The RINO’s Dilemma
The RINOs who who have burrowed in and taken over most GOP organizations, from the state down to local organizations, have quite a dilemma on their hands, and most of them have their heads too far up their asses to realize it.
OK, I’m not talking about the liberal in a Republican area, who knows they’re in the wrong party, but is there because it’s the only game in their town; they hope to capture a nomination someday, at which point they’re guaranteed to be elected…otherwise, they never will be. These people are a hazard in any heavily conservative area.
No, I’m talking about the guys who are a little bit conservative and want to do some good by going into politics, and they’re in a closely matched area, closely enough that they can join the party they are most aligned with and still have a chance. They think the Democrats…particularly the ones who end up running for office…are nuts.
They don’t think much better of the Deplorable types, either. A bunch of bumpkins whose hearts are in the right place, mostly…OK a bit extreme. But they think Deplorables can’t understand that first you have to get elected, then work within the system to change things…a slow process. They genuinely want many of the things Deplorables want…just not as much. The government is spending too much. Or they need to spend money on highways instead of welfare for illegal immigrants. But they want to work within the system to get these things done.
Or maybe they think things are pretty close to ideal right now, and they want to nail it in place.
The problem is, that means they don’t stand for anything in particular. And it shows. They’re about as unappetizing to the electorate as a puddle of dog vomit. The folks in the middle, who they think they are appealing to because they themselves are not extreme, would honestly prefer a clear-spoken radical to someone who qualifies everything they say to the point where they sound like they don’t believe anything at all.
The problem these “Mild RINOs” have, is they just can’t see that. And the reason they just can’t see that, is their entire sense of self-worth is tied up in not seeing that. In their minds, they’ve worked tirelessly for their party, to keep those crazy Democrats out…only to have to constantly fight with a small number of crazy Republicans–who are only liabilities if they end up as candidates. They’ve fought the good fight, and if they can just find the right candidate, someone with some charisma, they might stop the crazies…without being too beholden to the OTHER crazies. In the meantime it’s not working. What’s a responsible guy in politics to do?
They simply cannot understand that the Republicans can’t succeed as the party of nothing in particular. Not really in the past, and certainly not today when people are starting to realize that no matter what they do in the voting booth, the country is still about to fly off a precipice. If they did see it, they’d suddenly have two choices: Go away and let the GOP succeed, or stay and fight. But “go away” isn’t really an option, because what’s the point of having a party now owned by the crazies, win?
Well, they have a dilemma…and WE, therefore have a problem. And we would have that problem even IF they realized that they had a problem…that they were the problem.
No one ever thinks they are the bad guy. Even Epstein probably thought he was the good guy. Right up to the moment where he didn’t kill himself.
So if you ever wonder why these unappetizing dufuses cling on even when their fingernails are being left behind…that’s why. They don’t understand no one wants them, and can’t imagine that no one should want them. And oftentimes their greatest pride is in all the hard work they’ve done for the party. They’re not going to give that up; it’d be psychological suicide.
If you’ve worked with these people, there’s a good chance you like them and consider some of them your friends. But even if so…we’re going to have to give them a good, hard shove. Because America is more important than those milquetoasts’ egos.

We had ONE human-to-human transmission of Ebola on US soil the last go around. Everyone involved (except the poor nurse that got it) should have been fired, asset-stripped, and all involved facilities razed. And the dumbass that she caught it from should have been stripped of US citizenship and either shipped back into the epidemic or just incinerated. The plane that flew him to the US should be sterilized and the organization that arranged the flight should be gutted.
The idea that you can play pattycake with such pathogens as part of a normal career development needs to be swiftly eradicated.

From what I’ve read, the Wuhan BSL-4 probably wasn’t actually functional.
They were working in BSL-2’s and 3’s, it’s suspected. This work goes on whether facilities are secure or not, imo.
As facility designers we were tasked with creating space that gave scientists safe places to create their work. Often, the researchers were working under very dangerous, self created conditions, where ever they were assigned space: inadequate space/equipment clearance, unsafe power solutions, inadequate and dangerous sanitary waste disposal, lack of containment and improper ventilation/filtered exhaust, improper hazardous material storage, lack of emergency showers/eyewash, to name a few conditions that I’ve seen scientists actively working in.
The institution saw liability, the researchers weren’t always so concerned. They are driven by their work, rather than safety.
Labs are not always big buildings. Many are carved out of small areas within existing buildings and are often less than a 2000 SF. They can be, (and are) anywhere an institution can find under utilized space.

This is the bridge from the eastern tip of Crimea, across to Russia–or more specifically Russian territory from before the war. it’s not the connection to the north into what, under Catherine the Great was called Tavrida or Chersonesus (Kherson). That’s actually a land bridge or isthmus.

Breedlove is not the first to call for the destruction of the Kerch Strait bridge. An opinion piece published in the New York Post by Iulia-Sabina Joja with the Middle East Institute, a nonprofit think tank for which Breedlove is also listed as an expert, said that Ukraine needs to destroy the Kerch Strait bridge in order to “sever the strategically important land bridge” that Putin is trying to establish between mainland Russia and Crimea.

From reports on line it looks like a bomb was planted on a rail tanker of diesel fuel.
If they have enough of those highly accurate rockets, a good response would be to take out all the civilian administration offices in every big city.
Such things are in well known locations and too big to be relocated and their removal would cause chaos.
I would expect a more “in kind” response. There have to be bottleneck points for war supplies going into Ukraine.
Ukraine and NATObama/SOROS are trying to separate the Russian areas of “Ukraine” (ha-ha – “Wolf Propaganda Quotes” – I can play the game, too, as a third party) from Russia. Russia can separate the Ukrainian areas of “Ukraine” from Europe. This is a more justified response, IMO.

I’ve read that storage in a microwave oven cuts off signals, if that actually works then a tin box would likely do the same, and be more portable. Switch off first though as apparently if cut off from signals the phone automatically turns up the power trying to communicate, and will drain the battery quicker.
Five minutes at 1100 watts should do the trick.
Add upper and lower grills, and convection, and you should be good to go 😀

More usefully, a microwave oven is a Faraday cage. It’s set up to stop the microwaves from leaving the oven when the door is closed. Even the front (which is see-through) is actually a mesh of metal, the holes are small enough the microwaves don’t get through.

Provided the phone works on similar frequencies, it works. If the phone, on the other hand, uses much higher frequences/shorter wavelengths, that front mesh won’t stop it. But an all metal box with solid sides, will.

I dragged out the concept of the vector cross product in two or three of my “physics” series (which actually ranged into chemistry, astronomy and cosmology as well, hence the quotes). In particular parts 5 and 6.
Post-1894 installments, I backed off on the math, for the very good reason that I don’t understand a lot of it. There are things like spinors, which have to be rotated 720 degrees (not 360) to get back to the way they are, tensors, and on and on. These are all rather different entities that are incompatible with each other
Well there is apparently ONE style of mathematics that encompasses many of these. If you recall, Maxwell’s equations describing electromagnetism come as four equations. You can get that down to two with tensors. But in THIS new (to me) style, they can be expressed as ONE equation.

The “outer” product here (which apparently, is more commonly called the “wedge” product) is very very similar to the cross product except instead you get a surface of the same area as the length of the cross-product’s normal vector, normal to that normal vector (so its int he same plane as the two vectors you are crossing), and there’s a rotation that follows the right hand rule. So in one way, it’s just another way to visualize the cross product. Except that THIS exists in more than just R3.
The point being that the wedge/outer product might just complement the dot product better than the cross does.
This really looks as if it could be the Swiss army knife full of power tools.

Mind control and social control have been constant topics of discussion on this site for some time. I have come across two articles that cover both topics under a single theme. These articles by the same author who promises a Part III on how to fight back is forthcoming. Two of the major concepts require definitions: “bare life” is living life as merely a biological organism with not spiritual or intellectual component. Mentcide is murder of the mind, primarily by psychological conditioning. These two articles are goldmines of relevant information. Almost every paragraph has “nuggets” of value. It will take some effort to read these articles but for those who do you will be rewarded.
A quote from Part I:

I haven’t watched it, so I might not have the proper context.
People are videotaping their loved ones as they die? That’s the last thing I would think of doing, and if I thought of it, I would quickly nix the idea. IMO, it’s an invasion of someone’s privacy and an assault on their dignity during their last moments, unless they request it. Hospitals don’t have camera or video equipment trained on patients, so I don’t know where the videos would have come from.
The cameras seem to be surveillance cameras and the deaths are caught on tape. It seemed to me that the people may have been having a seizure, I don’t know. It was the impression I got after having watched my dog have seizures.
So the theory is that the people had not been hospitalized but were going about their business in locations where there were surveillance cameras at the time they died. The seizure idea seems plausible.
When the people look upwards and over their shoulder a bit, seems a bit weird. If they were having a blood clot in their head, it seems that it would cause that reaction. After that, when then fell (like the Chinese did in their original videos) their body started shaking like a seizure. The clips were short and not hard to watch.
That was odd. The few that I’ve seen of people collapsing on stage or on the sports field haven’t done that. Most fell backwards or crumpled to the ground
I agree, even when the Chinese were falling to the ground in the beginning they didn’t look up. The guy with the water bottles probably tripped over them, the lady in the chair at the table seemed to fall out of the chair. So sad.
It could be that the people who just crumpled had a heart attack.
It’s all so terrifying. Especially if whatever is causing the system to go berserk is unprecedented…the “usual” symptoms such as clutching the chest or putting a hand to the head or even reaching out to nearby people is absent.

Seizures are that way, no warning to the person having them, they aren’t in pain and are unaware it is happening. The seizure can’t kill you, at least according to the neurologist my dog went to for his. He had grand mal cluster seizures and required an intervention to come out of them. The increased activity would cause his blood sugar to drop significantly, could cause heart attack.
The seizure itself can’t kill you, but its consequences can.
You don’t want to have one while swimming, for instance, or rock climbing.
For sure! My dog had 21 seizures (I actually stopped counting at 21) before I was able to have him put down. It is difficult to lift or handle a 100 pound German Shepherd and get them into the back of a car while they are seizing.
Even with a companion therapy dog alerting to the oncoming seizure there was little time to prepare.
