We are now in completely uncharted territory as our very own President Donald J. Trump is forced to cancel live, in person campaign rallies, uh, protests against stupidity due to testing positive for the Wuhan Flu.
This evening he was supposed to be in Florida, and that just is not going to happen.
So, the rally will be virtual.
How exactly this is going to work is not quite clear as of this writing. Supposedly, it will be a sign up event via the Trump Campaign event website. When the link is available, I will add it.

TY–KEPR our local news station has been taken over by the most hateful people and their comments. Every time KEPR gives and update of some sort the comments get worse.
It is almost like a whole slew of demons have come forth.
Remember this is NE Oregon and SE Washington, which has been and usually is Trump territory

Being a Musician…. I prefer the “Live” version(s)
What kind of musician are you? My husband is a bass player in mostly Christian Rock/Blues & church worship bands. He also taught himself drums, along w/ the bass, & used to play saxophone. Our daughter is a self-taught singer/songwriter & guitarist & ukuleleist. My mom had perfect pitch & has played piano since age 4. We’re all musical to some degree but those are the ones who are dedicated!
I Play Bass and Rhythm Guitar mostly…. dabble with keyboards. Pretty self taught on those. I played Trumpet and Trombone (really most any Brass instrument) in high school. I played Bass at church for 7 yrs.
My husband was a marching band nerd in HS for a while. He was teaching himself keys & guitar but he Really loves basses!. I use his computer in his music room & usually have his basses on 2 sides.
I try to be in here when he practices. He’s been playing at church for 15-16 years & just a little less in various bands.
Do you still play much? His current band Finally had a gig this past Sat in conjunction w/ the DC Christian gathering. They called it Unity Fest & hope for it to be an annual event!
Only play occasionally now. Get together with friends or just me in the garage from time to time.
My husband loves it so much it’s one of his favorite things to do. Learning some new bass riffs & blues skills was helping him keep sane during the lockdown here in Michigan!
Playing Music is as medicinal as laughter.
I’m sure he’d agree with that. He’s trying to flip his internal switch into hunting mode now that deer season has begun up here 😉

Now you are definitely on my husband’s wavelength. He was born in Colorado but grew up in OK. He moved to MI w/me after we married. He has a rough time w/ MI winters & hates being cold. Me on the other hand hates being hot & really hated the OK weather (where I lived for 10 years) 🙂
I prefer 70+ degrees
I can deal with that temp but Honey prefers the 80’s…a decade we both grew up in & got the bulk of our higher ed in too 🙂
I also prefer 80 – 90 temps.
I can tolerate to the mid 80’s, if there’s a breeze or water nearby. 90’s, not so much. My husband will hardly get in the lake Up North & rarely will swim. The last few times we’ve gone to Lake Michigan, which is usually pretty cold, he hasn’t gotten in except to grab a football or frisbee if someone misses during some beach games.
By the way, are you, perchance, on Facebook? If so, he would be willing to interface. (I’m not on FB &) he has quite a few musician “friends”, most of whom are Believers 🙂

Me neither & it’s not ever gonna be my thing! My husband uses it like short attention span theater to quickly scroll by crap & stop at something interesting. I like details & ideas, not having to deal with someone’s meal pics or tales of diapering (unless someone at the Q-Tree feels like expounding)!
In High school….. I marched in the Rose Parade one time and in the “Pep” band at ball games when not playing in the game myself.
That is Awesome! It’s been a while since U of M (Michigan) has been to the Rose Bowl, sadly!

Were you there with that spotted owl disaster putting all the lumbermen out of business? I have a vague recollection of some of that stuff from my youth…At my cousin’s wedding in Arkansas almost 30 years ago I was trying to tell my family about my then boyfriend, who’s now my husband, & no one would pay me any attention.
