A long time ago, a musician named Larry Norman had his world rocked so much that he spent his music royalties starting a halfway house and buying clothes and food for people that he shared the gospel with on and around Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. He longed to see other musicians of his day find a better life too. (see video)
He was a WYSIWYG kind of a guy.
During the 60’s a whole lot of young people explored what they thought was freedom only to discover heartbreak, disease and disillusionment. The Sex, Drugs, Rock N’ Roll lifestyle was NOT a WYSIWYG kind of life.
Some believe that it was as mothers and grandmothers raised up a cry to God for their wayward children, that He sent an answer in the form of something called The Jesus Movement. God did not cause these wild flower children to suddenly long for suits, ties, and church pews. Instead they filled streets and beaches with their own expressions of faith.
They hated hypocrisy with a passion. They wanted to be WYSIWYG people. And these are the kind of people most of us are drawn to. If you ask anyone why they love President Donald J Trump, they are likely to say something about his WYSIWYG style of living.
The salt of the earth people can recognize and want to be around other salt of the earth people. Like attracts like. Or something like that.
The Jesus Movement wasn’t the first innovative move of God birthed out of Los Angeles. The Azuza Street Revival exploded out of prayer meetings in 1906 and had an impact world-wide. We would be wise to keep our eye on California. It may birth some things that appear to be diabolically inspired, but God was there first and He will have the last word.
Just short of two decades ago I happened upon this old gravelly voice guy from New York and instantly knew he was of the WYSIWYG breed. I didn’t care if he seemed over-the-top intense or that when he got going he started to rock like those guys with top-hats and long black beards at the wailing wall in Jerusalem. Back then he was just beginning to get a vision for a movement of young people fasting and praying for a new Jesus Movement to come and fill the earth. Just recently he’s shifted gears, but he’s still got his passion to see this come to pass.
Some of you will have the time and inclination to watch the following video, please do. It’s rare to see a man at his age still burning with real passion. For the rest of us, I’ve queued the video to 37:43 where he is telling about dreaming of the impossibility of turning America back to God, and then he was given encouragement to believe it was possible.
If you are able to watch just those few minutes, you may get the jist of his WYSIWYG reality. (The dwarves reference is to Lord of the Rings when Bilbo’s comfortable life is interrupted and an adventure begins.)
Here is a guy that “saw” something bigger than himself and he chose to believe it was possible. And he may just live to see it come to pass. And so we have the second meaning for WYSISYG. Will our vision dictate to some degree what we will get?

I am turning into my mother. She used to say that we needed a spiritual revival in this country and we needed to pray for one to get us back on track. I thought it was a curious thing to think and to pray for, truthfully.
And now, I have found myself thinking that and praying for that over the last few years.
Doesn’t it seem unusual that so many of us here have so many similar thoughts?

From The heartbeat bills thruout our Nation to the Fire in the Notre Dame Cathedral–THe magnifying glass is now on JESUS and the WW persecutions of His followers…
One of the takeaways of the Notre Dame fire…I Never knew the Crown of Thorns was housed there…But now the magnifying glass reminds us…There IS a crown of thorns–that JESUS wore!! And we are reminded of this during HOLY WEEK!..WYSIWYG! Indeed!!

True relic is not worshipped. To me the relic is a visual reminder not that some of it need it.
The church in general had visual reminders all around the church in stunned glass and statues to tell the story.
I call them old-style cartoons. The great strength of the Catholic church is teaching.
The songs repeat until they become part of you. As Deplorable Patriot so beautifully explained this week, all the of senses are captivated by the experience in their churches.
I believe that is why the enemy of our souls worked so hard to infiltrate and defile or downgrade these experiences for the people of the church.
Faith can make things real… It is all a matter of perspective.
I think it is highly doubtful, pgroup, and besides, I don’t think the Lord wants usthinking about relics or old bones, Etc. Sad about Notre Dame, though–a piece of history, and in my opinion, it can never be what it was. It was such a shock to all of us.
Yes, indeed. What T3 and Marica said. I had the same reaction to hearing about the Crown of Thorns and thinking how timely that was to be connected to Notre Dame.

You know, when I stumbled across this stuff a year or two ago, I was repelled and thought, “Gosh, people are cray cray. The ideas they come up with.” And I forgot all about it until now. Reading the opening post and watching the videos and all made me think of it.
How the worm has turned. I find I am more open to considering these theories now because, well, just about everything I have believed about our government has been clouded so thoroughly by what has been done by the Deep State to President Trump that I find myself questioning everything now.
I’m not saying I believe it all hook line and sinker, but I find myself squinting my eyes all Suspicious Cat like and wondering. Especially since the guy who has done the most research into it died.
Well there has definitely been a concerted effort to destroy us…from within and from the outside.
And degrading our society has been part of it.

The next Jesus movement will be different and go back to basics. The movement will embrace Jesus but will reject the hierarchy of the church.
I heard a tape many years ago by Brother David Standle – Rast. He lives in a Benedict Monastery upstate NY. He is a Hermit. He wrote a wonderful book “The Grateful Heart.” Open your Heart and blessings will await us.
I think we have seen ever so slightly the church the physical church crumbling and its hierarchy exposed.
We are made for the heart of Christ we need the heart of Christ and we will come back and embrace it but in a new way. Actually the new way has begun.
Jesus was a simple man not into gold and riches. We will find Jesus in our need and pain.

Excellent! Based on several things related to the idea that “they” were trying to insert Manafort by taking out Corey Lewandowski using Michelle Fields, I had estimated the “intense research” on Trump began in December of 2015, so very close.
The Iowa caucus on Feb 1 likely started freaking people out, and by Super Tuesday (March 1), people were panicking about Trump. That explains Fields on incident on March 8 and her reporting it 3 days later.

t3, I went to bed about 9:30 but I could not sleep. I had been trying to think about our world without corruption. I have read, studied and prayed all of my life for this time to come. This is the first time that I have actually believed it is coming now.
The corruption has always just grown. As I prayed and tried to imagine what His Kingdom coming and His will being done, on earth as it is in heaven, I couldn’t really get a clear picture of what our lives will be like.
I got up at 11:30 to see if anything had happened that was different. It seems we are still waiting for tomorrow to find out if we are finally going to get to clean things up.
I tried to think of times in history that things had been cleaned up. There were a few times over the years where it seemed hopeful, but things soon reverted to corruption.
I want the corruption gone. I want us to be able to love each other and live our lives the way God intended when He created us. I want us be able to take delight in the world we have been given to care for and to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
When we carry a baby inside of us, one of the things we do is imagine what our child will be like. I remember just staring at my new born baby and marveling at the perfection and the detail. My imaginings had come nowhere near the actual fact of the living child. I believe this will be like that. Every day will be a marvel. Living in a world without corruption is more than I can think or imagine. I long for the time when we finally get to experience the fullness of the world Our Father created and live our lives as He intended. I find it appropriate that this is happening at Easter. Jesus Christ is risen. Amen
It’s time to ask for dreams from Heaven. To pray big prayers.

My little kiddo’s class had their first play on a stage wit “real microphones!” this week. Puppies in costumes with made up faces, songs, lines, and doing all of this up in front of parents and grandparents. Eeek! Everyone participated which was great. Mine ha a rock song with his little group and did some extra dancing which made people laugh. When youre that little, everything is cute and mistakes are fairly easy fixes. The weight of THE WORLD is not at your feet because us gatekeepers rightly do our duty. The world of children is sacred.
Mine said to me at bedtime essentially that “we cannot be greedy and bad because Jesus was in the cave until (dog) GOD rolled away the stone and then he went to heaven. He does all kinds of good things and we have good things in nature and dont have to have a giant chocolate bunny, just enough of one.”
Our POTUS and his gatekeepers are there to protect the country so our children can have the future we all hope for. I sure hope tomorrow, for everyone’s sake, the gatekeepers throw all the righteous truth back at the ds.

I dumped Chase years ago and never looked back. My local bank I had opened my account with had been merged and merged and merged so many times I couldn’t remember how many banks my accounts had been under. When Chase took over – before the sub-prime mortgage crisis of ’08 – they slammed my free checking account with fee based checking option, the least customer friendly account they had. It took some work but firing Chase was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The toll of fighting every month with the Leviathan to fix their mistakes and policy change treadmill isn’t worth – my time, energy, and happiness is more important than their efforts to squeeze and extract more fees and money from me in the hope that I either don’t notice or give up fighting with them. Sad thing is if they had just treated me (their customers) right they would’ve had a loyal customer.
I had a business account with another bank that Chase swallowed up. I moved out of that account the same day I learned about the take-over. My intuition told me to get out and fast.
In fact, just this week I got the same prompting about PayPal and Bank of America. Closed those accounts the same day.

I know I have been obsessing about “Mayor Pete” for President. But yesterday in the NYT they broke a story about how the Dims are all worried that Bernie is going to win the nomination.
After 2016, the Dims made some changes in their nominating process eliminating the superdelegate votes on the first ballot; if it goes to a second ballot the superdelegates vote. I think I have this straight. And they are afraid that Bernie might win, or just as bad if he doesn’t win on the first ballot and it goes to a second one and Bernie loses, they worry the Bernie Bros will march out of the convention and refuse to vote for the Dim nominee.
So, they have been having secret meetings with Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, some big donor named Schwartz or something like that, Neera Tanden the Center for American Progress broad, and MAYOR PETE. It’s all about unity, don’t ya know?

Most Dealerships have several lenders lined up for their customers to get financing from.
Agree it was a suspicious cat event for me. Not only was I annoyed she was doing business with Chase, but there were no choices offered. I had to curb my outrage to not ruin her first new car moment. A statue of the Virgin Mary was decapitated in a small French village yesterday, the latest in a deluge of anti-Christian attacks in France which numbered almost 900 in 2018 alone.
The statue, located in the commune of Marlhes, was beheaded despite being made of cast iron with metal reinforcements.
According to a report by LeProgres, the vandals “had to be well equipped” to cause the damage. It had already been damaged last year as a result of a fire.
The local resident’s association has vowed to repair or replace the statue. The perpetrators have not been caught.
“Two churches were vandalized per day,” said Lepante, adding, “This government, this regime….including the Pope, including the cardinals, shut their mouth, say nothing when our churches are being vandalized, and in contrast, the minute there is a mosque that has a pot of pork sausage in front of it, there’s immediately arrest and prison for the person who did it….apologies from the whole of France, the stigmatization of racism and so on, it’s an absolutely unbearable double standard!”

I suspect you are right, she is one of Don’s. But most of them have PDJT’s mouth. It is so distinctive and obviously it is a dominant gene. And yes, all the grandkids look interchangeable! It’s adorable! He has such a beautiful family.
It’s one of the things that kind of sealed the deal for me with PDJT during the campaign. His family. You don’t raise a bunch of kids like that if you have serious character issues. Despite all the divorces, he obviously raised great kids. And it had to be difficult given the divorces, the wealth, the fame.
Yes absolutely, Syl…his children are a reflection of what a great Dad he is, and a great man.
You can do everything right and still have your kids turn out with problems. But you don’t often see kids turn out really great WITHOUT there being some excellent, excellent parenting.
It impressed me then, and it impresses me now. I’m glad he has such a loving wife and family to support him and bear him up through all The Swamp has drug him through.
I hope the tooth fairy brings him a new tooth, otherwise his braces are gonna be painful, poor fella. 😩
