So these 2 markets are very frothy right now…
Fair Disclosure: I have about 10% to 15% of my net worth in gold and silver. A relatively normal level of “hedging the currency and inflation rate” holding. I’d have done much better over the last year with a higher level of holdings in precious metals. But I’ve done OK.
Realize that metals markets are very VOLATILE and can move against you, by a lot, in a single day. In my opinion, their best use is as a very long term hedge against buggery of the currency (that is almost guaranteed if history is any guide. The $US today is worth about 1 ¢ on the $ of what it was on the gold standard (when I was working in my parent’s restaurant and we had real silver money…)

Colorado’s governor will not allow Tina Peters to be moved from Colorado State to Federal custody per a request from the Trump Administration.
Tina Peters was sentenced to prison in Colorado for doing her job after the 2020 Election. She maintained records from the 2020 Election, and when she identified discrepancies in results before and after an election system update, she was imprisoned for 9 years.
It was Peters state and federal duty to maintain accurate records. This is what she did, and the corrupt actors in the state of Colorado imprisoned her for it.
A local Colorado publication reported this week:
The office of Colorado Gov. Jared Polis affirmed this week a decision by state prison officials not to fulfill a request by the Trump administration to transfer custody of Tina Peters from the state to federal authorities.
Peters, the former Republican Mesa County clerk, is serving a 9-year prison sentence for her role in a scheme to breach the security of her own election equipment. President Donald Trump has repeatedly demanded that she be released.
The director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons sent a letter to the Colorado Department of Corrections last month requesting that the state “initiate the transfer” of Peters to the bureau.

(2) Advertisers of those who pay for promotion of information on X are not easily identifiable – people need to figure it out on their own. (3) It is too difficult to figure out who is providing the information.
Basically, all of the EU concerns center around information control. It’s really an ideology issue. In the outlook of the EU, bureaucrats and elites feel they are superior and must rule/protect the people under them. Ordinary people having access to information that may or may not be approved by the EU is the underlying issue.

Crystal clear to me, USG (Trump) has had enough of, “two faced” NATO = EU/ UK.
My recent trip to Brussels for the @NATO Ministerial meeting left me with one overriding impression: the US has long failed to address the glaring inconsistency between its relations with NATO and the EU. These are almost all the same countries in both organizations. When these countries wear their NATO hats, they insist that Transatlantic cooperation is the cornerstone of our mutual security. But when these countries wear their EU hats, they pursue all sorts of agendas that are often utterly adverse to US interests and security—including censorship, economic suicide/climate fanaticism, open borders, disdain for national sovereignty/promotion of multilateral governance and taxation, support for Communist Cuba, etc etc. This inconsistency cannot continue. Either the great nations of Europe are our partners in protecting the Western civilization that we inherited from them or they are not. But we cannot pretend that we are partners while those nations allow the EU’s unelected, undemocratic, and unrepresentative bureaucracy in Brussels to pursue policies of civilizational suicide.

The 14th Amendment was one of the subjects covered in the GTEN.org courses I took around 10+ years ago, which I have discussed here a few times.
Going by memory, when the slaves were freed at the end of the Civil War, their status was undefined.
They weren’t slaves anymore, but they weren’t official citizens either. At the time, people (Americans) were State citizens, and taking it a step further, a person was not a citizen OF a state (e.g., citizen of South Carolina), a person born in South Carolina was a South Carolina citizen.
The distinction seems small, but it’s like a ‘brick in the wall’, and each one counts, until the wall is complete, and you are enclosed and captured, or tied down like Gulliver on the island of Lilliput by the State.
A citizen OF South Carolina is a subject of South Carolina. The word “of” denotes ownership. We spent a lot of time looking words up in Black’s Law Dictionary, 4th Edition, to understand the definitions of words as they were used at the time important Supreme Court decisions (and U.S. Amendments) were written. You don’t want to be a ‘subject’ of (or to) anyone.
A South Carolina citizen, by contrast, is a sovereign American, born in South Carolina. Even if it was just a mindset it would be important, because the mindset determines all sorts of other things (invariably government intrusion and infringements) with regard to how we might respond to them.
If we don’t know the difference, then we are easily ensnared in the layers of BS government always seeks to bind us with.
If we do know the difference, then we see what restraints the government is sneaking in, and resist them.
So back to the 14th Amendment.
The freed slaves needed to have some kind of official status inside the country. I don’t recall why they didn’t make them state citizens like white people, but I’m sure there was a reason.
Instead, they created a NEW citizenship, and made the freed slaves citizens OF (i.e., subject to) the United States of America.
For a while, white people remained state citizens, and freed slaves were citizens OF the United States.
But over time, everyone was herded into being considered citizens OF the United States.
None of this was good. It was good for TPTB, bad for the individual sovereignty of Americans.
It looks like some of these same fundamental issues are being raised to prove the Trump administration’s point.
They probably won’t focus on the ‘citizen of’ vs. ‘[state] citizen’ aspect, but it sounds like they are going to have to go over the actual reasons for the creation of the 14th Amendment, who it applied to, and why.
Showing that Native Americans were NOT covered by the 14th Amendment, and in fact no one besides freed slaves were covered (IIRC), ends the Left’s insistence that everyone on the planet is a U.S. citizen if they can just find a way to sneak across the border.
Because not even American Indians born in America to generations of parents and grand parents and great grandparents and great great grandparents (etc.) were covered by the 14th Amendment.
And if they weren’t, then by what twisted lawfare logic can anyone from Stanstanistan or Mexistan or Venezuelastan or Somalistan be covered by the 14th Amendment?
They can’t.
And that’s how we save the country from 3rd world invasion facilitated by the insane Left.

I’ve seen these before. My primary impression was that these videos joined, corrected, smoothed out, and basically improved Musk’s halting and stuttering speech mannerisms. I almost got the impression that the people producing them, could be connected to Musk, but don’t admit it, in order to fly under the radar a bit. They could even be a deniable operation designed to amplify his messages.
