I grew up where our “local” bar was out in the middle of ‘nowhere’. The bar acted as a mail drop for the cowboys who worked and lived in the mountains. Newspapers were kept in a corner for them so they could catchup on news when they came in from camps. Over the years, I saw a lot of men reading newspapers at that bar.
Yeah, not something one sees anymore, but newspapers were a lifeline for those living in remote areas back in the day.
And they used to have quizzes on the contents and ads in those newspapers, which gave rise to the expression “passing the bar”…..

This info is from Grant Stinchfield. I am not familiar with him. According to his bio, he is a respected, award-winning, conservative journalist.
What I want to know is how he claims to know this info. It’s something that any one of us could come up with: “We’ll never see the real story; government wants it hidden; it’s too explosive (in their opinion) and would take down governments; Epstein was an agent,” blah, blah, blah. But how could Stinchfield know these things when seemingly no one else does?
Also, if “the real stuff” has been hidden away and will remain there, then why all the drama about the Epstein files? Pres. Trump could have just released what Stinchfield calls “the click-bait files” and be done with it. Trump might have gained a little political capital by making the Dems grovel for the files, only to find that they contain damning info on them, but I don’t know if all of this was worth that. The Dems who had Epstein connections could have been outed a long time ago, and it could have been shown that Trump was not involved with Epstein.
If this is just another case of someone presenting their own speculation as firm fact, then I object (as if that matters 😅). But seriously, this is how rumors and false stories begin to spread.

I am trying my best to look at this through the dispassionate lens of reality.
When Pam Bondi released the infamous “Phase One” binders, she started the mess. Because there was nothing in them that wasn’t already known. Did she know, or was she ignorant of that fact? I don’t know. But people were pissed, because it felt like the same old tap dance of government bullshit.
Bondi claimed evidence was being withheld from her by the Southern District of NY. She demanded said info.
Then she got the information from SDNY. She hinted that the client information was on her desk, but walked that back (this may have come before the SDNY info was obtained; I’m writing all of this from memory).
Then, she was secretly recorded saying there were “tens of thousands” of videos children and child porn. She did NOT specify in that recording that it was all with Epstein UNTIL she was asked in front of reporters, when she said it was Epstein with children.
At that point, I think, came the infamous Cabinet meeting where she said finis. And Trump was saying we were all nuts for even asking for the info. I will tell you that, from my real life conversations, Trump lost a LOT of people who voted for him that day. Like it or not, it was a bridge too far for some people who, maybe having never even voted before, voted for Trump, hoping it would be “different.” I heard them, I know it’s true, and nothing since then has changed their minds. We can be all outraged, and say “sunshine patriot” all we want. There are people who just wanted transparent honest government for once, and they saw that pronouncement as the complete opposite of what they voted for.
With that, the back-and-forth of whether the “files” and “list” would be released and at whose direction began, and it has blown up from there. And now, it is speculation and conspiracy theory heaven. But that is BECAUSE Pam Bondi released “Phase One” binders (implies Phase Two) of already known information in a publicity stunt for the ages. She did it to herself, and to the administration. It was a self-own, and the ongoing consequences are what we are seeing. She opened a Pandora’s Box of conspiracy theories that may never be explained.
That’s why there’s “drama.”
IMO we need to look at this from higher up, to see WHY Bondi did what she did.
IMO it’s not a fuck-up – it’s a distraction. A series of very calculated and intentional distractions. However, the Demmunists can’t point at the truth, either. They can’t accuse Bondi of distracting, because “what she is distracting from” becomes apparent, and THEY are distracting from it, too.

IMO, the only people who have a chance of finding and releasing even tidbits of what people have been incited to want, is Tulsi Gabbard (DNI) and John Ratcliffe (CIA). I don’t even think State (Marco Rubio) has access – although Rubio (Florida pol) could likely demand “no access” because the released information affects relations with Israel and other nations.

I see the “reality” of Israel differently than you, and probably most here.
A few things I think:
1) Israel is the only democratic, Western-style government in the Middle East. Our only reliable (non-Islamic) ally there. I say that because any Islamic government is subject to taquiyya, which means they are most likely lying to us all the time. I don’t believe one word from any Islamic government to be 100% true.
2) I think the world benefits from helping Israel. I think that for temporal as well as spiritual reasons. I think a world where we allow an entire people to be wiped out for their religion is a corrupted and debased world. We are already sliding down the slope to utter debauched evil; I think to leave Israel to her fate would seal the deal. For the same reason, I support efforts in Nigeria to save Christians.
3) The obsession with destroying Israel is the Middle Eastern Islamists first and primary goal. But once that buffer was destroyed, they would turn their full attention on us. By full attention, I mean the whole enchilada, WWIII. Israel serves as bait for their attention. We stand somewhat in the background.
4) Just like the CIA is NOT America, Mossad is NOT Israel. Both those organizations are now extra-governmental, along with all the other high-level “intelligence” agencies of the world, including MI-6, Russian SVR, Chinese intelligence (whatever it’s called) and Iran’s (also whatever they call it). They don’t really answer to anyone except themselves. It’s a game being played out all around us, that we can’t see.
I think you give Bondi too much credit. I don’t see anything about her that makes me think she’s that smart. I think what we saw is what happened.

I worked in the industry for over 6 years. Where I worked had a nuclear power plant. They are safe. They have many of redundancies of safeguards along with a long track record now. They are the most efficient method of power generation today. The company I was employed by is on the NYSE.
That said, I believe electricity generation and transmission should not be privately held. The argument that private enterprise can deliver it better at less cost is not true in that industry. There is no competition for services to drive the costs down to consumers. There is only one company or government entity that can deliver power to a location. This is one service/product I believe should be delivered by a government entity under cost and delivery regulations that is independently government entity reviewed, It is an essential service for life on this planet today. The capital costs to adequately provide are immense and it is a matter of national security. I know the rate structures and the municipalities that purchase power from private and quasi government power producers deliverer it to consumers and businesses at a lower cost. They are more responsive to their citizens and have less room to cut corners and defer maintenance because their bosses are their neighbors.
I am a capitalist inside and out, but my desire is to see us nationalize power generation and deliver it through coops and municipalities nationwide with a federal regulatory and review body covering the power generation and each state having the same for the distribution.
It is like having local and state militias versus a large federal military. They are not the same and the later is better against attack today. With electricity, one is piecemealed that leaves the grid exposed and the other is better organized and delivered that can withstand attack better while keeping costs to customers more reasonable.
Duke Energy FORCED Smart meters on our area. I am one of THREE homes without a smart meter and it COSTS US $30 a month extra. Once our meter dies, we get a smart meter wether we want it or not.
One must pay the $30 bill in order to pay the electric bill – a fee for paying the fee!
“Smart” meters generate ~600x the EM radiation of cell phones, I’ve read, and have all sorts of deleterious effects on the body and on the brain.
Furthermore, the “smart” meters are remote-controlled, so that MAL-adjustments of frequencies et al. can torch a home all at once, heating all the copper wiring to a ~6,000°F instant conflagration.

The trouble with Rush, IMO, was that he was not good at taking risks and “getting away with it”, which is a whole ‘nuther skill from simply taking risks.
When they heard that huge cracking sound, that was it. That sub had been down several times without danger, but suddenly there’s a sign of trouble.
That’s it – THAT is when to bail and make another sub. Cut your losses. GTFO while the gittin’ is good!
If he would have treated those things as “disposable subs”, it could have worked. You get 2, 3, maybe 4 rides for sure out of each one, but then you play very carefully as the rides stack up. Maybe never more than 5 – or use the old ones for training. Something like that.
Knowing when to BAIL is one of the strongest skills of successful risk-takers. Stockton Rush deceived himself. His weird mindset of one day saying it was all risky, and the next day negating it? That’s bullshit. He was COCKY toward the sphere-safety crowd. He should have been very up-front about how their rides were way safer, and that he was using a risky architecture – BUT that it was OK to take the risks with “fresh” subs.

😂 This is the best method I’ve seen. The video is a little over two minutes long. The key is to wrap the cat in a blanket like a burrito, making sure that the front paws are included and that the cat can’t escape from the towel and that its paws can’t come out, at all. I have found that straddling the cat from behind so it can’t move is helpful. Then “all” you have to deal with is its head, getting the mouth open (which she covers in the video), and forcing the pill down the throat. 😱

When the South seceded, was the Republic broken, and NOT reconstituted? Did the “Emancipation Proclamation” actually free the slaves, or were they merely elevated to the same (slave?) status as everyone else in America? The word ’emancipation,’ in law, ISN’T synonymous to ‘freedom,’ just like ‘liberty’ isn’t the same either.
These legal definitions are a large part of the bag-o-tricks that have been used against We The People.

And “Persons” aren’t men and women, and aren’t “people.” This, I believe, is why in the Citizens United lawsuit, SC Chief Justice Roberts sided with the corporations, ‘properly’ calling them ‘persons.’
There’s a ton more; and all I believe is that it’s extremely likely, in my judgment, that if only a few of the suppositions above (along with many more I haven’t cited) are true, in the main, then it’s reasonable to allow for *most* of them to be true.
It’s a statistical thing, and when too many instances of similar coincidences align, it’s a better bet to consider them to be true, EVEN WITH PROVISIONS.
From this perspective, one may get a partial reason why so much in America is so FUBAR.

We were sold ISO – ISO 9000 family — Quality management
There were three key points I had major problems with as a QC Engineer:
ISO ‘Certified Suppliers’ No way am I going to QUIT doing incoming inspection and TRUST the supplier. Reduce inspection? Sure but I AM going to want to do at least some inspection to keep him honest.
ONE SOURCE: This was based on the fact multiple sources will give you a broader distribution of results in your critical qualities.
Just-in-Time (JIT) Inventory is recieved just as the manufacturing floor needs it.
Combine those three and you have a disaster waiting to happen. At minimum the product quality goes down the tubes.
I also had a MAJOR problem with Six Sigma Training when I took it. It was ALL about floor workers punching numbers into a computer with ZERO knowledge of the statistics behind what they are doing.
Statistics are powerful, yet they only use the rear-view mirror to ‘predict’ the future.
Anomalous events baffle statistics, exactly because one isn’t looking through the WINDSHIELD to see where one is going! (The impending future.)
Long-shots DO come in (as casinos know), but it’s the *timing* that’s the problem: no one knows WHEN a six-sigma (or greater) event will happen.
Having a “just-in-time” inventory protocol is quite efficient … right up until it ISN’T (an unforeseen problem), and that problem might wipe out all the prior ‘efficiencies’ benefit in one go!

I was working at a company that went through ISO 9000 certification. I was not impressed.
For one thing, it was a documentation standard with no actual connection to quality. This is similar to Gail’s point about agriculture — nobody wants to go out and actually touch a cow, they just want to make sure its paperwork is in order.
They emphasized that the first command of ISO 9000 is to demand that all your suppliers be ISO 9000 certified. It seemed very cultish. (This is, BTW, how we got sucked into this mess — our customers were demanding it.)
Finally, it seemed to me that it was intended to combat expertise. Every job function was to be documented to the point that commodity people could be slotted into any position and just read the instructions. This is great for replacing citizens with H-1B visas, outsourcing overseas, and doing RIFs of any expensive experienced employees. None of these things tend to improve actual quality.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri has escalated its attempt to seize Chinese government-owned property across the United States, asking the Trump administration for help collecting on a roughly $25 billion court judgment related to the COVID-19 pandemic that Beijing has flatly rejected.
Missouri has asked the U.S. State Department to formally notify China that the state intends to pursue assets with full or partial Chinese government ownership to satisfy the judgment, state Attorney General Catherine Hanaway said Wednesday.
The move stems from a lawsuit alleging China hoarded personal protective equipment during the early months of the pandemic, harming Missouri and its residents. A federal judge ruled for Missouri earlier this year after China declined to participate in the trial, calling the lawsuit “ very absurd ” when it was filed in 2020.

Minnesota is drowning in fraud. Billions in taxpayer dollars have been stolen during the administration of Governor Tim Walz alone. Democratic state officials, overseeing one of the most generous welfare regimes in the country, are asleep at the switch. And the media, duty-bound by progressive pieties, refuse to connect the dots.
In many cases, the fraud has allegedly been perpetrated by members of Minnesota’s sizeable Somali community. Federal counterterrorism sources confirm that millions of dollars in stolen funds have been sent back to Somalia, where they ultimately landed in the hands of the terror group Al-Shabaab. As one confidential source put it: “The largest funder of Al-Shabaab is the Minnesota taxpayer.”
Our investigation shows what happens when a tribal mindset meets a bleeding-heart bureaucracy, when imported clan loyalties collide with a political class too timid to offend, and when accusations of racism are cynically deployed to shield criminal behavior. The predictable result is graft, with taxpayers left to foot the bill.
If you were to design a welfare program to facilitate fraud, it would probably look a lot like Minnesota’s Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services program. The HSS program, the first of its kind in the country, was launched with a noble goal: to help seniors, addicts, the disabled, and the mentally ill secure housing. It was designed with “low barriers to entry” and “minimal requirements for reimbursement.” Nonetheless, before the program went live in 2020, officials pegged its annual estimated price tag at $2.6 million.
Costs quickly spiraled out of control. In 2021, the program paid out more than $21 million in claims. In the following years, annual costs shot up to $42 million, then $74 million, then $104 million. During the first six months of 2025, payouts totaled $61 million.
On August 1, Minnesota’s Department of Human Services moved to scrap the HSS program, noting that payment to 77 housing-stabilization providers had been terminated this year due to “credible allegations of fraud.” Joe Thompson, then the Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota, went even further, stating that the “vast majority” of the HSS program was fraudulent.
On September 18, Thompson announced criminal indictments for HSS fraud against Moktar Hassan Aden, Mustafa Dayib Ali, Khalid Ahmed Dayib, Abdifitah Mohamud Mohamed, Christopher Adesoji Falade, Emmanuel Oluwademilade Falade, Asad Ahmed Adow, and Anwar Ahmed Adow—six of whom, according a U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesperson, are members of Minnesota’s Somali community. Thompson made clear that this is just the first round of charges for HSS fraud that his office will be prosecuting.
“Most of these cases, unlike a lot of Medicare fraud and Medicaid fraud cases nationally, aren’t just overbilling,” Thompson said at a press conference announcing the indictments. “These are often just purely fictitious companies solely created to defraud the system, and that’s unique in the extent to which we have that here in Minnesota.”
Thompson said many firms enrolled in the program “operated out of dilapidated storefronts or rundown office buildings.” The perpetrators often targeted people recently released from rehab, signing them up for Medicaid services they had no intention of providing. He noted many owners of companies engaged in HSS fraud had “other companies through which they billed other Medicaid programs, such as the EIDBI autism program, the . . . Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services program, the . . . Integrated Community Support program, the Community Access for Disability Inclusion . . . program, PCA services, and other Medicaid-waivered services.”
“What we see are schemes stacked upon schemes, draining resources meant for those in need. It feels never ending,” Thompson said. “I have spent my career as a fraud prosecutor and the depth of the fraud in Minnesota takes my breath away.”
On September 18, the same day that the HSS fraud charges were announced, the U.S. Attorney’s Office reported that a man named Abdullahe Nur Jesow had become the 56th defendant to plead guilty in the $250 million Feeding Our Future fraud scheme.
Founded in 2016, Feeding Our Future was a small Minnesota nonprofit that sponsored daycares and after-school programs to enroll in the Federal Child Nutrition Program. The organizations that Feeding Our Future sponsored were primarily owned and operated by members of Minnesota’s Somali community, according to two former state officials with connections to law enforcement.
In 2019, Feeding Our Future received $3.4 million in federal funding disbursed by the state. In the months after the Covid-19 pandemic began, however, the nonprofit rapidly increased its number of sponsored sites. Using fake meal counts, doctored attendance records, and fabricated invoices, the perpetrators of the fraud ring claimed to be serving thousands of meals a day, seven days a week, to underprivileged children. In 2021, Feeding Our Future received nearly $200 million in funding.
In reality, the money was being used to fund lavish lifestyles, purchase luxury vehicles, and buy real estate in the United States, Turkey, and Kenya. In 2020, Minnesota officials raised concerns about the nonprofit’s rapid expansion. In response, the group filed a lawsuit alleging racial discrimination related to outstanding site applications, noting that Feeding Our Future “caters to . . . foreign nationals.”
“That’s the standard operating playbook for that cohort: when in doubt, claim racism, claim bias,” says David Gaither, a former Minnesota state senator and a nonprofit leader. “Even if the facts don’t point to that, it allows for many folks in the middle, or on the center-Left, to stay silent.”
Gaither believes the mainstream media, alongside Minnesota’s Democratic establishment, have long turned a blind eye to fraud within the Somali community. This, in turn, allowed the problem to metastasize. “The media does not want to put a light on this,” Gaither said. “And if you’re a politician, it’s a significant disadvantage for you to alienate the Somali community. If you don’t win the Somali community, you can’t win Minneapolis. And if you don’t win Minneapolis, you can’t win the state. End of story.”
The fraudsters have leveraged their growing political influence to cultivate close ties with Minnesota’s elected officials. Several individuals involved in the Feeding Our Future scheme donated to, or appeared publicly with, Ilhan Omar, the Somali-born congresswoman from Minneapolis. Omar’s deputy district director, Ali Isse, advocated on behalf of Feeding Our Future. Omar Fateh, a former state senator who recently ran for Minneapolis mayor, lobbied Governor Tim Walz in support of the program. And one of the accused, Abdi Nur Salah, served as a senior aide to Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey.
Just days later, on September 24, U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson announced his office’s first indictment in yet another fraud case. This time, the scheme involved federally funded autism services for children.
The accused is a woman named Asha Farhan Hassan, a member of Minnesota’s Somali community, who has also been charged in the Feeding Our Future scam. She’s alleged to have played a role in a $14 million fraud scheme perpetrated against Minnesota’s Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention program.
Hassan and her co-conspirators “approached parents in the Somali community” and recruited their children into autism therapy services. It didn’t matter, prosecutors suggested, if a child did not have an autism diagnosis: Hassan would facilitate a fraudulent one.
In a press release announcing the indictment, the U.S. Attorney’s Office made clear that the alleged autism fraud scheme extended to a wide network of people. “To drive up enrollment, Hassan and her partners paid monthly cash kickback payments to the parents of children who enrolled,” the release reads. “These kickback payments ranged from approximately $300 to $1500 per month, per child. The amount of these payments was contingent on the services DHS authorized a child to receive—the higher the authorization amount, the higher the kickback. Often, parents threatened to leave . . . and take their children to other autism centers if they did not get paid higher kickbacks.”
Much like with the HSS program, autism claims to Medicaid in Minnesota have skyrocketed in recent years—from $3 million in 2018 to $54 million in 2019, $77 million in 2020, $183 million 2021, $279 million in 2022, and $399 million in 2023. Meantime, the number of autism providers in the state spiked from 41 to 328 over the same period, with many in the Somali community establishing their own autism treatment centers, citing the need for “culturally appropriate programming.” By the time the fraud scheme was exposed, one in 16 Somali four-year-olds in the state had reportedly been diagnosed with autism—a rate more than triple the state average.
“This is not an isolated scheme,” Thompson, the U.S. attorney, said in a press release. “From Feeding Our Future to Housing Stabilization Services and now Autism Services, these massive fraud schemes form a web that has stolen billions of dollars in taxpayer money. Each case we bring exposes another strand of this network.”
What Thompson arguably hinted at, but left unsaid, should be obvious: this “network” of “fraud schemes,” which “form a web” that has stolen “billions of dollars in taxpayer money,” involved many members of Minnesota’s Somali community. The Feeding Our Future, HSS, and autism-services cases are far from the only examples. At least 28 fraud scandals have surfaced since Walz was elected governor in 2019. Most of the large-scale fraud rings, according to two former FBI officials who spoke with City Journal, have been perpetrated by members of the Somali community.
Kayesh Magan, a Somali-American who had worked as a fraud investigator at the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, identified the problem last year: “We must grapple with something that is uncomfortable and true: Nearly all of the defendants in the cases I’ve listed are from my community. The Somali community.”
Perhaps the most surprising aspect of the Somalia fraud story is the scale, with total costs running into the billions of taxpayer dollars. That raises the question: What happened to all that money?
The Somali fraud rings have sent huge sums in remittances, or money transfers, from Minnesota to Somalia. According to reports, an estimated 40 percent of households in Somalia get remittances from abroad. In 2023 alone, the Somali diaspora sent back $1.7 billion—more than the Somali government’s budget for that year.
Our investigation reveals, for the first time, that some of this money has been directed to an even more troubling destination: the al-Qaida-linked Islamic terror group Al-Shabaab. According to multiple law-enforcement sources, Minnesota’s Somali community has sent untold millions through a network of “hawalas,” informal clan-based money-traders, that have wound up in the coffers of Al-Shabaab.
According to Glenn Kerns, a retired Seattle Police Department detective who spent 14 years on a federal Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), the Somalis ran a sophisticated money network, spanning from Seattle to Minneapolis, and were routing significant amounts of cash on commercial flights from the Seattle airport to the hawala networks in Somalia. One of these networks, Kerns discovered, sent $20 million abroad in a single year. “The amount of money was staggering,” Kerns said.
Kerns’s investigation eventually expanded to Minnesota, where he realized the same thing was happening. “I worked on it for five years,” Kerns said. “We had sources going into the hawalas to send money. I went down to [Minnesota] and pulled all of their records and, well shit, all these Somalis sending out money are on DHS benefits. How does that make sense? We had good sources tell us: this is welfare fraud.”
Kerns then investigated the hawalas in Somalia that were receiving the money transfers. He determined, primarily through human sources, that significant funds were being sent from America to Al-Shabaab networks in Somalia. Whether the money was intended for Al-Shabaab or not, Kerns said, they were taking a cut.
A second former official, who worked on the Minneapolis JTTF, confirms the story’s general structure. This former official, who requested to remain anonymous, worked on two terrorism cases that intersected with Minnesota’s Somali community and has studied the flow of funds from Minnesota to Somalia.
“Every scrap of economic activity, in the Twin Cities, in America, throughout Western Europe, anywhere Somalis are concentrated, every cent that is sent back to Somalia benefits Al-Shabaab in some way,” the former official said. “For every dollar that is transferred from the Twin Cities back to Somalia, Al-Shabaab is . . . taking a cut of it.”
A third source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, described the close links between the Somali-American community in Minnesota and Islamic terror groups abroad. Ten years ago, the source was recruited as an “independent contractor” for a three-letter agency investigation into the “Minnesota men” who had joined, or attempted to join, ISIS. That year, a Homeland Security task force report found that Minnesota led the nation in the number of Americans who had joined, or attempted to join, ISIS. Of the 58 Americans who had done so, nearly half came from Minnesota.
Scott Johnson, who has covered these and related stories for years, attended several of those men’s trials, reporting on them for City Journal. He noted that the Minnesota men “gave the outward appearance of American assimilation”—including being “sophisticated users of social-welfare benefits.”
The relationship is ongoing. “This is a third-rail conversation, but the largest funder of Al-Shabaab is the Minnesota taxpayer,” the third source said. “There is an issue here that is real, and if there is ever an event that is traceable back to these funds, or to people from this area, then this situation will take on a whole new set of optics.”
Welfare fraud is likely to become a major issue in Minnesota’s 2026 elections. Governor Tim Walz, now seeking a third term, has presided over a litany of scandals and faces Republican Kristin Robbins, who has made fraud prevention central to her campaign.
Gaither, the former state senator, said “political blowback is brewing” in the state and that, as more information emerges from ongoing investigations, “it’s a real rough place to be if you’re the current administration.” He added that if you talk to law-enforcement officials and others close to the probes, “they will tell you off the record that we aren’t even close to being halfway there” in understanding the true scale of the fraud.
The first step to solving a problem is acknowledging it. By extension, that means recognizing the problem’s true source. So far, Minnesota’s governing class and its media establishment have failed to take that basic step. Minnesotans will have to confront the uncomfortable but unavoidable reality: members of the Somali community have played a central role in the massive fraud now engulfing the North Star State.

But the sudden appearance of giant, brand new SUVs being driven badly in the ritzy places by Somali women in hijabs – that was weird and unexpected.
Indian and Chinese women in Volvos, Lexus, Audis, etc. – many of them doctors and managers – that’s expected. OK – you’ve finally made me begin to listen to the Tucker interview of Fuentes. I’m only 5 minutes in, and it’s genius. Tucker gets Fuentes to unmask TOTALLY. If Tucker were a spy, he would get promoted for this work. Now I know why he never challenges Fuentes. SMART.
PC kills, and it kills brain cells. Thankfully, Tucker didn’t play PC.
But so far, it sounds like Fuentes in 2015-2016 was very much like me, politically. He even knocked doors for Ted Cruz, before flipping to Trump. I probably beat him into Trump’s camp by weeks or a couple of months.
So where did he change? These are important questions.
Another thought – I cannot imagine that “groypers” would want anything to do with Tucker Carlson. It’s ridiculous. They hate people like me. They hate people like you. They hate people like Tucker. The accusation that he’s some kind of “groyper magnet” sounds like character assassination to me.
Anyway, back to the unmasking.
Just 8 minutes in, it’s brilliant. Old Nick Fuentes was just like us.
Fuentes was basically a Pepe boy during Trump 45.

Here’s the interview. 35 minutes in is “safe” – nothing even slightly toxic, IMO.
OK – the idea that Tucker didn’t come back at Fuentes is FALSE. At 37 minutes, Tucker actually does a very slick suggestion back at Fuentes, which is highly psychological, and frankly at the sophistication level of the people who are attacking Tucker. Quite fascinating.
So no – the idea that he didn’t respond to Fuentes is false. What Tucker didn’t do was come back at him with the demanded heavy-handedness required by the censors and the MSM.
I am glad I finally watched this – AND I’m starting to think that the point of labeling it, was to prevent people from watching it.
More pushback. LOL. Tucker is even folding his arms and tucking his chin, which is “bad Tucker”! LOL. A cringey moment.
OK – Tucker does SO MUCH pushing back on many things, including the “Jews” thing, that it’s complete slander to say he didn’t push back. People lied about this point.
Bigger still, both of these guys have apparently criticized each other extensively, and admit it!

Gail! I figured out why they don’t want people watching the Tucker interview. What comes out is that SPLC literally incited the attempted assassination of Fuentes! They did it in a plausibly deniable way. Holy crap!

Also the final question Tucker puts to Fuentes, about Trump, deportations, and Dems. Fuentes gives a phenomenal and brilliant answer that – frankly – almost everybody on this site would agree with strongly.
The entire interview has been mischaracterized – and hugely.
However, this is a good analysis of the “admiration of Stalin” statement, which seems a bit joking, but even if it’s a semi-sarcastic and knowing “admiration” – it’s still nasty and trolling at best, untrustworthy and suspicious IMO.

Fuentes is very smart, but by dropping out of college, he has a highly deficient historical basis, even in the history of the Roman Catholic Church in dealing with Hitler and the Nazis. His statement about Stalin leads to similar statements of his about China, and while there are some good points there (that the right needs to be more determined – I would add “when they’re clearly in the right, historically and morally”), these strong leaders and systems he admires, have dangerous flaws, and statements such as his, quite frankly, deserve scrutiny and honest gatekeeping.
Nick Fuentes is not as much a shit sandwich, as a Wagyu beef sandwich with a foolish and immature schmear of shit mustard. I get why Trump invited Fuentes and Kanye to dinner with him. Trump wanted to form his own opinion, and I’m quite sure he came to an opinion similar to mine.
After watching the video, it’s clear that the layer of Jewish gatekeeping on conservative media did its usual (and frankly generous) thing of trying to educate first, but Fuentes was resistant to it in a reflexive way, not a smart way. Their final determination that he was a problem was sadly correct, IMO. There is a very clear line between being a determined Holocaust historical realist, and being a stubborn even if lightweight denier. Fuentes strikes me as the latter.
Giving certain logical, honest, and frankly easy assurances to Jews isn’t a sign of conservative weakness, IMO – any more than the baseline assurances that any other group normally seeks. The needed statement “Hitler was bad for everybody” isn’t hard, and leaves a lot of room, even for some pretty smelly antisemitism. I think Fuentes’ innate hesitation to even nod to such things, just shows a problematic reflex.
Throwing Tucker Carlson in with Fuentes, however, is wrong and off-base, IMO. That’s an unnecessary rake-step by conservative friends of Jews and Israel, IMO. Tucker performed an amazing service here – not be sending Fuentes crashing through thin ice, but by showing us how Fuentes performs on it, concealing (for the most part) his hard-to-see, but critical and deadly faults.
Tucker’s problem is different, and well within the laxity that I have always given to other conservatives – including Mark Levin, and even the lighter members of the National Review of Neocons who “stood against Trump”, like idiots.

Tucker Carlson is insidious, in my opinion. His manner of journalism pisses me off. I think he is always playing a role, and thus lying. I find him inauthentic.
He’s like this guy Steve I used to know. I worked for his brother Mike, who was a straight-up asshole. But the guy, Steve, well he was another kettle of fish. People thought he was a “nice guy,” but he was always playing a role. And I saw right through it. I didn’t like either one of them, but I preferred the asshole everyone could see coming, as opposed to “Mr. Nice Guy” who everybody eventually found out about.
I don’t like Mark Levin, either. But he’s the asshole you can see coming. He’s blatant and right out there about being a jerk. Carlson is smoother, but underneath…
Never forget that email stating how much he hated Trump’s guts. And then this later photo. ROLE PLAYING.
Tucker makes some interesting comments about reconciliation with others, that kinda match what you’re saying. It sounds like other people fall in an out of his momentary favor, on a day-to-day basis, and (e.g., a “Christian Zionist” like Pa Huckabee) might be “love that guy” one day and “I hate them so bad” the next day.
I’m pretty inert to such behavior – not really sure why – but I get why others are not. There are some aspects of Christ that I have more difficulty following, like a tendency toward speech which defiles me, but toleration of denial is a skill with which I am truly blessed. People can deny me 3 times 77 times, and I DGAF – I’m still gonna give ’em a hug!
What you are describing in your first paragraph just screams unstable borderline personality to me. Maybe that’s why I don’t like him. I’ve had enough of that kind of person to last several lifetimes!

A critical mount that kept the left engine attached to the UPS flight that crashed in Louisville earlier this month failed only moments after the doomed flight broke ground, according to a new report from the National Transportation Safety Board
The report includes stunning frame-by-frame photos of the left engine of three-engined McDonnell Douglas MD-11F separating from the plane and going up and over the wing and igniting a fireball seen in a sequence of six extraordinary new images obtained by investigators.
The three pilots of UPS flight 2976 and 11 people on the ground were killed when the beleaguered jet sliced a half-mile long debris field across a petroleum recycling facility and UPS warehouse, setting off a massive blaze of fire and black smoke visible for miles.
The report highlights fatigue cracks found in the hardware attaching the engine to the wing and symptoms of over-stressing, but more is still to come as the agency conducts its full investigation.
The UPS freighter was a 34-year-old jet and had been in the process of being phased out by the cargo carrier.
The Federal Aviation Administration ultimately grounded all MD-11 and MD-11F aircraft until each underwent a thorough inspection. UPS has 26 other MD-11s in their fleet, a company spokesperson told CNN.
The engine and other faulty parts
Investigators who combed the runway shortly after the crash said they recovered and cleaned hardware from the scene—a pair structural fittings which kept the engine pylon snug to the wing. The fittings—known as lugs—showed signs of fatigue cracking and over-stressing, evidenced by “their 2 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions,” investigators said.

It’s at times like this that I both highly value and fret for our friend FG&C. The UPS pilots didn’t deserve any of this, and nothing that they could do would make it any less worse. No level of experience can save you when your airplane is disintegrating to this extent.
The “Meet Kevin” video talked about the experience of the pilots, they were all three highly experienced with many thousands of hours each.
Going from memory, I think one had 6,000+ hours, one had 9,000+ hours and one had 13,000+ hours.
There was nothing they could do.

Interesting story from today. A guy booked a birthday. He mentioned a fellow worker driving a cement truck was witness to someone in a truck getting out and threatening another driver with a gun.
Has not made the news yet that I can find.
my son’s best friend since grade school saved his money and bought his own truck out of high school. He’s been in the business for over 20 years. 3 years ago, he parked his truck/rig at a truck stop and when he came out, a man screamed at him and he barely understood him–not speaking English apparently. The guy pulled out a HAMMER and struck him repeatedly in the head. Put him the hospital. The cop came in to talk to him said the guy was screaming in Spanish for everyone to hear him “he parked too close to my truck”…and apparently that justified almost killing my son’s friend.
My friend worked at a truckstop in Iowa last year. She said they were HORRIBLE. Most were India Indian (Probably Muslime Pakistani) and VERY disrespectful of women.
this is not a recent problem. it’s been festering for a lot longer than that.

But now The Telegraph can reveal the entire 28-point plan put forward by Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine.
The deal in full1. Ukraine’s sovereignty will be confirmed.
2. A comprehensive [sic] and comprehensive non-aggression agreement will be concluded between Russia, Ukraine and Europe. All ambiguities of the last 30 years will be considered settled.
3. It is expected that Russia will not invade neighbouring countries and NATO will not expand further.
4. A dialogue will be held between Russia and NATO, mediated by the United States, to resolve all security issues and create conditions for de-escalation in order to ensure global security and increase opportunities for cooperation and future economic development.
5. Ukraine will receive reliable security guarantees.
6. The size of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be limited to 600,000 personnel.
7. Ukraine agrees to enshrine in its constitution that it will not join NATO, and NATO agrees to include in its statutes a provision that Ukraine will not be admitted in the future.
8. NATO agrees not to station troops in Ukraine.
9. European fighter jets will be stationed in Poland.
10. US guarantee:
▪️ The US will receive compensation for the guarantee.
▪️ If Ukraine invades Russia, it will lose the guarantee.
▪️ If Russia invades Ukraine, in addition to a decisive coordinated military response, all global sanctions will be reinstated, recognition of the new territory and all other benefits of this deal will be revoked.
▪️ If Ukraine launches a missile at Moscow or St. Petersburg without cause, the security guarantee will be deemed invalid.
11. Ukraine is eligible for EU membership and will receive short-term preferential access to the European market while this issue is being considered.
12. A powerful global package of measures to rebuild Ukraine, including but not limited to:
a. The creation of a Ukraine Development Fund to invest in fast-growing industries, including technology, data centres, and artificial intelligence.
b. The United States will cooperate with Ukraine to jointly rebuild, develop, modernise, and operate Ukraine’s gas infrastructure, including pipelines and storage facilities.
c. Joint efforts to rehabilitate war-affected areas for the restoration, reconstruction and modernisation of cities and residential areas.
d. Infrastructure development.
e. Extraction of minerals and natural resources.
f. The World Bank will develop a special financing package to accelerate these efforts.
13. Russia will be reintegrated into the global economy:
a. The lifting of sanctions will be discussed and agreed upon in stages and on a case-by-case basis.
b. The United States will enter into a long-term economic cooperation agreement for mutual development in the areas of energy, natural resources, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, data centres, rare earth metal extraction projects in the Arctic, and other mutually beneficial corporate opportunities.
c. Russia will be invited to rejoin the G8.
14. Frozen funds will be used as follows:
$100 billion in frozen Russian assets will be invested in US-led efforts to rebuild and invest in Ukraine. The US will receive 50% of the profits from this venture. Europe will add $100 billion to increase the amount of investment available for Ukraine’s reconstruction. Frozen European funds will be unfrozen. The remainder of the frozen Russian funds will be invested in a separate US-Russian investment vehicle that will implement joint projects in specific areas. This fund will be aimed at strengthening relations and increasing common interests to create a strong incentive not to return to conflict.
15. A joint American-Russian working group on security issues will be established to promote and ensure compliance with all provisions of this agreement.
16. Russia will enshrine in law its policy of non-aggression towards Europe and Ukraine.
17. The United States and Russia will agree to extend the validity of treaties on the non-proliferation and control of nuclear weapons, including the START I Treaty.
18. Ukraine agrees to be a non-nuclear state in accordance with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
19. The Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant will be launched under the supervision of the IAEA, and the electricity produced will be distributed equally between Russia and Ukraine — 50:50.
20. Both countries undertake to implement educational programmes in schools and society aimed at promoting understanding and tolerance of different cultures and eliminating racism and prejudice:
a. Ukraine will adopt EU rules on religious tolerance and the protection of linguistic minorities.
b. Both countries will agree to abolish all discriminatory measures and guarantee the rights of Ukrainian and Russian media and education.
c. All Nazi ideology and activities must be rejected and prohibited.
21. Territories:
a. Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk will be recognised as de facto Russian, including by the United States.
b. Kherson and Zaporizhzhia will be frozen along the line of contact, which will mean de facto recognition along the line of contact.
c. Russia will relinquish other agreed territories it controls outside the five regions.
d. Ukrainian forces will withdraw from the part of Donetsk Oblast that they currently control, and this withdrawal zone will be considered a neutral demilitarised buffer zone, internationally recognised as territory belonging to the Russian Federation. Russian forces will not enter this demilitarised zone.
22. After agreeing on future territorial arrangements, both the Russian Federation and Ukraine undertake not to change these arrangements by force. Any security guarantees will not apply in the event of a breach of this commitment.
23. Russia will not prevent Ukraine from using the Dnieper River for commercial activities, and agreements will be reached on the free transport of grain across the Black Sea.
24. A humanitarian committee will be established to resolve outstanding issues:
a. All remaining prisoners and bodies will be exchanged on an ‘all for all’ basis.
b. All civilian detainees and hostages will be returned, including children.
c. A family reunification programme will be implemented.
d. Measures will be taken to alleviate the suffering of the victims of the conflict.
25. Ukraine will hold elections in 100 days.
26. All parties involved in this conflict will receive full amnesty for their actions during the war and agree not to make any claims or consider any complaints in the future.
27. This agreement will be legally binding. Its implementation will be monitored and guaranteed by the Peace Council, headed by President Donald J. Trump. Sanctions will be imposed for violations.
28. Once all parties agree to this memorandum, the ceasefire will take effect immediately after both sides retreat to agreed points to begin implementation of the agreement.

I would not have had a problem with our side telling the military they do not have to obey unlawful and unconstitutional orders if we also named the orders. (An example: helping people enter the country illegally, which was not an order given to the military, to my knowledge. It’s just an example.)
