That snow looks lovely after a couple days of 🥵🥵🥵. We’re havin’ a heat wave and it ain’t tropical.

Warning for tomorrow:

If no one wants to impregnate them what’s the point?

American Individualism Is Being Extinguished By The New Elite

Throughout history, men have been ostracized, banished, exiled, or destroyed simply for not fitting in. For not conforming. As with all things, there were exceptions to the rule but it was a rule nonetheless. America turned that rule on its head when the emphasis changed from the top down to the bottom up for the purpose of governance. Authorities and dictators no longer arbitrarily conferred and revoked privileges. We have rights that are now acknowledged as having been endowed by God. They can’t be taken away by men.

Thus did the individual find his rightful place as the nexus and primary force in society. This was no small accomplishment and it empowered people to strive for success and personal betterment no matter what their station in life, their level of education, or their social skills. This historic change in the role of the individual has driven the prosperity, accomplishment, and the monumental attraction that has always been America.

The resurgence of the authoritarian state was, however, inevitable and the Founding Fathers anticipated its occurrence. Their solution was limited government, which they then built into the constitution. Limit the “necessary evil.” Limit the “group think.” But as sure as night follows day, the failure to curtail government expansion heralded the revival of the authoritarian world. A dark, colorless world of absolute control and dismal existence where people are forced by their peers, their employers, and their governments into docile compliance and acceptance of the most oppressive forms of coercion and intrusion into their lives.

One doesn’t have to look too deeply to see the manifestations of this puppet society. From carbon copy propaganda outlets masquerading as news agencies to outrageous bureaucratic efforts to snuff out the rights and autonomy of the individual.

They want us all to just be cogs in a wheel.

Jan. 6 stuff:

Jonathan Turley chimes in:

Pelosi’s Court: How the Jan. 6 Committee Undermined its Own Legitimacy

Congress has a long history of bipartisan investigatory and select committees. Many were formed during deep political rifts — yet, for 230 years, Congress maintained the need for bipartisan membership. That was the case with the Watergate committees, the House Committee on Assassinations, the Special Committee to Investigate the National Defense Program, the House Select Committee to Investigate Covert Arms Transactions and other investigations. It would have been easy to stack the decks and limit the members by party on each of those committees, but past congressional leaders understood that the credibility of such investigations required balance, including opposing views.

Pelosi’s decision to gut that process was something of a signature muscle play. As a witness in the first Trump impeachment, I was highly critical of her insistence that the House would impeach before Christmas rather than conduct the traditional impeachment investigation with witnesses. Instead of building a more convincing case, Pelosi preferred to impeach with virtually no record, for a certain defeat in the Senate. In the second impeachment, she went one better: She held no hearing at all and pushed through the first “snap impeachment.”

The Jan. 6 committee was similarly stripped of any pretense. It was as subtle a political move as Pelosi’s ripping up President Trump’s State of the Union speech. Asked what she hoped to achieve from the committee on the first day of hearings, Pelosi tellingly referred to it as a “narrative.” It is the difference between seeing and simulating justice.

The Morning Briefing: Dear J6 Kangaroo Court—When You’ve Lost Rachel Maddow…

You really want federal gun control intervention? Well, here’s an idea for you

Crime isn’t skyrocketing nationwide because firearm laws have changed (they haven’t), but because the law-enforcers have changed.

Enforcement of local laws makes far more sense than any one-size-fits-all policy, too, as crime is not an evenly distributed phenomenon. Consider that more than half of 2016’s murders occurred in just certain parts of two percent of our land’s counties, and 68 percent of the homicides were committed in only small pockets of five percent of the counties.

Oh, these would be exclusively, or almost all, Democrat-governed areas.

In contrast and on average, “73 percent of counties in any given year had zero murders from 1977 to 2000,” reported Fox News in 2017. (These would generally be GOP areas.)

In other words, we don’t have a “gun problem.

We have a Democrat population/governance problem.

The Depp-Heard Verdict and Gender Equality

It is time to admit that the American left is malevolent

From the moment Joe Biden illegitimately took office, he opened the border to migrants from all over the world, over 175 countries, and secretly transports them to towns and cities throughout America, amongst unsuspecting citizens.  Thousands of them are ill with a variety of third world diseases and of course covid.  Thousands of them are vicious gang members, human sex traffickers and/or pedophiles.  Thousands of unaccompanied minors have been trafficked with the administration’s knowledge and approval.  All of the migrants pay the Mexican drug cartels thousands of dollars to be “crossed over” into the US.  The cartels are netting millions of dollars a week in payments for getting migrants into America for what many of them believe will lead to citizenship and a free ride.

Of course, many of them are economic migrants who seek better and safer lives for themselves and their families.  They are people who are used to and willing to work.  But the jobs they get are jobs American citizens might have had for better wages.  The Biden administration does not care about those American citizens who will be denied a living wage because millions of migrants will take those jobs for less.

The Biden administration has brought this country to a historically and frightening new low, domestically and internationally. Our President and our nation are now laughingstocks, perceived as weak and vulnerable.  Biden has made it clear to the rest of the world, beginning with his shuttering of our energy independence and his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, that America is free for the taking.  China, Iran and Russia, even North Korea, have all sized up this president up and found him to be not only ridiculous but easily rolled.  Each of those enemies of America, enemies of freedom, are planning their takeover of America, thanks to Biden and his pathetic cabinet’s fecklessness.  The US is now a vulnerable target of each of our enemies.

Other Stuff:

25 States Have Now Left National School Boards Association As Nebraska Departs

In addition to Nebraska, 24 other states have left the NSBA, including Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

A total of 30 states have distanced themselves from the national association since the September letter, according to Parents Defending Education, a nonprofit that describes itself as “a national grassroots organization working to reclaim our schools from activists imposing harmful agendas,”

The NSBA board sent a letter in September asking federal law enforcement to investigate threats against school officials as domestic terrorism, including implementing the use of the Patriot Act.

“As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes,” the letter read in part.

Zelensky Ordered Destruction of All State Docs Associated with METABIOTA on 02/24/22

🚨BOMBSHELL FROM RUSSIA🚨

Ukrainian document released to Russian media outlet, @izvestia, showing decree from Zelensky to destroy all files on Ukrainian defense service members, employees and staff of the state, and any involvement with Hunter Biden’s biolab METABIOTA, on 02/24/22, the same day the air strikes on Ukraine began.

See original document above on the left and then translated in English on the right. Holy shit is this a doozy. But wait, there’s a lot more.

Remember that infamous video of Ukrainian MIL burning documents RIGHT IN FRONT of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense building in Kyiv, Ukraine? On 02/24/22 THE SAME DAY OF THE DECREE FROM ZELENSKY.

Yup. The MSM broadcasted a video of Ukrainian MIL destroying evidence of Ukrainian State involvement with HUNTER BIDEN’S BIOLAB in Ukraine, right as Russia was beginning its missile strikes.

You guys… we caught them all. We caught them in broad daylight on MSM.

Biden Cracks Down On The Gig Economy

Now, people selling used items on eBay, homemakers with craft stores on Etsy, and roommates who split rent on Venmo will all be subject to increased scrutiny by the IRS if they make a penny more than $600. The rules have the potential to dissuade small-time sellers from using the platforms altogether, driving some to under-the-table alternatives and others out of the market entirely.

While the new rules do not change what users owe in taxes—if you made $750 on eBay in 2020, that was still potentially taxable, despite your not having received a 1099-K—it could give them the impression they owe more than they do. What is more, the rules will effectively require small-time sellers to itemize their expenses. That might be reasonable for a person selling crafts on Etsy, but impracticable for a person selling a microwave he bought six years ago.

“The reporting-threshold change does not change taxes that users already owe, and could also help them by showing what income has been reported to the IRS at tax time,” Garrett Watson, senior policy analyst at the Tax Foundation told The American Conservative. “The tradeoff is, it may dissuade some people who may either have a misunderstanding of what the reporting actually means for them (e.g. think it actually is a tax increase), or could encourage some people to avoid taxes by engaging in transactions off the platform.”

Watson added that the new rules may require platforms to collect the Social Security information of sellers, which, he said, “could dissuade some users who do not want to disclose this information.”

The Joint Committee on Taxation estimated that the new rules would result in more than $8 billion in tax revenue over the coming decade. It’s not hard to conceive of where that money might come from: Etsy had upwards of 7.4 million sellers in 2021, most of whom were located in the United States. eBay has about 7 million U.S.-based sellers. Countless more use Venmo and Paypal—not only for business transactions but to reimburse friends for a meal or to split rent payments.

The fact that the 1099-K forms will be issued on the basis of a user’s gross revenue means Venmo meal-splitters will have to dig up paper receipts to calculate their net profits and establish a paper trail if auditors dispute their estimates. It may also increase the burdens for “gig economy” workers—ride-share drivers, handymen, and other service workers who collect payments through a third-party platform—to record their expenses, even if they only work their “gig” job on a part-time basis.

This is going to effect a whole lot of people, that’s for sure.

And now for the obligatory message from our sponsors:

Here at the Q tree we believe in the concept of CIVIL open free speech and the discussion that fleshes out ideas. When commenting and participating in the OPEN discussion on this thread all comments MUST NOT CONTAIN personal threats, baiting, name calling, or other anti-social words fomenting hate, violence or destruction. Our host Wolfm00n has strict rules about that.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone

Please, stock up on blanks for celebratory gunfire, be ready to swing from the chandeliers…and no messing with the nuclear weapons.

Please remember to remain locked and loaded and ready for trouble should the insurrectionists try to invade your space.

Those who have things to say that do not fit the generally accepted limits of “civil” discussion, Wolf has provided a venue known as the UTree. You’re welcome to visit over there and say hi to anyone hanging out over there. The “Rescue Thread” is also over there. In the event a rendezvous of the tree is needed, please check it out, as well as the newest rescue venue.

MATTHEW 6:1-6, 16-18

1“Beware of practicing your piety before men in order to be seen by them; for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. 2“Thus, when you give alms, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 3But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your alms may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. 5“And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 6But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. 16“And when you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 17But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18that your fasting may not be seen by men but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.

And…members of the QTree who no longer participate for one reason or another, as well as Gil, RDS, Bakocarl, Nora, Cthulhu and any others facing serious health issues right now..

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

The J6 Committee’s Real Target Is You

All I heard from the Democrats’ prime-time telecast of their J6 Soviet show trial was blah, blah, blah, Americans are racist, Trump’s a terrorist, and Congress must tear up more of the Constitution to save “democracy.” Lights, camera, distraction! The way-off-Broadway tragicomedy produced by State media at once radiated the cheap emotionalism of a soap opera while leaving the ludicrous impression that our exalted leaders are nothing but ventriloquist dummies seeking refuge from a bad vaudeville routine. It was difficult not to laugh at the parade of dour faces glaring intently into the cameras with their punishing nursemaid scowls imploring the audience to take them seriously. Even watched on a phone screen, the staged spectacle reeked of sweat, desperation, and community theater amateurishness.

Like a third-rate Vegas show performed by mediocre magicians, there was no surprise or suspense. Listening to the players read from their corny scripts, I thought they would have been better off just breaking into incantations or hypnotic chants: abracadabra, pay no attention to obscene gas prices or the imploding economy…forget about Hillary’s Russia collusion hoax…never mind that more evidence of a fraudulent 2020 election emerges daily…it is imperative that we take away more of your rights! Free speech is deadly, America. Stop following the man with the red hat. It is Congress that loves you. It is we who will keep you safe. Love us. Worship us. We promise to be good masters.

Just what could compel D.C.’s reptilian ruling class to go to such lengths in its attempt to scramble Americans’ brains with such overt propaganda? Well, this is obviously the only issue Democrats and their masochistic enablers have in terms of a midterm election strategy (aside from another round of late-night mail-in ballot dumps and a compliant judicial system eager to rubber-stamp ballots as “valid” deemed “invalid” by state law). I kept thinking over the last eighteen months that the geniuses running America into the ground would come up with a second or third pitch in their 2022 election repertoire, but that was foolish; this is it; the Democrats are still running on nothing but Orange Man Bad.

Oh, and things heated up at the Supreme Court even if the decision hasn’t been handed down yet.

Note which side is masked.

So, BioClandestine connected some dots:

Russian Military Moving into Nicaragua targeting US Funded BSL-3 Veterinary Biolab

HOLY SHITTTT!!! WHY IS THIS NOT BIGGER NEWS?!

This is from CBS on Saturday, Nicaragua gives Russia permission for Russian troops to enter the country?!?

For those who don’t know geography, Nicaragua is in Central America, 1600 miles from the Texas border.

Nicaraguan President, Daniel Ortega, signed a decree on 06/08/22, allowing Russian troops to carry out law enforcement duties, “humanitarian aid, rescue and search missions in emergencies or natural disasters.”

Russian spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, made the following statement on the activities in Nicaragua:

“We are talking about a routine — twice a year — procedure for the adoption of a Nicaraguan law on the temporary admission of foreign military personnel to its territory in order to develop cooperation in various areas, including humanitarian and emergency responses, combatting organized crime and drug trafficking,”.

So the Russian Military are moving into North America, looking for organized crime? My first reaction was… “DO WE HAVE BIOLABS IN NICARAGUA?!”.

Lo and behold, we do. And it’s worse than I imagined.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/nicaragua-gives-permission-for-russian-troops-to-enter-country/?

So I started digging on US bio activity in Nicaragua.

As it turns out, not only do we have a BSL-3 Veterinary biolab in Nicaragua, the Biden STATE DEPT added the Nicaraguan government officials to the “Corrupt and Undemocratic List” on 03/09/22, barring them from entering the country.

Keep in mind that’s the same day the State Dept put out their disinformation statement claiming there are no biolabs in Ukraine, right after Victoria Nuland from the State Dept just admitted there were Biolabs in Ukraine, the day before in congressional testimony.

They really are trying to kill us.

New hashtag from American Thinker:

No one should be surprised that these fools are now openly telling us that they are “grooming” the next generation into the evil LGBTMYNAMEISLEGION agenda. We’ve been on this path for years. What was long seen as immoral — and even laughed at by numerous Hollywood leftists — and more recently something that needed to be treated and cured, is now promoted and celebrated.

The Democrat Party seems to be fully on-board with every new perversion the LGBTMYNAMEISLEGION apologists can dream up. In addition to anything they can accomplish legislatively in support of this evil agenda, one of the leading Democrats in America, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, will make a promotional reappearance on RuPaul Andre Charles’ TV show, RuPaul’s Drag Race.

In describing drag, RuPaul has correctly noted that it is a “very, very political” act because it “challenges the status quo.” He further adds, “Drag says ‘I’m a shapeshifter, I do whatever the hell I want at any given time.’” Of course, “I do whatever the hell I want at any given time” is an admission that one fully embraces the godless Pagan philosophy of “Do as Thou Wilt.” This godlessness is the foundational principle of the modern left.

The RINOs are out in force on the ‘framework’ for new gun laws

According to a statement from the bipartisan group of senators, they have an agreement in principle for legislation that includes “needed mental health resources, improves school safety and support for students, and helps ensure dangerous criminals and those who are adjudicated as mentally ill can’t purchase weapons….” More specifically, the senators have agreed on the following concepts, which I’ve listed along with my comments:

Funding for school safety resources. If this means armed safety officers and hardened infrastructure, that’s good. Cynically, I don’t think it will mean that.

Extending background checks to juvenile criminal justice records and mental health records for buyers under 21. This is a good idea and might actually stop some of the crazier 18-, 19-, and 20-year-olds from beating background checks because their juvenile records are under seal.

Expanding mental health and support services in schools. Schools have become lunatic asylums that encourage race hatred and push students to deny biological reality. It used to be that liberal colleges took in bright, normal kids and, after four (or five or six) years of marinating these kids in leftist gender and race theories, graduated basket cases. Now, those same theories are part of elementary school curricula, so I don’t see schools as bastions standing ready to help students’ mental health.

Penalties for straw purchases. Meh. The likelihood of this effectively ending gun crimes is limited at best. Other laws already cover this practice in one way or another and they’ve been ineffectual.

Federal government funds for state and tribe red flag laws. Red flag laws, which deprive people of a constitutional right without due process, are unconstitutional. That’s it. They are. And it’s no use saying “but they might save lives” because they also might cost lives. Imagine a vindictive woman calling in a red flag on her legally armed boyfriend and, once he’s disarmed, killing him.

Blunt’s actually not running again, but the rest of them…yeah.

You’ll Never Escape COVID

Meanwhile, the media magnify fears over the mystery of Long COVID.  One third of all infected will suffer chronic and debilitating symptoms!  Niggling details didn’t make it to press, though, such as how most subjects were the vulnerable elderly and hospitalized for severe acute infection.  One in five may develop Long COVID, says the CDC, and vaccination will protect you!  Yet the article buried how vaccination can also increase risk of Long COVID and lead to worse outcomes than hospitalization for influenza.  Marvel in horror as people lose ten I.Q. points to Long COVID!  Never you mind all subjects were severe and critical cases.  Long COVID can even lead to death!  Actual underlying causes may have nothing to do with Long COVID, but let that not stand in the way of sensational headlines magnetizing clicks.

Nevertheless, actual SARS-CoV-2 infections can lead to actual chronic conditions, but nailing down the prevalence is elusive.  Government analysts with the U.K. Office for National Statistics grappling with this issue found that overall, 11.5 percent on average suffer longer-term symptoms out to 5 weeks that falls to around 3 percent at 12 weeks improving afterward.  Women and elderly are more vulnerable, including those with the well known comorbidity obesity, itself a “pandemic” estimated to kill 2.8 million per year.  Imagine the lives saved if government policies focused on nutrition, exercise, and general health instead of, well, other things.

But what exactly is Long COVID?  The U.K. report struggled with three different definitions and three different analyses for the condition.  Typical symptoms include difficulty breathing, cognitive decline or “brain fog,” chronic fatigue, malaise, headaches, and runny nose.  Yet these things plagued humanity long before the now-vindicated pangolas of Wuhan wet markets unleashed their “never could happen” gain-of-functionin-a-laboratory viral strain on a world bristling with triggers for these symptoms including, of all things, isolation.

Curiously, social stressors such as isolation are linked with inflammation, particularly in the brain, or “neuroinflammation.”  Brain physiology is altered by inflammatory mechanisms and implicated in fibromyalgia and Gulf War Illness.  Research into this issue predates the pandemic, showing rising risk for mental illnessfatigue, depressionwithdrawal, and mood disorders — symptoms that strikingly overlap Long COVID descriptions by the CDC

I have a cousin who identifies as an unwilling vegetarian and blames her inability to tolerate meat on COVID. It may have been a tick bite, but still.

Not sure that I agree with Revolver on this one, but prior to being occupants of the Oval Office there really is no comparison:

Don’t Compare Biden to Carter: Joe’s Not Fit to Shine Jimmy’s Shoes

The Biden-Carter comparison is a natural one, and not just because Biden shares Carter’s gruesome approval ratings. Both had to cope with similar problems: Inflation, an energy shock, Russian assertiveness, and the implosion of an American Middle East ally. Both inspired widespread feeling that the American superpower was over-the-hill and soon to be surpassed by foreign rivals.

And then, there’s the personal dimension: Joe Biden was the first U.S. senator to endorse Carter for president all the way back in 1975, when Carter was a longshot dark horse candidate for the Democratic nomination.

Unfortunately for Joe Biden and the American people, however, Joe Biden isn’t half the man Jimmy Carter was….

The piece goes on to tell of Carter and the near nuclear meltdown versus Biden plagerizing and finishing at the bottom of his class at Syracuse Law.

17Then the word of the LORD came to Eli’jah the Tishbite, saying, 18“Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who is in Sama’ria; behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, where he has gone to take possession. 19And you shall say to him, `Thus says the LORD, “Have you killed, and also taken possession?”‘ And you shall say to him, `Thus says the LORD: “In the place where dogs licked up the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick your own blood.”‘” 20Ahab said to Eli’jah, “Have you found me, O my enemy?” He answered, “I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do what is evil in the sight of the LORD. 21Behold, I will bring evil upon you; I will utterly sweep you away, and will cut off from Ahab every male, bond or free, in Israel; 22and I will make your house like the house of Jerobo’am the son of Nebat, and like the house of Ba’asha the son of Ahi’jah, for the anger to which you have provoked me, and because you have made Israel to sin. 23And of Jez’ebel the LORD also said, `The dogs shall eat Jez’ebel within the bounds of Jezreel.’ 24Any one belonging to Ahab who dies in the city the dogs shall eat; and any one of his who dies in the open country the birds of the air shall eat.” 25(There was none who sold himself to do what was evil in the sight of the LORD like Ahab, whom Jez’ebel his wife incited. 26He did very abominably in going after idols, as the Amorites had done, whom the LORD cast out before the people of Israel.) 27And when Ahab heard those words, he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted and lay in sackcloth, and went about dejectedly. 28And the word of the LORD came to Eli’jah the Tishbite, saying, 29“Have you seen how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days; but in his son’s days I will bring the evil upon his house.”

PSALMS 51:3-6, 11, 16

1Have mercy on me, O God, according to thy steadfast love; according to thy abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. 2Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! 3For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. 4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in thy sight, so that thou art justified in thy sentence and blameless in thy judgment. 9Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. 14Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of thy deliverance.

MATTHEW 5:43-48

43“You have heard that it was said, `You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47And if you salute only your brethren, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

George Soros Invested $40 Million to Help Elect Dozens of Progressive Prosecutors Across the U.S.: Study

Analysts with the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF) found that Soros, a progressive billionaire and founder of the Open Society Foundations, has invested about $40 million over the past decade to elect dozens of progressive prosecutors, including many in the most populated U.S. cities.

Soros-backed prosecutors represent one-fifth of all Americans, and they hold office in half of the top 50 most populated U.S. cities and counties.

Cities with Soros-backed district attorneys are responsible for 40% of criminal activity in the U.S, according to the LELDF. Soros-backed candidates are known for their support of “social justice” and lax criminal justice reform proposals.

“Soros is using that campaign money and the hundreds of millions more for supporting organizations to quietly transform the criminal justice system for the worse, promoting dangerous policies and anti-police narratives to advance his radical agenda,” LELDF President Jason Johnson told The Washington Examiner, the first to publish the analysis.

And don’t some of us know it.

OPERATION “DUMP FEINSTEIN” CONTINUES

Is there really a need for another long feature story about how Sen. Dianne Feinstein is senile and needs to go? You wouldn’t think so, but New York magazine has a long cover story about how she’s lost it. Yes—strange that a magazine with a supposed focus on New York would be so interested in California’s very senior senator, and while the piece is swathed in lots of sympathetic biography for her 52-year career in public office (!), the subtext that she needs to go is impossible to disguise effectively, starting with the unflattering cover photo which makes her look like a cadaver.

Then there are the savage passages repeating and embellishing previous reporting:

Feinstein, who turns 89 in June, is older than any other sitting member of Congress. Her declining cognitive health has been the subject of recent reporting in both her hometown San Francisco Chronicle and the New York Times. It seems clear that Feinstein is mentally compromised, even if she’s not all gone. . .

Reached by phone two days after 19 children were murdered in an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, in late May, Feinstein spoke in halting tones, sometimes trailing off mid-sentence or offering a non sequitur before suddenly alighting upon the right string of words. She would forget a recently posed question, or the date of a certain piece of legislation, but recall with perfect lucidity events from San Francisco in the 1960s. Nothing she said suggested a deterioration beyond what would be normal for a person her age, but neither did it demonstrate any urgent engagement with the various crises facing the nation.

The old guard is on its way out…and with them the brains of the operation what few there are.

Hmm…. GWB does still have a no fly zone over his house in Dallas.

A Demagogue Lashes Out

There can be little doubt that Biden could use a distraction. The Biden administration has shown itself to be incompetent, irresponsible, and (on its best days) hopelessly adrift. Having reversed many of his predecessor’s policies (to the nation’s detriment) out of blind spite, Biden effectively reinstalled and rearmed the Taliban (unintentionally, perhaps, but with such a staggering display of ineptitude as to provoke Putin’s mad dash into Ukraine). Biden’s asinine energy policies — policies he obstinately refuses to modify — significantly hamper the U.S. economy by effectively strangling domestic energy production. These policy choices are so clearly irrational as to constitute an act of deliberate economic sabotage, sabotage inflicted upon the nation to gratify a small band of green energy fanatics. The southern border has been effectively abolished, exacerbating all manner of criminal activity (well beyond mere mundane illegal entries.) Most recently, the Biden administration failed to act in time to head off a national baby formula shortage. In coming days, we can look forward to worsening inflation, continuing food shortages, rolling blackouts, and a possible Chinese attack on Taiwan.

But in the Oval Office, there is hope. If only enough voters can be coached to resent the Second Amendment and to hate those who in response to scripted pleas of “Enough!” say “Not so fast — let’s do something that might actually work without undermining a fundamental right” — then perhaps Biden’s declining political fortunes may be reversed. A bizarre (though unsurprising) electoral strategy; the Democrats seem incapable of attracting voters via anything other than overheated calls for revenge. Such vulgar hatemongering is unworthy of a president, though par for the course for Biden. If Biden were serious about addressing the nation’s problems, he would work to establish a basis for bipartisan cooperation rather than using a national address to tar and feather his political opponents, but one suspects this is well beyond his capabilities and out of step with his character — or rather lack thereof.

Biden may be spent, viscous, and dull, but thanks to an obliging national media, he and his allies are not without considerable resources. A media that mindlessly parrots accusations of “white supremacy” and “systemic racism” on cue now eagerly steps forward to gin up public hysteria over “assault weapons ” and “weapons of war.” These are, of course, phantoms of the Democratic political imagination — terms of political abuse, pejorative definitions invented to scare a deliberately misinformed public into acceding to (if not demanding) the eradication of a seemingly obvious danger.

What Biden really needs is a binky, a blankie and a nap.

Tucker can be let through just this once, and only because of his guest.

Energy stuff:

Yeah, well, it’s worse than that. From Sundance:

Biden Administration Quietly Raised Amount of Ethanol Required in Gasoline from Ten Percent to Fifteen, Three Predictable Problems Will Surface Soon

Even more food used as fuel, and the plant involved is the hardest on farmland in terms of depleting minerals. And then there’s what the stuff does to the inside of internal combustion engines.

More from Sundance:

Biden Administration Declare National Emergency for Clean Energy Production, Invokes Defense Production Act to Facilitate Faster Transformation of Energy Economy Away from Fossil Fuels

On the front side of the justification, the people in control of the Biden administration, claim that current and future increases in energy prices are likely to do severe damage to the economy and the lives of all Americans.  However, in the background of the issue, this is the ‘never let a crisis go to waste’ phase of an energy crisis the administration has intentionally created.

The real goal is to fundamentally transform the foundation of the U.S. economy away from fossil fuels and into a new era of clean renewable energy. This is what all of the Biden cabinet officers now refer to as the “economic transition” phase.  Joe Biden’s announcement today is the triggering of increased government control over the construction of the United States energy system.

Twitter Stuff:

One Step Closer: Elon Musk’s Twitter Takeover Clears Federal Antitrust Review

Elon Musk Threatens to Walk Away from Twitter Deal if the Social Media Company Does Not Provide Transparency on Bots and Spam Accounts

The Chess moves are analyzed by BioClandestine:

Elon correctly calculated the enemy’s moves and counter moves, and lured Twitter into a trap. They have no choice but to lower the price and cut their losses.

If Elon actually wanted to terminate the deal, he would not threaten to do so, he would just do it. This is a tactic to further expose the enemy and also get Twitter at a discounted price. This move not only saves Elon billions of dollars, but most importantly it solidifies the reality that Twitter not only has a high bot count, but they went great lengths to cover it up and profit off of the falsified user data.

This confirms Twitter was/is intentionally conducting nefarious activity. This will lead to extensive audits and eventually, the exposure of calculated bot usage to sway public opinion.

Slowly but surely, the dark secrets of Big Tech are being put on display. One day, the world will know how political entities brainwashed the masses with bot manipulation.

American Culture stuff:

Two different commentary pieces on Monday put forth the same conclusion regarding the mass shootings. Neither mentioned MK ULTRA or psychological experiments, but the point is good.

Guns Are Not the Problem

Americans have owned guns since the founding, but it wasn’t until comparatively recently that mass shootings became a concern. Guns are not the problem. Our culture is. Broken cultures produce broken human beings. For every school shooter, there are thousands of other weak, confused, mentally disturbed men who are drifting away from society. They aren’t dating, aren’t working, and they spend most of their time in their bedrooms playing video games, smoking weed, watching pornography, and stewing in social media echo chambers.

None of this is healthy or normal, but we have been desensitized to dysfunction. It is considered offensive or stodgy even to suggest that things are not as they should be. We’re living in a male-dominated world, we are told over and over. Men are thriving. But it’s the women who are thriving. They are getting educated more than ever, making more money than ever, and they are finding the pickings of marriageable men with secure jobs (thanks, globalization) are slim. The result is fewer marriages, or marriages delayed, and fewer families….

The only times we even hear morals discussed, anymore, are when these shootings sporadically occur. As Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) put it recently, mass shootings are a “mirror” to what has become of our culture. He’s right, but we spend too little time looking in that mirror.

It’s the height of folly that we spend so much time shouting about a handful of mass murders, and almost no time talking about the collapse of our society, about the dysfunction that Americans live with every single day. We seldom hear about shootings in inner cities, where the vast majority of gun violence actually occurs and where the average kid is raised by a single mother. Nor do our politicians seem to care about the opioid crisis, which is killing Americans in record numbers as deadly drugs pour into the country uninterrupted.

Anyone who suggests that there is something wrong with our culture can expect to be mocked as a repressed theocrat projecting his own vices. This was the response to recently resurfaced remarks from J. D. Vance suggesting a ban on pornography. It takes only a moment’s reflection to see that porn is harmful to the formation of healthy, lasting relationships between men and women. It is easier to access and more graphic than ever. For growing numbers of men, it has become a substitute for love and marriage, one that feeds on and fuels feelings of insecurity, bitterness, and rage. But Vance’s proposal was met with universal snickering from liberal trolls: “Show us your browser history.”

Laura Ingraham was likewise derided for talking about the connection between marijuana, which has become more potent in recent years even as PR from lobbyists has cleaned up its image, and mental illness. Like pigs rolling in mud, the Left can’t imagine that anyone lives or could want to live differently than they do, that a higher life, a life of duty and order, is both possible and desirable.

Our moral imaginations have been so blunted by years of “studies show” talk that we forget the basics. Your average school shooter spends months writing the script of his own little action movie that he wants to force society to watch. They are living out a fantasy of glory. The childish, sadistic theatrics of these spectacles bear the imprint of a childish and sadistic popular culture. It is absurd to suggest that the man who dresses up like a “Call of Duty” character to go kill children has not been influenced in some way by gratuitous violence in mass media.

Our vapid, narcissistic “me” culture worships the self, and then we wonder why a handful of deranged people with no audience go out and make a spectacle of carnage. We seem to have acquired a strange skittishness of the word “evil” when these shootings occur.

The Texas School Shooting Is Proof Our Society Is Crumbling Into an Existential Crisis

However, in my view, people are now looking for simple solutions to a problem which likely has more complicated answers. Not many have acknowledged that perhaps such tragedies are in part due to problems much deeper rooted in modern-day America.

Since the post-modern takeover of American society, we have witnessed family breakdown at an unprecedented rate. According to the Pew Research Center, two-parent households have been on the decline, while divorce filings have been steadily increasing.

This means that more than ever, there is an immense lack of stable familial and community support in American society for which Generation Z seems to be paying a heavy price by being the age group most likely to have been brought up in a single-parent setting compared to previous generations.

Nearly one quarter of American children now reside in a single-parent living arrangement. It seemed that the Texas school shooter, Salvador Ramos, was one of such children. He did not reside with his father; in fact, he had not met his father since the pandemic began in 2020.

This shift from an established family structure to a more atomized way of living is now an unavoidable part of life for many young people. Various studies have consistently revealed consequences manifesting in the most devastating ways.

Food for thought for all of us.

More from BioClandestine on the Russia/Ukraine thing and the “elites” who are trying to kill us:

There are approximately 330 documented US DoD funded biolabs worldwide, in addition to the CDC, the WHO, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Clinton Foundation, Pfizer, Moderna, etc.; all of which are pouring billions and billions of dollars into “preventative” biological research and vaccines.

All these global resources, and what did they accomplish? How did they do anything to deter, prevent, treat, or cure C19? And now Monkeypox? Whatever they are doing with the billions and billions of our tax payer dollars, doesn’t appear to be working. In fact they only seem to make it worse.

So for those who still refuse to subscribe to the inconvenient reality that the US biolab network is malicious… you cannot deny that the US biolab network has been at least completely incompetent, if not willfully negligent.

And this malice/negligence caused Russia to use military force to intervene in US biological activity near the Russian border, because the US has clearly shown they are not to be trusted with our biological capabilities.

Keep in mind, the US government and western media denied the existence of these labs at all. Only for them to reluctantly have to admit the labs exist days later. If these labs truly were defensive and they have nothing to hide, why did they vehemently deny the existence of the labs in the first place? Why did they launch a mass censorship and smear campaign against me for pointing out these labs existed? Why did 43 separate publications label me by name and label my story as a “conspiracy theory”? Why put forth so much effort to cover up something if there’s nothing to cover up?

The US government and media are admitting they lied to you earlier about there being no labs… but they are being super serious and honest THIS time when they tell you the labs they said didn’t exist, are actually 100% defensive, not nefarious at all, and nobody needs to investigate it or talk about it in any way, shape, or form.

You don’t need to be a psychologist to recognize rudimentary tells of human dishonesty and deception. The People can smell bullshit from miles away, and everything pertaining to the US biological network reeks of fresh manure.

Blowing off steam re Congress American Thinker style:

In theory, Congress is supposed to represent the American people; in practice, of course, those self-important, backstabbing, double-dealing swindlers represent anybody but the American people.  A half-century of open borders while American citizens have overwhelmingly demanded they be shut, thirty years of new-world-order globalization while American workers have overwhelmingly demanded their old jobs back, and too many decades of costly foreign wars while our service members are overwhelmingly abandoned upon their return all attest to Congress’s only real guiding principle: Americans don’t matter.

Hey, when you’re in cahoots with the Davos Death Cult, print and spend money to abet the hustle of the global financial elite, wield the U.S. military as a mercenary force for protecting well-paying friends, and reap the benefits of widespread money-laundering and insider trading that would send anyone other than members of Congress (and their families) straight to prison, why would you care about ordinary Americans?  We are so…what’s the word?…expendable.  And uncouth.  Quick, somebody build multiple layers of fencing around the Capitol to keep the riffraff far from those who pretend to be their humble public servants.  We must protect the nobility from the dangerous animals roaming flyover country!  It’s as disgraced former FBI counterespionage chief and Russia collusion hoaxer Peter Strzok once texted about his daunting experience in a southern Virginia Walmart: “I could smell the Trump support.”  To me, Disinformation Fraud Pete’s stinky-head slur against those he swore to serve encapsulates perfectly Washington’s curdling contempt for the American people.

Out here in the real world, we have real problems.  Biden’s forced transition to a Green New Deal utopia — where we can all live happily dependent on wind farms, solar panels, and fairy dust made from transgender pronouns — has pushed an economy already teetering from a century of central bank funny money and congressional profligacy and decades of forced vassalage to Middle Eastern oil tyrants and cheap Chinese manufacturing to the brink of an inflationary collapse.  After four years of much-needed, salubrious deregulation set into motion by President Trump and his America-First economic team of patriots (including the estimable Peter Navarro, whom the Sovietized Congress and Stasi FBI have decided to arrest for the unpardonable sins of increasing Main Street wealth while disrespecting the D.C. despots’ “authoritah”), Build Back Better’s Marxist hooligans have put the pedal to the metal on unleashing a torrent of job-killing, wealth-confiscating, inventory-destroying “Great Reset” rules that have turbocharged rampant inflation and obliterated the economy in record time.

1 KINGS 17:7-16

7And after a while the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land. 8Then the word of the LORD came to him, 9“Arise, go to Zar’ephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.” 10So he arose and went to Zar’ephath; and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks; and he called to her and said, “Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.” 11And as she was going to bring it, he called to her and said, “Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.” 12And she said, “As the LORD your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of meal in a jar, and a little oil in a cruse; and now, I am gathering a couple of sticks, that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.” 13And Eli’jah said to her, “Fear not; go and do as you have said; but first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make for yourself and your son. 14For thus says the LORD the God of Israel, `The jar of meal shall not be spent, and the cruse of oil shall not fail, until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth.'” 15And she went and did as Eli’jah said; and she, and he, and her household ate for many days. 16The jar of meal was not spent, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD which he spoke by Eli’jah.

Dear KAG: 20220601 Open Thread

As expected given that the trial was in the swamp:

Jury Verdict, Clinton Lawyer Michael Sussmann Found Not Guilty of Lying to FBI

From Technofog’s Substack as brought to us by trumpismine:

The acquittal is no surprise. This is a DC jury, after all. In the Roger Stone case, for example, we documented how a juror lied to get on the panel. (That judge didn’t care.) Making matters worse, the Sussmann judge wrongly allowed for a woman to remain on the jury, despite the fact that her daughter and Sussmann’s are on the same high school crew team. One can’t help but think that juror had her own daughter’s interests in mind – the cohesion of the crew team, sparing her of teenage drama, etc. – when she reached a decision.

After the verdict was announced, the jury’s forewoman held court before the media and expressed her displeasure that the Special Counsel prosecute a false statement case: “There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI.”

This juror was never impartial – despite her assurance to the judge.

On the facts, the evidence was more than sufficient to prove Sussmann’s guilt. Sussmann lied to then-FBI general counsel James Baker via text message in order to get a meeting to pass the Alfa Bank hoax materials to the FBI.

Before too many people get in a tizzy complaining that justice was not served, consider the reality that we are in an information war as described by Clif High in an old video that surfaced recently. The Sussmann trial accomplished a number of things as described by any number of pundits on Tuesday.

  • Hillary Clinton was outed as the person who ordered the whole operation.
  • The FBI was outed as being used for political purposes.

And…the one that really needs a spotlight shone on it:

Another brick or three or five was taken out of the wall of trust surrounding government institutions.

The Justice Department, the courts, etc., are a cesspool of leftist activism, and the people are seeing that.

It’s called RED PILL CITY.

That in and of itself is a massive SCORE! for our side. The people are waking up.

This is no accident.

Okay…open tabs first:

ONE WAY GOVERNMENT

We are taught that the natural ebb and flow of electoral politics acts as a safeguard against tyranny; that a cost will be paid by the Left if they accrue too much power to themselves while in charge because, eventually, they will have to hand the apparatus they constructed back over to their enemies. Once the machinery of state is in the hands of their opponents, conservatives believe, the Left will finally be punished and realize their mistake, which will temper their desire to gain power the next time. The fear of a weapon in the hands of the enemy is supposed to govern the desire to wield it yourself. Self-preservation limits the aspirations of the country’s ruling class.

This check and balance that the mechanism of democracy is meant to provide may have functioned at some point in the country’s past, but that’s not how the United States government actually operates today. The majority of our government’s day-to-day decisions are not made by the legislature or even the President. The elected officeholder is not even the one regularly exercising discretion. Today, those decisions are handled by the technocracy, which is safely tucked away in our government agencies, i.e. the permanent bureaucracy that has come to be known as the deep state.

Talking points related to that concept:

America Today: Liberals Did It

I say to my liberal friends, if there is anything wrong in America today it is because of Youse Guys. Because you guys have been the ruling class in America for the last century and more.

That means that it is your ideas that run the country. And I mean your ideas, from soup to nuts. And anyone who disagrees with you… Well, we are not allowed to disagree, are we? That’s what all the noise about “disinformation” and “misinformation” is about. Thou shalt not disagree with the “experts agree.” And who are the experts? Mostly people employed and/or credentialed by the ruling class.

So shut up, peasants.

The left never rests

The left never rests.

The moment they achieve one major victory over common sense, they immediately push farther afield in search of their next conquest.

They are relentless. They have strung together an impressive array of startling victories in recent years. They got a candidate elected president of the United States – twice – who openly claimed he wanted to fundamentally change America.

They got Obamacare pushed through. They have legalized gay marriage. They are forcing public spaces, schools, and even private companies to accommodate the transgendered, the non-gendered, and the many-gendered, as well as remove gender specific signage. They are well on their way to making “misgendering” someone a crime. They are determined to force private and public organizations, religious groups, and you and I to pay for contraception and abortion for all. They are encouraging the massive influx of illegal immigrants, whether of a criminal bent or not. Oh, wait a minute, they are all criminals by definition. Their unending assault on religion has produced the least religious generation, the Millennials, in American history. They are obstructing any and all viable attempts at increasing our energy production, though we are awash in untapped oil, gas, and coal reserves.

They are very close to attaining their most mind-blowing victory yet: Getting anyone who so much as questions the man-caused, irreversible, global warming dogma to be considered a close-minded ignoramus. As it stands, the president is, by executive fiat, embarking on a path of bankrupting the United States for what even the global-warming-besotted “scientists” admit will be no significant benefit. Except that we are already 30+ trillion dollars worse off than “bankrupt.”

Why is it that they never rest? Well….

The Anti-Christ now rules us all

Gun “control” musings.

It’s Time to Bring an End to ‘Gun-Free Zones’

Even before all the details of the barbaric attack become public, enough is known to ruin the reputation of the Uvalde Police Department for failing to respond quickly and refusing to immediately mount a counterattack on the 18-year-old murderer (who deservedly shall remain unnamed). Those issues and the cultural and/or psychological pathology behind such mass murder are topics for another occasion. Today I wish to address the vulnerability created for schools and churches by the misguided policy of “gun-free zones.”

The problem and its solution are demonstrated in the experience of two small churches in Texas. In November 2017 in Sutherland Springs, Texas, the First Baptist Church was attacked by a gunman who killed 26 with an AR-15 rifle he illegally purchased. As a felon convicted of domestic violence while in the U.S. Air Force, he was prohibited from purchasing a firearm. He did so anyway because the Air Force failed to submit the court-martial conviction to the FBI’s database that is checked before a firearms purchase. His killing spree was ended by Stephen Willeford, armed with his AR-15, who shot him after he left the church. Willeford was called to the church by his daughter and arrived just in time to catch the murderer fleeing the scene in his car. He gave chase in another volunteer’s pickup truck and when they eventually cornered him the killer committed suicide.

See nothing, say nothing, do nothing

We are told that we have an epidemic of gun violence.

No, we have an epidemic of willful disengagement.

We are disengaged from each other. We are disengaged from reverence for life; disengaged from moral instruction; disengaged from actions to confront the reality of evil and those who would do harm amongst us. We are disengaged from those tormented by mental illness or dark personality disorders, and we are disengaged from remediating the socio-pathology of abnormal isolation.

We are disengaged from the bonds of the two-parent family structure, from child rearing at home, from teaching good from evil, and imposing consequences on those who would slaughter the innocent, and who have committed unspeakable atrocities.  And yes, we are disengaged from God, willfully dismissive of His commands, grace, and truth.

Have a good day y’all.

JOHN 17:11-19

11And now I am no more in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. 12While I was with them, I kept them in thy name, which thou hast given me; I have guarded them, and none of them is lost but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13But now I am coming to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14I have given them thy word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15I do not pray that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them in the truth; thy word is truth. 18As thou didst send me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be consecrated in truth.

DHS and Intel Community Media Outlets Proactively Move to Defend Dominion Voting Systems Ahead of Report on Electronic Election Hardware Issues Coming This Week

The timing is not coincidental.  A 100-page report on electronic voting systems, by University of Michigan computer scientist J. Alex Halderman, remains under seal in a federal court in Atlanta as an outcome of election integrity lawsuits surrounding the Dominion voting system.  That report is rumored to be released soon, perhaps as early as this week.

Sundance isn’t wrong about this. We really do need to go back to pen or pencil and paper and ditch the electronics if elections are to be honest.

The Left Dominates the Legal System, and They’re Taking Down GOP Election Attorneys en Masse

The left has developed a powerfully coordinated legal election effort under the leadership of left-wing lawyer Marc Elias. In recent years, he has successfully brought together a coalition of left-wing nonprofit groups to work in conjunction with each other on elections. It’s a brilliant plan considering the left now dominates much of the legal system to give him victories; in urban areas they have more judgeships, they dominate state bars which are responsible for attorney discipline, and they run the biggest, most powerful law firms.

The reason they have taken over state bars is because while conservative attorneys are more likely to have families and be involved in church, taking up much of their free time, liberal lawyers are not, so they have more time to volunteer and serve on state bars’ boards of governors and committees. The left also controls large law firms for similar reasons. Without family and church obligations, they can devote long hours to achieving required billable hours.

Marc Elias again. Wasn’t he in some other drama recently?

Of interest given past discussion:

Lumber Prices Slump With Rising Interest Rates

Wood prices were a leading indicator of the supply-chain problems and inflation that followed pandemic lockdowns. Prices shot up in the summer of 2020 as cooped-up Americans remodeled en masse and demand for suburban houses soared. By last spring, lumber cost more than twice the prepandemic high. Now, two-by-four prices are flashing caution.

Lumber futures for July delivery ended Friday at $695.10 per thousand board feet, down 52% from a high in early March. On-the-spot wood prices have plunged, too. Pricing service Random Lengths said Friday that its framing composite index, which tracks cash sales, fell about 12% last week to end at $794. That is down from $1,334 in March, just before the Federal Reserve raised interest rates for the first time since 2018.

Fascinating idea:

The Mafia Tactic that Brought Down CNN

Of late, the State appears to be an analogue to the mafia. For one piece of evidence, we can look to the inclusion in its main repertoire a mob tactic once used only sparingly: the bust out.

A bust out is a mob tactic whereby a business-owner becomes indebted or obliged to a mobster, who subsequently coerces the business-owner to finance criminal operations on his company’s credit. After multiple refinancing options and mortgages, the mafia burns down the overleveraged business and collects the insurance money.

The pre-eminent example of the State acting on its new modus operandi is CNN. With the arrival of the Zucker regime, the State attained effective control of the company and immediately initiated a credibility bust out on its brand, leveraging every ounce of its reputation to serve the various enterprises of the State, until the network became a laughingstock that was disowned even by stalwart Democrats and go-along-get-along suburban paper-pushers. Years of outright lying and transparent propaganda (Russiagate; the Covington kids farce; the Rittenhouse trial; and many, many others) obliterated the last pretense CNN could cling to for promoting itself as a “straight-shooting, down the line” news network.

Going along with the mafia theme, this article was referenced:

The End of Progressive Intellectual Life

How the Foundation-NGO complex quashed innovative thinking and open debate, first on the American right and now on the center-left

The centralized and authoritarian control of American progressivism by major foundations and the nonprofits that they fund, and the large media institutions, universities, corporations, and banks that disseminate the progressive party line, has made it impossible for there to be public intellectuals on the American center-left. This is not to say that progressives are not intelligent and/or well-educated. It is merely to say that being a progressive public intellectual is no longer an option, in an era in which progressivism is anti-intellectual.

If you are an intelligent and thoughtful young American, you cannot be a progressive public intellectual today, any more than you can be a cavalry officer or a silent movie star. That’s because, in the third decade of the 21st-century, intellectual life on the American center-left is dead. Debate has been replaced by compulsory assent and ideas have been replaced by slogans that can be recited but not questioned: Black Lives Matter, Green Transition, Trans Women Are Women, 1619, Defund the Police. The space to the left-of-center that was once filled with magazines and organizations devoted to what Diana Trilling called the “life of significant contention” is now filled by the ritualized gobbledygook of foundation-funded single-issue nonprofits like a pond choked by weeds. Having crowded out dissent and debate, the nonprofit industrial complex—Progressivism, Inc.—taints the Democratic Party by association with its bizarre obsessions and contributes to Democratic electoral defeats, like the one that appears to be imminent this fall.

Consider center-left journals of opinion. In the 1990s, The New YorkerThe NationDissentThe New RepublicThe Atlantic, and Washington Monthly all represented distinctive flavors of the center-left, from the technocratic neoliberalism of Washington Monthly to the New Left countercultural ethos of The Nation and the snobbish gentry liberalism of The New Yorker. Today, they are bare Xeroxes of each other, promoting and rewriting the output of single-issue environmental, identitarian, and gender radical nonprofits, which all tend to be funded by the same set of progressive foundations and individual donors….

Meanwhile, in one area of public policy or politics after another, Progressivism, Inc. has shut down debate on the center-left through its interlocking networks of program officers, nonprofit functionaries, and center-left editors and writers, all of whom can move with more or less ease between these roles during their careers as bureaucratic functionaries whose salaries are ultimately paid by America’s richest families and individuals. The result is a spectacularly well-funded NGOsphere whose intellectual depth and breadth are contracting all the time.

The left has become a gigantic echo chamber.

About the cultural issues facing us:

The Ugliest Form of Antagonism…and It’s for You

Now we see the full destructive force of antagonist culture.  We begin to feel what it is like to live without freedom of speech, association, and other basic rights.  We now understand the effects of the destruction of gender distinctions, and we see how the teaching of CRT can divide society and turn the young against their history and traditions.  We see the breakdown of law and order as gangs of young thugs pillage stores and attack helpless citizens stripped of police protection by “defund the police” movements.  We see elderly persons on their way to church beaten and killed by those who kill for pleasure.

And to all of this, the American left, infected by the culture of antagonism, is callously indifferent.

Church of Cowards?

You think it’s obvious that things are totally nuts. But if the people with whom you associate week in and week out knew you stood against things like critical race theory, transgender reassignment for young children, and canceling folks who won’t take an experimental “vaccine” would immediately silence you, shun you, and find a way to get rid of you. You look around, sadly shake your head, and realize that it’s even worse when you leave church on Sunday.

People populating pews in many churches across America today shy away from talking about issues near and dear to them because they don’t hear anything approaching “speaking the truth in love” coming from the pulpit. There’s even a large cross-section of evangelicals who say that Christians should not be involved in politics, so they avoid it at all costs in church. Too divisive.

One prelate I follow actually went there, even if his premise is ignorant of false flags and MK Ultra. The first seven minutes are what needs to be said. The rest is better than the other two sermons I heard this past weekend on the Ascension:

LUKE 1:39-56

39In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a city of Judah, 40and she entered the house of Zechari’ah and greeted Elizabeth. 41And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit 42and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy. 45And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.” 46And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, 47and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; 49for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. 50And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation. 51He has shown strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts, 52he has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree; 53he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away. 54He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, 55as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity for ever.” 56And Mary remained with her about three months, and returned to her home.

The enemy excels in creating and controlling distractions to keep we the people’s focus off the truth; they attempt to shift our focus away from their wickedness and onto their false narrative by creating staged scenarios that beg for an emotional response.

  • The fight for abortion “rights” create an emotional response for “women’s rights” while ignoring the fact they are murdering children for a satanic agenda.
  • The “war” in Ukraine creates an emotional response that begs for more government intervention while ignoring the true enemies here at home and their plan to destroy our Country from within.
  • The uptick in shootings keep people focused on violence, providing an emotional response that begs for more “gun control” and attempts to disarm we the people.
  • Monkey Pox and COVID keep people focused on fear, providing an emotional reaction that begs for more “government protection” and censorship of any who speak against their fake science.
  • The perpetual cry of “racism” keeps people divided and creates an emotional response that calls for more silencing of the truth through political correctness and social justice.
  • The January 6th “Committee” keeps people blinded and creates an emotional response that keeps people from understanding the 2020 election was stolen from the duly-elected President, Donald Trump.
  • UFO discussions keep people focused on what’s “out there” while keeping people from realizing what’s right before us: The WHO’S plan to strip America of her sovereignty.
  • Food shortages and gas prices keep people fighting to simply survive and creates an emotional response for more governmental assistance and dependence on those who wish us harm.

While [they] are good at creating distractions, knowing their playbook gives us the advantage. Knowing the TRUTH gives us an even greater advantage.

Faith dispels fear.

The enemy keeps attacking, but they’ve forgotten one major thing: God has ALREADY won the war. Satan knows God has already won, but that doesn’t stop him from speaking lies.

Stay focused on the truth. Stay focused on the Gospel.

We are winning the war, or they wouldn’t be trying so hard to change the narrative.

In a sea of disinformation, the truth is our only bulwark against the tactics of the enemy.

Stand strong and keep fighting through the distractions…we’ve already won, but we must continue keeping on!

Just thought I’d throw that in there.

Okay, where are we in the week? Wednesday….

Lou Dobbs interviewed General Flynn about all sorts of things. Unfortunately, it’s an Apple podcast, so here’s a link for those who can access it.

How long is it going to take before that border is sealed?

Looking away from Ukraine for a bit, BioClandestine is moving on to Taiwan.

But most importantly, what is so valuable in Taiwan that would warrant the Biden to engage in direct war with China over an island on their border, when he is in the middle of a proxy war with Russia already?

As we have known for months, China has threatened to do it, Trump said it as well; military action is going to happen in Taiwan. Myself and others talked about this back in February. What’s in Taiwan?

Yup, you guessed it. US funded biological laboratories. Russia and China have both been vocal at the UN about the US global biological network.

Most notably, the Academia Sinica in Taipei. The advisory board chair is American, 3 other board members are American, 1 is German, 1 is Australian, 1 is Swiss, 2 are Japanese and only 1 is Taiwanese. This lab is responsible for a reported lab outbreak of C19 being carried in rodents that infected a lab worker back in Dec, 2021.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10295903/amp/Taiwan-Covid-Virus-leaked-security-lab.html

Keep a sharp eye out for what comes out of Taiwan. If China’s military moves into Taiwan, I GUARANTEE they secure the biolabs and they will look to expose any US biological activity.

The question does remain whether or not western press will cover the whole thing properly.

At this point, a flowchart is needed to keep track of the Durham revelations.

Pelosi needs to read a Catechism. The death penalty, when no other option is available for the safe incarceration of a criminal, is allowed. Catholicism 101.

Oh, yeah all the self proclaimed leaders of the world are hanging out in Switzerland.

Sundance brings this forward about Davos:

It is important to remember the ultimate goal of the ‘climate change’ promotors (World Economic Forum) is not an energy system that changes the global climate. The goal of the ‘climate change’ group is to create a carbon trading system; a new financial mechanism (a global tax program) to control human activity on a world-wide basis.  This system also needs a digital identity in order to work {hint-hint}.

You cannot tax, or trade, things you cannot track.  As a result, there was always going to be a need for an individual tracking and monitoring system that would connect to the global digital identity and determine the carbon footprint.  The carbon taxing and trading system will be more financially lucrative than any stock exchange or monetary banking system.  It is the ultimate human control mechanism, and the preferred way to redistribute wealth under the guise of global equity.

Listen to a Canadian diplomat talk about this:

When I took chemistry, carbon was considered the building block of life. Of course, this was back in the 80s before the term “Ozone Layer” was part of the national vocabulary.

We all know what is going on.

Shh! That’s supposed to be memory holed.

Is bi-partisanship dead if it really was a thing to begin with?

America is Regressing into a Tribal Society Rife with Acrimony, Anxiety and Suspicion

For nearly five decades, while the Republican Party and establishment conservatives reveled in their “civility” and “bipartisanship,” an increasingly socialist/Marxist Democrat party, media/entertainment complex, and education establishment has been conditioning two-plus generations of Americans to look to the federal government as the source of salvation, opportunity and rescue in times of difficulty.  This has created an ever-growing mal-educated, susceptible and easily exploited segment of the citizenry that by the turn of the Twenty-First Century was large enough to impact the governance of the nation.

The next step was to inculcate guilt and societal animosity in what was once a tolerant multiracial nation that had overcome its past.  Their success is undeniable as they have successfully manipulated and alienated the Black and minority populations by demonizing and scapegoating the white population….

After decades of improving race relations, America is rapidly regressing into a tribal society rife with acrimony, anxiety and suspicion spawned by a return to racism and bigotry.

Among the most important dates in the Civil Rights Movement was August 28, 1963, and the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.  Little did those of us who were there understand or appreciate that day would be historic, not only because of the electrifying oration delivered by Martin Luther King Jr. but that this singular event would mark the beginning of the end of institutional discrimination and racism in the United States and the near-unanimous national affirmation that everyone must be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.

Nor could the bulk of those involved in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s ever fathom that beginning in the 2000s the American Left and the Democrat party would, with forethought, maliciously and incessantly exploit the nation’s past and undermine the achievements of so many.

More on this topic at American Greatness.

The Wall Street Journal just published a farewell column by its Washington bureau chief Gerald F. Seib, who is leaving his post “after three stormy decades.” Although Seib believes “our democracy has always adapted and can do so again,” his column deals mostly with the stormy weather that is now battering this country.

“America’s political system is fractured and polarized, and reasonable debate seems to have given way to mindless shouting,” Seib writes. “Democrats seem unable to hold on to older rural voters, Republicans unable to talk to young urban voters. The unsubstantiated claims that the 2020 presidential election was somehow stolen from former President Donald Trump represents a dangerous cancer growing inside the body politic.”…

Seib appeals to bipartisanship in the same way as my leftist academic colleagues 40 years ago invoked moral equivalence in the struggle against the Soviet Union. Everyone was supposedly equally to blame for communist aggression and tyranny, but Western countries were perhaps a little more guilty for whatever reasons the Left could come up with. In the same way, Seib cites the “cancer” of disputing the 2020 election returns and strongly suggests that if the elections this year become “corrosive,” that may be due to Trump’s mischievous complaints about the last presidential election.

Not surprisingly, a kindred spirit, Bret Baier, celebrated Seib on Fox News after his valedictory was published. Baier strongly affirmed both Seib’s call for bipartisanship and his attack on the “dangerous cancer” of disputing the last presidential election.  It would seem that acceptance of the official results of that contest is a precondition for making our society and government sound again. Seib also looks back with nostalgia to the “bipartisan stewardship” that made the budgets of the Clinton era possible. Perhaps we could return to that high point in American history once we get past our reprehensible gerrymandering and the “cancer” of Trump’s dissing the vote counters.

Allow me to note the following relevant points: Democratic presidential candidates, perhaps most stridently Hillary Clinton, have refused to concede their defeats in past elections, but such denials do not constitute for our retiring Journal columnist a “cancer in the body politic.” Ever since her defeat in a Georgia gubernatorial race in 2018, black activist Stacey Abrams has been angrily contesting her loss and attributing it to racist Republican administrators. Why isn’t Abrams’ denial and incitement to racial strife an irritant worthy of mention?

Well, all is not lost.

ACTS 17:15, 22–18:1

1715Those who conducted Paul brought him as far as Athens; and receiving a command for Silas and Timothy to come to him as soon as possible, they departed. 22So Paul, standing in the middle of the Are-op’agus, said: “Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. 23For as I passed along, and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, `To an unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. 24The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in shrines made by man, 25nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all men life and breath and everything. 26And he made from one every nation of men to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their habitation, 27that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after him and find him. Yet he is not far from each one of us, 28for `In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your poets have said, `For we are indeed his offspring.’ 29Being then God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the Deity is like gold, or silver, or stone, a representation by the art and imagination of man. 30The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all men everywhere to repent, 31because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all men by raising him from the dead.” 32Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked; but others said, “We will hear you again about this.” 33So Paul went out from among them. 34But some men joined him and believed, among them Dionys’ius the Are-op’agite and a woman named Dam’aris and others with them. 181After this he left Athens and went to Corinth.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

And from JP….

Dear KAG: 20220524 Open Thread

Cover Image: Summer Vinyard by Nanette Biers.

Popping back in to do the dailies.

Where to start. Let’s see….

Some clean-up from last week:

Yeah, here’s the thing about that…bishops have to resign. Cordileone could be pulled into the Vatican for a different job, but he can’t just be removed.

As for the timing of the whole Pelosi-Holy Eucharist episode (which Pelosi ignored as expected, thus putting her in real danger of being excommunicated which will be played as a political move even if it’s really a pastorally corrective measure), Archbishop Cordileone explains:

“With all that’s going on right now – with Dobbs v. Jackson and the leaked opinion [suggesting] that Roe could be overturned – why make this decision now?” Gloria Purvis asked Cordileone in an interview for America, the magazine of the Jesuits of the United States.

“The leaked decision and the Dobbs case really have nothing to do with the timing of it,” the archbishop responded Friday.

He noted that Pelosi had spoken with him “a couple of times” over the years, but he lamented, “more recently, her advocacy for codifying the Roe decision into federal law—it’s becoming more and more extreme and more and more aggressive.”

“I’ve been trying to speak with her about this,” Cordileone added in the America interview. “I’ve been debating this within my own conscience for many years, actually. So this is not something that has just come up recently. I’ve been discerning this.”

That was reported on American Thinker over the weekend as well.

And…Archbishop Vigano chimed in on the World Health Organization treaty thing:

In the coming days, the Nations that adhere to the World Health Organization (WHO) will vote on resolutions regarding the WHO’s management of pandemics. These resolutions will transfer sovereignty regarding the health of citizens to a supranational body that is largely financed by the pharmaceutical industry and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

If these resolutions are approved by a majority, the WHO will have exclusive international authority in the case of a pandemic to impose all the rules, including quarantines, lockdowns, obligatory vaccinations, and vaccine passports. It should also be borne in mind that this organization enjoys immunity, and thus its members cannot be either tried or convicted if they commit crimes. Unelected technocrats will paradoxically have more power than that which citizens confer on their representatives by means of their democratic vote.

Given that the yielding of sovereignty is considered the crime of high treason by the laws of every nation, and that parliaments may not legislate against the interests of the Nation, much less violate the natural liberties and fundamental rights of the citizens whom they represent, I believe that it will not escape anyone’s notice that this attempt by the WHO to appropriate a power that properly belongs to individual nations is intended to impede any sort of opposition to the “Agenda 2030,” which in the field of healthcare also aims to accomplish the drastic reduction of medical and hospital services, the privatization of the health industry, and disease prevention by means of vaccines.

Oh, my.

Truthfully, the treaty probably doesn’t do that, but the people in positions of power will pretend that it does.

So, Revolver published a fairly long piece which is completely worth the read (okay, it’s pretty important) when it comes to how the left is weaving the disinformation narrative. It covers a lot of the lies and incest when it comes to that, but in truth, one of the more interesting aspects of it is in the financing realm.

In this piece we see reference to the same narratives, election integrity and Covid skepticism, that DiResta previously lumped in with ISIS and terrorism, perpetrated by vaguely defined alleged malefactors like “QAnon boosters” (whatever that is) and, Heaven forfend, “pro-Trump influencers.” DiResta backs up her shocking claim, that misinformation is essentially a right-wing problem, with a Harvard study. Without wasting too much of our time on it, we dug up the specific Harvard study DiResta references.

Immediately we note that the Harvard study DiResta cites in support of her remarkable claim that misinformation is exclusively a right-wing problem is funded by George Soros’ Open Society Institute, among other similar “philanthropic” organizations.

ALWAYS follow the money.

Breitbart did that, and….

EXCLUSIVE: Bill Gates Poured Millions into Dark Money Fund Attacking Elon Musk

Research exclusively shared with Breitbart News identifies hundreds of millions of dollars flowing from Bill Gates’ foundation to 11 of the 26 organizations that signed an open letter last month urging Twitter advertisers to boycott the company if Elon Musk restores free speech on the platform.

Breitbart News’ report, based on research and analysis from the newly-formed Foundation for Freedom Online (FFO), analyzed public filings to trace hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions from the letter signatories back to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

In total, 11 of the 26 anti-Musk organizations received funding from a Gates-backed entity.

The New Venture Fund, which in 2020 received the largest one-year commitment the Gates Foundation had made in more than half a decade, funds four of the signatories:

Two other signatories are tied to Gates Foundation money:

The open letter’s connection to the billionaire Microsoft founder is significant, as Gates is in the middle of a public feud with free speech advocate Musk. Last month, Gates revealed his $500 million short position against Musk-owned Tesla, prompting Musk to call Gates a “b*ner” killer alongside a meme of Gates as a pregnant man emoji.

Meanwhile, in Davos:

Multiple reports claim that the event is poorly attended. Why is a matter of speculation.

REVELATION 21:1-5

1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband; 3and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling of God is with men. He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them; 4he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away.” 5And he who sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Also he said, “Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

PSALMS 95:1-7

1O come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! 2Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! 3For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 4In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. 5The sea is his, for he made it; for his hands formed the dry land. 6O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! 7For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. O that today you would hearken to his voice!

JOHN 10:22-30

22It was the feast of the Dedication at Jerusalem; 23it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the portico of Solomon. 24So the Jews gathered round him and said to him, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” 25Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness to me; 26but you do not believe, because you do not belong to my sheep. 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; 28and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30I and the Father are one.”

Dear KAG: 20220518 Open Thread

Welcome to Wednesday.

A few things Ukraine related came up, so here we go.

From Archbishop Vigano:

We come then to the Ukraine crisis, which is presented to us as a consequence of Vladimir Putin’s expansionist arrogance towards an independent and democratic nation over which he is trying to claim absurd rights. The “warmonger Putin” is said to be massacring the defenseless population, who have courageously arisen to defend the soil of their homeland, the sacred borders of their nation and the violated freedoms of the citizens. The European Union and the United States, “defenders of democracy,” are therefore said to be unable not to intervene by means of NATO to restore Ukraine’s autonomy, drive out the “invader” and guarantee peace. In the face of the “tyrant’s arrogance,” it is said that the peoples of the world ought to form a common front, imposing sanctions on the Russian Federation and sending soldiers, weapons and economic aid to “poor” President Zelensky, “national hero” and “defender” of his people. As proof of Putin’s “violence,” the media spread images of bombings, military searches, and destruction, attributing responsibility to Russia. And there’s still more: precisely in order to guarantee a “lasting peace,” the European Union and NATO are opening wide their arms to welcome Ukraine as members. And in order to prevent “Soviet propaganda”, Europe is now blacking outRussia Today and Sputnik , in order to ensure that information is “free and independent.”

This is the official narrative, to which everyone conforms. Being at war, dissent immediately becomes desertion, and those who dissent are guilty of treason and deserving of more or less serious sanctions, starting with public execration and ostracism, well experienced with Covid against those who are “un-vaxxed”. But the truth, if you want to know it, allows us to see things differently and to judge the facts for what they are and not for how they are presented to us. This is a true and proper unveiling , as indicated by the etymology of the Greek word ἀλήθεια. Or perhaps, with an eschatological gaze, a revelation , an ἀποκάλυψις.

Except that boots on the ground are claiming the narrative is baloney.

French former Marine returns from Ukraine shocked

Speaking to French radio station Sud Radio, Adrien Bocquet said he had witnessed “a lot of war crimes“. All those war crimes were committed by Ukrainian soldiers and not by Russian soldiers, he pointed out. Bocquet is therefore enormously alarmed that Europe is sending weapons to Ukrainian neo-Nazis. They wear all kinds of Nazi symbols on their uniforms. They do not hide these symbols. What is more, they boast about them, he said.

“I worked with them and gave them medicine. Do you know what they said? That they would skin Jews or blacks if they had the chance.” This certainly does not align with the mainstream narrative of saving “democracy” and “our values” in Ukraine.

“People can say whatever they want. I was there. I saw what happened there,” emphasised Bocquet, who says he has made many dozens of videos of war crimes. He saw in a barn Russian prisoners of war who had been beaten and tied up. “Fighters from the Azov battalion asked them who the officers were. Each Russian soldier was shot in the knees with a Kalashnikov. I have videos that prove it, otherwise I would not dare to say such a thing.”

Officers were immediately shot in the head. “That’s how it goes, at least in the Azov battalion,” the French ex-marine said.

He went on to say that he had seen an American cameraman blatantly staging footage and the Ukrainian army hiding ammunition in homes at night without informing civilians.

The “aid package” for Ukraine is most definitely in jeopardy as the list of “lawmakers” in the Senate opposed to it grows.

Eleven Republican senators bucked their leadership and voted against a motion advancing a $40 billion security assistance package for Ukraine on Monday, a sign of growing GOP opposition to U.S. efforts aimed at countering Russian President Vladimir Putin’s bloody three-month-old invasion there….

Ten other Republican senators joined Paul in voting against the motion to advance the security package on Monday; many of these senators made supportive statements about Ukraine’s plight following Russia’s invasion:

Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.)
John Boozman (Ark.)
Mike Braun (Ind.)
Mike Crapo (Idaho)
Bill Hagerty (Tenn.)
Josh Hawley (Mo.)
Mike Lee (Utah)
Roger Marshall (Kan.)
Tommy Tuberville (Ala.)

The list of lawmakers hindering aid to Ukraine has been steadily rising over the past month. Last week, 57 Republicans voted against the Ukraine assistance bill in the House. Two months ago, only three GOP House members voted against a separate security package.

With all luck, this is a piece of legislation that will die in the Senate as per tradition.

As it happens, “The Great Reset” was actually previously identified by Frenchman Renaud Camus. He sat down with Benjamin Braddock to talk about it:

Renaud Camus: The Great Replacement is not a theory at all, but just a sad fact, a ‘chrononym’, i.e. name for an epoch after its most important phenomenon, indeed replacism (or more exactly globalreplacism), mainly developed in my most recent book La DépossessionDispossession. It rests on the observation that replacement, the substitution of something else to everything and the replacement of everything by something else, is the central gesture of modern societies, at least since Taylorism and Fordism, and probably since the First Industrial Revolution. Think of how writers are replaced by intellectuals, intellectuals by journalists, journalists by TV-show hosts, marble by chipstone, stone by concrete or plaster, wood by plaster, or plastic, the signature material of global replacism which spoils even the depths of the oceans; Venice by Venice in Las Vegas, Las Vegas by a fake one in the deserts of Spain, Paris by a cheaper mock version next to Peking (which is much safer to visit these days) and so on.

Neither the Great Replacement nor global replacism are conspiracy theories — the phrase is infinitely too limited for what they are — but global replacism is indeed a theory of the machination, the substitution of machines (and computers) to men and women, i.e. the dehumanisation of humanity, or what I call today davocracy, the management of the human park (in the words of Peter Sloterdjik) by Davos, bankers, international finance, multinational companies, pension funds, hedge funds, Big Five, and all kind of more or less private powers. Henry Ford, much admired and much imitated by both Hitler and Stalin, had the brilliant idea of making clients out of his workers: consumers out of his producers. Post-fordism and global replacism go one step further, and, out of the producer-consumer, they make a product: man, woman, humanity and post-humanity — the most precious of all goods, the consumer. The number one requirement of davocratic replacism is the general exchangeability of the product. Hence the urgency of the absurd dogma of the inexistence of the races, which has become the main point and the modern form of antiracism, at least in Europe, and which, of course was made possible, for antiracists, only by taking the word race exclusively in the incredibly narrow, purely biological and pseudo-scientific meaning to which it had been limited before by the worst kind of racists. And now that the races have been successfully taken care of and suppressed, at least conceptually, it is very obvious that the current requirement of global replacism is the inexistence of the sexes.

Roe v. Wade news was quiet on Tuesday, but this surfaced as a reminder of the mentality of those in the eugenics movement.

Twitter….

What does the board at Twitter have to hide if they won’t answer the question.

Oh, and there’s a new book deal:

Do these people actually listen to what they are saying?

Unfortunately, Dean, no it’s not.

Coming from a La Leche League household, I’m not going to argue.

Before I forget, there was a really good one posted at American Thinker:

Liberalism and the Problem of Evil

No one can speak of evil without mentioning its attraction to the Democrat Party, which is now the party of official racism in America.  Political evil is a contagion of psychological immaturity, self-delusion, and counterfeit justification, and its virus has spread throughout America’s liberal ruling class.  Its influence has scoured our nation of its fundamental values, and leftists are intent on creating a state apparatus that facilitates the separation of children from their parents, criminals from justice, and citizens from the Bill of Rights.  This is a call to Marxist socialism that has no past and no possibility of a future.  This is evil come to do business with the Democrat Party, and it is evil on a national scale.  Civilization must protect the weakest, but leftist ideology targets and crushes those who are unable to resist the powerful forces of state coercion.  There is no civilization on the far side of Marxism.

Modern liberalism is a template for the genesis of evil that is now possible in democratic systems.  It is a product of the intellectual syphilis that comes from inbreeding elitist populations.  Liberals have already written the script for America’s decline and fall, and there is no suggestion of a democratic ending.  The people are the nation: that is what democracy looks like.  The people, at first, create the government they want; but at last, and by slow degrees, government creates the society it needs.  It is the fate of democratic societies that allow, by their own election, the assassins of freedom into the center of government.

Liberal democracy has become its own caricature, an imitation of its original promises now so distorted that it serves only to exaggerate its own deficiencies.  Liberals are trapped in their delusions with no way out.  That is why they panic and scream at the least provocations.  As liberalism itself has shifted its social and political doctrines more into alignment with the theoretical plane of Marxism, its votaries have taken the concept of democracy into the socialist regions of hell.  If it were a play set upon the stage of history, democracy would be performed as a tragedy in five acts: the first act being a declaration of principles; the second act creates constitutional structures and fundamental law from those original intuitions of enlightened moral intelligence; the third tests those structures in periodic conflicts over power; the fourth finds them vulnerable to infiltration and overthrow by political corruption, despotic ambition, and foreign influence; and the fifth act yields to Tyranny his triumph.  We are presently in a crisis in the fourth act of our drama.

Unfinished minds are enthralled by the finality that modern liberalism brings to western civilization.  To associate the fundamental principles of democracy with twenty-first-century liberalism is not unlike the dialogue of fire and water: the one enlightens but the other extinguishes.  The liberal argument of power does not translate into the language of democracy.  There was a time when liberalism embraced and guarded the fundamental values of the “free citizen,” but that time is not now; and it is no longer possible to separate the concept of liberal democracy from its totalitarian impulses.

The term “liberal democracy” is an intellectual vanity, an academic exercise in the power of redefining the terms of justice.  Conservative thinking, however, scorns the liberal practice, recognizing that the fundamental principles of democracy must remain free of ideological tinkering.  The principles of democratic order are what they are, recognized and graven upon the sacred memory of the world, existing apart from any conceit of dogma.  The function of conservative government is to secure these free-standing principles of democracy under the protection of law, not to preserve the ideologies that would appropriate them for political uses.

Have a good day y’all.

LUKE 12:22-31

22And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat, nor about your body, what you shall put on. 23For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. 24Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! 25And which of you by being anxious can add a cubit to his span of life? 26If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? 27Consider the lilies, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28But if God so clothes the grass which is alive in the field today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O men of little faith! 29And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be of anxious mind. 30For all the nations of the world seek these things; and your Father knows that you need them. 31Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things shall be yours as well.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

I have all sorts of stuff in open tabs, so I’m just going to plop things here.

First up: Dr. Judy Mikovitz has been working on making her presentations more user friendly as it were. Here she is with David Nino Rodriguez issuing a warning to humanity. It’s a Bitchute video, so you’ll have to click on the link. Sorry.

Next: the potentially likely overturning of Roe vs. Wade….

Sebastian Gorka read a nice chunk of the text of Justice Alito’s draft on his podcast, and to be perfectly honest, it is STUNNING. Alito’s writing is just a thing of beauty, and really this ruling should be required reading for all as the reasoning for the decision is going to be lost in getting to the headline, not at all unlike the 1968 encyclical Humanae Vitae which upheld the Church’s teaching on artificial contraception. It’s a shame, really, because HOW one gets to such a decision is just as important as the decision itself.

For those who would prefer to read the draft, here is a link.

Really, I just like listening to Gorka’s voice.

Then there’s Kathy Barnette vs. THE BIG CLUB. Don’t kid yourselves, that’s what this is.

Religious Conservatives, the Ugly Stepchildren of the GOP

Cynical GOP strategists have for years exploited the votes of religious conservatives while disdaining their values. Turn on MSNBC at random and you are likely to see some former GOP poohbah trashing religious conservatives. Figures such as Nicole Wallace, Steve Schmidt, and Michael Steele made their careers in the GOP even as they harbored utter hatred for members of its base. Under George W. Bush, who won reelection in part on a promise to religious conservatives that he would fight gay marriage, the chair of the Republican National Committee for a time was Ken Mehlman, who later came out as an LGBTQ activist.

In the milieu of the upper echelons of the GOP, contempt for religious conservatives is common and spills out the moment one of them becomes relevant. Just look at the frenzied assault on Kathy Barnette in Pennsylvania. The same GOP strategists who gave us Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mitt Romney tell us that she is intolerable. A Republican Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, Barnette has surged in recent days not in spite of her religious conservatism but because of it. Unlike her more socially liberal counterparts in the primary, she did not respond to the news of Roe v. Wade’s apparent collapse in a flatfooted manner. She used the moment to tell her story as a child of rape and advocate for the defense of all unborn children, not just the ones conceived under favorable circumstances.

That she might win the primary has the country club Republicans (many of whom now pose as MAGA supporters) up in arms. For all their talk of “minority outreach,” they don’t want a politically incorrect black Christian woman representing them. They have pronounced her “unelectable,” not because she deviates from the platform of the party, but because she adheres to it more fervently than they do. They find her defense of a Judeo-Christian America embarrassing.

This fits a familiar pattern: socially liberal Republicans, who have a long record of losing races, declaring a religious conservative politically unviable and then trying to prove it by undercutting that candidate. This is what passes for “savvy” in the GOP. Never mind that the savaging of Barnette will only help the Democrats should she win the primary.

It’s not like the GOP didn’t have over a year to come up with a better strategy to counter the candidate with patriotic appeal:

Kathy Barnette is no Johnny-come-lately in the GOP primary: she announced her candidacy over 13 months ago, on April 6, 2021, which should have allowed plenty of time for vetting. Recall that McCormick has been in the race only since January. Dr. Oz didn’t announce his candidacy until late November. Unlike Oz and McCormick, Barnette also has previous experience running for office: she was unsuccessful in her 2020 congressional bid in Pennsylvania’s 4th District, which can be forgiven since the district is reliably liberal. Her experience as a political commentator has also put her squarely in the public eye. As such, she has already faced public scrutiny, and there is no excuse for the other GOP candidates to have waited until the month of the primary election to begin conducting opposition research.

Moreover, it is notable that Barnette had closed the gap with Oz and McCormick nearly a month before the May debate. By April 15, she had clearly separated from the rest of the pack, moving into third place in polling, just 7 percent behind the frontrunners. Part of her rise since that time could be indicative of dissatisfaction with McCormick and Oz, with voters seeking a legitimate alternative. This spike in momentum again should have warranted some opposition research, and once again, the GOP candidates were negligent.

Twitter….

Bioclandestine talks a bit about the strategy behind counting the bots:

I’ve said it since the beginning, Elon’s moves and counter moves are too highly calculated and methodical to be a happy coincidence. Not only is he taking over the machine, he’s exposing it on a global stage.

For those who are unaware, the Twitter deal is on hold, as Elon is is demanding proof on the amount of bot activity on the site, as this will lower the amount of true human engagement and therefore the amount of possible/target revenue. Which would lower the value of twitter and therefore lower the offer from Elon.

What Elon did was genius, and also further confirms this is about more than money. He offered a number so outrageous, knowing full well that there was heavy bot activity, knowing he could make them agree to terms, and then later get the buying price lowered while simultaneously exposing Twitter for using false accounts to manipulate public opinion.

A conventional businessman would have made them prove the bot activity before the offer price, but Elon is not in this for profit. This move he just made CONFIRMS he is looking to expose a greater conspiracy here. His moves and counter moves are calculated 10 steps ahead of the enemy. Sounds a lot like US MIL to me. I mean, Elon is quite literally their highest paid contractor.

Another substacker put up a piece analyzing the bot move:

There is an interesting game of chess going on here between Elon and the management of Twitter over the proportion of accounts on Twitter that are “genuine”—that is, real people—as opposed to various kinds of automated accounts or information warfare sock puppets.

Both sides know a lot more than they are letting on, and both are playing a game of chess over it.

On the surface, it matters a lot because Twitter, as a public company, has made statements to its advertisers and investors through the years about the size, growth and makeup of its Twitter account user base, and if it is revealed that they “fudged the numbers”, there will be hell to pay.

Now that a well-heeled buyer is involved with doing due diligence prior to closing a transaction to take Twitter private—it really matters in a legal sense, too.

Is the number of “fake” accounts 5% or less — as Twitter itself claims — or is it closer to 50%?

And then Elon himself chimed in, although not so much about the bots:

And then Project Veritas dropped this:

ARegarding the shootings over the weekend:

Well…a great man has something to say about that.

More on Pennsylvania:

$57 to fill my gas tank. I’d say we’re headed in the wrong direction.

Yeah, that’s a lot of splash for competition.

Just wait….

Something to remember, always.

Per the boss’s instruction:

I’d throw in a few Rockefellers and Rothschilds also.

Of course, this does not mean committing felonies, but standing up to the forces that want to tear this nation – and humanity apart. The very people XVII told us will be destroyed by the time this movie comes to an end are currently roaming the halls of power…supposedly. It’s a sickening sight.

ACTS 14:19-28

19But Jews came there from Antioch and Ico’nium; and having persuaded the people, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead. 20But when the disciples gathered about him, he rose up and entered the city; and on the next day he went on with Barnabas to Derbe. 21When they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Ico’nium and to Antioch, 22strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God. 23And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting they committed them to the Lord in whom they believed. 24Then they passed through Pisid’ia, and came to Pamphyl’ia. 25And when they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attali’a; 26and from there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work which they had fulfilled. 27And when they arrived, they gathered the church together and declared all that God had done with them, and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. 28And they remained no little time with the disciples.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, cast down to Hell Satan and all his evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Amen brother.

Did I ever put this one in a post?
