I occasionally see people write a reply to a top level comment, and it ends up well down the page from what they were responding to, because there’s a huge “tree” of replies, replies to replies, replies to replies to replies, and so on. So they post their reply and don’t seem to realize it’s actually in the right place, indented one from what they were responding to albeit way down the page.
That’s what I thought you were saying, so I thought I’d reassure you you did exactly as you intended…but now I’m not sure I understood you correctly.

What bothered me was the hysterical instantaneous accusation of racism against a person he did not even know.
Literally millions of people have been thoroughly brainwashed into Pavlovian behavior.
It is also bothering that the firing is NOT the “message” which will be broadcast. The “message” will be ‘”do not show your support of Trump or you will be confronted by crazy, violent people.” So in an odd way the publication of this incident teaches the wrong “lesson.”

I put a Trump sign in my yard for weeks in 2016 in my DeomoKKKrat town/area, but I do not think I would in 2020.

Then on May 8th of 2017 I dared to criticize Sundance’s writing style, which is bad enough that I could rarely finish one of his longer posts. I had already spotted a howler of a basic error in one of his posts, and called him on it–he never said “Oh, right I was wrong about that” but he never repeated that particular error.
May 8th of 2017 is 600 days ago.
And I found many, many people were getting banned, especially over Q. Now I’ve seen multiple theories put forward on this; some maintain Sundance just can’t stand being second fiddle prognosticator to anyone; others think it’s some clever ploy to kick us out before the government could get to us (way oversimplifying).
Regardless of the cause, here we are, and on this 600 day “anniversary” of my losing my branch over there, I want to, from the bottom of my heart, thank Wolfm00n for setting up a new tree and allowing me to pick a branch.

Me, too. I have enjoyed The Q Tree more than CTH. While we may not have as many commenters as OT and thus don’t have quite the breadth of experience spread throughout the branches, we don’t have the troll infestation troubles, either. And with a smaller group, we can get to know each other a little better and have a little more in depth discussions, and they are interesting, too. I think it is a good trade off.
And I don’t have to feel like I have to walk on eggshells, either, so that Wolf doesn’t lose his sh!t or something. It is a warm and welcoming place to discuss politics and Q theories and I am grateful to Wolfmoon and to each QTreeper for making this a really cozy place.

Wolf allows us to freely speculate and mull over thoughts and ideas. I stopped posting OT because my admittedly simple thoughts are “low hanging fruit” and without fail someone would use them to make themselves look superior.
There are so many mysteries and unknowns in the universe and I enjoy reading what everyone has to offer here. Many of the posters OT presented opinion as fact.

i used to be a Pollyanna when I was younger ( till i literally got it beaten out of me). I reclaimed some of it as my life changed–as it is known to do.
Then I saw Donald Trump descend that escalator and my happy spot grew exponentially. I was thrilled to find the Tree house–and share with like minded people my thriving optimism that things were really gonna get better for our country.
It seems as the popularity of the tree house grew tho, the bright light of optimism started to fade.

I did learn from reading this article about an important SJ expression unfamiliar to me, and that would be “pinkwashing.” Here it is used in context FTA:
