MATTHEW 6:1-6, 16-18

1“Beware of practicing your piety before men in order to be seen by them; for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. 2“Thus, when you give alms, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 3But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your alms may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. 5“And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 6But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. 16“And when you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 17But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18that your fasting may not be seen by men but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

Honestly, with the Fiancee being around randomly and the mail sometimes showing up lately, I’m a bit confused.

TheseTruths

I might have missed it, but why is she around randomly?

cthulhu

She’s got a Federal government job, so she gets weird holidays. Plus, she works from home 40% of the time. When she is nominally here, she often goes on quests (e.g. “quilt classes”) where she is not here.

Problem is, if I have a project where I have to do anything major, she freaks out to the point where it is difficult to actually complete the project from time spent reassuring her.

TheseTruths

👍🏼

cthulhu

To be a little clearer…..

If there is a project where I have to demo a wall, or shut something down and remove things around it, or tear out some landscaping…..

I generally wait for The Fiancee to be out of town, because she freaks out when she sees the intermediate parts of a project.

If I can’t get things cleaned-up and covered-up by the end of the day, I generally won’t start them if she’s home.

This means that days she works from home are just lost — I can’t even change a light switch.

I thought that was Commander Peter Taggart of the NSEA Protector.

TheseTruths

He stole it. 😅 Winston Churchill, speech to Harrow School, October 29, 1941:

But for everyone, surely, what we have gone through in this period — I am addressing myself to the School — surely from this period of ten months this is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty — never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. We stood all alone a year ago, and to many countries it seemed that our account was closed, we were finished. All this tradition of ours, our songs, our School history, this part of the history of this country, were gone and finished and liquidated.

Very different is the mood today. Britain, other nations thought, had drawn a sponge across her slate. But instead our country stood in the gap. There was no flinching and no thought of giving in; and by what seemed almost a miracle to those outside these Islands, though we ourselves never doubted it, we now find ourselves in a position where I say that we can be sure that we have only to persevere to conquer.

This was before America entered the war after Pearl Harbor was attacked.

On December 7, 1941, following the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, the United States declared war on Japan. Three days later, after Germany and Italy declared war on it, the United States became fully engaged in the Second World War.

No more attribution. Trump said it umpteen times. Good enough for slow guy.

I think a lot of people have probably said something along those lines. I wouldn’t say that Trump stole it. I would only think that if someone used Churchill’s exact quote, because those are pretty commonly used words and concepts. They are something to rally around.

Kevin Bass, PhD, MS:

March 29, 2021. Rochelle Walensky, Director of CDC, infamously declared on MSNBC: “Vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick.”

New emails obtained by FOIA from Jan 30, 2021 now show that Walensky knew this was a lie at the time she said it.

See for yourself.

Without these lies, unconstitutional vaccine mandates would not have been possible.

That’s why she lied.

She and her colleagues need to be held accountable for these lies.

scott467

“She and her colleagues need to be held accountable for these lies.”

______________

Held accountable by whom?

When criminals were allowed to STEAL a presidential election, organized crime took over investigation, prosecution and law enforcement.

And since there was no flood of resignations in protest, they were certainly all ripe for the taking.

I don’t mean to burst the good doctor’s hope bubble, but criminals aren’t going to prosecute themselves.

It just isn’t done.

RDS

Notice that on the (heavily-redacted) email from Walensky, that she got a call from FRANCIS COLLINS (then-head of the NIH) and that COLLINS was discussing the “breakthrough” issue with ANTHONY FAUCI.
This means that NOT ONLY the CDC, but ALSO the NIH / NIAID knew what was going on regarding “breakthrough” infections after COVID-19 “vaccinations.”
Notice also the amount of (b) (5) redaction on the email. A (b) (5) redaction is an “all-purpose” redaction of ANY information that the officials involved in the government communication don’t want to have made public.
IMO, it may be a good idea to archive / print a hard copy of, the (heavily-redacted) email, just in case it ** somehow ** gets **scrubbed off ** the internet.

Notice also how Walensky is talking about “vaccinated people don’t get COVID and don’t carry the virus” — she’s tripping over her own words and looks distracted. IMO, she was having great difficulty in saying the “pablum” for the public, since she KNEW the truth and HAD to lie about it.

pgroup2

Paying attention to details without bogging down is a great skill. Nicely done.

RDS

You are very kind.
This email really brings something home to Yours Truly —
All the way through 2020, MD son, in contact with patients at his then-employer’s big NC hospital, had NO infection of COVID-19.
In January 2021, MD son was required by his then-employer to get the first shot of BNT162b2, so he followed the requirement.
In June, 2021, MD son was required by his then-employer to get the second shot of BNT162b2, so he followed the requirement.

In August, 2021, MD son came down with a bad “breakthrough” case of COVID-19. Affected his lungs. (One suspects that it took the TWO shots of BNT162b2 to sufficiently damage MD son’s immune system so as to leave him vulnerable to a COVID infection.)

Walensky, Collins, and Fauci knew back in JANUARY 2021 that “breakthrough” cases of COVID were happening in “vaccinated” people — and chose to LIE about it.

Huh. This sounds like a compounding couple of events. First I am seeing this. So, do you think the combination of shots created a ‘planned’ heightened condition?

I ask because my father had two Moderna shots, only because he had to have surgery.

He was dealing with a few issues, Melanoma, Parkinson’s and a malpractice condition but then developed a carcinoma on his head.

It so blossomed within a few months, looking like a grapefruit, one of the nurses said she “had never seen anything like it.”

Here is the article mentioned in the email. It was by one of the MOST honest people on the FDA’s advisory panel VRBPAC, a guy named Paul Offit.

He’s basically talking about how variants were making the vaccines increasingly worthless.

Note that this guy was one of only TWO to oppose the Omicron boosters, thinking they would not add any protection (and they didn’t).

Steve Kirsch:
I’ll donate $50K if Paul Offit takes the entire CDC recommended vaccine schedule in one sitting

He once said “healthy infants could safely get up to 100,000 vaccines at once.” It’s time to walk the talk. Take just one dose of each vaccine on the CDC childhood schedule in one sitting.

Executive summary

Dr. Paul Offit has said, “In theory, healthy infants could safely get up to 100,000 vaccines at once.” See this BMJ rapid response written by John Stone (Editor, Age of Autism) for the full story.

It’s time for Paul to walk the talk.

The offer

I will donate $50K to a charity of Offit’s choice if he’ll take every vaccine listed on the CDC childhood vaccine schedule up to age 18 in one sitting.

I’ll even make it easy

Dr. Offit only has to take one dose of each vaccine. The dose level injected shall be weight adjusted based on the first dose on the schedule and the average weight of babies at the time of that dose compared to the current weight of the participant.

No aspiration is allowed on each needle poke since that is what the CDC recommends.

No batch number selection can be made. This shouldn’t be a problem for Paul since all batches are equally safe, as we all know. Those who claim there are deadly batches are just conspiracy theorists!

If he has a headache after the shots, he must treat with Tylenol since that is perfectly safe to use. All those studies that show this dramatically increases the risk of autismare just misinformation since as we all know, vaccines don’t cause autism (despite all the evidence that vaccines cause autism).

No contraindications

This challenge is safe.

We know that because there are no contraindications on the FDA-approved labels of the vaccines that would indicate the challenge is unsafe.

More at the link. This is a fun challenge. 😎

cthulhu

Fun challenge? It’s attempted murder!

WSB

Murder 1 if completed. Or would that be suicide?

TheseTruths

It would be suicide because the guy would have knowingly done it. He won’t, of course. He needs to eat his words, but he won’t do that either.

It’s asking the guy to stand behind his claim that infants could safely get up to 100,000 vaccines at once. IMO, the strategy of what Kirsch is doing is very effective, and it will be interesting to see the excuses that the guy will make, because we know he’s not going to do it.

kalbokalbs

Suicide.

Dr. Paul Offitt is one of the FDA VRBPAC group’s members who ALL voted Yes to approve the “now in development and won’t be tested on humans before use” of the **new ** COVID-19 “monovalent XBB.1.5 vaccine” to be used THIS FALL.

Offit want’s to Off’em….

I’m a little torqued, but I’ve finally figured out why I can’t get a virtual machine to talk on my wireless network. Bottom line, the DHCP on the Linksys Velops suck and aren’t supporting bridged devices properly.

Short of ripping out the Velops, I’m not sure what the solution is going to be. I’m looking for a mesh network solution that isn’t going to balk when I do the smallest “non-standard” thing. Any ideas or recommendations on a replacement system?

Last edited 10 months ago by michaelh
cthulhu

I know this is going to sound a little weird…..but can you use a wireless adapter for ONLY the virtual machine, and handle the routing inside your box?

(Not sure what you’re trying to do, but if the Velops is looking at the host machine and refusing to consider a possible virtual machine inside it, maybe having it deal with the virtual machine separately would help.)

cthulhu

OK, next brainstorming concept — run your DHCP off a different device than the Velops. I’m sure there’s an option to turn DHCP off within the Velops (whatever that is), and you can insert a different (and more capable) device into your net to do DHCP how you want — the only consideration is it has to be able to hear the “Who am I? Where am I?” signal from the VM when it wakes up.

cthulhu

This review — https://www.tomsguide.com/us/linksys-velop,review-4290.html — of the Velop is over two years old. Have you updated your units to the latest software release?

cthulhu

Uh-oh….

This review — https://www.expertreviews.co.uk/linksys/1405708/linksys-velop-review — includes “To make matters worse, there’s no way of changing the way that Velop works and, in fact, the system doesn’t even give you control over the DHCP settings. The only option you have is to tell the Velop to reserve an IP address for a device, which is handy where you want a static address for a device such as a NAS.”

Worse yet, this review is from 2/15/23.

Maybe you could adapt your circumstances so that most of your mobile-ish devices can Velop, and you could do something more on the backbone with your VM? Why do you want a VM on a mesh?

michaelh

There’s a few different project I want to do with the VMs but they don’t need to be on a NAT. I’d prefer to have them where they are accessible by the Pis but the backbone might be a better option.

That, and I don’t want to use them all through the virtual console. For some reason, I hate virtual consoles.

Thanks for your input – at least I know I’m not crazy and others are seeing the same problems.

cthulhu

Well, remember that they’re calling out the Velop mesh as having a particularly bad DHCP — you can probably have your VMs on a NAT so long as it isn’t that one.

And it’s not like regular routers that do NAT are all-that expensive.

michaelh

That’s what I’m thinking.

TheseTruths

James O’Keefe’s group is getting spammed with emails from all different states’ organizations, making it difficult to see emails from his sources. He says it is a denial of service attack.

One of the attack tactics of doxxer’s is to use college applications and used car sales to flood an inbox – so just wait, I’m sure that’s coming next.

Politicians do not cost $10K. That would be ludicrous.

That $10K is the minimum fee PER JOB. Fees can be way higher for bigger jobs like getting a foreign DA fired, speaking for leniency on behalf of an exposed leaker or voting for or against impeachment.

Also, not anyone can buy a request. One has to be an approved Patron Of Scum (POS) to just be able to make a request.

It takes years to rise to that position of Scum, as well as years to rise to a position to accept Scummy money. All along the way, they are trained in the fine art of Treason, And How To Hide It.

$10k is probably their speaker fee – which is enough to pull a string somewhere.

I guess Tucker took all the knowledgeable proofreaders with him — this article says that the lost Titanic sub is somewhere in the Indian Ocean.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/former-fbi-diver-40-hours-oxygen-best-case-estimate-missing-titanic-tourist-submarine

“The last known position of the submarine is alleged to be somewhere over the Indian Ocean, making rescue efforts extremely difficult given the ‘vastness’ of the water, Chacon noted.”

michaelh

Wow no wonder they lost the sub, it was seriously off course.

My boss at work likes to remind us that there are more planes in the ocean than there are submarines in the sky.

scott467

That’s definitely gonna make it harder to find them.

TheseTruths

I was just reading about that. It’s a horrific situation, and I can’t imagine what the families are going through. I pray that the crew members are still alive and they will be rescued.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/titanic-submarine-shipwreck-expedition-missing-search-what-we-know/

…CBS News confirmed that in addition to Harding, British-Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, his son, Suleman, French explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and Stockton Rush, the CEO of OceanGate Expeditions, were on the vessel.

…Dubbed the Titan, OceanGate’s deep sea vessel is said to be the only five-person submersible in the world with capabilities to reach its depth at nearly 2 and a half miles beneath the ocean’s surface, CBS “Sunday Mornings” correspondent David Pogue reported last year.

It is one of three submersible crafts owned by OceanGate that appear on the company’s website, BBC News reported, adding that the vessel typically carries a pilot, three paying guests and another person described as a “content expert” by the company OceanGate’s site says the Titan, weighing around 23,000 pounds, has the ability to reach depths of up to 4,000 meters — over 13,000 feet — and has about 96 hours of life support for a crew of five people.

…Last summer, [CBS “Sunday Mornings” correspondent David] Pogue accompanied the Titan crew on the journey from Newfoundland to the site where the Titanic as lost. Several dive attempts had to be canceled when weather conditions indicated it may not be safe. At the time, he described the Titan as a one-of-a-kind submersible craft made from thick carbon fiber and coated on both ends by a dome of titanium.

Ahead of the planned dive, Pogue recalled signing paperwork that read, in part, “This experimental vessel has not been approved or certified by any regulatory body, and could result in physical injury, emotional trauma, or death.”

Space inside the submarine was similar to the interior of a minivan, and, with just one button and a video game controller used to steer it, the vessel “seemed improvised, with off-the-shelf components,” Pogue said.

On his voyage, the sub was lost for a few hours, Pogue said.

“There’s no GPS underwater, so the surface ship is supposed to guide the sub to the shipwreck by sending text messages,” he reported at the time. “But on this dive, communications somehow broke down.”

Yikes!

TheseTruths

From the same article:

What could’ve happened inside

Butch Hendrick, president and founder of Lifeguard Systems — a company that conducts dive training for public safety officers — told CBS News Tuesday that it’s possible the Titan had reached the ocean floor when it lost communication. Hendrick speculated the Titan “could have gotten itself entangled somewhere,” which could have caused the “communication antenna” to become “dislodged” and “broken,” prompting the vessel to lose communication.

Hendrick also explained that it was more likely that the Titan would have “leaked and flooded” rather than imploded. He said that, at the depth of the Titanic’s wreckage, the pressure is about 5,000 pounds per square inch (PSI) greater than the pressure at sea level.

“There’s no opening a gate, there’s no opening a window, there’s no making an interactive lock,” Hendrick said, adding that a possible leak could potentially impact the submersible’s electrical system.

“If that happened, then it may be again that they could still be alive, interior, breathing, and hoping for someone to come and get them,” Hendrick said.

cthulhu

I’m really catching the vibe that this Butch Hendrick guy has no f’in’ clue as to what he’s talking about. When he says “leaked and flooded”, he’s not going to get a “drip drip drip”.

Let’s just check the pressure, roughly — 12,000 feet. You get one BAR or 15 psi for every 33 feet. 12,000 is 120 100’s, and each 100 is 3 33’s. That gives you 360 BAR or 5400 psi. Good, that checks out.

If you have a pinhole at 5000 psi, that will shoot a jet of water capable of cutting through many substances (including people). Fortunately, it’s only about 1/8 the pressure used in an actual waterjet cutter [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_jet_cutter ] — unfortunately, it wouldn’t be controlled.

cthulhu

I talked to a guy demonstrating a benchtop waterjet cutter at a Maker Faire some years back. Essentially, every second that you run it, it is tearing itself apart — whether or not you are cutting anything useful at the time.

cthulhu

I should point out that standard SCUBA tanks are routinely filled with air to 3000 PSI. They must be inspected periodically and filled to beyond working pressure in special facilities every few years.

I wouldn’t dive with a carbon-fiber tank.

scott467

“I wouldn’t dive with a carbon-fiber tank.”

_______

The whole thing sounds like a hoax, it’s so ridiculous.

kalbokalbs

This. Hence my Babylon bee comment elsewhere.

Until today, I never thought anyone would be so ignorant to design such a death trap.

Then dummies pay to, roll the dice with their lives.

Aubergine

I think this thing is fake.

Can you calculate what size tank would be required for 96 hours of oxygen for five people?

pgroup2

Likely it has a re-breathing system that scrubs the carbon dioxide out.

scott467

It should, but the real submariner in the video says he didn’t see anything like that in any of the photos, and didn’t see it mentioned anywhere.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

They never tested this thing for 5 people or 96 hours. IMO it’s entirely possible that 5 people stressed the system beyond capabilities before it ever got to the floor of the ocean. Possibly at the point that communication was lost.

Sending that thing down without some kind of cable just seems like folly.

Cuppa Covfefe

Just like the “vaccines”…

The “science” is settled…

“Old White Guys” are just too stodgy…

kalbokalbs

Yup, I, we, are a pox on society.

Aubergine

Ah.

cthulhu

For diving, an aluminum 80 has a working pressure of 3000 psi and is good for about 40 minutes for one person. That’s a cylindrical tank about three feet long and ten inches across, holding air.

Aubergine

They’d need an awfully big tank for 96 hours. Unless there’s something better. Pgroup said a re-breathing system?

cthulhu

Well, to start with, you’d need 21% of the volume if you had oxygen and not air — but you’d need something to remove the carbon dioxide.

Aubergine

Hmmm….

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

If it IS oxygen, they risk the Apollo 1 disaster all over again.

kalbokalbs

Yup.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Scary. The malfunctioning trash unit sounds very plausible. If those were problematic at normal depths, they would be many times more so at real depth.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Reading about the complexity of the temperature-pressure-metal-ice-problems on the Thresher and sister subs, tells me that every dive by this experimental carbon craft was a risky death ride, even to 1000 feet.

cthulhu

If you’re working in a steam plant and suspect a pinhole leak — and, mind you, this is probably more like 300 psi — it’s common to run a broom near the leak’s suspected location. Because steam is a gas, the jet from the leak is invisible — but it is plenty to shear the bristles off of a broom. It can also shear fingers off of a hand if you prefer to eschew tools.

Valerie Curren

Yikes that puts my hubby’s dad’s & granddad’s steamfitter &/or pipefitter jobs in a rather alarming perspective!

pgroup2

Yeah, those two were prime examples of evil toxic masculinity.

Valerie Curren

LOL Too bad he barely knew his dad, his mom left him when he was just starting grade school, & he didn’t even know his granddad’s name. Sadly he didn’t get to hear any of the woes of that kind of work firsthand, if those guys were even of the type to jaw about their challenges apart from with co-workers &/or buddies.

cthulhu

Another thing is — from my limited knowledge of carbon-fiber objects — they are wildly strong in a way that is uncanny…..until one tiny piece is overstressed….whereupon the entire structure rapidly decomposes.

One of the articles about the fired guy talked about painting the shell before every dive and examining the paint for evidence of cracking. Thing is, though, if there were micro-cracks in the thing — my understanding is you swap that entire part out.

scott467

You know the old seaman’s saying, a fresh coat of paint each day keeps 5,000 pounds per square inch of pressure at bay.

ACME wouldn’t even let Wile E. Coyote try a stunt like this.

kalbokalbs

Dozens of things could have gone wrong.

Someone will wasted the money to salvage that submersible. Then we’ll know.

Yes. Here is a summary of what the Navy expert previously referenced has to say:

People paid $250,000 to ride in that sub. You couldn’t pay me to do it.

kalbokalbs

His list is a nice start. I’m no expert. He is a sub veteran. Given a little more time, that list would be several pages.

Pure ignorance on display by the CEO, “inspirational driver” and three cash paying dopes.

kalbokalbs

My guess..

CEO shunned ~50 yo white guys as they are NOT an inspiration.

ME

~50 yo white guys, asked too many questions about safety, what ifs, etc.Subject Matter Experts WITH hands on experience unacceptable.ACCEPTABLE, “know it all”, college grads, with a damn piece of paper.Safety AND redundancy typical in US Submarines. Prolly ALL Navies with submarines.

DId not catch how many, if any successful dives this submersible made to 4,000′.

My take IS None. Not PC, don’t care.

Three cash paying customers stoopid, they didn’t do appropriate research.
Zero chance any sane person would go on that thing submerged AT ANY DEPTH. Even get bolted into their coffin.
Happy to get a double helping of stanky crow, IF they survive.

Doesn’t change the safety and redundant systems requirement for submersibles.

IMO, if they survive, all of the facts and concerns raised by experts and people here still apply.

kalbokalbs

Absolutely. If they survive, it’ll be pure dumb luck.

There is no excuse for not following safety protocols, when submerging.

pgroup2

I suspect it’s a big hoax so five people can be declared dead. And then go on to live new lives on some island in the South Pacific.

Cuppa Covfefe

Have to wonder what are they trying to cover up (if this is a FF of some sort)…

In any case I have real problems with folks making money off of the tragedy of the Titanic (and I hate the fact that they made a movie about it).
Let the poor victims of that tragedy rest in peace, and not profit from them.

(And there are multiple theories about that disaster being a way to “off” some enemies of the banksters back then…)….

TheseTruths

According to the CBS story I posted, the CEO is one of those on board the sub.

Ian Miles Cheong:

The CEO of OceanGate, which is operating the missing Titanic tourist submarine, explains that the company didn’t want to hire any experienced “50 year old white guys” because they weren’t “inspirational.”

It used to be that young people respected their elders who had blazed trails before them, and the young ones never gave a thought to age, race, or gender. It would still be that way if people would stop talking about those things

The guy narrating that video is a 20-year Navy submarine expert. Here is a 20-minute video of him talking about the situation.

kalbokalbs

Fools are Darwin Award candidates.

Reckless is an understatement.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I listened to the 50 year old Navy sub guy until I couldn’t stand the shivers and cringe of how idiotic this operation was any more. I planned my house safety for fire, smoke and toxic gases better than that damn homebrew submarine! I built kid forts safer than that sub!

scott467

Seems like maybe a sonar beacon would be a good add to a submersible like this.

On second thought, that’s probably the kind of thing a ~50 yo white guy would think of.

Never mind.

kalbokalbs

Even a buoy. When released it would know its exact location, transmit on whatever frequency.

As noted, ^^^ unacceptable. Uninspiring ~50 yo white guy thought of it.

Best to stick with college grads, to ensure receipt of The Darwin Award.

Cuppa Covfefe

A buoy…. isn’t that sexist???

It is on par with that bridge in Florida that was designed and built by college-supposedly-educated students, that fell down onto the thoroughfare where it was built.

This thing appears just as unviable.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

WHOA! I didn’t know that about that bridge!!!

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I saw a rather lengthy thing about that (pedestrian bridge); it was basically not just a poor design, but there were plenty of missed warning signs of trouble.

Almost any major structure these days will be produced by “college educated” people…the huge majority of them don’t fail.

slowcreekno

Yes, I know several civil engineers, who happen to be college-educated since they wouldn’t have been civil engineers otherwise — and none of their designed structures ever had any problems staying in place. Hence the «-supposedly-» in there.

cthulhu

My dad told me that civil engineers from UC Berkeley were the best if you wanted fancy models and lovely presentations, but that the structures designed by Cal Poly civil engineers just didn’t fail.

Take that to the bank!

scott467

They used a wireless controller… what could possibly go wrong…

It just keeps getting better.

The only way to get into or out of the sub is through a hatch that is BOLTED ON from the OUTSIDE with 17 large bolts.

It’s not a submersible, it’s a coffin.

This whole thing is crazy.

cthulhu

It’s crazy at the surface, but at 12,000 ft and 5,000 psi it’s not that weird, especially compared to the other eccentricities of design….

RAC

I don’t know if it’s normal for craft like that, but the idea of not being able to effect an escape oneself even if bobbing about on the surface, would be an absolute NO !!!

(Hmmm… how’d they fit the cellphones onto that…)…

Valerie Curren

Those look like 2 different views of the Same thing to me…fwiw…

Cuppa Covfefe

Two different models of Anderson-Jacobson acoustic couplers, AJ211 and AJ311, the latter of which appears to have had a tough life… They modulated/demodulated (hence MO DEM) the digital signals from computers (and fax machines) into the squawks, clips, beeps, pops and other noise you’d hear if the modem’s speaker was on (or if you dialed someone’s fax line by mistake).

You’d put the phone handset into the rubber cups, with the cord end on the one labelled “cord” (which cellphones don’t have 🙂 ). Dial the number of the other fax or computer, and pray… sometimes you’d end up with a (confused or angry) human on the other end… My mom moved (long time ago) and got a recycled phone number which previously had been a fax line… she got it changed again right quick….

I used both of those modems many, MANY years ago, and folks nowadays have no idea of the joy of dialup coms (and BBSs, etc.)… sigh… those were the days… noisy line, fall back to 110 baud 😮

[To be clearer, an acoustic coupler is a special subset of modems, designed to convert digital signals to analog signals which could travel along voice telephone lines without too many problems {chokes, loading coils, amplifiers, line-conditioning, etc. can be a hassle}… “pure” data lines (e.g. leased-lines, T1, etc., were eye-wateringly expensive) so acoustic couplers were the way to go]…

Then along came X.25, packet switching, Gandalf Switches, and a whole different meaning of Telnet than what most people use today…
and it used modems, too, of a very different nature…

(I’m leaving a lot out, and I may have garbled some stuff since I haven’t had enough Covfefe yet)…

Valerie Curren

Very interesting. I recognized the “normal” telephone handset “inputs” AND it reminded me of a huge machine I got to play on at school for the Oregon Trail (computer?) game. This would have been in the late 70’s in Michigan. I remember the sounds of dial up stuff back in our AOL days too 😉

slowcreekno

There would have to be acoustics — radio waves don’t go very far down into the sea, and definitely not several thousand meters down. But the lack of redundant, backup solutions is appalling… and while a phone interrupting all the time can be a nuisance, the solution would be to turn the bell (or equivalent off) when not wanting to be interrupted. The thing is still great for outgoing calls, if not merely vital.

Submarine update:

‘Likely signs of life have been detected’: Rescue plane hunting Titanic sub with five on board ‘hears banging’ every 30 minutes near wreck site, giving ‘hope’ the men are ALIVE – but redirected drones fail to find missing vessel

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12216977/Searchers-Titanic-Tourist-Sub-Heard-Banging-Area-Internal-Comms-Reveal.html

A Canadian aircraft heard noises at 30-minute intervals in the area the capsule vanished on Tuesday. The banging was noted in emails exchanged with the US Department of Homeland Security and seen by Rolling Stone, but it was not clear when they were heard.

Coast Guard officials confirmed underwater noises were heard by a plane and operations were ‘relocated’ to determine the origin. But as of early Wednesday, they have ‘yielded negative results’.

Rescue crews will further analyze the data, which could be considered for future search plans in the deep Atlantic Ocean since the submersible launched Sunday and quickly lost contact with the surface.

Richard Garriot de Cayeux, President of The Explorers Club, confirmed in a Tuesday night social media post that ‘there is cause for hope.’

He said in a statement: ‘We have much greater confidence that 1) There is cause for hope, based on data from the field – we understand that likely signs of life have been detected at the site.’

The vessel’s oxygen supply was estimated at 96 hours, which gives rescue teams until Thursday morning to find the vessel.

More at the link, including graphics and photos.

It is playing out too much like a movie script. Sub is “lost,” with a 96 hour oxygen supply (really? how do they manage THAT?); all-hands rescue deployed; “signs of life” heard at 24 hours of oxygen left, then…..

They’ll find them miraculously alive, with minutes of oxygen left. Watch and see.

I would call the movie “The Second Titanic Disaster,” and make a fortune.

Also — carry Notarized and/or Witnessed copies of the most important documents (DNR or Do Resuscitate, Power of Attorney, Living Will) when outside the house. If you have to give the medical staff copies of any of the documents, give them the copies, NOT the originals. The originals need to be kept in a secure place either in the home or at the bank in a safe-deposit box.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Larry’s latest:

https://sonar21.com/biden-and-america-have-a-major-china-problem/

“I hear that the Chinese are going to add the image of Antony Blinken to the dictionary definition of “Kow Tow.” He went to Beijing, hat in hand, and received a less than warm welcome. The term, “frosty” comes to mind. Blinken and his Chinese hosts engaged in a one-sided “frank exchange of views” (i.e., a phrase used by diplomats to describe a tense, angry conversation). The Chinese delivered and Blinken ended up saying what the Chinese demanded he say — “the U.S. does not support Taiwan Independence.”

I find it a bit hilarious. Blinken simply restated the One China Policy negotiated and implemented by Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger 51 years ago. What Blinken said has been the cornerstone of U.S. policy towards China for decades. But that is not how it was received back home in America.”

By the autumn of 1989, the Berlin Wall was coming down, Velvet Revolution in CSSR, Poland kicking out the Commies. The Warsaw Pact dissolved. And then, in ‘91 the Soviet Union collapsed. Does it get any better than that? We WON!

Hey, even the CPC woke up and smelled the coffee. Deng implemented economic reforms, and despite the label, the PRC was transformed from a Communist state into a capitalist powerhouse. We fell all over ourselves in the ‘90s sending our manufacturing technology to the PRC. Our top dogs got even more of the bone, while Joe Six-Pack was forced to trade his high paying mfg. job for managing a 7-11 at 1/3 the pay.

Somewhere along the way, Joe Six-Pack figured out that the whole point was NEVER the defeat of International Bolshevism, but destroying America.

So all the huffing and puffing of folks like Sen. Blackburn won’t change a thing. To paraphrase Lenin, we sold them the rope they’re hanging us with.

The question for today is not about who should be the scapegoat, but how do we come to terms not only with the end of American dominance in the world, but more importantly, how do we come to terms with the end of Anglo-Saxon relevance in the world. A world in which Anglos will be relegated to a minor role in international affairs, a world in which they’ll have to learn how to shut up and mind their own business.

IMO, the founders of our American Republic were correct in advising us to avoid the diseases and temptations of the Old World. Sadly, we’ve been on the road to this destination since the Wilson administration, over a century ago. You can’t fix a century-long decline in a few short years, but you can whet the people’s appetite to begin fixing the problem. The difficulty will be in discerning who is merely a demagogue, and who a Patriot.”

I hate for that to be stated out loud, but maybe it’s for the best to let them know we’re on to them. Also:

It is unclear whether a US president can be imprisoned. Federal law requires all former presidents to have the protection of two Secret Service agents for their lifetime. As it is impossible to put Secret Service agents in prison, how can a former president be imprisoned?

The fact that such a thing needed to be stated means the whole thing is preposterous.

It’s been my thought for a very long time that DJT was useful to DS for a myriad of things but when they no longer need to use him as a scapegoat, distraction, fall guy, boogeyman, etc they will take measures to eliminate him.
There’s probably not one of us here that doesn’t believe that had they wanted him permanently gone before now…it would’ve been done. I keep praying for the annihilation of the DS and other cohorts but…they remain so far

I don’t think they can do that, he’s too popular by far.

The Crims should be doing everything possible to protect DJT’s life, because if anything happens to him, everyone in the world would know he was murdered by the Crims.

Making DJT a martyr, and making the Crims legitimate targets for reprisal, everywhere, all at once, by everyone.

If they pull that curtain back, if they expose themselves fully and completely by harming DJT, then no one has any reason to hold back any longer.

It’s on.

I really do want to believe that but I don’t. We’ve already seen all of the crimes exposed which we previously thought would really really be IT, the eyes of all opened up yet here we are.

They only maintain control so long as the People don’t spontaneously (or otherwise) erupt.

If the Crims do something which causes such a spontaneous eruption, it’s over for the Crims, because there are never anywhere near enough Crims to stop the People, if something causes the righteous anger of the People to outweigh the People’s fear.

Rep. Lauren Boebert Introduces Articles of Impeachment Against Joe Biden, Forcing Imminent House Floor Vote (VIDEO)

On Tuesday night, Representative Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) introduced articles of impeachment via a privileged motion to force a vote against Joe Biden in the coming days.

The resolution, known as H. Res. 503, outlines the impeachment articles against Biden for high crimes and misdemeanors.

The articles claim that Biden’s regime pursued an open borders agenda, knowingly releasing over 2 million illegal immigrants into the United States without proper immigration court proceedings or guarantees.

…“I am bringing my articles of impeachment against Joe Biden to the House Floor in a privileged motion, meaning that every Member of Congress must vote on holding Joe Biden accountable,” Boebert tweeted.

So every member of the House will have to be on record with a yea or nay on this. Every Dem will be nay.

kalbokalbs

Every member must vote. What does this really mean?

  • ALL, must vote yea or nay?
  • Is, “Present” acceptable?
  • Is, “No Vote” Present acceptable?

Grateful Boebert stepped up. Wondering why, it took so long. (Rhetorical)

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

This is for Gail and TradeBait mostly, but others are welcome to opine. Minor warning about “antisemitism”, but IMO it does have some merit in explaining how the centuries-old banking cartel and elite mobsters have cornered Judaism as cover.

What this is, is an “alternative” view of the financials of Germany during the early 20th century. Basically what they’re saying is that the banksters only funded Germany until they didn’t, and that they needed the war against Germany just like they needed the war against Libya. Financial freedom from banksterism is a disease they cannot let spread.

A bit too much glorification of national socialism for me, but are the financial and historical facts accurate? The whole thing seems a bit revisionist.

barkerjim

Very interesting!

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I thought it was, too. It makes a lot of sense, and explains a lot. Also helps explain why people trusted Hitler and the Nazis, once the economy started improving, and the Nazis could begin more radical “transformations”.

TradeBait2

There is much truth in it at first blush. I need to analyze more critically this evening what is being stated. The early implementation for recovery appears correct to me and the people responded positively after years of great suffering.

The Jewish involvement had nothing to do with religion, it had to do with a sect of people who consider themselves superior due to their financial access and controls. I view those who participate as these did as their own separate mafia that unfortunately gets lumped in with the broader group causing the latter to be misrepresented. Religion ended up being used as the reason for extermination due to Hitler and cronies becoming deranged with hate.

You don’t have to be mafia to do business as equals with mafia. You just have to know the risks and have an exit plan. Which is how it all went sideways – no exit plan that addressed the variables. They were too busy trying to dominate the world militarily and purify the population; meanwhile the balance of world power shifted. There is no doubt the Rothschild connected banksters flipped sides when Hitler’s crew was wrecking havoc on the German debt prison, which included connected Americans being involved in their ranks.

War is big business. It was then and is now. However, once it became a raging fire all bets were off and the numbers no longer worked for the Nazis.

Just like in Ukraine.

BRICS is doing their version, only using gold for the currency instead of work certificates, which was a pretty sharp way of doing it back then considering the deep hole they were in.

Which is why no one (who is tasked with putting their lives on the line) should ever go to war.

Just refuse.

Because it’s not about honor, or patriotism, or national survival, it’s just for money that all goes to a tiny percentage of the population — who never risk anything.

So imagine if the PEOPLE of the world — since we can all communicate with each other now, without going through governments or state departments or ambassadors, etc. — imagine if the PEOPLE of the world simply bypassed the government power structures, and agreed to never engage in a war of aggression.

Imagine if the PEOPLE of the world decided they would only ever fight if their own nation was under attack.

The banksters would really be up sh!t creek then, and so would the political-class.

And it’s hard to imagine any two groups who belong up sh!t creek more than those two.

The whole ‘antisemitism’ trope seems to be just like the ‘rayciss’ trope.

There are lots of bad people who happen to be Jewish, just like there are lots of bad people in any large group.

But if a bad person who is Jewish gets called out, TCTB circle the wagons and denounce whoever called the bad person out as an ‘antisemite’.

It’s like me saying Bill Gates is a bad guy, so rather than examine whether that might actually be true, TCTB just call me anti-white and move on. It’s a sort of cover, a way for the actual bad guys to avoid ever having to defend or explain themselves, because rayciss antisemitism.

Boston: City Leaders Quiet About 4 Kids Found At South Boston Transgender Party Filled With Dead Bodies, Sex Toys, Drugs
https://tbdailynews.com/city-leaders-quiet-about-4-kids-found-at-south-boston-transgender-party-filled-with-dead-bodies-sex-toys-drugs/

From the Boston Herald:

Four children living in squalid conditions while being hidden from first responders were found in an apartment filled with “alcohol, drugs, sex toys” and a dead man, according to an incident report and outraged officials.

That fire department report, obtained by the Herald and confirmed by police response, states that a BFD crew was sent to Old Colony Avenue Saturday morning for a call that a man had gone into cardiac arrest and required medical attention. That address is the Mary Ellen McCormack Housing complex run by the city. However, according to the incident report, firefighters found more than just a routine medical emergency.

“The apartment was in extremely unsanitary conditions. Approximately 6 adults, who appeared to be males, were seen in the apartment,” they wrote, saying they subsequently found “four children in the back bedroom being hidden by an adult male from first responders.”

According to the incident report the children ranged from ages 5 to 10.

It is unclear whether the children were relatives of the people the fire department described as “appearing to be male” or if they lived in the apartment.

Flaherty, Public Safety chairman on the council, told the Herald Monday night the dead body found on the floor was “from an apparent overdose” and that “a man wearing a wig claiming to be the father” of the kids was found in a back bedroom.

Multiple sources tell the Herald some of the adults were dressed as women when first responders arrived at the scene.

Happy Pride month! Perhaps City Councilor Julia Mejia should do something about the fact that pedos are using public housing to have drug fueled parties with children, instead of suing award winning journalists for asking questions about alleged police coverups.

Trafficked children, I bet.

The words “cis” or “cisgender” are considered slurs on this platform.

I’ve noticed that trans movement people seem to throw those terms around as slurs when they are actually just their descriptions of normal people.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Trans activists know that normies who reject the transgender ideology don’t like the term “cis”.

I find “cis” annoying mostly for scientific reasons. The abuse of scientific terminology is just par for the course with the left. But I find that throwing both neologisms and rehabilitated retro labels out there (Trantifa, commies) works, too. I just avoid directing them at people personally, except public figures (but again, not directly at them).

They do use “cis” as a slur, but normies use “trannies” as a slur, too. Thankfully, Gab lets people use slurs. THAT is real free speech.

Trans means “across” or “the other side of”. Transylvania is the land on the other side of the woods, just as Pennsylvania is Penn’s woods. The area next to Moldova known as “Transnistria” is on the other side of “nistria”, whatever that is (maybe a river).

Cis is on the same side.

scott467

Just as Trannyville is on the far side of Homoland, the worst part of town.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

In chemistry, “trans” means “on opposite sides” and “cis” means “on the same side”. These are common in organic and organometallic chemistry, for describing spatial isomers.

Here are two examples.

In Democrat Messed-Up Gender, “cis” basically means “normal” and “trans” means “swapped from the other”. So anybody who thinks their gender and sex are the same, is “cis”.

scott467

“…but normies use “trannies” as a slur, too.”

_____________

Who wants to type out T R A N S G E N D E R three or four times in a paragraph, when it can be abbreviated ‘tranny’?

It’s the same reason most names are shortened to one or two syllables (i.e., John vs. Johnathan, Ann or Annie vs. Annabelle, etc.), because any long word you use frequently becomes ridiculous after the first few times.

It’s why most dogs have only one or two syllable names… you’re gonna say it a few million times (______ no! _______ stop! _______ don’t eat that! _______ drop it!), so you don’t want a LONG name for your dog 😂

It’s the same thing with tranny, homo, fag, lesbo, it’s just what people do with language, especially when extra pretentious people give themselves long descriptors.

Any ‘slur’ aspect is the responsibility of the people doing the depraved or immoral acts, because there’s no way (with words) to make the things they do less offensive than they already are to begin with.

If ‘homo’ is considered to be a ‘slur’, it’s only because ‘homosexual’ is also a slur, because homosexual conduct is depraved and immoral, not because someone abbreviated ‘homosexual’ to ‘homo’. It’s not as if perverted sex is a ‘good’ thing so long as it’s referred to by a five syllable word instead of a two syllable word.

There is nothing that is more ‘acceptable’ about ‘homosexual’ conduct as opposed to ‘homo’ conduct, just as there is nothing more ‘acceptable’ about ‘transsexual’ as opposed to ‘tranny’.

So any negative connotation (slur) is due to the conduct that is recognized by the long version of the word itself. A shortened version of the same word (e.g., tranny vs. transsexual) does not increase (or decrease) the inherent negative connotation.

The enemy uses language as a weapon of war, to control their opposition (us) and to influence conduct and behavioral changes they want to establish.

In relative peacetime, I am reasonably restrained.

But when the enemy is engaged in unrestricted warfare, as they certainly are now, why should anyone accommodate the enemy’s psychological and peer-pressure attempts to control our behavior?

Better to purposely use the words they dislike most.

I just don’t get what it is that our side seems incapable of understanding about the need to resist and fight back.

What enemy, or criminal, will EVER stop, so long as his victim just sits there and takes it? The enemy considers that weakness, and weakness is provocative, it encourages more of the same harmful treatment.

It’s certainly well and good to turn the other cheek, to a point.

Do we turn the other cheek if some criminal attacks our wife or sister or child?

Or do we have a higher duty and obligation to PROTECT them?

How are we protecting anyone, by allowing a highly organized and well funded all-out war on our society, by turning the other cheek?

When alll that is necessary for evil to succeed, is for good men to remain silent?

I reject their made up words completely. I don’t even know what most of their terms mean.

Until then, it can *&^% off.

MOSCOW, June 21 – RIA Novosti.

Russia has broken through the economic blockade of the West, Ruslan Davydov, acting head of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia, said, quoted by the press service of the department.

“At Upper Lars, the economic blockade that the countries of Europe have set up for us is now being broken . We are able to pass 15 million tons of cargo along the North-South corridor,” he said.

According to Davydov, last year for 5.5 months in the region of the North Caucasus Customs Administration, FCS employees processed 5.6 million tons of cargo going in both directions, and for the same period of the current year – already 7.8 million tons.
“I think that this year we will exceed 15 million tons of turnover in the North Caucasus. We have more than 20 percent growth in trade turnover only in Upper Lars,” the acting head of the service said.

The FCS noted that after the launch on June 15 this year of additional control lines for freight transport, the border crossing passes an average of about 1.2 thousand trucks daily, while before the reconstruction – less than a thousand.

Davydov today visited the checkpoint “Upper Lars” during a working visit to North Ossetia.

Checkpoint “Verkhny Lars” is a strategically important element of the international transport corridor “North-South”. Every minute the border for entry and exit is crossed by one car, and every two minutes – by one truck. Now there are 39 lanes on Upper Lars: 12 for trucks, two for buses, one reserve and 24 for cars.

McCarthy opposes Boebert’s privileged resolution to impeach Biden
https://12ft.io/proxy?ref=&q=https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/house/mccarthy-opposes-boebert-privileged-resolution-to-impeach-biden

Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) opposes Rep. Lauren Boebert’s (R-CO) privileged resolution to impeach President Joe Biden and believes her resolution can harm the House’s investigations into Biden and his family.

Boebert filed a privileged resolution to impeach Biden on Tuesday, meaning House leadership has two days to schedule the vote. The resolution, if it comes to the floor for a vote, will likely face a successful motion to table as now the speaker and many other House Republicans oppose the measure.

“If we just bring something to the floor with only two days’ notice, what case have you made to the American public?” McCarthy asked. “I take this role very seriously, I take swearing and upholding the Constitution. So if it ever rises to that level, I’m not opposed to moving impeachment. But just to put something on the floor because someone disagrees with somebody is not the responsibility, I believe, of doing it correctly.”

Contrary to Boebert, McCarthy said, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) worked with other members on her privileged resolution to censure Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and got all the facts behind it when she brought it to the floor. It failed the first time because of its multimillion-dollar fine, not because people opposed censuring Schiff.

McCarthy also referenced the House investigations into Biden, his son Hunter Biden, and other members of his family. He said an impeachment resolution could harm the House’s investigation and getting to the bottom of some of the allegations surrounding Joe Biden and Hunter Biden.

McCarthy said nobody was given a heads-up that Boebert planned on filing a privileged resolution to impeach Biden. The two spoke by phone on Tuesday around 4 p.m., and McCarthy asked for her to come and talk to the conference about the resolution before she put it on the floor, he said. But Boebert skipped the GOP Conference meeting on Wednesday morning, so she did not pitch it to her colleagues.

McCarthy believes that flippantly moving to impeach Biden within two days and doing so outside of regular order is comparable to what House Republicans will be voting to censure Schiff for.

“We’re gonna censure Schiff for actually doing the exact same thing, lying to the American public and taking us through impeachment. We’re going to turn around the next day and try to do the same thing that Schiff did? I just don’t think that’s honest to the American public,” McCarthy said.

The last two paragraphs make no sense to me.

It looks as if the House is in disarray. We have some members trying to take action, but McCarthy and others think that’s not the most effective way to move forward. I understand that point, but there is plenty of evidence to impeach Biden on the border alone. Then it goes to the Senate for trial, and evidence can be presented there. Repubs are not making Dems squirm.

phoenixrising

You understand ‘the point McCarthy presents’ –

which however may not be valid or factual.

I recall and the media reported that

“Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry, directing a handful of House committees to continue their monthslong investigations into President Trump. Closed-door testimony…”

McCarthy, supported by others of the Uniparty, will not ALLOW an impeachment of Biden. It’s not on their agenda.

Real question in my mind is: Why did Trump support a credentialled member of the Uniparty as Speaker of the House?

phoenixrising

What DOES the Speaker do?

The speaker fills three primary roles.

First, they are the most visible and authoritative spokesperson for the majority party in the House. Speakers articulate an agenda and explain legislative action to other Washington officials as well as the public. They oversee House committee assignments and collaborate with the powerful House Rules Committee to structure floor debate.

Second, the speaker manages business on the floor and navigates legislative rules, structuring House debate in a way that will advantage their legislative priorities. Adherence to strict rules and procedures is necessary to overcome the difficulty of managing a large legislative body like the House of Representatives.

Third, the speaker oversees everything from accounting to procurement for the House.

If the goal with the vax was depop, then people like Bill Gates had to have known that it would harm and kill people. Therefore, he could not have taken the same thing the plebeians did (if he took anything at all).

Also, he and the other plotters had to protect those they care about, so there’s a circle of protected people surrounding the plotters. How many of those people knew what was going on, and how many got saline when they thought they were getting the real vax? Loose lips sink ships, so I don’t think too many people could have been in on the plot. I imagine the spouses and children got “special” doses from private sources and were not allowed to get vaxed anywhere else because it might not be “safe.” That’s probably how all health care works for them; they don’t go to Walgreen’s to get a vax.

Which makes me wonder about anything else they might be planning. Deadly agents released into the air would affect everyone. There would be a risk of creating a deadly pathogen that the plotters could not escape from and control. It all makes sense now that COVID could be made to be scary enough to further their goals of vaxing, masking, and election cheating with drop boxes and the like, but it was reasonably controllable for those in the know.

I have no doubt that they are planning another scare event. I wish we had someone on the inside who could thwart it and bring them to justice.

I wonder if someone can confirm that the 2023 #s are accurate & they could do a projection for the Year based on that monthly(?) data perhaps.

Sounds like a Steve or Cthulhu superpower needed!

TY for your very important thoughts here!!!

All this information is available here:

https://www.cancer.org/research/cancer-facts-statistics/all-cancer-facts-figures/2023-cancer-facts-figures.html

Breast cancer cases in 2023, so far, in women totals 297,790. The year is half over.

In 2022, that number was 287,850. For the entire year.

In 2021, the number was 281, 550.

2020 was 276,480.

2019, 268, 600.

If 2023 continues on this track, the number will be double the numbers of any of the last four years.

kalbokalbs

Thanks for posting. Was trying to validate his numbers.

Good job!

Valerie Curren

Thx 🙂 Always Appreciate an “A” Atta-girl!

fwiw the 2023 “estimate” was based on trends going back a number of years & given the 2022 # roughly doubled the previous few years it’s likely, at least to my way of thinking, that they may have Significantly Underestimated the “likely” deaths, horrifyingly!

OK one of the replies to the original gab found the last chart here:

As they pointed out the number the guy in the video quoted is an estimate for All ages…for the under 45 category the 2023 estimate is 48,780 which is still roughly double the years Prior to 2022…

undefinedundefined Just spent 15 minutes confirming over at http://cancer.org. Found same charts in the video. The guy’s numbers don’t quite check out for 2023 because the final figure he gives is an estimate for all ages. Weird he didn’t use the same chart for all years compared, because it is available. Bottom line though, the rate for new cases of breast cancer for the under-50 age group has essentially doubled in 3 years (assuming 2023 estimates hold).

https://gab.com/singthelogos/posts/110581891327485879

This person found what I couldn’t at Cancer.org…

I wonder if the video guy Deliberately grabbed the more concerning & larger number accidentally or if it some type of disinfo approach to discredit anyone who “quotes” that apparently erroneous 2023 estimate???

kalbokalbs

Deliberate or a mistake, he needs to update his video. Credibility.

John Kerry hit with ethics complaint over ‘inaccurate’ climate death toll claims
https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.washingtonexaminer.com%2Fpolicy%2Fenergy-environment%2Fjohn-kerry-ethics-complaint-climate-death-toll-claims

Protect the Public’s Trust filed the complaint against the Biden administration’s special presidential envoy for climate, detailing a May 10 speech in which Kerry claimed 15 million people perish every year due to greenhouse gas emissions.

“This claim is both tremendously consequential and entirely unsupported by scientific evidence,” the letter to State Department and White House Office of Science and Technology Policy officials states.

PPT is calling for an investigation into Kerry’s comments for violating the Biden administration’s scientific integrity policies and are asking the government to “adequately correct the public record and deter similar hysterical claims in the future.”

pgroup2

Note: hysterical has the same root as hysterectomy. That root is from the female reproductive system.

Kerry obviously has much soy and scarce testosterone. He’s a 3 dimensional bitch.

We have the (ancient) Greeks… Hippocrates in particular … to thank for that word, and the ‘thought’/belief – incorrect of course.

Hippocrates believed that the embryo was the product of male semen and a female factor. But Aristotle (384 – 322 BC) held that only male semen gave rise to an embryo, while the female only provided a place for the embryo to develop. Hippocrates thought the female menses to be caused by a demon (Ancient Greeks were big on ‘demons’), the hystera, which they said tended to wander around the female body, causing an array of physical and mental conditions. Thus, hysteria and eventually, hysterectomy (the removal of the demon?)

pgroup2

I know a few females who are convinced that menses are demonic.

Andrei Martyanov’s latest:

Cannot Get Any More Blunt…
… than this from Lavrov.

If NATO, through the mouth of Stoltenberg, once again declares that they are against freezing, as they say, the conflict in Ukraine, then they want to fight,” Lavrov told a press conference. “Well, let them fight, we are ready for this, we have long understood the goals of NATO in the situation around Ukraine, which have been formed for many years.”

Blunt and almost nonchalant. All this while Putin speaking to graduates of military academies described the future:

Strengthening the armed forces is one of Russia’s top priorities, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with graduates of military academies in Moscow on Wednesday. The nation’s military will evolve on the basis of the “priceless experience” provided by the ongoing military operation in Ukraine, as well as the modern challenges Russia is facing, he added. Russia’s nuclear triad will remain a focus of the military development efforts, Putin said, adding that it remains “a key guarantee of Russia’s military security and global stability.” Around half of Russia’s strategic land-based missile units have already been equipped with state-of-the-art Yars missiles – some of Russia’s most modern nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles, Putin revealed.

Putin also stressed hypersonic weapons and Russia’s Navy Commander Admiral Evmenov stated that newest weapons will begin to be deployed not “soon, but immediately”. Pretty self-evident, really. Naturally VSU complaint about German tanks, Germans told them to shove it (in Russian). Things are getting curioser and curioser.

Carnivore Eating

Edited
10 weeks into carnivore, down 25 pounds but have also built up a lot of muscle in the gym. I have spoken to a many of you who started carnivore too and are seeing great results.

All of my inflammation issues are totally gone because I have eliminated the toxic garbage they put in our food supply and now eat:

1. Beef sourced from Gab cattle farmers in the Parallel Economy undefinedundefined undefinedundefined and https://www.familyfarmbeefbox.com/ among others.
2. Eggs from our friends at a local farm
3. Bacon from a local family-owned deli.

I’ve seen many stories of Europeans coming to America and getting fat and sick after they started eating our food. I’ve also seen comparisons of the ingredients in American products vs the same exact products in Europe and Canada.

Surprise: the American version is loaded with seed oils and soy while their foreign counterparts are not. There are also many toxic dyes in American food like Red 33 that are banned in other countries.

Not to mention the amount of toxins that are sprayed all over our fruits and vegetables.

I learned most of this stuff because of Gab and by removing it all from my diet I have never felt better.

If it were possible for me to give one message everywhere, to young women my age, and older, it would be the following…
The Beauty and Simple Grace of Modesty surpasses anything that skimpy clothes, nudity, makeup, tattoos, piercings, and hair color can ever achieve.
Modesty is simply dressing fashionably, yet with Beauty, Grace and Dignity. It is dressing how one would like to be addressed and treated.
Modesty is truly the highest form of Elegance, and embraces True Femininity.
True Femininity NOT Feminism. Let’s Bring It Back!

https://gab.com/CertainHOPE/posts/110582326994744857

kalbokalbs

Nice. Modesty and Fenininity, should be treasured.

One quibble with above. Slow guy, clueless as he is, “fashionable” has nothing to do with modesty or femininty. On a good day, “fashionable is goofy. Not to mention a waste of money.

Further, fashionable, is an ego thing. Think about it. <<<

Cuppa Covfefe

Exactly.

Same thing with “Influencers” (no wonder it sounds like influenza). Used to be called “change agents” (the only useful change agents were the “bureaux du change” at the borders, the rest were a bunch of twits telling us what to do).

Why do we need other, ‘leet people telling us what to do? Why have we let them do this? They can’t even run their own lives correctly; I’ll be da-ned if I let them (try to) run mine…..

Valerie Curren

Yes & fashionable is a way to constantly manipulate people into spending money to sort of keep up with the Jones in regards to personal style if one wants to stay on trend.

Titanic Sub Company OceanGate Fired Director Who Demanded Safety Testing
https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2023/06/21/titanic-sub-company-oceangate-fired-director-who-demanded-safety-testing/

OceanGate, the maritime exploration company behind the submersible Titan, which went missing with five people aboard during a trip to the wreckage of the Titanic, fired its director of marine operations after he demanded safety tests of the vehicle before it took passengers to the bottom of the Ocean. The company is also facing questions about other safety decisions, like the submersible lacking a safety beacon.

The Daily Mail reports that OceanGate remains embroiled in an ongoing crisis after its submersible, Titan, disappeared while on a trip to explore the Titanic’s wreckage with five people on board. Due to the incident, the company’s decision to fire a director who had previously voiced safety concerns about the submersible has come to light.

David Lochridge, the Titan project’s director of marine operations, was let go in 2018 after calling for more stringent safety inspections of the submersible, including “testing to prove its integrity.” Lochridge was quoted as having “disagreed with OceanGate’s position to dive the submersible without any non-destructive testing to prove its integrity, and to subject passengers to potential extreme danger in an experimental submersible.”

In 2018, Lochridge published a report that was critical of the company’s research and development efforts for the vessel, according to legal filings. He had “strongly encouraged that OceanGate utilize a classification agency, such as the American Bureau of Shipping, to inspect and certify the Titan.” OceanGate, however, turned down both requests.

Despite the concerns expressed by Lochridge, OceanGate declined to have the submersible independently inspected, a practice known as “classing” that is common in the industry. This procedure entails appointing a neutral group to guarantee that submersibles and other vessels adhere to high technical standards set by the entire industry. It is thought to be essential for making sure a vessel is fit for operation.

Classification could take years, according to OceanGate, who defended their choice by saying that it would be “anathema to rapid innovation.”

:wpds_arrow: The company stated, “While classing agencies are willing to pursue the certification of new and innovative designs and ideas, they often have a multi-year approval cycle due to a lack of pre-existing standards… Bringing an outside entity up to speed on every innovation before it is put into real-world testing is anathema to rapid innovation.”

It has since come to light that the vessel didn’t even appear to have a basic safety beacon installed. Walt ‘Butch’ Hendrick, a former safety coordinator for the U.S. Army’s Green Beret Diver Trainer Program, told the Daily Beast:

“It doesn’t have a beacon to send out a signal to tell our Coast Guard where it is. The thing is supposed to have its own ability to surface, but if its electrical system shortcircuited because of salt water getting into it, that system doesn’t work anymore. We know from other people who have been interviewed that there are people who have been on this unit and the dive didn’t last an hour, they went back because of mechanical difficulties.”

Cuppa Covfefe

So Darwin Awards all ’round for the Alpha Testers…

Seems there ARE people out there with experience in deep sea submersibles, but the egotists at that company wouldn’t listen.

Typical leftist babble. “Rules and standards are for cowards, and they stifle innovation” yadda yadda yadda…

BUT, THEY KEEP PEOPLE ALIVE!!!!!!! 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡
