There are a lot of talented musical composers and musicians out there, who make a living doing ‘background music’ for movies and trailers.
I started seeking them out…and find that I love a lot of their stuff.

I have two Tangerine Dreams CDs which I got about 10 years ago.
They have several albums. I started listening to them back in the 80’s – was great fall-asleep music for me in college.
They became noteworthy (to me) when I first heard their music in the movie “Risky Business”. When Tom Cruise got busy with the prostitute on the train, the steamy music in the back ground was Tangerine Dream…
“Unbroken” is one of my favorites, too. I seem to remember it being used on a pro-Trump vid someone did back in the 2016 campaign.

I tried watching ‘Doom’ years ago, but I think I turned it off when it got gory…so I have only a vague memory of it.
He’s been making PG action movies and some children-oriented movies in recent years…all of which I have liked.
I don’t think Johnson has any executive experience, which is essential for being a good President.
Only saw it once and seemed to match what was going on in a very repressive society. I remember thinking that’s Islam on a bad day (Isis hadn’t come about then). All the hero’s (his military buddies) died until only Johnson was left.
He then beats all the odds, becomes victorious (good right) but then at the very very end he declared himself the new tyrant as a look of evil crept across his face.
It was one of those type movies I thought some big eyeore with deep pockets might of paid for to see how his vision might play out.
I was thinking the movie was showing the eyeore/s how totally invincible Islam is and it would take someone of Johnson’s stature to defeat it which would never be in the cards.

I have found over the years that ponies have a resident EVIL within them! I boarded one little shit who was an outstanding show pony but evil through-and-through – and SMART??!!?? Whoo, boy! He would get down on his knees and roll underneath the fence, then go open the gate and let all the other horses out. One year on Thanksgiving, I had 3 horses running down West Ox Road in Herndon, VA. THAT was fun!
Because the Draft breeds are BIG and DANGEROUS the mean and spookiness was bred out of them.
With riding horses they were bred for USABILITY, decent manners and then good gaits.

This is certainly nowhere near the same level of possible danger but similar actions occur within the mobile/modular home industry. I worked as a Quality Control Inspector in a double-wide mobile home plant run by Fuqua Homes in Pueblo, CO. I would go through with my checklist and the Manager would always tell me to leave it alone, they would fix it all the problems during the set-up. NOTHING ever got fixed before it left the plant!
Cutting corners will ALWAYS come back to bite you on the ass! It was so frustrating that I took a job in the office instead – fewer headaches. And the plant ended up closing any way. That was right before I went into the Army.
That would have driven me mad.
Hope the Army was a more fulfilling experience, if more gruelling.
Yes, more physically demanding but mentally much more straight-forward. You ALWAYS know where you stand in the military – there is an Army reg that covers literally everything!
At the same time, there are certainly frustrating elements. As an example: I met a woman named Carol at the AFEES station in Omaha – we went through basic and AIT together – we both got accelerated promotion in each. We both were selected for a special assignment to the MDW MILPERCEN typing pool (kind of a temp agency for Army admin staff) – again, both got accelerated promotion to E-4, both assigned to the SDRP (Special Discharge Review Probram – updating Vietnam era discharges), we both received ARCOMs for the project.
Yet, when it came time for promotion to E-5, Carol had taken ONE college course so she was promoted while I was not. Didn’t make any difference WHICH course – could have been elementary basket-weaving – and yet that was the only reason I lost out. Not right or fair, IMO, especially considering that I was a better typist, faster and more accurate. Job performance does not carry enough weight, IMO.

I’m usually a reasonable person, but Mueller is on my negative list. No amount of jiggling the puzzle pieces excuses his carrying on the investigation, keeping a dark cloud over POTUS (through 2018 elections) – when, in fact, he knew over almost 2 yrs ago, there was no collusion. He kept the investigation going regarding POTUS to set him up, entrapment, on a obstruction charge. Which would was also without legal grounds – but would have set the narrative.
If Mueller had more to investigate, he simply could have absolved POTUS and made it clear that he had others he was looking at, Manafort, Stone, etc. for crimes having nothing to do with POTUS.
By the time this is done, Mueller will be hated by both the Left and the Right. He deserves scorn.

It takes 160 to 200 acres to produce 20 megawatts of solar power, according to Dominion Energy—meaning that, at the very least, it would take 56,000 acres of solar to produce that amount of energy. In that case, a suitable power plant would require roughly 87.5 square miles of land covered in solar panels.
The Accomack solar facility still collects its subsidies and credits, which amounted to $1.1 million in 2018. But county supervisors are trying to make sure that it can’t happen again. It is with the saddest heart that I must pass on the following news:
Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes in the belly.
He was 71.
Pop-N-Fresh was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies and Captain Crunch.
The grave site was piled high with flours.
Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded.
Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers.
He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes.
Despite being a little flaky at times, he still, as a crusty old man, was considered a roll model for millions.
Doughboy is survived by his wife, Play Dough; two children John Dough and Jane Dough; plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father Pop Tart.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

Reading this I thought of the difference between Hillary, her leftist supporters, and President Trump and us.
Here is a woman who has been blessed beyond measure with money, power, and even grandchildren. It has never enough for her. Her run for the presidency as well as any position she has ever held has been all about her entitlement and greed. To me, she exudes bitterness.

The Democrats, including every candidate now running, have—to my knowledge—all supported and been a part of this in that they have all supported and were with “her”.
Donald Trump’s candidacy as well as his presidency has been all about restoring power to the people, honor to the office, as well as the restoration of constitutional justice, military strength, and respect to the country.
He is working night and day to protect innocents and to restore and retain freedoms. This is and has been selfless actions of love.
I hope that President Trump will speak a great deal of this love that motivates him because the people need to be reminded. I say this even as I feel that the choice we face in the upcoming election should be evident to good people everywhere.

We’re high enough here. There’s a branch of the storm drain system at the bottom of the hill, but it has only flash flooded and then only when hurricane remnants make it this far north. For the most part, right now, we’re okay other than smaller levee breaches and one wall failure over in Illinois. But, it’s only May.

Feinstein’s hubby’s company makes brokerage fees on leases by the post office for buildings. The owners of the buildings pay the hubby’s company brokerage fees for “negotiating” the leases and then said company tells the owners to raise their rates to make back those fees. Would also highlight agency as source of some of the leaks,” Strzok wrote in an email to FBI colleagues on April 13, 2017.
The email is highlighted in a letter that two Republican senators sent Monday to Michael K. Atkinson, the inspector general of the intelligence community.
In the letter, Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin asked Atkinson if he has investigated whether the CIA or other intelligence community agencies leaked information to the press.
They pointed to a Dec. 15, 2016 text message that Strzok, the lead investigator on the Trump-Russia probe, sent to then-FBI attorney Lisa Page.
“Think our sisters have begun leaking like mad. Scorned and worried and political, they’re kicking in to overdrive,” Strzok wrote Page.
Strzok did not identify a specific leak, but a day earlier, NBC News broke a bombshell story that Russian President Vladimir Putin was personally involved in the U.S. election hacks. The story was sourced to “senior U.S. intelligence officials.”
Strzok’s email several months later referred to another bombshell report, this one published by The Guardian.
Entitled “British spies were first to spot Trump team’s links with Russia,” the 2017 story claimed that British intelligence provided their American counterparts with information about possible Trump campaign contacts and Russians in late 2015.
In his email to colleagues, Strzok did not dispute The Guardian’s report. But the article appears to have raised his suspicion that the CIA, which is referred to in government circles as “the agency,” had intelligence that had not been shared with the FBI. Strzok believed some of that intelligence had been leaked to the media, even though it was inaccurate.

I don’t think Congress understands that the DOJ works for POTUS – it’s his executive department. They were perfectly within the scope of their job description, even their responsibilities, to brief the President as necessary. They could brief him on every investigation – Mueller’s investigation of POTUS was separate, so if Mueller kept secrets, okay, but all the players – their in the cooking pot. It’s POTUS’ job to keep this country safe – from all enemies, foreign and Domestic.
