

Church,
SD did claim that about Huber. And guess what, SD also proclaimed that the appointment of Mueller was a ‘brilliant move’ against the deep state. I remember posting a comment on CTH a few months back when SD started going all goofy. He was acting like the King Eeyore and all the little eeyores were following right along and slamming anyone who questioned the King (who has no clothes).
In my comment I posted a link to his own article (see below) and questioned the where-abouts of the Big Ugly “Flippo”. I also questioned how ‘Q’s “Trust the Plan” was any different than his ‘BigUgly’ scenario since both come from anonymous sources. To this day, I believe that this was the comment that got me banned.
BTW – his latest article that you linked is a ‘nothing new’ article except for the Jordan, et al letter. SD’s analysis is a rehash of previous posts by him going back a month or so. I noticed he was doing that a lot over the past year; he would post a ‘new’ article but it was more rehash from previous posts. Just my observation of course.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2017/05/17/brilliant-justice-department-appoints-robert-mueller-to-investigate-2016-russian-election-interference/

I saw that also. Very long posts but just a paragraph or two added. Not digging around for much new info or new topics. Definitely either a lot of personal business or lising interest.

para59r

Mueller was appointed in May of 2017. If you dig back the month before in the archives you can see where Sundance was a protagonist of bringing Mueller aboard as SC and convinced the Tree House it should be so.

para59r

Oh wait. You did that 🙂

Roberta

Here is REX over there and my response to him.
REX says:
January 8, 2019 at 2:46 am
With all respect, I tire of your constant negativity, Sundance. We are all anxious about Trump’s failure to declassify/no IG report – that’s normal. It raises the question, ‘why is the delay happening?’
To me, it’s just too easy to use simplistic narratives, to answer that question. At one end of the extreme is the narrative that Trump is a hopeless and powerless victim of events around him, with events being controlled by an endless series of caricatured , evil bad actors from ‘Deep State’. At the other end is the view that Trump is an astonishing genius, in total control of everything going on around him, running a masterful take down of the bad guys.
Neither POV is likely true.
Sundance, you have every reason to be cynical about the ability of anyone to reform a corrupted and broken system. However, it’s equally true that Trump is not just a normal ‘anyone’ and with his track record and the power he wields as POTUS, there’s reason to be optimistic that he will inflict a lot of damage on the criminals that tried to destroy the Republic, him and his family.
If he doesn’t, Trump knows they will come after him. To me, that’s the key fact that suggests he will try to bring them all down. It’s a zero sum fight – one side wins, the other loses. There’s no middle ground.
Right now, I think he is holding all his cards close, as leverage. It’s a risky strategy, but Trump is damn good at this game. Plus, he has powerful cards – VERY powerful ones – to play. I don’t really agree that he should be politicizing FISA etc for his own political gain, but I don’t know what’s going on.
And thata my final point : none of us know. We probably only know 50% (maybe less) of what’s going on. ALL of us are boxing at shadows. We should be extremely grateful for the tireless work Sundance puts in, as well as those who disagree with his position. In the end, I suspect we will all be right and wrong, in ways we didn’t expect.

Good for you, Roberta!
One thing I cannot stand is people unable to admit that they don’t know, or that they aren’t sure. To me, it’s a sign of emotional immaturity. It’s “virtue-signaling”, like Fakewood denizens employ, and I consider it psychological masturbation (sorry for the explicit, yet apt, term) – and it’s done IN PUBLIC!
“Look how GREAT I am!” “See the wonder of ME!” “Aren’t I GRAND?!!!” “I’m to be PRAISED!”
Not to admit that one is wrong is bad enough; not to admit that one MAY be wrong … is acting / being a FOOL.
Vanity is the number-one mortal sin (there may be semantics / nuances I’m missing here – I’m not expert on this subject). The deadliest sin, of all the forgivable sins (same caveat).
I see it being displayed wantonly by the cabal, and by its minions. I take no pleasure at all in seeing it displayed by our former host.

Thank you VERY much, Steve — not only for the link but your finely honed memory and analysis.
Wow.
I hardly know where to begin.
First, starting with the rehashes, yes, those have been a lot more frequent since the 11/11/18 post. He probably thinks that’s a good thing, because now he can prove to his readers how spot on he has been in his analysis of the Trump years. His loyal readers don’t want to know the truth. His new readers laud him as a genius.
I remember your comment. I might have even liked it, depending on what hour of the day it was. The Zippo is long gone. It’s worth reading his posts today just to see where he is in the grand scheme of things: mostly stasis. But, Big Ugly never happened.
Which brings me to your link from 2017. He says that the Mueller investigation was going to be great for PDJT and a total rout for the Deep State, especially Susan Rice. Like Muller from The X Files, we want to believe — and so many of us (myself included) did at the time.
Let us examine what he said, in part (emphasis in the original):
Tremors tonight in the Deep Swamp. The deep cleaning machine just got fired up. Watch how quiet and tenuously supportive the Democrats and their Left-Wing media cohorts are with this announcement.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein at the Justice Department has appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel to justice to oversee the federal investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

churchmouse

Hang on, I hadn’t finished. Dang, I was just about to highlight this — as it was in the original:
Tremors tonight in the Deep Swamp.
Then:
‘The appointment of a special counsel is excellent because it means Mueller has wide latitude to look into all of the 2016 Russian Conspiracy narratives the political opposition to Donald Trump has postulated.

churchmouse

Right, I’m going to continue from here rather than in the little combox (the bell notification).
Steve, just so you know, I’m quoting this for all of us Q Treepers who might not want to go back to the original post for a variety of reasons — all of which are understood and appreciated.
That said, this needs to be reposted:
‘The results here will be splendid for the Trump administration because there is no ‘there’ there in the collusion narrative. The White House approved of Rosenstein’s decision.’
Yes, the results have been ‘splendid’ — for Mueller and the Dems.
And, SD even thought that Mueller would delve into Seth Rich. He rarely mentions Seth Rich, yet, this was one of those momentous times:
‘This opens up an independent investigative path of: ♦The DNC leaking (Seth Rich), and ♦The impetus of the “Russian Dossier“, and ♦The Obama White House “surveillance and leaking” (Susan Rice/Evelyn Farkas), all the way to ♦John Podesta, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and the Obama White House.’
Can we infer that he thought something would happen to James Comey as a result of Mueller’s probe? Again, emphases — bold and italic — from the original:
‘Remember, FBI Director James Comey specifically stated (March 20th) that he intentionally withheld notification of congress for the FBI counterintelligence operation that began in July 2016 and was premised on the “vast russian conspiracy theory”.’
He implied that John Podesta would be in the picture:
‘Having a known entity like John Podesta with access to the PDB and the unmasked intelligence therein, puts the appropriate highlight on the risk carried by Russian hacking into Podesta’s electronic communications, stored data and email correspondence …
‘…..That same unmasked and widespread surveillance, under the auspices of intelligence gathering, was then shared with dozens of administration officials -beyond the likes of the National Security Council, Asst. Defense Secretary Farkas and politicos like John Podesta- which means it was more than likely reviewed, via hacking etc., by our most critical national enemies.
‘Follow that trail to where it leads and you’ll likely discover the real story that encompasses the motive to create the ‘vast Russian conspiracy‘.
‘It only took Susan Rice two minutes on MSNBC to highlight the entire motive.’
And he mentioned Evelyn Farkas, implying Mueller would bring all of this to light.
How many of us believed that at the time? It was so early in the Trump administration. It seemed so plausible.
Yet, today, a year and a half on, Mueller is still firmly in situ and PDJT continues to be dumped on every day from a great height.
There’s a lesson in this post.
Many thanks, Steve in Lewes, for reminding us of a pivotal CTH link and content. I greatly appreciate it.

I like it enough to excerpt a portion here – you are dead on, gf! Highly recommend my fellow den mates read it!
“Obviously none of this matters to our modern media, nor to the Democrat Party. As long as it’s a person from their side, they’ll pretend to not know things which are true, and go along with whatever frames a narrative – a narrative the general populace is too busy, and too disinterested, to examine more closely for deceit and prevarication (lying). As long as it’s one of their own, they’ll ignore any discrepancies. Why? It’s all about the Leftist agenda. Nothing is going to stand in the way of advancing the Cause of Leftism.
Having introduced the characters in this play, let’s get to the meat of this post – the warning. “We Ignore Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib at Our Peril.”
People like Ocasio-Cortez are doing more than making cute soundbites – they’re softening the public into accepting this kind of rhetoric which leads to further public denigration and marginalization of Republicans, conservatives and more recently, Jews.
Anyone who doesn’t believe that anti-Semitism is rearing it’s ugly head in the glossed over anti-Semitic rhetoric of the likes of Tlaib and Oman, are deluding themselves. Couple that with the excommunication of Christianity, specifically the Judaic-Christian foundation of this country by the Democrats in their 2012 National Convention platform, are pretending that what’s taking place right before our eyes – isn’t true.
Make no mistake it is. Marginalizing, mocking, denigrating, belittling, shrugging shoulders at demeaning rhetoric directed toward individuals, and in the larger context, groups, all move a society towards acceptance of this lowered status of the targeted group. Once that’s accomplished, then the next step is to deny them their rights – rights to jobs, housing choices, health care, and ultimately you’ve settled them into a low-caste status in our society.”

Lady! You spelled out quite accurately the frog in the boiling water scenario..You most definitely should write more! Beautiful!

very nicely done!

Excellent piece..you get it Lady P. I keep telling people we need to diminish this phonies in a very hard and complete way. People want to stick to her policy statements and I don’t think that is enough.

One “trick” that Wolf said we could use, when a problem occurs (major or minor) is to post FOUR links in a submission, and that this will cause it to go automatically into moderation.
Which he said he sees / gets notified of immediately. It may be quicker than the message you sent him.

Gudthots

Hello Lady Penquin.
If you create a post with more than 3 links (after initial moderation of a new poster), WordPress will put it into a moderation holding pattern awaiting Wolf’s review. He has actually suggested this as a method to privately send him a message.
I’d like to recommend you seriously consider sending him one such private message to Volunteer to become a contributor here at the Q Tree. 😉

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Just don’t make it a link to a video. That will embed and show up four times.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

(By the way: Ask me how I know this.)

Cuppa Covfefe

How do you know that???
InQuiring minds want to know 🙂

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Because I tried to send a private message to Wolf and used four links to a video in it to make it go into the bucket. It didn’t, it posted. SMDH.

Apparently, PDJT is speaking for only eight minutes tonight.
Is that long enough to change people’s minds to support the wall?
Maybe — if he does a Bibi Netanyahu presentation. That was really good: graphics + audio + speaker.

GA/FL

Sounds like he’s doing an announcement and not a speech. I hope he’s going to announce a State of Emergency and funding of the WALL to be built by US Army Corps of Engineers! I hope he holds up his middle fingers when saying the word Democrats…. just for a nano-second.

churchmouse

Bibi’s purpose was the same — an urgent announcement — but to get it through everyone’s head, that’s how he presented it.
It worked. I’d watch it again.
It only lasted 15 minutes, if that.

NYGuy54

All I know is that Pompeo said that POTUS is going to make news tonight.

Pat Frederick

well I read that Chuck and Nancy were giving the rebuttal, then someone else said former Presidents (LOL) and someone tweeted it should be Obama…so who knows. But I guarantee the rebuttals will be longer than the actual speech!

churchmouse

Oh, yeah, panel discussions all night long afterwards.

But of course…. (said in my best Grey Poupon butler voice)

As I was reading your comment, the thought struck me that as far as Senators go, this is a direct result of changing the Senate to elected vs. appointed representatives, i.e., 17th Amendment, which should be repealed. It also highlights for me the issue with the rules established by Congress – this is how they subvert our basic system of governance, IMO – via their convoluted, insane “rules,” which can be changed so easily to suit their desired goals.

Pat Frederick

your post underscores the one thing I agree with RBG on–the way it was, is the way it should be. She was confirmed by a vote of like 97-3. They didn’t bombard her about being on the Board of the ACLU—they thought she would make a decent Judge and that was that.
There is no decorum or civility left–those who attempt to reach across the aisle are accused of caving–not compromising.
And compromise is seen as a weakness not a strength.

NebraskaFilly

I think the GOPe are responsible for your last point – they have turned it INTO a weakness, IMO.

Pat Frederick

you’re right

“Our world is upside down.”
That’s what they want.
I suspect you know this, but they have been ACTIVELY trying to destroy our Republic for a long time now. They’ve been patiently chipping away.
You’ve seen the graphic of the 16-year plan, yes? I think THAT is why everything was becoming more intense, and it’s at a fever pitch now because their “timeline” has been HI, Jack! ed by our POTUS.
But they’re still committed, nevertheless, and have had to double, and re-double, their efforts and their pace.
They haven’t ANY integrity at all, these globalists and comped “leaders”.
“It’s not normal to fight and resist………, everything.”
They are sociopaths at BEST. Abnormal, destructive, and ultimately suicidal.
The people are SICK! These people are STUPID!

I would consider a DIVORCE before a “Civil War”.
Retarded states of america:
Washington State, Oregon,Califonicators, Nevada, Arizona and Utah….
(Excepting a 300 mile strip along the Mexico border to remain with US) …
Socialist states of america:
Everything North and East of a line from Lake Michigan to Include
Illinois down to the Kentucky/Tennessee line, then East to the Atlantic ocean.
WE (Patriots) will retain the rest and continue to be called the UNITED states of America.
WE will build a wall between US and Mexico….
AND…. a build a wall between US and the Californicators.
WE could do “Prisoner” swaps to get lost Patriots back home and remove IDIOTS.
WE will have a sound US currency without a “Central Bank”
WE will retain our CONSTITUTION and Original Bill of Rights….
(1st 10 Amendments)….The rest can be renegotiated.
I realize no dividing line(s) will please everyone, but It’s a starting point.

Linda

You do realize that there is a huge swath of land populated by conservatives in Washington, Oregon, and California? The leftist goons are in the big cities of those states – a small swath of land. So don’t be throwing us out of our own country like that!

I DO realize that……
As I said….. lines have to be drawn somewhere…..Not ALL people will agree on them (Wherever they are drawn)
It is just a way to AVOID a Civil War.

churchmouse

Thank you for posting the link to your article. (Have bookmarked.)
Agree that most traditional conservatives did not see what was coming with O.
Therefore, I would like to present another perspective on the 2008 election. That year, ex-Dems — now Independents, though Republican voters in November, for the most part — knew exactly what was happening with Obama.
They were the ones who raised all the questions about his legitimacy and background.
I was reading their blogs and fora (many at the time) starting then, years before I knew about CTH.
Just so everyone knows, ex-Dems remain as concerned as we are here for the future of the United States. Most of those ex-Dems are Trump supporters.

churchmouse

Thank you, milady.
My worry started with the 2008 campaign.
First, Hillary — who had pulled out of the race in June (her half-hour announcement was broadcast here in the UK) — did not request a roll count at the July convention. Hardcore Dems I know thought that was great, but Hillary’s delegates had already experienced the threats of violence against them or their family members if they did not cast their votes for Obama as the Dem candidate.
Then, one of Hillary’s relatives — also a lawyer — came out with info saying O was not a legitimate candidate (he was a birther).
A number of former Hillary candidates and supporters joined a loosely-formed group called PUMA (Party Unity My A–), so named because O’s campaign organisers told them to support O for party unity.
Almost immediately, PUMAs began supporting John McCain. Rightly so, IMHO. Of course, at that point, none of us — Dem or Republican — knew that he was playing a political game.
Various PUMA blogs and comment fora grew from that.
There were two sites that chronicled O’s family history in depth, including sources. That one is now devoted to canine health, with older posts now deleted. I’m not sure about the other.
Anyway, as soon as she was nominated as VP candidate, PUMAs had fallen in love with Sarah Palin, including a lesbian who had a pro-Palin site, again, since discontinued.
That woman changed from being a pro-abortion advocate into a pro-lifer, thanks to Sarah Palin.
By the time Hillary assumed the Secretary of State role post-election, most of her Dem supporters no longer were with her.
About a year after that, nearly all of the Clinton supporters in that group deserted not only her but also Bill. A small number supported her in 2018, but from a hard-left core, the others supported Jill Stein.
Currently, there are two regularly active ex-Dem (former HRC) sites remaining from 2008 which are pro-Trump:
The Trumpet (East Coast, I think) —
https://www.hillaryis44.org/
and
The Crawdad Hole (from California, Fresno in origin but nationwide in comments) —
https://crayfisher.wordpress.com/
Dems were way ahead of the Republicans that year, which is why I lend equal support to them, particularly as Trump supporters. They seem to know the political weather forecasts before conservatives do.

A Fortiori (@AFortiori16)

I was talking with a friend of mine about this earlier today. His view is that the wall is a symptom of a larger problem — our system of government is not working.
I think there is more to it than iron-fisted leadership; rumor had it that Lyndon Johnson was every bit as much of a tyrant as anyone we have now. I think it is money and the ability to use elected office to become rich and to then use money to remain in elected office and become even richer. There is no way to get filthy rich on the salaries we pay to our elected officials in a place as expensive as DC. Whatever form of graft is making our representatives rich must be dismantled before we will have folks who actually represent us.

michaelh

I think you have a solid data point, but I think there’s more to it. I think SD did a similar outline recently where he backed the train up to 2006 with Pelosi taking the gavel in the House.
I’ll back it up further.
* 1994 Republicans sweep the House in a record election
* Newt Gingrich as the Speaker of the House, begins executing the Contract with America
* Democrats had been in control for 40 years. They are seething that THEIR chamber was taken over. They will never forgive Republicans or forget.
* Newt and Republicans actual get things done. Clinton triangulates. Dems start going berserk.
* Special counsel Ken Starr appointed. Dems never forget and never forgive.
* Starr report issued and impeachment charges bought before the House
* The Lewinsky scandal broken by Drudge
* Clinton Impeached in the House. Dems never forgive and never forget.
* Senate does not convict Clinton.
* And life goes on…
Meanwhile…
* Bush happens, Iraq happens, Kerry fails in 2004
* Republican Congress of 2005-2006 a huge disappointment, corrupt and complacent
* Democrats run the “blue dog” coalition
* Democrats regain the House in 2006 midterms
* The Atlantic, December 2006: They never saw it coming – outlined the Dem strategy to retake the House
* Nancy Pelosi becomes speaker of the House
* Immediately starts ripping out everything from the Republican playbook and putting things back “in proper order”, which is to say to retain power and eliminate pesky things like “committee term limits” and the like.
* Frankly, Pelosi goes to war against Bush, draining him of effective governance during his last two years in office.
* Pelosi and team stack the dominoes to fall in their favor:
* Eliminate normal order budget process
* TARP bailouts (fix the crisis the D’s created) which W foolishly agreed with
* Created a slew of conditions to favor Democratic election
* Obama’s henchmen fought out Hillary
* Backup plan for the Big Club was McCain, the slower path to socialism as we said sadly during the 2008 election cycle
I’m going to borrow from SD’s outline to save myself some brainpower.

In 2006 it was the SEIU and AFSCME union foot-soldiers who smashed windows, advanced upon polling places and engaged in the most severe examples of voter fraud and intimidation. In 2018, with the help of uber-Alinsky DNC Chairman Tom Perez, that corrupt sentiment is now institutionalized within democrat-socialist political apparatus. ANTIFA is now the DNC grassroots activist approach.
Failing to accept the severity of this shift in the past decade is intellectually dishonest. As Nancy Pelosi said of the Occupy Wall Street violent anarchists: “God bless these people.” Indeed the OWS precursor to ANTIFA were laying the groundwork for the new severity of power in Democrat leadership. Nothing is out-of-bounds; no level of corrupt behavior will be avoided; everything will happen openly and without any backlash from a compliant media apparatus; the social fabric will be shredded.

When Democrats last took power in January 2007, Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer took control in the final two years of George Bush second term. Immediately they set about a process laying the groundwork for the 2008 presidential election of Barack Obama. This was a priority objective.
One of the techniques was the removal of the budget process. By eliminating the federal budget process in 2007 (fiscal year ’08) the Democrats paved the way for the next democrat president to demand massive open-ended spending.
By the time the year of the general election came around (2008), the lengthy budget process was replaced with Omnibus spending bills (fiscal year 2009). Obviously when Obama was successfully installed in November of 2008, the useful crisis was financial. The subsequent TARP bailout, auto bailout, ARRA ($1 trillion stimulus) and QE1 were all accomplished with massive omnibus spending packages.
[NOTE: These are important references because from that moment forward, despite the GOP taking back control in January 2011, the constraining budgetary process was forever destroyed. There was never regular-order budgetary spending again.]

George W Bush was exiting, and unlimited spending was used to empower the entry of Obama…
…Insert the commentary on ACA above…
Within the 63 House seats the Marxists lost in that 2010 midterm election; they killed off the entire 40 member Bart Stupak coalition; the blue-dog caucus. Totally willing to sacrifice 40 seats to attain a generational ideological objective (ObamaCare)…
While 63 democrat seats were lost in the November 2010 election (and six democrat senate seats), those exiting Marxists, despite just having suffered the worst defeat in almost 100 years, audaciously –and apologetically– voted in the December 2010 lame-duck session, to fully fund President Obama’s next two years in office. This was done by Speaker Nancy Pelosi specifically to block the incoming GOP wave from upending the priorities of the Obama administration in 2011. That was called the “Porkulous” spending bill; and the democrat-marxists didn’t give a snit about how it looked.
When it comes to political weaponization and political power constructs the Marxists have exceptional work ethics; they will outwork anyone on the other side who opposes them. They are far, far, better at political strategy and scheme than conservative politicians.

michaelh

The short version is that the era of hyperpartisan-ship did NOT start with Obamacare.
It’s been festering under the surface since uppity Newt Gingrich failed to recognize his place in 1994.
Many events have amplified it.
2006 brought the powder keg together.
2008 however was the watershed. The match was lit when Hillary was upended by upstart Obama who literally sent his thugs in to make sure he won the nomination.
It wasn’t the “civil” Hillary that won the 2008 election, but organizer-in-chief Obama.
The tactics were not abandoned once in office. They amplified. Rapidly.
Many things were pushed through over the concerns of the populace and the people of the United States reacted to it. This is what triggered the Tea Party movement – in 2009.
I agree partisanship reached an apex in March 2010 when PPACA was passed.
The Dems paid a handsome price for this in the 2010 midterms.
But as SD said:
…They are so committed to the long-term view they are willing to sacrifice anything for the biggest, most consequential, advances toward their objectives. In 2010 the democrats killed their own “blue-dog” coalition to advance their ideological goals.
Within the 63 House seats the Marxists lost in that 2010 midterm election; they killed off the entire 40 member Bart Stupak coalition; the blue-dog caucus. Totally willing to sacrifice 40 seats to attain a generational ideological objective (ObamaCare)…
That’s why there is hyper-partisanship – they want full control and will stop at nothing to get it. They have long since dropped all pretext of being reasonable in their plans…
…they never thought that he would win…

churchmouse

Whoa! Bolton smiling:

churchmouse

A couple of quotes from the article from Tropical Trump’s man.
No wonder Bolton is smiling:
“There is no real outside enemy: the enemy is self-neglect. The postmodern West is a West that does not want to look at itself. It has a strong impulse to question itself, and sometimes even enjoys replacing its own culture with the culture of non-Western immigrants arriving in increasing numbers. It doesn’t do so because it is altruistic, nor because it has compassion or tolerance – which are just a façade: at heart the West has opened up the floodgates for millions of immigrants because it is in self-rejection, because it is suffering psychically. Trump wants to stop this self-destructive impulse from advancing.”
Also:
“The post-modern West that was the result of all meanings being deconstructed is also a politically-correct West where meanings are imposed, taboos are established, and thought is set in stone. The West was born questioning the meaning of words, but it has given up lately. If Socrates were to show up today and, using his famous approach, were to start asking “what is racism?”; “what is social justice?”; “what are human rights?”; “what is a right?”; “what is human?”; and were he to reveal how intellectually senseless and superficial these and other concepts were, he would once again be condemned to drink hemlock.”

churchmouse

One more:
“Take “diversity,” for example. It’s often said that Africa’s problems – civil wars, coups d’état, massacres, and instability – are as a result of the artificially-created colonial borders the independent African countries inherited, borders that brought together several rival ethnic groups under one state. Underlying that interpretation, which is so common among well-meaning people, is the assumption that ethnic diversity within a country thus triggers the most serious conflicts. An obvious corollary is that African borders should, ideally, be redrawn along ethnic lines, avoiding diversity within the same country. However, the same well-thinking people go to extremes to promote diversity in Western countries, arguing that not only is it a moral duty but also that, given its supposed benefits, saying that the diversity provided by immigration stimulates intellectual advancement, cultural output, and the economy. Quite interesting. The only way to rationally explain this reverse sign of diversity – bad in Africa, good in the United States or in Europe – is to assume that certain people have the capacity to live with diversity while others do not. Such an explanation would, of course, be met with rejection by an outraged dominant ideology. How, then, do they explain it? They don’t. They remain double-minded, the Stalinist logic, whereby 2 + 2 is sometimes 5, is sometimes 3, depending on what is politically-expedient. “Diversity’ is thus explained as a concept that is not rational, nor searchable, nor can be inquired into, but merely a slogan, a brick you throw into a window you want to break, rather than a brick to be used, along with other bricks, to construct a building of logical thinking.”

Health insurance is one thing. Financing the cost of treatment is quite another.
A lot of Americans decry the NHS, but it works pretty well. And, thank goodness, we don’t get asked about ‘co-pay’ and other BS when we go visit the doctor.
Some Britons get private healthcare for what used to be known as ‘catastrophic’ coverage (i.e. ability to get a private room in an NHS hospital). As for chronic illness, a private doctor transfers private patients to NHS treatment under his or his team’s care.
What say you, Steve?
I had American relatives die from poor health care in the 1970s in top local/national US hospitals. So, I do not rate US healthcare much. Overall, I do not see a lot of difference between the US and the UK.
In that context, I’ll take the NHS any day.

Convention Of States Project Vies For 4 Pinocchios
“Given COSP’s trail of deception, how can we possibly trust them with our Constitution?”
“Mark Meckler, president of Convention of States Project (COSP), sidesteps the arguments of his conservative opposition. That’s most likely because Meckler’s responses aren’t logical, and his adversaries’ arguments ring true to Republican state legislators whose votes Meckler needs on his Article V convention applications.1
Instead, Meckler deceives Republicans by playing the victim to leftist, globalist billionaire George Soros. Since April 2017, COSP operatives have spread the false narrative that Soros has declared war on them. But in fact, backers of COSP are on the same side as Soros in their quest to rewrite our Constitution at an Article V convention AKA “constitutional convention,” “con-con,” or “convention of states.” 2
https://freedomoutpost.com/convention-of-states-project-vies-for-4-pinocchios/

TheseTruths

“…how can we possibly trust them with our Constitution?”
Right; we can’t. Thanks for posting this. Our Constitution is fine, and it has an amendment process for making changes. No one can be trusted with it. To put it bluntly, I think there are very few who are smart enough to deal with such a consequential issue, I think being a “super patriot” goes to people’s heads, and I know the Left would love to get their hands on the Constitution and would infiltrate the movement. I have no doubt that they already have done so.

rayzorbak

Wile I am skeptical…… I don’t think that the COS is a “constitutional convention” like the 1st one, but instead is a way for the States to propose “Amendments” to the Constitution like the CONgress does.
Any “proposed” Amendments would still have to be ratified by 3/4 of the State Legislatures and NOT involve CONgress at all.
That is my understanding anyway…… I could be wrong.

Emeraldstar

It’s still really, REALLY dangerous, IMO.
Let’s get the house we have in order, before we try to change the house rules!

rayzorbak

Would you not like to have:
Term Limits for CONgress?
A BALANCED Federal BUDGET?
CONCRETE Immigration LAWS?
etc?
Do you think CONgress will EVER Pass these things?
COS may be the ONLY way to get any of them.
(Not that I’m all in for a COS)
Just want a TRUE understanding of what it is.

NebraskaFilly

They have carte blanche to change it at any time during the process and we, The People, have no recourse – this is how we ended up with the Constitution we have now. Only slight changes were to have been made but instead, they came up with an entirely new document. We do not have enough wise, mature, level-headed, freedom-loving patriots in our government to take the chance. JMO

rayzorbak

That is an understandable fear……
The COS is NOT to replace the ENTIRE Constitution….
Just to PROPOSE AMENDMENTS.

rayzorbak

BTW….. I think it takes 2/3 of the STATE legislatures to even propose an Amendment…..
Then it takes 3/4 of the STATES to approve it.
(That’s my understanding of it.
Once again, the COS is NOT to replace the entire Constitution…
Just PROPOSE Amendments like the CONgress can do…..
Just WITHOUT CONgress having a say in it…. WE Do.

NebraskaFilly

Yes, I understand that – neither was the first one!

phoenixRising

It’s my understanding that SCOTUS will be hearing oral arguments all week…

NebraskaFilly

“Where did I find my information to make the connection between “Most Educated” and “Smart Cities”? The U.S. Dept. of Transportation. Why DoT? Smart Cities must change your city’s infrastructure to succeed.
ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) actually mandated innovation and infrastructure changes to be made. However, ESSA’s not the only law of the land allowing this. Many other federal laws are, as well. Anything law with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and, Math) will impact infrastructure changes.
Why all the changes? To align our nation with the Sustainable Development Goals from the United Nations and UNESCO. Many experts on “Smart Cities” will tell you the proof exists to point to a global agenda of being tracked, data mined (aka: data raped) constantly in these Smart Cities. What if you live in the country or rural areas?
How will you be tracked? You’ll be herded into a “most educated” or “Smart City” near you. For example, in the map I created, NC has the ‘most educated’ town near Asheville, NC. Asheville isn’t near a bonafied “Smart City” right now (it is in an “Innovation Zone” for NC). The nearest “Smart City”? Charlotte.”

“It’s that time again: the United Nations is officially releasing the all new Agenda 2030 sustainable development plan, or what some have hailed as “the new Agenda 21 on steroids,” at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit kicking off today in New York City.
Since these supposedly non-binding international agreements can sometimes be a bit tricky to decode, what with all the weaponized buzz terms and semantics games, we’ve prepared a handy dandy translator on the 17 new Agenda 2030 goals below.”

Reference the 5G networks:
“Think about the ESSA mandates and mental health grabs via ‘Safe Schools’. “Safe Schools” must be in ‘safe cities’. Look at your State’s legislation concerning ‘safe schools’ it’s more control, not more freedom or safety.
Enter The OAS (Organization of American States):
Back in 2016, I showed you that the US was involved in the OAS (Organization of American States) and that some research had been done to connect OAS to “Smart Cities”.
Here’s a screenshot from the OAS Ministers of Education meeting (held in 2017, in the Bahamas):”
“Warriors, in 2018, OAS joined Amazon Web Services for a joint ‘research’ paper (aka: slick spin doctor document) on Smart Cities and technology. At the center? Five G (5G Technology).”
“Warriors, if you want to learn about the ‘social acceptance’ expected of We the People when it comes to “Smart Cities” we need only to look at the short video featured at the 2018 Connected Smart Cities Conference. The Conference is a part of the “Open and Agile Smart Cities” (OASC) based in Europe.”

Emeraldstar

“Sustainable”
This is the new catch-word, the new cloak to conceal the globalist agenda of permanent tyranny.
As you said – the “weaponized buzz term[ ]”.

churchmouse

Has been for several years here in the UK.
Everything here has to be ‘sustainable’.

Cuppa Covfefe

Look up Agenda 2030 (not just 21), and also http://www.weforum.org. These “smart” cities are more Big Brother (or Big Bother) than smart. They’re also behind the push for electric cars. With electric cars, mobility is decreased (especially in winter), and more control can be exerted upon the hapless citizens (and aliens of all sorts) by watching and controlling their every move.
China’s social index is also a part of the plan…

NebraskaFilly

As well as elimination of the weak and the elderly and containing them.
“To believe that the government really cares about the fate of their elderly population is dubious. As government reduces their access to medical care, sky-rockets their insurance premiums, and taxes them so much that they are unable to pay for assisted living, these planners are trying to crowd the elderly into tiny apartments on the premise that their lives would be improved by proximity to public transportation, work, shopping, dining, and entertainment. It is just another attempt to herd human beings into tiny spaces in order to control land use, mobility, and urban sprawl, all Sustainable Development goals.”

Similar to high rise apartment buildings in Russia, where they placed the crippled and infirm at the highest floors with non-operable elevators. False imprisonment actually.

POTUS has suggested that we change “Build that Wall” to “FINISH THAT WALL”

churchmouse

I hope he says that tonight.

The Trump Page *https://twitter.com/MichaelDelauzon* is back after 24 hour Twitter suspension – for WHAT?!?!!!
Wired Sources was permanently suspended too…and Breaking 911 has had several suspensions.
Evidently the Twitter gestapo doesn’t like Trump folks to get straight up unfiltered news and periodically shuts it down.

phoenixRising

Thanks GA/FL
I have been checking… good to know they are back up

I really miss WiredSources and Wictor on Twitter!

Yes, Michael Delauzon was suspended before (last year, IIRC). Again, for what, who knows?

click on the twitter thread and someone tweets that Omar (married her brother) was also arrested…

churchmouse

Hi, Pat, you can copy and paste the link to the tweet, and it will show up in your comment.
Here’s how.
When you look at the top of your screen and see ‘http’ or ‘https’, put your cursor on that line, right-click with your mouse, then copy and paste.
https://twitter.com/mgrant76308/status/1082575645920632832

Pat Frederick

thanks…I took that one from OT…sometimes the link appears, sometimes it doesn’t…??

churchmouse

When you highlight it, it will be in blue. Well, it is on my PC, anyway. There will be a stripe of colour covering the line beginning with ‘http:’ or ‘https:’. That’s what you want in order to copy and paste successfully.
If there is no stripe of colour on the link, it won’t copy and paste properly, meaning, it won’t show up in the comment.
Try it a few times. One or more of us will help you out. 🙂

I miss Laura a lot.

GA/FL

You can bet President Trump got a hoot out of that!

NYGuy54

This is a very subtle way of diminishing the President. Forget about policy…just make people believe he is a liar. I hear this now from everyone. Our side is way too soft, too polite. We think winning policy arguments is all we need. The other side does not care about how they win.

phoenixRising

I concur completely NYGuy…
This mantra they have going wrt to President Trump being a liar has no basis, simply stems from Hildebeast starting comment during the campaign in 2016. Her supporters are like cult members… they doubt NOTHING she says…
With the aid of twitter this disinformation has spread like wildfire…

Gudthots

While we would prefer it to not be true, here is the recipe we are witnessing:
Mind-Control Media + TDS + Confirmation Bias = “PDJT is a Liar”
If you ask one of these NPCs, “When has he lied?” They really don’t have good examples. “He said the mall was full at his inauguration.” is one example they try to use. Of course, if you send them a photo of the mall full, they reject it as “photo-shopped.”
This what we are up against.
We MUST pray for the veils to be ripped away from their minds.

NYGuy,
I am not Jewish, but it seems to me that the DIMS are throwing Jewish people and Israel under the bus… their support of Muslims has escalated to the point that they brush aside any evidence of anti-semitism.
Am I obsessing over this? What do you think about it.?

Molly Pitcher

I don’t think that you’re obsessing or seeing something that isn’t there. It’s there. AND they’re letting go of blacks in favor of illegals/immigrants. Very plain to see.

NYGuy54

very sharp comment Molly. I agree

Yes, totally agree with observation that they are letting go of blacks in favor of illegals.

Some Ting very wrong with this proposal. Another govt intrusion but really more severe.
State congressional rep Ting propising bill that requires all CA businesses to give only electronic receipts and fine anyone who gives a paper one.
Tracking your purchases in every business! Your payment info, personal info, email are all kept in every business then transferred to the state to “monitor” the husiness and also for their tax purposes.
I wouldnt doubt it passes with the dimm supermajority.
I will have to ask for paper.
I think there are a lot of industries that may push back on this plus the costs to businesses will be so high.
Its typical fascist ca dimms.
California would become the first state to require businesses to offer electronic receipts unless customers ask for paper copies under legislation proposed on Tuesday.
Many businesses and consumers already are moving toward e-receipts, said Democratic Assemblyman Phil Ting of San Francisco.
But he said a law still is needed because many consumers don’t realize most paper receipts are coated with chemicals prohibited in baby bottles, can’t be recycled and can contaminate other recycled paper because of the chemicals known as Bisphenol-A (BPA) and Bisphenol-S (BPS).
His bill, AB161, would require all businesses to provide proof of purchase receipts electronically starting in 2022 unless the customer asks for a printed copy.
It comes days after another first-in-the-nation California law took effect requiring dine-in restaurants to provide drinking straws only at customers’ request
The penalties in Ting’s bill are modeled on the straw bill, said Nick Lapis of Californians Against Waste. It calls for written warnings for the first two violations and a fine of $25 a day for subsequent infractions, with a $300 cap.
“It’s intended to be a pretty light touch in terms of enforcement,” Lapis said.
Advocates said the use of straws is declining after that law was passed.
Many larger stores already offer the choice involving receipts but it is unclear if a mandate would cause a hardship for small and medium-size stores, said California Retailers Association spokeswoman Pamela Williams. Her association and the California Chamber of Commerce have not taken positons on the bill.
Ting said businesses can save money by moving away from printed receipts.
The advocacy group Green America, which is pushing a “skip the slip” campaign, estimated that millions of trees and billions of gallons of water are used annually to produce paper receipts in the United States.
Ting cited studies by the Environmental Working Group and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that retail workers have higher concentrations of BPA or BPS than those who do not have regular contact with receipts.
Ting said consumers can still request paper receipts if they are worried about giving out their email addresses for privacy reasons or to avoid having their emails used or sold for marketing purposes.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Maybe just allow the customer to decline the receipt altogether. 90% of the time they are just wastepaper.
