Apparently, the reason it didn’t launch last week (or whenever it was), was due to weather.
Not because it can’t launch in bad weather, they expect it (and test for it) to be able to launch under conditions (lighting, rain, etc.) that any commercial passenger plane would fly in, because they expect to launch with such frequency (several times a week or more) that they can’t shut down every time there’s a cloud in the sky.
BUT, for purposes of their testing, they need clear skies to get clear camera views of the heat shield and other parts of the rocket.

The FDA knew, all the way back on 21 January 2021, when the Pharmacokinetics reports was given to the agency by Pfizer-BioNTech, that BNT162b2 (now COMIRNATY) is dangerous. But the FDA did NOT STOP the EUA that was granted for BNT162b2 in December 2020. In fact, the FDA fully approved of BNT162b2 (under the brand name COMIRNATY) on 23 August 2021. And the agency has continued its approval for COMIRNATY since then.
Janet Woodcock, MD, was the Acting Commissioner of the FDA from 20 January 2021 to 17 February 2022. She needs to be, IMO, arrested and charged with aiding and abetting the mass injury and/or murder of millions of Americans via the BNT162b2 (COMIRNATY) injections that they had put into their bodies — injections that were granted, first, Emergency Use Authorization, then Full Approval, by the FDA during her tenure there.

The Anoka County, Minnesota Sheriff Brad Wise signed a $174,999 contract to spend taxpayer dollars with Flock in order to put cameras up across the county that will track every citizen without their consent.

we have an almost white young skunk hanging around the lower section of the yard. Last year we spotted a larger one behind the wood shed–but only once and the pictures we took just looked like a white fluffy ball. This is definitely a much smaller one–still looks like a white fluffy ball. The deer were not phased by it.

in all the years we’ve been here, we rarely see any skunks except on the trail cams. we’ve smelled them a couple of times too, but they like the ground nesting bees, so we’re glad they’re here.

On the rural Virginia mountain, about halfway up, I smelled skunk at my place ones in 15 years.

The Fiancee’s sister lives just up the road in Fremont. She fosters dogs.
One time, a foster managed to catch a skunk. Had it grasped in its jaws crossways, so the head stuck out one side and the business end stuck out the other. Then the foster decided to parade around with it to show off his accomplishment…..with the business end pointed towards the house. Just about squeezed it dry. The entire back side of the house was drenched.
Oh my. I bet that took about Forever for that smell to go away!
My experience driving at night up S.R. 99 in California is that distance doesn’t stop the smell. It only prevents you from being mistaken for a skunk.

I actually had a skunk walk right up to me.
I rented 1/2 a house. The garage was divided by a few 4 ft X 8 ft plywood boards. The other tenant was lazy and just piled their garbage bags in the garage. LOTS of bags. So a skunk had taken up residence. I was going to use a bit of ammonia to see if I could get the skunk to move house. Instead the skunk walked right up to me and smelled the bottle.
Oh, well. after that I gave up since it never offered to spray. (They make nice pets. A friend had a de-scented one.)
Yes, baby skunks will walk right up to me in the yard.
They are rather friendly. It was the Fox that freaked me out. She had been eating with the cats on the porch. I opened the door one day and she just stared at me. I shut the door.😄 Then a bit later she started walking up to me.

It’s likely selected for that babies are more white – more striking – more of a warning (and kind of a BLUFF, too, because baby spray is weaker and there is less of it).

the other one we saw last year was quite a bit bigger and mostly white except for the undercarriage as well.
That makes lots of sense.. They have long “baby fur” that goes away – an easy way to pull off that trick.

“Detectives from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested five teens from the Washington D.C. area for conspiring to steal merchandise from the 7-Eleven store at 3141 Ronald Reagan Parkway in Davenport.
The teens are members of Run it Up, a travel basketball program affiliated with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). Their team is in the area to participate in the Puma NXTPro basketball tournament and they were staying at a Solterra Resorts vacation rental which is less than a mile from the store.
The theft occurred on July 23, 2026 at around 4:10 am.
The suspects concealed merchandise such as Doritos, gummies, Starburst Minis, a Big Mama sausage, lemonade, and grape and orange Slurpees. The total value of the theft was $37.60.
A clerk confronted the suspects about the thefts and they fled the store.
PCSO deputies responded to the area and located three of the suspects near the entrance to Solterra after they placed the stolen goods into a backpack and hid it in the bushes.

As an important step in becoming a doctor, medical students must take the Hippocratic Oath. And one of the promises within that oath is “first, do no harm” (or “primum non nocere,” the Latin translation from the original Greek.)
Right?
Wrong.
While some medical schools ask their graduates to abide by the Hippocratic Oath, others use a different pledge — or none at all. And in fact, although “first, do no harm” is attributed to the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates, it isn’t a part of the Hippocratic Oath at all. It is actually from another of his works called Of the Epidemics.
So why the confusion?
Admittedly, there is similar language found in both places. For example, here’s a line from one translation of the Hippocratic Oath:
“I will follow that system of regimen which, according to my ability and judgment, I consider for the benefit of my patients, and abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous.”
Yes, the pledger commits to avoiding harm, but there’s nothing about making it a top priority. Meanwhile, Of the Epidemics says “The physician must be able to tell the antecedents, know the present, and foretell the future — must mediate these things, and have two special objects in view with regard to disease, namely, to do good or to do no harm.”
Again, there is no clear priority given to the avoidance of harm over the goal of providing help.
Is “first, do no harm” even possible?
The idea that doctors should, as a starting point, not harm their patients is an appealing one. But doesn’t that set the bar rather low? Of course no physician should set out to do something that will only be accompanied by predictable and preventable harm. We don’t need an ancient ancestor, however well-respected, or an oath to convince us of that!
But if physicians took “first, do no harm” literally, no one would have surgery, even if it was lifesaving. We might stop ordering mammograms, because they could lead to a biopsy for a non-cancerous lump. In fact, we might not even request blood tests — the pain, bruising, or bleeding required to draw blood are clearly avoidable harms.
But doctors do recommend these things within the bounds of ethical practice because the modern interpretation of “first, do no harm” is closer to this: doctors should help their patients as much as they can by recommending tests or treatments for which the potential benefits outweigh the risks of harm. Even so, in reality, the principle of “first, do no harm” may be less helpful — and less practical — than you might think.
How practical is “first, do no harm”?
Imagine the following situations:
• Your diagnosis is clear — say, strep throat — and there’s an effective treatment available that carries only minor risks. Here, “first, do no harm” is not particularly relevant or useful.
• Your diagnosis isn’t clear and the optimal course of testing or treatment is uncertain — for example, you have back pain or suffer from headaches. It may be impossible to accurately compare the risk and benefit tradeoffs of one particular course of action against another. So you can’t tell ahead of time whether a test or treatment will “do no harm.”
• Your diagnosis is serious — for example, an inoperable cancer — and treatment can only cause harm. Here, the “first, do no harm” mandate is irrelevant again. The only reasonable course of care is to offer comfort, support, and relief of suffering. This is already a guiding principle of palliative care and is widely accepted.
The bottom line
The fact is that when difficult, real-time decisions must be made, it’s hard to apply the “first, do no harm” dictum because estimates of risk and benefit are so uncertain and prone to error.
But it is a reminder that we need high-quality research to help us better understand the balance of risk and benefit for the tests and treatments we recommend. Ultimately, it is also a reminder that doctors should neither overestimate their capacity to heal, nor underestimate their capacity to cause harm.”

Why haven’t the COVID-19 modRNA bioweapon “vaccines” been pulled off the market?
Several reasons, IMO:
One: HHS is owned by Big Pharma. Recall that “sweetheart deal” that PfizerUSA (Albert Bourla, DVM, CEO) got from the White House last fall.
Two: HHS Sec. Kennedy, Jr., has been muzzled. His attempts to drop the old CDC Childhood and Adolescent Immunization Schedule was shot down by the lawsuit filed against HHS by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) earlier this year. Federal Judge Brian E. Murphy, as part of his “ruling” in the case, threw out the new CDC immunization schedule that HHS Sec. Kennedy, Jr., had put in place, and RE-INSTITUTED THE OLD CDC SCHEDULE, the one that puts up to 72 “vaccine” injections into children up to age 18.
Three: It appears that HHS Sec. Kennedy’s hands are tied due to the extension of the PREP Act COVID-19 Countermeasures that former HHS Sec. Becerra signed in December 2024.
Four: DARPA, the United States military, and other such agencies / departments, are heavily involved in keeping the development and implementation of the COVID-19 modRNA bioweapon “vaccines” going.
Five: IMO, the groundwork is being laid for the potential for the DemCommunists to retake both houses of Congress AND the White House in the 2028 election. This will result in the potential for the COVID-19 bioweapon “vaccines” to again be “mandated” for general use.

I would agree that Sophie is probably more classically beautiful than Sydney, but in this picture, the difference strikes me as greater because of Sydney’s sunglasses. I think Sydney’s eyes are one of her best features, and those glasses are not exactly helping.
That’s funny, because her eyes are a big part of what I don’t think is particularly attractive.

My parents had a lady scientist friend (degree from an elite university, even) who had a very blue collar husband – one of the oddest and most successful marriages we knew. Number one thing – she respected her husband. And he deserved it, because he was a good guy, hard worker, faithful, honest – every virtue one could ask for. She was tall, but he was taller – I guess that was part of the “normal” deal, perhaps. But there was no bitching or bossiness from her – they both made money, but she made more.
Come to think of it, I knew another couple like that, more my age. I think she was taller, too! But they were both smart, and definitely not idiots like these bird-hands delusion chicks.

Most women have no respect (and therefore no attraction) for a man who makes less money than she does, in the same way most women are not attracted to a man who is shorter than she is.
There are always going to be exceptions of course, but it clearly holds for the majority.

And that’s the problem.
Women are naturally attracted to men who make more money and have higher social status than they do.
So if women succeed in manipulating society into paying women more than men, they’ve just created for themselves a Catch-22.
If society mandates through law, custom, social programs (D.E.I., affirmative action, etc.) that women must earn as much as men, those same women will also exclude all men who don’t make more than themselves from their potential dating pool.
And so long as even one man makes more than women, they will never stop pushing for mo money.
And now that we’ve gone overboard — which was entirely predictable, when you incentivize something with the full force of government, academia and business, and have no brakes to ever slow it down, effectively ramping it to infinity — there is a larger and larger percentage of the female population chasing a smaller and smaller percentage of the male population.
Interesting way to slow down population growth.
Fake Entertainment is deadly. It is a bunch of people VERY unlike us, telling us what is good, what is normal, what is real, and what is admirable. And, to a large extent, it is designed to destroy American society. But it’s failure is happening fast, thank goodness.
