COMMENTARY FOR LUKE 14:27
Christ heals a man on the sabbath. (1-6) He teaches humility. (7-14) Parable of the great supper. (15-24) The necessity of consideration and self-denial. (25-35)
25-35 Though the disciples of Christ are not all crucified, yet they all bear their cross, and must bear it in the way of duty. Jesus bids them count upon it, and then consider of it. Our Saviour explains this by two similitudes; the former showing that we must consider the expenses of our religion; the latter, that we must consider the perils of it. Sit down and count the cost; consider it will cost the mortifying of sin, even the most beloved lusts. The proudest and most daring sinner cannot stand against God, for who knows the power of his anger? It is our interest to seek peace with him, and we need not send to ask conditions of peace, they are offered to us, and are highly to our advantage. In some way a disciple of Christ will be put to the trial. May we seek to be disciples indeed, and be careful not to grow slack in our profession, or afraid of the cross; that we may be the good salt of the earth, to season those around us with the savour of Christ.

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I think some of this depends on what people are looking for when reading these blogs written by physicians. For example, Dr. Peter A. McCullough’s blog (https://www.thefocalpoints.com/) has “morphed” into different directions, including advertising his company’s product lines for treatment / prophylasix (The Wellness Company.) He undoubtedly has deep knowledge of his own subject material. On the other hand, his blog also has multiple articles by John Leake about the current Iran war situation (Leake is against it.)
Another example: A Midwestern Doctor’s blog (https://www.midwesterndoctor.com/) has multiple article on DMSO and what it can do. He, also undoubtedly, has deep knowledge of his own subject material. His articles on the dangers of antidepressants (and psychotropic drugs in general) are incredible.

An abbreviated summary by me that might not fully represent what they think:
•The late Scott Adams tried the products that Dr. Makis promotes, the fenben-IVM+ (my abbreviated term) ones, and said he was not helped by them.
•Dr. Makis then claimed that Adams didn’t complete the protocol. “Scott didn’t try Ivermectin and Fenbendazole in any proper shape or form and we will never know if it would have worked for him or not.”
•Dr. Gorski says AMD likes DMSO as a cure for cancer. AMD made a mild criticism of the fenben-IVM+ protocols, and Dr. Makis strongly objects to that. Some of what AMD said is at the site. It ends with this:

Conclusion: Makis is pushing the fenben-IVM+ protocol, while AMD pushes DMSO. AMD has not had success with the fenben-IVM+ protocol and therefore doesn’t promote it, and Makis is upset about that.

. Basically, a threat of a defamation lawsuit. In that letter, they stated:
“Blaze Media’s analysis was also factually flawed. Ms. Kerkhoff’s 2015 soccer injury did not give her a ‘slight limp’ from which any reasonable ‘analyst’ could link her to the bombing suspect. Ms. Kerkhoff has fully recovered from her injury. In the interim, she has run multiple marathons.”
Given that Clare Locke has dedicated resources to monitoring every word we write and every one of our media appearances, they must know we have hours of video of Ms. Kerkhoff’s unusual “circumduction gait.” (A kind of limp.) Hours of video we’ve harvested from Capitol CCTV of her as a Capitol Police officer on January 5 and 6, 2021, and from her short professional soccer career. Almost all of which is readily available to any member of the public, press, or one of the law firm’s taxpayer-funded paralegals. (Routed through some dark money conduit, foundation, or NGO. Kerkhoff cannot afford an $1,800 per hour law firm, well-known for not taking defamation cases on contingency.)
Is Clare Locke incompetently representing their client, Ms. Kerkhoff (er … CIA) — by that easily disproved assertion — or were they just trying to scare The Blaze into a quick settlement before their client would have to face the harsh reality of trial discovery?
As for Ms. Kerkhoff being a marathon runner, we already knew that. Despite their best efforts to scrub her former internet history, we’d already captured many photos of her participation in marathon events from deep web scrapes. The most interesting little nugget about that is:
