ROMANS 8:31-39

31What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things with him? 33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies; 34who is to condemn? Is it Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us? 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36As it is written, “For thy sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

From the article referenced in the tweet:

https://nypost.com/2023/11/12/opinion/a-covid-19-vaccine-reckoning-is-coming-for-the-doj-over-federal-gov-mandates/

…Presumably, the hiring spree is in anticipation of a surge of COVID vaccine lawsuits, as people who were forced by government mandates to take the jab, and suffered serious side effects as a result, try to extract compensation from a system that is stacked against them.

“The office is currently expanding to address workload created by an increase in cases filed under the Vaccine Act,” reads the ad posted by the Torts Branch of the DOJ on the USAJobs website.

The recruitment drive comes on the heels of a little-noticed lawsuit filed in Louisiana last month by six vaccine-injured plaintiffs against the federal government.

The suit aims to overturn the legal immunity that pharmaceutical giants like Pfizer and Moderna enjoy on their COVID shots.

Not that any of the lawyers involved expect Big Pharma to pay up, but at least if they win, it should force Congress to reform inadequate vaccine injury compensation schemes that were instituted almost 40 years ago as an alternative to suing drug companies out of existence but that have not kept up with the times.

Mandates and misery

Meanwhile, almost 13,000 Americans who claim the COVID vaccine caused them or their dead loved ones adverse reactions — such as the life-threatening heart ailment myocarditis or the debilitating immune disorder Guillain-Barre syndrome — remain in limbo after doing what they were told was “the right thing”: heeding government mandates to submit to the jab.

The unaccountable, understaffed government tribunal that presides over the so-called Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), for vaccines administered under emergency measures, is a “kangaroo court,” says the lawsuit filed by attorney Aaron Siri, partner at New York firm Siri & Glimstad.

“The CICP is akin to a Potemkin village … an elaborate façade designed to hide an undesirable reality.

“Claims are consistently lost, ignored, denied, or caught up in the years-long purgatory of government bureaucracy. The compensation, if any, is neither timely nor adequate.”

Just six people had been compensated by October this year, of more than 12,775 COVID injury claims submitted to the CICP since Jan. 31, 2020, when the Trump administration declared a public health emergency.

Those lucky people reportedly received an average of $2,148 each.

Of the 1,800 decisions made by the CICP, just 72 have been found eligible for compensation. Another 1,728 have been denied.

That means 96 percent of claims are unsuccessful, and just 14 percent of total claims have even been adjudicated.

Continued: tragic jab cases, demonization, vax hesitancy
Tragic jab cases Among the plaintiffs in the Louisiana case is Emma Burkey, who was a healthy 18-year-old Nevada high school student when she received the Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine in April 2021 and suffered a devastating brain injury.
“Now, after three brain surgeries and thousands of hours of physical therapy, she struggles to walk, write, and care for herself,” says the lawsuit.
Victim advocacy group React-19, which has joined the plaintiffs, also represents Ernest Ramirez, a car wash technician in a small South Texas town who lost his only son, Ernest Jr., a healthy 16-year-old athlete who died of a heart attack five days after receiving his first Pfizer dose in April 2021.
The weeping testimony of the single father at a congressional hearing in Washington, DC, in November that year was heartrending.
“I’ve raised my boy since he was a baby,” said Ramirez. “Me and my son have never been apart. He was my best friend … We got the Pfizer vaccine because I thought it was the right thing to do. It was like playing Russian roulette. My government lied to me. They said it was safe. Now I go home to an empty house …
“I love the hell out of my country but I don’t trust my government anymore.”
Ramirez couldn’t even grieve in peace. Twitter censored the photo he posted of his son’s coffin under the caption: “My good byes to my Baby Boy” and three broken heart emojis, and GoFundMe deleted his account to raise money for the trip to Washington.
His tragedy was an inconvenient truth for a government hellbent on forcing Americans to take the jab, whether they needed it or not.
The landmark free speech lawsuit Missouri v. Biden reveals the authoritarian lengths to which authorities went to hide the truth.
Critics demonized With more than 650 million COVID vaccine doses administered in the US, the tragic side effects suffered by Emma Burkey and Ernest Ramirez Jr. might be rare, but that doesn’t reduce the suffering of the victims and their families.
They were censored on social media at the behest of the federal government and were demonized by the media as “anti-vaxxers” and conspiracy theorists.
“It is not a conspiracy,” says attorney Siri, pointing out the folly of branding his clients “anti-vaxxers” when they actually took the vaccine.
“It is economic forces and conflicts run amok with no material monetary interests pushing back for decades. The class action and product liability attorneys have been neutered.”
In other words, when Big Pharma gets immunity from being sued, the normal market forces that ensure a product is safe are turned on their head. It stands to reason greed might get a say.
Is it any wonder that just 2 percent of Americans have taken the latest COVID booster, according to figures released last month by HHS, a sign of rock-bottom faith in public health advice
More concerning is that vaccine hesitancy has spread to life-saving childhood vaccines, with the CDC reporting the highest exemption rate in history.
After pushing so much disinformation about masks, lockdowns and the COVID jab, and then imposing Soviet levels of censorship on dissenting voices, the federal government and its pet medicos, like Dr. Anthony Fauci, are entirely to blame for the collapse in public trust that will haunt us for a generation.

Outrageous!!!

“Death rate increased by 50% within the first 6 months of vaccination. And then increased in October of 2021 with the boosters.”

That’s a staggering number.

The darker the red, the more deaths.
Why is 2023 looking so bad AFTER a ‘pandemic’?

In 2020, the elderly died in Care Homes (NG163, Isolation, Ventilators…).
In 2021, the vaccinated groups died (including the infants of vaccinated mothers).
In 2022, vaccinations were pushed through mandates and other coercion, and the deaths expanded to those newly targeted.
In 2023, death in every age group accelerates when they should be the lowest on record.

The results of the response to COVID are clear – DEATH BY DESIGN.

THE GOP VOTER WALL OF FRUSTRATION

Cartoon published 11/13/2023

Vivek Ramaswamy delivered a complete thrashing of Ronna McDaniel at the third GOP debate. Ronna was in attendance and Vivek blasted her in front of her face, citing her terrible Republican National Committee leadership. Ronna McDaniel called Vivek an ‘a__hole’ and then she sought solace on the fake news shows.

Smiling Ronna pleaded her case on Meet the Press that the RNC was doing its job and she is doing the best she can with the unelectable and extreme MAGA candidates that are running for office. In fact. if they didn’t have so many unpopular policies such as secure borders, then they would have been elected. You see, it was their fault for their terrible performance in the last election, not Ronna’s or the RNC’s.

The lady doth protest too much.

The truth of the matter is Ronna won’t give America First candidates one thin dime from the RNC to help their campaigns. She’s planning on defunding Vivek in retaliation for him being right over the target. RINOs only seems to be RNC’s motto. Only RINOs get fed the cash. They are selected, not elected.

Republican voters feel like they are beating their heads against an RNC brick wall at every election. The RNC listens to globalist big money donors, not their ‘America First’ voter base. This has been the case for decades. They easily marginalized and cheated non-swamp candidates such as Ron Paul. Then Trump came along and upset their rotten applecart.

Keep Us Drawing- Support our work with a small donation, click to donate!

Speaking of rotten, the FBI has revealed themselves many times over to be a corrupt, rogue agency—they’re the muscle of the Deep State Swamp. That swamp is about to become deeper if $3.5 billion in funding is approved for their new headquarters. There are a great many Republicans in Congress who support this and each should be vilified. Ronna naturally prefers RINO, Uniparty Republicans. You know, the kind Karl Rove likes as well. Republicans such as Romney, Cheney, and McCain. We need a sea change in the Republican party. We need to break up the FBI, not reward them with new digs.

After lambasting Ronna, Vivek invited her to come up on the stage and resign. Horrors! Ronna is big mad now. She won’t resign because it’s not her fault—it’s yours for not doing as you’re told. She blames her fiasco on MAGA voters who prefer MAGA candidates whom she will not support with funding.

With Ronna as the RNC Chairwoman, don’t expect 2024 to be any different. Trump must be reelected before we can truly see change—and that requires a shakeup and shakeout of the RINOs in the party. Including Ronna McDaniel.

I guessed I missed the story.

I was aware you had gone off to do some more local things, and I am *guessing* it had to do with Prop 1 or A or whatever it was called…but you sound like you had realized *before* the election that somehow your efforts were misdirected.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I’ve learned an enormous amount about how the sausage of politics is made, and that part is a blessing, but I’ve also seen how RINOs are made, and it ain’t pretty. And 1000 other things. It was a heck of an experience, but in retrospect, we actually do more here, IMO, just by helping the popular flow move in certain directions.

We have a job to do – and THAT is to make sure that Trump just blows away all his competition – both D and R – and fixes this country.

Aubergine

We need to extend our reach. How to do that? What else could we do?

We have information on the Q Tree going back to the beginning of the “pandemic” that would show people as they come to realize what has been done to them, that we knew it all along. Even many of the “good” doctors were behind us by up to a year.

If we could show that to people in the coming months and years, they would be more likely to believe us on other topics. How do that is the question.

Get Bannon to mention it on Warroom. Wolfie will have a new career – approving applicants to Qtree. 😂 He’ll be so busy he won’t have time to get into trouble.

I’m wondering if the new FBI building in Maryland might be something like this:

I know not how it was—but, with the first glimpse of the building, a sense of insufferable gloom pervaded my spirit. I say insufferable; for the feeling was unrelieved by any of that half-pleasurable, because poetic, sentiment, with which the mind usually receives even the sternest natural images of the desolate or terrible. I looked upon the scene before me—upon the mere house, and the simple landscape features of the domain—upon the bleak walls—upon the vacant eye-like windows—upon a few rank sedges—and upon a few white trunks of decayed trees—with an utter depression of soul which I can compare to no earthly sensation more properly than to the after-dream of the reveller upon opium—the bitter lapse into every-day life—the hideous dropping off of the veil. There was an iciness, a sinking, a sickening of the heart—an unredeemed dreariness of thought which no goading of the imagination could torture into aught of the sublime.

This is beautiful, because it shows that Trump didn’t expect January Sixth. He didn’t know that he had been set up. He didn’t think that the TRUTH would let him down.

He didn’t know the CONSPIRACY against him.

And dumb Jenna just spilled that truth right out there for us!

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Gee that about puts paid to the cultist claims that he deliberately threw the election because we had to be shown.

Or it would if these people didn’t refuse to consider evidence against their claim.

Last edited 6 months ago by SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA
cthulhu

I think you’re conflating a few things.

He didn’t throw the election — if anything, he threw the inauguration. On the night of the election, he was shown the cheating in real-time. He probably figured, “this should be easy to fix.”

As the scope of the perfidy became clearer, it looked increasingly difficult. By the time of January 6, he saw how the narrative for a buffalo jump could be slanted against the buffalo, and judged that the time wasn’t right to do a full-court press because people had to be shown. It was clear that the enemy had thoroughly prepared and there would be series of ambushes.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

No, I’m not the one conflating things.

There are people who believe he threw the election. That it was his plan all along to lose it because we had to be shown. I argue against that.

You’re clearly not in that camp, but others are.

The people who say he allowed the election to be stolen, taking himself out of the WH, because “you have to show the people,” believe themselves to be ultra-MAGA.

This. They also say he “allowed” the election to be stolen, as if he could have stopped it but didn’t. How he could have stopped it, I have no idea.

kalbokalbs

Ya gotta live in Fantasyland to see it.

Not available in the real world.

Aubergine

“His people were in control of the surveillance apparatus.”

We don’t know that. Not really. There are too many leftists ticks embedded in the D.C. apparatus.

That was the problem all along.

For Trump to have had as successful a Presidency as he was capable of, he would have had to fire everyone in unelected government, right down to the janitors, and bring in new people from outside. But he couldn’t do that; it couldn’t happen fast enough, and I think he thought he could override them, anyway.

But he couldn’t, and here we are.

kalbokalbs

^^^ In a nut shell. ^^^

TheseTruths

Exactly.

“His people were in control of the surveillance apparatus.”

We don’t know that. Not really. There are too many leftists ticks embedded in the D.C. apparatus.

A LOT of things are declared to be fact that we don’t actually know.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Indeed.

Very much so.

Aubergine

Yes. It makes me crazy.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

And another thing, if Trump was able to put his own people into the intelligence apparatus (replacing Obola holdovers) the implication is that the Brandon administration (whoever is really in charge) should have had equal ease in getting rid of Trump’s people.

TheseTruths

I think he knew exactly what was coming and got out of the way to let it play out.

He knew that cheating was going on and had made a number of statements about it in the months before the election. He might have suspected there would be enough cheating to make it look as if he had lost.

As for “getting out of the way,” that is the theory that he allowed the cheating because “you have to show the people.” I need someone to explain what he could have done to stop it, because if you allow something, then you also have the power to keep it from happening. If it can’t be explained how he could have stopped the steal but allowed it anyway, then the theory falls apart.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

There is a difference between “allowing” and “not trying to stop something that can’t be stopped easily or with acceptable losses” – the latter being what I think really happened.

TheseTruths

Which again begs the question, what could he have done to stop it? He had no power over individual states’ new, unlawful rules. I can’t think of one thing he could have done, lawfully and Constitutionally. I also don’t know what the “acceptable losses” would have been. If people are going to keep saying he stood by and let the election be stolen — which is what this is, regardless of the chosen rhetoric — then I’d like for them to provide details.

IMO, talk of his “stepping aside,” “allowing,” “not trying to stop,” etc., are not only euphemistic ways of saying the same thing, but I see it as accusing Trump of doing something egregious by omission. I’m tired of THAT being the accepted narrative when we have no idea where the truth resides.

Is the idea that he could have used the military in some way? If so, I’d like for someone to explain exactly, in detail, how that could have gone down, including what the aftermath and consequences of it would have been. No one will flesh out the theory. No one seems to be thinking about what they’re expecting people to believe, or even what they themselves believe.

If there was nothing he could have done, then to keep saying he failed to act (which really means he stood by and let our election be stolen) is moot. There is no reason to say it. It’s like saying that some governor could have stopped the steal in their state when they were being undermined by state officers, where ballot boxes were being stuffed, and where machines had been programed to switch votes, but instead “stepped aside.” One, we don’t know that, and two, how could he/she have stopped it? It’s crazy-making.

Do you find it interesting that everything discussed in the past is somehow making news as of late?

That shows that those movies were “playing” at that time. It was about current events.

There are no blanket statements in the Q drops indicating we are watching a perpetual movie. The phrase “you are watching a movie” occurs only once, and that was back in 2018.

Q813, February 22, 2018

People kill people.

You are watching a movie. They want you WEAK. SLAVE.

SHEEP.

DISTRACTION.

From the context, it seems clear that Q is referring to how we have been deceived by those trying to divide us and those who control children, as well as “Clowns revealed in China/other.”

Then there is “you are watching a ‘scripted’ movie,” which also occurs only once. That was Q1450, June 11, 2018:
It references pics an anon had posted of Kim Jong Un before an upcoming meeting with PDJT.

Gardens by the Bay.

See prev pic.

Timestamp.

Coincidence?

Everything shown has meaning. You are watching a ‘scripted’ movie.

Some people seem to be assuming that everything is a scripted movie, but Q has not indicated that to be the case. These posts about watching a movie are 5 years old and clearly do not apply to the 2020 election or the upcoming 2024 election.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Slams Eight Republicans for Joining Democrats in Killing Her Articles of Impeachment Against Mayorkas (VIDEO)
MTG:

We all know the facts. We know the numbers, and we know how bad the invasion is at the border. Every single day, I serve on the Homeland Committee, and we’ve done hearing after hearing after hearing. As we have reported and talked to eyewitnesses and interviewed people, we have found out how bad it is at the border. And yet, we can’t get Republicans to impeach Secretary Mayorkas. This is outrageous.

We have four of these Republicans serve on the Judiciary Committee. Now, the Judiciary Committee is where my Articles of Impeachment on Secretary Mayorkas have been sitting and collecting dust for months and months and months now without movement. And so there’s four of these eight that voted to send it back to the Judiciary Committee, where it will once again collect dust and have no movement to impeach Secretary Mayorkas.

This is unbelievable, because everyone all over America knows how bad this guy is, and that he is willfully breaking our laws and allowing the invasion to happen. Over 300 Americans are dying every single day, and two of my constituents were killed last week by a human smuggler trafficking illegal aliens in Texas. This this cannot continue. Several of these, as a matter of fact, three of the eight Republicans are from the state of California that gets invaded every single day. But how do they vote against the impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas? I can’t understand it.

I can’t either.

I don’t know how we ever win, guys. If we can’t get Republicans to stick together and hold people accountable and impeach someone that needs to be impeached.

Mayorkas has expected this coming for so long now. He hired an attorney a long time ago. I guess he’s wasted his money with his attorney because we can’t even vote to move it to be debated on the House floor to hold a vote. So the final total tonight was 209 Democrats to 201.

Republicans supposedly hold the majority here in Congress. That’s something you wouldn’t necessarily know, because we sure don’t act like it. We sure do enable Joe Biden. We enable Mayorkas. We enable an open border. We enable an illegal invasion that’s murdering Americans every single day. But we can’t even move for a vote to impeach Secretary Mayorkas. This should be very frustrating to many people.

It’s frustrating to everyone I talk to and this type of lack of will, lack of courage, lack of I don’t even know what. They’re lacking a lot to actually hold Secretary Mayorkas accountable and impeach him is shameful. It’s absolutely shameful.

We finally have control in the House and we cannot move to impeach him. I think you guys know exactly what to do about this. And I’m sure you’re just as upset as I am. And I’m sure you’re just as outraged at why anybody, any Republican, would vote with the Democrats to refer Articles of Impeachment back to committee, where they go to die, and nothing happens to them.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Can we impeach a few RINOs real quick? That might put the fear of blankety-blank in the rest of them!

I believe the most recent example of over reach was Newsome’s talk of a billion points of data, which is a rehash of the “internet of things” (IOT) and how that data might be used to save the world against such things as Scott points out.. “Babies!” 😮😬🙄🤔

The above points out how easy it is for any single point of data to be tracked, surveilled, fenced off, loose permissions, be reacted against, likely even altered (in the event there is no ready reason for that data or data set (baby!) to fall under watchful lawful eyes).

Ultimately that data can be interfered with wherever it comes in contact with other data anywhere along it’s data stream that joins the target data should also be disconcerting.

Example, babies doctor appointment can be reported, denied, delayed, canceled. Babies new Amazon booties can be mishipped. Babies, babysitter can be given cancel orders, entertainment or education can be altered and switch to Drag Queen super hour if left unsupervised. etc..

Any of these things can be done overtly while still being under layers of “need to know” such as the “SSSS” thing or simply done covertly.

One thing is for sure, Baby can be given much moar attention than Mom and Pop ever intended and the world can be built anew! 😃😏😬😠

The really cool clearances and accesses we had, should have been revoked, IF the Feds thought we were bad guys or a danger to anyone / anything.

Made no sense then or now. Other than it was another example of inept Feds.

pgroup2

Any chance SSSS doesn’t mean y’all are dangerous or terroristic? I mean, how did it get determined that SSSS means you are on a ‘bad boy’ list?

kalbokalbs

Truly no idea, other than, each time SSSS showed, we received extra attention going through security. Airline check-in goofs always, had their highlighter out, to highlight the SSSS.

We were never denied boarding, ticketing, etc.

At least once, during boarding process, we were pulled out for an extra pat down.

Feds, TSA, even when “security” was airline contracted, has always been goofy, at best. IMO.

ThanQ for trying to explain. 🤔

TheseTruths

What is SSSS?

Secondary Security Screening Selection, or SSSS, is a designation by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) that flags passengers for extra security screening. SSSS can happen on any flight to, from, or within the U.S., including inbound international flights.

If you spot those four letters on your boarding pass, you may be taken aside by a TSA officer during the regular airport security screening process and subjected to additional searches, whether that’s in your bag or on your person.

Perhaps more commonly, you’ll be taken aside during the boarding process, where an agent will ask you to unpack your personal item and carry-on bagfor a thorough manual search. Your electronics might be swabbed and tested (be prepared to take off any cases), and you might also be patted down.

Overall, these processes can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to half an hour or more.

Why do people get SSSS?

There’s no published information about who is selected for SSSS — and that’s intentional. If security threats knew how to avoid SSSS, they might not be caught. Anecdotally, it seems that SSSS is given to passengers with more unusual travel patterns, such as one-way international tickets or travel to destinations deemed high-risk by the U.S. It’s also very likely that the TSA doles out the SSSS designation randomly, too.

If you’re selected, SSSS will be printed somewhere on your boarding pass. One of the tell-tale signs that you’ve been selected is that you won’t be able to check in online — you’ll receive a note via your airline’s app or website that you’ll need to check in with an agent at the airport. Of course, there could be any number of reasons that you may need to check in in person, but it’s definitely one indicator you might need to prepare for SSSS.

https://www.travelandleisure.com/ssss-on-boarding-pass-7547257

Definitely bad boys. 😎

Robert Baker

It sounds like SSSS is a random security protocol not particularly associated with an expected threat matrix.

TheseTruths

Maybe, but not necessarily, I think.

There’s no published information about who is selected for SSSS — and that’s intentional. If security threats knew how to avoid SSSS, they might not be caught.

kalbokalbs

That is not, what is posted above.

Robert Baker

I am not quite following kalb. I was drawing a conclusion based on what might be TSA’s uses for that code based on just randomly assigning the code like manufacturers randomly pick items from the production line to do quality control testing. Same idea for security. The fact that you had that code several times on your flights would suggest that my conclusions are unlikely. I can think of no other reason why an infant would be assigned such a code but random happenstance.

Scientists have puzzled over why some people seem immune to COVID-19, even after exposure. Now, emerging evidence points to an intriguing explanation: prior run-ins with the common cold.

Common Cold Antibodies Protect Against COVID

new study investigated whether preexisting antibodies from common cold viruses offer protection against COVID-19. Researchers analyzed blood samples from 94 unvaccinated hospitalized patients with varying severity of respiratory failure; 74 had tested positive for COVID-19, while 20 did not have the infection.

They measured levels of antibodies from prior common cold coronavirus infections. The same analysis was done for non-COVID patients as controls.

There was a positive correlation between common cold antibody levels and COVID-specific antibodies. Higher common cold antibody levels in the control patients suggested a potentially protective effect against COVID severity.

More fun and games with Continuing Professional Education.

I’m doing one called “Future Skills — How to Succeed in a Digital World”. I’m in Chapter 2, where the author is going on-and-f’ing-on about the importance of data and data literacy.

Years ago, there was a science-fiction story about a guy who had a near-miraculous talent. You could ask him about whether you should do a specific course of action and he’d do a certain amount of research (some on-site) and come back with a “yes” or “no” — which was about 80% accurate. He commanded immense consulting fees and was flown around the galaxy to provide his services. That’s because he provided actionable information.

Information is immensely valuable. By contrast, we are awash in data — more every year — but data by itself is crap. Just like the meme about underwear gnomes, whose business plan is:

  1. Collect underpants
  2. ?
  3. Profit

This author is presenting a path to digital success that goes

  1. Become data literate
  2. ?
  3. Have actionable information

He’s all jazzed about having 175 zettabytes of data by 2025, and casually mentions that there are data scientists and statisticians to massage the data (while it remains data) — but he doesn’t say much about the crucial step #2. Plus, he completely ignores the existence of luddites like myself who intend to make step #2 as difficult as possible.

I may have to do a BP break until tomorrow.

cthulhu

OK, I’m finally done with that. It continued to be exasperating, but I plowed through it — even if things were getting weird toward the end. The last topic was work/life balance and I first read the final question as:

’50. Which of the following is recommended by the author as a means to boost mental health:
‘a. make time for boobies
‘b. set strong boundaries between work and nonwork
‘c. embrace imperfection
‘d. all of the above

Made sense in context, but answer (a) was meant to say “make time for hobbies”.

Flyover country, still known as that now
By city dwellers who fly overhead
They imagine us out in fields with cows
While chewing straw, so easily misled

We’re all discounted in their view of life
As they push paper all during their day
And play politics while working in strife
Never brown with dirt nor dusty with hay

Work means hard labor and sweating all day
Or freeing tractors axle deep in mud
Rising with the sun, getting little pay
Yet this is my life; farming’s in my blood

My family’s here, with me on the farm
Learning the values of tilling the soil
Embracing nature and all of her charm
Being thankful for this life of hard toil

On most Friday nights, we’ll meet with some friends
To talk about farming, then play a game
Just a little break to see our week end
Though in the morning it’s work just the same

We’ve learned that it’s God who makes our seed grow
Who gives us the sun and water we need
Who turns the grass golden, ready to mow
To make all the hay that we use for feed

We’re thankful to God for giving us all
Our family, farm, and neighbors and friends
Our food, health, even worn out coveralls
And for His grace and mercies without end

So what do you say? This is how we live
We learn true values; here and looking up
God saved our souls; praise to Him we must give
Yes, farmers all, but as heirs drink His cup

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

I’ve been reading about this woman for a couple of days now. She was a Muslim who became an atheist after 9/11. Now, she has converted to Christianity, and says Jesus is the only answer. Her faith is not the strongest, but it’s a journey, and I hope she eventually finds real faith and rest in Jesus Christ:

“Over the weekend, Ayaan Hirsi Ali revealed in an essay at Unherd that she has become a Christian. For Christians, this is welcome and joyous news. But it’s also instructive. A former Muslim who very publicly rejected Islam and became an avowed atheist in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, Ali has been speaking and writing in defense of Western civilization and liberal values for decades.

Now she has come to the conclusion that there is no way to maintain Western civilization and no way to preserve its liberal values apart from Christianity. Just as she came to discover the fundamentalist Islam of her youth was a dead end, she has also discovered the atheism she adopted in response to it is also a dead end.”

I am thankful Ayaan has kept learning. She had such a rocky start in life.

this is a story for wolf…

about 5 years ago, my granddaughter was visiting and she asked where all the trees came from in the woods surrounding us. after a brief discussion, we came upon some acorns from the huge oak trees on the edge of the woods. she asked if we could plant them and grow trees. I said sure.

we planted them in pots and brought them inside the house. i watered them and waited and in spring, they sprouted–not all by any stretch of the imagination but more than half did. In the summer, i put the pots out on the deck which was a grave mistake. by morning the deck was littered with dirt as the squirrels dug out the acorn bottoms, ate them and left the tender shoots to die. i called and told my granddaughter and she said…we’ll try again!

the following fall, we planted 6 acorns, but by spring only 2 sprouted. I kept these in the house. in the fall, their leaves turned brown and fell off. the following spring, the shoots remained brown and looked dead.

i kept watering the brown sticks but nothing turned green and my husband suggested we start over. I said they just need more time, so i continued to water the sticks for over a year.

last week, the one “stick” sprouted SIX new leaves and looks awesome. I haven’t given up and neither have the acorns.

PAVACA

You were right, IMO, the “sticks” just needed more time!

Aubergine

That is cool! I have had plants seemingly “die,” but kept watering. Sometimes they come back.

Orchids are famous for it. They’re frequently grown in greenhouses, and you might find a pot with a “dead” orchid in it, and put the pot under a bench so you can salvage it later — and discover a flourishing plant the next time you look.

Speaker Johnson “all in” for President Trump

FTA
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson endorsed former President Donald Trump during a Tuesday morning television appearance, saying he is “all in” for Trump to be the 2024 GOP nominee.

Johnson was asked on CNBC who he would be endorsing as the Republican nominee for 2024. He did not hold back his support for Trump.

“I have endorsed him wholeheartedly. Look, I was one of the closest allies that President Trump had in Congress. He had a phenomenal first term those first two years, as you all know, we brought about the greatest economic numbers in the history of the world, not just the country, because his policies worked and I’m all in for President Trump,” Johnson said.

Good. Now tell the House GOP that no spending bill goes forward unless it cuts.

A lot.

And Christmas trees belong in the rotunda, not in bills on the House floor.

A couple thoughts. Video, or it didn’t happen. Wanna see it. My guess is it did, happen.

Kevin, a pissant fired Speaker has a detail. Detail of ass kissing suck ups?

singingsoul1

McCarthy is showing his stripes. He needs to be primary.

kalbokalbs

Seems NPR has video of Kevin getting Burchett in a kidney, from behind.

THIS certainly fits will what we’ve read recently about Kevin, pulling under handed stuff, when they were trying to elect another Speaker.

TradeBait2

Now you see one more reason why I like Tim. McCarthy would have been decked if not protected by security. McCarthy is who we thought he is.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I forget who it was that had to be held back during the original vote for speaker in January, who was about to attack Gaetz.

Emmer?

Whoever it was, the same type of crud as was McCarthy.
