It is God Who ultimately rules the affairs of men
“Seven times shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.” (Daniel 4:25b)
If one thing is clear in Daniel’s account of God’s holy dealings with Nebuchadnezzar, it is that ultimately, and in the final analysis, it is God who rules the affairs of nations. As it is written: ‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers, and the sentence by the word of the holy ones, in order that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, gives it to whomever He will, and sets over it the lowest of men.’ (Daniel 4:17)
So too writes the Psalmist: For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another. (Psalms 75:6-7)
Jesus emphasized the same truth before the Roman ruler and governor, Pontius Pilate, when He said:“You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above.” (John 19:11)
It is therefore abundantly clear that the Lord, Who has all power in heaven and on earth, holds the key to who in the end will rule the affairs of any given nation, especially where it concerns His people Israel.
There is a deep lesson and truth in the story of Nebuchadnezzar: He who exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself shall be exalted. That truth still holds universally true.
As Jesus said:For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. (Luke 14:11)
It is a very dangerous place for any person to be in. How much more so for a ruler who has been positioned by God to govern His own people to be at loggerheads with God in the fulfillment of that task?
By far the worst place for any earthly ruler to be in is one where he (or she) tries to know better than the God who positioned him (or her). For in the end it is He Who will take charge and put rulers down or humble them if they choose to remain on a collision course with God Almighty.
It is a wonderful assurance that whatever calamities and disasters may happen on earth, in the final analysis God has everything under His control! This is the clear teaching of the Word of God, assuring all who truly believe and want to go with the Lord that He is in control and that He has all power in heaven and in the earth.
It is for this very reason, precisely because this is so, that we, His children, those who truly believe in Him and in His power, can and should continually pray: “Father, let Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory.”

How Obama has fallen! He was “the messiah” who was going to heal race relations. He drew the crowds. If you disagreed with him, you were raycisss. I think O’s hands are tied. He can’t say too much or be too public because he is in great danger if the truth about him comes out. His time in the spotlight has passed and he is no longer protected by the office of the presidency or by the adulation of so many people. I know he continues to work behind the scenes to take down this country, but he has fallen off his pedestal into a ditch, LOL.
Pres. Trump, on the other hand, will be beloved forever because he stands for lasting principles and values and he truly loves this country and fights for us. It is highly significant that Pres. Trump is the first candidate for president whom crowds openly say they love. And increasing numbers of people recognize that he keeps his promises.
It is also interesting that the theories about Dems substituting Hlilary or Michelle for Biden didn’t come to pass. They stuck with him at least through the voting process. They continue to make major mistakes, and that is an answer to the prayers of many.

(1) I actually filed my first couple of personal tax returns on a fiscal year. I had taken advanced tax before I had made any money or filed taxes, and reasoned that I was bound to make partner in a CPA firm, and that would give me (a) freedom from my tax timing conflicting with my clients’; and (b) it would float half my partnership income ahead into the the next fiscal year. Turns out, however, that it utterly sucks for people on W-2’s because it puts their income in the year earned but allows their withholding in the year the W-2 is issued. Fortunately, it’s easy to adjust. And over the next couple of decades of what I ended-up actually doing, it would have never been worth the hassle to maintain. Still, it was an interesting exercise.
(2) Was it Marshall Cthuluhan who said, “the transdimensional medium is the message of madness”?
(3) There are plenty of alternative calendars around already. What I’d like is an alternate timeline.
I can understand that last one.
The first one is merely a recitation of facts. At the top of the “classic” 1040 form as I remember it from about 1984-recently, the form states “for calendar year XXXX, or year beginning _____, XXXW and ending ____, XXXX”. Individuals can (or could) elect a fiscal year in the first year of filing a tax return merely by filling out those blanks. Mind you, if you do, you get to take a little trip to Wonderland every time you file and it really helps to have a tax research reference on call…..but, hey, I was working in public accounting and the firm had to have one anyway. I filed that way for a couple of years and then the headache outweighed the novelty. To get back, you just file a short year ending on December 31. No permissions are needed, it’s pretty much mechanical.
The second point references something of interest to me, and also of interest to Wolf, and comes up frequently in conversations, but — like blind men describing an elephant — we keep dancing around how to describe it. I dropped a comment a bit ago about how some neurologists (and amateur stage magicians) were observing how presentation changed perception — an example, learned from a stage pickpocket, was that people’s eyes track curved motions, but jump from the beginning to the end of linear motions. It comes up frequently in discussions of propaganda — how can you say something totally off-the-wall and have it become a fundamental belief. It underlies MK Ultra, and the inducement of psychosis. It underlies McLuhan’s discussion of “hot media” — full of images, movement, and masses of data intended to immerse the recipient and fix attention on details — as opposed to “cool media” — like cartoons or muzak, which are best understood from an overall standpoint rather than a detailed one. [Of course, and somewhat tellingly, these definitions have been stood-on-their-heads by technology. If you’ve got 10,000 CGI orcs storming a castle, you are NOT going to fix your attention on details.]
Another fly in the ointment is that the people running around in the space of intentionally altering human perceptions and belief systems don’t always have merely academic curiosity in mind. You have everybody from the Gramsci crowd, the CIA, Goebbels, Jim Jones, Scientology, and the Illuminati trying to figure out stuff, confuse the others, and use their discoveries in a practical way to accomplish their aims.
To reference this field of “media studies”, it’s simple to update a famous slogan, “the medium is the message”, for a transdimensional/interdimensional being specializing in chaos and madness.
Well… all that from a word I chose poorly!

As someone who has worn glasses from an early age, the problem is not their avowed wish to “enhance” humanity by interpenetration of human and technology…..the problem is their unspoken wish to control humanity by increasing dependence on technology they control. That’s a much more limited risk profile, and can be policed by merely using technology you understand. If you must use technology you don’t understand, apply a monitor that you do understand to it. If forced to use technology you don’t understand and cannot monitor, assess whether any reliable, reputable entities exist to monitor it [in: EFF; out: any branch of Federal government].
The idea of “unaccountable” tech foisted off on an unsuspecting public by massive entities for hidden purposes is a bit of a tip-off that something nefarious is going on.

He’s also written a small but comprehensive/concise book ab the topic, 2084, subtitled Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity. The latter part of this book deals with transhuman issues.
The fact that Lennox is a mathematician is evident in his adherence to actual thinking rather than speculation.
Prior to his lecturing on this subject, he read contemporary philosophers as well as “scientists”, at great length, so he is well grounded in his subject.
He’s really a joy to read. or watch.
Almost all of his sessions have Q&As, so you are let in on his grasp of his subjects…he is not simply reading what he has researched.
Highly recommended.

He was commending Nugent on his ‘Hunt The Vote’ operation…which has been an effort to get hunters registered to vote, so they can vote for Trump.
Who knew, that there are millions of hunters out there who have never registered to vote…and have never voted!
But there are.
Or…there were, till now.
Don Jr. and Ted Nugent had stumbled upon this revelation, in talking to hunters and asking them to vote for our President.
So Nugent started his ‘Hunt The Vote’ operation to get as many hunters registered as possible.
It’s been very successful.
On the show, Nugent and his wife Shemane, were in a round table discussion with Don Jr. and other hunters. such as Keith Mark.
They were naming off the totals by state, of newly registered hunters, and it was nearly a million in one state alone.
I’m thinking that was probably Texas…but they didn’t give the names of states.
Other state totals were in the high six figures too.
So this could easily be a couple of million new voters…that the pollsters are not even aware of.

I will forever disagree that flag burning is a matter of 1st Amendment Free Speech. Burning a flag is most definitely not speech; it is an action! Being restricted from burning a flag doesn’t deny any form of speech whatsoever. The effects of that liberal left-leaning ruling on flag burning has been a Pandora’s Box releasing many grievous and destructive demons into our society. That decision has unleashed waves of intolerance, vindictiveness and entitlement to do all sorts of harm and damage when one’s ideological proclivities are not shared by others.
It has led to people feeling free to remove and burn political opponents signs, to intolerant persecution of people with opposing views, demanding they not be able to operate a bakery, or to work in certain businesses, and now to burning police cars, businesses, etc. across our country. It would have been far better to rule on the side of self-control and respect for others views, and the side for the constraint of actions fueled by anger.

In the weird exchange, both text back and forth over the span of nearly 6 weeks, sometimes after 10:00pm.
In the many messages, it seems like Graveley is giving Cabal updates on the WI DOJ investigation into the Kenosha Police shooting of Jacob Blake and taking advice on how to handle the Kenosha riots.
In one message, Cabal warns Graveley that “KPD is gonna burn out.”
In another message, the two seem to make breakfast plans. It should be noted that Graveley is married.
This exchange is a very bizarre one, especially for Kenosha County’s top prosecutor.

Something is brewing here too. Walking in my neighborhood last night was interesting. I actually came across 6 biden signs and flags. Trump flags outnumbered those. American flags were on far more houses. Many dark houses altogether. Less kids but more people having driveway parties and watching movies. I only saw a few masks. Several variations of social distancing or just completely ignored it. Kiddo still filled up his bag despite being done about 40 minutes early.
No rudeness or problems. Kiddo did say that the quieter Halloween was scary. Kids need the social activity. I hope people do mot continue this.

Normally this is a very big weekend for us since we are hired by a lot of churches. So far this year we did a birthday at a daycare on Friday. Nice Black folks. She was a parole officer and he was a prison warden. Yesterday we split up and I did a very nice Black Church in Durham. It was a small church but very very nice. I really want to do events for them in the future. And this afternoon we have a third Black family and tomorrow is ANOTHER Black family.
Judging by our gigs in the last couple of months, I think the Blacks are OVER this Covid nonsense.
As I previously posted, about 10 days ago we got new neighbors with 3 children. I briefly met the wife one day and their names but not the children. The former owners of the house mentioned 3 children…a 5 year old girl and 2 pre-teen boys. The father is a high school PE teacher and football coach and I mentioned to DH I thought it was strange we had never heard boys out playing in the very large backyard (hidden from view.)
We had placed a note in their mailbox a couple days ago saying we would have candy treats for the kids should they want to come over to “trick or treat”…thinking they might be hesitant as brand new residents. It’s basically an adult neighborhood.
So, the door bell rang and at the bottom of the steps were 3 young girls in long dresses (Hamilton show characters) and a young boy in a race car uniform….plus Mom and Dad…all beaming.
It was the exact opposite of our expectations…2 young sisters (plus a cousin) instead of boys (no wonder they haven’t been out back tossing a football!) and instead of an adorable 5 year old girl, a shy boy who couldn’t remember his name. Quick mental adjustment!
The parents couldn’t thank us enough for “breaking the ice” in the neighborhood…I hope some of the others on the street did the same.
I mentioned before the wife is the daughter of a very liberal black state legislator, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t have that in mind in the future because she’s already ran unopposed for circuit court judge. Afterwards, DH wondered if they happened to see our discreet Trump signs on the wreath at the door and the “I voted” sticker on the little scarecrow below it! LOL
Oh out here theyve been having house oarties fir months, but not the good kind.
We had a VERY light night for us. The thing to do was put your goodies on a table in the driveway or walk and sit a few feet behind it babysitting.
I was VERY disappointed not to see the kids on the next couple of blocks. The girls behind us were out on their swingset in the back yard all evening and the Couch Commando eventually took our bucket of goodies, opened the gate, and asked their mom if they could have some. She said yes. She’s really jumpy because she works in a nursing home. And there’s at least 10 kids at that end, and NONE of them were out.
It really sucked for the kids because as Halloween nights go, it was GORGEOUS here to the point there were mosquitoes out. So were the bats. Beautiful sunset, and then the moon rose behind the clouds and they blew off to the east, and WOWZA. Just stunning. You can’t ask for better weather on Halloween, and trick or treat was downright lame.
I just dont get people…too lazy to gor for a walk in your neighborhood, say hi, and you dont touch anyone!
I can’t wait for the first choir rehearsal. I’m afraid I’m going to have to explain it all.

Yes – IMAGES of tweets are dangerous things – but sometimes they’re the only record of a real tweet that gets deleted.
The only safe thing would be for the text of a tweet to be digitally signed…but most people either wouldn’t know how to, or bother to, check the signature.
The idea behind a digital signature in turn depends on dual-key encryption (and, preferably, one way hashes) and is a bit complicated to explain. Dual key encryption means there are TWO keys to a code. If Key #1 is used to encrypt, Key #2 is used to decrypt–and also, if key 2 is used to encrypt, key one is used to decrypt! ONLY Key 2 works with Key 1 and vice versa.
That makes a couple of neat things possible. I could create a pair of keys, and share one of them, Key 2. Post it on billboards, even! Then anyone can send me a message that only I can read, by using my publicly released key 2. Since I am the only one who knows Key 1, I am the only one who can decode the message and read it.
Alternatively, I can write something, post it, and THEN I can encrypt it with Key 1 and post the encrypted text too. Anyone can decode with Key 2 and verify that I encrypted the message with Key 1. That makes it impossible for someone to post a fake message in my name, because they can’t encrypt it with Key 1 (which nobody but me knows) to make it look like I wrote it.
So something like a tweet could be signed in this way.
(In practice what gets signed is a one-way hash of the message, not the message itself. Run the message through an algorithm that turns it into a much smaller, shorter number (called a hash or digest). It’s called one way because there’s no way to run the process backwards and create a fictitious message that gives you the same hash. Encrypt that hash. the recipient or viewer can decrypt the hash. They can then run the message being signed through the hash algorithm themselves. If the decrypted hash doesn’t match the hash you computed, the sender signed something else, not the message you’re looking at–OR the signature is totally made up.)

WordPress handles the conversion of Twitter links into “embedded tweets”, but your browser can choose to either honor it, or walk the expansion back all the way to the bare link, or (more often) just to the TEXT of the tweet.

I think most of them were not paid. There were many true believers who thought he would usher in racial harmony with “hope and change” and that he would give the little people what they need and want (Obama phones, money “from his stash”), not holding anyone accountable or demanding responsibility. The white-guilt liberals were all in as well.
