Jury Verdict, Clinton Lawyer Michael Sussmann Found Not Guilty of Lying to FBI

The acquittal is no surprise. This is a DC jury, after all. In the Roger Stone case, for example, we documented how a juror lied to get on the panel. (That judge didn’t care.) Making matters worse, the Sussmann judge wrongly allowed for a woman to remain on the jury, despite the fact that her daughter and Sussmann’s are on the same high school crew team. One can’t help but think that juror had her own daughter’s interests in mind – the cohesion of the crew team, sparing her of teenage drama, etc. – when she reached a decision.
After the verdict was announced, the jury’s forewoman held court before the media and expressed her displeasure that the Special Counsel prosecute a false statement case: “There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI.”
This juror was never impartial – despite her assurance to the judge.
On the facts, the evidence was more than sufficient to prove Sussmann’s guilt. Sussmann lied to then-FBI general counsel James Baker via text message in order to get a meeting to pass the Alfa Bank hoax materials to the FBI.
Before too many people get in a tizzy complaining that justice was not served, consider the reality that we are in an information war as described by Clif High in an old video that surfaced recently. The Sussmann trial accomplished a number of things as described by any number of pundits on Tuesday.
- Hillary Clinton was outed as the person who ordered the whole operation.
- The FBI was outed as being used for political purposes.
And…the one that really needs a spotlight shone on it:
Another brick or three or five was taken out of the wall of trust surrounding government institutions.
The Justice Department, the courts, etc., are a cesspool of leftist activism, and the people are seeing that.
It’s called RED PILL CITY.
That in and of itself is a massive SCORE! for our side. The people are waking up.

This check and balance that the mechanism of democracy is meant to provide may have functioned at some point in the country’s past, but that’s not how the United States government actually operates today. The majority of our government’s day-to-day decisions are not made by the legislature or even the President. The elected officeholder is not even the one regularly exercising discretion. Today, those decisions are handled by the technocracy, which is safely tucked away in our government agencies, i.e. the permanent bureaucracy that has come to be known as the deep state.

Their unending assault on religion has produced the least religious generation, the Millennials, in American history. They are obstructing any and all viable attempts at increasing our energy production, though we are awash in untapped oil, gas, and coal reserves.
They are very close to attaining their most mind-blowing victory yet: Getting anyone who so much as questions the man-caused, irreversible, global warming dogma to be considered a close-minded ignoramus. As it stands, the president is, by executive fiat, embarking on a path of bankrupting the United States for what even the global-warming-besotted “scientists” admit will be no significant benefit. Except that we are already 30+ trillion dollars worse off than “bankrupt.”

Even before all the details of the barbaric attack become public, enough is known to ruin the reputation of the Uvalde Police Department for failing to respond quickly and refusing to immediately mount a counterattack on the 18-year-old murderer (who deservedly shall remain unnamed). Those issues and the cultural and/or psychological pathology behind such mass murder are topics for another occasion. Today I wish to address the vulnerability created for schools and churches by the misguided policy of “gun-free zones.”
The problem and its solution are demonstrated in the experience of two small churches in Texas. In November 2017 in Sutherland Springs, Texas, the First Baptist Church was attacked by a gunman who killed 26 with an AR-15 rifle he illegally purchased. As a felon convicted of domestic violence while in the U.S. Air Force, he was prohibited from purchasing a firearm. He did so anyway because the Air Force failed to submit the court-martial conviction to the FBI’s database that is checked before a firearms purchase. His killing spree was ended by Stephen Willeford, armed with his AR-15, who shot him after he left the church. Willeford was called to the church by his daughter and arrived just in time to catch the murderer fleeing the scene in his car. He gave chase in another volunteer’s pickup truck and when they eventually cornered him the killer committed suicide.

Has Scott been attempting to comment? I have wondered where he and FG&C might be.
Scott has stopped making any “normal” comments. Early on, he made 5 or 10 normal comments that were let through. Since then, the only thing he posts are occasional responses to comments (like yours here) that mention him, which attempt to justify his position that he can “strike first” on FG&C, or disagreeing with moderation, or making insinuations about certain people here, specific or vague.
As I’ve said before, if he does start making normal posts again, I encourage his fans to NOT tempt him into making the kind of comments that will be trashed.
FG&C has not attempted to post here at all.
I’m quite happy with the way things are working. There is no talking me out of this policy. People cannot attack, bait, or “get the goat” of other people here. I will used my discernment to figure out when people are doing this. If they do, they get a warning to stop, and if they persist in any way, I simply add my layer of moderation to help them post normally.
I am going to live up to the policy that Carl states in his post every Sunday.

Well, I was being a bit sarcastic but … if the FIB (Baker) knew of the remote portal in Perkins Coie D.C. office, then the lie wasn’t a lie designed to mislead – it was a line in a plot. If it’s not the way Durham laid out, then it wasn’t deception. Ergo, it wasn’t materially false.
Durham used the case and his authority to elicit loads of evidence that can be used in many other cases. Sussman ain’t home free; the evidence just revealed at trial is more than enough to charge a whole slew of people with criminal RICO, not to mention how much help it gives DJT’s RICO lawsuit.

The way I see it is thus: If it is legal for the FBI to lie to you (and I have been told that it is) then it is not a crime if I lie to the FBI. No government agent should have special privileges that are illegal for an ordinary citizen. That goes for everything from speech to personal self-defense.

Sundance is 100% correct. This trial was based on the Mamet principle: pretending not to know. The sole source of incriminating evidence was Baker, who pretended not to know that Sussman was lying, eliminating materiality.
This is how messed up the country is, Sussman was correctly acquitted because of the ruling class corruption.

Yep. Now take it a step farther and understand why I posted that we need to take the gloves off and publicly call out these a-holes and every aspect of their lives in every public medium and location. They need to be highlighted and ridiculed out of society.

All of a sudden listless and whimpering in pain. Called vet and they kept saying they were busy, then she died. 9 weeks and 2 days old.
My son’s very first puppy and that happened. Had to throw out everything of hers, bleach the floor just to be safe even though she was in a pen. The cost alone for her and the supplies and vet was a lot. Dont know when we will get a puppy again. I have to spray the yard with virucide when it get here. Couldnt bury her bc of the parvo. She is being cremated.

My dog seems fine I stopped giving him the flea tick meds because on the back of package said it can cause seizures.
Pup had it bc it was incubating. Breeder refuses to respond to me. Have to watch out for any meds you give your dog.
Try a really reputable breeder or just get a mutt from a shelter. I always have and they made the best dogs.

One point that is being overlooked in the Sussman verdict. A liberal D.C. jury in effect nullified the charges brought against the defendant. We may not like it but we too have that option available to us as well. The notion of nullification was intended to void actions carried out by the government that had no constitutional standing. The constitutional/libertarian side of me appreciates that in that it is how we can block things that come down from on high.
I know some may say that he lied to the gov’t and that is illegal, BUT
why are they allowed to lie to us? Double standards and rules for thee, but not for me do not fly with me.

Double standards should never be tolerated. Equal protection under the law used to mean something. That it why I have no problem with the jury nullifying the verdict.
I do think he lied, it was proven in the proceedings. The jury exercised their rights, even though it was probably out of political bias. Evidence is now on public/court record for further trials down the road. I never expected him to be convicted, but I don’t think Durham did either. He did, however, shine a spotlight on things that are now on the official record and that is worth more going forward than nailing a small fish.
Since the Supreme Court has already included lying within the zone of protection of the First Amendment, why didn’t Sussman’s attorneys file for dismissal based on the statute being unconstitutional?

To anyone who was following the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard defamation cases, the jury returned their verdict at approx. 3:30 EDT.
The jury returned with a sweep for Johnny Depp on his defamation case against Amber Heard and awarded Johnny Depp $10 Million in damages and $5 Million in punitive damages, which is capped by VA law at $ 350,000.
The jury returned 1 defamation count for Amber Heard on her defamation case against Adam Waldman working as an agent for Johnny Depp. She was awarded $2Million in damages and ZERO in punitive damages.
I didn’t pay much attention, but I’m glad it’s over. ☺️

Throughout the trial I found myself comparing the similarities between Amber Heard and Jodi Arias and after seeing the mountains of evidence, I do believe that Johnny Depp came very close to suffering the same fate as Travis Alexander.

I ask the dude, “marking down the eggs”? “No, they are expired, being donated.”
My reply, “expired or not, them eggs are just fine, or they couldn’t be donated”. Confirming, he smiled.

Point being, “expired” date(s) on food does NOT equal food IS bad. It is most always not. Discernment is our friend.
