On the other hand, PfizerUSA (Pfizer), wanting to enter more fully into the weight-loss drug marketplace, began acquisition talks with a company called Metsera in August 2025. Metsera is developing a GLP-1 based weight-loss drug, MET-097i, a GLP-1 drug. GLP-1 drugs (Glucagon-like Peptide 1) drugs are designed to lower blood sugar in people taking them, thus (theoretically) leading to weight loss. However, another company, Novo Nordisk, also wanted to acquire Metsera, and, at one point, was working on an “agreement in principle” with the company. I think one power we do have as the public is to simply refuse mRNA vaccines as an inherently inferior and unsafe technology, relative to “normal” vaccines.
This argument puts the vaxholes in a quandry. They are forced to engage the idea that all vaccines are not equal. Their irrational idea that all vaccines are safe, is exposed.
My current thinking is that the current flu shots (dead or attenuated virus, or recombinant antigen) are far less harmful than the COVID shots, and not of any significant benefit for most people. I find them to be an avoidable risk, but not nearly in the same category as the mRNA shots, which are frankly dangerous.
We as consumers can reject mRNA shots en masse, with nearly undeniable cause, and IMO at a minimum force the industry to provide alternatives.

From what I’ve seen, some insurance companies have a one year caveat of sorts.
Pay out after suicide, after policy is in effect for one year.

I remember that – TN is the first State to have banned the chemtrails (even ‘cloud-seeding’ is chemical – silver iodide, IIRC).
However, the geo-engineering isn’t limited to use of aviation.
When Helene was deluging NC, there was at least one radar tower (with a sizable ‘golfball’ stop) that deflected rain from the TN side to the NC side.
The signature of the event showed a ‘pie-slice’ anomaly emanating from that radar tower: it’s a form of what’s called a DEW, for Directed Energy Weapon (usually the microwave spectrum [invisible]).

I did view multiple radar snapshots, and the anons have various specialties that broaden our info. A few look into plane routes and call signs, and others follow unusual weather. There are many more ‘pet’ projects / topics.
For 9/11, there still exists on uTube a 2-hr video on DEWs – Dr. Wood, IIRC.
There are multiple photos of DEW-equipped planes, with a huge concave-up semi-sphere right under the cockpit – perhaps 20ft or so diameter.
IMO, it’s likely that the 9/11 DEW was from a low-orbit satellite, because a 100% vertical weapon (stationary / geosynchronous) was needed, and the sheer energy to do so required a greater battery.

My dad’s cousin & his wife never had kids either. They had a farm in the Traverse City area & they were also very hard workers. They befriended a younger farm family who became like family to them, even helping to care for them as they aged. As I understand it they ended up leaving their farm to these dear friends so the legacy & memories lived on in the kids that were practically like grandkids to them.
Kenny was one of 8 kids from a Very Dysfunctional family, my dad’s mom’s sister “Poor Aunt Ruth” was their mother. Ruth’s husband was a ruthless miser. Most of the kids never married nor had kids. A few stayed in the Detroit family home that was in extreme disrepair. No sewer as their dad was too cheap to pay for the hookups when the city wanted it. I think the roof was caving in & leaking in one room & the porch was rotting off. One of the son’s was retarded but incredibly sweet. One of the sisters was a Very Odd Duck, practically a street person but boy did she love the Lord! And God watched out for her too.
When Kenny reached adulthood his dad took him in the basement & had a fist fight with him, apparently it was his way to assess if his sons were ready to be men. Kenny beat his dad up so got kicked out on his own as a late teen. My dad’s parents absolutely loved Kenny & Rosie & would visit them periodically though they were more than an hour away. K & R were a source of comfort, friendship, & fellowship beyond just family ties for my grandpa in his decade of life after Grandma died. We were so happy they found special people for their farm property so it didn’t just get sold off & divided by the remaining siblings.

Patients across the political spectrum have brought Donald Trump into therapy not to discuss policy but to process obsession, rage and dread. Their distress is symptomatic, not ideological.
Clinically, the presentation aligns with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders: persistent intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation and impaired functioning. Patients describe sleepless nights, compulsive news checking and physical agitation. Many confess they can’t stop thinking about Donald Trump even when they try. They interpret his every move as a threat to democracy and to their own safety and control.
Call it “obsessive political preoccupation”—an obsessive-compulsive spectrum presentation in which a political figure becomes the focal point for intrusive thoughts, heightened arousal and compulsive monitoring.
I initially viewed this as an ideological reaction, an understandable response to a polarizing figure. But over time the symptoms took on a more clinical shape. What once looked like outrage now presents as a fixation that distorts perception and consumes attention.
One patient told me she couldn’t enjoy a family vacation because “it felt wrong to relax while Trump was still out there.” Others report panic attacks or trouble sleeping after seeing him in the news. Their anxiety has outgrown politics and become a way of being.
At the group level, the pattern functions like a culture-bound syndrome, a condition shaped by shared social triggers within a specific context. From a diagnostic standpoint, it overlaps with obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder and trauma-related syndromes. While not a formal diagnosis in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, it reflects the same symptom patterns and behavioral mechanisms used to define emerging conditions. By that measure, this presentation merits serious consideration.
The clinical importance of distinguishing this pattern lies in treatment. When it is coded simply as generalized anxiety or OCD, patients often receive reassurance or validation that briefly soothes them but ultimately reinforces the fixation. In this presentation, anxiety has fused with identity. The therapeutic work is to help patients regain psychological distance so they can separate internal fears from the political figure onto whom they have projected them. That requires limiting compulsive information seeking and disrupting the social feedback loops that sustain the preoccupation, rather than merely reducing anxiety. We make similar distinctions in conditions like body dysmorphic disorder and hoarding disorder: The meaning of the preoccupation determines how we treat it. The same principle applies here.
What makes obsessive political preoccupation distinct is its collective reinforcement: Social media, partisan news outlets and aspects of modern therapy have turned emotional validation into moral virtue. Each act of outrage delivers short-term relief that reinforces the cycle, maintaining the compulsion rather than resolving it. At its core, it isn’t much different from other OCD-like presentations I see in my practice.
The term “Trump derangement syndrome” emerged as a tongue-in-cheek partisan label. The joke obscured the psychological reality in which a political figure becomes a symbolic stand-in for threat and loss of control.
Mr. Trump himself isn’t the pathology; he is the trigger. For many, he functions as a psychological screen onto which unresolved fears and insecurities are projected. Political disagreement turns into perceived personal threat. A smaller group of Trump supporters have similar responses of opposite valence: They experience anger and feelings of persecution whenever Mr. Trump is criticized, as if an attack on him were an attack on them. In both cases, emotion replaces reason, and psychological distance collapses.
Therapy, once a space for cognitive restructuring, has in some quarters become an echo chamber for emotion. Rather than challenging distorted thoughts, many therapists affirm them, mistaking empathy for effectiveness. The language of trauma and safety has migrated into everyday discourse, pathologizing discomfort and politicizing distress. Political anxiety serves as moral performance instead of a cue for regulation.
For many Americans, what began as a stress response has become a chronic state of hyperarousal and vigilance. In 2016 the reaction was acute: disbelief, anger, panic. By 2020 it had hardened into identity. Now it has become a way of life. During the 2024 campaign and into 2025, many patients have spoken with fatalistic dread about Mr. Trump’s continuing presence at the center of national life. Even hearing his name can trigger a physiological response. They aren’t reacting to Mr. Trump the man but to Trump the symbol—the embodiment of chaos, threat and loss of control.
The clinical challenge is to engage without reinforcing the obsession. Helping patients limit information intake, identify cognitive distortions and tolerate uncertainty restores psychological flexibility, the capacity that obsession erodes. As with other anxiety disorders, exposure and cognitive reappraisal are more effective than reassurance. The goal is perspective, not persuasion.
Psychologically, the treatment is differentiation. Patients must learn to separate internal anxiety from external reality and to see Mr. Trump not as an emotional projection but as an external figure whose significance can be managed rather than magnified.
For therapists, the task is to resist moral contagion, restore perspective and help patients regain cognitive distance. The goal isn’t to feel safe from Mr. Trump but to feel stable despite him. We can’t have a healthy democracy if half the country experiences the other half as a trauma trigger. The challenge, clinical and cultural, is to rebuild psychological distance—to see the difference between what we feel and what truly is. Only then can people engage politically without losing their mental balance.

Are any math frens here intuitive learners? I believe this may be the trouble w kiddo. He is able to do nearly all his algebra 1 so far in his head. To have him do the steps, he is having an emotional breakdown. I really dont know what to do. If any of you learn this way, how did or do you get through writing each step? Thx.

Hmm. Ill have to find some alg 2 worksheets w the steps. He has made some mistakes, and i always make him redo w every step to find the mistake. Today he took his test, 100% but didnt show all the work. However he actually says , in his mind, its different than the saxon step by step. And he gets the answer but cant articulate how each time.
I personally am not sure how to approach it.
Most of what I found in my research was how to develop mental math – from the basics to where he is so it is backwards – maybe there is something in these articles that would resonate with you – and him…

The intuitive approach is very valuable to have!
When I tutor math, I try to teach how to *think* about math – the ideas, the rules, and how math progresses from simplicity to complexity.
I took Alg II & Trig in a 6-week summer course, but afterward, I needed pre-calc to *understand* trig. Learning what is coming after, helps solidify what has come before.
So, Gail’s advice above works!
“Mathematical Magic Show” by Gardner is excellent, and I would also recommend Asimov’s “Asimov On Numbers,” from the 1950s.
Lastly, it’s better to call exercises as “puzzles” rather than “problems,” and it’s also a good technique to try to suss out what the teachers are trying to test one on. It helps alleviate anxiety to consider the test-authors’ perspective.

Saxon apparently does not have the appropriate cakculus bridge for vollege admission so this yr is the last saxon program. I am considering this program below, which is a full online program.

“Showing your work” or writing the steps out for a simple (or maybe 3 to 4 step) problem is annoying when you can just do it in your head, but once he gets to more complicated math (like trig, for example) it will be very helpful. I used to be a para in a middle school math classroom. Showing work was like pulling teeth for those kids, but later in life it helped them so much in the more complicated math classes. Good luck to you both, I found it incredibly challenging to work with my own children than it was to work with other kiddos. Just my 2 cents. 😀

All that makes sense. He needs another person. His dad is better at math than me, but hasnt the temperament for teaching.
One of several reasons to learn the process well and to document those steps on your paper is that the problems in algebra are going to become quite a bit more complicated and messy. Unless he has an eidetic memory, he’s going to need that structure and documentation to fight his way though the mess to the solution.
For example, a bit more messy problem might be to solve these two simultaneous equations with an inequality: y=x**2-4 and y<2x+1. If you’re gonna try to do that in your head, you’ll probably get a headache. Or, what if that simple example were to become one more step messier with: 3.1y=x**2.2-4.307 and 5.5y<2.304x+1.34? Same process, but a real mess to deal with.

He should be praised for his ability to rapidly come to a solution, and be told that it will help him double-check his answers, but that the methods being taught get to the right answer every time, even when the problems are too complex to shortcut.

There’s an old story of a math professor writing this huge bunch of equations on the board, while commenting along the way, “from Euler’s identity, here….” and “cancelling exponents here….”.
He gets to a step and goes, “from here, it is obvious that….” and abruptly stops. He tilts his head to one side, then the other. He then mutters, “excuse me”, and ducks out the classroom door. Students hear his running footsteps echo down the corridor. Some wonder if he was taking a bathroom break.
Soon afterward, students hear his running footsteps coming back to the classroom. He puts a large old textbook onto his desk, opens it about 2/3 through, then rapidly flips a few more pages. He squints at the book, then turns and looks back at what he just wrote, then squints at the book again.
He then says, “I was right, it is obvious,” and goes back to writing on the board.
Hubby’s former girl friend (a very nice lady) had a math teacher with the chalk in one hand and an eraser in the other. He would ERASE the equations as he went along talking to the chalk board with his body blocking what he had written…
My Calc prof in college was the dean of math and could not teach. After 2 classes I gave up and just read the text (Thomas & Thomas) and went to the recitations and tests. The grad student finally asked my why I never went to class and I told him because the prof confuses me.

Maybe, but I doubt it. He has that hurt, entitled attitude, bordering on anger, that says, “They won’t tell us, so I’ll dig things up because We-The-People have a right to know”—which is inexplicable to me, and which I don’t agree with in the middle of an investigation. You either trust that they’re doing their jobs to the best of their ability, or you don’t.
Bringing out information to make them look inept goes way over the line, IMO. It feeds into a narrative that puts the doubting public on the side of the journalist “just doing his job,” which is not a fair fight because law enforcement can’t reveal what is going on. The whole situation, including people’s clamoring and criticizing, is distasteful to me.
The main person who has a right to know everything and evaluate the job they are doing is Pres. Trump. He was the victim, and as POTUS, he has a right to know everything. I trust him to decide whether they are acting appropriately.

In this case, letting the other side think that their mojo is working, and that they have successfully shut down the investigation of Crooks, might be good.
I know that sounds like hopium, but nothing else explains how the obvious is being [apparently] ignored.
If that is the case, then our side is falling right into it. It’s our constant criticism of the good guys that I get tired of. It’s our being used without people’s being aware of it, or even the possibility of it, that is fatiguing. IMO we should have more awareness of the multiple possibilities by now and be able to act accordingly. Thank you for bringing up some of them.
Yes. Disinformation and malign influence on the other side’s base via unseen forces are almost the definition of 5th-generation warfare.
One of the things about Crooks that is very interesting is that he flipped from one extreme to the other, but what was useful to “them” was what stayed constant – his belief that violence was necessary.
IMO the clandestine forces now look for people who are useful as deniable foci of influence, be that merely the deployment of disinformation and malign influence behind enemy lines, or be it for action as deniable assassins.
This aligns with my belief that Facebook was used to find people psychologically willing to cheat as election workers, and that information was used to then find and recruit them.
Thus, I think they are targeting people in Trump’s base by whatever psychology works on them – both at the individual level and at the larger level. Testing on individuals yields tactics that can work in mass media. A number of those have proven to be duds at the mass media level but not all.
The first wave of “Epstein frustration” was a very successful attack on Trump, but the most recent one was a dud.

At 14 minutes in, I have seen enough to know that FBI has a tiger of a case by the tail, and they are stonewalling correctly and as needed, so as not to fuck up the case.
This is huge – bigger than any serial killer case – bigger than almost any RICO or other conspiracy.

I agree. I don’t understand why people can’t see the need to “clam up.” IMO, if that means even lying to the public on occasion to protect an investigation that “has a tiger by the tail,” so be it. If it’s a question of lying vs. saying “We can’t reveal anything about that at the moment,” which would either give the answer away, would make people draw their own conclusions, or would give info to the enemy, so be it. I don’t care, if it helps the investigation. I don’t have a right to any information related to it while they are working on it. No one else does either. I hope that what Tucker is doing has not hampered anything.

I watched the video on double speed w/ subtitles so it took half the time & was mostly understandable, fwiw. Tucker talks about Crooks’ online comments, hundreds, from his YouTube account. There are images of the comments w/ yellow highlighting on the parts Tucker is emphasizing.

This is not from the video, but from my own brain:
1) He said the 274 FBI in plainclothes with no riot gear were sent to “quell the riot” on Jan 6. Yeah, right. So, bullshit me once, and I disbelieve you from then on.
2) Claiming that Crooks, who had SIX cell phones and overseas encrypted accounts, somehow had all that and NO accomplices beggars belief. Who the hell has six legit cell phones? His house was completely scrubbed clean, too. And they immediately cremated him. And they scrubbed the roof crime scene within days.
3) Patel has only released this information because Tucker investigated and brought pressure to bear. We haven’t heard jack until that happened.
Those are reasons I have to disbelieve Patel. YMMV.

In the months after Jan. 6, FBI officials declined to assign a single agent to investigate Donald Trump or those around him for efforts to overturn the results of the presidential election — actions that later became central to special counsel Jack Smith’s ill-fated case against Trump.
By contrast, Bureau leaders in the Washington Field Office quickly poured resources into the pipe-bomb investigation. They saw the would-be bomber as a key to understanding how extensively the day’s political violence had been planned — and whether the bombs were intended to divert police from the Capitol as Trump’s supporters stormed it.
One of the first steps that FBI investigators took was to scour the blocks around the sites where the bombs were found in the hour before the riot began — one near a dumpster outside the Republican Party headquarters, and the other near a bush and garage entrance to the Democratic National Committee building.
Agents found more than a half-dozen government security cameras and home surveillance systems had captured the suspicious individual meandering around the sites for about an hour the night before the riot. The suspect paused for a while on a park bench, cut through an alley and stopped again as a neighbor walking a dog passed by.
In each video, the suspect wore a light-colored sweatshirt, dark pants and sneakers and carried a dark-colored backpack. Several agents judged from the suspect’s gait that the person was probably male. But the individual’s face was covered by a medical mask, and a hooded sweatshirt obscured most of the suspect’s head.
Supervisors pressed investigators not to draw assumptions about the suspect’s gender.
“We didn’t want to have tunnel vision and rule out people as suspects,” said one person involved in the discussions at the time. “We all figured it was a man, but we never came to conclusions — and never excluded women.” Investigators also held open the possibility that the bomber had accomplices or was part of a group that had conspired to build and place the devices.

While sitting on the park bench, the suspect at one point appeared to stare down at a phone, so agents began harnessing phone data to identify the device. They obtained cell tower data that showed phones in the area at the time. Investigators also served subpoenas on Google, which collects location data to help determine which ads to show users.
Those steps resulted in a list of about 120 devices, according to documents obtained by Congress and a person familiar with the case. Agents then narrowed that to about 20 phones that belonged to people who had no obvious reason to be in the area at the time, the person said. In some cases, agents went deep into those customers’ records, studying their call history and reviewing their internet activity. They came up empty.
The investigation, however, soon centered on the parts technicians found while carefully disassembling at least one of the bombs. The devices were “operable” and had been rigged with gunpowder, according to documents and one person familiar with the case, but their timers had not been set to detonate. The devices’ components included steel pipes, simple timers, batteries and a battery connector.
Agents began to catalogue where each item could have been purchased. For most, the list turned out to be long and included big-box national retail chains like Home Depot and Lowe’s. But the battery connector was different. Agents could find the piece for sale only at a string of hobby shops. It seemed like a critical clue.
The FBI subpoenaed retailers for credit card transaction data to revealthe names of people who bought the battery connectors over several months. They compared that list to the owners of phones located near the party headquarters around the time the explosives were planted. There was no match.
Investigators then cast a wider net. They pulled in reams of credit card transactions from the big-box stores. Had anyone used the same card to purchase the exact steel pipe, timer, and the battery connector used in the bombs? No. They also looked for purchases of any single bomb part that could be traced to someone whose phone was used in the area on the night the bombs were planted. Again, agents came up empty.
As investigators collected more information, data and computer analysts joined the effort.
The FBI sought records showing the time and location of every cash purchase of a battery connector or other potential bomb component, transactions that would leave no record to identify the purchaser. To attach a name to those purchases they issued subpoenas for all cellphones active near stores in the minutes around each cash transaction. Sorting the data became a head-spinning task, people familiar with the investigation said.
Another group of agents, meanwhile, analyzed every bit of video evidence of the suspect for leads hidden in the images. The suspect’s backpack appeared to have had a logo removed. Agents searched for similar backpacks and studied the size and shape of logos from 18 different backpack manufacturers. Again, they looked for purchases of the brand and model they thought might have been in the pictures.
A few agents focused on the suspect’s clothing. While the person’s sweatshirt and pants bore few distinct markings, investigators could make out sneakers with a unique dark-and-white pattern. There was one shoe that looked almost identical: the Nike Air Max Speed Turf.
Agents contacted Nike. There had been about 23,000 pairs sold in the United States before Jan. 6, 2021, and the shoe had been distributed by more than two dozen retail companies. Agents filed subpoenas for credit card receipts from Foot Locker and other chains. Several retailers could not track purchases by specific shoes. Still, the effort produced a list of almost 1,200 sneaker sales with credit cards to compare to purchases of the bomb components and cellphone data.
That process led agents to the gym employee. The person lived within the zone where the FBI had pulled cellphones operating the night before the attack. The person came under further scrutiny after he initially lied to agents about a leg injury, according to people familiar with the investigation. Agents wondered if the injury could have accounted for the odd gait seen on security footage. They served subpoenas for records showing his communications and movements but eventually concluded there was no other evidence tying him to the crime and cleared him as a suspect.
Nearly three months into their effort to track sales of the bombmaking materials, the purchases of a teenager in Cobb County, Georgia, raised alarms.
There was no indication the then 17-year-old had been in D.C. around Jan. 6, but his pattern of purchases was disturbing. Agents notified local police, who raided the home of Dylan Chapman. He was soon charged with possession of an explosive device, as well as weapons and drugs.
“It wasn’t what we were going for, but it was at least one good thing,” said another person familiar with the investigation. “It felt like we stopped something bad from happening.”
Local authorities later revealed in court hearings that they had received information about Chapman’s purchases at a Home Depot in Georgia from the FBI. He used the items to construct a pipe bomb that he detonated in a wooded area, according to court records.
Chapman’s attorney, Kim Keheley Frye, said in an interview that she and her client were unaware the case was connected to the Jan. 6 investigation. Frye said she had sought more information from local authorities about the FBI’s involvement in the case but was rebuffed. Local prosecutors agreed to a plea deal, and Chapman was sentenced to two years in prison in 2024.
Every January, FBI officials have renewed their pledge to keep working to solve the case. On the fourth anniversary, FBI Washington Field Office chief David Sundberg told NPR that the bureau remains convinced that “there are people that still know something.”

“Over four years, allegiances might change,” Sundberg said, “Relationships might change. People might recognize that what doesn’t seem as important to them might be a piece of this investigation that we could really use.”
The right shred of new evidence could still help connect dots, people familiar with the investigation said.
Before taking over as the Bureau’s second-in-command, Dan Bongino told his podcast listeners in January that the pipe bomb case was “the biggest scandal in FBI history” and that the FBI knew the identity of the bomber and “just doesn’t want to tell us because it was an inside job.”
