And now for the obligatory message from our sponsors:

Here at the Q tree we believe in the concept of CIVIL open free speech and the discussion that fleshes out ideas. When commenting and participating in the OPEN discussion on this thread all comments MUST NOT CONTAIN personal threats, baiting, name calling, or other anti-social words fomenting hate, violence or destruction. Fellow tree dweller, the late Wheatie, gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.

Those who have things to say that do not fit the generally accepted limits of “civil” discussion, Wolf has provided a venue known as the UTree. You’re welcome to visit over there and say hi to anyone hanging out over there. The “Rescue Thread” is also over there. In the event a rendezvous of the tree is needed, please check it out, as well as the newest rescue venue.

MATTHEW 26:14-25

14Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests 15and said, “What will you give me if I deliver him to you?” And they paid him thirty pieces of silver. 16And from that moment he sought an opportunity to betray him. 17Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Where will you have us prepare for you to eat the passover?” 18He said, “Go into the city to a certain one, and say to him, `The Teacher says, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at your house with my disciples.'” 19And the disciples did as Jesus had directed them, and they prepared the passover. 20When it was evening, he sat at table with the twelve disciples; 21and as they were eating, he said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” 22And they were very sorrowful, and began to say to him one after another, “Is it I, Lord?” 23He answered, “He who has dipped his hand in the dish with me, will betray me. 24The Son of man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.” 25Judas, who betrayed him, said, “Is it I, Master?” He said to him, “You have said so.”

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.

And…members of the QTree who no longer participate for one reason or another.

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

I hear you. Congress can investigate, and they can interrogate, but they aren’t a law enforcement body. The House does control spending, so maybe something could be done there, and they can impeach people. There might be other things that I’m not privy to as well. But we need results, not just talk about results, and not just asking people questions.

In the what it’s worth column and in the event I used too much verbiage yesterday, might as well use this to reemphasize the point made concerning Lockwood’s “The Last President” .

Internet conspiracy theorists raved and raved about all the prescience in that one book comparing it to then and the Trump Presidency until the subject had been totally exhausted and silence ensued. Everything that could be said, had been said. That was 2017 and by early 2018 the deep state smear machine had effectively shut down the conspiracies surrounding Trump and the Lockwood books.

It was then, after the silence had ensued, that the last three pages of Lockwood’s book actually played out in real time in 2019 and no one even batted an eye. Just as in those last pages of the book Pelosi denied the President from giving the State of the Union and then after long argument, the Speaker finally relented, just like in the book and literally no one picked up on that.

Adds in the note: Note. Ingersoll Lockwood allegedly wrote this book (1900 – or the last president) in 1896. The first State of the Union was given in front of congress by President Wilson in 1913. A lesser neat trick.

NATO Promotes WW3 with Finland’s Membership

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/war/nato-promotes-ww3-with-finlands-membership/

comment image

Finland has officially become the 31st member of NATO. “Finland has today become a member of the defense alliance NATO. The era of military non-alignment in our history has come to an end. A new era begins,” Finland’s President Sauli Niinistö mistakenly celebrated. It is clear that Finland does not understand Russia’s motives for the war in Ukraine.

Finland shares an 832-mile border with Russia, doubling the size of NATO’s borders with Russia. Russia is now surrounded, backed into a corner. Russia’s national security is in jeopardy, and will not choose flight over fight. This is precisely what Russia had been arguing against for years. Finland was not under threat of attack from Russia and did not need global military protection, nor did it need to spend a portion of its GDP to push forward the war effort.

“Finland’s membership is not targeted against anyone. Nor does it change the foundations or objectives of Finland’s foreign and security policy. Finland is a stable and predictable Nordic country that seeks peaceful resolution of disputes,” the new president also stated. Russia certainly did not see this as a neutral act. “We will strengthen our military capabilities in the west and northwest if NATO members deploy forces and equipment on Finnish territory,” Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko warned. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow will prepare “counter-measures to ensure our own security, both tactically and strategically.”

Finland has not aligned with other military powers in nearly 80 years. US Neocon Anthony Blinken was foaming at the mouth for this partnership to take place. Finland’s people were safe and uninvolved in this proxy war before Tuesday. Everyone cheering that Finland has joined “the good guys” fails to realize this directly escalates the conflict to new proportions. What started as a land dispute between two neighboring countries has overtaken the world, and all leaders are willing to risk the lives of their people to “win” this war. Ukraine is now loudly voicing its desire to join NATO, which would guarantee a full-scale world war. The chess players are aligning their players, and it is only a matter of time before mass destruction takes place that changes the world as we know it.

scott467

Didn’t Finland have something to do with Operation Biden Nukes Nord Stream?

For Finland to go into NATO under these circumstances is like Finland going into witness protection.

CNN’s Miller: We ‘Whipped Ourselves up’ for a ‘Seven-Year-Old Case’ Against Trump ‘Nobody Wanted to Go Forward with’
https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2023/04/04/cnns-miller-we-whipped-ourselves-up-for-a-seven-year-old-case-against-trump-nobody-wanted-to-go-forward-with/

While speaking on CNN on Tuesday, CNN Chief Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analyst John Miller stated that “we’ve kind of whipped ourselves up over the last week” over the indictment against former President Donald Trump and believed that “must be more than what we know” but the indictment is “just the same stuff we already knew” about a seven-year-old case that “nobody” in the prosecutor’s office wanted to move forward with.

Miller stated, “It’s an interesting shift today, because — and maybe it’s all our own fault — we’ve kind of whipped ourselves up over the last week about, if they’re bringing this case, it must be more than what we know is inside. And we looked inside today and [said], oh, it’s just the same stuff we already knew. So, what changed? It’s a seven-year-old case. In the D.A.’s office, they called this the zombie case, because every time they put it away, it came back to life, nobody wanted to go forward with it.”

He continued, “They had a larger, more complicated case involving hundreds of millions of dollars in overvaluing property in order to secure lines of credit and undervaluing property when it was time to pay taxes, and not just a little, but to the power of five.

And it was a large, complex fraud based on the exact same charges, falsification of business records, but it was easier to articulate, the victims are the public, the taxpayers, the banks, the fraud. And he chose not to go forward with it. And yet, chose [to go forward] with this. So, it’s an odd turn.”

Oh, please. If there had been anything they could have manipulated into charges, they would have.

From what Yours Truly read, it appears that MLV (Modified Live Virus) vaccine products are sweeping the veterinary / farm animal industry. It appears that the MLV platform is similar to the mRNA platform in that the MLV vaccines contain ingredients that induce the animal to produce antibodies against a specific virus (for example, BRD [Bovine Respiratory Disease].)
In addition, a “DNA immunostimulant” can also be given to the animal.

He’s not interested in national energy suicide (at all) and would put a stop to that crap immediately.

He’s not crazy — he may have differing opinions on a lot of things, but nutso-batshit insane he is not.

His biggest problem electability-wise is he’s 75 years old — basically the same as Trump.

There are a lot of GOP voters who don’t care for Trump — but they won’t vote for crazy no matter how you dress it up.  Biden, Harris, Newsom .et.al. — they’re all nuts. Exactly zero GOP voters will vote for any of those. Ever.

But many of them would vote for Manchin if Trump is on the other side of the ticket.
I bet he’d win by 10 points against Trump and there’d be absolutely no question that the win was legitimate either.

He makes a lot of good points on a lot of different subjects. But he doesn’t ‘get’ Trump, or seem to grasp how Trump is the only person who actually takes the fight to the enemy.

Not as a result of poll-tested and focus-grouped responses, but as a matter of that’s just who he is, so that’s just what he does.

And unlike anyone else, Trump actually wins.

How Karl could possibly think another lifelong career politician — a devilrat, no less — could save the sinking ship, really exposes how his Trump-hate has created a giant blind spot.

So, I had a bit of excitement on Tuesday.

Last week, I called my sister to wish her happy birthday and generally check in. During this time, I gave her a brief update on my medical dealio and she even took down some notes.

Monday night, late, I receive an email from my mom showing that my sister had talked about things with her (so far, so good…..) and mom had conflated them with a lot of the things that killed her younger brother last year (not so good….).

So I called mom up to peel her off the ceiling.

I gave her a quick recap of how we’d gotten here, then delved into the recent CT scan results. I started by noting what they’d seen of my liver — that it was “Normal in size [enlarged liver, several diagnoses], contour [lumps, potential cancer], and density [cirrhosis]” and, further, “No mass or focal lesion.” In short, my liver looked good enough to slap in a bikini and put on the cover of Liver Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition. Just to drive this point home, my portal vein was also examined and looked normal.

That said, I was full of ascites. At various points, they were noted around my liver and spleen, in the hernia, and “diffuse”. “Ascites”, btw, is a medical term for “random fluid”.

In fact, much like the Inuit supposedly have sixty words for “snow”, there are probably fifty medical terms for random fluids in the body. As it turns out, however, various specialists are supposed to use specific terms — and each particular term has an implication for a particular diagnosis. “Ascites”, for instance, are caused by severe liver problems 75% of the time. Seeing that the radiologist had just gotten done saying how beautiful my liver was, he also tossed “[d]iffuse anasarca is present” into the report. As might be gathered from context, “anasarca” is another medical term for “random fluid” — “edema” is another one.

When I went in to see my PCP to discuss the CT scan, I had a list of things to go over — one of which was “ascites / anasarca”. He referred me to a GI specialist for the ascites (for some reason, GI docs are supposed to deal with livers in this case), and I sweetly asked, “what about the anasarca?” At first, he gruffly asked where I had gotten that term from — “some internet thing?” I pointed it out on the radiology report and he muttered, “he’s not supposed to say that — that’s only from physical examination.” [Which, of course, revealed the whole scheme.]

Mind you, I already knew I didn’t have “classic ascites”, because I had abdominal fluid buildup unrelated to liver failure. Nor did I have “classic anasarca” — that’s fluid buildup throughout the entire body and a classic symptom is “moon face”. I had “classic edema” as a side effect from ACE inhibitors I was taking for hypertension, but that’s normally below the knee. My own thought was that I likely had “extended edema” in my lower extremities and abdomen — most likely from the ACE inhibitors.

And I’d recently seen that a certain percentage of hypertension cases were caused by adrenal cysts — of which the CT scan had just spotted one. If the hypertension is caused by the cyst and I fix the cyst, then I won’t need the ACE inhibitors, which would cause the edema to go away, which would reduce the pressure on the hernia, which would be a tiny almost-cosmetic nip’n’tuck with little chance of failure bit of surgery….

Which is nothing like the cascading bad news that my uncle, my mom’s little brother, had before he died. This discussion got mom down off the ceiling and out the door for her own appointment. It also left me exhausted.

My mom is scary smart. She is the smartest person I know. Fortunately, she kept it in academics and never really got out much — where I took counsel from Robert A. Heinlein, who told me, “the slickest way to lie is to tell just enough of the truth, and shut up.”

I love my mom, but any word I say might be the key to her figuring out how I bamboozled her 45 years ago. It makes conversation stressful.

Wow Cthulhu that’s a bit of a wild ride. Bottom line is you are doing (relatively) OK? On top of that earthquake activity AND your possible move to freer, colder climes…You (& fiancée) have got your hands full! God be with you!!!

cthulhu

I was hoping you’d see this.

When you duck down all the rabbit holes and go down all the dead ends, I’m really fine — which makes it exceptionally weird when MDs start oscillating like I’m in Josiah’s shoes. The very cream of modern medicine has made it possible for him to be a worthy young man — where that very same medical establishment seems to be creating a clusterfark that is the bane of my health.

The whole idea that each specialist is restricted in the types of descriptions that can be used, and that each description has a built-in bias of diagnoses and treatments, is seriously weird…..but, now that I’ve seen it, it cannot be unseen.

The earthquake is no big deal — it’s an annoyance, but not that unusual in the area.

Since you have had much more experience with the health biz than I have, I was wondering if any of it looked peculiar to you.

kalbokalbs

Gail Combs

YUP!

I really do not trust doctors…

Valerie Curren

Well I obviously can’t really address the specifics of your situation, just generally. My son was referred to GI initially w/ his liver issues so that might be standard. He also takes an ACE inhibitor, iirc, for HBP, but they never discussed fluid/edema with us that I can recall. He’s supposed to drink more fluids/water & reduce salt intake. He has Chronic Kidney Disease/Kidney Injury presumably related to the years of HBP, including untreated years, somewhat my fault, see quote below.

PS In speaking with the Liver Transplant Intake Coordinator, she said that this clinic typically follows patients with abnormal Portal Vein issues. It made me wonder why all those years ago we were never referred to this Team when his Portal Vein abnormalities came to light. However, as I try to make sense (if that is even possible) of these many things it seems to me that it is actually a blessing that we did not receive such a referral. Had that happened way back (possibly about a decade ago) it is highly unlikely that the brain tumor would have been present then. In fact, had they done the brain imaging to check with the associated abnormalities of the brain at the time, we may never have unearthed the tumor issue until some types of symptoms were present. Since Josiah has so many medical (and other) complexities, it is possible that even if there were some symptoms of a tumor, they may have been blamed on some other of his many conditions. So, the bottom line is that I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE THAT THE LORD HAS EVEN BEEN INVOLVED IN THE TIMING of Josiah’s many medical services…and even working within our mistakes.

To that end, I had been mentally kicking myself for not having followed through on the original Neprology referral made by Cardiology way back nearly three years ago now. Michael was kind enough to point out that I was in the midst of the major Special Ed battle at the time, so that my “dropping the ball” was entirely understandable, given all the things that were (and were not) going on then. In fact, had I followed through with the kidney doctors then it would have also been unlikely that the brain tumor would have come to light, given the liklihood of its 1-1 1/2 year speculated existance. Fortunately the Lord is bigger than our “mistakes” and He is Still working in all things, for our good and his glory! Blessings again…(and as always, please forgive my mistakes here as I’m writing on one of the hospital computers with Josiah [im]patiently waiting, so I don’t want to take further time to work on fixing my mistakes above)…

Some of that material above was from this source Historical Email #3Posted Jul 11, 2012 4:51am & quoted here:

https://specialconnections.wordpress.com/2017/07/30/four-years-ago-today-a-transplant-tale/

My dad has gotten some relief for edema in the legs using compression socks so if you’ve never tried that you might give it a go. Reducing your stress levels is a good thing.

Now I don’t recall you mentioning hernias before. J was born w/ bilateral inguinal (in the groin) hernias as well as an umbilical hernia. All were surgically repaired when he was quite young. The ones in the groin involved a mesh, not sure about the belly button one. Whenever he has surgery or certain procedures I’ll mention the fact of the mesh for I don’t know how it was “installed” so there may be metal there though he’s subsequently had multiple MRI’s w/out incident.

I’ve had a couple liver diagnoses in the past myself & the whole thing can be a bit scary, especially when they mention the possibility of the big C word, thankfully that didn’t end up being my situation, ultimately…

Having dealt with really complex medical stuff for my son sometimes it can make that arena a tad bit too familiar. With all we’ve been learning over the last few years about how so much of the medical “establishment” is captured enemy territory it’s important to work with providers that you can trust & who take your concerns seriously and fully answer your questions. Getting second opinions is also always an option…

I find/found it helpful to write down some of the things I wanted to discuss before the appointment & then refer to the list to ensure the bulk of those issues/concerns get addressed. Also it’s Crucial to get diagnostic & other info IN Writing. Trusting your memory on the minutia is risky business, especially if the situation involves complexities that weren’t anticipated for you can kind of go into a mental/emotional shock as you’re being bombarded with info about your health/life & it’s actually very hard to process it in the moment or have reliable recall of All that is said. Getting those providers to put it down in writing can help everyone get on the same page 🙂

In Josiah’s case his body produced Adenomas in at least 2 locations, the Pituitary Adenoma/Brain Tumor & some of his liver masses, pre-transplant, were likely adenomas. He never had those tumorous scenarios revealed by blood markers, which would have been more typical. When the transplant was well-behind us I wanted him to get a full body scan to see if there were other “adenomas” or tumors elsewhere & convinced the transplant doc to refer us to the appropriate specialist, a type of oncologist, iirc. Anyway, that doc REFUSED to do any type of scan to search for potential other tumors & told us to come back after blood work indicated a tumor search made sense. The fact that Josiah had already had DOZENS of tumors in his body with no blood indicators of that condition whatsoever didn’t even make that doc blink, but it sure got my blood boiling!!!

When I get overwhelmed with the uncertainties & fears about health & life that’s when I finally realize, again, that I really can’t face such situations very well in just my own strength. I turn to the Lord in prayer & worship & often ask other people for prayer support to strengthen the sense of God helping to carry us during those stormy seasons.

You AND God have got This, Whatever This turns out to be!

Then put it on.

Tonawanda

In New York, a person commits burglary (a felony) when he enters a premise unlawfully with the intent to commit a crime, even if the crime is a petty offense, like stealing an ash tray, or spray painting the living room wall with a vulgarity.

But is it necessary for an indictment to specify the crime intended to be committed in the case of burglary? The answer is no.

Filing a false business entry with the intent to conceal the commission of another crime is not the same as burglary, but you can see the similarities. In New York, is it required to specify in the indictment what crime is sought to be concealed? In the case of burglary, specification of the crime is never required, and people are regularly convicted as such.

Is the same true for filing a felony false business entry?

This is not a question of how strong or weak the case is. It is a purely legal question.

Political as they are, the New York county DA’s office has lawyers who are conversant with NY law. Yes, aspects of the law are sometimes quite surprising and seemingly mysterious, although when the rationale for the law is understood, make total sense, or at least are not unreasonable.

The wording of indictments has been minutely examined thousands of times in New York, for well over a century. The same “obscure” questions about the wording of indictments have been looked at and explicated in granular detail. These considerations have not been overlooked by Bragg, I am guessing.

People never understood the law in the Flynn case, and why Powell’s avoidance of addressing the law demonstrated what a charlatan she was. The emotions ran too high and the injustice was too rank for people to even consider what the law was. But justice in the metaphysical sense was irrelevant to justice in the granular, tested by time sense.

People who affirmatively identify themselves as lawyers seem to be accepted as all knowing by non-lawyers, and even other lawyers. But there is often something dishonest about the affirmative representation, as if the magical but spurious identification conferred omniscience. But there is no such thing as legal omniscience, zero.

Last edited 1 year ago by Tonawanda
cthulhu

Following this exposition, what would be the difference in New York law between burglary and trespass?

Tonawanda

Trespass is entering a premises unlawfully. Burglary is entering a premise unlawfully with the intent to commit a crime.

scott467

“People never understood the law in the Flynn case,”

______________

When the injustice is obvious, or ‘prima facie’, what else is needed to be understood?

No one can say “Well, the law says this, and it makes sense because of this” etc., if the entire reason why Flynn was dragged into the legal system was an obvious injustice.

In other words, “Flynn did nothing wrong, BUT [here’s why it makes legal sense]” is not relevant, because he did nothing wrong.

If a man has done nothing wrong, what legal explanation is possible for anything beyond “he did nothing wrong”?

Tonawanda

Because he freely and voluntarily admitted that he did something wrong, or he committed perjury. One or the other. No other choice. That is what the legal system had to deal with, nothing else.

You are simply asking whether Flynn had integrity or not, and he did not. He brought it on himself.

An innocent man who pleads guilty is perjuring himself, and lacking integrity. You, me or most other people might do the same thing under the same circumstances, but we all would be liars lacking integrity for doing so. In contrast, look at the J6 guy who just got many years after going to trial, instead of a few months for lying and pleading guilty, admitting to a crime he did not commit. That man had Socratic levels of integrity, and Socrates could not be defeated logically when he made the point.

Powell understood the legal dilemma she was in, but she never addressed it in an honest way, she addressed it in a political way. That is why she was on TV every night.

If she addressed the legal questions honestly, she would have gotten nowhere. That is why she did not.

Pardons are the remedy for what you are talking about.

Last edited 1 year ago by Tonawanda
Tonawanda

Also, Flynn was not an honorable man whatsoever. He was a weasel.

If you commit perjury and freely, falsely proclaim your guilt in order to gain a benefit, (son not charged, or a lesser sentence) be man enough to stand by your perjury.

Flynn was a weasel. He knew what he was doing. But then he changed his mind and pretended he did not know what he was doing.

scott467

“If you commit perjury and freely, falsely proclaim your guilt in order to gain a benefit, (son not charged, or a lesser sentence) be man enough to stand by your perjury.

Flynn was a weasel. He knew what he was doing. But then he changed his mind and pretended he did not know what he was doing.”

_____________

I didn’t even know about that. There came a time (for me) where paying attention to the long and winding case seemed pointless.

Please

I was under the impression that The Evils threatened to go after Flynn’s son, who had a newborn.

The false charges would have put his son through the same financial hardships Gen Flynn experienced, and that is why he plead guilty.

scott467

Okay, it’s hazy but it’s coming back a little. There has been so much information to absorb since then, it’s as if my internal hard drive is deleting old stuff to make room for the new.

Tonawanda

Exactly my point! If you are going to commit perjury and falsely proclaim your guilt in order to gain a benefit, have the courage and fortitude to stand by your decision.

TradeBait2

^^^ This. Never trusted the guy or the potential appointment by PDT from Day One.

Tonawanda

BTW, whether a person has been adequately informed of the charges against him, the object of indictments and bills of particulars, has been gone over many, many times.

For instances, is it adequate to use the word feloniously, without identifying the felony?

Or, is it necessary to tell a person whether he committed the crime as a principal or accessory?

The short answer is, beware of categorical assertions based on grand principles.

Tonawanda

There is not and cannot be a legal system which arrives at the truth and does justice. No where, regardless of the political structure, even the most ideal.

What any one ever has, at best, is a system which does its best.

The point not understood by most people, is that the system is an elaborate ritual designed to arrive at a result which will be accepted by the community at large.

Gail Combs

In New York, a person commits burglary (a felony) when he enters a premise unlawfully….”

Actually that is sometimes called Breaking and Entering in other states. In NY they call it burglary while ‘theft’ is Larceny.

Article 140 – NY Penal Law

The following is a list of the minimum required crime elements for Burglary:
♦ Person knowingly enters or remains unlawfully (and)
♦ Building (and)
♦ Intent to commit crime therein.

Is 'breaking and entering' into the building necessary? NO
Opening an unlocked door or climbing through an open window is sufficient.

Must the crime therein be a larceny (theft)? NO
It can apply to any crime, such as criminal mischief or assault.

Additional elements that can increase the severity of the crime of Burglary.
♦ The building is a dwelling or
♦ Person or another participant is armed with explosives or a deadly weapon or
♦ Person or another participant causes physical injury or
♦ Person or another participant uses or threatens use of dangerous instrument or
♦ Person or another participant displays what appears to be firearm.

What is considered a 'building' as related to Burglary? (Penal Law Article 140.00)
"Building," in addition to its ordinary meaning, includes any
structure, vehicle or watercraft used for overnight lodging of persons,
or used by persons for carrying on business therein, or used as an
elementary or secondary school, or an inclosed motor truck, or an
inclosed motor truck trailer. Where a building consists of two or more
units separately secured or occupied, each unit shall be deemed both a
separate building in itself and a part of the main building.

What is a 'dwelling' (Penal Law Article 140.00)
"Dwelling" means a building which is usually occupied by a person
lodging therein at night.

What is 'enter or remain unlawfully' (Penal Law Article 140.00)
"Enter or remain unlawfully." A person "enters or remains
unlawfully" in or upon premises when he is not licensed or privileged to
do so. A person who, regardless of his intent, enters or remains in or
upon premises which are at the time open to the public does so with
license and privilege unless he defies a lawful order not to enter or
remain, personally communicated to him by the owner of such premises or
other authorized person....

So it looks like Burglary = Breaking and entering.

Tonawanda

No. That is not what that says whatsoever. Breaking and entering is only one way to enter a premises unlawfully, and actually one can “enter” a premises unlawfully if he enters lawfully but remains unlawfully.

Plus, there can NEVER be a burglary without an intent to commit “a” crime. As the article suggests, the topic of burglary – – like EVERY topic in the law – – is far more detailed, complicated, and broad than people commonly understand.

This is exactly my caution in seeing legal issues discussed even by lawyers. There are ALWAYS considerations which people, even lawyers talking off the cuff (which most are when self-identified on the internet), simply are unaware of.

The wheels of justice grind exceedingly slow in part because any given legal topic would take a book to understand completely.

Internet lawyers like to project an omniscience they simply do not have, and that includes even great lawyers like Dersh. But that is a dishonest approach unless a lawyer is thoroughly conversant with the exact topic, which they rarely are (or could be, off the cuff).

Legal research of any given topic frequently discloses surprises and unexpected considerations no person could have anticipated.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.

AMEN.

This song was released in 1989, Dana Key, of Degarmo and Key, was a direct descendant of Francis Scott Key,

I was raised in America and streets were safe
And the children learn to pray, learn to pray
Things have changed and it’s not the same
The handle of God that we felt is gone away, gone away

Let’s get upset and turn this country upside down
Let’s get upset with Jesus he’ll return this land around

We used to blush at vulgarity
And now we watch while the TV plays all night, plays all night
We used to stand with our backbone strong

Let’s get upset and turn this country upside down

If we as Christians pray the Lord will clear the way

I had a relaxed, focused discussion today with Craig Simpson, who does a podcast from Arizona, on the political and economic fallout in the West from its feckless attempt to kill the Russian economy and end the presidency of Vladimir Putin.

I have written previously about the end of Pax Americana, but it bears repeating — the major consequence of Russia’s Special Military Operation in Ukraine is the deconstruction of the international world order created and dominated by the United States in the wake of World War II. Before becoming the chief scientist for the new bio lab, Dr Rappuoli was the head of vaccine research and development at GSK, the Big Pharma behemoth formerly known as GlaxoSmithKline. He is also the Professor of Vaccines Research at Imperial College, London, the home of the infamous computer model simulations that helped to launch the coronavirus hysteria.

GSK is known for record setting fraudulent activity. In 2012, GSK agreed to pay a $3 billion settlement to the U.S. government, breaking Pfizer’s record for the largest health-care fraud settlement for a drugmaker in U.S. history.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on the need to abandon the dollar and create an “Asian IMF”: There is no reason for Malaysia to continue to depend on the US dollar. For example, in our negotiations between Malaysia and Indonesia, we raise the issue of the use of the ringgit and the rupiah. The Central Bank of Malaysia has also made a proposal to implement this method in matters of trade during visits to China using ringgit and yuan. The bigger question is about the Asian Monetary Fund and the kick-off that I proposed as finance minister and that was not well received in Asia because the US dollar was very strong at the time. But now, with the economic power of China, Japan and so on, I think this proposal should be discussed, at least in relation to the Asian Monetary Fund,

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim proposed the fund last week. In addition to being the Prime Minister, Ibrahim also serves as Malaysia’s Finance Minister.

Ibrahim addressed the Malaysia parliament yesterday and said: “When I had a meeting with President Xi Jinping, he immediately said, ‘I refer to Anwar’s proposal on the Asian Monetary Fund’, and he welcomed discussions,”

Ibrahim also told the parliament,  “There is no reason for Malaysia to continue depending on the dollar.”

Dylan Mulvaney Doesn’t Need Corporate Partnerships, He Needs To Hear The Truth
“Neither of these things, of course, is true. Actual women celebrate the first anniversary of their womanhood on their first birthday, not when they’re 26. Dylan Mulvaney is a man, and no amount of cosplaying as a dead-eyed Disney princess can change that.

Likewise, Dylan Mulvaney is not beautiful. His female-minstrel-show antics are, in fact, hideous. They are reprehensible, a vile display from a man who clearly finds a kind of perverse delight in wearing femininity like a skin. Mocking God and His natural order is ugly. Forcing your way into female spaces to avail yourself of those female benefits, something Bud Light commercials used to mock, is ugly. Shoving your kink in people’s faces and demanding they call it “bravery” is ugly. Galavanting around in bikinis and expecting the world to call you Rosa Parks when you’re far closer to Buffalo Bill is ugly.”

Xi Courts Macron in Bid to Drive Wedge Between Europe and US

  • Macron travels to China with head of the European Commission
  • China views Macron as a pivotal figure in European politics

FTA

“French officials say they felt a special warmth from their Chinese counterparts ahead of the trip, and they say the preparations were smoother and friendlier than Macron’s previous visits.

With former German Chancellor Angela Merkel no longer in power, Xi now sees Macron as someone who could push the European Union to take a more moderate stance on China than the US.

China’s attitude towards Macron is different from that of von der Leyen, who will also visit China from Wednesday to Friday. While Macron arrives “at the invitation” of Xi for a “state visit”, von der Leyen has just a “visit”.

China’s proposal for a ceasefire in Ukraine, combined with some economic measures, could cause divisions within NATO, said an associate professor at the National Taiwan University.

“Europe may feel that the US, which is the biggest beneficiary, is keen to continue to benefit from the Russian-Ukrainian war. This could be a turning point in the NATO split.”

Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Warsaw to prepare for negotiations with Russia , General Waldemar Skrzypczak, former commander of the Polish ground forces, said in an interview with the Polish Rzeczpospolita.

In his opinion, a “strategic dead end” has formed in the Ukrainian crisis, and everything points to the approaching moment when the conflict will have to be ended “by political means”: “It is important that from Zelensky’s point of view, this is not a secret visit by train to Warsaw at night, but an official visit of the President Ukraine to the President of Poland. I think this is the first of a series of such trips. Zelensky needs to start creating an atmosphere of political support around him. He has military assistance, but now, when the end of the conflict is nearing, in my opinion, he needs political support, ”

Financial world legend sounds alarm over ‘biggest bank that’s going …

6 days ago “The biggest bank that’s going to go down is Bank of Japan,” Kiyosaki explained. “Because the Bank of Japan carried the interest rates at, what, zero or whatever they did, [and] financed the …

So this came out 4 days before Japan decided to violate the imposed cap limit. Thus one would think the two stories are not connected.

However the decision to violate the imposed price cap has likely been much discussed in some corporate and govt board rooms for at least a couple of weeks. It may of been close held info but insiders would likely know the govt was leaning in this direction.

Thus this story about the “possible” insolvent nature of the BOJ comes out as a threat should they decide to violate the price cap?

Anyway, eyes wide open watching for some kind of retribution against Japan.

phoenixrising

Yes I’ve been reading about the insolvency of BoJ … don’t they have a ton of US T Bonds? Same problem as the washing machine for Silicon iirc

para59r

The savings bonds might be what saves the BOJ from actually being retaliated against. For what ever reason, I’m going to assume that Japan was not intimidated. Kudo’s to Japan by doing what they need to do for Japan and not fall to the expeditated whims and likely extortion of the USA and the Globalists.

phoenixrising

Sorry … didn’t mean to imply the T bonds were a tool of intimidation (sorry for the word salad … sundown time of day not good for dementia 😉 I agree that Japan did what was necessary for its people, they apparently discussed with US and got permission for an exemption to purchase the oil above cap, as Litenmaus reported above …

para59r

Had to go back and reread what Litenmaus said. Marks it down as an amical break then. Apparently there are still some reasonable people still left in govt that allow for this sort of consent or at least capable of putting a happy face on things. 😁

para59r

Interesting. Will have to amend myself somewhat. Will call it an amical break then. It’s surely not what the State Dept would want as it works counter to sanctions, but it appears the two sides talked it out and Japan does what they need to do with the understanding the US will not begrudge them doing needs to be done. Kinda of like putting a happy spin on it. Apparently there are still grown ups in our govt.

litenmaus

hey para…not sure if they are grownups or extortionists, but both the US and EU have been handing out sanction exemptions like candy: For example Brussels gets to continue buying Russian Gems and back on October 24, 2022, it was revealed that the Netherlands had granted 91 waivers to the sanctions so that Dutch companies could continue business as usual.

In other words the sanctions are just like every other democrat boondoogle….Sanctions for thee, but not for me!!!!!

Going through the comments at Larry’s blog on his article about the USD… posting a few interesting ones:
———————————

“Okay, but the other side is alive and kicking. James Carafano, of the Heritage Foundation, is hitting the circuit pumping the neocon view. He argued “Ukraine is going to win,” because they have “millions of men ready to fight Russia and stand up for democracy.” Now he says all of this financial change is false. “Saudi Arabia is going nowhere, nor is anyone else.” He says this is all show, because ALL the world wants America in charge. They WANT America back where it used to be, in control.

No one wants to leave the dollar. It’s the only game in town. Just get rid of Biden, and it will all be better.

Carafano is always overseas “helping countries to build democracy.” I mention him because he’s always on the talk shows here, is given an honored place on air, talking for a 20-30 minute block. He is what most conservative Americans will listen to, not you. I don’t say this sarcastically; believe me, I don’t, but he and his views are what most conservatives hear, and no doubt will be herded to De Santis.

And, yes, Carafano calls for an increased defense budget “to stand up to China.”
Didn’t I once hear that heritage Foundation is a CIA front?”

—————————————-

“In other words the US is like a guy that makes lets say $1200 monthly (the real money he makes), but lives in a big and expensive house to maintain, owes like 4-6 big cars, expend in all kinds of fancy things like traveling abroad 3-6 times per month, womens, drugs …

Everything worked fine because the town where he lives accepted the money he pays (and printed) by coercion.

Till one day the whole town agrees not to accept the money he prints and uses to pay, and what happens next? Yes: Big cars breakdown, No women, no drugs, no more traveling abroad 3-6 times per month, no more fancy stuff … in other words no more living beyond his means.

Because the bottom line is that when the whole world accepted the dollar what really happen is that the world is PAYING THE US EXPENSES…

… And the danger is that the only way that the US can keep that is by war.”

Petr Bystron Gives Leftists Fits By Quoting President Trump in Bundestag | The Gateway Pundit | by Richard Abelson

While leftist, politically-motivated Soros DA Alvin Bragg tries to lock up President Trump over trumped-up charges in New York, Gateway Pundit Eagle Award winner 2018 Petr Bystron (Alternative for Germany) gave a barnstorming speech blasting the globalist pro-war government in the German Bundestag Friday and quoted US President Donald Trump at length, giving the leftist globalists fits of apoplexy.

………..

The Biden administration stands for a woke, globalist ideology that has as little to do with original American values as the left-green ideology in Germany.

The United States of the Clintons and Epsteins, of Soros, Biden and Zuckerberg, is not our friend.

People who dictate their woke ideology to us and censor our opinions do not believe in democracy.

People who blow up our strategic infrastructure are not our friends.

And people who are fighting a proxy war at our expense, on our continent, are not our allies.

Unfortunately, you completely ignore this fact. Instead, you adopt the Biden administration’s fake narrative that Russia is our number one enemy and that we are in a systemic conflict with Russia. What a bunch of bull!

Since you all claim to be pro-American, I would like to quote a great American President, a true patriot, to you:

“There has to be a commitment to dismantling the entire globalist establishment that is perpetually dragging us into endless wars, pretending to fight for freedom and democracy abroad… Our foreign policy establishment keeps trying to pull the world into conflict with a nuclear-armed Russia, based on the lie that Russia represents our greatest threat.

The greatest threat to Western civilization today is not Russia… It’s the abolition of our national borders. It’s the destruction of the rule of law from within. It’s the Marxists and the globalists.”

Petr Bystron: We hope we will soon have a government in America again, that believes in true American values. We want to work very closely with them – when America once again stands for the Stars and Stripes and not for the Pride Flag.

Looking for positive news, I found some:

Previously reported here: “Federal Judge Strikes Down Minnesota Age Limit for Gun-Carry Permits”

Metaverse Fashion Week — the second annual — was an event in Decentraland where a bunch of fashion brands built virtual spaces to show off clothes, digital architecture, and fashion vibes. More than 60 brands participated in the event, and everywhere I looked, there were names that even I, a fashion scrub, could recognize, including Balenciaga, Adidas, and Coach.

Brands are starting to experiment more with what’s possible in virtual social spaces like Decentraland, and big companies like Meta, Epic Games, and Roblox are trying to make their so-called metaverses attractive for those brands, too. But Metaverse Fashion Week is just the latest example of a clunky digital space that seems to exist only for the companies that make it, not for the users that actually visit.

Bill intended to force Texas prosecutors to pursue abortion, election cases passes Senate

The bill, a priority for Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, is part of a larger effort to limit the power of elected prosecutors, especially in Texas’ largest, left-leaning counties.

Recently drafted legislation in Texas may be the key to stymieing Democrats’ exploitative use of taxpayer-funded colleges to run partisan get-out-the-vote operations.

Introduced in February by Republican Rep. Carrie Isaac, HB 2390 stipulates that counties “may not designate as a polling place a location on the campus of an institution of higher education located within the county.” If passed by the GOP-controlled legislature and signed by Gov. Greg Abbott, the law would take effect on Sept. 1.

Do you have any references on this gen alpha stuff? That would be my booger in that generation.
Btw he will say he’s offended to me and i tell him oh well get used to it. 😉

Aubergine

Lol!

My references on Gen Alpha are anecdotal, unfortunately. My youngest son (age 27) is an online gamer in his spare time, and he interacts with them. And my grandson is twelve, and I hear from him about his cohort. The other day, I asked him about a “gender” question on a school document he had to fill out. He said “there were four choices,” then rolled his eyes and said “but there are only two genders.”

He proceeded to tell me all about the “weirdos” in his school who think they are “bi-sexual” or “animals.” He told me, in the most disgusted way, that he had “actually seen” a kid crawling around on all fours in school. He said the vice-Principal told them to “get up and stop acting immature.” My grandson was happy about that.

From all I hear, this age group is fed up with the crazies. The kids who are doing it are being scorned by most of their peers. Which means it is doomed.

$600,000 property with only a $197. tax assessment.

But, two propertys with similar tax assessments are actually the same apartment but for business fraud purposes, it appears, Alvin and his wife use two addresses on paper to represent the same physical apartment.

Basically, it’s a big apartment building that covers the entire square of the block. So, one address us Street A and the second address is parallel Street B. Neither, when used in business records thus far, have an apartment number attached… hench the purposeful manipulation of business records – to skirt taxes and artificially inflate his real estate portfolio?

BREAKING: Obama Received $30 Million From CCP Linked Fugitive According to Leonardo DiCaprio
https://trendingpoliticsnews.com/breaking-obama-received-30-million-from-ccp-linked-fugitive-according-to-leonardo-dicaprio-mace/?utm_source=JE99&utm_medium=twitter

[emphasis mine]

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio testified in a federal court Monday regarding the alleged involvement of a Malaysian financier, Jho Low, in a money-laundering scheme. The scheme involves funneling money through a prominent 90s rap artist to make donations to the re-election campaign of former President Barack Obama in 2012.

DiCaprio said, “It was a causal conversation about what party he was in support of, I told him what party I was in support of. And he told me that he, or he and a group, were going to make a significant contribution to the Democratic Party.”

“It was a significant sum… something to the tune of $20-30 million. I said, ‘Wow that’s a lot of money!’” the actor testified

DiCaprio and Obama have worked together on several occasions to raise awareness about climate change and the importance of environmental conservation.

Low has been a fugitive from justice since the scandal broke, and is believed to be hiding out in China. He has denied any wrongdoing, and has claimed that the charges against him are politically motivated.

The trial involving Pras Michel, which DiCaprio testified in, is just one of several legal proceedings related to the 1MDB scandal. Other individuals and entities have been charged with money laundering, bribery, and other crimes, and the US government has sought to recover assets purchased with allegedly stolen funds.

DOJ — Judgment Entered Against Fourteen Defendants In Case Dismantling Nationwide Racketeering Conspiracy

Latest Tranche of Sentencings Includes Lead Defendants in Drug Diversion Conspiracy

SAN FRANCISCO – On Thursday, March 23, 2023, and Friday, March 24, 2023, the federal court entered judgment against fourteen defendants, including cousins and ringleaders Mihran Stepanyan and Artur Stepanyan, who were sentenced for their respective roles in a variety of crimes stemming from a wide-ranging racketeering conspiracy involving diversion of prescription drugs, money laundering, mail and wire fraud, and additional crimes, announced United States Attorney Ismail J. Ramsey; Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge Robert K. Tripp; and Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation, Special Agent in Charge Darren Lian. The sentences were handed down by the Hon. Charles R. Breyer, Senior United States District Judge, and leaves nine defendants remaining to be sentenced for crimes committed in connection with the case.

The fourteen defendants had been charged with various crimes as part of a Second Superseding Indictment filed on February 11, 2016. The Second Superseding indictment alleged that 38 defendants were involved with the activities of a nationwide conspiracy, referred to in court documents as the Karapedyan-Stepanyan Enterprise (Enterprise), that engaged in, among other crimes, a multi-million-dollar prescription drug diversion scheme, a tax fraud and Treasury check scheme, and several other criminal schemes. Information about charges brought earlier in the case can be found here and information about several defendants’ guilty pleas can be found here…..

South Carolina Senator Tim Scott wants to run for president, and he is getting support from:

https://sports.yahoo.com/tim-scott-gets-senate-gop-100000726.html
I really loathe these people.

The main question surrounding Scott remains his chances at making a dent in the 2024 field and whether his “happy warrior” mentality is a fit at a time when anger remains prevalent throughout the GOP base. Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), a friend of Scott’s, believes that his chances could hinge on that issue.

“Americans always want change — always.

No, I don’t want change. I want what we had from 2017-2020. That’s the only thing that will save America.

We always want something new and fresh. … But we alternate between arsonists and carpenters,” Lankford said. “They have very different techniques on how they change things. … So we’ll see where everybody is as far as the electorate.”

“Change” is so Obama, so politics as usual. Just give the masses a new flavor and see if they like it. It’s actually insulting that they aren’t listening to the people.

Guessing this IS bad news…
The Fed’s Capital Goes Negative
The Federal Reserve’s new report of its balance sheet shows that in the approximately six months ended March 29 it has racked up a remarkable $44 billion of cumulative operating losses. That exceeds its capital of $42 billion, so the capital of the Federal Reserve System has gone negative to the tune of $2 billion—just in time for April Fools’ Day.

This event would certainly have surprised generations of Fed chairmen, governors, and, we’d have thought, newspapermen. The Fed’s capital will keep getting more negative in April and for some long time to come, at least if interest rates stay at anything like their current level. The Fed in the first quarter of 2023 reported losses running at the rate of $8.7 billion a month.

On an annual basis that would be a loss of over $100 billion. Recalling the famous line of Everett Dirksen—about how a billion here and a billion there starts to add up to real money—we are talking about serious losses. These are cash, operating losses. The mark to market of the assets in Fed’s balance sheet also caused an unrealized loss of $1.1 trillion as of September 30.

To see the negative capital from the Fed’s weekly “H.4.1” report, one does have to do a bit of the simple arithmetic of the first paragraph. The Fed’s balance sheet claims its capital is $42 billion, but in violation of the most obvious accounting principle (from which it conveniently excepts itself), the Fed does not subtract its operating losses from its capital as negative retained earnings.

Instead, it accumulates the losses as an opaque negative liability, which balance is found in Section 6 of the report under the title “Earnings remittances due to the U.S. Treasury.” These are simply negative retained earnings: to get the right answer, you just subtract them from the stated capital.

Although the Fed itself and its defenders say that its negative capital and its losses don’t matter to a central bank, they do mean the Fed has become a fiscal drag on the American Treasury, a current cost to the taxpayers instead of a contributor of profits to it, as, just for the record, it was for more than a century.

The situation is certainly unbecoming for what is supposedly the world’s greatest central bank. Did the Fed intend to lose this much money and drive its capital negative? I think that the answer is no. Yet the Fed seems never to have explained to Congress how big a big money-loser and fiscal drag it would become.

More… https://mises.org/wire/feds-capital-goes-negative
