Reviled and Rewarded
Surprised at the “wonderful” drag show diversity so thoughtfully included in the opening ceremony for the Olympics? We shouldn’t be. Not at all! It’s to be expected as part and parcel of the current liberal/woke, globulist worldview. Out of the dark shadows and into the light where anyone who seeks after righteousness can easily see it . . . and learn . . . and not forget.
The primary audience for Christ’s Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1—7:29) was the twelve disciples. Others came and listened, but the Lord’s principal intent was to teach His closest followers—the twelve men who were set apart for leadership in God’s kingdom (see Matthew 19:28; Revelation 21:14). These apostles would be the ones to experience the fiercest persecution. To address this concern, Jesus concluded His opening Beatitudes with this wonderful assurance: “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Matthew 5:11–12, ESV).
The disciples were about to undergo unprecedented persecution under the cruel Roman Empire. Indeed, throughout history, faithful followers of Christ have faced intense oppression and persecution (2 Timothy 3:12; Philippians 1:29). The Lord knew that His kingdom leaders and faithful servants would need to maintain an eternal perspective. The Beatitudes provide this hope—they assure us that, no matter how much suffering and hardship we endure for Christ’s sake, we can be confident that our reward in heaven will be great.
Honor, blessing, and recompense in heaven are not promised simply as payment for injustices suffered in this life but specifically for “those who are persecuted because of righteousness” (Matthew 5:10). God has a special prize set aside for believers who are insulted, mocked, punished, and treated unfairly because of their stand and testimony for Jesus Christ. These are Christians who eagerly practice kingdom righteousness and suffer for it.
Such kingdom servants are like the prophets of the Old Testament who “were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons. Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated. They were too good for this world, wandering over deserts and mountains, hiding in caves and holes in the ground” (Hebrews 11:32–38, NLT; cf. Hebrews 11:26; see also Acts 7:51–53; James 5:10). For all who suffer abuses similar to those of the prophets of old, Jesus promises indescribable rewards in heaven.
Jesus isn’t just encouraging His most loyal “movers and shakers” to endure persecution but to “rejoice and be glad” in it. Despite their temporal hardships, these servants possess the most distinguishing qualities of kingdom servants. They have the radical courage to let their “light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). They are brave enough to endure suffering at the hands of their King’s enemies and still rejoice (see Acts 5:41; Romans 5:3, 2 Corinthians 12:10; Hebrews 10:34; James 1:2; 1 Peter 4:13). In fact, they are willing to lose everything, even their very lives, to gain the kingdom of heaven (Revelation 12:11).
The apostle Paul’s lifestyle exemplified that of a kingdom servant. He considered everything of value in this temporal life as worthless compared to the “surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead” (Philippians 3:7–11).
As Christians, we should expect the world to hate us (Mark 13:13; 1 John 3:12). But if we live as devoted kingdom servants, partaking in Christ’s suffering because of our identification with Jesus, our reward in heaven is great: “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all” (2 Corinthians 4:17). The apostle Peter affirmed, “Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed” (1 Peter 4:12–13). Our present suffering is not even worth comparing with the glories of heaven (Romans 8:18).
The Bible is abundantly clear that God rewards our faithfulness to Him (Genesis 15:1; Ruth 2:12; Proverbs 13:13; Psalm 18:20; Luke 6:35; Colossians 3:24). Jesus Himself promises the “victor’s crown” for those who suffer persecution (Revelation 2:10). Our reward in heaven is great when our desire to live righteously is intense and determined—when our testimony for Christ shines so brightly that the enemies of God’s kingdom are driven to extinguish its brilliance.

That’s not the Cathedral. Notre Dame is the Cathedral. That is the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Sacre Coeur. It was built in reparation for the French Revolution.

A Cathedral is where the Cathedra or chair of the bishop is. That’s essentially the mother ship for any diocese. Ordinations happen there as well as any number of official diocesan events.
A Basilica is designated as such due to its importance in history, artistic presentation, and being a center of life.
Many Cathedrals are Basilicas, but not all. Many Basilicas are not Cathedrals. For example, here in STL, the current Cathedral is known as the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. The original Cathedral…well, the original was a log cabin that no longer exists, but the one on the Arch grounds, is known locally as the “Old Cathedral” but its real name is the Basilica of St. Louis, King of France. Then there are major and minor Basilicas. The current five majors (where there is a Papal Throne) are:
St. Peter’s
St. John Lateran (this is the Cathedral of Rome)
St. Mary Major or Santa Maria Medjudore
St. Paul Outside the Walls (outside the walls of Rome. This is where Tradition claims St. Paul is buried)
St. Francis of Assisi in Assisi
St. Justin Martyr, it’s my understanding, for some reason is no longer a major.
All other basilicas are minors.

It is possible to take a tour of the “four papal basilicas” in Rome (including the Vatican).
At some time long ago each was associated with one of the five patriarchs of the Church before the Great Schism. A fifth basilica lost major status.

St. Paul’s (outside the Walls) the Patriarch of Alexandria

Since part of this conversation is about the Four Majors, and I mentioned St. Lawrence, I’m not sure what you mean by “all of them”–St. Lawrence included?
I did take that tour, BTW–actually it covered the three other than St. Peter’s, the presumption being you had already (or would soon) take the much more detailed tour of St. Peter’s, and that was actually the second time I had been to St. Paul’s outside the walls. (And yes I had been to St. Peter’s earlier that day…one word to describe it: gigantic!)
Our cantor actually sang at St. Lawrence the morning we landed in Rome. I’ve known him since high school. He sings the national anthem at Blues games and MLS games when Canadian teams are in town.
But, yes, I’ve sat in the choir stalls to sing at St. Peter’s, St. John Lateran, and St. Francis of Assisi. St. Mary major…I was supposed to sing soprano, but had to switch down to alto because we had no organ and I was the only alto section leader there even if I’m really a soprano. St. Paul Outside the walls we were on benches.
Man, that was quite the week. Mass at St. Peter’s twice including Sts. Peter and Paul, and there was a baby in the group. Yes, she got a kiss from Pope Benedict XVI.

At St. Mary Major, it was like 7:30 in the morning and no one could find the key to the organ in that chapel. We were in the middle of the Gloria, and I heard the altos go off the rails…. Yeah, that Mass I just worked to keep them on pitch.
We had so many altos on that trip, I was put at soprano for balance. My voice is about 2.5 of other peoples’.
“Basilica” has an older meaning as well, it’s a particular type of building invented by the Romans, who found it useful to have large buildings with relatively few interior columns for certain government functions.
The general schema is easiest seen in St. Paul Outside the Walls, which has been maintained to retain its 4th century appearance with very little ornamentation.
The Church of course found this general concept to be useful and adopted it.

I find it interesting that God always seems to work in ways that look absolutely identical to how things would work if there were no God.
A real, undeniable miracle would be if that building were to stay lit, somehow, in the absence of any electrical power.
As it is, it happened to stay lit for totally mundane reasons, and some can ascribe it to divine intervention behind the scenes, and some don’t, and it is purely a matter of how one chooses to interpret the event.
That’s the point. God wants us to have faith not proof.
Well, then I guess from now on I can simply ignore absolutely every book, video, verbal argument, by some guy who thinks he can prove God exists.

The key to ‘proving’ God exists is to let the observable universe [with its contents] speak for itself.
Steve, what is interesting is that God does not always work in the same way as if there were no God. I will allow your statement to say almost always and consider it accurate, but you leave out the miraculous. Since your worldview must explain everything as though there is no God, you have a dilemma when you deal with miracles. Chiefly among those is the resurrection of Jesus, Lazarus, the centurion’s daughter, a few others scattered throughout the Bible. Now I assume that you would hold with Hume that such things never happened. I, on the other hand, because I believe in God, and specifically the God of the Bible can explain these things as the work of God. I do not believe I can prove the truth of these claims, at least to your satisfaction, but I believe in these miracles, not because of my faith but essentially because I believe in the existence of God and these are acts that He can surely perform.
So your argument that the universe does not look exactly as it would without a God (and that therefore God must exist), is the miracles which you believe because you believe in God.
This is circular.
But this brings up a very interesting point; it appears that somehow God chose to reveal himself in these ways, long ago but not in more recent times. Many examples of course, such as him being present near the Israelites during the Exodus, which is probably the biggest one at least in terms of duration and number of people seeing it.

I made no argument about the universe. In fact, I think I mentioned that I could accept your claim as stated with the addition of ‘almost’. Miracles are, by definition, not easily explainable by merely natural reasoning.
Your interesting point is something I have noticed as well. Why it seems to be true I admit I have no answer. God’s assistance for the exodus from Egypt is another Biblical claim that I would classify as a miracle. I have read many theories about the natural origin of the plagues and the parting of the Red Sea. Of course, it is something that cannot be known unless time travel is invented. However, both of us can agree that the story did not originate with Cecil B DeMille and Hollywood.
At times I have wondered that God has been unusually silent in my life experience. That is my perspective, and it does not frustrate me that God chooses to keep it hidden. It is akin to property rights. From my perspective, it is God’s creation and He can care for it according to His own inclinations.
But God does reveal Himself in modern times. See the Pope story I posted in my other response to you. A mass with the Pope is a huge gathering of people.

Seriously, though, a “really good” miracle is when God works in a way that is obviously not otherwise explicable.
For example, when a statue cries. It’s happened. And while some are hoaxes, others are never proven to be. Or this one, performed by the Pope:

A lot of people were present for that one.
Another would be when someone is spontaneously healed of an affliction. I have a true story of that in my family. My grandmother had a huge goiter on her neck and was scheduled for surgery to remove it. A week before said surgery, she was watching Billy Graham on TV. He said “put your hand on your affliction and pray” so she did. She jumped up and cried out. She moved her hand away and the goiter was completely gone. My Dad was in the room with her when that happened. That’s a miracle.
I’ve read stories about multiple people hearing a voice that led them to an action, like this one:
“Cop Tyler Beddoes was in for the shock of his lifetime when he and other officers arrived at an accident scene in March 2015, where a car had overturned in a body of water.
Beddoes, who believes the entire event is a modern-day miracle, explained what happened when he and fellow cops went into frigid waters to approach the car and look for survivors. That’s when he told Faithwire that he and the other officers all heard something incredible.

Here’s another relatively recent miracle:

One night Paton and his wife found themselves threatened by hostile natives who surrounded their mission headquarters. The Patons thought for sure that the natives would burn down the headquarters and kill them both. They prayed throughout the night asking God to protect them from harm. The next morning they were astonished when they realized that the natives had gone away. They had no idea where or why they had left. The missionaries again prayed and thanked the Lord for saving them.
About a year later, the chief of the native tribe who had threatened them became a Christian. He came to visit the Patons. When he was asked about the incident of that night of terror, the chief told the Patons that he and his men were too fearful to carry out their plans of attack. They had seen an army of giant men in “shining garments with drawn swords in their hands” surrounding the mission grounds. Paton and the chief agreed that there was no explanation other than that God had sent angels to keep the missionaries from harm.”

Deagel.com was officially operated by Dr. Edwin A. Deagle Junior. In 2014, Deagel.com published predictions of massive population declines happening abruptly before the year 2025, mostly in Western countries.
For over five years the mysterious depopulation predictions on Deagel.com were regularly updated. But after the 2020 lockdowns, this page was removed from the website, but can still be found archived on the Wayback Machine.
Deagel.com has always been a very stark website. With all the appearances of being an intelligence agency website. It claimed to be the personal website of Dr. Edwin A. Deagle Jr., who recently passed away in February of 2021.
In their recent article, “Uncovering the CIA & Rockefeller Foundation’s Role in the Depopulation Forecast released by Deagel,” the Exposé connects the dots that many of us have assumed existed.
Declassified FOIA documents from the nineteen-seventies reveal Deagle’s direct communication with Stansfield Turner, the director of the CIA at the time.
In 1976, Dr. Edwin Deagle moved to New York to become deputy director of the international relations program at the Rockefeller Foundation.
The Rockefeller Foundation was created on May 14th 1913, just a few months after the Rockefeller family helped setup the Federal Reserve Banking system, which gave them unlimited funds while enslaving future generations with debt.
The Rockefeller Foundation funded eugenics programs that decided who should live and who should die. They outlawed natural medicine and fuel, including one of America’s number one cash crops, Hemp, and replaced it all with chemical compounds derived from their oil company’s toxic waste. The Rockefeller Foundation created the United Nations and have their tentacles in NGOs throughout the Western world. In 2019, they funded ‘Event 201,’ the blueprint for the COVID lock-downs that were executed weeks later.
Officially we are told that Dr. Edwin A. Deagle Jr., a deputy director of the Rockefeller Foundation and an associate of the CIA, retired in 2005. The depopulation forecast was published in 2014.
The Deagel.com forecast predicted that by the year 2025, the UK would see its population decline by 77%, Ireland would see its decline by 72%, the United States by 68%, and Germany by 65%, while other countries like Russia are predicted to experience practically zero decline. And official data is now showing that the extreme Deagel.com predictions may be accurate.
Official figures, which we can assume are rather conservative, are showing that government shutdowns and mandated deadly shots have caused staggering levels of excess death. According to official UK Government data, the Covid-19 vaccines were the main cause of excess death. And the more shots you got, the more likely you were to die. Many are saying that over twenty million have died as a result of the Covid lockdowns and experimental shots. And while that number is historically epic in size, it still does not amount to what Deagel predicted by 2025. But we still have time.
A 2014 letter that was published along with the depopulation forecast stated that they predict this decline because “the collapse of the Western financial system will wipe out the standard of living of its population.” And that “the population will be hit so badly… that the migration engine will start to work in reverse… leading to the demise of the (United) States.”
They wrote that “historically a change in the economic paradigm has resulted in a death toll that is rarely highlighted by mainstream historians.”
With the end of the Petro-Dollar, and with the rise of resource backed BRICS, the Federal Reserve’s USD Ponzi scheme is likely at its end. And without factoring in a smart recovery plan, this would make Deagel’s predictions a reality.

I have a question for Naomi. How do you distinguish the lies and liars if you perceive everybody communicating in the world about you, in authority, or of wannabe authority, is doing it?
IMO she is trying to fit an excuse into her own narrative. Truth begins with the words in the Bible and particularly of Jesus Christ. From that understanding through sincere prayers and submission one can begin to discern truth as provided by Him.
People do not have to guess or tie themselves up in knots trying to figure things out on their own. Accept Christ, do things His way. Just know that when you do the world opposed to Him will perceive you as crazy and vile. They will ridicule and persecute. It will be OK, you will be content in the army of believers, in His arms, and in the understanding you receive until you are with Him forever in Heaven.
One can be given great gifts and talents of personhood that prove useless without His release of His powers of observation, logic, wisdom and discernment into the believing person. This is how some of us on here have cut through the chaff and quickly understood what was going on from the get go with each passing event. We may not have every detail, generally they were not needed to know the truth because all is revealed when looking at life through the lens of faith in Jesus Christ.

It is not just Benny’s feed that is not in chronological order. I see that on everyone’s feeds. Generally, they seem to be in order but then there will be older ones interspersed with others. I have no idea what an algorithm would be that does this, but perhaps it is related to a tweet’s popularityor replies.
Here is a good spot to insert the summary of two experienced, professional LE officers background people with whom I am very close. One has served on security details that has protected previous POTUS and FL visits to our area. The other has received FBI training, bomb tech qualified, and SWAT team member who became sniper qualified from an early occupational role on a NG airbase in our area. Both are pros’ pros.
To the point – Assassination attempt by government operatives that was poorly executed from planning through implementation. ME – Of course, look how the last four years have gone overall; easy to see why.
Crooks was definitely the patsy, the bait. Easy to manipulate before and during.
They know by sound forensics there were three and perhaps four different shooters with different weapons. They agree with some of us on here that the first three were the intended assassination shots. The head turn saved PDT. Shots by Crooks were to attract return fire for the assassination of the attempted assassinator.
The”crime scene” around Crooks was a joke, totally mishandled. Everything was set up for plausible deniability of participants.
The pre-event security was intentionally bad to set up both PDT and the patsy with easy escape of the fed operative who was actually assigned to the assassination. They were not impressed with how local LE responded to the crisis, but understood they were probably handicapped by the SS control pre-event.
The lack of daily reports to media and the public on the status of the investigation is telling to them (as it is to all of us).
Good point on the investigation getting shoddy treatment to prevent successful prosecution.
That should be part of a larger circumstantial case that goes to the wider conspiracy. Congress should make their best circumstantial case they can and dump it in the public’s lap as soon as possible rather than wait on any investigations by the SS or FIB to finish. If they don’t like Congress’s verdict they can disprove it with evidence.

The problem with a Congressional investigation is, how many people knew the silencing of PDT was on the table? Most likely the controllers of congress knew so how will any investigation gain any traction?

As I first reported last week, there has been a Trump “rally” held every Saturday at a busy suburban intersection near Buffalo. Yesterday was the 149th gathering in a row. It was my second.
Last week there were 40 people by my count, and this week there were 20. The car traffic is always in the thousands, and there were thousands yesterday but noticeably reduced in number. This puzzled me.
My smart wife (who had been at work) later surmised that the numbers were affected by the Italian Festival, a highly popular event in Buffalo’s calendar which always attracts scores of thousands, IIRC about a quarter million. Buffalo is small enough where a huge event held somewhere might very well affect (reduce) traffic in another part of the region. My wife pointed out that the Erie County Fair will be held in the next couple of weeks, and that event attracts well over a million.
Next week will be the 150th in a row, and a convoy from Canada is expected, as well as a bigger turnout. The apparent organizer of the gathering (a pastor) has made efforts to turn out a bigger crowd I believe.
One of the Canadians is a DJ who is expected to set up his gear. That ought to be nice. Also expected is a local member of the NY State Assembly who is a MAGA supporter. I know nothing about him, but look forward to talking to him.
It was very hot yesterday, and although I tolerate heat pretty well, it got to me, so I left 15 minutes early. I had my bright red Trump hat on, and carried my Trump sign from 2016.
The people at the event are very nice, normal, well informed people. Cars coming by will honk their approval pretty much continuously, but the few nasty, hateful people who shout through the window are always greeted courteously,
Interesting to me is the variety of perspectives on who is running things. I am always surprised by Trump supporters who believe that Obama is in charge. There is no point in arguing the issue (and I do not), and it makes no practical difference, but IMO it reflects differing levels of consciousness on our side about what is happening.
In the end, it is wonderful to gather with people who support Trump, and who are concerned about America.

Well I went to the Trump rally in ST Cloud, MN yesterday. Attending a rally has been on my bucket list of things to do since I relocated back to the US and this rally was practically in my back yard. So I got together with a friend who is a Trump fan and we drove up there. We got there about 2:30 (doors opened at 3) Parking was still available in the back lot on a grassy field but we had to hike nearly a mile to find the end of the line! and there were plenty more people streaming in behind us! It was a very hot day, in the 90’s with ++humidity. Minnesotans are a tough lot when it comes to winter, but this hot humid weather, well, the Floridians can keep it! Nevertheless everyone was in good spirits as we SLOWLY started moving a little as the doors opened somewhere ahead. We stood in line for 3 ½ hours. Thankfully there was a decent breeze and some guys came by with a pickup full of water bottles and handed them out. They had told us no bags at all so no one even had a fanny pack, only what they could shove in pockets. A gal ahead of us found the live stream on her phone as the activities inside began at 5pm. We all had “tickets” and there was some grumbling about why do they keep giving out tickets when they already have more attendees than space. The arena held 5-6000, but there were WAAAAY more than that standing in line. About 6pm a bunch of people began streaming back and told us the arena was full, the outdoor parking lot with the jumbotron was full and there was standing room only outside the jumbotron area, By then the line finally started moving so we continued on ahead just to be able to finally at least see the arena and the jumbotron. It was indeed full, all chairs taken. We stood in a crowd milling around for awhile but we were pretty beat by the heat and long hours standing already and agreed we could not stand another 2-3 hours. So we made our way back to the car and I found the RSBN on youtube on my phone so we listened as we drove and finished watching at home. (A commentator on Gateway Pundit said he had arrived at 10:30am and had barely gotten in).
Observations. People of all ages but leaned toward middle aged or younger. Lots of teens and young people. Everyone was miserable in the heat and getting sunburned but still maintained good spirits, polite, taking turns, chatting with others in line. It likely would have been livlier if it weren’t so hot. A very well behaved crowd. The backbone of the country. There was also a seriousness in the crowd, which I also noticed to on faces of those behind Trump. Some no doubt due to the heat but maybe also serious concern for the country. They said about 25,000 people had attempted to go. Had it been outdoors we could have all fit.

By His stripes we are totally healed
We just need to trust our fate is sealed
It is our friendship with Him that reveals
The secrets that experience conceals
Jesus is a friend who ne’er lets us down
Through thick and thin He is always around
When we least expect He appears so close
He comes quickly by the prayer we chose
Did you know he is physician/therapist
He can diagnose/propose repair it best
When all have thrown in the towel tis true
He has the perfect plan for what to do
No one would believe if ever be told
His glorious guidance to behold
Unless they experienced the intimacy
Of a relationship with legitimacy
His patience purges tumultuous tears
His calmness fractures frightening fears
His nearness comforts the hopelessness
His strength befuddles broad brokenness
When we cry through the pain He lifts us up
Offers us a sip from the Blessing Cup
Encourages us to endure thru it all
As He readies us for His Divine Call
It’s an exercise in humility to give it all to Him
Not something He takes lightly on a whim
Tis a gift of assurance we’ll succeed
As long as we trust in Him and accede

This poem is a personal testimony, Trade…
My car was totaled, I was paralyzed from the neck down in a backboard, and was told there was only a slight chance I would be whole again !!! I said: ‘I will take it’ !!!
They did not know what Jesus could do !!! While they gave up on me, Jesus did not !!! For two years, He was my physician and therapist. They gave me pain pills; Jesus gave me hope, comfort, and love.
Who made me inside and out ? Who knew every nook and cranny in my body ? Who has the power to miraculously heal ? JESUS !!!
Nerves and muscles can be repaired by the Heavenly Physician/Therapist !!! How ? By His stripes, we are healed !!! Faith assures that !!!
I had a badly broken body – could have spent the rest of my life in a wheelchair – a helpless paraplegic – BUT GOD had other plans – AND – He made me whole again – mind, body, and spirit for His purpose and plan !!!
The doctors gave up on me – but I know what Jesus can do – it is recorded in God’s Word – and I experienced His Great Love firsthand !!!
People do not believe me because they do not really believe – nor do they have faith in Him !!!
I said – PRAY IT – BELIEVE IT – RECEIVE IT – it is not just a poem or meme – it is TRUTH !!!
I prayed, believed, and received a miracle !!! Why me ? Because my body may have been broken – but – my FAITH was strong !!!

I am so appreciative of your witness and recovery. You bring light to a world in desperate need. God wanted you to continue your mission. Our Lord stands ready to tend to the needs of his flock if we have faith and trust Him. Without sincere faith and acceptance of God’s will for our lives healing like yours is not likely to occur.
Just this morning I read a story that you would understand all too well. There is a high school baseball recruit who committed to our Vols from Alabama, Grayson Pope. In June 2023 the golf cart he was riding in was struck by a falling tree and it crushed him. He was not expected to live, in a coma, on a vent and paralyzed. I will link a thread from our local Vol sports fan website that you and others can read to follow the story as it evolved as the facebook posts along with photos from his mother and others are posted there. Faith, commitment, work, love and support of others, complete belief in the Great Physician. God obviously has plans for this young man and had a ministry of faith building in store for his family and community.
When I think of all I have accomplished for His Glory since that accident, it rarely ceases to amaze me !!!
What appears to be impossible for man is not for God !!!
God has a purpose and a plan for each one of us – and His Will be done in spite of the setbacks !!!
His Word is truth – everything we need to know is in His ‘Love Letter’ to us !!!

MISSING YOU
The family is quiet
I really know not why
There has been no real riot
Nothing that meets the eye
We were flourishing and strong
Even with the stress of each day
Then suddenly something went wrong
And we have somehow lost our way
Something has gone adrift
And split our family apart
There was a sudden shift
An attack on every heart
Some say life has gotten in the way
Too many distractions they bear
Some say away they must stay
And take solace away in prayer
Some are dealing with pain
Of the physical and the mental
From interaction they abstain
Thus with all we must be gentle

A PLACE TO REST
Our first thought at sunrise we say
Thank You for this beautiful day
For the birds that sing
The church bells that ring
Your promise to make straight our way
As the coffee is perking we pray
Our Armor of God keep evil away
For protection and strength
We humbly pray at length
So the enemy will not have his way
Our babies and animals need our care
We hustle with not a moment to spare
With breakfast a cooking
Disheveled we’re looking
We gather together blessings to share
The dishes pots and pans will soak
While we shower and shave not poke
We dress as we please
With the greatest of ease
And return to finish of which we spoke
With the kitchen all pristine and clean
Over a second cup we can glean
