Yours Truly was put on this SSRI in February 2019, after being diagnosed with PTSD (Post-Traumatic [or, Posttraumatic] Stress Disorder) following the death of my late husband. Literally every organ or function of the human body is interfered with, and/or could be damaged by, paroxetine use. How can any of this be described as “fewer and milder” side effects?

Yours Truly was fortunate so have been able to get the taper down – wean off – discontinue process successfully completed (as regards stopping the taking of paroxetine) in about six months. However, the “wiring” of one’s brain to accept this SSRI and allow it to operate within the brain began in early 2019, when I was put on the drug by the PCP after diagnosis of PTSD. Thus, even with the discontinuation of the physical process of taking the drug, the “rewiring” of the brain back to pre-use of the drug is ongoing. Eating more green vegetables
Journaling — meditating — connecting with the Divine
Getting out and doing things — being with family; walking the dog; working in the yard
Reducing / eliminating stressors to the extent possible
Attitude — one is absolutely determined to “rewire” the brain back to pre-SSRI

Yours Truly does not fault the physician who started one on paroxetine in early 2019, nor the physician-therapist who continued the drug until I had had enough of the side effects by September 2024 and requested to go through the process to taper down — wean off — discontinue the drug. They were following conventional medical “recommendations.” However, Yours Truly, by the late summer of 2024, had also done enough research to understand that SSRIs are dangerous and addictive, that the decision to request going through the process was what had to be done. How many people taking SSRIs do the research necessary to understand what these drugs are doing to their bodies and their brains? Why don’t physicians who prescribe SSRIs (or, indeed, any psychotropic drug) caution the patient that there are multiple and potentially serious side effects and/or adverse reactions to these drugs? Why don’t physicians make it their business to ensure that, unless there is clear indication that the patient needs a higher dose, to start the patient on the lowest possible dose of an SSRI, and at the the first indication that the patient is having real trouble with side effects and/or adverse reactions, to begin the process of taper down — wean off — discontinue the drug; while, at the same time, ensuring that the patient starts or continues therapeutic counseling and healthy lifestyle changes? Similarly, why don’t physicians make it their business to ensure that, there is clear indication that the patient needs a higher dose of an SSRI drug, to start and keep the patient on the lowest possible dose?
The human gut is where over 90% of the body’s serotonin is produced. The human brain produces 10% or less of the body’s serotonin. Because of the “gut-brain axis” system in the body, serotonin produced in the gut “travels” to the brain via the bloodstream. Why aren’t physicians trained in the nutritional knowledge necessary to counsel patients with emotional/psychological issues to eat foods that would assist in proper and healthy serotonin production — foods such as, salmon, eggs, cheese, nuts, and turkey? Why don’t physicians realize that taking SSRI drugs actually block the normal “gut-brain axis travel” of serotonin to the brain — leaving the brain with only a small amount of serotonin; and which low level of serotonin is targeted by SSRI drugs? [12]
Yes, there are circumstances in which a physician makes the decision that the emotional/psychological issues of the patient warrant the need for that patient to take an SSRI. However, Yours Truly believes that, in addition to the SSRI, the patient needs to be counseled to eat foods that will help the gut produce healthy serotonin in proper amounts, to get out into the sunshine, to move their body, to get restful sleep, to have therapeutic psychological counseling if necessary; and, to understand that what they’re experiencing isn’t just “all in their head” — it’s also “that gut feeling.”

It is the doctrine needed when one is not merely imprisoned unlawfully, but prosecuted by a tribunal that may be a simulation — an administrative artefact, a misfire of naming, a court that exists nowhere in law. False imprisonment has a centuries-old writ; false adjudication does not.

She is the one who put out the Taylor Swift’s Nightmare reading assignment for a class play. The one that had the tranny on the front cover with his junk showing through his dress. The same witch that said #1 was three years behind in his classes. She was the final straw that led to homeschooling. Also, that same kid that is making A’s at grade level while taking honors level Social Studies with a high academics home school curriculum some three years later.

I battled teachers for years over my children. My kids were not the kind to take injustice lying down (gee, wonder where they got that?), and teachers were always calling me because one of my kids challenged “their authority” somehow. The teachers were usually surprised when they didn’t find an ally, but someone who explained to them that they were in the wrong and how. A couple of teachers were fired because of my kids and me. And they needed to be.
And, of course, there are the other horrors of people who should have been lifted out of the shithole and were instead abandoned.

I’ve watched part of this, and this is just my observation, so people, don’t take it the wrong way. 🙂 So far it’s a litany of Gen. Flynn saying, “Here’s what Pres. Trump needs to do. He needs to…” over and over. (“He needs to address the American people” on a specific date “and say specifically this,” etc.) I think Gen. Flynn is someone whose voice needs to be heard, but it rankles when someone constantly tells Pres. Trump what to do.
For me, there are two sides to the coin: people on the inside and people on the outside. Most patriots think they know what needs to be done, while most don’t have a clue what is being done, the history and present state of operations, the intelligence that is known, the strategy that is being used, etc. Some higher-up patriots like Gen. Flynn no doubt know more than we do, but even he is not privy to the inner workings of the administration, to my knowledge. And I can’t help but think that the attitude of “Trump should do this” is what has caused a number of people to be ousted from the inner circle. Yet those voices should not be discarded out of hand.
IMO there is a delicate balance between heeding voices like Flynn’s and taking recommendations that are helpful while discounting some that might not work. I don’t see value in Flynn spouting off his ideas as if they are THE solution. He could frame them differently, as in, “Here’s what I would do.” I would go so far as to say, “Here’s what I would do if my ideas about the current situation and administration are correct,” but that includes a level of uncertainty in which some who are accustomed to command won’t engage. And to me, that is the crux. Too many chefs in the kitchen and too few food workers, even if the “food workers” are valuable assets, some of whose ideas are worthy of attention.
I also have a bit of a problem with General Flynn. I think he is a terrible speaker. I found the discussion afterwards by Alpha and Josh much more useful.
We certainly need to know the USA is under attack. And we also need to put pressure on DC. As Josh points out later, We the People (MAGA) are disorganized (compared to the DemonRats) and thus have very very little clout.
The DC lobbyists represent International corporations, Financial interests, Unions… They DO NOT represent us, the
little peopleserfs. As I have noted before. When the Tea Party formed the Chamber of Commerce moved to DESTROY US.I think developing CLOUT and dodging the psy-ops aimed at MAGA is the important message.
I’m looking forward to getting to that part. So much information is being revealed, and these days it sometimes comes out immediately after the Left pulls one of its tricks (like the organization that is behind the Seditious Six). I hope information will be able to penetrate beyond the patriot community.

Flynn points out that the president is the only one whose oath of office includes the word “preserve” That word is not present in Congressional oaths or even in the VP’s oath.
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
At about the 52-second mark Flynn overtly criticizes Pres. Trump and says he disagrees with him on a lot of things. We are all free to disagree, but to promote one’s own ideas over the president’s when one has no idea what is going on behind the scenes is irresponsible at best and could look like someone who is trying to divide the base. He wants Pres. Trump to go scorched earth (my term) without taking into account the potential consequences, which I think should be a factor in decision making.
I’m not saying Flynn is trying to do that, but he comes across as a loose cannon who I’m glad is not in charge because I question his judgment, not only in his proposed strategy but also to come across as knowing better than the president.
At 57-ish – Flynn says that there is no “5-D chess” and that there’s something wrong with the DOJ only going after Comey for a perjury charge. He even admits that Stephen Miller used the term “conspiracy” when talking about the Seditious Six, but Flynn feels the need to tell us that a conspiracy would be much bigger than with just those people (to which I say, “duh.”) There has been a lot of discussion about how the statute of limitations would not have run out on conspiracy because it is still ongoing, and of possible conspiracy charges to come. Yet Flynn has to tell us there’s something wrong, not only with the DOJ, but with Pres. Trump.
I’m taken aback by what he is saying. It’s like watching a movie where one guy goes off on the commander and causes all kinds of trouble. My radar about Flynn is on high alert. It would not surprise me if he has presidential ambitions. Even if he doesn’t, I don’t find what he is saying to be helpful. If he were on the Left, I think most people would think he was trying to divide the MAGA base.
It has gone from “Trump needs to” to “Trump shoulda.” I have lost any respect I might have had for Flynn. He can disagree or think he has better ideas without saying things in the ways that he does and without going to these lengths.
I am more interested in Flynn’s knowledge of the Deep State than in his advice to POTUS Trump.
I certainly would not consider him for a public office. As I said he is a rotten speaker.
I don’t trust his judgment on anything at this point. We are all upset about the Seditious Six, but Flynn spent roughly an hour tearing down Pres. Trump and his administration. He didn’t tell people to disobey orders, but he is retired military and some might listen to him and his negativity and lack of faith. He is sowing seeds of doubt, IMO, not like the Seditious Six, but in other ways.
I don’t know who he is working for. Maybe just himself.
I agree about not considering him for public office.
Always remember, never drop your guard for a moment; Flynn is a spook. Once in, never out. He and his ilk are not to be trusted.

(The appointment was in February and I was tired of the snow and lack of sunshine.) I’m not depressed at all or all the time.

I put out sunflower seeds for the chickadees and nuthatches and juncos. then once i hear the bluejays calling from the trees, I put out peanuts on the railings for them. if they’re not quick, the chickadees and nuthatches steal them.
Me too pat! Just filled all the feeders and the suet holder. Next up a walk out back to look for fresh tracks in the snow.
my father in law passed his love of feeding the birds onto me. I feed the orioles jelly in the spring and I put out bits of yarn for them to weave nests. This spring, i put out bright pink yarn so i see where the nest was–she made it right outside the window where i sit! But surprise! After the leaves fell, I spotted a second nest in a tree–so 2 orioles were taking the yarn. I plan on using a different colored yarn next spring.
(Btw…in all the tremendous winds we had recently? neither nest came apart–they are both still there woven onto their branches!)

just this past summer a mom rabbit and a bunny adopted the wood shed.
One year I found multiple headless rabbits at the pond. Did some reading and discovered owls eat the heads for the brain matter which is full of high energy nutrients.
oh my! we DO have lotsa of owls…but i’ve never found a headless rabbit. on the other hand have heard a lot of coyotes–maybe they got them afterwards.
We had a snowy owl one winter and we have barred owls.
We have tall grass and woods so we have a nice balance.
I too live in wind country and find oriole nests on the ground. I have a collection of them hanging in the garage. The yarn idea is wonderful and I will put some out next spring.
I am a slave to my feeders, especially the oriole feeders which I fill multiple times a day after the apple blossoms are gone. My feeders are popular with not only birds but squirrels, racoons and skunks. Lots of activity.
our woods are mostly mature trees so we have to keep our feeders on the deck–can’t reach the branches of the trees.
and we take our feeders in every night. otherwise it attracts not just raccoons but bears.
The coons steal the suet feeder and I have to hunt around for it in the morning. No bears so far!
we have bear muzzle and paw prints on one of our deck windows–standing bear! we didn’t wipe them off. tried to get photos, but they didn’t turn out as impressive as seeing the prints there.

Well that was Wednesday, she is still bleeding and can barely walk she is in so much pain. Can not get a hold of the doctor. Emergency room? Take a FUCKING Tylenol!

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 91
The safety of those who have God for their refuge. (1-8) Their favour with Him. (9-16)
1-8 He that by faith chooses God for his protector, shall find all in him that he needs or can desire. And those who have found the comfort of making the Lord their refuge, cannot but desire that others may do so. The spiritual life is protected by Divine grace from the temptations of Satan, which are as the snares of the fowler, and from the contagion of sin, which is a noisome pestilence. Great security is promised to believers in the midst of danger. Wisdom shall keep them from being afraid without cause, and faith shall keep them from being unduly afraid. Whatever is done, our heavenly Father’s will is done; and we have no reason to fear. God’s people shall see, not only God’s promises fulfilled, but his threatenings. Five Controversial Laws Go Into Effect In California In 2026
California is known for pushing hundreds of bills through its Legislature each year, but many residents don’t realize what Democratic leaders have approved until the laws take effect.
In the 2025 state legislative session, lawmakers sent 917 bills to Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who signed 794 of them. Though it’s not Newsom’s highest total, as he signed 997 in 2022, several of this year’s laws are expected to reshape policy once they roll out in 2026 and after, potentially influencing other Democrat-led states. 1. Fast-Track Caregiver Designations — AB 495
Newsom signed AB 495, the Family Preparedness Plan Act, by Assemblymember Celeste Rodriguez. The law creates a simplified, one-page affidavit allowing parents to designate a short-term caregiver, including nonrelatives, if they’re detained or deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The bill notably applies broadly, not just to children of illegal immigrants.
Rodriguez told the Daily Caller News Foundation in August the measure educates “childcare providers to prepare for ICE raids” and strengthens tools for families to maintain care arrangements during detention, deportation or hospitalization.
While Newsom’s office says the act doesn’t change who can legally become a guardian without a court order, critics argue the affidavit is too easy to misuse. According to paperwork, the affidavit requires only basic child information, a checked box confirming parent notification attempts and an ID such as a driver’s license, state ID or consular card. Republican lawmakers warned it could create “unintended consequences for sex traffickers [who] could easily exploit” its gaps.
2. California’s Glock Ban — AB 1127
Despite Glocks being among the most popular handguns sold in the state, Newsom signed AB 1127, effectively blocking Californians from buying new Glock-style pistols.
Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel and other Democrats argued the measure forces Glock to redesign certain models so they can’t be easily modified with a small plastic device known as a “Glock switch,” which can convert the firearm into a fully automatic weapon. The state says the bill targets the modification issue, not the brand.
Republicans countered that the attempt to curb illegal “switches” ends up disproportionately punishing lawful buyers, restricting access to one of the most widely used handgun platforms in the country. A gun-store owner told CBS News in October that Glock already produces newer models with built-in protections against switches, but the attorney general hasn’t approved them for sale in California, leaving buyers with no path forward.
3. ICE Alerts In Schools — SB 98
Another law hitting schools in 2026 is SB 98, drafted by Democratic state Sen. Lena González Pérez.
The measure requires K-12 schools and colleges to send out alerts anytime ICE is confirmed on campus. This will include when it happened, where it happened and links to “know your rights” resources. Every district will now have to build these procedures into its school-safety plan by March 2026.
Supporters say it’s meant to keep families from being blindsided, but critics argue it drags schools deeper into immigration politics and could stir up more fear than clarity. It’s a big shift in how districts communicate about law enforcement activity on campus.
4. Building A Reparations Eligibility System — SB 437
Despite Newsom vetoing a handful of measures and efforts to push reparations in California, the governor did end up approving Senate Bill 437, a quiet but sweeping change. The measure will directs the California State University system to develop a formal process for verifying whether someone is a descendant of enslaved African Americans. The state plans to give CSU up to $6 million to build out the research, standards and documentation needed to prove lineage, everything from genealogical tracing to how records should be evaluated when documentation is incomplete.
The law is part of California’s broader reparative-justice framework, and it essentially puts CSU in charge of creating the state’s “proof of ancestry” system. Beginning in the 2026–27 academic year, universities must start designing the methodology and reporting their progress back to the Legislature and the governor. Full implementation is expected by the 2029–30 school year, long before any future reparations program could be launched.
Supporters say SB 437 gives California a credible way to determine eligibility for possible reparations benefits. Critics, however, see it as an expensive and highly political mandate for a university system already struggling with enrollment, staffing and budget pressures. Either way, it marks one of the most concrete steps the state has taken toward building the infrastructure for a potential reparations program.
5. Seat-Belt Fit Test for Teens — AB 435
AB 435, introduced by Assemblywoman Lori Wilson, began as an effort to keep smaller teens out of the front seat and in booster seats. After internal Democratic pushback, the bill was rewritten to update how police assess whether a child can safely use a seat belt.
California already requires booster seats until age 8 or until a child reaches 4 feet 9 inches. Under the new adjustment of police standards, kids ages 8 to 16 will need to pass a five-step seat-belt fit test like checking posture, knee bend, shoulder belt placement, lap belt position and whether the child can stay seated correctly for the entire ride.
If the child fails the test and doesn’t meet the state requirement, drivers face a $490 fine and a ticket.

When Yours Truly was diagnosed with PTSD, the symptoms had been going on for several months prior. The “flashbacks” that happened during the day, the awful nightmares, about the last few months before my husband’s death, were terrible. My appetite had dwindled. Etc.
The doctor who prescribed the paroxetine for me then told me that I needed to have counseling for PTSD. I asked for a referral. The doctor said they couldn’t do that, and instead gave me a list of PTSD counseling therapists / clinics to call. Not a word about eating foods that would help my serotonin level. Not a word about getting out into the sunshine. Not a word about how I could naturally mitigate / heal the PTSD plus short-term, minimal psychotropic drug use. And so on. It took me a month to find and then begin PTSD counseling with a psychiatrist.

Let’s say “Joe Average” is taking, for example, a daily dose of 30mg of paroxetine that was prescribed by a physician because “Joe Average” was diagnosed with OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.)
After about three weeks of taking paroxetine, “Joe Average” is having nausea and loss of appetite. He goes back to the doctor and tells the doctor what is going on. Joe has already been “non-prosecuted” for being incompetent, while he was in office. That question comes back up if he is a witness again – meaning his competence comes up vis-a-vis the auto-pen validity – and they DO NOT want that.

PAVACA Thank you for sharing your journey, insights, & resources related to SSRIs.
Years ago I had a doctor offer to put me on an anti-depressant & I declined saying that I would rather deal with the root cause of my “depression” than just treat the symptoms. He seemed relieved to not have me go down the medication route. Dealing with the “root cause”, which I guessed was at least partly related to special needs parenting, was never really much of a thing. I had versions of talk-therapy over the years but root causes, the situation, were never really resolved. Some things I guess we just have to live with.
My special needs son Josiah had a circuitous route for psychiatric type of meds. Initially, possibly even as a pre-schooler, he was put on Wellbutrin for his ADHD. We had been under pressure from school personnel to get him on some type of ADHD med, but we were quite reluctant to go that route. His primary doc shared how a number of her kids (her practice was dedicated to special needs kids & families) with ADHD were so relieved when they went on meds to help with their ADHD that they finally felt “normal” for the first time in their lives. This info “convinced” me to go ahead with meds for J.
So J was on Wellbutrin until he started showing a tongue-thrusting, strange mouth movement side effect, which was quite concerning to me. At that point the primary doctor switched him to Strattera. We started to notice significant increases in behavioral & emotional control issues with this med change (he always had these challenges but they were way worse after the med change). In mentioning it to the primary care doc she said that Wellbutrin also had an emotional control aspect, I believe it’s also an anti-depressant, that wasn’t in Strattera, so she added Paxil to J’s regimen.
He took the liquid form of Paxil & was initially put on 4mls, I think. As the years went by I would short dose him little by little until he was maybe taking 2-2.5mls a day. Once the med refill was done with a generic & it did NOT work as well for him as regular Paxil so subsequently he got Paxil “dispense as written”.
Later on Metadate (Methylphenidate generic, a form of Ritalin apparently) was added to his regimen. With those three psych meds he performed better in school & controlled his emotions better, at least for the school day. Most effects were wearing off by the time he came home from school so the family never got the “benefit” of the meds to any large degree, except on weekends I guess.
Interestingly, if for some reason he ever missed his short-dosed Paxil it became Very Obvious as his emotional control was Way out of whack!
Prior to having his Liver Transplant we were told that some meds would not “survive” the transplant & he would have to wean off of them. I believe Strattera was one of those meds so he went off of it, but I don’t recall if it was tapered down or cold turkey.
He also started to get off Paxil, but this is something we did on our own, not via medical oversight. Paxil could survive the transplant but J wanted to back off of it himself even though it helped with his “autistic cocktail of issues: depression, anxiety, & OCD” which were fairly typical in that patient population per the primary care doc.
When he was in the ICU post-transplant I was talking about Paxil with one of his nurses & that guy said that Paxil was one of the hardest meds to ever come off of & many people were not successful at the weaning off process.
After Josiah’s transplant he had some unusual things happen to him. He kind of went through an abrupt mental/emotional puberty. He began to realize things he hadn’t grasped before, like kids he thought were his friends were actually laughing At him & mocking him, not laughing with him, as friends would do. He was deeply wounded here.
His transplant happened the summer before his Junior year in HS, age 17, & that school year was quite challenging for him, especially when he hit 18 in early December &
“became his own parent” from a special ed standpoint, where the system took extreme advantage of him in multiple ways & had no requirement to inform us of his needs as “he was his own guardian”. He was fearful of what he was facing but was afraid to discuss his concerns with us so he went through many challenges unsupported. It was obscene how the special ed system brutalized a “higher functioning” “legal adult” who was still vulnerable & needed protections & support from family.
I think it was the summer between junior & senior year when Josiah decided to go off his Metadate as well. We were Up North at the Cottage with extended family & his ADHD kicked into high gear, especially verbally. It was quite the adjustment for the family. However, Josiah became much more social overall. He was learning to have give & take conversations to some degree, a big change for how he typically interacted.
I recall a time before his transplant when we were at Art Therapy. There was an older black man who was training with the AT. He & Josiah had a very detailed conversation about Star Wars. I was floored that Josiah could carry on such a cohesive discussion, & with a stranger. I’d never seen the like before. I guess he’d had the capacity, even back when on those meds, but usually it didn’t show forth when he was with others.
In looking back I wonder how much of the psych med protocols he was put on were for the convenience of those around him. Per Neuropsych Testing when he was on Strattera, Paxil, & Metadate he was able to perform much better academically. This was hard data that was very encouraging. Yet later on, when he was off all three of those meds, he seemed to interact better socially.
His relationship with the Lord has been a huge part of his development & increasing emotional control. Meds May have been masking, to some degree, what God was able to be doing in his heart & mind as he learned to cast his cares on the Lord & to seek God’s wisdom & peace to guide him through the challenges of life.

Thank you. Just finished the first reading of your SpecialConnections post. My initial thoughts:
It appears that your son was put on one psychotropic med after another with no “taper down and wean off” process to stop one med before starting another. This is something that can happen during the hunt to find a psychotropic drug that will “do the trick” for the patient. Meanwhile, the patient’s body and brain are literally caught in the middle among different meds, each of which has its own side effects / interaction / adverse events potentials.
The solution form of Paxil (paroxetine), IMO, is most quickly absorbed into the body and therefore will act quicker. This can also mean that side effects, etc., can show up faster and/or be more severe.
Yours Truly recommends Art Therapy to help with all kinds of aspects of emotional-psychological issues. Two years ago, I started doing Art Therapy at home, using YouTube videos for guidance. I did a lot of painting while I was in the “taper down — wean off — stop the drug” process to get off paroxetine. I’m still painting now — to help me rewire my brain to “pre-SSRI”. I firmly believe that Art Therapy can help anyone at any age.
Paxil (paroxetine) is recognized in the medical world as being the toughest psychotropic drug to stop taking. Most people on the drug who want to stop taking it can’t finish the process and wind up continuing on it.

I honestly don’t remember now if the changing psych meds process had any type of taper down, at least between Wellbutrin & Strattera. For Paxil & Metadate those meds were ultimately refused by Josiah, even when he could have perhaps have benefited from Paxil in managing his emotional issues, especially in the early post-transplant days when he went through socially damaging insights & “abuse” by various aspects of the school system.
One advantage of liquid Paxil, in our situation, was that I could short dose him & I did do that for years. I think when it was originally prescribed, when he was in elementary school, his dose might have been 6mls. I ended up short dosing that & the doctor lowered the dose to 4mls. As I said above I short dosed that down to 2-2 1/2 mls for quite some time. I guess that in a manner of speaking we did do a semi-unofficial tapering down before he went off Paxil entirely.
The Metadate he basically stopped cold turkey but I think that wasn’t a med that the body built up a tolerance to, like some of the ADHD meds other family members tried for a (mostly relatively short) season. By the time he dropped that med he was out of HS so not needing to focus for academic purposes any longer. He does pretty well, now, without all this psychological medication support, but has had a few subsequent significant bouts of upheaval in his life that were mostly worked through via conversation, prayer, scripture, & worship.
We haven’t had him to Art Therapy for years. I so wanted to get him, alone, & later with his wife, back to see his longtime Art Therapist for I think she would be amazed to see how far he has come in his life & communication skills since she last worked with him. Interestingly Josiah’s twin Brandon ran into this AT when he was on an EMT run in the city of Detroit. She no longer works where she’d been for years so it will take some digging to even attempt to get any potential meetings together, including having to run through Community Mental Health supports coordination to ensure coverage for such therapeutic visits would be in place. I guess it’s back burner now.
What a blessing that Art Therapy has been so beneficial for you in your own healing journey! I used to unofficially play with the art supplies during J’s AT appointments & also felt the benefits of just playing with color & imagination. I used to sort through the extensive bead collections at AT & sometimes felt like I was holding color & light in my hands. It was an unexpected blessing to encounter creative artistic outlets there & seemed to help diminish stress, at least while at the AT location 🙂

OMG – wait a minute – this is actually pretty cool.
IMO, “Team Obama” didn’t trust Biden to KNOW certain things, or to be lucid and healthy to sign them at any designated time, even when he could know or did know. Thus, the heavy use of the autopen, so things could be signed on time, no matter what Biden’s state, or personal opinion on the matter at hand. But by the same token, Team Obama did NOT want to mess up the SCOTUS appointment, or risk Joe not being able to sign, so they were super-careful about that one.
To me, this shows consciousness of guilt. They KNEW they were on thin ice with the autopen gambit, and it was too risky for a SCOTUS appointment, so they took greater pains on that one, to lock it in, air-tight, as soon as possible.
