God’s Grace is Sufficient
Grace is “undeserved favor.” The grace of God is His granting of good things to those who only deserve punishment. The word sufficient means “adequate” or “enough.” Grace being sufficient speaks of the grace of God that grants salvation, preservation, and everything else that the believer needs in this life and in the life to come.
Sufficient grace is a description of the grace of God as revealed in Scripture. The only time the two words are used together in Scripture is in 2 Corinthians 12:9. Paul had some form of physical affliction that caused him real difficulty. No doubt he thought he would be able to serve the Lord more effectively if he did not have this physical ailment to slow him down. He says he asked the Lord repeatedly to take it away from him, but the Lord’s answer was “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” In other words, in this case, God showed grace to Paul not by removing the ailment but by giving him the ability to endure it. In response Paul says, “Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
The concept of sufficient grace is that God’s grace is adequate (sufficient) for anything we need. First, we need salvation and forgiveness of sin. God’s grace provides that for all who will accept it. Then, the believer needs grace to live the Christian life. God’s grace is sufficient here whether the believer experiences poverty or plenty, pain or pleasure. Often, Christians wonder how they could possibly survive persecution and hardship they have read about in other times or hear about in other places. A Christian might wonder, “If I had a gun to my head, would I deny Christ?” If all that was at work was human determination, it might be a toss-up at best. But the Christian can rely on the fact that God’s grace will be sufficient for the hardship when it arrives, even if it may not be in evidence before.
No Christian is inherently sufficient. Every Christian, left to his own devices, would fail miserably. “Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God” (2 Corinthians 3:5). When the time comes, God’s grace will be sufficient to carry the believer through whatever he or she may encounter. By focusing on the sufficient grace of God rather than human frailties, Christians can face the future with confidence. With Paul, Christians can enthusiastically embrace their own insufficiencies, knowing that these insufficiencies will push them toward the all-sufficient grace of God.

SALLY Q 🌻 UPDATE
We had a rough weekend – !
Sally was hostile and refused meds and food all day on Friday. She called her Dad and me vulgar names. The look in her eyes was scary – out of it.
Around midnight, I finally woke her and got her to drink a Boost shake and take her meds. She only agreed to do this when I told her if she had a low blood sugar crisis, I would call the EMTs and they would take her to the hospital and when she came out, she would be put in the nursing home because she would not cooperate and let us care for her.
While on the Fentanyl, she had become more and more difficult even for Sabrina, her longtime caregiver to handle. She was incoherent much of the time. She had dreams that she thought were real. She cried a lot, and was hostile when we didn’t or couldn’t meet her demands.
Because of all this, Dad and I decided to take Sally Q off the transdermal Fentanyl patch and go back to hydrocodone for pain and Lorazapam for agitation/irritability.
The more the Fentanyl got out of her system, she became more coherent, cooperative, and less hostile. She ate a full meal, used the bathroom, and things were more tolerable and less stressful for us.
Dealing with the Friedreich’s Ataxia, heart disease, diabetes and cancer, plus working out pain medication side effects, and behavior issues is a complex situation. It feels like being an air traffic controller at a major airport.
I just updated her Hospice nurse case manager about all this via email.

It sounds like stopping the Fentanyl patch was a good idea. Especially since stopping it, and putting Sally Q back onto hydrocone and Lorazapam, she is more cooperative. But the complexities of her condition still make things difficult.

BTW, opioids do make it difficult to distinguish reality from dreams in high doses. IOW, it’s not just a fentanyl issue. Also, video recording of her ‘bad times’ might help to shock her back to the good behavior side of the yard [so to speak].

The chief problem with “global warming” data is pretty simple, really. Many decades ago, monitoring stations were positioned around the globe, in empty fields and desolate places. Over the years, cities grew, airports were built, and roads were put in, in the places where the stations were. All of these “concrete jungles” absorb and then reflect heat, raising the temperatures measured by the monitoring stations. But that doesn’t mean the temperature of the PLANET is rising, it’s just the area where the monitor is.
People just believe the stuff they are told.

As early as 1991, there was evidence that station closure beginning in the 1970s [There is that magic Decade where the Cabal decided on Depopulation.] had added a permanent upward bias to the global average temperature.
SEE: Willmott, Robeson and Feddema (“Influence of Spatially Variable Instrument Networks on Climatic Averages, Geophysical Research Letters vol 18 No. 12, pp2249-2251, Dec 1991) They calculated a +0.2C bias in the global average due to pre-1990 station closures. Another paper by Ross McCormick, tests whether the homogeneity corrections in gridded (aka KRIGED) data are adequate to remove non-climatic influences and found they are not.

The left are pawns IMO. Transgenderism is ultimately about human mutability. Raising that to a high value by any means necessary seems to be somebody’s plan – masquerading child experimentation as a civil right is evil genius. Somebody thinks andro-gyno-borg is where it’s at.
