Dear KMAG: 20190919 Open Thread

This Showing My Age Night Before Daughn Thursday 20190919 Open Thread is officially Open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA / KAG! / KMAG world (KMAG being a bit of both MAGA and KAG!

You can say what you want, comment on what other people said, and so on.

Free Speech is practiced here. ENJOY IT. Use it or lose it. Keep it SOMEWHAT civil.

They tried to FORCE fake Orwellian civility on us. In response, we CHOOSE true civility to defend our precious FREEDOM from THEM. Our rules began with the civility of the Old Treehouse, later to become the Wolverinian Empire, and one might say that we have RESTORED THE OLD REPUBLIC – the early high-interaction model of the Treehouse – except of course that Q discussion is not only allowed but encouraged, and speech is considerably freer in other ways. Please feel free to argue and disagree with the board owner, as nicely as possible.

Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined here in the January 1st open thread. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven

SPEAK THE FIVE WORDS BOLDLY TO OUR PRESIDENT!

“I AM PRAYING FOR YOU!“

Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined here in the January 1st open thread. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven.

Also remember Wheatie’s Rules:

  • 1.No food fights.
  • 2.No running with scissors.
  • 3.If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Since I’m off to the camp and cut off from the daily grind and to get in a little fishin’… .

I leave it all in the hands of you Qtreepers to shine the light on this GREAT TREE!

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yuri Bezmenov on WHY “In God We Trust” PROTECTS America.
https://youtu.be/ywTljZW87dI

Linda

Wow, he really says it all in very few words. Very profound. Almost so simple that many people won’t believe it. But I do.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yes – it’s extremely profound! If one asks WHY what he’s saying is true, it leads into all kinds of higher math, science and philosophy, including the very idea of what can be proven and what cannot.

michaelh

3:34 “The answer to ideological subversion ironically is very simple. You don’t have to [target people], you don’t have to [confront militarily] … you simply have to have faith and prevent subversion. In other words, not to be a victim of subversion. Don’t try to be a person who in judo who is trying to smash the enemy and is caught by the power of his hand. Don’t strike like that. Strike with the power of your spirit and moral superiority. If you don’t have that power it’s high time to develop it. And that’s the only answer.”
Sounds very much in line with Václav Havel, Solzhenitsyn…
The biggest threat to communism is the virtue of the people who trust in the Lord.

Linda

Which is why, unfortunately, so many people these days are flirting with socialism. The democrats threw God out of their party back in 2012 and are now doing outreach to what they say is becoming a big religion – atheism.

michaelh

It’s a problem…
But it’s also socialism’s Achilles heel.
What he does not talk about however is the left’s blatant infiltration and subversion of the churches. Part of the reason so many churches are dying is because they stopped following Christ and became cheerleaders for every leftist cause known to man.
Leftism can be described as a religion. I prefer to look at it in terms of a cult. A lot of mind control goes into the thought system to put left turn signs a every intersection. That’s why you can’t talk to a leftist without them changing the subject like they were chasing squirrels – “But what about …???”
https://wqth.wordpress.com/2019/09/18/20190918-horowitz-testimony-thread/#comment-256978
Alison, talking about the Peace Corps “My brother spent two years in the PC in Yemen, smoking qat with the men and gazing at women’s ankles. He came home so radicalized, we haven’t had a non-confrontational conversation since. Nowdays, we rarely speak. He lives in Austin; hates Texas; hates the USA and thinks Hillary walks on water.”
That’s exactly the kind of setup for someone deal with cultic mind control. Sounds a lot like what Steve Hassan described in his story and in his books as a former Moonie. Get them on altruism, do good for the world. If you can get people overseas, you can show them how bad everything is, and EVERY STORY you can make it out like the Americans really screwed everyone over… young people don’t know better and will quickly believe all that garbage. The more outrageous the stories, the better – make them feel moral outrage, not curiosity to find the facts. If they’re smoking, they are very susceptible – get them high enough and even a total blathering idiot suddenly seems like a genius. A few months with their critical faculties shut off, getting outraged and bitter with crazy lies – it poisons everything. Leftism is a ready made belief system for resentful people feel like the world really owes them something. About what other people should do for them, but not about responsibility to self. That kind of attitude makes it very hard to reconcile a belief system with God.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

This is why RETROCULTURE is so subversive right now.
CULTURE is now COUNTERCULTURE.
So I say BRING IT INTO those mainline churches as a kind of smart, slow and persistent REBELLION. Which, like the original Christ model, cannot be defeated.
Stop running from their subversion. SUBVERT BACK without shame.comment image

Deplorable Patriot

A chalkboard and an eraser…talk about retro.
God’s law gives us social order, that’s the gist. And one of the appeals of Islam is the lack of choices. They are made for the individual. My own faith does that for some issues, but not others. However, the order of things is laid out. Where we went off the rails before my time, was removing the sense of majesty and awe from all things related to the Savior. And the people were told 55 years ago or so that this was the way the early Church was. Dora posted a story about a fifth century church building in Hippos that belies that. There is clearly a sanctuary and high altar in the ruins.
In the 20th century, religion was attacked so as to destroy it, and, thus, society. There is no other way to explain it.

nikkichico7

I like this guy … a LOT …. God bless him .. 🙂🤚❤️‼️

michaelh

I think this really calls for a longer discussion in another post…

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yes, I’m sure we’ll come back to this one!

Alison

Beautiful opening scene, TrumpIsMine! It looks like there’s a ladder or windmill behind the tree (I see just a tiny bit of the base behind tree trunk on lower right) (or I really DO need to see the eye doctor!). Anyway, beautiful colors in that picture.
Enjoy your camping 🤓

daughnworks247

We need to bring the worms and go fishing with TrumpIsMine!

Deplorable Patriot

You don’t use crickets?

daughnworks247

Big monster earthworms.

Deplorable Patriot

Nightcrawlers or something more monstrous?

daughnworks247

I don’t think they’re big enough to be nightcrawlers. We tore down the chicken coup a few yrs ago, the yard for where the chickens were has best dirt and 100% guaranteed fishing worms.

Alison

Has anyone seen this addressed? Where does that sexual predator Buck get his money to donate to the Dems? He lives in a sleazy apartment, and I haven’t seen anything about jobs, trust funds or whatever. I don’t think he’s a drug dealer, but he’s gotta be funded somehow if he’s a big enough donater that all the politicians sucked up to him! What an evil twisted man he is.
I wonder if the jail where he’s being held has checked their cameras to make sure they’re working, and bought NoDoze for the guards 🙄. Sure would hate to see him Epstein’d …

Sadie Slays

The public narrative is that he owned a delivery company (gee, I wonder what he was delivering) and then sold it for a million dollars. He also worked as a model when he was younger.
https://www.wehoville.com/2017/08/16/who-is-ed-buck/

Alison

Thanks for the link, Sadie. After reading it, I still don’t think his ‘path’ makes him wealthy enough to be someone the pols suck up to – maybe Schiff, but Hillary? Seems like he spent more time on activism than profitable ventures. Either he’s just an out and out vile pervert or there’s more to the story. Time will tell!

Gail Combs

Money Launderer??
The Drug Cartels need a ‘legal’ way to get $$$ into the hands of the politicians so the pols look clean. Ed Buck could have been the middleman.

Today is Day 45 of 8chan being offline. Today is also the re-opening of the Washington Monument, which has been closed since December 2016. The official reason for the closure has ranged from “repairs” to “contaminated soil,” but I speculate the real reason was to prevent the black hats from staging a terrorist attack.
Anyways, here are some quick facts about the Washington Monument:
– It’s 555 feet 5 1⁄8 inches tall. If you convert feet to inches and round the number, it’s 6666 inches tall.
– The Washington Monument located inside a yonic symbol, making the whole thing look like a symbol of sexual intercourse. The Masons who designed it, however, would probably argue that it’s a symbol of “generation” or “conjunction” rather than call it “sex.”comment image
– Speaking of Masons, the Washington Monument was authorized by Congress in 1833. 33 is an important Mason number.

Katie

Melania will attend the ceremony for the re-opening Thursday morning.

I look forward to seeing what she wears!comment image

LOL as I was reading the announcement I was thinking, “ oh good, we’re gonna get some MOAR fashion”. 😊. That’s almost as good as MOAR winning!

I hate to say it, but that article is from April – from the first election that didn’t turn out to be enough for Likud to form a government. It’s looking like this election is going to be the same.

🦋🦋bflyjesusgrl🦋🦋

Oh no! 😩 Sorry I did not check the date. I want and have been praying for it to be true, that counts right? 😃 Thanks for the catch Miss Linda.

Deplorable Patriot

Could be part of the plan. The “news” industry does need to die, but its death will create a vacuum that will need to be filled. Look to see more of this happening.

A Fortiori

Agree. The MSM will not die unless and until there are real alternatives. But as with movies and other media, it is still a problem that distribution channels are tightly controlled.
Something probably needs to be done to deal with the fact that the portion of the spectrum that is allocated to broadcast TV offers only one (distorted) perspective.

Deplorable Patriot

Actually, books is the one place where the alternatives are thriving. Indie publishing online is now more profitable than the big houses in NYC.

A Fortiori

Yes. A friend of mine, in the process of talking up the virtues of “decluttering,” was trying to convince me of the virtues of tossing my books and relying on the internet for information. I just laughed.

Plain Jane

Oh yes.

daughnworks247

I wish you guys were here.
Cit was here all day digging holes in the front of our house at the street, repairing lines.
Plumbers were here at our house until about 9:30pm, when guy got an emergency call from his wife and had to go.
He told Big T, “You can do this”, as in cut the copper pipe and thread the pex, reconnect around a frozen valve.
I just about died.
Well, he did it.
Turned the water heater back on, still drawing air, lots of pipes, sputtering air, opened faucets. Gotta wait for the water to come.
Big T got scared and turned the whole thing off.
Guests due in about 35 minutes.

Alison

Oh Daughn 😔😔😔. You don’t deserve this owner/operator stress 😔😔😔. The hospitality business is most definitely 24/7 worries. Although I kinda chuckled about that plumber sounding like our VSGPDJT saying to Big T, “You can do this (and I won’t take no for an answer).”
If it’s any consolation, we spend more time fondly reminiscing about the B&B in Vermont where there was no hot water and they ran out of maple syrup – in Vermont!! – and I can’t even remember some of our inns where everything ran smoothly.
Hang in there. Sending you extra ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

michaelh
jamcooker

Can you get the water going first, then turn the water heater on?

cthulhu

I’m not sure if I understand your comment. Did it work, or didn’t it?
Incidentally, when you’ve done plumbing that drains significant amounts of the system, you have to let it all fill up before you can assess whether you’re dry and tight. This is even true with automobiles — if you drain your cooling system, you have to use a special funnel to overfill it and use a special drain plug to bleed off the air. Everyone has probably heard of bleeding brakes. Until you get all the air out, it won’t behave normally.

daughnworks247

This is crazy.
August 12th – Whistle blower goes to Intel IG about a “matter”.
Intel IG does prelim investigation (14days), decides it is “urgent”, reports to Acting DNI.
Adam Schiff claims he is supposed to be notified of what the problem is in 7 days.
Acting DNI does not report to Schiff, instead he goes to DOJ for advice and consultation.
Schiff blows a gasket, “Tell me, and tell me now.”
Acting DNI and Schiff have conversations but Schiff was not happy.
Schiff sends letter to Acting DNI which says, “We can only conclude it has something to do with the President and what he’s done wrong today – or maybe his staff did something wrong” – which is a bogus claim. So, report to me and my committee by Sept 17th or I will subpoena you for Sept 19h.
Acting DNI sends letter back, says it has nothing to do with “Intel” but an executive branch matter = none of your business = and contains sensitive info. Oh, and I’m not coming to testify – cuz I’m too busy on short notice.
Schiff is mad all over again.
Tonight – we get the following from WaPost.
According to FORMER WH officials, the whole “matter” has to do with a phone call the President made to a foreign leader, where the President made a “promise” which was so egregious, the whistleblower felt he had to report it.
WTHeck?
1. There is no way the FORMER WH officials could know this.
2. If they do know it, and it was leaked, where the HECK did the info come from and are they still spying on the President?
3. Normally, top secret clearances are left in place for former officials because they act within certain protocols. If the FORMER WH officials are going to do this kind of stuff, they need to have their clearances stripped.
Enough.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2019/09/report-trumps-communications-with-foreign-leader-are-part-of-whistleblower-complaint-that-prompted-standoff-between-acting-dni-and-congress/

cthulhu

A foreign ambassador had a credible claim that Schiff was invading the embassy’s kennel and screwing his dog after midnight. VSGPOTUSDJT personally assured the foreign leader that even though Schiff is a member of Congress, he would personally see that such perversions were halted. The assurance was picked up by FISA surveillance, edited, and leaked to Schiff’s committee……
This stuff has gotten to the point where it cannot even be parodied.

pgroup

That’s some low down dirty schiff. Get a rope.

ozzytrumpster

I’m thinking another leaker flushed out

para59r

They’re using the same m.o. they used to take down Flynn by going in early before McGuire gets himself established. Hit him with this whistle blower complaint that the ICIG marks as urgent and then hopes he complies with Congressional rules and turns it over to Schffity.
Best guess on what happened. Likely the call was monitored by the NSA. Likely the NSA monitor’s all calls the president makes and the president is likely aware. Done to learn information and to make sure any thing the president talks about or offers in the way of a free discussion between world leaders can latter be examined in order to fix any details that need to be taken care of as a result of the discussion. The president doesn’t have to be concerned about all the nuances of security while in a discussion with a world leader. He needs to be able to talk freely and frankly as he deems necessary. The NSA can help detect any breeches in security or the like and send them up the chain to the appropriate persons or agencies to modify the operational stance if need be. This is likely routine for them. The whistle blower aspect of this however is treasonous.
This was privileged communication and the Shiffty plan was to snowball McGuire into thinking some big breech of security happened and drop the whistle blower information in Schiffty’s lap. McGuire didn’t fall for it and thus the leak to the WP.
They obviously want to attach this to the slop wall hoping it sticks long enough in the uproar to start impeachment proceedings.
All that said, the ICIG is not a new kid on the block and may likely be complicit in this stupid gambit. He should of never marked the Whistle Blower charge as urgent or else is incredibly naive.

A Fortiori

I wonder if there is a Five Eyes angle to this story. The top Australian guy was just here, and recall that one of the first leaks after PDJT took office was a leak of a call with another top Australian guy.

Deplorable Patriot

If the matter happened before the officials left, they would know something about that, possibly. But the lack of details essentially say to the discerning reader this is much ado about nothing.

daughnworks247

Shem has a thread on this. Expect more of hit jobs to smear POTUS as we get closer to declassification and charges. Schiff has no say over the President’s interactions with foreign leaders – Executive office is responsible for foreign policy. Schiff getting nervous…
Another example of Pelosi’s “Wrap-up” smear. Leak some false story, let the media run it, and then use the media’s reporting on the story as “evidence” something happened.

Hmmm 🤔

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

1. There is no way the FORMER WH officials could know this.

Why is that? It’s not a claim that it was an official from the prior administration (that shall not be named before breakfast). There are plenty of people who worked in the Trump administration and no longer do; they are all former White House officials. They just had to be there when the incident happened–which, I am gathering, wasn’t yesterday.

daughnworks247

Okay, so……. like ………. Bolton?

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Who knows? Someone who’s so low down the totem pole we never hear about them, maybe.
Or…it could turn out that it’s made up since it is after all, an un-named source. My point being that using the word “former” isn’t evidence that they made it up totally out of whole cloth.

daughnworks247

Ohhh, looky here. Being reported right now, the Acting DNI is doing closed door testimony to Schiff’s committee.
Options:
1. The Wa Post is lying
2. The FORMER WH officials are lying
3. Schiff is lying.
4. The intel community is still illegally spying on the President of the USA.
5. Sounds like it might be a canary trap. Be careful what you wish for.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Tonight I watched the old James Bond movie “Thunderball” for the umpteenth time.  It had been a few years since I last saw it and I had recorded it on the DVR.
Anyway, I like to look stuff up on the computer and I noticed the call letters and numbers for the small helicopter that was used in the movie during the last half hour or so.  It was N1190W.
The movie Thunderball was released in 1965, meaning it was probably filmed in 1964.
Here’s what I turned up.  It seems the helicopter was wrecked beyond repair in 1977. Thankfully nobody died considering they are motorized rocks.
https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/126061
You can find all kinds of stuff about a particular aircraft simply by Googling the numbers.

cthulhu

Thunderball is a very interesting movie from a meta-perspective (as in — not dealing with acting, plot, locations, etc.).
Some screenwriters got together with Ian Fleming (the author of the Bond books) and brainstormed up a plot for a film. Ian Fleming wrote the novelization of the hypothetical film, then Eon Productions (Saltzman/Broccoli) made the movie, claiming that it was entirely sourced on Fleming’s book.
When the movie became a commercial success, the screenwriters sued for credit and other special behaviors…..which lead to the movie being remade nearly 20 years later outside the Saltzman/Broccoli franchise but starring Sean Connery as “Never Say Never Again”, despite the Eon Productions Bond being Roger Moore at the time — and despite Connery having sworn a dozen years prior that he would “never again” play the role.

andyocoregon

Hmmm, I don’t understand what you said about the “movie being remade nearly 20 years later outside the Saltzman/Broccoli franchise but starring Sean Connery as “Never Say Never Again”
The two movies are nothing alike, IMO.

cthulhu

It is a matter of legal record that “Thunderball” and “Never Say Never Again” are the same movie made by two different production companies a number of years apart and starring the same actor as James Bond……because EON owns the exclusive film rights to James Bond except with regard to their shenanigans with the guys who made NSNA. The guys making NSNA even entertained the thought of “going big” and expanding their production, and were told they had to keep it within the bounds of the original Thunderball concept.
The NSNA guys could make a Bond film so long as it was Thunderball. They couldn’t remake Goldfinger; they couldn’t remake Dr. No. NSNA had to be Thunderball, or it couldn’t be a Bond film.
There are different directors, the locations are different, the actors (other than Connery) are different, but it’s the same movie under law — not according to my personal impression of it. If they appear to be different movies to you, I should advise you attend several film studies and/or drama classes, as well as review the court records.

andyocoregon

Well, if you say they’re the same I won’t argue further since you seem dead set on it, but to me, they are two entirely different movies and I don’t need any “film studies and/or drama classes” to change my mind.
We’ll just have to agree to disagree.

michaelh

That’s exactly how I remember it. Some of the plot elements were reworked but the pattern is the same.
Thunderball: A pilot is replaced by a body double with major reconstructive surgery to gain access to da boms
NSNA: A military officer has major surgery to his eye to gain Presidential access to a secure area with da boms
Both movies there are 2 boms.
Thunderball: one bom stays in Carribean and has to be recovered there
NSNA: one bom ends up at a middle eastern location where Bond has to travel to recover it

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Heh…usually I’d not be aware it was two different companies doing the films, and simply think “these jerks can’t even think up a new plot line.”

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

As for the differences that ARE there, I would look at as them trying to file the serial numbers off.
I stopped watching the rebooted Star Trek franchise when the second movie just turned out to be Wrath of Khan all over again. And with Star Wars–our heroes go to blow up the big bad ship. They didn’t even follow the normal Hollywood progression for Episode I. They made it LESS big and LESS badass than the prior movies, and the hero Inspector-Clouseau-ed his way through to destroying it–displaying no heroism whatsoever. This is the sort of thing you’d do in a parody, not in a movie intended to continue a franchise.

Deplorable Patriot

What do you mean the two movies are nothing alike? They have exactly the same plot down to some character names. The only things that changed were the details.

andyocoregon

Well, everyone has one alright.

On that abortion trial from draw and strike
Remember when the @CtrMedProgress & @daviddaleiden Planned Parenthood videos first surfaced, what I said after I watched them?
Somebody who was **intimately familiar* with this human organ underground for-profit trafficking had to have coached these journalists how to do this.
mentions Daleiden and Merritt knew **exactly** who to approach with their hidden cameras, how to make the approach, what to say, the lingo, etc.
Somebody from **deep** within the other side must have flipped and coached them to prepare for this undercover sting.
mentions Whoever it was, they did such a fantastic job, a noted CA abortionist who was going to try to ‘expose’ Daleiden and @CtrMedProgress after the story broke, just ended up TESTIFYING IN THEIR DEFENSE at this trial.
The evidence accumulated is that damning.
mentions You can read about this amazing story here:
Abortionist testifies at Daleiden hearing: ‘No question…some of these fetuses were live births’
‘There’s no question in my mind that at least some of these fetuses were live births,’ the still-practicing abortionist testified.

His connections to top Democrats literally helping him get away with this TWICE before his THIRD attempt went awry when the victim managed to escape makes Ed Buck’s arrest something that a **real news media** would thoroughly explore.
ace.mu.nu/archives/38336…
“Now, prosecutors say a third man tried to escape from Buck’s home in September after being drugged. They claim Buck prevented the man from getting help.”
Here’s why Buck got arrested: Moore & Dean aren’t around to testify to what he did.
“Joe Doe” is.
“Sheriff’s investigators found hundreds of photographs in Buck’s home of men in compromising positions.”
No kidding? 🤔
Note the LA Times is quoting from what it describes as ‘court papers’.
Buck’s indictment, when it’s made public, should make for very interesting reading.
Buck got away with this because he could always claim the drugs were self administered by the deceased.
Now that “Joe Doe” survived, he can testify that Buck personally injected him.
In both the Moore & Dean cases, Buck could play distressed innocent bystander.
“The latest man found in Buck’s home, identified in court papers as Joe Doe, went to the apartment on Sept. 4, where Buck “personally and deliberately” administered a large dose of methamphetamine, prosecutors said.”
The distressed innocent bystander act won’t work here.
“He was high when he got here and I let him in.”
“I have no idea how much of any drug he had taken.”
“I’m a compassionate guy, I’m trying to help men down on their luck.”
Those were all lies.
He injected these men personally. He knew exactly how much he was giving them.
“He returned to Buck’s apartment a week later, on Sept. 11, when Buck again injected him with “two dangerously large” doses of methamphetamine, prosecutors said.”
So this guy survived and he’s told investigators that Buck injected him not just once, but TWICE.
“But this time, prosecutors say, Buck thwarted the man’s attempts to leave. The man eventually fled the apartment and called 911 from a gas station. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.”
I guess watching the guy die was part of the thrill for Buck.
““From his home, in a position of power, Buck manipulates his victims into participating in his sexual fetishes,” prosecutors wrote in court papers.”
Given the evidence found in the apartment & the living witness, the prosecutors are making some pretty serious claims here.

I wonder if there is a connection between the fact that the only source of many of the materials required to produce “today’s renewables” is China and the fact that these materials create massive disposal problems after “today’s renewables” reach the end of their useful life.

ozzytrumpster

Exactly. Win-win for China. We are paying to import expensive to dispose of poisonous crap

When I asked you if he was a gelding, you said, no (a gelding meaning castrated).
Odd that a stallion (intact balls) would be ‘gentle’ with any rider other than his owner.

patfrederick

well, I honestly never asked Mrs Farmer. but from seeing him in the fields, he has a lot going on down there…lol…so i assumed. but i don’t know him well enough to do a more thorough inspection…

😘 HOWDY Cowboy!
Good to hear from you. I did not know that you rode.

My recomendation for a pleasure saddle for a beginner (My Hubby) is an Aussie saddle.comment image
They come with or without a horn and really hold the rider in the saddle. Hubby, whose balance has never been good did a lot of trail riding in that saddle on my gentle Saddlebred mare. She took good care of him and would stop if his balance was off.
A couple of my friends had very gentle stallions. Ben was even used as a lead line horse for children in shows!
One of my ponies, my favorite, that I have used for a child’s mount for over 30 years, I suspect is a ridgeling (cryptorchid) I think that is why he was sold at age three.
However it is most likely that Joker is a gelding.

patfrederick

Cowboy did ask me that…but I didn’t ask…just kinda peeked when he was in the pasture–lol

Gail Combs

You have to be behind the horse (out of kicking distance) and watch when they swish their tail or drop manure.

They can also be seen from the side:
comment image
A heavily muscled neck is also indicative of a stallion or a horse that was gelded late. Most people do not keep a stalion unless he is of such high quality that he is stud material. They are just too much trouble and are NOT WELCOME on trail rides and other events. (A mare in heat is often the trouble maker not the stallion BTW.)

patfrederick

k…I will keep that in mind when i see him next!

Well isn’t that just precious, confessing to the plants.well I have one that will top even that.while kinda listening to the morning local news, only cause hubby watches every day due to his preoccupation with the local police blotter, which I can’t say to much about as I read the obits every thurs. But I digress .so out of the Portland news comes this doozy, there’s a website now where you can go to confess your environmental sins, such as 20 years ago while I was traveling with 3 children in my car I threw all my McDonald’s wrappers out the window on I5 near the cali border.or this is my favorite true one lol I stacked 4 cases of keystone beer cans in a pyramid and shot them full of holes and left them there in the woods.as I been saying for years we live in the twilight zone.but I’m having fun with this one .Oh and of course all confessions are anonymous 😂🤤

Cuppa Covfefe

Hope you did it on the Cali side of the border 🙂
Even some of the politicos over here are saying environmentalism has become a religion, complete with sins, confession, and, apparently, eternal penalties (in the form of CO² taxes, no doubt)…

wheatietoo

Corey is running for the Senate…in NH, I think.
And yeah, he’d make a great Senator!

ladypenquin

Democrats appear to elect a significant number of incompetent, amoral, and reelect some with dementia. So far, I don’t see any of that in the GOP – and that makes the difference. Dems elect lowlifes and eventually it catches up with them where they no longer appear able to return fire.
Of course, when you’re amoral, evil and corrupt, it’s difficult to fight back against honest, decent people.
The Truth has enemies, but cannot be defeated.

Deplorable Patriot

The GOP elects plenty of their own version of empty suit votes in Congress. Don’t kid yourself. One of my senators is one of them.

ladypenquin

True, empty suits in the Senate, but in the House, where the radical Dems are running a dog and pony show – their weirdos are in charge. I don’t think we have any House members as crazy as what they have.

Deplorable Patriot

No, we don’t. And they put them on display, too. That’s the unbelievable part.

wheatietoo

I haven’t heard about this…but I hope our VSG does slap them with an environmental violation.

The Democrats are trying to get AHEAD of theDemocrat Voter Fraud Story
Of the 27 recounts since 2000…
EVERY SINGLE ONE WENT IN THE DEMOCRATS FAVOR…
IIRC from OT voter fraud is only good for swinging ~5%. OVER 5% they can not get away with the fraud. We saw that in North Carolina.
Remember a few counties like Durham were not called until the morning of the next day. Attorney Chuck Kitchen told me that 20% of the counties in NC had MOAR VOTES than adult living in the county. Many ballots ONLY had Hitlery and NC Governor Roy Cooper(D) marked. Roy Cooper had been the State Attorney General BTW so any claims of voter fraud would have to go through HIS OFFICE!
The NC ballot was not arranged by party so it took quite some time to vote a straight Republican or straight Democrat ticket. I think this is why so many NC ballots ONLY had Hitlery and Cooper marked. If you are ballot box stuffing at the last minute, trying to check off all the Democrats would take forever and they just did not have the time.
….
What is interesting is that the fraud was caught. However thanks to The Consent Decree of 1982 which prohibited the RNC from investigating Democrat Election Fraud nothing could be done. With the ending of that Decree (the judge finally died) The GOP CAN go after voter fraud.
….
It is not just North Carolina that has a massive Voter Fraud problem:

Voter fraud is real:
Over 60% of Michigan counties had more registered voters than citizens
This same irregularity occurred in 76% of states and 15% of U.S. counties
Over 3.5 million reported suspicious or fraudulent registered voters reported in 2016 election
— Charlie Kirk (@charliekirk11) November 8, 2018

U.S. has 3.5 Million more registered voters than living adults

The Georgia Democrat, whose race for governor drew national attention, says she aims to enfranchise voters across 20 states with an initiative called Fair Fight 2020.
“There are only two things stopping us in 2020: making sure people have a reason to vote and that they have the right to vote,” Abrams said in announcing the initiative at the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades convention in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Lauren Groh-Wargo, chief executive of Fair Fight 2020, cited “unprecedented voter suppression mainly targeted at communities of color, but also at students and low-income folks across this country.
“Our Democratic presidential nominee, our U.S. Senate nominees and our down ballot Democrats next year are going to need unprecedented support ensuring that voters are able to cast their ballot without issue or incident,”

“Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams lost her 2018 gubernatorial bid to Republican Brian Kemp by nearly 55,000 votes, but she still refuses to concede. Instead, she claims the election was stolen from her.
Aug 19, 2019 Daily Caller: Abrams Explains Why She Still Isn’t Conceding Her 2018 Election

Failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams said she’s still refusing to concede her 2018 election defeat because doing so would be an admission that the “process was fair.”
“I run an organization that in 10 days, between election night and the night I refused to concede, we received more than 50,000 phone calls of people who were denied the right to vote,” Abrams, who lost her election in November 2018 by nearly 55,000 votes, said Monday on CBS. “I am complicit if I say that system is fair.”….
“I did not deny the legal sufficiency of the election. I am not claiming to be the governor of Georgia,” Abrams continued. “What I have said is that we won the battle of making sure more voices were heard because we had the highest record turnout in Georgia history for Democrats.”
….Abrams has maintained, without evidence, that Kemp maliciously leveraged his former position as Georgia Secretary of State to suppress minority and Democratic voters in order win the 2018 gubernatorial election.
Abrams said as recently as Sunday that voter suppression is worse today than it was in the 1960s, presumably speaking of the era before Jim Crow laws were repealed.
“Over the last 20 years, we have seen numerous laws propagated that have eroded your ability to [exercise the right to vote], especially if you’re in a marginalized community — a community of color or from a community that is seen as less valuable to the Republican Party,” Abrams said about voter ID laws, updates to voter rolls, and other basic election regulations.
Despite Abrams’s claims that votes were vehemently suppressed, 2018 election turnout in Georgia reached a record high.
During the 2018 contest, 3.9 million Georgians went to the polls. This was a massive increase from the 2.5 million votes cast in the preceding midterm election in 2014. In fact, 2018’s midterm election in Georgia came close to the 4.2 million votes cast in the 2016 presidential election — midterm cycles historically see far lower turnout than presidential election years….
Abrams recently announced the launch of a new initiative: Fair Fight 2020. Her organization aims to monitor the election process in numerous battleground states during the upcoming presidential election.

Kamala is still a California employee is she not? how does she travel to Iowa to campaign and get herself on the ballot if she’s not allowed to go to Iowa? (or does the state make an exception for her?)

wheatietoo

Is Iowa one of the states that California employees are supposed to be boycotting?
Is that what you’re asking about?
And yeah, I would imagine that the state would make an exception for her campaigning efforts.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Kamala is still a California employee is she not?

Nope, her paycheck as US Senator is cut by the US Government, not the State government. And the state of California can’t fire her (as if they ever would)–once elected, a Senator serves their term, though I think the other Senators could expel her (I’d have to go look that up). In fact, she even gets to raise her own salary (if she can get a majority of her coworkers to go along), subject to a limitation in the 27th Amendment Congress quickly found a way around.
The Framers thought that bit of independence from their states was crucial to having federalism work right. Unfortunately it removes a check between the state and federal layers that (IMHO) should probably have been left in place. If the senate is supposed to represent the state government in Congress (which is as it was before the 17th amendment), they should serve at the pleasure of that government.

patfrederick

thank you for the explanation Steve!

Ahhh, but a BACON TREE:
There are two Mexicans who have been lost in the desert for weeks, and they’re at death’s door.
As they stumble on, hoping for salvation in the form of an oasis or something similar they suddenly spy, through the heat haze, a tree off in the distance.
As they get closer they can see that the tree is draped with rasher upon rasher of bacon.
There’s smoked bacon, crispy bacon, life giving juicy nearly-raw bacon, all sorts.
“Hey, Pepe,” says the first bloke “Ees a bacon tree!!! We’re saved!!!”
“You’re right, amigo!” says Pepe. So Pepe goes on ahead and runs up to the tree, salivating at the prospect of food.
But as he gets to within five feet of the tree, there’s the sound of machine gun fire, and he is shot down in a hail of bullets.
His friend quickly drops down on the sand and calls across to the dying Pepe.
“Pepe!! Pepe!! Que pasa hombre?”
With his last dying breath Pepe calls out… “Ugh, run, amigo, run!!
Ees not a Bacon Tree!”

PRESSURES OF A GODLESS SOCIETY
Michael Youssef, Ph.D.
Sep 18, 2019
standing firm revelation culture
Like the church today, the church in Pergamum also endured intense social pressure to walk away from the Truth. On the outside, the church seemed to be following God’s commandments. Inwardly, they allowed the culture to weaken their courage. They began tolerating the customs of their pagan society. They permitted false teachings to infiltrate their church. They remained followers of Christ but chose to blend in with society instead of standing for His Truth.
While Jesus encourages them in their suffering, He admonishes them for tolerating what they know to be false doctrines and teachings: “I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives. Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, . . . [and] . . . the Nicolaitans” (Revelation 2:13-15).

The world’s opposition does not excuse us from speaking against the lies of our culture.
Jesus knew the Pergamum believers faced intense attacks because of their faith. He knew that Satan held a stronghold in their city. Jesus was aware of their situation, just as He is aware of everything that we face today. He knows it is not easy to feel the pressure of a godless society. Yet the world’s opposition does not excuse us from speaking against the lies of our culture. Jesus still expects us to stand up for His name and His Truth.
Prayer: God, no matter how difficult it may be, I pray that You would help me to unashamedly stand up for You. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
“However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name” (1 Peter 4:16)

I cant believe how prone to flooding Tx is. Seems like every big storm they get flooded.

wheatietoo

In the low-lying areas, yes…but it’s like that in the low-lying areas all along the Gulf coast.

🦋🦋bflyjesusgrl🦋🦋

They call Houston “Bayou City” for a reason, there’s lots of them. Water is supposed to enter the bayous and drain to the Gulf Coast. When we get storms coming from the Gulf, sea water pushes inland and prohibits drainage. Prolonged and large amounts of rainfall can cause bayous to overflow and flood surrounding areas. Over 25 years ago they mandated huge retention ponds be built next to all new commercial and residential construction, the idea being the ponds would collect water and alleviate runoff to bayous. That definitely helped some but couldn’t fix everything. We also have rivers to the east and west that are supposed to drain to the coast and swell when they can’t. I have friends who flooded a week after Harvey was long gone. For quick moving storms all is generally ok. Harvey hung around 5 days. Imelda is here for 4-5 days. She’s cremating the low lying coastal river dwelling people to the east right now.
On Sunday I checked weather and saw rain forecasted Tues-Fri. The first I heard it was a tropical storm was here, thanks Sadie! There was literally no warning🥴

I went on a cruise once, out of Galveston.
I was talking to a couple of old ladies who lived in Galveston. They found out where I was from and I made my standard jokes how different this was because in Colorado we don’t leave our water lying around on the ground like this, and who forgot to shut off the bathwater before going to work? So they told me where they lived. It turned out that sitting in the room on deck eight on a boat on the ocean, they were much higher in altitude than they would have been in their house.
And of course parts of New Orleans are actually below sea level.

One little known aspect of all the new technology put into our motor vehicles is the extent to which we are losing control over their operation. Most people don’t know that hackers can gain access to and control most vehicles sold in the US that have bluetooth capabilities. Then there is the fact that if you have a financial arrangement concerning the acquisition of your motor vehicle, and the paperwork with the finance company is not properly completed and recorded, the finance company can just shut you down:

And my mechanic gets upset with me for buying cars from the previous century…

Gail Combs

My mechanic ❤️‍ Loves ❤️‍ me because I give him a lot of business working on my old trucks, pay in cash and don’t hassle him if he takes a month to fix one of my old babies. (They now run better then they did when they were new.)
The key to owning old vehicles is to make sure you have a really good mechanic AND you have a spare vehicle so he has time to find the correct parts.
My vehicles are now old enogh that collecters are trying to buy them from me. 😋

A Fortiori

Another little known aspect of how changes in the automobile industry have changed our lives is the fact that nobody stocks parts for used cars anymore. They all have to come from a far away warehouse, meaning we all have to wait several days to get repair parts. So yes, I too recommending keeping at least one spare vehicle.
I honestly think this is another sign that there is a plan in place to force us to abandon internal combustion engines. Nobody wants to get stuck holding inventories of parts for vehicles that are banned, so parts are only purchased when they can be immediately resold.

jamcooker

I know a retired mechanic who doesn’t advocate buying any car built after ’04, I think he said. Any way, he thinks there’s too many computer driven parts on the newer cars.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

My issue is not with “computer driven” per se, but “remotely accessible” computer driven.
I was hearing grips about computers in cars long before ’04. In general, newer cars with features have more stuff that can break, everything from power windows and door locks…
And some people who CLAIM to be mechanics still pine for the days they could be a miracle worker by just dicking with the carburetor.

Gail Combs

WELLLLlllll considering the truck I am now driving HAS a carborator…. 🤣
(Hubby stole my diesel since his diesel is in the shop and his FORD is Found On Road Dead right now… As I said my mechanic loves me.)

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Actually, so does the Beast.
And I was surprised to realize my car has drum brakes on the rear.
I wasn’t slamming carburetors, just the so-called “mechanics” who could not cope with not having one.

A Fortiori

Steve — There are several good reasons why an experienced auto or truck mechanic would disdain computerized vehicle systems.
For one, they often fail to notify you of a problem before the problem matures to where it shuts down the vehicle. If my clutch throw out bearing is wearing out, I can hear it and shifting sometimes becomes “sticky” before it fails. If the crankshaft position sensor in a computerized car is wearing out, the first time I learn of this is when my vehicle won’t start because the engine computer is not getting a required signal.
But probably the main reason is that the mechanic finds themselves in a world where nothing is intuitive working on a computerized vehicle. With mechanical, electric and/or hydraulic systems, once you understand the basics of how the systems operate you can diagnose a myriad of problems simply by walking through the system from end to end. With computerized vehicles much of that disappears.
And then there is the fight about software. Independent repair shops have had to go through numerous battles with manufacturers seeking to keep the software necessary to repair and maintain their vehicles proprietary. They have had to turn into lobbyists, a process that many of them hated, in order to get consumer protection laws enacted to protect their survival. And then they had to pony up $12,000 to license the software. To put this number in perspective, you can buy everything else necessary to equip a small motor vehicle repair shop for well under $100,000.

jamcooker

My BIL had vehicles that had no computerized parts on them, they were both mechanical. He was old school, as he used to say. He was in the process of restoring a ’68 Chev PU, and now our son will be finishing it, when he has time. He talked to a buddy who’s a fabricator, and got some good advice from him. Don’t ask me about particulars, I’m almost totally ignorant about cars!!!

andyocoregon

Even used car dealers can install a device on the cars they sell and finance so if someone doesn’t pay their monthly payment on time, they can shut the engine off making it inoperable. Then the deadbeat purchaser has to go to the car lot, make the payment plus a late fee before it can be made operable again.

ozzytrumpster

And with self driving cars repossession is a snap

Jean Kaufman from Neo Neocon highly recommended this article, and she was right. It is longish but well worth reading (IMO).
I just want to repeat an observation I have made before about leftists/marxists/communists/progressives. Underneath the materialist philosophy, the “ethics,” the visionary “idealism” and the phony solidarity, is sadism, the desire to inflict suffering on others. Sadism, and nothing else.
Putting others into pain for enjoyment is the fundamental driving force. All else is justification for this remorseless and evil perversion.

Broken for me as well. When I scroll through comments there are quite a few that only show the poster and the likes but the body is empty.

thank you, holley !
me, too…I mentioned this the other day regarding the many posts made by duchess, in succession…all I saw was what you just described..
the responses I got were that it must be “on my end”…so…I cleared out all my caches & history, rebooted..but still have same problem…
another suggestion was that maybe I had “blocked” twitter…but…I have not done that…
so it’s still a mystery to me why this happens…
but at least it’s not just me.

singingsoul1

Sometimes I shut down my machine and then everything works for me. Hope you all figure out the problem.

holley100

It’s always nice to know it’s not just you 🙂 Started yesterday for me. I limit my online footprint and have no social media accounts excepting WordPress. Nothing has changed in my little corner of the internet, so I have no idea why this is now happening.

ladypenquin

I believe those are tweets you’re missing. Duck duck go did a security upgrade about two weeks ago, and after they did several of us could not see see embedded tweets or post them. MichaelH figured out what to do. Go to your Private Essentials setting, which for me was actually an icon on the URL line, right side of my header. Activate the “Site Privacy protection” – it’s likely not lit, so scroll over the icon and it will activate. DDG upgraded to a B+ security level and affected tweets. I believe it’s tweets you’re not seeing in those empty boxes.
Michael explained it better. But it should work if you find those details. 🙂

smiley2

hi…thanks for help…I just did all you said…but to no avail ! 🙁

Ok, I will work on this because I don’t like to miss posts. I learn a lot here. Thanks for the explanation LadyP. Much appreciated!

smiley, if you’re using DDG, it’s likely from their latest security upgrade. I responded to Holley in this convo. MichaelH knows the most, and figured it out. Worked for me after doing what he said.

smiley2

yes…and thanks…I’m seeing yr post…and I do use DDG (also Chrome)…and I just now did the site protection thing …both on and off…
but nothing changed here at wordpress site….same missing posts.
?????

smiley2

when I activate it, it says “removed from white list”…for this site…
is that what I want ??

smiley2

HEY ! I just now fixedit in DDG…
had to go further into the “whitelist” option…”manage whitelist”…and activated the “show embedded tweets”..
and that did it..
so…whoever it was yesterday who said I had “blocked tweets” WAS CORRECT…thru the DDG upgrade it must’ve happened..
so HOLLEY…do that…it might also help you…
DDG icon upper right
“manage whitelist” click
activate “show embedded tweets”
THANKS Lady P et al.

A Fortiori

Thanks folks for bringing this up; I too had this problem using DDG and have now fixed it based on this discussion.

ladypenquin

Right. Michael H explained it better than me. Something to do with that whitelist.

ladypenquin

It was a little different for me, but Michale mentioned both. Had th edarnest time even finding the Privacy essentials – it’s in two places, but only one is a live link to work with.

Gudthots

If you are using duckduckgo because of privacy concerns, you might want to check out Dissenter (browser) + Startpage.com (search engine). Seems to be a winning combo.
DDG has been flagged by some as maybe not being as privacy oriented as it advertises. (Not sure, just passing along what I’ve seen.)

I am learning about how marble is quarried in relation to learning about the US Capitol building to then teach to my children. Thought you, daughnworks247, as I am watching videos on youtube to preview, etc. Interesting topic and civics is so much fun and interesting to teach – esp. if one goes beyond the dry worksheets of stats, numbers and mechanics of gov. 4th-7th grade level so most I already know but things like this (marble) and video tours of the Capitol along with interesting tidbits of architecture, history and personalities are things I didn’t learn back in the day. So interesting!

MAGA Mom

I want to emphasize US marble (in context of the US Capitol building and US civics class) and these are the specific to the US videos I have come up with so far. Any other suggestions?

Gail Combs

FWIW, They used to mine PINK marble from Tuckahoe NY (a have some in my rock collection)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuckahoe_%28village%29,_New_York

Gudthots

That Colorado one in the middle was excellent. Loved learning that this is the mine for some of our Washington D.C. memorials.

Katie

My family did a tour of the Marble, CO mine in the early 80’s. Things were pretty quiet back then, and there wasn’t a lot of active mining happening. It’s very cold in the mine, and one thing I’ll never forget is that marble doesn’t get hot in the sun.
We were there on a warm sunny day, and you could touch pieces of marble laying around outside, and it was cool/cold to the touch. If you can take your children to a stone counter business, they keep slabs all over the place and they can touch the smooth, cool surface themselves.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Something they may or may not find interesting is the techniques people like the ancient Greeks used to assemble their temples, and–to some extent, though they used concrete often–the Romans their monuments, colosseums, and public baths as well. (I know less about medieval techniques for the cathedrals, but I imagine very similar.) Cranes that operated by human muscle power, lifting stone blocks weighing as much as eight tons.
For that matter when the Capitol was built, it had to have been done by human and animal power, as that was just at the time steam power was getting going in fixed locations (much less mobile).

Alison

Mom – IIRC all the marble for the Lincoln Memorial came from Marble, CO which is literally a few hairpin turns on a mountain pass 😊🇺🇸❤️ Even rode my bike there once!

I should have watched the video first! Love the Italian accents 😊. Did you notice the size of the chains on those tires? Holy cow!

DEMOCIDE – DEATH BY GOVERNMENT By Dr Rummel
An individual no matter how hard he tries can not come close to the amount of death a government can visit on its own people. Guns give people a fighting chance against government madness.
Why do the elite want to disarm the public? Because they wish to do something which they cannot do if citizens are armed. A government determined to remove a citizens right to own guns is planning to do things it citizens will violently object to.
Dr Rummel says that democracy is the solution. However thanks to rigged elections, democracy is just another tool used to control people.
As Joseph Stalin, murderer of millions, said:
“It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”
The critical freedom is the freedom to own weapons because the power hungry have a tendency to take over governments. Without weapons in the hands of citizens to defend themselves and oust these power hungry madmen you WILL end up with Democide.

When a person or persons is/are murdered, a crime has been committed against not just that person, but against each friend, co-worker, client/patient/etc. and most especially against each family member of the victim. Each person experiences a profound and life-long loss.
Why aren’t murderers charged with a crime for each and every person who can lay credible claim to loss as a result of said murder(s)??

Hes 18. No, not one single liberal in CA govt actually cares about these people.
https://twitter.com/SFDeplorable/status/1174396031234035712?s=20

LM

You know, it occurs to me. We can’t wait around hoping that the other side will care about them.
This is an opportunity.
WE can care about and do something for them
This is already happening, with the clean up of Maryland and the President’s visit to San Francisco.
Of, course my mind would go to a website with an acronym like CASCforce before the .com. (Cleanup America’s Shithole Cities……Maybe I need to repent for the name.) 🤔
But something (maybe nicer) like this would let us (the Deplorables) contribute to and show our love to the homeless, drug addicted displaced American veterans and lost generations living so hopelessly on our streets.

ForGodandCountry

Let me help everyone here understand something.
We are at war.
Re-read that.
We are at war.
The left is INTENTIONALLY CREATING these people. Why? Why would the left be intentionally creating this problem assuming we are at war (all save the kinetic fighting, for now)??
I’ll withhold the correct answer to allow others to answer first.

jamcooker

The same thing happened in the Opium Wars.

Deplorable Patriot

War drains resources, and treasure. It also effectively removes alpha males from the social order one way or another.
In the case of the street people/druggies, they are easier to control because of the addiction. So, keep them hooked using cash from the treasury that really belongs to the people. Profits then are transferred to the drug pipeline.
The disease epidemics involved – typhus, hep C, etc. – are deadly if left untreated. They WILL kill a lot of them.
I don’t want to believe it, that man could be this cruel toward other men, but it’s not like it hasn’t happened before, although maybe not with this MO.

singingsoul1

Deplorable Patriot yes diseases will kill many homeless people.
The diseases also can spread to other states therefore Californias created problem is all our problem.
The situation in California is a National problem and I hope the Federal Government steps in or quarantines California.

mollypitcher5

IMO they’re creating these people to weaken our young, fighting age young men and women too.
The explosion of lethal drugs (all kinds that are laced with potent addictives) from China routed through Mx is well known. I’ve known for 3 yrs since my son died. Our own elected officials HAVE to know but encourage the use with lax or no enforcement of drug laws, lax or no enforcement of laws involving theft.
The drug scene has taken on a boutique environment. Thousands of weed shops. Interstate road signs advertising all the great choices of products. Gummy candy, terrific CBD oil, vaping products with additions such as synthetic marijuana , again potentially lethal
https://nypost.com/2019/09/17/russian-roulette-investigation-finds-cbd-products-spiked-with-illegal-synthetic-marijuana/
They’re hoping to kill off libido of men & women with the constant degradation of natural sexual desires . Confuse the preteens…and if none of that works..go straight to making as many as possible zombies.
It’s not happening to the down and out losers only.
TYLER SKAGGS DEATH: DEA LAUNCHES PROBE INTO SOURCE OF DRUGS FOUND IN ANGELS PITCHER’S SYSTEM
An autopsy released in August found that the 27-year-old had fentanyl, oxycodone and ethanol in his system when he died. A medical examiner in Texas determined Skaggs choked to death on his own vomit while under the influence of alcohol and the powerful painkillers.
https://abc7.com/amp/sports/dea-launches-probe-into-tyler-skaggs-death/5552290/?__twitter_impression=true
I doubt seriously he nor his trainers had a prescription for fentanyl..so I’d guess they were street versions..synthetics which don’t leave the immediate footprint on a drug test. Additional methods have to be used to determine their presence.

gil00

Yes maam. Think about all thecweed shop signs along The freeways. My kiddo sees that. I called the county supervisor who said “First Amendment rights. ” Honestly. Then he retired 3 weeks later.

mollypitcher5

In certain parts of San Diego, like by the Flea Market area..huge signs..it’s all you see.
When I was driving back here from Tn..billboards across the country.
It’s gone way beyond legalizing pot

andyocoregon

Check out how many pot shops there are in Oregon….
https://www.oregon.gov/olcc/marijuana/Documents/Approved_Retail_Licenses.pdf

andyocoregon

There are many extremely potent mind numbing drugs on the streets these days and I agree, it’s not by accident. Many of the drugs are manufactured in China then smuggled here through Central America and Mexico.
Drug education is more important in schools than ever. We must reduce the demand for this poison.

andyocoregon

BTW, Molly, condolences for your son. May I assume he died from a drug overdose?

mollypitcher5

Thank you Andy. Yes. Drug overdose from a synthetic “vicadin” sent straight from China through USPS.
Truly i do thank PTrump for all he’s done to stop it.

andyocoregon

I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. That’s scary that some Chinese murderer can send a poison pill through the mail system, for that’s exactly what happened. It’s the same as the random food and drug tampering that was done a few decades ago that led to the tamper-proof packaging we have today. Several people died simply by innocently taking what they thought was Tylenol.

gil00

I am so sorry. Me with kiddo thinkibg about all this. Hes impulsive, but only 6. I hope he listens to me when I say all this stuff is poison. I show him people, plus the vagrants, and say this could be you. Ordering meds like that though, ugh.

andyocoregon

Scary to think many of our over-the-counter drugs are manufactured in China.
https://www.americanjobsalliance.com/news/where-your-drugs-come-90-many-common-drugs-made-china-fda-has-lost-control

mollypitcher5

For a few months after, I was a mad woman..contacting every Chinese person who left enticing “deals” on his phone texts. They disappeared after any contact from me.
A raw truth is that the lure of buying anything..anything at all, clouded his previously rational thinking. It was heartbreaking to understand, after the fact, that simply attempting to get around getting a prescription that would be on his employment record opened up this pandoras box . He truly didn’t believe that this crap manufactured by some kitchen lab in China would/could be laced with super addictive stuff..so dumb for a brilliant man.

andyocoregon

Your experience just goes to show how powerful these street drugs can be. If they can distort the thinking of a brilliant mind, those with lesser coping skills don’t stand a chance.
The problem with many of these drugs is they make you feel so good, at least in the beginning. Later, they ravage your body so badly you can’t stand being straight. At least, that’s what I’ve been told. I’ve never tried anything stronger than pot and that was way back in the early 70’s.

mollypitcher5

You’re spot on Andy. Addiction doesn’t take years. It can be incredibly fast. At first it’s a quick high, then it’s ‘let’s feel that again’ and soon ‘I gotta have that.
This a quote from one of Ed Buck’s victims…..“Ed Buck is the one to thank. He gave me my first injection of crystal meth it was very painful, but after all the troubles, I became addicted to the pain and fetish/fantasy.”
Shot up with meth in the most sensitive body part has to hurt like hell..but that high…unbelievable

MAGA Mom

I am so sorry for your loss. Unimaginable to me. I tell mine to never take the first pill/puff/smoke … Never even Try it. One never knows the path it will lead down until too late. Hope and pray little ears are listening.

gil00

Large part of the problem is that theyve designsted, taken, and spent multimillions already with nothing to show for it, except salaries over 100k and redevelopment zones. If they stop taking our taxes them we would have so much more to spend where we want to, instead of where we are forced to.

andyocoregon

Everyone wrings their hands and claims nothing can be done about these homeless drug abusers, but I say otherwise. YouTube has many, probably thousands of videos of animal rescue stories by groups such as Hope for Paws and others. When called by concerned citizens, they go out and catch or trap the poor, usually sick homeless dog and bring it to a vet hospital, bathe it and feed it regularly until it recovers into a happy, healthy animal. In most of those cases, the dogs will at first run from their rescuers and some even try to bite. In other words, they want to be left alone, no matter how hopeless their situation is. It requires forced rehabilitation to get them healthy again.
I think a lot of homeless people are like those poor, suffering animals. They don’t want assistance getting off the streets and will fight every attempt to remove them and take them to drug rehab shelters. IMO, when someone is a danger to themselves or others, like the young man in the video above, they should be forced into drug rehab and later placed into long term, secure living facilities where they have no access to drugs or alcohol. When they break laws of illegal camping, illegal drug use, theft, creating biological hazards, etc, they should be sentenced to rehab, not traditional jails.
Cities spend millions of dollars per year on the homeless and the problems are only getting worse. For example, the City of Portland is projected to spend a record $31 million on the homeless this year alone. Where is all that money going? And why are there more homeless than ever?

gil00

We agree. At this point, everyone can get a 51/50 if they are addicts/alcoholics/mental. Force a proper COMPLETE triage. Then bulldoze ALL the vagrant camps, no matter what, due to the biohazard .

mollypitcher5

A side note about all this is the drive to mainstream and normalize homelessness. The descriptions are sanitized to avoid negative stigma…lol..as if it isn’t negative.
They’re promoting living in pipes outfitted as a “home”. Teeny pods, communal living. Various sporting goods stores (REI and Walmart I know of) donating camping gear…not really to help but to stabilize life on the streets. No encouragement to get straight and have normal healthy goals to live healthy and happy.

LM

Moly, I am so sorry to hear about your son. It is heartbreaking.
I love the President for actually doing something about the illegal drugs and for securing the borders.
I feel that the left enables drug use in many ways and if kids don’t get them illegally they are often prescribed dangerous drugs by the medical (psychiatric) profession.
I think we reach out in whatever way we can to support one another, support our President and let him know how we feel, and act in love towards those who are suffering on our streets.
The pipes that are apartments are so great. Anything that provides sanitary living conditions and a certain level of autonomy might help instill a bit of self respect and the beginning of healing.
❤️

mollypitcher5

Appreciate that LM. Thank you

Every time i’m At Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc and see all those storage sheds I visualize how they could be made into tiny homes, especially if you could use two together…one side for bath and kitchen and the other for bedroom and living space.
Having said that, from my own Peace Corps/community development days I also know that simply providing shelter is doomed to fail…as ludicrous as it may seem, people have to be taught how to live in regular situations…using the toilets, for example. Additionally, unless they have a “vested interest” (payment in some form) they will not value it nor take care of it.

Gail Combs

This why the old County Homes back in the 1950s WORKED!
The homeless were taken to a county home/farm. They were given room and board but in return they had to WORK at the farm doing what every they could. They grew their own food, milked the cows, made cheese, made crafts and sold stuff to defray the cost. My Mom and other women volunteered. Mom taught arts and crafts, some women taught sewing cooking, some of the men taught crafts…
Then the LEFT decided it was HUMILIATING for these people to WORK and the county had to hire help. Then the LEFT decided you couldn’t place people in a home or mental institution for vagrancy or acting crazy….
So now we have a major homeless problem THANKS TO THE LEFT!
It is time to haul out these newer laws and LOOK at the results and rescind them if they DO NOT WORK or MAKE MATTERS WORSE.

jamcooker

People learning and from that gaining self esteem.

LM

What your mom and others did, if practiced now, would heal many of our hurting young people as well as the homeless. It is good, wholesome, common sense mixed with compassion.
So much better than meds.

LM

I wonder if the tiny homes could be held out as a reward for completing rehab and cooperating with continuing treatment.
I.e. social worker involved, goal setting, and compliance with hygiene, medical care, staying clean, some kind of work….
I guess each case would have to be looked at individually because some of the homeless are mentally ill, some just down on their luck, some addicted…but the tiny home idea seems like it might offer some hope to them as a way to build self respect if it were properly done.
Offering shelter seems like such a small thing, but so significant.

What also is incontestable is that God is in control and His grace is sufficient . . . no matter how dismal the outlook.

Mother Miriam was exactly right as she tore apart that letter, practically line by line.
She used basic applied common sense, pointing out plain truth, and she had the COURAGE to do it, point by point, pulling NO punches. 👍

I received this email from the Yang 2020 campaign. I just don’t understand how it could possibly be legal to promise a $1,000 per month dividend in return for votes. Talk about quid pro quo, that’s crazy. I always thought promising anything of value in return for votes is illegal.

This is……disheartening?
“Attorney General Barr is Downright Lying to Senators
The Daily Caller has released a memo being circulated by Attorney General William Barr to coerce weak-kneed Republican Senators into passing gun control.
He’s bringing the Toomey-Manchin Universal Background Check and Registration Bill back from the dead after Republicans defeated it in 2013.
What’s different this time? Barr is lying to Senators about what this new bill would do.
Here’s the truth: under this bill, virtually every single gun owner would have a Form 4473 or an indistinguishable “Bill of Sale / Chain of Title” for your firearm.
And given that ATF is already illegitimately scanning 4473 forms into a national registry — as seen here and here — this will only exacerbate an existing problem.
We need your help cutting through Barr’s lies and getting the truth out to Republican Senators before they take our country down a dangerous road where Americans like YOU are added to a government registry for exercising our constitutional rights.”
https://gunowners.org/alert09192019/

scott467

I signed the petition about 5 minutes ago, and it’s still saying “There are a lot of people taking action on this campaign — we’ll be with you in just a moment…”, so hopefully Americans are melting down Barr’s email server as we speak.
It’s an incredible thing, really.
It seems that even if good men WROTE the Constitution TODAY, the instant they become PART of government, they would be doing everything in their power to attack it.
Power corrupts.
Apparently immediately.
I mean, literally, there can be no valid excuse for championing a bill supposedly created by Manchin and Toomey.
It may as well have been sponsored by and Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins.
If Barr is pushing this erosion of the 2nd Amendment, then he’s no ‘white hat’, regardless of any other ‘good’ he may be doing at the behest of DJT.

NebraskaFilly

Gun Owners of America is pretty reputable. I have to believe they know what they are talking about.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

OK – I am going to take an interesting position here. I think Barr is right, and I think Trump is right, and I think that GOA is right, but we need some WOLF HONESTY HERE to see this correctly.
So let’s begin.
First, remember – GOA’s job is to be GRUMPY CAT and say NO to everything until all they do is grumble and say “WE DON’T LIKE IT” without BITING. So they are doing the right thing.
Trump is saying WHOA NELLIE which is the right thing, too. The bump stock fix was the RIGHT NUANCE in defusing Obama’s bomb – let’s have THE SAME OR BETTER HERE in defusing Comey’s bomb. And why do we have to do ANYTHING? Because……
Barr is saying WATCH OUT which is CORRECT, and he is doing the right thing saying to FIND SOMETHING WE ALL CAN AGREE ON.
Even though this is a STUPID issue with a STUPID solution proffered by DEMS and DUPES, there is the possibility for Republicans to PROVE that they are finding ways to make the world BETTER – and NOT by falling for progressive traps. We have to come up with our own bill which is not a DUPE PRESSURE BILL.
We need our OWN SOLUTION TO REAL PROBLEMS – not FAKE PROBLEMS.
Scrap all these prior bills. Manchin and Toomey just get a nod for saying look at things, but NO MORE.
Here is what a REAL background check bill should do.
(1) JUVENILE RECORDS ON VIOLENCE ARE NOW IN THE NICS CHECK.
This is huge. Make THAT part of what we are calling “new” background checks. And if we don’t get it, we BLAME IT ON THE DEMOCRATS. This is now the CENTERPIECE. This is REAL stuff and it is BIG.
Yeah, people can get out of a juvenile NICS nix, but they have to have a hearing, which appeals to the RED FLAG LUST of the left, but is just sensible stuff we know they should do anyway.
(2) “FIX NICS” – DATA GATHERING from ALL SOURCES THAT SHOULD OR COULD provide data but are missing are now a big priority. Consider the following:
– FBI going out and proactively combing for all the data that SHOULD be in the system that’s MISSING – like that Air Force shooter in Texas, etc. Put some FACES on what is going to be fixed, too, to make the point that we have SWISS CHEESE HOLES in NICS, and there is MORE PAYOFF FIXING THOSE than there is on the “gun show loophole”. And I mean PROVE THAT WITH NUMBERS, because it has to be easy.
– FOREIGN criminal data being looked at. Of course, this is a HUGE GOUGE OF DEMOCRAT EYES, and we make no bones about it. They want to bring in illegals, we SHAME AND BLAME with our own gun bill that they will hate and we will love. MAKE BACKGROUND CHECKS WORK HARDER ON ILLEGALS.
(3) REVISED BARR SUGGESTION – VOLUNTARY NICS AVAILABILITY TO PRIVATE SELLERS AS A GUARANTEE OF LEGAL IMMUNITY FOR SALE
Look – let’s be totally honest. The FBI keeps records of all these NICS checks. They KNOW somebody is buying a gun. They just don’t know more than the check if that’s all there is. But THAT is useful and usable after-the-fact knowledge.
Let’s be honest about something else. We DO NOT want family and friend sales and trades and inheritances tracked. That is bullshit, and not tolerable. BUT it might be nice if I could actually validate some hillbilly nephew as OK for a sale – to say nothing of his SKETCHY WINGMAN – AND be immune for selling to them. The “Barr-shopped” bill does offer me that assurance, and I like it.
Let’s be honest about ANOTHER thing. A lot of gun buyers like to buy stuff “off paper”, and a lot of sellers like to sell “off paper”. Interestingly, these are usually “good guy to good guy” sales. Dems don’t LIKE that for only one reason – it preserves the Second Amendment.
Let me ask a question – what is “advertising”? Is it simply SHOWING a personally owned gun in public, like at a gun show? Is it OFFERING a gun to a looking buyer at a gun show? I see all kinds of trouble and harassment here.
You know what I think? I think that Democrats want to KILL GUN SHOWS. They don’t REALLY want to just make sure that every sale goes through NICS. That is not THEIR agenda. But that should be OUR AGENDA.
Our agenda should be that ANYBODY IN THE BUSINESS, AND ANY PRIVATE CITIZEN WHO WANTS IT, *CAN* (doesn’t HAVE to, but CAN) CHECK OUT THE BUYER USING NICS. And then is absolved of responsibility if they do.
So I see what the Barr-shopped bill is trying to do, but I think that it is TOO POSITIVE to the gun control agenda and is NOT SOLVING REAL PROBLEMS – meaning increase the societal and individual safety of private sales.
So what I would ask them to do is take that Barr proposal and rework it to HONEY and not VINEGAR. Ask WHAT WILL NOT COERCE, BUT INSTEAD DRAW IN GUN OWNERS? Figure out would allow ME AND A BUYER to quickly perform a transfer – IF WE WANTED – that would give no information to the state, other than that we were thinking about a sale, and it would give ME legal protection. So that I KNOW that this person is AOK. So that I am ABSOLVED IN ADVANCE. And the EVENT of a CHECK (and only the check) IS RECORDED – in case there is any legal issue. And *I* can keep any records of the sale that *I* want to.
Go back to the drawing board. Something that ONLY MAKES GOA grumble, and actually helps gun owners – first by protecting our reputations, secondly by attacking real problems (not Democrat sneaky attack points), and thirdly by attacking DEMOCRAT LOOPHOLES like foreign criminals.
Make the Barr offering a POSITIVE for gun owners. I think it can be done.

NebraskaFilly

Well, I expected a fulsome response from you and, once again, you do not disappoint! I like the ideas you present and admittedly have not read this bill myself – the language of these insanely long bills is far too archaic for me. This will be another wait and see situation for me. ” I like the ideas you present and admittedly have not read this bill myself – the language of these insanely long bills is far too archaic for me.”
______________
That’s a sign right there that it should NEVER be passed.
ANY ‘law’ whose violation may end up costing your freedom or substantial financial penalty MUST be written such that anyone with an average IQ can understand it, or else you’re just setting people up for entrapment.
Which is NOT the purpose of Law.
This is the problem with EVERYTHING in our ‘legal system’, you have to be a LAWYER to understand ANY of it.
Does even ONE single person think that was the design or intent of our Founding Fathers, that we should be subject to literally HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of codes, statutes, legislation and laws?
Or that it would require a law degree to even understand what any of them actually mean?
Before the legal pharisees came along, the Common Law worked just fine. Comparatively simple to understand.
The ‘legal’ system is designed for commerce and corporations. People are NOT commerce OR corporations, but government TREATS us all as if we WERE corporations, because that is how they gain CONTROL over us.
We’re just fighting over how MUCH control they should have, when we SHOULD be fighting to throw off their lawless attempts at control ALTOGETHER.

NebraskaFilly

In 1871, the US became a Corporation and WE became nothing but collateral against the Corporation’s international debt.

scott467

“Our agenda should be that ANYBODY IN THE BUSINESS, AND ANY PRIVATE CITIZEN WHO WANTS IT, *CAN* (doesn’t HAVE to, but CAN) CHECK OUT THE BUYER USING NICS. And then is absolved of responsibility if they do.”
________________
Shouldn’t we be absolved of any responsibility regardless?
If you are of legal age, and not noticeably impaired by drugs or alcohol, and I sell you a car, and you run over 15 people on the way home, am I responsible?
I can’t possibly be.
The property became yours at the moment of sale, and what you do with your property is your business and your responsibility, not mine.
How is a firearm any different?
Personal property rights are the foundation of our entire system. The right to own property and the right to contract. And the right to keep and bear arms is specifically written into the Constitution.
So what room does that leave for the government to get itself involved, in any way?

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I will leave that to the courts to decide, but I think that the common law does not necessarily absolve us of responsibility (you mentioned it – the property is our responsibility) for acts of commission or omission which may be legal in and of themselves, but are negligent depending on specifics of the circumstance.
Yes, I believe in individual responsibility. But it is STILL responsibility when you DISPOSE OF A GUN as well as when you CARRY, USE or STORE the gun.
You mention a CAR and sale to a drunk or otherwise impaired person.
I think there are many people I would NOT sell a gun to, for my own reasons of morality. The law – and even NICS – might excuse me for selling to some legal buyers, but I would NOT sell to them, personally.
I see your point at one extreme – but I personally just don’t like selling a gun to an unknown person, and even more, somebody who I suspect of being less than “standard issue”.
This is why I think that “private NICS” could actually pave the way to MORE private sales, if it’s not too intrusive.

scott467

“I see your point at one extreme – ”
_______________
I make the extreme point because that is where freedom is most hotly contested. If we stand on any other point along the continuum, are we not simply ceding ground before the fight even begins?
.
“…but I personally just don’t like selling a gun to an unknown person, and even more, somebody who I suspect of being less than “standard issue”.
________________
Which is well and good, and I would agree with your assessment and do likewise, BUT that is a personal decision for each individual to make — as you stated, i.e., ‘personally’ — not a decision for the government to make for us.
.
“This is why I think that “private NICS” could actually pave the way to MORE private sales, if it’s not too intrusive.”
_______________
It might, but here’s what happens, even if it is (BIG air quotes) “voluntary”. In a hyper-litigious society (and none is more so than ours), it won’t really be “voluntary”, it will become the de facto requirement for everyone BUT criminals, because every law abiding American will practice CYA.
Which means every law abiding American will have his guns in the lawless registry you mentioned, which the ATF is lawlessly keeping, ripe for confiscation, whenever the government deems the moment for that action is ‘right’.
This is always the problem, the LAW only applies to those who would follow it (i.e., law abiding citizens), it won’t inhibit criminals at all… and every such LAW only gives more information (which equals more power) to the government.
The government is already a 70 million pound gorilla, grazing on our rights like it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet.
We are so deep in the hole, the government already has SO MUCH power and control over us already, that I don’t see how it is possible to justify ceding another inch.
We should be taking back our freedom in giant chunks, not giving away what little we have left…

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I’ll answer this “Scott-style”:
“Which means every law abiding American will have his guns in the lawless registry you mentioned, which the ATF is lawlessly keeping, ripe for confiscation, whenever the government deems the moment for that action is ‘right’.
*****************
Not if it’s done the way I suggested. Re-read what I’m suggesting. NICS only answers one question – IS THIS PERSON ALLOWED TO BUY A GUY?
The information submitted to it, theoretically, is at a minimum “who is being asked about?”, and more likely, “who is being asked about, and who wants to know?” Although if this is performed by valid FFLs, then “who is being asked about, who is asking, and where is this being asked?” But it doesn’t have to be that much.
There is a lot of room in there for “no guns in a registry”. Yet there is enough for legitimate law enforcement to work a case after the fact.

This was written in Jan 2019 and the questions are even louder now.
https://www.out.com/news-opinion/2019/1/09/ed-buck-death-west-hollywood-jasmyne-cannick
The death of yet another Black man in the West Hollywood home of LGBTQ activist and prominent Democratic donor Ed Buck is on the hands of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department and District Attorney because it didn’t have to happen. Ed Buck should have been behind bars for the death of the first man who died in his house of an overdose.
Buck has since been accused by numerous young Black gay men of being a sexual predator, kidnapping, forced drug use, injecting them while unconscious with crystal meth, filing false police reports to cover his crimes, coercion, and pimping and pandering by multiple victims.
For two years we worked to bring forth witness after witness who told authorities about Ed Buck and how he uses the internet to stalk and prey on young, Black gay men who are usually homeless, HIV-positive, and often work as male escorts.
No one listened to them.

scott467

“This was written in Jan 2019 and the questions are even louder now.”
________________
The answers are both obvious and simple.
The perpetrator is a big Democrat donor, and the government is run by the people who take his bribes donations.
When you are a big Democrat donor, you get to rape and murder up to TWO gay black men in California.
The first gay black man that any big Democrat donor rapes and murders is a ‘freebie’.
The SECOND gay black man that any big Democrat donor rapes and murders will be considered poor taste and require a lot more hush money donations.
But raping and murdering THREE gay black men is a bridge too far, even in California.
They have their limits, you know.
If you are a bid Democrat donor, the limit on raping and murdering gay black men is the same number as it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie-Pop.
Three.

Thinking about all the many times ppl tagged Ted Leiu and Adam Schiff in texts through the last couple years and they never really condemned Buck or recommended further inquiry into what can only be thought of as a serial killer….makes me doubt that he’ll live to face the charges. I’d be willing to bet he knows some hush-hush secrets

gil00

Look at the pic from Buck’s arraignment. Hes been using meth pretty heavy compared to a year or 2 ago. He is also wearing an laso official straight jacket.comment image

mollypitcher5

Yeah he looks rugged. No meth for him will be rough going for awhile which also means he’s in a vulnerable state *if* he might be inclined to or knows any dirt on pols. Hope he’s under watch, not because I care about his life, I don’t but it’s getting to be a regular thing people being snuffed

I say: ED BUCK will be “Epsteinized” before he can even go to trial. He knows too much about the CLINTONS (and perhaps some “others”).

scott467

Apparently the Democrats’ new ‘anti-lynching law’ doesn’t apply to prisoners who could expose them.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Of course not.
Because if they got exposed, they’d get lynched. Lynching people who could expose them actually prevents lynching.
Therefore, by being willing to ignore lynching, they are anti-lynching.

“SACRAMENTO — A California-based federal judge said today he intends to issue a preliminary injunction suspending a new state law that would require Donald Trump and other candidates to release their tax returns to appear on primary ballots.
Plaintiffs representing Trump, his presidential campaign and the California Republican Party sued almost immediately to block California’s law, saying it was an unconstitutional infringement. Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, signed Senate Bill 27 into law in July.”

I was just reading an article OT when SD said this:
“CTH has often said ‘everything is about the economics’, because it is. Ask the ‘why’ question five times to any issue and you will find the root issue is money. Power, greed and control, it is all about the money and the economics.”
_________________
It’s a great point.
And so I have a question.
I’ll ask it five times:
………………………….
1. Why did SD ban so many members of CTH last September?
2. Why did SD ban so many members of CTH last September?
3. Why did SD ban so many members of CTH last September?
4. Why did SD ban so many members of CTH last September?
5. Why did SD ban so many members of CTH last September?
………………………..
Ask the ‘why’ question five times to any issue and you will find the root issue is money.” — Sundance
So then, do we have our answer?

In preparation for the birthday thread, I went back to July 25th, 2018, where SD took a post of mine (30 hours at Trump Speed) and combined it with Wolfie’s Roller Coast thread at the end.
SD put the two of us together.
Weird, eh?
We’re both here, now.
Until then, we were the only two SD made threads for. Wolfie’s was famous, I was flat out shocked when my notifications started blowing up.
But……..
I looked back at who commented on that thread……….. so many of you are here.
We were loyal. None of it makes sense. For months, Big T was convinced poor SD was going through a bad divorce and the bitter wife took over the thread. It changed overnight.
Something happened. Something big. It’s okay if we don’t know what it was. We’re happy, and we’re together.
Thanks, Wolfie.

FedEx says one of its pilots was detained in China after an item was found in his luggage before he boarded a commercial flight.
The company said Thursday the pilot was later released, and it is working with Chinese authorities to understand what happened at the airport in Guangzhou, in southern China.
The Wall Street Journal reported that former U.S.Air Force pilot Todd A. Hohn was detained on Sept. 12 after pellets used in replica air guns were found in his checked bag. The paper cited people familiar with the incident.
The newspaper said Chinese authorities allege that Hohn was illegally carrying ammunition, and they have started a criminal investigation.
“We are working with the appropriate authorities to gain a better understanding of the facts,” a FedEx spokeswoman said in a statement sent to The Associated Press.
FedEx said the pilot was later released, although the company spokeswoman said she did not know where he is now. The Journal reported that Hohn was moved to a hotel and told that he can’t leave mainland China until the investigation is over.
FedEx declined to comment further. It would not say whether the incident has affected its schedule in Asia.
