President Trump filed a $20 billion lawsuit against the network’s parent company Paramount for deceptively editing a ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris.

Trump will be paid $16 million up front, according to Fox News. 

Fox News reported:

“Paramount Global and CBS agreed on Tuesday to pay President Donald Trump a sum that could reach north of $30 million to settle the president’s election interference lawsuit against the network. 

“Trump will receive $16 million upfront. This will cover legal fees, costs of the case, and contributions to his library or charitable causes, to be determined at Trump’s discretion. There is an expectation that there will be another allocation in the mid-eight figures set aside for advertisements, public service announcements, or other similar transmissions, in support of conservative causes by the network, Fox News Digital has learned. 

“Sources close to the situation told Fox News Digital that CBS has agreed to update its editorial standards to install a mandatory new rule. Going forward, the network will promptly release full, unedited transcripts of future presidential candidates’ interviews. People involved in the settlement talks have referred to this as the “Trump Rule.” 

In October President Trump sued CBS News for $10 billion (now increased to $20 billion) for deceptively editing its ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris.

Fake news 60 Minutes was caught editing Kamala’s answers to make her sound coherent and normal.

In fact it was so bad that ’60 Minutes’ spliced her nonsensical answer and replaced it with a completely separate sentence she said earlier in the interview.

Gail’s post a few day back on her daily featured the Bad Land’s “Ghost” guy who laid out the makings of Bibi’s cabinet cobbled together from other parties more bent on destruction than even his own party, explaining each member of his cabinet, their background and their beliefs. It’s eye opening and explains much of what we are seeing today.

The problem is that there is no reason to believe any of those videos.

I don’t believe the translation on the first one.

I can’t tell what the second one is showing, it looks like two masked men and a civilian, but it’s blurry and I couldn’t see the video that was mentioned. But if they are claiming it is Israelis doing something to an innocent Palestinian, I don’t believe it, because I can’t. I think it’s propaganda.

The next one, the 29 year old who died of hunger? Why didn’t they give him a sandwich? If it was even true, it wasn’t just ‘the world’ that watched, it was also his own friends and family who watched him starve to death, and they bear the blame and responsibility. If it even happened, which I don’t have any reason to believe.

Next, the Israeli foreign minister saying Israel doesn’t target civilians, as a supposed civilian in Gaza appears to be blown up by a rocket strike. I don’t believe that either, 99% chance it’s A.I. Why would anyone waste a rocket that probably costs thousands of dollars (if not tens of thousands), when a sniper bullet would accomplish the same thing for about 10¢ ?

The next one, where two civilians are supposedly targeted by a drone strike with a missile. Why would anyone do that? Munitions aren’t free. So I don’t believe it, because there is no reason to believe it. It’s war-p0rn propaganda.

The next one, showing the silhouette of a little girl against the backdrop of a burning building. As with all the others, it is not possible to verify the video, or the claims made by the person posting it. It’s a war, and propaganda is one of the best tools islam has, because it’s the cheapest and most effective tool they have to manipulate public opinion.

It’s not only impossible to trust these videos, it’s crazy to trust them.

The next one, supposedly an Israeli drone playing the sound of a child crying, provoking good-hearted Palestinians to come out of their homes so the drone, carrying what looks like a modified AR-15 mounted to a platform, can shoot them. Not buying it, not even a little bit.

Next is a repeat of the two masked guys attacking what could be a civilian, but no video that I can find.

And finally, one last propaganda video, which fortunately, wouldn’t play.

What reason is there to believe that these, or a million more just like them, are real?

Any of them?

And if any of them actually were real, how would we know, or be able to distinguish them from the ones that are completely made up?

Until the hostages are released, there is no ‘out of proportion’ possible.

If you were one of the hostages, being starved and raped every day, and held underground without sunlight since October 7th 2023 — one year and nine months ago — you would not be in favor of being left for dead.

There is nothing being done to the Palestinians that is more inhumane than what is being done to the hostages. I don’t know what part of that anyone doesn’t understand.

They have the power to stop it by turning over the hostages. Every day that they don’t is an affirmative choice to be bombed into oblivion.

As long as hostages remain, the war should continue in full force, because what other possible leverage can there be to free the hostages.

I would obliterate Gaza, block by block, day by day, until the hostages were released, or there was no Gaza left, whichever came first.

If they had done that the first time HamISIS took hostages, the rag-heads would never have done it again.

It is a war the People of Gaza chose, and it is a war they continue to choose every single day, all 15+ months and counting.

They could have returned the hostages at any time, or never taken them in the first place.

Every day is Groundhog Day, the war begins anew every morning, both for the hostages and for the family and friends of the hostages.

The destruction of HamISIS, the inhuman monsters who took the hostages, is entirely justified.

The People in Gaza know who the HamISIS members are, and they know where they are.

At least some of the rescued hostages were being held in the homes of so-called civilians.

So the ball is entirely in their court. The war can be stopped at any time, by handing over the hostages.

Every day they choose not to return the hostages is another day they choose war.

Therefore the onus is 100% entirely on them. The blame, the accountability, the responsibility is entirely theirs.

What I don’t understand is why Israel has waited so long.

I would have given them until October the 8th to return the hostages, and if they did not, Gaza would have ceased to exist on October 9th.

I think the tide is turning. Pride month is now what it should be – a minor thing for a small minority of Americans.

Contrast with the Brandon-Obama-Kamala administration, which elevated Pride over Christmas, over July 4, over any other holiday. The way media and activists made it bigger than any national celebration was just weird, sick, and inappropriate.

I personally don’t mind groups having their own holidays, but when there is a weird over-promotion to the point of propagandizing, and forcing submission by contradictory groups, then things have gone way, way, way too far.

A large part of the increase of support for homosexuality beforehand, including Germany becoming the birthplace of the so-called “Gay Rights” movement, originated with a particular man, Karl Heinrich Ulrichs, who had been molested by his riding instructor at age 14 and attributed his homosexuality to a “third sex” instead of his molestation.

The Nazis were rabid evolutionists who insisted that the “German master race” should dominate other so-called inferior races. Belief in evolution has been linked to a decline of morality.

The American journalist H. R. Knickerbocker wrote about the homosexual Nazi leader Ernst Röhm: Röhm’s “chiefs, men of the rank of Gruppenfuehrer or Obergruppenfuehrer, commanding units of several hundred thousand Storm Troopers, were almost without exception homosexuals. Indeed, unless a Storm Troop officer were homosexual, he had no chance of advancement.”

Ernst Röhm was the only Nazi leader to address Hitler by his first name “Adolf” rather than “mein Führer” which helped prompt rumors that Hitler was a homosexual. The historian Lothar Machtan and others have uncovered historical evidence that suggest Adolf Hitler may have been a homosexual.

However, the sexuality of Hitler is a matter of scholarly debate and historians are divided on whether Hitler was homosexual, bisexual, heterosexual or asexual.

Later when Adolf Hitler came into power, he chose to persecute homosexuals in order to advance his notions of racial struggle.

Yet at the same time, Hitler retained some sexual deviants in positions of power within the Nazi leadership.

For example, Hermann Goering was known to dress in drag, paint his nails and put rouge on his cheeks.
Another example is the case of Max Bielas who “had a harem of little Jewish boys.

He liked them young, no older than seventeen. He had a kind of parody of the shepherds of Arcadia, their role was to take care of the camp flock of geese.

They were dressed like little princes…Bielas had a little barracks built for them that looked like a doll’s house…Bielas sought in Treblinka only the satisfaction of his homosexual instincts (Steiner:117f).”

Homosexuality was supported in Nazi Germany, although modern gay rights activists claim that an estimated 100,000 homosexual men were arrested for this crime, of whom approximately 5,000 to 15,000 were interned in concentration camps. See Homosexuals and the Holocaust for further details.

Paragraph 175 banned homosexuality long before Hitler was even born. As The Pink Swastika by Scott Lively and Kevin Abrams pointed out, 85% of Nazi homosexuals were of the Butches faction while the other 15% were of the Femmes faction, and as the Butches persecuted the Femmes, today’s LGBT movement is not monolithic either as they claim that drag queens offend the transgender.

Yet, according to some historians, homosexual men constituted the core of the Nazi Party in Germany. In contrast to the wimpy “swish” homosexual, Nazi homosexuals were ultra-macho or “butch”.

The OSS addressed the reason why so many homosexuals found the Nazi party inviting, this may be due to the fact that they are all fundamentally social outcasts and consequently have a community of interests which tends to make them think and feel more or less alike.

In this connection it is interesting to note that homosexuals, too, frequently regard themselves as a special form of creation or as chosen ones whose destiny it is to initiate a new order….

I mentioned something similar @ Sylvia’s at the beginning of last month: I’m in PNW but the Canuck side – I was dreading going to the mall close to where I live because of the month of June. On previous years, there would be a rainbow flag at one of the entrances and then the steps to the main level would be painted also in the rainbow colors. Image my surprise a few hours ago when there was no flag nor steps painted. Maybe it’s too early in the month (I’m pretty sure it happened at the beginning of the month at least the previous two years or so) so I’m crossing my fingers. The economy is pretty bad over here so that could be the reason.
As an update, there was no rainbox flag or other display at the mall – Walmart had some rainbow stuff (and maybe some other stores too). There was a Pride event pretty close to the mall (less than 5 min away) last Saturday (I had to pass by while going to the library) but at that time, it wasn’t crowded at all.

I honestly think it was the Trump effect – even on the other side of the border. Everybody KNEW this stuff was totally out of control, but Trump just started opposing all the insanity in his platform, then in law and in action after he took office, and VOILA – the left just backed down. I would not be surprised if even most gays thought that the pride stuff had absolutely “jumped the shark” last year. It was out of control on autopilot. It had gone from cringe to ghastly.

What we saw around here looked like maybe a decade or two ago. The amount of pride stuff proved to me that it was not being “suppressed” or driven underground, but at the same time, nobody was promoting it out of some need to show political correctness. Things were just sane again. It was awesome!

Four: Students in medical school routinely took tests (in-person encounters, then written exams) that use “Standardized Patients.” SPs are healthy persons who “mimic” different types of symptoms and are “examined” by the medical school student. The SP testing was performed before the student was cleared to start interacting with actual patients (in a controlled setting and under supervision.)
But that was routine until a couple of things happened: First, what, IMO, is the “dumbing-down” of certain areas of medical school course work, to “accommodate” medical school students who either aren’t really intelligent enough for medical school; or, for medical school students from countries outside the U.S.; Second, the increased use of “machine learning” in medicine.
Bottom line: the AMA is pushing for the use of AI for more and more of the work that physicians need to do — not just the coding/billing/”back office” things, but the actual diagnosing / prescribing / “plan of care” things.

On July 4th, Boston will rid its city council of another foreign enemy occupier. It took a while.
In 2019, future Councilwoman Tania Fernandes Anderson, a former illegal alien, became an American citizen. In 2021, she was elected to Boston’s city council. In 2022, she began complaining that there were too many white officials in Boston. “The Majority of Boston is BROWN & BLACK”, the Muslim immigrant married to a murderer complained.
In 2024, the first ex-illegal alien Muslim elected official in Massachusetts was arrested and indicted in a kickback scheme. That did not stop her from continuing to serve on the city council.
By April 2025, Anderson still hadn’t resigned despite planning to plead guilty to several of the charges that would entail serving a year in prison, leaving open the possibility that the Boston City Council would soon have the first Muslim illegal alien imprisoned city councilwoman.
Boston City Council President Ruthzee Louijeune, the first Haitian councilwoman, initially proposed waiting until November 2025 to see what developed and then promised “to continue working in partnership, as well, with the mayor’s office to make sure that Roxbury residents, and the residents of all of District 7, have their representation during this challenging time.”
Finally in early June, Anderson agreed to resign… and went on serving. On June 25, a month before she faces sentencing, the criminal councilwoman finally attended her last session, sponsored resolutions, and promised to continue “fighting, not from this chamber but from the community” by going back “to the base, to the roots, where real power lives” until the day comes when “we live in a society that doesn’t just say Black Lives Matter, that proves it.”
While Boston’s surviving residents will lose Anderson’s services (and those of the family members she employed), she has left a permanent mark on the revolutionary city.
Based on the final resolution proposed by Anderson, July will not be the month when Boston remembers the American Revolution, it will be a month “to recognize and to celebrate the independence of Cabo Verde and to declare July as Cabo Verdean Heritage Month.”

The “example” in question was hiring her son and sister to serve on her staff, then getting hit with a $5,000 ethics fine for hiring them, then trying to pay the ethics fine by hiring another family member, lying about their familial relationship to the ethics commission, then giving her a large bonus (at taxpayer expense) and getting a $7,000 kickback from her in the bathroom.
“You are an ally in the fight for equity, and you are Boston’s Harriet Tubman,” Councilman Brian Worrell (D), the first second generation Jamaican immigrant, claimed. “Thank you for your service.”
History does not dwell on the time that Harriet Tubman got a kickback in the bathroom. That’s usually something Boston city council members do. It’s unknown if like Tania Fernandes Anderson, Harriet racked up 70 audit letters. Or if she ever equaled Anderson’s feat of hiring her son as her treasurer or allegations that her expenses were one giant slush fund.
Councilwoman Julia Meija (D), who tends to wear revolutionary berets and is the first Dominican immigrant councilwoman, hailed Anderson’s “courage”. Meija is presumably referring to the time the Muslim ex-illegal alien called the Hamas atrocities of Oct 7 a “military operation”. Mejia had also worked to block a resolution condemning the mass murder of Jews by Islamic terrorists.
Councilwoman Sharon Durkan (D), the first blonde campaign consultant elected to the council, who had also opposed the resolution condemning the murder of Jews, sympathetically told her corrupt colleague, “this time has not been easy.” The only ones it’s been harder on is Hamas.
True to form, Anderson blamed her downfall on a conspiracy by the “system” to get her for being too outspoken. “The system is set up to accommodate politeness, not truth. It tolerates performance, not integrity, and anyone who dares to step outside of that theater risks being ostracized or worse.” Also anyone who dares to accept toilet kickbacks.
How the ‘system’ compelled Anderson to hire family members is still unknown.
“I’d be so grateful to share this closing chapter with you,” she told her colleagues.
Many Bostonians only wish that she could fully share the chapter with many of their ‘representatives’.
But as Anderson heads off into the sunset for Cabo Verdean Heritage Month, she, like so many of her ‘first’ colleagues, remains a shining example of how diversity has strengthened Boston and turned it from a boring old American city full of Irish immigrants into the third world.
A statue of her can’t be far off in the making.
On the romantic side though, if Anderson does go to prison, she may be reunited with her husband Tanzerius Anderson who is already in prison for armed robbery and murder.

“Moving to the Ronald Reagan Building is the most cost effective and resource efficient way to carry out our mission to protect the American people and uphold the Constitution,” he added.
The building was previously home to the U.S. Agency for International Development until the Trump administration shuttered it earlier this year, and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection moved in. It was not immediately clear when the bureau is expected to transition to the new location.”

We were certainly at war by July 4 of 20 twenty FIVE, but we hadn’t yet reached the point on giving up getting the rights of Englishmen and parliament not trying to rule us. It was largely Tom Paine’s Common Sense that convinced us we had to break away–that and the dawning realization that parliament was doing what it was doing with the backing of the King; before that many were expecting the King to step in and tell Parliament they didn’t have the authority to rule the colonies.

Arguably today, not the 4th, is Independence Day. The continental congress passed the Lee Resolution on this day in 1776.

Resolved, That these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent States, that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain is, and ought to be, totally dissolved.

That it is expedient forthwith to take the most effectual measures for forming foreign Alliances.

That a plan of confederation be prepared and transmitted to the respective Colonies for their consideration and approbation.

If that phrasing sounds familiar, it’s because the first paragraph is quoted in the Declaration of Independence–which functioned to explain why that resolution had been passed. The other two paragraphs were not passed until much later.

John Adams wrote to Abigail on July 3:

The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. Congress voted for independence on July 2nd, but edits were made and the Continental Congress formally approved it on July 4th. That was the date that was written on the document. It wasn’t signed until August 2nd.

But as you point out they voted for independence on the 2nd, so that’s the date we said “We’re getting a divorce” in a way that was legally binding. If there had been no declaration at all, we would still have been independent (well, we still had to win a war to make it stick).

As I pointed out Adams thought we’d be celebrating the 2nd (not the 4th).

I wasn’t disputing what you said, just adding clarification as to why we are celebrating on the 4th. That’s the date on the final document. I do understand why Adams said it should be celebrated on the 2nd after all they went through to get the vote for independence, but I’m happy to celebrate on the date that the final wording was approved, given the significance of the document. Having the document dated the 4th but celebrating on the 2nd wouldn’t seem right.

I don’t think the document should have been dated the 2nd either because its final version was approved on the 4th.

So it’s a question of whether to celebrate on the date Congress got the vote for independence, which is reasonable, or to celebrate on the date that is on the document itself, which edited and finalized what was voted for on the 2nd.
