Dear MAGA: 20260122 ✾ Thank God ± Theistic Evolution ∈ Thursday Open Topic

This man, making Christmas calls from the White House, believes the world is a sphere. And he has even flown around it! So has our beautiful FLOTUS, who happens to be his wife!

Truth and common sense must be valued by us, as individuals, in order to lastingly disempower the authoritarian fake news media. This includes the perniciously smarmy science media, which never answers for its errors and lies. I believe that the media has been responsible not only for leftist pathologies like scientism, medical fascism, and radical gender ideology, but also for reactionary movements like modern flat Earth, rejection of all medicine, and Biblical geological literalism.

Just as Wheatie’s Stormwatch Monday Open Thread was created as a place for people to openly express their thoughts and opinions, so, too, is this Thank God Thursday Open Thread, where honest but civil discussion of all topics is encouraged. This thread is also to be known as Theistic Evolution Thursdays, due to the author’s expected “pontification” about his scientific, religious, and political opinions. You are welcome to pontificate back! Free speech matters!

Please label all AI-generated content as being such, unless it is patently obvious (e.g., humorous AI images). It is important that we as individuals not begin to pretend that socially derived artificial intelligence is actually our own, as this form of stealthy social information averaging and feedback would be one more pretense and deception between people, in service of stupid Marxist socialism, and of those who wish to substitute their communally protected lies for actual truth.

The source of alleged truth matters, not for the truth itself, but for validation.

And yes, it’s THURSDAY…again.

And that’s it. We’re done stealing from Wheatie.

OK – maybe her rules need to be posted.

  • No food fights.
  • No running with scissors.
  • If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Other rules may be derivable from these, and that conjecture is left for discussion.

If there is nothing beyond the “W” below, then this is a placeholder. For health reasons, I can’t always post a timely opinion before each Thursday, but I will try. Otherwise, you have this placeholder post, where YOU provide the content. Enjoy!

Thursday’s video entertainment is here!

(1) Anybody else here a fan of OLD CALIBERS? You’ll enjoy OLD (30-30) vs. OLDER (45-70) – but in nice, new, modern lever actions!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ic5JaDsW1P0

Sorry – video would not embed.

(2) The “Roman” Dodecahedron – a strange mystery you probably never heard about. Until now. Is it solved? Well, you be the judge.

(3) Men and women. Again. You may or may not agree with this guy, but I personally wish I would have heard his analysis of women (and men) when I was a teenager. Don’t worry if you agree or disagree – but your response is welcome. Thanks to one of y’all for introducing me to this dude.

(4)

I hate to say it, but AI does a pretty good job here, of explaining in an understandable way, the mainstream, accepted, establishment science of magnetism, at a graduate school level.

Fake voice, fake character, but real science – minus the numbers. It actually helped me see a few points better.

Don’t give too much credit to the AI – instead, give credit to the books and authors that the AI training algorithmically plagiarized.

(5) Pokeweed – it’s just interesting, whether you’re an herbalist, a chemist, or just somebody with a lawn next to “stuff” that makes “other stuff” want to take over.

Have a great weekend!

Just from the headline, that’s just peachy. 😅 It might be a good thing for our side.

I had no idea Massie’s had remarried. His new young wife was a Rand Paul staffer.

His bizarre ugly turn politically is in perfect timing with when he hooked up with her after his first wife died. Even his physical appearance changed.

Who knew that grieving a dead spouse had such weird side effects.

This is 🔥🔥🔥👍🏼🇺🇸

The Climate Hoax was created by the WEF Losers and President Trump just called them out to their faces.

“The United States avoided the catastrophic energy collapse which failed every European Nation that pursued the Green New Scam…perhaps the greatest hoax in History…”

DHS website traffic surges 68% as thousands use Trump’s self-deportation app for voluntary departure

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed record website traffic to the agency’s official site, with one of the most visited pages on the site including information on self-deportation through the CBP Home App.

DHS reported a 68.49% increase in traffic from 2024. The department reports that its website received 102 million page views last year and 67 million unique visitors — an increase from 40 million page views in 2024.

…The agency is also planning to launch a new website that will enhance transparency about DHS and ease navigation.

…The CPB Home App is a mobile application that allows users who are in the U.S. illegally to self-deport. The app launched last March under the second Trump administration.

DHS has reported that tens of thousands of illegal migrants have used the app to self-deport. The agency also pays a $1,000 stipend to individuals who successfully self-deport, as well as “financial and travel assistance to facilitate travel back to their home country.”

The agency has rolled out several new features as a means of communicating with the public, including the “Worst of the Worst” website, which highlights the most dangerous illegal migrants that the agency apprehends.

The “Worst of the Worst” site includes rapists, murderers, child predators and other illegal migrants who were convicted or faced charges in the U.S.

The new look and record traffic to the website comes as the agency touted historic numbers in the first year of the second Trump administration.

“In President Trump’s first year back in office, nearly 3 million illegal aliens have left the U.S. because of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration, including an estimated 2.2 million self-deportations and more than 675,000 deportations,” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement.

The agency says that U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) apprehensions over the past 12 months were the lowest in USBP history, and the total number of apprehensions over the past year were less than the average monthly apprehensions during the Biden administration.

“In the last year, fentanyl trafficking at the southern border has also been cut by more than half compared to the same period in 2024,” Noem added. “The U.S. Coast Guard alone seized enough cocaine to kill more than 177 million Americans.”

“Meanwhile, we have saved taxpayers more than $13.2 billion here at DHS,” Noem continued.

They should get the device ID and location data of every alien invader who clicks on that website and go bag and tag ’em for deportation.

pgroup2

What are you – the Prince of Procedure?

Why on earth would we do anything to delay their departure?

Deportation is not the same as Removal. Deportation is shorthand for the admin proceedings that can result in an order of deportation. Removal is a state of being ordered to leave where there is no option to re-enter the admin process.

Byron York nails Trump’s Greenland play: Classic Art of the Deal!

“He asks for ten times what he wants, the other side freaks out, huge news cycle, back & forth, then they settle for what they could’ve had day one.”

Trump always wins!

TheseTruths

I agree. That describes one facet of how Trump operates, but it’s too simplistic to think that is everything.

Nicholas Hulcher, MPH:

BREAKING: American Academy of Pediatrics SLAMMED With Federal RICO Lawsuit for Vaccine Safety Fraud

AAP accused of operating a decades-long racketeering scheme that deceived America about vaccine safety for maximum profit.

Children’s Health Defense and multiple plaintiffs just filed a federal RICO fraud case against the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

This isn’t a policy dispute. It’s an organized fraud allegation—using the same legal framework that took down Big Tobacco.

The lawsuit alleges the AAP helped manufacture false certainty that the CDC childhood vaccine schedule is thoroughly tested and safe.

It highlights the lack of proper vaccinated vs. unvaccinated safety comparisons for the cumulative schedule, despite repeated calls for more research.

Plaintiffs argue the AAP relied on theoretical talking points, not rigorous real-world safety validation, to shut down scrutiny.

Physicians allege they were professionally targeted and financially harmed for deviating from AAP protocols or questioning vaccine safety claims.

Families allege severe injury and death following routine vaccination—and claim medical judgment was overridden by rigid “standard of care” enforcement.

The complaint raises major conflict-of-interest concerns, including industry money and incentive structures tied to high vaccination rates.

Plaintiffs are seeking damages, forced disclosure of safety-testing gaps, and an end to blanket “safe and effective” assurances without qualification.

For years, parents were told to “trust the experts,” while legitimate safety questions were mocked, censored, or punished.

Now those questions are headed to the one place the system can’t silence them with talking points: federal court.
