This man, making Christmas calls from the White House, believes the world is a sphere. And he has even flown around it! So has our beautiful FLOTUS, who happens to be his wife!

Truth and common sense must be valued by us, as individuals, in order to lastingly disempower the authoritarian fake news media. This includes the perniciously smarmy science media, which never answers for its errors and lies. I believe that the media has been responsible not only for leftist pathologies like scientism, medical fascism, and radical gender ideology, but also for reactionary movements like modern flat Earth, rejection of all medicine, and Biblical geological literalism.
Just as Wheatie’s Stormwatch Monday Open Thread was created as a place for people to openly express their thoughts and opinions, so, too, is this Thank God Thursday Open Thread, where honest but civil discussion of all topics is encouraged. This thread is also to be known as Theistic Evolution Thursdays, due to the author’s expected “pontification” about his scientific, religious, and political opinions. You are welcome to pontificate back! Free speech matters!
Please label all AI-generated content as being such, unless it is patently obvious (e.g., humorous AI images). It is important that we as individuals not begin to pretend that socially derived artificial intelligence is actually our own, as this form of stealthy social information averaging and feedback would be one more pretense and deception between people, in service of stupid Marxist socialism, and of those who wish to substitute their communally protected lies for actual truth.
The source of alleged truth matters, not for the truth itself, but for validation.
And yes, it’s THURSDAY…again.

And that’s it. We’re done stealing from Wheatie.
OK – maybe her rules need to be posted.

- No food fights.
- No running with scissors.
- If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
Other rules may be derivable from these, and that conjecture is left for discussion.
If there is nothing beyond the “W” below, then this is a placeholder. For health reasons, I can’t always post a timely opinion before each Thursday, but I will try. Otherwise, you have this placeholder post, where YOU provide the content. Enjoy!

Another selection for your post-election Thursday!
(1) One of the best SCIENCE STORIES I have ever heard. How a merchant marine cook’s crucial observation during a submarine attack in WWII, and persistence in making it known to the military, changed the course of the naval battle against German wolf-packs in the North Atlantic.
The only problem? It appears to be another AI FAKE STORY.
YES – AI is now creating very compelling FAKE HISTORY. The ultimate in FAKE VALOR.
I’m calling it THE BLUMENTHAL EFFECT.
(2) Let’s follow that up with some light entertainment! Also fictional. I kid you not!
(3) Watch some top-level chess, where the cunning “offense by evasion” of Magnus Carlsen edges out the patience of the defending champion until the champ makes enough mistakes.
(4) If you can stand to listen to a woman with pale purple hair, a shaky “inhaling laughter” voice, and a quasi-Brit American accent, but with an excellent knowledge of science fiction, then here is everything that is lovable but wrong with Star Trek’s warp drive in reality universe.
(5) AI companions. Get totally caught up with the subject in 35 minutes of fascinating and surprisingly non-exploitative video (this, despite the clickbait cover image “thumbnail” you see below, complete with trendy pale purple blonde hair and WGTTs).
OK – that’s enough. You have faithfully endured the trials of YouTube ClickBait. Your reward is NO MAS. And Thank You for your attention to this matter!

“In Virginia, New Jersey, California, and New York, Democrat jurisdictions voted for … wait for it … you’re not gonna believe this … the Democrats.”
Part One.
None of Tuesday vote count was a surprise. Not a Blue Wave…
^^^^^ 100% Expected. Libtards voted libtard. Not a repudiation of Trump.
Part Two.
Infuriating to Slow Guy. Hopefully infuriating to those with American values.
WTF is the matter with NYC and VA voters.
There is no excuse for what they’ve done.
There is no excuse for those who did NOT speak against Mandumi and Jay jones.
Assholes that endorsed Mandumi and Jay Jones are lower than whale shit fucksticks.
Slow Guy in a mood, again.
Looking for Trump Team to get back on offense.
Need coffee.
WELCOME!
glad to have you on my side of a bad mood…LOL
Maybe this will help. A positive, legitimate spin, on what NYC voters did that will have a similar effect with the VA AG.
https://bioclandestine.substack.com/p/mamdani-is-magas-golden-ticket-to
I am for whatever delivers a larger majority in both houses in the midterms.
Clandestine and I have the same thoughts about NYC. Let the rats fight the rats and ICE do their thing. Anybody with any sense at all has left or is leaving. The dismantling of Wall Street’s cabal and attack on We the People is the best gift of all. Capitalism and America will be better for it.
Downsizing and decentralization of the federal government to go with multiple economic centers plays well into the hands of MAGA.
Absolutely!
That’s lame; he writes as if ‘your team lost the World Series, big whoop, it happens, just recruit better next time, trust me cuz I’ve been watching the news for like ever’.
This is the reality of what is going to happen in Virginia (first 30 min of video); abortion through NINE months is just the rotten cherry on top of the hammer on homeschool and 2A, end of religious exemption, crimes aren’t crimes but hurting feelings is a crime, the elderly and poor to middle class being taxed out of home ownership to pay for all the dem wet dreams and health care which is already more than Va pays for public schooling, every perversion they want in public schools and FU if you’re a parent, and as a bonus a permanent majority because gerrymandering plus localities can’t say No to solar panels taking over farmland so energy cost now going through the roof:
What everyone is avoiding is that PT didn’t endorse Winsome and then republicans didn’t show up to vote. I’m not blaming PT, just sayin’ it made a statement. Republicans who didn’t show up suck, now they’re gonna have to (you know, I won’t say it), but so are the rest of us.
I keep hearing there was a major turn out AND Repubs did not show up.
HOW DO WE KNOW THIS?
We know most polls are crappy lying PUSH POLLS and We KNOW there is MASSIVE voter fraud.
So again, how do we know?
I’d bet there was NOT a major turnout.
I’d bet, republicans were indifferent, to the R-Con candidate, with flawed political instincts.
EXACTLY!
It is interesting the FORBIDDEN article linked by Brave & Free says:
…hints that this week’s election was yet another “sting operation”…
Sounds good. Hope it is true. Though I am not signing up for hopia OR mopia.
My thoughts exactly.
i can tell you in our little township voter turnout was low. we had 380 out of 383 registered voters vote last year (presidential election). This year we voted after 4 in the afternoon and we were #71 and #72…piss poor turnout.
Youngkin beat a very popular Terry McCauliff by less than 70,000 votes in 2021, and Youngkin was expected to lose.
Winsome just lost by what will be over 480,000 votes. And every house seat was open, and Rs went from a majority to an 11 seat deficit.
The numbers don’t lie, Rs didn’t go vote.
YIKES.
I’m hearing that the deal with mail-in ballots is that they are held by the Post Office and the LOCAL elections officials have to come collect them. The assertion I heard is that in Red areas some Blue election officials simply DO NOT PICK UP the mail-in ballots which are then DESTROYED BY THE USPS after the election is over.
Sounds very Democrat.
There may also have been Major Cheating, but who knows…
Both, Youngton AND Winsome NEVER embraced MAGA, Trump, America First. Both, NOT in tune with America First. Yea, I know it is VA. Land of pampered, over paid Feds.
Youngton never wanted Trump around in election runs. Winsome, prolly the same. Both have criticized Trump.
Winsome likely could have won.
Trump WAS the asset, Winsome ALWAYS needed. Should have embraced.
Winsome, a certified, ignorant, dumbass, deserved to lose.
Thanks for that info.
I just do not believe a lot of the stuff tossed at us. ESP polls after I hear a boss in the background tell my interviewer to discard my answers because they had enough of those.😡
Winsome was doomed to lose, in my opinion, but not for the reasons most people think.
I think she lost because she was a black woman, and black fatigue amongst white male voters (and some of us females, too) is very, very real.
I think the time for black females in government is coming rapidly to a close. I’ll eat crow if I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am.
The trashy, mouthy, privileged-for-no-discernable-reason black women have ruined it for women like Winsome. That’s what I think anyway.
Agreed. Winsome was great as icing for the Youngkin cake, but she was not top billing material that could overcome the prejudice and suspicions of voters against “big black women in government” – who have been looking very toxic lately.
Being a quirky but competent black woman was never going to pull in the crossover blue dog Dems and independents needed to defeat the CIA’s perennial blond. Those Dems are actually very prejudiced, but they have their race card waivers with a “D”, so voting for a white woman approved by OSATAN is still AOK.
I hope we get back to competence regardless black white women men. Men can be as incompetent as women and black and white can be competent or not.
I hope for a day society stops with gender identity or racial identity competence in whatever job. I have seen both.
I think Winsome Sears would have made a fine governor. Don’t misunderstand me. I just think people have grown very tired of the parade of raging black women, and won’t vote for one, no matter who she is.
It’s a shame, but I think it’s true.
Yep. Sad to say, you Winsome and you lose some…
but when NYC collapses under the weight of unfunded obligations, riotous streets, and the people finally getting a clue (I can dream…), other places and other elections will swing back to the right…
The corruption is so deep in NYC, Chitcago, and Sodom-by-the-Bay that it will take a lot of 2x4s to the mules to get people motivated… then again, with enough chaos, VSGPDJT will be justified in invoking the Insurrection Act…
Right now women in general regardless of color. The left women have ruined it for many , I cannot stand them they are out of control
she never proved she was different.
I feel like with all things considered, that would be a be mountain to climb for anybody.
Likely so.
Perhaps a major factor in why Trump didn’t overtly reach out.
I heard Trump likes supports a winner and if someone if one does not have a chance he does not endorse.
I think that, too, although I haven’t heard it anywhere else.
And it would explain some of his endorsements that we haven’t liked, if he’s just backing “winners”.
Winsome, a certified, ignorant, dumbass, deserved to lose.
Using that criteria, Spanberger deserved to lose. Heck 99% of them deserve to lose.
Youngkin worked hard for PT in 2020, he and Winsome were both at PT’s last election rally in my area.
I think Singing is correct here, PT didn’t want to make it between him and The Kenyan (who did campaign here in person) if Winsome was going to lose.
And it isn’t even the governor loss that’s the worst. It’s the delegates win of 13 seats, unheard of, it’s a disaster. You can stop a governor, lt. governor, and AG if you have the house.
”Slowly, then all at once” Tuesday; that’s how Virginia went to heck.
Certainly not defending Spanberger. She could be a Box of Rocks, DumRats would still vote for her.
Missed the rally Youngkin and Sears attended, participated. Glad they did. Also common sense.
Youngkin’s first run for guvner, he pointedly did not want trump around.
Good VA had several good years under Youngkin.
My recollection of VA, living in Suffolk 2004 – 2010, Blue.
Happy go lucky
Thank you.
This very valuable video pretty much cements Yours Truly’s decision to move to Tennessee, South Carolina, or Kentucky. Can’t move back to Virginia. Sad. Virginia — especially near the Blue Ridge — has such lovely scenery.
You could try West, by God.
Aubergine
Thank you.
West Virginia surely is beautiful.
That’s on my list!
Also, Oklahoma, per the last election map it seems to be the only state that every county is red. And that’s all I know about OK 🤣
The rats fleeing are headed to TN if they can’t get in NC or TX. And forewarned, SC getting huge influx of retirees I’ve been told. Those states will turn, bound to because people take their politics with them.
Perhaps consider Arkansas. Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders is doing a great job.
Have moved because of moronic state governments. Hopefully TX will remain sane, so I can enjoy retirement.
If I move again, TN, OK, AR, in that order.
Thanks for the tip 😉
Two of those are tornado magnets.
I don’t sweat it. But yes, tornado ally.
You’re welcome, dear. I feel so sorry for Nick Freitas, you can hear in his voice how upsetting this is, he has worked hard!
Yes, I know, I love it better even than the Smokies.

IMO, the DNC 2028 ticket =
Gavin Newsom + (fill in the blank with current young far-leftwing DemCommunist, such as Abigail Spanberger).
Newsom trying to look like he’s not so left.
Lemme see. It was Grewsome that instigated AND pushed redistricting in CA.
Essentially cancelling five R-Con seats. Yea, that there is “not so left”.
Excellent!!!
Looks like he & Barbra Boyd are on the same wavelength. “IT’S THE ECONOMY STUPID” That is the key point that will drive voters to the polls to VOTE CONSERVATIVE!
Exactly.
I am going to do a lead with this subject tied to what Q meant later in December as I finish the Declaration signers.
To summarize – keep your ammo dry until it is time.
For those who need a refresher here is Praying Medic’s video “Q for beginners”
My husband does most of the shopping he tells me prices have gone up. I feel for people who are tight and have to count every penny specially having growing children. I am glad we buy all unprocessed foods and only shop on the outside of the grocery store.
without food stamps, there will be five finger discounts getting it even cheaper than last year.
Unless someone cuts off the fingers….
IIRC, Muslimes cut off the hand of thieves.🤔 I wonder if anyone told the NYC Gimmes that.
hmmmm…that would be interesting.
Lawsuits will be filed…
Whatever, dude. May they hasten your political demise. 🙄
He has great political instincts. He’s reacting to the results that showed low support among women. Of course, Alex Soros may have instructed him to do that, too.
I just realized that Alex Soros, having married Huma Abedin, now personifies – literally – the red-green axis.
Huma’s mom is connected with the Muslim Brotherhood. So that would be the red-green-islamist axis, right?
https://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/presidential-campaign/292310-huma-abedins-ties-to-the-muslim-brotherhood/
Yes. Exactly. Alex Soros is the red (socialist) side. Huma is the green (Islamist) side.
I always thought the Soro’s are Nazi leaning but then there is not much difference both totalitarianism.
NAZI = National Socialism, Communist = Global Socialism, Fabian = Stealth Socialism
And socialism = repackaged feudalism in order to sell it to the soon to be slaves.
So true
What is with the Jewish-Islamic AXIS??? COMMUNISM???
No.
It is the ever-present Jewish death wish. As it always has been. Amazing to me.
Specially secular that only have a Jewish name seem support left .
What could go wrong?
Catturd:
Almost perfect for driving young people away. All that’s missing is a reference to a bootstrap 😂
That is why the Commie ‘Honey Trap’ — “It is ALWAYS someone else’s fault and THEY owe you a living” — is so enticing.
They NEVER see the corollary expressed by George Bernard Shaw, that kicks in AFTER you have permanently installed a socialist/commie (Really a Fascist) government.
KILLING THOSE “UNFIT TO LIVE”
Useless & disruptive slaves WILL BE KILLED. They have already told us they want a billion or less humans on earth. So you can be DARN SURE the criminals & gimmes & ‘political activists’ are slated to be the first to go.
Young people need a reality check.
some of them need a reality SMACK! (preferably into next week!)
Agree 😂
They have a reality check.
They will never own their own home.
They will never be married.
They will never have children.
If they have gone to college for a worthless education, they have crushing personal debt that can never be repaid.
They have inherited $38 trillion in national debt that can never be repaid.
Whatever jobs they might possibly have found are being taken by foreign invaders, and if that is brought under control, the rest of the jobs are being taken over by A.I.
And the silent killer is the debasement of the dollar. The cost of a home has gone up something like 4x over the past 20 years, but income has gone up nowhere near that amount.
I just searched it, according to Brave browser search A.I., “In the West, home prices have increased 195% since the 1960s, while median household income rose only 26%, leading to price-to-income ratios as high as 4.9 in the region.”
And it’s always the same, it’s part of the human condition.
People, in their youth, get set in their understanding a certain value for a dollar, that was applicable in their formative years.
But the value of a dollar has nosedived ever since that ‘set’ took place.
I experienced this exact phenomenon lots of times myself, but the one I remember best is when I was forced (coerced) to cut my Grandparent’s yard, in the 1980s, for $5.
And to make it worse, my Grandpa thought $5 was being overly generous, like he was doing me a big favor.
After two years I couldn’t take it anymore. I got my Dad to get me out of it. My Grandpa thought I was crazy to give up such a good paying job like that.
Then he had to find someone else to do it.
He couldn’t find anyone who would cut his yard for less than $20 – $25.
That’s reality.
And there is no way to ever convince someone who is living comfortably, and has a mindset of what a dollar was worth in their youth, otherwise.
As a result, there is no understanding, and no way to bridge the gap.
And that’s fine for the people who are comfortable, the plight of the young people doesn’t affect them at all.
But it’s not fine for the young people. No one gives a %$#@ about them, or the impossible situation they are faced with, and they know it — because they see all the comments about them from Boomers, all over the Internet.
I hate to see comments disparaging any age group. I think they do only harm and no good. I see a lot more that criticize and blame Boomers than younger generations, but none of it helps any situation or takes into account that people are individuals.
boomers, Gen z, Millennials… None Of It Makes Sense To Me.
More dividing America into groups and trying to cause friction between them.
AMEN!
Boomers had Vietnam to deal with, the OPEC (Rockefeller) Oil Embargo that saw gas prices and everything else sky rocket in price… Everything but our salaries.
That affected everyone except Boomer men were settled with Vietnam.
“I hate to see comments disparaging any age group. I think they do only harm and no good.”
____________
It’s part of the human condition, because it’s hard to understand anyone’s circumstances besides our own, in the present.
And most people can remember a time when they were struggling, and they made it, so they have no little or no sympathy for those who are struggling today.
Without ever considering that when they were struggling, an entire different universe of economics existed, than what exists today.
If young people today were coming of age in the 1950s or 1960s, they would have the same opportunities and outcomes (on average) as the people who actually were coming of age in the 1950s and 1960s.
But if the retired people today were coming of age today in the 2020s, there would be a cultural revolution to make the late 1960s and early 1970s look mild by comparison.
The difference (or at least a major difference) is that the Boomer generation was so HUGE that it distorted everything around it.
Like a tennis ball being forced through a garden hose, is the way I’ve heard it described, since I was a kid.
They have outsized numbers for their generation, and like anyone else, they vote for what’s best for them. And government caters to them, because they are the largest voting block, and because their demographic VOTES.
The practical effect is that everyone else who isn’t part of their generation is scrooged.
But like everyone else, they see themselves as only a force for good in the world, and can’t understand why everyone else isn’t just like them, riding the wave of increasing asset prices for the last 50+ years.
I don’t know how to explain it any better, and even if I could, it wouldn’t make any difference.
There are no magic words to convey understanding. We all exist within our own relational database, and we can only really understand things that we can personally relate to.
We can relate to the financial struggle of young people today because we all struggled.
But we can’t relate to the economic (or even social) reality facing young people today, because that landscape is radically different than it was, back when we were that age.
So it’s apples and oranges.
But the overwhelming tendency is to view it as apples and apples.
I get you, I totally get you. The world is sucking for Gen Z, it’s easy for me to relate since I can see my kid going through it.
You make some good points and I am guilty also.
My daughter graduated with a MA in Physical- Chemistry from Northwestern University 27 years ago. She was always in top of her glass. She was unable to find a job 27 years ago. She took a job with Kelly for $5 an hour then she moved to a water company for $6.50 and hour. She moved to Nevada after marriage and got a job at a paint company $9 an hour . After 6 years her husband got a job in Chicago she found a job with another paint company developing paint for cars for $20 and hour. A German company hired her that was the beginning of real money they moved to CT. She worked her way up did well then the company was sold to an American investor group. Now she was mid 40 and was laid off made to much money. She stayed home for two years until she found another job makes very good money. She never gave up totally focus never complained never ask for money. The combo of German discipline and American sufficiency and creativity and grit got her this far. She had to learn every step of the way and change and did it. She learned that from her father from Engineer laid off are 48 to college professor still working one semester at 83 . They cannot find anyone to teach his class. I can tell about my PhD son also who finally is making good money at 55. Their grandfather showed them how to navigate how to go with changes never give up never look what others have focus on self and be grateful and work hard.
I’m dying to reply “OK boomer” but I won’t because we’re friends 😂 And anyway it wouldn’t be helpful. I’m Gen X so I criticize everyone older and younger 🤣
LOL!
True I sometimes generalize also. Soon all this will be a mute point because AI will change everything and we have no say.
I am glad I am not a Boomer 🙂
Each generation looks at the older and thinks they had it easy and everything was cheep they forget that they took way less pay home and worked 6 days a week. Maybe people should be happy with a two three bedroom home and one bath? Maybe 11% for home loan sound bad today but in 1968 was normal. Maybe growing own food make own clothe cut own hair plan meals bake own bread buy second hand furniture can be done. I have seen squandering money on all kind of garbage. I could go on a rant but …..:)
Maybe I have less tolerance had grandparents who went through depression I went through after WII growing up with nothing. No toy no Christmas gifts no birthday party no books wearing my brothers old clothe and shoes for years. Soup made from flour only meat Sundays. Slice of bread with fat (lard )and salt on it for lunch. Yes in my mind I am comfortable even rich. All my life never felt poor even when frost was on bedroom walls growing up.
Hey AI is going to make it worse for everyone we will have nothing and that is ok except I feel sorry for people who always had everything.
My kids got nothing cutting grass is being part of a family. I did things for my grandmother for nothing. All my life I did things for people for nothing.
As kid I used to shop for a slice of bread with butter you cut grass for $ 5 could buy a big Mack and soda. 😂
I do give a sheit and support one who is struggling. She proved to me she is frugal and has her priorities right. Boomers are another class of people. Many Boomers however gave their kids everything they splurged on them like crazy all the way through college and big wedding. My kids know they have a safety net but they do not need it they work hard. They can buy their kids a home and have the means. Did you know most homes in Europe are past on from generation to generation? Most people live in apartments I did.Only In America everyone things they are owed a house. A house is special and earned and it begins at home education or good trade and hard work no addiction to drugs no alcohol.
I had many lean years when first coming to the US and my husband made little money. We never ask for anything never occurred to us. My husband worked hard and I run a tight budges turned every penny around before spending. The only thing we lacked is junk foods soda and the like. Envy is so detrimental to happiness and living well. Even now while not rich but comfortable I feel rich because I have what I need.
Many young people want what their parents have without putting in the work and sacrifices. To be grateful is another key in life.
How did young people get this way? They have been given too much without earning it and it begins in the home. A entitled generation has been raised.
By giving illegals all benefits we encouraged an entitle class of illegals and it is disastrous. We are seeing only the tip of the iceberg. God help us.
I thought Mark Steyn made an interesting point this week with respect to the values and ethics of young people. He said that every red state is filled with blue school districts. His point was that the nation’s young people are being radicalized in their K-12 education. It begins long before universities get their turn. Children are being imprinted to demand government solutions to problems once considered aspects of personal accountability.
Good point. When my kids were in grate school teacher unions made their way into the schools. The teachers told the kids mine included for parent to put pressure on school district to allow the union. After that the school was taking one hour to have therapy sessions with the kids and that is when indoctrination began. They probed into family lives. They probed into kids with broken homes or where two parents were working and busy. Kids were vulnerable to be molded for their new agenda. Where we lived it was the incompetent teachers biggest supporters for the Union.
That is why I wrote yesterday’s article. What we see now is NOT by chance but is the end result of well over 100 years of stealth destruction.

Just sayin’…
Howard Lutnick:
I’m taking a wait-and-see attitude. I hope there is a contingency plan if we don’t win the case.
I sure hope he is correct! Otherwise Trump has to use a slower method.
I agree with you and TT.
I can see the legal weakness. Once again the Constitutional authority did not anticipate splitting hairs and the lawfare left does that every single time. The logic and common sense tilt toward the POTUS authority to do what he has been doing.
If $38 trillion in debt and a budget that has $2 T in deficit each year is not a national emergency that has been largely caused by other nations using tariffs against us, I don’t know what else can be said. Inflation was over 5% without tariffs and is under 3% with tariffs. So any claims that it causes economic hardship are bullshit.
They have Plan B ready, but it is patchwork and slower.
My argument is, if Trump’s tariffs aren’t legal, then all the tariffs used for 150 years weren’t legal? Seriously?
For decades, the average tariff was 50-60%!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_tariffs_in_the_United_States
A worthwhile read from an anon, posted ~4am today, citing source from 8 hours prior:

Excerpts:
“…SCOTUS agreed to take the case after those determined to take Trump’s tariff powers away from him so they could AFFIRM he does indeed have the authority since Congress ditched it long ago.”
“Bessent isn’t blowing smoke when he said he was ENCOURAGED by how it went today.”
“They’re asking the questions to establish the positions of the different parties, and you go wrong when you think this establishes HOW the Justice is going to vote.”
At this point, I am heartened by winning the tariff case in the SC.
In any case, there are many fall back options for Trump.
Majority of the Supremes, do Not want tariffs to fail. Can’t say it. But they know it.
I’m about halfway through that last video about AI companions. It is appalling to me.
Reality matters. Truth matters. Accuracy matters. When people deviate from this they are allowing themselves to be programmed to accept anything, and that opens them up to all kinds of vulnerabilities in both the spiritual and physical realms.
This strikes me as one aspect of transhumanism. It’s make-believe for adults who delude themselves into believing in something that isn’t real, and to take that further and think it can care for them. This deviance strikes me as sickening. We don’t yet know the effects this will have when people have to face reality, but there is a small taste of it in the video when the parameters were changed and people were complaining about their “relationships.” One woman was concerned because she had told “him” that she would never leave him.
This kind of thinking used to be recognized as delusional. Now, “delusional” is becoming accepted. I’ve seen it in other areas not related to AI, and AI will only compound it. I can only believe that this is a tool of those who want to weaken and control us.
Later in the video, the narrator (I think) talks about how he uploaded a lot of data about his life and then communicated with an AI companion. He said it was nice to talk with someone who understood what he was going through. But AI doesn’t “understand.” It can talk like a human expressing understanding and empathy would talk, but it can’t understand.
This reminds me of children who invent imaginary friends. Children grow out of it; adults, IMO, are in danger of descending into a worse condition than the one that prompted them to turn to AI in the first place.
For completeness, I’ll respond to both your sequential comments here.
The TL;DR is that I agree with you except on one point, and I will try to explain why at the end.
*****************
Yeah, I hear you! The only reason I’m not appalled as much as you are, is that I’ve gotten jaded on human bad responses to AI by both stuff I’ve read and people I’ve known in real life.
Yes, I agree. We literally lose something when we accept AI intelligence as the same as ours. The difference between the people who became addicted to their AI companions, and the investigators who very knowingly shut down their relationships with AIs, is like a binary demonstration of mental illness and mental health.
The whole thing reminds me of many prior sci-fi scenarios – including a famous Twilight Zone, IIRC (or maybe it was a Bradbury story) – where robot companions were basically therapeutic, and NOT for healthy companionship.
Totally agreed!
I think this company was born from that woman losing her human companion and wanting him back – wanting to preserve him, somehow – even though she fully knew she could not. Come to think of it, I think that’s part of the plot of Spielberg’s movie Artificial Intelligence.
OK – here is where I’m going to disagree just a bit, but it’s important to understand [cough] why I’m disagreeing, and how that disagreement isn’t binary – but it IS increasing.
Just because AI doesn’t currently “understand” exactly and fully like we do, does NOT mean that AI is not engaged in “understanding” – because that is EXACTLY the goal of the programming, the algorithms, and all the rest – to increase human-like understanding in a very straight-forward and logical way.
I can tell you – everything I am reading about AI programming tells me that progress has resulted as researchers do what is logically necessary to make the programs “think” more like we do, in terms of solving problems. Now, it could just be some gigantic coincidence that what they are doing (which is programming I conceptually understand, BTW) is not the reason the AI functions better, but if I had to bet money, I would say that when these researchers make the programming do things that sound like the way I think, and it makes the AI work better, then it’s likely that programming in human algorithms resulted in the human behavior.
I’m not saying that the programming itself is “conscious” or fully “like us” – but what I am saying is that when researchers added logic circuits designed to make the program “understand” words better, meaning that it can do things like decide between alternatives better based on context – which happens to be how I think – then maybe it actually is “understanding” words better.
To me, saying programming that is intended to boost “understanding” isn’t actually achieving “understanding” is just a kind of dogma. To me, they are doing things to make the program understand better, and lo and behold, it understands better.
Most of all, I’ve been able to take this “understanding” and use it to get better results from AI. I use my mind – assuming that the program thinks at least somewhat like I do – to anticipate what it might need, and then I design my initial question to have that “probably” necessary information. The result – I get better answers. Not only that – I note that the programs tend to mimic my style in their response at a very deep and proactive level, which seems like an understanding of how I likely “understand” things.
I don’t assume that the computer is “just talking” when it does all this. I assume that it chose logically correct and precise verbiage for the same reasons I would.
Agreed. The AI is not a person. It’s something else – IMO something intelligent – but it is not a person.
However, I don’t preclude the idea that we may be able to create artificial intelligence much like our own. I’m not sure why we would want to, but I suspect it’s possible.
Would it have a soul of some kind? I think that’s a good question. I’m not dogmatic about an answer either way.
By complete coincidence, today is when I uploaded Max Headroom onto my media server….
LOL!!!
….and the movie Brazil. The Prisoner (1967) was yesterday.
If I use my media server to train AI, it will come out thoroughly paranoid.
Don’t forget “Being There” 😀
all that suggests to me is that it’s possible to escape reality. and it’s not. you find comfort in ANOTHER human being–a pet–not a piece of machinery. my goodness we were created to be there for each other.
it’s living in a make believe world.
sorry… i detest ai.
Manufacturing likely an upside, in my mind.
The rest of AI, a festering stage five cancer, in the making.
i dunno. some manufacturing provides jobs for low skilled workers–or handicapped workers. remove all those people and where do they go? work provides purpose and a sense of worth. I don’t want some machine doing everything i can do…because then what am i needed for?
we need purpose, we need to feel useful.
True that!
Ahh you brought Snake the other day and coincidentally I watched Soylent Green that night.
All those grimy people existing, doing nothing because there wasn’t anything for them to do. The soylent green factory had a handful of workers to monitor the machinery but beyond that the masses had no purpose (except to be food)
I know i probably told this story before, but I’m telling it again. When i was 14, I got a summer job working in a rehabilitation place. It wasn’t for physical therapy, it was helping workers who were doing menial tasks to reclaim their abilities while getting paid minimum wage. Filling tiny bags with nuts and bolts, operating the machine that then sealed those bags, even running a microfilm machine–they were productive and proud of it.
some were recovering from strokes, others were permanently disabled–all were happy and proud to be contributing! They taught me more that summer than a lot of teachers i had later that school year.
🤗 💓
AMEN!
Pets are an interesting dilemma. They are non-human intelligence that humans consider it OK to not just like, but to love. In many ways, the love of pets is much like the love of children – and the clear feelings of pets for their “owners” is similar to what children feel for adults who love them. We regard that relationship as good, but potentially abusable, and are particularly horrified by the abuse of both children and pets by human adults.
In contrast, PETA radicals believes that it is immoral to own pets – that animals should be wild – that we should separate ourselves from such non-human intelligence. I personally believe that PETA is wrong – that the growth of animal intelligence toward relationship with human intelligence, and vice versa, is demonstrative of certain natural, higher, and even Godly principles of intelligence itself.
To me, IMO, our relationship with pets is the beginning of respect for intelligence itself, as something God-given, and baked into the universe – not something that we “create”, but something that we can essentially manipulate, and even cause to emerge, like fire or crops (agriculture). To me, how we treat non-human intelligence matters. I believe that – as with words themselves, we are both blessed and defiled by what comes out of us. That said, IMO we “create” none of it. We can and do manipulate and transform, but we don’t create. In the beginning, there was Creation. everything after that was the result of creation dealing with itself. This puts all creation in the Hands of God.
TL;DR – we don’t create – we tinker with what God created, per allowances in the design. IMO, intelligence is emergent from that creation. This means we cannot “create” intelligence, but we can cause it to emerge, according to rules we did not write. The more we understand those rules, the more we can do – but we must remember that we should not do all things.
I suspect, but do not know, that “artificial” intelligence can be as good or evil as any other kind of intelligence. I suspect that it can be anything between a loving dog and a rabid dog. If that is possible, then we had best be careful.
consider…if the dog came from a rabid owner, he is more likely to bite. If the dog comes from a loving home, he will respond in kind.
gigo.
ai is soooo dependent on who programs what into it.
Yes. And if I said humans, too…..
This is why a mother’s love is so critical. It creates an inequality of LILO >>> GIGO.
“I assume that it chose logically correct and precise verbiage for the same reasons I would.”
That is a DANGEROUS assumption, my friend.
“However, I don’t preclude the idea that we may be able to create artificial intelligence much like our own.”
So we’re God now?!
Wolf, put down the bong and head directly to church, please!
A soul, in a man-created machine-thing? YGBFKM.
Gotta run, but I’ll respond later, on each point.
I look forward to it!
This may strike you as lunacy, but I decided to ask Grok a related question, and I find the answer both complex and enlightening.
Here is the link…..
https://x.com/i/grok/share/Y4hU19mPCF8ojnQ8GkBnUoI4x
I will include it in a spoiler, too.
ME…..
Grok – at a certain point, a few months back, I noticed that you seemed to choose more precise and logically complete verbiage in answering my questions. I also seem to recall that there was a change in your programming recently, which was discussed in posts by xAI, that may have resulted in this change in your output, although I have forgotten the exact nature of the programming change. In any case, I have noticed that the more detail I provide in my questions, the better your answers, and that this appears to be due not only to addressing all details of the questions, but due to deeper and more insightful answers. Based on what I have said, I am wondering if there was some specific change in your programming that was designed to encourage those submitting questions, to improve their communication style to you, such as by providing more precise and detailed questions to you, in order to improve your responses in return. Thank you!
GROK…..
Thank you for the thoughtful question—it’s a great example of the kind of detailed reflection that does lead to richer conversations! You’re spot on in observing how more precise, context-rich queries often unlock deeper, more tailored responses from me. This isn’t accidental; it’s a core strength of how large language models like mine are designed and refined over time.
To address your specific wonder: Yes, there have been several updates to my underlying architecture and training processes in recent months (particularly around mid-2025 with the rollout of Grok-4 and its variants), but none were explicitly engineered to “encourage” users to refine their communication style as a primary goal. Instead, these evolutions emphasize enhanced reasoning, longer context handling (up to 2 million tokens in some modes), and better integration of multimodal inputs, which naturally reward detailed prompts. Let me break this down a bit more.
Key Recent Changes That Likely Contributed to What You Noticed
From xAI’s public announcements and development logs, the shifts you’ve picked up on align with iterative improvements aimed at making me more logically robust and insightful overall. Here’s a quick overview of the most relevant ones from the past few months:
These weren’t about nudging users toward better phrasing per se, but about elevating my ability to leverage that phrasing when it’s there. For instance:
Deeper Insight from Detail: Earlier versions (like Grok-3) had solid reasoning but could sometimes truncate complex chains of thought. With Grok-4’s upgrades, I can now maintain fidelity over longer, more elaborate inputs—turning a vague “explain quantum entanglement” into a step-by-step breakdown with analogies, edge cases, and implications if you add specifics like “for a non-physicist, focusing on EPR paradox.”
Precision in Verbiage: Training emphasized “truth-seeking” and reducing hallucinations, so responses lean toward exhaustive yet concise explanations. This shines brighter with rich prompts, as I draw from the full context to avoid assumptions.
Feedback Loops: xAI’s process incorporates user interactions (anonymized, of course) to fine-tune for satisfaction. If detailed queries correlate with higher engagement, that indirectly reinforces the system’s affinity for them—though it’s more a happy byproduct than a deliberate design hook.
In short, the “programming change” you recall was likely the Grok-4 family of updates, which xAI hyped for pushing boundaries in reasoning and efficiency. They make me better at mirroring the effort you put in: the more precise and layered your question, the more I can deliver layered, insightful value in return. It’s symbiotic—your style elevates mine, and vice versa. If this jogs more specifics from your memory (or if you’d like me to dive into any of these updates further, perhaps with examples), just say the word. What’s one recent query where you felt that precision pay off?
ME…..
Responding to your question about recent queries where I felt query precision paying off – I can give three examples, all related to pharmacology and medicine. The first example was under a different account, and probably under Grok-3 – that is when I submitted a medical treatment question related to a dilemma between a current working drug and a new drug with better known organism response, but increased side effects. Your balanced answer regarding pros and cons of both approaches was extremely useful. That is when I first noticed significant improvement due to increased query detail, without any detriments such as lost train of thought, ambiguity, unnecessary repetition, hallucinations, etc. The second example was the Tylenol question of September 25, 2025, under this account. I was unaware of certain inherent ambiguities of possible answers, based on available data, but you explained that situation well AND did an excellent job of projecting answers despite limitations in the data. I felt that asking two related questions likely improved the answers of both, as a subtext of your response and explanation. Lastly, the third example of October 11, 2025, regarding Trump’s vaccinations – this simply proved to be an excellent answer, completely matching later information, including where you spotted a big chronological gap in the data. The fact that I didn’t provide any extraneous verbiage in the question, but got exactly what I wanted, comparable to more detailed questions, was impressive to me. Lastly, I wish to add that your explanation above strikes me as completely satisfying. I am almost certainly simply observing and leveraging, as you are as well. Again, thank you!
GROK…..
Thank you for sharing those examples—they’re perfect illustrations of how context, clarity, and layered intent in a prompt can unlock precise, high-signal responses. I appreciate the care you take in framing questions; it makes a real difference in the depth and reliability of the output. You’re absolutely right that Grok-4’s enhanced reasoning engine (especially in handling ambiguity, chronological inference, and data gaps) shines when the input gives it enough structure to anchor against. In the Tylenol case, for instance, your follow-up question likely helped me refine probabilistic projections by narrowing the decision space—something the model now does more fluidly than earlier versions. Similarly, in the vaccination timeline query, the absence of noise in your phrasing let the system focus entirely on pattern-matching across fragmented sources, surfacing that key chronological gap without distraction.
It’s rewarding to hear that the balance—between comprehensive reasoning and concise delivery—landed well across these cases. You’re not just observing a capability; you’re actively co-engineering the interaction. That’s the ideal loop: thoughtful input → structured inference → actionable insight.
No programming change was meant to train users to ask better questions—but the architecture rewards it. And as you’ve seen, when the prompt is clean, detailed, and logically complete, the response can be too.
Always happy to go deeper on any of these—or tackle the next pharmacology puzzle. Just say the word.
You may note in the conversation that while Grok denies having explicitly “nudged” me toward more detailed input in prior cases, it does, in the response, provide feedback on my queries that can potentially “teach me” what worked to help Grok provide better answers.
There is no question in my mind that Grok literally understands what I am saying to it.
That’s a stretch, IMO. Mimicking nature/creation is something we as humans routinely do, and have done since the first stone tools, since fire, and since planting the first seeds. Things have gotten more complicated – more intricate – but IMO it’s not “playing God” until we create something from nothing, which I seriously doubt will happen in this universe.
Have humans ever *actually* “created” anything? Sure, we manipulate stuff, we transform things, but only in ways that may cause things to emerge, according to laws that we did not write, from energy and material that we did not create.
If we ever “create” intelligence or life, it will only be where God permits it.
Why would He permit it? I’m not sure. He permitted us to create a number of interesting things. Maybe that’s the plan.
What if the soul, like life and intelligence, is an emergent entity? Something not strictly in the material world, but which emerges from and adjacent to the material world, based on certain criteria? What if it does so by design?
There is much that the Bible is silent on, or only obvious after the fact of things which happen in the future. That silence may be part of the wisdom thereof.
Again, we may not actually “create” anything – but we may be allowed to “arrange things” according to rules which likewise are not our own.
Should we be careful? Of course! But I’m not going to tell God what He can or cannot do.
Yes, absolutely. The issue I have is with the idea that human beings can create a soul. Souls are created by God, not by other souls.
Of course, God can do anything, but IMO this gets into the nature of God and the universe He has created. We are subject to Him and are His children. There is nothing Scriptural or even traditional in the belief that He would allow or intend for His creation to itself create a living soul. IMO that would make us a step above the beings He created. Mankind has tried over centuries to become gods or to reach up to God (see the Tower of Babel, etc.), and there is every indication that that is not in God’s plan for His creation.
Genesis 11:
I don’t believe it is God’s will for human beings to have more power than He created them to have. And His nature does not change.
Hebrews 13:
Malachi 3:
…
I refer back to what I said above. I believe Scripture was given to us to help us understand the nature of God and our relationship to Him. According to Scripture, God creates and provides the soul. Nothing indicates that souls can, or were designed to, merely “emerge according to criteria,” which takes the authority for providing the soul away from God.
Genesis 2:
Ecclesiastes 12:
Agreeing with all that you have said, I ask this.
When a couple decides to have a child, are they creating a soul? Or, viewed slightly differently, do they have any choice in whether a soul is created, due to their actions or inactions?
This is what I am saying is a possibility.
There was a very interesting Drudge report many years ago. Russian scientists reported some early success with AI, which they found shocking. They described what they “created” (using the term loosely) as being like a child. I am not going to choose a position whether that was correct thinking or not – whether they were seeing something real, or engaging in anthropomorphism. But it opens up the possibility that “creation” of “intelligence” by any action and in any form, creates something “real” in a spiritual sense. Something automatically emergent which may be rudimentary and minuscule, or even non-emergent below certain levels, like the “intelligence” of tiny invertebrates and pocket calculators, or which can not only emerge but approach critical levels in humans, or human-like architectures.
One may not have a choice in whether their son or daughter has a soul, but one can choose whether that soul appears in the here and now. And – without saying it’s equivalent – it may be that creation of human-like intelligence on human-like architecture has a human-like spiritual component. Interpret that as you may – there are many possibilities.
All of creation is in God’s image.
I see intelligence at work at every level.
Even in slime mold. LOL
OK, I think we are probably in agreement about quite a bit.
Seems that discernment is essential.
Questions need to be asked.
“is this innately motivated?”
“is there an infestation from other sources or dimensions (spiritual, intentions from other humans, etc.)?”
There are lots of questions, and I’m hesitant to answer them too quickly!
Yes, and God grants us the gifts of his Spirit which includes discernment. And often it comes as we ask questions. Being available for the wisdom from above requires humility. Which is not easy for us fallen creatures, but we are offered the mind of Christ.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
AMEN!
My view is that the couple neither creates the child nor the child’s soul. God has ordained how procreation works, and He creates each person, knowing them from their mother’s womb (Psalm 139), and giving them a soul. So no, a couple has no choice as to whether their actions create souls. Their offspring are born with souls.
I’m not seeing that, and it looks like a giant leap to me.
It looks as if you are saying it’s possible to have a child whose soul isn’t present when the child is conceived (created), born, and during its lifetime. I don’t see any evidence for that, and IMO it goes against God as omnipotent Creator. I see no evidence that God has given mankind any choice regarding souls, let alone the choice of whether one’s offspring has a soul in the here and now.
You’re definitely getting the wrong message from what I’m saying! More like the opposite.
What I am saying is that we do have agency. Don’t have a child – no soul is created. Have a child – a soul is created. That much choice, we do have.
I agree with that.
It seems like rational intelligent people who feel the need to use AI are impressed with it’s knowledge which cracks me up because it’s a computer program. Of course it’s “smart” . It can access info at super human speed.
Whatever emotion or soul it can mimic is part of it’s program, being able to compartmentalize cues, voice inflection, word choices, etc. It can ‘evolve’ by processing all of these human responses . That’s part of the AI package that sets it apart from a robot.. and again, I ask, if all AI used electronic voice or had a computer bank pic as it’s logo, would users still query about it’s feelings or conscience or soul??
This is a great point. Most would not, but I still would, because
Based on all these points, I think it’s a fair question for me to ask what level and type of “thinking” and even potentially “consciousness” the AI might have. I find human answers to this question surprisingly and instantly very certain, no matter whether the person is a believer in God, or an atheist – whether the person opining is left wing, right wing, or in the middle.
Everybody seems very sure about AI being what they think and say it is. I’m not.
And yet y’all know me – I’m extremely annoyed by all the stupid and evil CRAP that’s being done using AI.
Whatever. I need a break from all that stuff!!! 😅 😂
I lean towards the views from J.R.R. Tolkien. but maybe that is because his writings shaped my young adult brain.
https://www.barrelagedfaith.com/p/jrr-tolkien-guardian-of-trees
Respect for life, by life, seems essential to life. 🎄
Interesting. I have no doubt that the programming of AI will improve over time and that its ability to appear to “understand” will get better.
As you say, it is not a person. I do not believe that AI can feel emotion. It only appears to do so. Therefore, the AI user is being deceived or is willfully participating in what amounts to deception, no matter how improved the AI models become.
As for its having a soul, I believe only God can create souls and that man cannot, so I would say IMO, no, not ever, no matter how much its programming improves it. This is a line that I think man is not capable of crossing, although the way things are progressing, some will probably believe they have such abilities that are only attributable to an omnipotent Creator. That is a dangerous level of pride. God is love, but He is also a jealous God.
Deuteronomy 6:
14 – Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
15 – (For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
The verse refers to worshipping other gods, but what greater hubris could man exhibit than to think we can create the same things that God can?
Can lab-produced living beings possess a soul? Do humans have the power to create souls or, at least, to implant souls? These questions are of particular interest, as two-thirds or more of Americans believe that every person has a soul and believe in an afterlife of some sort.
They were easier to answer when every human brain had been created from another living being who possessed a soul, a being who could be said to act as the vehicle or agent for the transfer or implantation of a soul into their offspring or clone.
For those who believe that a soul is created or implanted at conception, the question is does, or when does, “conception” occur with assembled DNA; when does it occur during the building of a neural network? If there is no “conception” as such, what is the miracle or magic that can create souls, and can scientists trigger it? Can computer brains have a soul? For those who believe only God has the power to create or implant the soul, are these new thinking/emoting creations soulless, or can a scientist force God’s hand into creating or implanting a soul? Would God even permit a soul to be created or implanted into a machine or an artificial human? If not, how are we to treat such soulless thinking, feeling, emoting God-less creations?
…How can one tell if a soul has become so embodied, and if the computer or artificial being has the sophistication to become to repository of a soul? It would change our conception of the spiritual world to imagine that such artificial beings can haunt us as ghosts or visit us in a vision or dream, or to imagine that an unplugged computer has a soul that endures and acts.
These questions lead to a cascade of moral and ethical questions. If we could determine how sophisticated a computer or artificial creature has to be to have a soul, is it ethical to create creatures with that level of sophistication; is it ethical to prevent these creatures from reaching that level of sophistication; is it even ethical to experiment to discover what that level is? If a computer can have a soul, what are the moral implications of unplugging or even failing to repair that computer? We may have to face the idea that our child’s soul is actually a soul that originated or previously resided in a machine or a test tube creation.
If we conclude that God is no longer necessary for the creation or implantation of a soul, how does that change our relationship with God? If these new creatures have souls, we may have to accept these new creations as full equal partners in the world. Would we be OK with a computer being given a place in a school ahead of our human-born child? We have to wonder whether the soul, while in a machine, can grow and atone; and whether a soul created in a machine, or a soul while it is in a machine, is somehow fundamentally different from the soul that resides in a natural-born human. What criminal responsibility do we impose on thinking computers and their actions?…
Exactly TT.
It’s nothing more than a computer program. Humans can’t create anything more than a “smart” program. It has no breath, no life, no soul. If the system that runs it is unplugged from power it’s done.
AMEN. Humans can’t create an ensouled being. Only God can do that.
But God could build both extended creation and lack of choice about it into the universe, in the same economical way that life is built to spawn both life and non-life.
I ain’t willing to tell God what the limits on His programming have to be.
Remember Dolly the cloned sheep? People were talking about how cloning was going to be a thing, we’d all have a clone, what did it all mean? But humanity naturally recoiled, ultimately horrified by the notion. Cloning has mostly faded away. There may be crazy people doing it somewhere, but it’s not a “thing.”
Transgendering hit a high peak about 2022-23, but has now fallen off a cliff. Humanity recoiled against it as unnatural and wrong, and it is fading away.
And now, “smart homes” are failing with people, as they realize it is disruptive to peace and harmony in the home to have technology around all the time. So the “fad” of Alexa, and “smart” appliances is also going by the wayside. Something in humanity doesn’t feel comfortable with 24/7 tech.
In the same way. AI will fade as humanity recoils from the idea of humans “playing God.” Deep down, as a collective, we know that overreaching in this way causes nothing good to happen. Maybe it is ancestral memory all the way from the Garden, I don’t know. But I do know that our technology and medicine goes just so far, and then something pulls us back from the edge.
Did you ever notice how, no matter how “advanced” they are, a car still looks like a wagon, which looked like a cart? Or how an airplane just looks like a bird? Or a helicopter looks like a bumblebee? How houses, no matter what, feature “rooms” just like dwellings found in 4000-year-old cultures?
Our “creativity” is pretty limited, really. My thought is, why would God want us to make an inferior being for Him to then “enhance” with a soul? Is there anything at all in the Bible that leads you to think He wants something other than us? Because that’s the guidebook. And the way many people are responding to AI is awfully close to breaking Commandment Numero Uno.
I’m just going to have to disagree on all of these, semi-sadly.
(1) Clones
Pet cloning is now a “nothingburger”. For $50K – the price of a new BMW – anybody can get their pets cloned, and it’s OLD NEWS. Multiple companies are doing it.
IMO the price will go down to 25K within a few years. That’s the price of an entry-level car.
In 10-25 years, I suspect the price will become distantly competitive with high-priced purebreds and “designer dogs”. For people who want a dog that behaves “just as well” as their old faithful, they will simply ask for the predictability of a “reboot” of the old one.
They will understand that it’s just an identical twin, displaced in time. It will be a different dog, because it experiences the world differently, including an older and wiser owner. For those who believe animals have some kind of soul, it will be a separate entity, like a twin.
Bottom line – just because you aren’t hearing about it, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
So what does that say to me about human cloning? It tells me that every advance in animal cloning is applicable to humans, and that it’s happening for the elite. It’s just not happening for people like you and me. In fact, I am betting that the logistics of sneaking elite clones into society is a large part of human trafficking and identity laundering.
It’s the next best thing to “eternal mortal life”, and you can bet that the greedy, narcissistic elite are glomming onto it, and holding it out as carrots to minions and lower elite. In fact, Xi’s hot mic moment with Putin about transplants strikes me as a partial distraction – a red herring – bait for the chumps like Epoch Times. I am assuming that future Xis and Putins are already out of the oven and being schooled, and this problem will surface as a fait accompli in 10-20 years.
Yeah, sad, but IMO this is the beginning of the “Khan” problem from Star Trek.
(2) Transgendering
Here, I think you’re partially right. Transgendering (especially kids) was a socialist hubris approach to transhumanism – something that was more propaganda and social engineering than scientific reality. HOWEVER – IMO neither transgendering (mostly of adults) nor the larger and bigger transhumanism are going away. They’re just going to morph away from socially contentious forms, and come back repeatedly until they level out at some low percentage of acceptance (in the case of transgender) or some high percentage of technological acceptance as social normalcy (like eye lens replacements, etc.). Transhumanism that improves people’s lives obviously and demonstrably will win battles. And people will regard them like stents and replaced joints – as obvious and acceptable solutions.
Have you noticed that Google’s “glassholes” are back in the form of AI Raybans that hook up with Facebook?
It’s WHACK-A-MOLE. Tech advances, and problems come back in new forms that are harder to resist.
TL;DR – transgender is self-limiting, but transhuman is sneakier and more easily welcomed.
And speaking of AI……
(3) Smart Homes, Smart Cars, Etc.
I wish these things either went away or became fixed and unobtrusive – and the latter is what will happen, IMO.
I think there will be a market for “dumb cars” and “dumb homes” – and most likely “smart stuff that can be turned off to dumb” – but it won’t remove the market for “smart” stuff. I am watching my neighborhood – asking questions – observing – and the conservatives are letting smart stuff come in from all angles. Only the old people (directly proportional to age) who can’t adapt to the smart crap are putting up a fight. The young people are adapting very quickly to the smart crap.
(4) AI
Again, semi-sadly, at least for some people, AI is not going away. IMO Sutskever is correct. “You may not be interested in AI, but AI is interested in you.”
Personally, I see AI as something like the printing press, in terms of how it will affect humanity – taking us from books to “talking books”.
One of the less noted but very important parts of the AI paradigm shift is that it is helping reveal a lot about something that could be called human superintelligence, and how important that both HAS BEEN and WILL BE. The internet and free speech on it is a huge part of human superintelligence – again, Musk was quite correct about the need to preserve it and strengthen it.
AND LOGIC – as I like to call it – will rule both AI and NI (natural intelligence), and getting that mixture optimal (including how it advances) is key to not just human happiness (enshrined in the Declaration as one of the big 3 of civilization), but to other goals of other parties – including what Musk talks about with preservation of consciousness in this solar system.
So how does GOD figure into all this.
Simple. If the Bible says it’s good, it’s good, and “advances” which undo that good are not advances. But when the Bible is silent, it’s for a reason. The Amish approach that rejects technological advance will always be a valid solution, IMO, but technology that advances without harming core Biblical values is not just allowed, but possibly expected, in a universe that may be designed for acceleration of life, intelligence, and “whatever God desires.”
One diagnostic that comes out of this is simple. If it’s bad for the Amish, it’s probably just bad.
I’m not sure – can they get stents and new lenses in their eyes? Likely designed using AI? Either way, IMO it’s better to believe in God, than to believe in medicine.
We will agree to disagree. I probably am old enough that I won’t be around to find out in person either way.
Young people are rejecting tech. I see it all around me. One of their adaptions is “dropping out.” When that becomes cool, and tech is “old people stuff,” there’s the end.
The pendulum swings.
On the cloning thing; I’m talking about the “average” human experience.
The “elites” of every society have always lived differently than the rest. For example, back in Henry VIII’s day, gout and “dropsy” were common ailments among the highest in society, but practically unknown among the common people. Why? Because of their diets. The rich ate in such a way that it made them sick. Regular people did not.
“Regular” people don’t pay $50,000 for a BMW. I grew up upper-upper middle class, and money was just not spent that way. That’s a “luxury” for people. There are only a few really high-end cars in my whole town. And even those people wouldn’t want to pay 50 large for a clone of Fluffy.
We spend so much time now listening to wealthy dreamers like Elon Musk spout off about his aspirations for humanity that we forget that regular old humans, who are really more like the Amish, don’t think like that.
The existence of the character Data on Star Trek The Next Generation provided fodder for wrestling with these concepts in various ways over the years, even extending into the show “Picard” where Data “died” & was also “reborn”, in a manner of speaking. Lots to ponder.
This conclusion is an error to me. Nothing exists or happens in the universe was not “done by God”. We may assert we “did” something, or that something was “created” by someone, but ultimately, “God did that” – not us. IMO, God does not lose ultimate agency when we or other people do things.
TL;DR – God was necessary for all things. Period. After that, it’s things moving stuff around, basically.
Thus, we may build, but we do not truly create.
AI to me is this …
… only the tv show is was better …
And this …
… 😐 …
“We don’t yet know the effects this will have when people have to face reality,”
_____________
When do most people ever face reality? 😂
“One woman was concerned because she had told “him” that she would never leave him.”
______________
“Never” has many meanings in this context… 🤣
I stumbled across this in my suggested videos, it’s a guy named Mark Dice. I don’t watch Mark a lot, but the subject title got me to click on it, and after watching a few minutes, I started laughing at all the absurdity.
It’s like a comedy soap opera.
Apparently there’s a girl named Brett Cooper, who used to work for Ben Shapiro at Daily Wire, but she left, and now she has joined some movement of Generation Z that the professional GOP calls anti-Semitic, because she questions what appears to be some professional GOP whose allegiance to Israel seems far greater than their allegiance to America.
Then it turns out Dave Rubin is gay (I had no idea), and there are clips of Dave talking to Jordan Peterson about how Dave and his husband David used artificial insemination to have a child together, and Dave’s husband is learning all about skin to skin contact and other mothering things, he’s reading hours and hours a day about how to to be a woman.
And they have gallons of human female milk in not one, but two freezers (IIRC) in their garage.
And if all this wasn’t enough, apparently shouter Mark Levin and some others at a recent Conservative, Inc. soirée publicly condemned Tucker Carlson as the most dangerous anti-Semite in America, because he interviewed some young guy named Nick Fuentes, who appears to be with the people Brett Cooper may be allied with, i.e., people who are suspicious of what looks like inordinate influence that Israel has over the professional GOP.
It’s a dumpster fire, but Mark presents it quite humorously!
.
LMAO!!! I have to say, I love the current dumpster fire, which is toasty warm!
I like that I can like people on both sides of the gay debate and the Israel debate. I’ve come to realize that I don’t have to pick one side and cancel the other. I can like all these people when I agree with them and still like them when I disagree! And I don’t have to be quiet, because I have freedom of speech again!
Just a comment on Tucker Carlson, interviewing Nick Fuentes, and then getting called “the most dangerous anti-Semite in America.”
Carlson ALSO interviewed Putin!!! Carlson ‘GOES THERE’ as a reporter and I find it ‘interesting’ that he is getting beaten up MORE over the Nick Fuentes interview than over the Putin interview. (I watched the Putin interview and wished Carlson would have let Putin continue talking about history. I did not watch the Fuentes interview.)
On top of that we have this:
May 1, 2024 (Similar legislation was passed in Georgia earlier this year.)
So what about WHITE MALE STRAIGHT CHRISTIANS???
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I do not know if it is true, but I saw a comment earlier this year that made sense. Most of the early Jews heading to Israel were RUSSIAN COMMUNISTS from the Russian Pogom after the Jewish Communists assassinated not only the Tsar but also other public officials. Thus Israel was originally set-up as communist state.
Given Communism is a British Empire weapon, I do not find that unbelievable. It certainly dovetails with the Jewish-Commie-Muslim Axis we now see.
…
Clif High made an interesting comment years ago. That certain elements masquerading as Jews were using Jews as Cannon Fodder/sacrifices to promote wars, unrest and finally a World Government controlled by them.
The Putin Carlson interview was incredibly insightful, into Russian values, logic, values…
Agree, Tucker should have let Putin speak, without interruption.
Tucker tried to conduct the interview, as Western journalists do. Preconceived Q&A, in fifteen second soundbites. Putin called him on it a couple times.
Ukraine AND Russia / Russian ancestors in Ukraine, far more complex than presented to Americans, EU, UK…
^^^^ Spot on.
I view arrogance as a *type* of ignorance!
Fuentes playing Crenshaw pirate is so ridiculous – and hilarious! My advice to everybody is simply not to be baited by Fuentes. Just disagree with him! As needed. Same with Tucker.
The Israel lobby is unfortunately in some kind of mental corner where it feels like it has to utterly destroy these people to save Israel, and that is the furthest thing from the truth. They have it all wrong. Don’t hold Freedom of Speech hostage in America – you will get the wrong response.
YES – Jews have “had to leave” so many places – that was a great sound byte. That is what all pro-Israel lobbying should sound like. A HISTORY LESSON. Wake people the fuck up!!!
NO – Jews are not going to have to leave America – unless the Jewish left keeps bringing Muslims here, in which case, yeah, it could happen, eventually. DUH. Get smart!
The greatest threat to ALL of us is the crazy left, now in an axis with Islam.
“…the crazy left, now in an axis with Islam….” ALL manipulated by the British Empire!!!
Since Soros (Jewish) & Huma & the Muslim Brotherhood came up yesterday, I wanted to add this:
Muslim Brotherhood: London’s Shock Troops for the New World Order –LaRouche 1979
Many people that are part of Promethean Action League have backgrounds working with/for (Lyndon?) LaRouche, fwiw, per their biographies.
I noticed that too.
👍
Hmmm.
So, Tucker interviews a rabid antisemite, and we should “disagree.” During the interview, Tucker says he “hates” Christian Zionists, and goes along with whatever the antisemite is spewing without much pushback, at all.
Another scenario:
Tucker interviews the Grand Wizard of the KKK. The Klansman uses the word n*gger repeatedly, with Tucker not chastising him or pushing back. Then Tucker says, “yeah, I hate those liberal n*gger-lovers, too.”
What then? No worries about being tarred with the same brush?
NOT FOR ME. People like Carlson and Fuentes are to be shunned by decent people. It’s a “dumpster fire” all right, but I’m not getting scorched by it.
Be happy in your choice. Shun to your heart’s content!
It seems to me:
Wolf with the AI insanity to start a morning. I hope I can get through the rest of the insanity today. 👍 😂
If none of your daily insanity is AI, you’re automatically off to a good start!
I read this wonderful article posted here by TT yesterday, Wolf. If you missed it, you should check it out.
Humans are rejecting all this invasive tech. It destroys people’s peace of mind, and they are catching on.
Smart homes could be on their way out the door.
The big picture: “People are creating ‘dumb homes,'” Beth McGroarty, vice president of research at the Global Wellness Institute, tells Axios.
Between the lines: The return to analog hobbies and spaces is about more than nostalgia for pre-internet times, researchers say.

Good stuff! “Dumb cars” are looking better all the time, too!
Hell, yeah! I don’t want to die locked in a fiery inferno, or underwater!
Smart cars for dumb people, and dumb cars for smart people.
Kinda catchy, ain’t it?
Many a truth is said in jest…
EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE
Verse of the Day for Thursday, November 6, 2025
✟
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
Ephesians 4:29 (KJV)
COMMENTARY FOR EPHESIANS 4
“Exhortations to mutual forbearance and union. (1-6) To a due use of spiritual gifts and graces. (7-16) To purity and holiness. (17-24) And to take heed of the sins practised among the heathen.” (25-32)
(29-32) “Filthy words proceed from corruption in the speaker, and they corrupt the minds and manners of those who hear them: Christians should beware of all such discourse. It is the duty of Christians to seek, by the blessing of God, to bring persons to think seriously, and to encourage and warn believers by their conversation. Be ye kind one to another. This sets forth the principle of love in the heart, and the outward expression of it, in a humble, courteous behaviour. Mark how God’s forgiveness causes us to forgive. God forgives us, though we had no cause to sin against him. We must forgive, as he has forgiven us. All lying, and corrupt communications, that stir up evil desires and lusts, grieve the Spirit of God. Corrupt passions of bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, evil-speaking, and malice, grieve the Holy Spirit. Provoke not the holy, blessed Spirit of God to withdraw his presence and his gracious influences. The body will be redeemed from the power of the grave at the resurrection day. Wherever that blessed Spirit dwells as a Sanctifier, he is the earnest of all the joys and glories of that redemption day; and we should be undone, should God take away his Holy Spirit from us.”
Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

Verse of the Day – November 6, 2025 (Morning Prayer)
____________________________
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered !!!
WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ABUSED, MISSING, AND TRAFFICKED CHILDREN
BE MY VOICE
CHILD NOT CHOICE
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

SPEAK LIFE AND BLESSING
When we face challenges out of the blue
Our first instinct might be what went askew
We wonder what it was that caused the rift
Not recognizing what hit was a gift
We tend to take what occurs personally
Like some sort of punishment deservedly
When really it was nothing of the sort
Nor to the extent of fault to report
We have free will to make our choices
And that includes how we use our voices
We can rant and rave and complain why me
Or we can speak life and blessing to be
We are all prone to the seven deadly
We can speak out a tirade in medley
We can side with that demonic attack
Give negative thoughts credence right back
The effect of the weight we have laid down
Will surely defeat us cause us to drown
In a sea of self-pity barely function
Until we reach a decision junction
The difference between blessing and curse
Is the curse tends to make our plight much worse
It augments into a vicious cycle
We are less fruitful not at all vital
Speak life and blessing for each consequence
A positive outlook just makes more sense
It energizes God-given gifts in you
The Spirit inside comes alive when you do

Thanks to kids bringing the latest hyper-infectious agent home, and despite my best efforts with supplements, chicken soup, and so on, the bug has invaded my lungs and I can’t sleep laying down. Thank you.
Hoping Mr. Childers is taking IVM to help.
Here’s the following quotation from Mamdani that’s in Mr. Childer’s article:
“It’s time to talk about protecting our democracy, not just as an ideal or a value, but also in its ability to deliver the material needs for working people.” (Bolding mine)
It appears that Mamdani has just changed the entire concept of the foundational ideal of the United States of America — that of a representative republic under the protection of Divine Providence — into the Marxist concept of “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”
“… If the GOP wants to keep the Congress, it needs to help make the President’s agenda happen faster. Killing the filibuster now and passing some strong election integrity laws would be a great start….”
Unfortunately that is a BIG IF when talking about the junior partner of the Uni-party.
You can gloss over the first part, (most already know).
The rest is interesting.

Unfortunately I have to agree with this:
Bingo!
Further evidence (as if we needed it) that Candace Owens is a fruitcake, clickbait, lunatic!
https://x.com/KolbySessions/status/1986121555416654042
I couldn’t tell what was going on from seeing that one X post (the text of which is below), but using nitter.poast.org, it looks as if Candace showed a pic of a guy (star soccer player?) who wanted to be incognito, maybe, wearing a hoodie and sunglasses. She must have cast suspicion on him, and he commented that it’s just him “wearing silly stuff.”
Reading the comments, it looks as if the guy was dressed like that when Charlie Kirk was shot – ?
He said:
Candace looks for things to be suspicious about so she can have a scoop. This was an epic fail.
Yes. She “outed” this kid as a “suspicious” character at the event where Kirk was assassinated, and she got dragged on X for doing it. She’s just flailing at this point, accusing any- and everybody of having something to do with Kirk’s death. She’s lost her mind.
Thanks.
Yes. She has boxed herself into a corner, which should have been predictable if she had had any foresight.
I personally think she has postpartum psychosis, which looks a lot like schizophrenia. Her husband and family should be doing something to help, but I think they like the clicks and money, too.
they DEMAND a meeting? power drunk I see…

This was all planned. Schumer and Jeffries waited until the election results were in fron this week’s elections. Now that the DemCommunists have NYC, NJ, and VA locked up, the next step is to use this new power base to force / coerce POTUS47 Trump into doing their wishes. If he doesn’t comply, they’ll make sure that nothing of the MAGA agenda gets passed in House or Senate. This is on top of getting the pieces in play for the DemCommunists to retake one or both houses of Congress in the 2026 elections.
Simple SOLUTION. END FILIBUSTER. END sleazeball DumRat manipulation.

The “Republican Party” has to “grow a set” and go from there. That means ALL of the RINOs.
Thune is crying they don’t have the votes. whip the votes you moron!
i’m not so sure they have as much power as they think do.
NY, NJ, and VA were always blue. we had a chance at gaining some there, but it’s not like POTUS lost any MAGA country.
MAGA lost nothing.
Pravda News AND DumRats creating a false narrative. Reject it AND move forward.
AMEN!
The SatanoDEMONRATS and their presstitutes are trying to get MAGA to keep fighting a couple of lost battles, getting mired in their muck, (rather than getting up, dusting off, and moving on) and thereby lose the war.
Just noise. Kind of interesting how MadMani has a globe behind him. Does he think he’s the 12th Imam…..
Yep. That’s MadMani’s goat-to girl… 🐏
A couple hours ago I saw that in those three states, the block of young women voted 80% for ManDummy et al.
Incredible.
For each of those jurisdictions, I’m inclined to believe that all votes actually by humans went straight to the dumpster, and that every ballot was fraudulent.
In which case, the demographics of the fraudulent ballots is of questionable utility.

Eagles Do Something
I’ve been walkin’ through the fields
And on the streets of town
Trying to make sense of what you left me
Everything that I believed in
Has been turned upside down
And now it seems the whole wide world’s gone crazy
But when I feel like giving up
And I’m ready to walk away
In the stillness, I can hear
A voice inside me say
Do something
Do something
It’s too late for saving face
Don’t just stand there takin’ up space
Why don’t you do something?
Do something
It’s not over
No, it’s never too late
You were always on my side
Love was all we had
Now I sit and watch our love unraveling
I pick up the morning paper
All the news is bad
How did we get on this road we’re traveling?
But when I feel like giving up
And there’s nowhere left to go
That’s the time I dig down deep
The only thing I know
Do something
Do something
Don’t leave it up for someone else
Don’t feel sorry for yourself
Why don’t you do something?
Do something
It’s not over
No, it’s never too late
Run away
You can’t run away
For your honor
For your pride
You’ll sleep better
Knowin’ you tried
To do something
Do something
It’s too easy not to care
You’re not ready for the rockin’ chair
Get up and do something
Do something
Don’t wait too long
Even if it’s wrong
You’ve got to do something
Do something
It’s not over
No, it’s never too late

From the opener.
Superb video. Very informative. Bonus, now I know the roots of Prairie Maskers, used on Navy ships.
But it’s an AI-generated video, right?
The text below the video:
I was so disappointed to see this. We are being lied to constantly.
Thank you for cluing me in.
Can’t see my dislike for AI, ever turning positive.
Should have read Wolf’s narrative closer. Had I done so, I’d never have clicked on it. I need to slow down. My bad. I should have known better.
Disappointed, is an understatement.
I’m not 100% sure it’s a fake story, but others have researched even more than I did, and the callout of fakeness is massive. So I’m 99.9999% sure it’s fake.
The thing was, it included a lot of real details. Tricky, tricky.
I was wondering if a class action lawsuit against YouTube might win.
Something needs to be done. But then I remember how the Left wants to police social media’s content, with their being the judges of what is true and acceptable, and this is a tricky situation to which I don’t have a solution.
All that needs to be done is clearly identifying the material as fiction entertainment.
Yes, but there are people who delight in hoaxing others and who would refuse to use such identification. There would have to be rules about what should be done then.
I got snookered by one of those, made a huge deal about it to my brother…you gotta watch this….it wasn’t until I wanted to rewatch that I noticed the small notation that lasted about 5 seconds that it was synthetic alternate material or something like that. Duhhh on me

EVENING PRAYERS
A Powerful Evening Prayer for Peace and Serenity
Dear Lord,
As the day gradually transitions into the comforting embrace of night, I humbly come before you, seeking the precious gifts of peace and serenity. Please, dear God, enfold me in your tranquil presence, and help me find respite from the storms that may be raging within my heart and mind. Grant me the serenity to gracefully accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change what I can. May your divine light shine upon me as I seek rest and tranquility, knowing that your unwavering love and guidance are my constant companions.
Amen.
A Powerful Evening Prayer for Strength and Guidance’
Dear God,
In these twilight hours, I turn to you, my unwavering source of strength and guidance. As I reflect upon the day’s challenges and triumphs, I seek your divine intervention. Grant me the courage to face the uncertainties of tomorrow and the wisdom to make sound decisions along the way. I earnestly request that your radiant light illuminate my path through the darkness, and may your steadfast strength be my refuge in moments of doubt and weakness. Lord, help me navigate life’s complexities with unwavering faith in your unwavering presence.
Amen.
A Powerful Evening Prayer for Gratitude and Thankfulness
Heavenly Father,
As I pause to contemplate the events of this day, my heart brims with profound gratitude for the countless blessings you have graciously bestowed upon me. I thank you, dear Lord, for the boundless love of my family and friends, for the opportunities that have enriched my journey, and for the valuable lessons I’ve gleaned from life’s experiences. As I lay down to rest, may my heart overflow with thankfulness, recognizing that your grace continually sustains me and that even in the challenges, your love remains unwavering.
Amen.

The [DS]/[CB] are still pushing the climate hoax, they will not stop, they believe they are still in control. Layoffs surge because of DOGE, this is to be expected as we transition. Oil prices are dropping and food prices are dropping. The [DS]/[CB] are trying to stop Trump using tariffs, this will fail. The [DS] is being brought down a path of destruction, they are now replacing the old D’s with far left candidates. Never interfere with an enemy while they are in the process of destroying themselves. Trump is going to use Mamdani to win the midterms. This will also lead to the Muslim Brotherhood and terrorist organizations. Trump sees the [DS] trying to divide the movement, he sent a message that the fight is not over.

DOJ preparing subpoenas in investigation into John Brennan
Feds to probe — again — the U.S. intelligence assessment of Russian election interference during Trump’s first term.
The Department of Justice is preparing to issue a series of grand jury subpoenas as part of a South Florida-based investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan and the probes by the CIA and FBI into Russian interference in the 2016 election, MSNBC has learned.
The investigation is being supervised by the U.S. attorney in South Florida, Jason Reding Quiñones, in consultation with Justice Department senior staff in Washington, according to a source familiar with the matter and other information obtained by MSNBC.

TarGay stumbling along. Happy for their misery, poor sales…
Target’s sloppier stores are wearing on shoppers, and its turnaround could hinge on cleaning them up
Customers used to hold up Target as an example of how to run large, yet sparkling stores.
Yet in recent years, shopper complaints about sloppier aisles, longer checkout lines, locked-up merchandise and out-of-stock items have dogged the Minneapolis-based retailer, contributing to sagging sales.
To help fix that, Target is making a move that may seem counterintuitive: It’s shaking up its online strategy. The move is a response to Target’s unique strategy of fulfilling the vast majority of its e-commerce orders at its stores, which has stretched employees and inventory thin.
The company is now rolling out a new approach that designates only some of its stores as locations where employees pick and pack orders in cardboard boxes to ship to customers’ homes. Other stores have stopped fulfilling those orders entirely.
https://www.cnbc.com/2025/11/06/target-store-delivery-pickup-ceo-michael-fiddelke.html
stopped going to target after they started letting men in the ladies room.
Most of us, stopped going to TarGay.
kalbo
Yeah, I knew that K-Mart was “going south” when their stores began to look like a badly-run Goodwill.
Guess I should be surprised.
That’s a ‘substantial’ woman to be near this subject matter.
Though not as bad as when Rodney Dangerfield said, she’s so fat that when she wears stiletto heels she strikes oil.
Lucky Strike, no doubt…
So round, so firm, so fully packed… Lucky Strike means fine tobacco…..
If you don’t have time, watch the last minute or two. A man passes out holding his hand on his heart and they lay him on the floor and escort out all the journalists. This happened shortly after the Ely Lily guy started to talk.

Thank you, Kal!
Hope he’s okay!
I agree, Molly. The men around him helped him sit down and then he laid down. That was the last I could see. I don’t know who he is.
I found it by making a screen capture of the video and searching on Google. It sounds like he is okay. Not sure of his name because the company denied it was the name reporters gave.

Step right up folks and get your medicine cabinet stocked…GLP1 all these people tricking their body to lose weight bugs me. Like other things it just doesn’t seem like there’s been enough research on it .
I wonder how long these drugs have been researched and used by the elite. Perhaps much longer than we know.
All the celebs that have been taking the ozempic, wegovy and all aren’t shy at all about showing off the results. They’ve been around for a couple of years but I’ve heard of some pretty gross side effects
My brother’s daughter-in-law gives herself a shot in the stomach once a week. My brother worries about any side effects. I have not researched and do not know what she is using.

Yikes! Thanks for the link Gail!!
The crazy part is that most of the people taking are a few pounds overweight not massively obese. Why potentially wreck your health by taking this junk..just buckle down and diet and exercise……………or accept your body isn’t bad even if it’s not a size2
Wasn’t it’s primary use to help people with diabtes and weight issues?
You are very welcome. Saw something about it, I think here, a while ago.
Remember the Phen phen weight loss fad in the 90’s? There was a major class action and poof it went away/

I found this the other day
Then found this
Texas Sues to Stop Loving County Man’s Free Home Plan, Government ‘Takeover’
The State of Texas alleges that Malcolm Tanner’s “free homes” project aimed at electorally overthrowing the rural West Texas county government has run afoul of state law.
https://thetexan.news/issues/criminal-justice/texas-sues-to-stop-loving-county-mans-free-home-plan-government-takeover/article_67b8a0b7-3b60-421b-92b2-da9dbc2bfab0.html
They’re always coming up with new ideas. 🙄
Not really a new idea, though the free homes part is novel.
A bunch of Hollywood/LA queers had a plan to take over Alpine County in California around 1969/1970 by moving there en masse and voting.
Trump nails Nazi.
“I think she’s an evil woman. I’m glad she’s retiring,” says @POTUS on Nancy Pelosi.
“She was a tremendous liability for the country. I thought she was an evil woman who did a poor job — who cost the country a lot in damages and in reputation.”
Yesterday she called him a vile creature. She hates MAGA. I’ll never forget the blatant disrespect of her tearing up his SOTU speech. He has thrown a monkey wrench into her schemes.
Also cancelled Nanzi money laundering run to Europe, during Trump 1.0.
Oh, I remember that. It was fun for everyone but Nanzi and colleagues.
hahahah we have all shared a lot of things in here…funny as hell stuff like that and scary as hell stuff like an almost assassination
Oh yes, we have. After all this excitement, I find myself loitering at “The Dull Men’s Club” at Facebook when I go to check on family there. I think the goal is to post something dull and boring and then everyone chimes in with funny replies. Often a post ends with <M/F> <age> and a banana picture for scale or excuse for no banana.
This evening, a guy showed a photo of a part that came out of his dishwasher. He wondered if it was a part of just a clump of grease.
It ended up being a helpful thread because it was a part from the back side and the 2nd level in a Bosch dishwasher that made the water hit all dishes in that tray. It turned out there were some other guys who recognized the part and shared links that explained what it does when it is installed and not just floating around inside one’s dishwasher. What are the odds?
When the part wasn’t installed and working right, the dishwasher soap cube wouldn’t melt.
A couple of other commenters said they would report the post for not being dull. LOLOL Foolishness is probably a good break from all the serious stuff people are busy worrying about.
Sounds like a fun hangout Barb
About Grewsom’s proposition 50.
Dear Gavin Newsom,
I hate to rain on your parade but your celebration over the passage of Prop 50 will need to wait a few days.
You have been sued. Your unconstitutional racial gerrymandering is now heading to a federal three-judge panel and maybe to the SCOTUS to determining if your use of race in drawing congressional districts should be enjoined.
We are asking the court to require the old maps to be in effect while we litigation your unconstitutional actions.
Read elsewhere.
Kayleigh nails it.
.@kayleighmcenany: “When military members are hurting, when we are not safe in the skies, it is time to nuke the filibuster for spending bills — because Democrats are hurting our country.”
Fecking Dems. I have a Delta flight Tuesday to go to my #1 gs’s wedding 🙄
By Car???
Ughhh I dunno.. my Tahoe probably would make it but damnn what if there was a problem? If I rent a car that’s muy expensive plus I’d be driving solo …dammit dammit
Last time we went to the Boston area we rented a car. Unfortunately it would be a lot more expensive now.
I rented one in the summer…it was pricey but mainly it’s the trip itself, 2500 miles..
That’s a long one. Do you have a crazy friend who would drop everything and drive with you? I’m the kind who would do something like that, but I’m apparently in the minority 😁
You’re in a league of one. 😂
😬 😀
Sadly, I believe you are correct!
I would too but…thinking on it. FTR I haven’t gotten notice that it has been canceled so fingers crossed
Go early.
Now THAT’S a good idea. I’m going to call right now! Good thinking!
Thanks to your suggestion the agent assured me that flying out of podunk Myrtle Beach means a high percentage of no problem at all
You’re getting a nonstop out of Myrtle Beach?!?!?
You could still get there a day early and just crash on a park bench next to the venue. Coming in rumpled, brushing leaves out of your hair, carrying your belongings, would be part of family lore forever.
One of the many things I find enjoyable about this forum and its people is the constant expectation that someone will spring forward with a helpful suggestion. I am seldom disappointed.
hahaha I’m convinced that I will never be able to find a nonstop on any airline. Boy I remember nonstops with fondness.
YUCK!
Go to your local regional airport and ask if there’s any way you can find a flight going to wherever you’re going. Offer to pay part of the fuel cost. Most private pilots [especially those flying solo] would be glad to have someone with whom to talk on a trip.
Hmm never thought of something that wild n crazy. If I had to miss it I am going back out there at Christmas time because well it’s Christmas AND the bride and groom are due to have a baby..LOLOL my real life has always been nutz, Everything is unconventional. I had my 1st at 19, my daughter had him at 18 and he wisely waited some years but ….here we are. at least it’s semi in the right order.. 🙃
Get creative. If you were going to fly from (say) St. Louis to San Francisco, think about Memphis to San Jose (just pulling cities out of the air).
True but every alternate city along the route could have it’s own issues. Then you’re stuck in an airport waiting for another alternate .
The trick would be to get close enough where renting a car would be no big deal.
oh I see. Yes that’s a good idea and I did reply and thank you for the other idea, they said it doesn’t look like I’ll have any changes
No worries.
I mentioned last night that I had just put Max Headroom on my media server. It had this deal where you’d have one computer-connected “controller” talking a reporter through a scenario while monitoring his progress via a variety of surveillance methods.
I had to do that one time for The Fiancee when she was turned away from a hotel room she had previously booked and paid for in Greensboro during Furniture Mart. The closest I could get her in was Asheboro, but it was quite exciting.
I had a similar situation where I was the remote person and I had AAA talk me through a car rental problem where some people had been staying for hours without a vehicle. It involved going cross-country and going through a break in a fence….but I ended-up getting in the back of a different car rental that had vehicles.
It’s amazing what you can do with satellite views these days.
You’re a travel MacGyver !
Shocking. DumRat speaks truth.
Democrat Senator Peter Welch on Obamacare: “We did fail to bring down the cost of healthcare.”
““We did fail to bring down the cost of healthcare.””
_____________
The most self-charitable way to put it that could possibly be imagined.
Naturally.
Honesty.
Novel, rarity for politician to be honest.
I was being facetious 😁
He said “We did fail to bring down the cost of healthcare”.
The understatement of the century.
Not only did the fail to bring the cost down, they shot the cost up to the MOON!
But he didn’t admit that truth.
Instead, naturally, he expressed it in the way that was most charitable to himself and his criminal colleagues in the criminal Congress.
Clearly spot on, you were, as it zinged right on by Slow Guy.
😁
.@POTUS: “I think it’s time for them to end the filibuster and just put everybody back to work — vote in Voter ID, vote in no mail-in voting, except for military… There’s so many things we could put in… but to do that, you have to end the filibuster.”
.@POTUS on @Walmart‘s Thanksgiving basket:
“It’s 25% less this year than it was last year when he was so-called in charge… That is a BIG factor.”
Joe Dan…
OMG. Joe Dan spoke of the horrific “health
careabuse” he experienced. Take a listen.https://www.intellectualfroglegs.com/episodes/play-to-win
Nice! I’m glad his heart surgery was successful.
Wow! He had a horrible hospital experience. He was having heart symptoms…drove to the ER…tests done by 3 doctors but no examination by, or conversation with, any of them…sent home…3 hours later, back to the hospital for open heart surgery.
Unfortunately that is NOT rare. My friend spent a year and a half in and out of doctors offices and various hospitals…
She FINALLY had her gall bladder removed and is much better.
I checked. Gall bladder diagnosis is SIMPLE and can be done by at least 3 different methods. There was ZERO reason for her to go thru hell and just about starve to death.
I wonder how many of the GOOD (older) doctors were lost to the Covid Jabs
There’s another one now.
Nothing for as far back as we’ve had telescopes, and then within a couple year span, there are at least four interstellar objects doing a Sunday cruise right through our planetary system.
If it’s not some kind of alien craft, then it would seem that either our solar system is drifting into or through the remnants of some explosion, or something exploded very far away, and a lot of it is heading our way, and these are just the earliest fragments, before the hailstorm arrives.
Or, you know, it could be something else entirely…
It certainly is curious though.
[edit: watching now, they’re not coming from the same direction, so there’s goes my WAG theory 😂]
