I want to comment on the art style known as “Alegria.” Even if you aren’t familiar with the name, I’m sure you’ve seen it before. It’s America’s version of Communist art, and as such, it tends to show up in cabal propaganda. For example:
Note how nobody in this picture has a face. This is common in Alegria/Communist art. Just like how they’re obsessed with everyone covering their real life faces with masks, the cabal doesn’t even want faces depicted in their crappy art. I’m half-tempted to call it a weird manifestation of Sharia law (Sunni Muslims are forbidden from depicting all humans, not just Muhammad, in art), but no, I believe the real goal is dehumanization and demoralization. This art is intentionally ugly, low-quality, and meant to depict humans as deformed and faceless. There can’t be any beauty in the Great Reset because that might actually inspire people.

Another one is that almost all couples in media now are depicted interracial black and white. Usually a black man with white woman, but very occasionally, a white man with black woman. They claim this is for “diversity,” but genuine diversity would feature interracial couples of all races. When was the last time you saw an advertisement with a black man and an Asian woman? Or a Hispanic man with a Muslim woman? They not only go out of their way to avoid depicting couples of the same race, but they specifically prefer a black/white combination even though true “diversity” would demand more variety.
The latest being the film Fatman, in which Mrs. Claus is a British black woman. Lovely individual but I’m tired of having our history rewritten every decade into whichever ‘ism’ is in vogue.

We don’t have a microwave in this house. I am the only one who does not miss one, but it’s amazing how you can live without one.
It’s amazing what you can learn to live without. Our hunters discover that every time they hit hunting camp w/ outhouses, wood burning stove heating, & hand pump for water. They Never want to come home once they adjust to shack style conditions!
I did an opera program in Italy almost 20 years ago. We had a two burner propane hot plate and no hot water for cooking. You get used to it.
Came home…two ovens and a natural gas range…luxuries….
I came back from just 3 weeks in Liberia & was so used to seeing men relieve themselves on the side of the road that in the terminal at JFK in NYC I saw a man in a suit from behind, he was standing below a departure/arrival sign w/ his hands in front of him, & I was outraged that someone was taking a pee right there in the terminal–he wasn’t just my “norms” had already shifted!
Oh & going back into American grocery stores was a major culture shock. What passed for chicken in Liberia we probably wouldn’t have purchased to feed a dog, it was literally skin & bones!

Yes. I was at a zoo in Liberia & they had standard chain link fencing, though it went up higher, & you could stick your fingers through to be bitten, or attempt to touch the beasts. We had a sexually aroused tiny monkey climb the fence at face level to show us his junk–ugh!

yesterday I finally had a chance to chat with my hairdresser–her son was sent home from school last month complaining about a sore throat. (Every year that I have known her, this son gets strep throat at the beginning of flu season.)
She took him to the doc and of course the kid got a covid test–it was positive. The whole family quarantined for 2 weeks and the son never had any other symptoms–no fever, headache, cough, nothing –just the usual sore throat.
However because of the positive test result, she had to provide a list of his classmates, and anyone he might have had unmasked contact with. My hairdresser provided the list, then called each person on that list and explained that someone would be calling and why.
As of yesterday, not a singe person received a phone call from anyone other than my hairdresser…
My hairdresser was never a mask person…till now. she had to have 2 negative tests before she could reopen the shop and now she swears that her wearing a mask to tend to her sick son (who didn’t require meds–not even a tylenol for pain) kept her from getting covid.
Ironically, she and her youngest child DID get a stomach flu during this time (which befuddles her because they had absolutely no contact with anyone for 2 weeks).
