Well, there are lots of innocent civilians here in the United States, and it is not unreasonable to assume that the Iranian Republican Guard Corps has infiltrated sleeper cells into the United States. Once activated, they have the potential to go on a murder spree unparalleled in American history, one that would make Saturday night in Chicago look like a picnic with the Muppets.
ICE is on the front lines of this battle. It is integrated into their clean up of the drug/human trafficking. I have a couple of posts coming up after tomorrow on them.

I’m alive and thriving. Thank you for all the well wishes. My close range vision is really coming in now so I can start posting again. But for the moment, I just don’t want to.
I’ve been seriously nearsighted since the day I was born. My prescription in my left and right eye was -10, -11.5 respectively. If you know how bad this is, you know. Couple that with advanced cataracts and you have someone who is essentially blind.
I don’t know what to say really. But when I sat up in the OR, I felt like I could see the world for the very first time. Like I was being born or something. Unsure how to describe it. The surgeon got pretty emotional at my reaction in a good way. I guess many aren’t as blind as I.
I now have 20/20 vision without assistance, and after my years on this earth, it’s a shock to the system. Albeit in a very good way.
I. Can. See. And I never knew this is what the world actually looked like. Or what it was supposed to look like. I can see people’s faces, their eyes. I can see details that I never knew existed.
It has caused me to take pause. To be infinitely grateful for the exceptional Army surgeon who did this. The civilization that allowed for a human to get new eyes in minutes. The technology. Everything.
I’m spending my time just looking at things. I went to the Smithsonian for the first time, just to see anything and everything. To say it was breathtaking is an understatement.
I know the world is obsessed with war right now. I just don’t care today. I simply want to keep seeing what I’ve been missing for decades.
Replacement lenses are the G.O.A.T.
The new lenses are prescription, just like eyeglasses.
Except they are on the inside of the eye. I’ve had mine for over a decade and the only time they don’t quite do it correctly is when my eyeballs fail to lubricate fully. Rapid blinking solves that.
I would say that the reason they are so good is the skill of the eye doc at measuring the prescription you need. As long as he does his part accurately, the lab can grind the lenses properly. It all depends on the doc’s skill level.
It’s amazing that this man had to suffer for so long, mainly because this curative technology has been around for many years. He could have had this surgery [one of the safest in USA] done decades ago.
As he says, better late than never.
Those numbers are a bit worse than mine, which were -9 and -10. I had cataracts which were basically making things yellow-brown, and I was putting off doing anything about it because of the COVIDIOCY madness.
My late wife had her eyes done, and was really pleased with the results (her vision was only in the -2 range) and pushed me to get mine done, as I was at the point I couldn’t safely drive anymore (drive by feel only works at the amusement park bumper cars ride 🙂 )…
Finally she was at a checkup and asked her doc about me, and they said they were all booked out for six months or so (great health system here….) but she persisted, explaining how bad my eyes were.
GOD Bless her for her persistence. I got an appointment for the following week, and my eyes were so bad the laser measurement tool they use to get the right prescription didn’t work on my right (worse) eye… so I still need a low (+0.5) prescription lens for that eye to drive (legally, they’re picky here).
But the big news is that the doc said if I’d waited any longer, they wouldn’t have been able to do anything, and I’d be blind… so I am eternally grateful, and happy to be able to do things without glasses… I’ve worn contacts or glasses for 60 years, starting out with -8 or -9 coke bottles, and only in the 1980s were there soft lenses that could compensate for that; I used gas-permeable or the old-fashioned plastic ones…
Crazy thing, (which happened to my wife, too) was I saw EVERY SINGLE GRAIN OF DUST everywhere 😮 🙂 and who was that wrinkly old man in the mirror?????
The surgery didn’t take long at all, and recovery was pretty quick. Only thing is everything seemed too bright, as I’d been used to being in brownfog day, as it were.
Amazing that there’s a way to fix that. And again, it doesn’t pay to delay!!!

It sounds like he had his surgery in the context of cataracts. Mine was LASIK (23 years ago) — I had mine done by the guy who did the 49ers. My aunt, several years prior, had radial-K — which is so primitive that I get ill if I think about it too much.

I have a simple celebration. Our worship leader and band at church reflect our area with a country/bluegrass sound. Fits well in hillbilly country. The band has been 5 piece with 3 guitars, piano and drums. They play a good sound, not too loud, that eases the worship team singers and congregation into the songs. But something happened yesterday that is just wonderful, a married couple joined who play in a local music theater. The woman plays a beautiful fiddle and her husband plays mandolin and guitar!
Our worship leader is a state and national award winning high school band teacher/leader. He grew up playing in local country bluegrass bands.
Brought tears to this old man’s eyes. SonIL is also a musician – guitar and drums – who never has time to play anymore because of their practice schedule. He was as happy as me. Beautiful sound, all in worship of our holy Lord. I foresee the playing of some classic bluegrass songs and hymns on the horizon.
We also officially started a third worship service yesterday in advance of a major building project. We have been bulging at the seams and in desperate need of more space of all types. The harvest continues…

I haven’t done that with them. I agree with you that people make mistakes, and also like you, I appreciate when they state that what they’re saying is opinion or is their speculation based on what they’re seeing. I have no problem with that. It provides food for thought.
IMO we would do well to be able to distinguish that from what Mr. Pool does.
With him, one has to wade through certifiable BS intertwined with an occasional fact, interspersed with random things thrown in that are calculated to lead people in a certain direction. It is not a matter of my not liking some of his viewpoints; it is that he is BS-ing and telling blatant, provable lies, with no mitigating statements to indicate that it is his opinion. Because, IMO, it is not his opinion; he is making stuff up for clicks and profit (and who knows what other reasons).
He throws so much stuff out there that it would take a long time to parse all of it. Things like “60-day time frame,” “grand jury [whatever], first time in history” “grand jury will be convened on March 7,” etc. (I don’t think information about grand juries convening is publicly available, so how would he know that? He is either some super-insider who is telling tales, or he is making up those tales.) It would take research to determine if there is any truth to them, and 99.9% of people are not going to do that research. I have done a little, and I will not waste my time parsing every statement he makes. I’ve seen enough. The onus is on him to win credibility, but I haven’t seen him take responsibility for anything he has said that was a mistake, was untrue, or didn’t come to pass. I venture to say there is not a person here who, after all those red flags, would trust such a person with their business or commerce in real life. I just hope they can actually see the red flags.

• He said the Iran attacks were, and are, about an Epstein server that was recovered.

I think there out to be a YEARLY review process for these judges with someone tabulating these losses. After one loss, you get demoted to traffic court…after 2 you can only perform civil ceremonies in backwater counties. 3 or more? you lose your robe, your bennies and have to have to scrub toilets in the state penitentiary system.
Completely agree. It is a failure of the current Constitution to address the consequences of corruption of appointments and judiciary IMO. People get all defensive when you say the Constitution and laws are deficient. They shouldn’t. Our founding fathers and politicians that followed made mistakes as well. They were/are human. I go back to strict and loose constructionism. If you believe actual laws can be developed and interpreted into something that evolves with society’s changes – you go loose. If the laws are not written with sufficient description and provisions to enforce and administer, you go loose to build case law and precedence. If you believe the laws have exactly what is needed for the situation, you go narrow. It’s not all one way or the other. It would be nice if it was narrow – it says this and means this, period. But there is so much of it that is not written that way.
The leftists go the opposite of that understanding and process. They use the law and manipulate it into what they want that gives them power. The prefer chaos caused by obfuscation. Not just in the law, with everything.
The purpose of federal judges was to hear cases and spread the workload that would ordinarily go to SCOTUS, not be the appointed legislators of the law. That they would try to do the latter and get away with it with impunity is a Constitutional flaw. Described impeachment procedures simply do not work.Thomas Jefferson would say, “Yup, I know. This is potentially the biggest Iran story nobody is talking about: the global insurance market may be heading toward a systemic crisis. Here’s why…
Most people don’t realize London isn’t just a financial center it’s THE center of global insurance.
Lloyd’s underwrites ~40% of the world’s marine cargo. Ship sinks, port gets bombed, canal gets blocked the bill lands in London.
This is why the UK punches above its weight. Not the Royal Navy. Not diplomacy. Insurance.
Control insurance, control trade.
And London doesn’t just control the 90% of global trade that moves by sea. Lloyd’s and the London market are major insurers of almost everything skyscrapers, factories, ports, satellites, entire supply chains.
You can’t participate in public markets or raise large amounts of capital without insurance.
Now, the normal playbook for war risk is repricing, not cancellation.
Canceling coverage entirely is a massive escalation in underwriting posture. It signals something beyond risk, it signals uncertainty so deep the underwriter can’t even price it.
The question everyone should be asking: why?
Why not just jack up premiums and make a fortune off the crisis like they did in the Black Sea off Ukraine?
To answer that, you have to understand WHY London has maintained a stranglehold on global insurance while losing nearly submarket related to ships.
The answer: better intelligence.
It is no coincidence that MI6 headquarters sits directly across the Thames from the @IMOHQ
, the world’s maritime regulator & a short distance from Lloyd’s itself.
I have no proof of a direct pipeline, but it has long been speculated in the industry that intelligence flows from MI6 to Lloyd’s.
Having the best intel in the world would be the single greatest competitive advantage any insurer could possess: the ability to price risk that competitors can only guess at.
Here’s the problem: the majority of MI6’s intel doesn’t come from its own agents. It comes from Five Eyes the alliance comprising the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
And within 5Eyes, the dominant partner is obvious. The CIA, NSA, NRO, etc generate the lion’s share of intel.
So if Lloyd’s pricing advantage flows from MI6, and MI6’s best intelligence flows from the US… what happens when that data pipeline gets throttled?
All indications are that @Keir_Starmer
was blindsided by the size and scope of the US/Israel strikes on Iran this weekend. That alone tells you something about the current state of transatlantic intelligence sharing.
And we know there has been serious anger in Washington over the UK’s decision to sell Diego Garcia, home to America’s most strategically important base in the Indian Ocean, to Mauritius.
It is not a huge leap to conclude that the submarine cables linking Langley to London have gone dark, or at minimum have been significantly throttled.
What this means for UK national security is a question for the Brits. But what it means for EVERY company globally that’s insured through the London market has massive implications for the entire financial system.
Because most large insurers worldwide don’t do independent intelligence work. They index off Lloyd’s rates.
If you’re insuring a skyscraper in Tokyo, a semiconductor fab in Taiwan, or a port in Argentina you get a Lloyd’s quote, then shop that price around.
Other insurers see Lloyd’s number and assume the diligence was done. They price accordingly.
This means if London is suddenly flying blind it’s not just Lloyd’s policyholders at risk. It’s the entire global reinsurance chain.
The cancellation of war risk coverage on ships isn’t the crisis. It’s the canary.
If this hypothesis is correct, we could be looking at a systemic repricing event across global insurance markets…. the kind of cascading uncertainty that defined 2008 and COVID.
Watch Lloyd’s. Watch reinsurance spreads. What Five Eyes. That’s where this story, and possibly Wall Street, breaks.

IT is possible they reprice, but what are they repricing to do? The demise of a center for terrorism reduces the risk, which would put downward pressure on the rates paid by customers.
OK. So insurors are not willing to insure in this environment?

As Iran threats, Navy, whatever shore launchers Iran has/had are attrite, Straits of Hormuz are, then safe to transit.

BREAKING: Trump DROPS BIG NEWS On Iran Strikes “Big Wave Hasn’t Even Started”
I like to share with you some personal sad news and then good news.
I lost another cat Marble a Russian blue she was 16 1/2 yeas old. She had cancer no one noticed even though she had a physical in September with all the tests. She went downhill very fast and we had her put to sleep since to relieve her pain.
The good news is I saw my cardiologist a wonderful conservative Indian Christian my heart went from10 % function when I was in the hospital end of July to 22% three months later and today my heart function was 37%. The leaky heart valve is now only leaking very little . The doc thinks as the heart muscle gets stronger and get bigger the leak will vanish.
I do not need to wear my vest any longer 🙂 God is good and I truly feel blessed. I am looking for quality not longevity of life. Quality has returned and I am grateful to everyone who prayed for me and grateful to God and Christ the Healer.
