2026.02.17 Daily Thread: The World According To Trade(Bait)

Today we venture into the music industry for something different. Most readers recognize that artists of songs receive royalties on sales of product, licenses, streams, etc. Right?

Then there is Artificial Intelligence, that ubholy term, a subject Wolf, Scott and others have chosen to explore at times. So, today is about what happens now with AI in music?

In particular, how do AI, bots, wire fraud, money laundering and all sorts of criminality play into it?

But first to set the tone, let’s review two scriptures of the day from both Old and New Testaments, which are from Proverbs 2:6,

For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
(NASB)

And James 1:5,

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (NASB)

These two timeless scriptures tell the reader to look to the Lord for all knowledge, understanding and wisdom. For this time of existence that would tell the believer to test whatever knowledge one gains from the use of mankind’s AI against the Word of God.

That is a Word to the wise.

The Basics

it is worth a quick read below so you will know how it all works and why the changes are impacting the industry and the music you like.

https://royaltyexchange.com/blog/understanding-music-royalty-types-a-beginners-guide-2025

Once again, more strict and loose to discuss. The definitions,

Strict ConstructionistLiteral and narrow reading (interpretation) of the document that limits the powers of the federal government to what it provides.

Loose ConstructionistViews it as a “living document” that is interpreted broadly that adapts to society as it evolves and its needs change..

When it comes to AI and music, you knew it would only be a matter of time until the below reared its head.

Did they say 75 million AI spam tracks in one sweep?! Holy shizola!

https://www.msn.com/en-us/technology/artificial-intelligence/spotify-s-ai-sweep-just-wiped-75m-tracks-and-creators-are-panicking/ar-AA1T7CDw

What can this all possibly mean going forward?

One thing we do know is that ultimately the public will probably be the loser and we will regard those 45’s, 33’s, cassettes and VHS tapes as relics of a golden past that we long for again.

AI’s Legal Impact On The Music Industry

To answer this issue, let’s go to an AI horse itself. Here is Brave’s AI (Leo) response. The other couple AI’s I checked were similar in the responses.

The rise of AI in the music industry has created significant legal challenges, particularly around copyright and intellectual property rights. Here are the key legal implications:

Copyright and Training Data

The most contentious legal issue involves AI companies using copyrighted music to train their models without permission. Major record labels including Universal Music Group, Sony Music, and Warner Records have sued AI music synthesis companies Udio and Suno for allegedly committing mass copyright infringement, seeking damages of $150,000 per song used in training. This mirrors similar disputes in other creative industries and represents a fundamental challenge to how copyright law applies to AI development.

Royalty Fraud

AI has also enabled new forms of fraud. In a first-of-its-kind prosecution, a music producer was accused of using AI to create hundreds of thousands of fake songs with randomly generated artist names, then using bots to stream them on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, allegedly fraudulently obtaining over $10 million in royalty payments.

Ownership of AI-Generated Works

A critical unresolved question is who owns the copyright to AI-generated music. In the UK, works generated by “computer” are currently protected by copyright, with ownership going to the person who makes the arrangements necessary for creation. However, the UK government has proposed removing copyright protection for computer-generated works, arguing they cannot satisfy the originality test that requires human intellectual creativity. US courts have similarly ruled that AI-generated content without human authorship cannot be copyrighted.

Voice Cloning and Deepfakes

AI-generated “deepfake” songs that mimic famous artists’ vocals pose new legal challenges around publicity rights and artist identity. The viral track “Heart on My Sleeve,” featuring AI clones of Drake and The Weeknd, accumulated 15 million TikTok views in under 48 hours. Tennessee responded by passing the ELVIS Act (Ensuring Likeness Voice and Image Security), the first US law specifically addressing AI’s impact on music, providing legal protections for artists’ voices and likenesses.

Industry Balance

Governments worldwide are struggling to balance encouraging AI innovation while protecting creators’ rights. The UK government’s December 2024 consultation proposed allowing free use of copyrighted material by AI developers with an opt-out option for creators, but this approach has faced strong opposition from the music industry, including high-profile artists like Sir Paul McCartney. The outcome of these policy debates will likely establish precedents affecting AI content creation across multiple industries.

Leo’s info sources were – pinsentmasons.com; unchainedmusic.io; saul.com; soundverse.ai; npr.org; cardozoaelj.com; joneswalker.com; whatnext.law

Do you see the problems here? There are many existing laws covering various aspects, but none that are comprehensively covering a completely new industry that was obviously not envisioned when the Constitution and related laws over the next 245+ years were passed.

As a result there will be strict constructionist interpretation in settled law areas to go with loose constructionist interpretations where no applicable statutory or case law exists. Now add the challenge of meshing both under one umbrella covering just the AI related industry with just license and copyright law in music. Because the music industry is international in scope, some consideration has to also be given to those legal issues and requirements in foreign countries. Now factor which businesses and performers align with specific points of emphasis, legal positions and political parties.

Can you spell “billable hours” and many, many lawsuits that will take ages to flesh out?

😂

Mamas let your babies grow up to be lawyers? Say it ain’t so…

AI Comedy

Let’s finish with some AI comedy since Wolf has been bringing the AI music. It’s worth your short time investment in my opinion. 🤣

AI can be fun if one knows it is AI. I am going to renege on not doing the AI music. Found one going around that is fascinating to listen to if you like Irish folk music. How about an Irish folk version of Billie Jean?

Back to reality.

Remember Wolf’s site rules. Note and label all AI. Please be kind to one another, we are all in this together. May God richly bless America and all of you.

Before all things and people – In God We Trust. Also, trust Trump and the plan.

Looks like a great article; will have to read it later.

Meanwhile, it’s nice to see the expression on Pres. Trump’s face here.

Trump: I have nothing to hide. I have been exonerated. I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. I have been totally exonerated on Epstein.

Wolf Moon

There is going to come a point where we will need great discernment between real victims of Epstein and bogus victims (again, AND logic in operation). We need to first PREVENT creation of a dismissable moral panic, and then prevent dismissal of the realities of Epstein AS a moral panic. I think understanding cases like Trump’s will help us get there.

Barb Meier

Change “Epstein” to “Covid” and lets also discuss how we get accountability for a spiritual war.

Wolf Moon

Yeah, there might be some similarity there!

Valerie Curren

Amen!

pgroup2

There’s a damn good reason that the Framers said [in the Seventh Amendment] that no fact determined by a jury shall be re-examined.

It’s about the evidence. There must be enough evidence to convince a jury, according to common law which [of course] was expressed in the collective wisdom of … the jury!

Gail Combs

Which is why there has been a concerted effort to get rid of jury trials in the USA.

Wolf Moon

Obama judges are a terrible jury.

Wolf Moon

AMEN.

Sir ES

As far as I can tell / perceive, America may not be *fully* under ‘common law,’ i.e., the law of the land.

One ought not dismiss entirely the possibility that we are under the law of the sea (aka maritime law, or admiralty law), – or, there may be a partial mix of the two.

I’m sure that I’ve broached the subject before, likely a few years ago.

Rather than diving into the legal mess, especially without concrete substantiation, I find it best to hold off judgment on what’s going to happen a little ways down the road!

Canada, Australia, and NZ are corporations beholden to the UK, likely all owned by the City of London (and perhaps in turn orchestrated by Switzerland, home to the BIS, the WHO, and the WTO, among quite a few other supranational organizations).

Perhaps the USA (not “uSA”) is a corporation as well…

The Swiss were neutral – in BOTH World Wars?

Suspicious cat!

Demmunists!!!!!

Maybe the federal government can set up a giant ACME “U-turn” pipe, with a pumping system, and pump all the raw sewage right back into Maryland.

Just dump it out right on the ground in Maryland, and let Maryland deal with their own toxic waste, since the ecological disaster Dems (E.D.D.) won’t stop polluting the Potomac.

cthulhu

Problem is that much of Maryland drains into the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay. It’d be nice to think you could pump it over a hump and have it drain through Delaware, but that’s on the other side of Chesapeake Bay.

Gail Combs

Just pump it into the governor’s mansion and the state buildings. It will feel right at home and thus stay there.

[loud snort]

Cuppa Covfefe

How could they tell it apart? 🙂

patfrederick

spoilsport…LOL

patfrederick

OH THIS IDEA I CAN GET BEHIND!

pgroup2

That’s not a good place to stand [if you catch my drift].

patfrederick

my judgement, before coffee, is always dubious.

patfrederick

of course, they are doing nothing about it…why spend state money when they know the federal gov’t will step in? my taxpayer money is going to fix a problem another state created and refuses to fix.
goodness, I am in a mood this morning…watch out!

patfrederick

excellent idea!

pgroup2

How many hits in that one post??? Better yet, how many battle lines intersect at the O.K. Corral of American politics – Washington D.C.?

Equating the sewage-filled Potomac with Donkey party principles creates a mental picture that will last indefinitely.

Pure genius.

“Restore Britain” gaining momentum RAPIDLY…..

Check out the replies!

scott467

Try banning foreigners from having a physical presence inside Britain. It’s the only way to be sure.

Don’t just ban the foreigners from voting… ban foreigners altogether.

Come on guys. Try harder. This isn’t difficult.

Easy FIRST PASS:

If you do not speak English — OUT!

Gudthots

In the USA, since we do believe in GENUINE needs receiving genuine compassion, I propose a little modification to your suggestion.

  • if, you do not speak English for a reason other than physical disability AND you qualify to apply for asylum,
  • then, you may choose to leave immediately,
  • or, you may choose to move into the new DHS warehousing where you may spend your time LEARNING ENGLISH while you await determination of your case.

I spent part of my evening reading through the posts on this account. So INSPIRING!!!

Proudofus.uk
@ProudofusUK

🇬🇧British warships🇬🇧 attacked 🇪🇸Spain’s navy.

Because Spain broke a promise.

1817. Spain signed a treaty to end its slave trade. Spain kept trading.

Britain warned them. Again. And again. Still trading.

So Britain sent the Navy. Ships seized. Crews arrested. Cargo freed.

Spain protested. “Violation of sovereignty!”

Britain pointed at the treaty. “You signed this.”

Portugal got the same treatment. Signed a treaty. Broke it. Same response.

Hundreds of ships condemned. Thousands of people freed.

This made Britain unpopular. Spain complained. Portugal complained.
Britain didn’t care.

Your ancestors served on those ships.

Paid for those ships.

Freed strangers they’d never meet.

Be part of us: proudofus.co.uk

Be proud of us. 🇬🇧

Cuppa Covfefe

Yep. There was a time when Britain was truly great.

Breaks my heart to see what has happened to the land of my ancestors, my London-born Mum (1920) and the Scots-Irish ancestors of my father who emigrated to what would become the USA in the early 1700s because they were tired of trying to make rocks grow in Scotland and potatoes (almost the same 🙂 ) in Ireland… and there be Wales in there too…

patfrederick

back when any fine young man could grow up to be Queen.

Cuppa Covfefe

Erm, no. That’s in SF, Sodom by the Bay…..

cthulhu

Just tell that to Brian May.

pgroup2

And yet, during our war [1861-1865], Britain supported the side that was trying to keep slavery going.

It took a threat from Russia to prevent that support from happening. My how times have changed. [Vlad seems to be the only one who remembers this]

kalbokalbs

Russians learn AND remember history. Likely fewer screw ups in the future.

Wolf Moon

Loved those talkative animals – and Irish Billie Jean! 💖

Wolf Moon

YouTube also thought I needed to hear this music, which may or may not be AI.

Wolf Moon

OMG – check THIS out!!! 💖 😂

cthulhu

Just to connect a couple of dots…..do you know who composed the music for “Onward, Christian Soldiers”?

Sir Arthur Seymour Sullivan, of Gilbert & Sullivan.

Wolf Moon

LOL!!! Small world!!! 😂

cthulhu

While they were doing the operettas, Sullivan kept trying to quit. According to him, he was a serious composer and should be doing symphonies, hymns, and such. Richard D’Oyly Carte (the theater owner) and Gilbert kept pointing out that they were making bank on the operettas.

Now, of course, Gilbert & Sullivan are STILL popular…..and Sullivan’s hymns and symphonies are Jeopardy questions.

Cuppa Covfefe

He also wrote a cello concerto, of which, sadly, the original score has been lost, but IIRC William Pleeth who performed it some years ago (and was the teacher of a friend of mine at USC [as well as Jacqueline Du Pre]) was able to recreate it by memory and with some of his fellow performers. It was supposed to have been a wonderful piece…

Not sure if it’s seen the light of day, but there is an enormous amount of wonderful music out there that never or rarely gets performed because typical audiences only want “the standards”…

Studying to be a concert cellist, I think probably 90 percent of the pieces I had in my repertoire were never going to see the stage, yet they were also valuable as learning tools.

Another example (from the piano world) is the Etudes (studies) of Chopin, Liszt, and others; technically challenging (indeed, transcendental 🙂 ) yet also musically challenging, which most people don’t notice… but will get you dinged on a jury if you don’t take care of it (let alone on a performance)…..

Interesting that often “sidelines” are what provide the income needed to be able to pursue one’s true love… There were a surprising number of labbies at HP who were/are full-fledged concert musicians…

cthulhu

The thing is, Sullivan clearly was a master of his craft — otherwise we wouldn’t be boppin’ along to his music today. But he would never give the operettas the credit they deserved.

pgroup2
Wolf Moon

OK – last one! 😂

Cuppa Covfefe

And the only connection the Afghanis have to the Poppies is Opium and the drug trade…

In the UK they’re trying to do away with the Poppies (where people wear a Poppie flower in remembrance of veterans)… and IIRC, the Mozzies are a large part of the move to end that remembrance… Indeed, they’re a large part of trying to destroy ALL institutions of the UK and the West and Judeo-Christian Culture…

I hope and pray the movement started by Amelia and her “sisters” in the different countries grows and moves people to cast away the globalist trash and go back to our roots…

Wolf Moon

It is my contention (and that of Trump and JD, very clearly, IMO) that England needs to lead the Anglosphere – but not into Islam’s dumpster, which seems to be the current direction. Hopefully the slap in the face by George Orwell, of late, is enough to wake Britain up.

The Cabal – the Empire – Tavistock manipulations – these are not the answer.

IMO Britain must overcome self-imposed shame over its own history – particularly colonial times. Colonialism and empire were unavoidable tendencies of the times. To look at only the (modernly judged – WRONGLY) “good” or “bad” of those eras is destructive navel-gazing, promoted by the enemies of humanity in general, as part of promoting shame in great movements of human civilization.

I remember when American education was great – and students were taught to at least recognize the names of all the American Presidents and all the British kings and queens. Those who could recite them in order were the tops of their classes.

We didn’t “hate” the past – we understood it.

Wolf Moon

“History” and “Geography” became “Social Studies” in American schools. Little did we realize they meant “Socialist Studies”!

Cuppa Covfefe

Exactly… and we learned from it… and we respected our elders and forefathers and the sacrifices they made…

Sir ES

It’s a beginning.

And the more who SEE it, and AGREE with it, the more likely it will STICK.

And engender more followers and adherents, who wish to take a stand against the pap and deceit of those who call themselves “leaders.”

The “Amelia” character is, in truth, an ANON! Digital, yes, but effective nonetheless.

The world is finding it’s FEET once again.

“Based” (in truth) is the word I like – getting nitty-gritty, down to the core, the basics. Ethics, life, and TRUTH.

We are all PAST tired of the lies and manipulations of those who pretend that they’re “superior,” when in fact they are the diametric opposite – of TRUTH, of LIFE, and of GOD.

May the Lord have mercy on their souls.

We may have to arrange their meeting …

Cuppa Covfefe

Funny thing, Amelia (sans the “beauty spot”) looks almost exactly like a violinist friend of mine from years ago, complete with the perky Irish countenance… (and she’d be at the forefront of the Amelia movement, no doubt)… funny to see those vids and taking in memories at the same time…

England (and the rest of the UK) need to take a stand, and rid themselves of the infection(s) of the south…

Wolf Moon

Great stuff!

Yup. Lawyers were the platelets that rushed to the wound caused by AI!!! 😂

Cuppa Covfefe

The opera at LaScala (in Milan) used to have a (modest) database with a Flash frontend where you could type in a tune or fragment to see if it was part of something… I’d use it a lot because I’d have a tune bouncing through my mostly empty head and I couldn’t get rid of it until I found out what it was…

Sadly the lookup facility disappeared before Flash had its huuge issues; I wouldn’t be surprised if there were legal and copyright issues there, although such a search engine would actually help to avoid them.

Some composers often “quote” others without realizing it; Michael W. Smith seems to do it a lot, but it’s pretty obvious that what he writes is actually his (as he has a distinctive style). In the old days (OK VERY old days) Bach, Buxtehude, and others would borrow freely from each other, and actually look kindly on the practice. I think money and politics, once again, has spoiled things. (And to think, Bach WALKED 250 miles to hear and meet Buxtehude… hard to imagine anyone doing that now… though I’ve learned that Germans have a remarkable fondness for walking 🙂 Apparently Bach was especially ardent in that pursuit… here’s some more about that http://blog.feinviolins.com/2011/05/bachs-walks.html )…..

Peter Schickele (aka P.D.Q. Bach) addressed this once in his works, saying “It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. In the case of P.D.Q. Bach, this flattery often reached the point of identity”… There’s a great website about Peter Schickele and his namesake P.D.Q. Bach at https://www.schickele.com/wp/p-d-q-bach or https://www.schickele.com/wp

Gail Combs

“…I’ve learned that Germans have a remarkable fondness for walking…” Ahh yes the Volksmarch. I spent many a weekend in Germany joining a Volksmarch.

It is a practice the USA could use. (The neighborhood would be cleaned up and sparkling.)

Cuppa Covfefe

That’s Kehrwoche… down here they sweep the sidewalks and streets out in front of the houses and businesses every morning… I’d rather wait until a strong wind comes up (in the fall), but that won’t do 😆

One time my wife took her car to get TüV’d (inspection) at a mechanic around five miles away, and as I was at work, she walked home… no big deal for her… and her parents would walk probably five or ten miles every day until they were into their 70s… I don’t think this generation will do that… then again, with all the rack and ruin the GangGreens are foisting upon us, we soon may not have a choice other than walking… 😡 😡 😡 😡

singingsoul1

Where I grew up every Saturday I had to sweep the sidewalk and part of the street. Women would wash every Saturday the windows.
When I lived in St Louise I kept up my German habit. My neighbors hated me we eventually moved because they called me and my kids Nazis. I did not know better and only had been in the country for 4 years. I really had to adjust let go of many things just to have friends like cleaning my whole house every day .

Gail Combs

When I was in Germany (1970s) I was walking behind a little girl & her parents. There was an American soldier ahead of them. The soldier dropped a candy wrapper on the street. The little girl picked it up and handed it to him saying, you dropped this.

Littering was unthinkable to her. I wish I could say the same about Americans.

Cuppa Covfefe

In the 1980s my wife and I were walking along in Frankfurt, and there were a couple of US soldiers (brothas, as it were) walking about five or ten yards in front of us. In front of them (again, five or ten yards) was a German girl, probably in her late teens or early 20s.

The soldiers began to make “pick up” comments which became increasingly crude. Finally I’d had enough and commented to my wife, loud enough for all to hear, but far short of the yell I wanted to yell, “I bet they think she doesn’t understand them”…

She turned around, having understood all of it, smiled and went on. And their rude commentary stopped with that, too embarrassed to say anything or apologize…

Now, it’s the Moslems who do that, but far, FAR more aggressively, to the point of grabbing and pinching in places where “Südlanders” (Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese) wouldn’t dream of…

(There are times I think that Germany died with my wife’s parents’ generation, born in the 1920s…)…..

Gail Combs

It really is very very sad. The Germany I visited in the early 1970s was a nice place. Clean & safe. I would not want to ever go back now.

Cuppa Covfefe

Me too…

Oh, wait….

Here’s hoping and praying that saner minds (read: AfD) get into government here and the “firewall” goes away… (between the CDU/CSU and the AfD, who they’re trying to isolate into submission, despite them being the most popular party)…

Gudthots

🙏

singingsoul1

What an embarrassing moment for the soldier.
When my kids were small they cleaned up the neighborhood and could not stand litter bugs. This kept them out of trouble and there was not much littering in our Subdivision.

Cuppa Covfefe

When we were renting in Messel we lived in a corner house which had something like a 120-150 meter long sidewalk on the curve that had to be swept. Not too big a deal in spring, summer, or fall, but boy howdy would the people look out their windows in winter (it used to snow a LOT back then, in the 1980s) at the California Boy trying to schipp Schnee… 😀

singingsoul1

I know the feeling 🙂
We have a corner house and I can no longer schipp Schnee so it sits there until it melts. Young men used to come to earn extra money but no longer.

singingsoul1

Every Sunday walk into the forest 🙂 After dinner take a walk is very common.
We bought our house because of walking. People here where I live walk around the cemetery lots of people are walking.

Cuppa Covfefe

Speaking of a walk into the forest, here’s probably the first performance of
HORST JANKOWSKI – A WALK IN THE BLACK FOREST
SWR-Abendschau 19.09.1964  (the one I had before has been taken down 🙁
The composer is at the keyboard in this one)…

A classically trained German pianist, Horst Jankowski is most famous for his internationally successful easy listening music. Jankowski’s fame as a composer of easy listening pop peaked in 1965 with his tune “Eine Schwarzwaldfahrt”, released in English as “A Walk in the Black Forest” (Wikipedia).

Horst Jankowski Singers – Eine Schwarzwaldfahrt

Fischer-Chöre – Schwarzwaldfahrt – 2004

The conductor (at 1:37 he’s the older fellow on the right) was born in our home town (or very close), and very famous as a choral conductor…. and he always kept in touch with his roots… the Schwarzwald is only about a 45-minute drive away from here… except during rush hour, when it seems like a 45-hour drive 🙂

singingsoul1

Thank you. The Shwarzwald reminds me of the Appalachian 🙂
Lucky you living so close to go Wandern im Scharzwald. The dialect is another thing 🙂

Cuppa Covfefe

When we were looking for a kitchen for our freshly-built house, we were looking for the best deal, so we went further, and further, and further into the “hills of Swabia” until the accents were so thick my wife couldn’t understand them 🙂 Seems there are city accents and country accents, and then Deep-in-the-hills-country-accents, where we stopped…

Turns out we got a great deal nearby (sigh of relief) on a Landhausstil Küche “Montana” by Leicht… just spent 10 minutes trying to find it on the web to no avail, then realized we bought it 40 years ago 🙃 Everything now is so steril and clinical… probably would have to go way into the woods to find it now 🙂

Of all the appliances, only the range (oven and stovetop) have survived, but the oven fan just gave out, and it turns out that today’s stovetops are about 2-3 centimeters smaller 😡 So I can either spend a couple of thousand on a new countertop, or, *cough* improvise…. (Cuppa grabs some strips of Buche and starts measuring… what was that again… measure once, cut twice, erm three times, erm…. 🙂 )…

singingsoul1

I am laughing thanks for sharing your story. Never let anything break replacing git is a hassle. I am glad you are handy and creative 🙂

I knew a couple in NYC who were Shwaebisch they kept their accent in tact. You should have heard them speak English it was a tread 😂

Cuppa Covfefe

When I started at HP in Böblingen as part of my Einstand they made me read a Schwäbisch poem… everybody was roaring, even though it wasn’t supposed to be THAT funny 🙂

(Then again, my Geordie Uncle and some of his football teammates [Charlton] convinced me to try and sing “On Ilkla Mooar Baht ‘at” which is Yorkshire English, but almost as far away from US English as Schwäbisch 🙂 They had a good laugh, too… )…..

I can picture you reading a Shwaebisch poem 🙂 You have no idea how I practiced English the the, that instead does and dad 😂

Of course German gets revenge and then some, as umlauts are beyond most non-native speakers… and I shudder to think of having to pronounce Finnish and Icelandic with all their double-umlauted words… I think they stole all the vowels from Wales in the dark of night 🙂

And another one from the Fischerchor, much closer to home (we’ve ridden on this little train, the Sofazügle 🙂 )…

Fischer Chor – Auf der schwäbsche Eisenbahne 2006

Here are the lyrics; it’s a real “earworm”…

Auf de schwäbsche Eisebahne gibt’s gar viele Haltstatione,
Schtuegart, Ulm und Biberach, Mekkebeure, Durlesbach!
Trulla, trulla, trullala, trulla, trulla, trullala,
Schtuegart, Ulm und Biberach, Mekkebeure, Durlesbach!

Auf de schwäbsche Eisebahne wollt amal a Bäurle fahre,

Trulla, trulla, trullala, trulla, trulla, trullala,
geht am Schalter, lüpft de Hut. “Oi Bilettle, seid so gut !”

Einen Bock hat er sich kaufet und daß sie ihm nit verlaufet,
bindet ihn de guete Ma hinte an de hintere Wage a.
Trulla, trulla, trullala, trulla, trulla, trullala,
bindet ihn de guete Ma an de hintere Wage na.

La la la la la ..
Auf de schwäbsche Eisebahn
Trulla, trulla, trullala, trulla, trulla, trullala,
La la la la la ..
Auf de schwäbsche Eisebahn

Wie des Zuegle wieder staut, der Bauer nach sei´m Böckle schaut
findt er bloss no Kopf und Soil an dem hintre Wagetoil.
Trulla, trulla, trullala, trulla, trulla, trullala,
findt er bloss no Kopf und Soil an dem hintre Wagetoil.

‘s packt de Baure a Baurezore, er nimmt de Geißbock bei de Ohre,

Trulla, trulla, trullala, trulla, trulla, trullala,
Schmeißt en, was er schmeiße ka, dem Konduktör an ‘n Ranza na.

And the Fischer Chor singing it, the conductor speaking/singing echt Schwäbisch:

singingsoul1

I had to learn that song in school. German culture is furthered through Volkslieder. Of course you found that out 🙂

At our wedding reception long ago (38 years ago) at our church instead of dancing etc., they did skits (hilarious ones, at that!). Of course the schwäbsche Eisenbahne was one of them 🙂

(Speaking of Volkslieder and Volkstanzen, my sister and her kids joined [in the USA] a Schuhplattler group, who came over here for the 750th anniversary of Miesbach some time ago… they toured all over Bayern and Österreich and I was with them… we ran into a fellow I had worked with up in Darmstadt, and he (working in Hessen) was a little bit embarrassed to be “found out”… all in all, it was a fun, albeit grueling time, as we traveled a lot in a short time… I took a ton of photos, and I don’t think I can eat a Mozartkugel ever again 🙂 )

You made great memories and experiences. Fun stories to tell. Great for sharing thanks 🙂

And their new partnership with a fusion power company is moving forward…

Siting and Construction Start Planned for 2026

SARASOTA, Fla., Jan. 06, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. (Nasdaq, NYSE Texas: DJT) (“TMTG”) and TAE Technologies, Inc. (“TAE”) announced today that the site selection planning process for the first fusion power plant based on TAE’s technology is underway and that, following the receipt of required approvals and the closing of their previously announced merger, the combined company is anticipated to begin construction of its first fusion power plant in 2026, which is expected to be 50 MWe. Future plants are expected to be 350 – 500 MWe.

Criteria for the initial site are expected to include:

Minimum of 20 acres, facilitating construction of a planned 50 MWe fusion reactor, a future 350 – 500 MWe fusion reactor, and a next-generation reactor for advanced research

Access to a primary distribution grid that can transport adequate electricity to and from the plant

Proximity to a metropolitan hub, airport, and pool of local talent

Presence of local and state governments that support energy production and fusion power

Ability to maintain sufficient security for infrastructure and personnel

TMTG Chairman and CEO Devin Nunes said, “The TMTG team is actively holding discussions with multiple states and entities about potential sites as we look forward to completing this merger. These are the initial steps to spark a renaissance in American energy to secure safe, clean, abundant, and affordable fusion power that will lower Americans’ energy bills and guarantee America’s predominant position in the A.I. revolution.”

Wolf Moon

OK, I have to ask what this group has achieved in the lab, to begin site work in 2026. IMO the only way this happens is that they have something which could stall at current levels of output and still produce energy profitably.

Gudthots

And is it related in any way at all to this?

Wolf Moon

The relationship is only very big and very fuzzy, in that Trump is promoting a re-embrace of nuclear energy – in particular with new, higher tech that increases safety, efficiency, sustainability, and “diversity” (a deadly word, but working very nicely in fusion, it would appear).

Trump’s friends are working with a new form of “aneutronic fusion” – which is not the most common form of fusion. I suspect they have something “early and working better than expected” – something that may be beyond the brink of commercialization.

Reaction video that reminds me of my own reaction – long ago!

cthulhu

I got onboard the Rush train with their next album, “A Farewell to Kings”, which I heard over at a friend’s house as I was in my senior year of High School. I had to back into “2112”, and soon was the only person I knew who bought “Hemispheres”.

On its initial playing, the dorm handyman rewired my room for 220V and my amplifier blew up.

[The dorms were wired using neutral, +110, -110. The individual rooms were in banks of four with either +110 and neutral, or -110 and neutral. Unfortunately, if your room had a wall between the pluses and the minuses, there were wires for both in the common electrical boxes. The handyman connected my common to the opposite polarity for the room, meaning that my outlets had +110, -110 — or 220V. Same for the other four rooms of that bank.]

cthulhu

After a couple of weeks, when my amp was repaired, I finally got to hear

Wolf Moon

I was next door to a pair of fairly studious, straight-arrow, country-boy-types who happened to be Rush-heads. Whereas my hippier Dead-head friends from high school had never been able to convert me to their musical faith, 2112 was just mind-blowing on quality stereo equipment. And it was being sold by serious students. This was something I could love!

Gudthots

Oooh boy.

One of the criticisms of the Trump accounts is that rich people can put more into them than parents of poor children. The ability of companies to add to these Trump accounts is destroying that argument. This seems like something Howard Lutnick would have had his hand in.

🚨BREAKING:*🚨Governor Kay Ivey just signed the **Child Predator Death Penalty Act** into law.

Death penalty now on the table for first-degree rape, sodomy, or sexual torture of any child under 12.

No excuses. No kid gloves for monsters. No mercy for predators.

Alabama is putting children FIRST and sick freaks on notice.

That’s real leadership. Period. 💪🏼👏🏼

pgroup2

Y’all should expect a lot of jury nullification verdicts.

Gail Combs

I was just thinking the same.

Aubergine

Why?

Is everybody on the pervert’s side?

Do you really think that people on juries who have to hear, see, and experience the actual evidence involved in the rape of a child would balk at killing them?

If that actually happens, then this world is in worse shape than I thought.

Wolf Moon

The law seems on the surface to have such objections covered, by specifying “First Degree”. This gives prosecutors and juries room to take the death penalty off the table for cases that are less horrific, non-violent, etc. But the main point is that it puts the death penalty ON the table for horrible cases where the victim survives or is not murdered.

This is a return to a time when rape could be a capital crime – precisely to deal with the horrific cases.

Aubergine

Agreed. Somebody rapes a six-year-old? Dead. Somebody tortures a twelve year old and rapes them? Dead.

But for me, if they get me on a jury, which they won’t, I am Old Testament, Wild West on this kind of thing.

Because some people shouldn’t be breathing our air.

pgroup2

I missed that part. Sorry.

Wolf Moon

No problem – I missed it, too, upon my first reading!

singingsoul1

Why only under 12? Get them at least up to 16 ?

pgroup2

It’s an arbitrary age intended to be when puberty happens.

singingsoul1

pgroup2

  :wpds_shutmouth:

singingsoul1

 😂

Wolf Moon

Twelve is already beyond the age where voluntary sex starts for kids whose testimony is considered dubious at best in the eyes of the law. Things are then getting very complicated at 13. It’s not so much the clear-cut cases – it’s the borderline cases that start the problem.

I think this law is good as defined, because it hits the egregious cases, not the dubious ones, with capital crime status.

singingsoul1

Thank you that makes sense 🤔

Aubergine

PLEASE, ALL 50 STATES.

Cuppa Covfefe

Yep. Now for the other 49 states and the territories (soon to include Alberta? 🙂 )…..

Gail Combs

Mark Smith talks about a 2nd Amendment case before an Appeals Court. I think the Anti-gun judge, Cindy Cheung, may have gotten tripped by AI. (8 minutes) She cited a law that was dug up by a wet behind the ears newly minted lawyer, that does not exist!

The state of NJ had a difficult oral argument in their latest sensitive places fight before the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit!

Comment by Mike Clenn:

Cheung asked Patterson (Koons) about the law that didn’t exist,..and he immediately corrected her. It was hilarious, but of course we could not bust out laughing inside the courtroom

pgroup2

I’d have burst out laughing inside a trial. Judge warns you, you apologize, life goes on. But you don’t do it again.

patfrederick

I might be the only one, but i want nothing to do with ai. the scheme is always the same. It’s fun–try it in art, music, games…then it gets elevated to diagnosing, writing papers, becoming “trusted” instead of “fun” maybe taking over mundane tasks, then it’s used to perform medical tasks– making “opinions” about optimal results until ultimately it make decisions.
we are becoming lazier and lazier instead of developing OURSELVES, we are developing what will take us over.
the hubris that we will always be able to “control it” are laughable.

kalbokalbs

Increasingly Slippery Slope.

cthulhu

I could think of many reasons to have an AI in your house and not available to every Tom, Dick, and Harry on the internet. It wouldn’t be “general purpose”, but you could give it reading lists of things it was supposed to know about.

When my parents were in college (1960s), they studied physics and were discussing various concepts with the professor. The quantity of electricity carried in 1 second by a current of 1 ampere is the Coulomb. The professor continued that there was the international Coulomb, the statcoulomb, the abcoulomb and, of course, the Harry Coulomb (which was the name of one of their classmates). Whenever I think of Tom, Dick, and Harry, I figure they’re all Coulombs.

patfrederick

why would i want it in my house?
people who rush into this stuff…they always ask…can I do it? they should be asking SHOULD I?
some crazy person may be able to create the perfect watchdog by transplanting the head of a lion on to the body of a dog with the added wings of an eagle…but SHOULD HE?
There is God.
why do men strive to become God?

cthulhu

Let’s take a real-world example. The Fiancee is watching television in her room, so I quietly get involved in a project. When there is a commercial break, she comes into my room and says something like, “where is X?”

Mind you, she has no problem shoving X in a corner, rearranging the corner with X, and burying X with some of her projects…..but I’m still supposed to keep track of the location of X anyway.

I am capable of keeping track of hundreds or thousands of individual widgets around the house, but I would be ecstatic if I could offload this onto a box and not have to deal with it.

patfrederick

OR you could make her responsible for finding it instead of being her Where’s Waldo toy.
I did this with my kids as they were growing up. I asked Where did YOU put it? Where did YOU see it last? I will help YOU look when I’ve finished with what I’m doing.

pgroup2

So mean, you are.

  :wpds_lol:

patfrederick

I really didn’t mean to be at all.
coothie’s time is every bit as valuable as hers is, and she needs to accept that.

pgroup2

patfrederick

I’m not attacking anyone. and I don’t mean to hurt feelings. and it’s only my opinion.

if i hurt coothie’s feeling, I deeply apologize!

Aubergine

I was told long ago that you teach people how to treat you. And it’s true. Sadly, if you allow it, most people will make you a doormat. I don’t even think most of them mean to do it; it’s just the path of least resistance, which most people will take. Humans are inherently lazy.

Gudthots

When there is a pattern of misbehavior, my first question often is, “how have I been rewarding this behavior?”

Aubergine

YES.

kalbokalbs

NC calling.

pgroup2

That’s exactly how I treat my wife and she gets annoyed about it once in awhile. So I tell her that one of the reasons we are married is so we can care for each other. For one of us to make up for the parts the other one lacks. That works most of the time.

  :wpds_unamused:

patfrederick

working as a team is awesome, but keeping track of your own things is a basic child learning skill.
getting older is difficult and memory can be tricky. but locating things someone has misplaced can be time consuming and distracting.
so i always ask where did YOU see it last? what were YOU using it for/ to do? usually that jogs hubby’s memory and he retrieves it on his own.

cthulhu

Her memory is getting bad.

pgroup2

While yours is getting better.

Okay, … bad joke. Sorry.

singingsoul1

My husband and I split what we remember . He takes care of some things writes it down to remember and I do the rest. Together we have a full function brain 😂
Of course if one of us is no longer there will be a problem and our kids will see who will adopt better he or I.
One thing is I keep all in my head and leave no info except what I tell him and he instantly forgets he made a binder and updates it so I am totally informed. He is good in that writing things down.

patfrederick

i apologize.

cthulhu

No need. It’s just a bear I’ve got to cross….

patfrederick

and I should keep my nose out it. sorry!

kalbokalbs

Prolly needs another Booster. Or had one too many.

Wolf Moon

You need to start thinking of where assisted living and memory care are best. Is that CA or NC?

I should add that many families send their elders from states such as CA to OH, due to price, quality, central location, and diversity of city size, etc.

Gudthots

I had problems with this in the long ago past, during some times of extra inflammation systemically. Recently i remembered (!) that I got some relief from those memory issues by starting to take krill oil softgels (just one a day). I think it was about 8 weeks ago now I started taking them again, and what do you know, it did make a difference. (YMMV) The brain needs energy in the form of fats and/or sugars. Krill hits the spot better for me.

Wolf Moon

Any omega-3 supplements are good for memory, IMO, but I know that many people really like the krill and mussel based ones.

Because He gave them free will.

At least you don’t say Tom, Dick and Harry real fast.

Gail Combs

Gudthots

It’s reasonable to have a way to phone home, but I don’t have to keep it powered on! So it’s usually powered off and maybe in a emf blocking bag on top of that.

Humans always run the tech.

If the tech is oppressing you, it’s because some human told it to oppress you.

patfrederick

and what makes you assume that it is not already inherent in the software? I don’t know a thing about software admittedly, but if there is a way for evil men to control the rest of the world? who would you think of first? Donald Trump or Bill Gates?

pgroup2

It still can’t create. It can only ‘funnel’ [sift] data into a ‘end point’ at which point a per-determined action will occur.

A human caused all of those instructions to be there.

That is your oppressor.

kalbokalbs

Somehow I think AI has made the next leap. Unaccounted for above.

The leave out the foreign influence, Hansjörg Wyss. Not that Georgy isn’t a foreign influence planted into the USA a ILLEGALLY by the CIA.

From Brave AI

MG Show has produced a multi-part series titled Arabella Advisors: The Third Pillar of Election Integrity, which investigates the role of Arabella Advisors—a $1.7 billion “dark money” consultancy—within the context of U.S. election integrity.

  • Arabella Advisors was founded in 2005 by Eric Kessler, a former Clinton Administration appointee, following the 2004 Democratic losses.
  •  The group emerged from a meeting convened by George Soros and Hansjörg Wyss to rebuild progressive influence.
  • The series frames Arabella Advisors as the Third Pillar of Election Integrity, alongside electronic voting machine vulnerabilities (“Fraction Magic”) and the use of mail-in ballots with ballot harvesting.
  • Arabella operates through affiliated nonprofits like The New Venture Fund (501(c)(3)) and Sixteen Thirty Fund (501(c)(4)), channeling undisclosed funds to progressive causes, watchdog groups, and policy shops.
  • The organization is linked to the Clinton Foundation, with donor ties to figures like John A. Poulos, co-founder of Dominion Voting Systems.
  • MG Show asserts that Arabella Advisors functions as a central node in a foreign and domestic dark money network, aligning with QAnon’s “All assets [F] + [D] being deployed” directive.
  • The series has been promoted across platforms including Telegram, YouTube, and podcasts, with live presentations and ongoing updates.
  • Recent content (as of 2025) includes discussions on Bill Gates pulling out of Arabella Advisors and Lindsey Graham confirming the group’s influence.

Hansjörg Wyss – Wikipedia

a Swiss billionaire businessman and donor to politically liberal and environmental causes in the United States. He is the founder and former president and chairman of Synthes, a medical device manufacturer. His Wyss Foundation has nearly $2 billion in assets.

…. Having donated hundreds of millions of dollars to environmental causes, he has more recently increased his donations to groups promoting progressive causes… In the United States, Wyss is a major donor of the Democratic Party.[5] Wyss’s political giving has come under scrutiny since foreign nationals without permanent residency in the United States are prohibited from donating directly to federal political candidates or political action committees.

Meet the Swiss Billionaire Behind Arabella Advisors’ “Dark Money” Empire — capital research org

Wyss….his success is marred by ghoulish controversy. In 2009, Synthes USA—with Wyss at its head—was charged by Philadelphia’s U.S. attorney with running an illegal clinical trial on humans: Injecting them with a cement that turns to bone inside the human skeleton. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reportedly told the company not to use the cement during spine surgeries. Synthes ignored the warning, and five people died as a result.

Four of Synthes’ top executives were ultimately sentenced to prison. One wonders if liberal billionaire privilege saved Wyss from sharing the blame—he wasn’t charged by prosecutors—but he’s been accused of purposefully ignoring clinical trials and of being a “hands-on,” “forceful,” “800-pound gorilla” who allowed little dissent in the ranks…

Another Progressive ghoul!

Continued

The Hub Project

The Wyss Foundation has funneled nearly $57 million into the New Venture Fund, Arabella’s flagship 501(c)(3), since 2009.

Little is known about how that money was spent. But a 2015 document created for the Wyss Foundation outlines a plan for a “communications hub”—intended to support the foundation’s “core issue areas,” “drive measurable change,” and achieve “significant wins” “leading to implementation of policy solutions at the local, state, and federal level”—which is strikingly similar to an existing Arabella group, the Hub Project.

Politico reports the Hub Project aided Democrats on “health care, taxes and the economy” in the 2018 midterm elections. The Atlantic cheerfully credits the Hub Project with doing “remarkable damage” to President Trump’s reputation among Wisconsin voters in the lead-up to the 2020 election. In April the group hired a campaign director whose last job was flipping the Senate in 2020 for a top Democratic PAC…

Cuppa Covfefe

Sounds like another one of the “Smurfers”…. a practice which should be declared illegal… SatanSauros and his various foundations (as well as the Klint00ns) are long-time practitioners of that…

Ma’am, let me introduce you to Duke. That “threatening” animal spent six years deployed with Marine Special Operations. He’s a certified Multi-Purpose Canine. While most people run away from danger, Duke runs toward it.
His resume: Tracking high-value targets.
Detecting explosives before they turn into funerals.
Shot twice in the line of duty.
That scar on his shoulder? Shrapnel from an IED in Helmand Province. Despite being wounded and bleeding, Duke located four more devices in that same area to keep his team safe.
The limp you’re staring at? He took multiple rounds during an ambush to save his handler. Because of him, a 22-year-old Marine got to go home to his daughter.
Duke has a Navy Commendation Medal. He has a Purple Heart. He is credited with saving over 40 American lives.
And the most important stat? Zero bite incidents. The only thing Duke has ever snapped at were threats trying to harm our troops.
So no, I won’t be moving seats. But you are more than welcome to lean over and thank him for his service.

EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE

Verse of the Day for Tuesday, February 17, 2026

“Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.”

Psalms 150:6 (KJV)

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 150

A psalm of praise.

– We are here stirred up to praise God. Praise God for his sanctuary, and the privileges we enjoy by having it among us; praise him because of his power and glory in the firmament. Those who praise the Lord in heaven, behold displays of his power and glory which we cannot now conceive. But the greatest of all his mighty acts is known in his earthly sanctuary. The holiness and the love of our God are more displayed in man’s redemption, than in all his other works. Let us praise our God and Saviour for it. We need not care to know what instruments of music are mentioned. Hereby is meant that in serving God we should spare no cost or pains. Praise God with strong faith; praise him with holy love and delight; praise him with entire confidence in Christ; praise him with believing triumph over the powers of darkness; praise him by universal respect to all his commands; praise him by cheerful submission to all his disposals; praise him by rejoicing in his love, and comforting ourselves in his goodness; praise him by promoting the interests of the kingdom of his grace; praise him by lively hope and expectation of the kingdom of his glory. Since we must shortly breathe our last, while we have breath let us praise the Lord; then we shall breathe our last with comfort. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Such is the very suitable end of a book inspired by the Spirit of God, written for the work of praise; a book which has supplied the songs of the church for more than three thousand years; a book which is quoted more frequently than any other by Christ and his apostles; a book which presents the loftiest ideas of God and his government, which is fitted to every state of human life, which sets forth every state of religious experience, and which bears simple and clear marks of its Divine origin.

Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

PRAISE THE LORD

Praise the Lord – Who guides our way;
Through His Spirit – to brighten our day;
Touching our hearts – gently and deep;
His Honor and Glory – we value to keep!

Our Father – Who loves us unconditionally;
Is right beside us where we need Him to be;
With Gifts of Grace – to bless us all day;
His Spirit abides – to guide our way!

Praise the Lord – what better advisor;
Could we ever hope – would make us wiser;
When we are perplexed about what to do;
God has a message just for me and you!

Through His Spirit – God speaks to us;
He works out the particulars without the fuss;
He guides us through life’s ups and downs;
Through our successes – and turnarounds!

Praise the Lord – in good times and bad;
Throughout his correction – don’t be sad;
Know that God loves us no matter what;
Through our if/then – and even our but!

God knows what we need before we do;
Cause He sees in the heart of me and you;
All He needs is acknowledgement thrust;
From outside to inside – In God we trust!

Our Faith needs replenishment almost daily;
We need to repent of our sins most ably;
No hiding behind our justification;
Cause God knows our heart identification!

Whenever you are caught in a dilemma or two;
Just go to the Quiet – Let God speak to you;
For in the silence – of your own heart;
His secrets to you – He will gladly impart!

Praise the Lord – for His intuit inspection;
His enduring love – His careful correction;
Whenever we doubt – whatever the case;
It is all about Virtue – His Gift of Grace!

Yours Truly: It appears that Pelosi is heavily involved with raising funds for, and “vouching for”, Gavin Newsom to be the DNC 2028 Presidential candidate.
Believe it or not, Kamala Harris still has the lead, so far, in DemCommunist polling for President in 2028.
DNC 2028 VP slot? Open, so far. May be that AOC was/is being “readied” for possibility. Until the Munich conference, perhaps. IMO, Spanberger of Virginia is a “backup” or “if all else fails, use this” potential DNC 2028 candidate here.

Newscum can NOT point to one positive achievement.

Rubio’s speech was good diplomacy. Highlighting the common ground between Europe and America. Barron speaks to that and also to AOC’s marxist rejection of it.

A recent statement by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez illuminates the Marxist ideology which continues to take hold of American politicians. Here are my thoughts.

Gudthots

Wolf, Gail, you may want to bookmark this.

He points to what of the level of rhetoric heard from AOC and others means right now…

As clergy,, and as a student of history, he is raising the alarm.
Reminding us all that the Marxists will come first FOR THE CHRISTIANS.

He is sounding a warning that must be taken seriously.
As you well know.

Gail Combs

WOW!

I was looking for something else and found this. It is very very much worth reading… AND PASSING ON!

The Case Of George Soros
This is a story from the web site of
Czech political analyst Honza Malina
http://Anti-CommunistAnalyst.com
Mr. Petr Cibulka and Ms. Jani Allan
contributed to this report.

Just a taste:

….Soros was not only able to “pass through” these check points but he was able to cross the border to Austria, where the Red Army was also present at the time, and Soros was able to get through the Red Army check points in Austria and “defect” to the West all the way to London, U.K. Un-parallel achievement and because of my personal experiences as a political refugee who had to go through some difficulties escaping the communist oppression, I know what I’m talking about.

I don’t know how this Soros’s “life story” sounds to anybody but this is impossible to happen unless George had a permit and proper Soviet approved passport because if he was so brave to try to run these check points he would’ve been shot dead on a spot by the communists.

His stay in the U.K. and his 1947 enrolment to London School of Economics, and to be able financially support himself during that time, with no mentioned help or financial backing, and to be able to graduate in 1952 at that young age, this all gives me chills where I missed my own opportunities and how come I wasn’t able to be so “fortunate” and to have such “miraculous achievements” in my life….

This guy tears Soros life story to shreds letting in sunlight. AND exposing others.

George Soros has been involved in South Africa since 1979 as he claims. He poured money [where did he get them since most of the money he made came from his British Pound scheme in 1992 where Soros was allegedly helped by alleged KGB agent Marc Rich, the FBI fugitive Clinton has pardoned in 2000 ?] into South African Unions [mostly communists] and also to Cape Town University where Soros financed people who are today involved in the ANC communist government. Well, what an achievement again, George !

I can honestly say that this analysis would become longer and longer if I had to list every detail and obvious discrepancy in Soros’s life and in his “philanthropic fever” but to pour total of $198 millions into South Africa and to come up with a communist government, it doesn’t really serve the “Soros’s purpose” but only the Russian communist World Domination strategy…

kalbokalbs

Money.

Unfortunately he is talking about most small farmers. I went to an Ag school in the late 1960s. My classmates were farmers. ALL had parents with other full time jobs. Back then if Mom worked, Dad could mostly farm. Now, that is no longer possible because it takes two salaries not one.

patfrederick

my SIL is a full time farmer–and he works his butt off–cows, goats, hay, wheat, alfalfa, corn, timothy…
he works the family farm and rents fields elsewhere. He works like a dog–but a nicer, more helpful man, would be hard to find.
and the fact that some years they barely make ends meet is sad.

Gail Combs

Does he also do outside jobs? Does your Daughter work?

For most of those I know, the farm pays for it’self…. barely.

patfrederick

yes she does work, but on weekends, she’s right there with him and my granddaughter know how to operate all kinds of farm equipment so she can work the farm in the summers.

Gail Combs

Good morning, C&C, it’s Tuesday! Your fast-breaking roundup includes: the New York Times finally notices the vaccine industry is a smoking crater and can barely contain its surprise; Big Pharma’s TV ad addiction faces a bipartisan intervention; AI is coming for your doctor’s job (and your doctor knows it) but patients may benefit most; Chinese AI video gets scary good, Hollywood should be terrified, but we have a lot to look forward to; and twenty-year veteran Anderson Cooper rage-quits 60 Minutes for committing journalism.

kalbokalbs

W I N N I N G ! Day 48.

True, we have yet to have accountability, Covid Jab Bans…. Which we Must Have.

But we are winning AND it’ll only get better.

From today’s C&C. ht Barker Jim

We’ve waited a painfully long time to see this story. The New York Times, which spent the last four years labeling anyone who questioned mRNA vaccines as anti-science conspiracy theorists, ran a lusciously ironic story yesterday headlined, “Vaccine Makers Curtail Research and Cut Jobs.“ The sub-headline was even better: RFK’s policies have “sent a chill through the entire industry,” one scientist moaned. You know what else sent a chill? Getting fired from your nursing job for declining a shot that —as it turns out— everyone now agrees doesn’t prevent infection. At best.

It’s a bloodbath of red ink, spilling out of a giant needle.

In Massachusetts, mRNA darling Moderna is pulling back on vaccine studies after Secretary Kennedy nixed all its mRNA grants. In Texas, a small jab company canceled all plans to build a new factory. In San Diego, another vaccine manufacturing company laid off workers. Moderna’s own president, Dr. Stephen Hoge, complained to the Times, “There will be less invention, investment, and innovation in vaccines generally, across all the companies.”

That sounds like a complaint, but I take it as a promise.

Meanwhile, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, projecting, ironically told reporters there is “almost like a religion” around vaccines in Washington. When reporters asked Bourla what needs to change, the CEO snipped, “The health secretary.” Very subtle. Maybe he should try that approach on his next earnings call— “You know what would really help Pfizer’s stock price? A different electorate.”

Consider the delectable wreckage. Moderna’s stock has cratered more than 90% from its August 2021 peak— erasing roughly $180 billion in market value. The company laid off over 800 workers, lost $700 million in bird-flu contracts after the administration canceled them, and shelved vaccines for herpes, shingles, and chickenpox. (Cutting the herpes jab was particularly fitting, since Moderna is also an embarrassing rash that won’t go away.)

Last week, the FDA refused to even review Moderna’s mRNA flu vaccine, which caused the Alliance for mRNA Medicines to accuse the agency of having “arbitrarily moved the goal post.” Wild: The people who re-defined “vaccine” mid-pandemic dare to lecture us about moving goalposts. At Davos, Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel announced the company would stop investing in late-stage vaccine trials in the United States entirely.

“You cannot make a return on investment,” Bancel explained, “if you don’t have access to the U.S. market.”

This is Big Pharma’s Chernobyl moment. For years, they told everyone the reactor was stable and anyone who questioned safety was a conspiracy theorist. Now the graphite is scattered across the parking lot, and Moderna’s CEO is explaining from Switzerland why he won’t run tests in America anymore. The story is practically made for streaming.

For its part, the New York Times, which spent the last four years lecturing everybody about how wonderful mRNA vaccines were, ran this story at the top of its home page. Translated from Times-speak into English, the headline means: “The people who told you to shut up were wrong, the people you were told to shut up about were right, and now nobody wants to invest in the thing we promised would save civilization.” So.

The anti-vaxxer movement has been around for a long time, laboring in the wilderness. They just couldn’t get much traction; Pharma successfully framed them as kooks and cranks. Sure, they wrote volumes of books, delivered fiery lectures to each other, and otherwise created as much of a nuisance as they could. Until the pandemic. Whoever unleashed covid from the lab in Wuhan unleashed a lot more than a virus.

The pharmaceutical chickens have come home to roost. Over on BlueSky, progressives point at measles cases and cry buckets about how conservatives don’t care about health. But they have it exactly backwards. We care about health. And we are paying a whole lot more attention to it now, junior.

https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/curtailed-tuesday-february-17-2026

PAVACA

Albert BOURLA, DVM, the CEO of PfizerUSA, wasn’t kidding or even “being subtle” regarding getting a “new health secretary.”

kalbokalbs

Yup. Thankfully. Big Pharma Jab Industry is nearly DIW – Dead In (the) Water, with RFK Jr HHS.

Great progress, Jab wise. We both, all know, Not nearly enough progress. Covid Jabs AND Accountability, mandatory.

Firefly

He also shared this on today”s c&c:

Allow me to share a little personal story. Back in November, I noticed a little smudge on my left calf. It was hard to see through the thicket of leg hair, but I could just make it out. A darker patch. I ignored it (of course) since it didn’t hurt, wasn’t itchy, and wasn’t asking me for $50 to go to the movies with its friends.

A few weeks later, I glanced down in the shower to retrieve a loose loofa, and was shocked to find the discolored patch was three times as big, about 9 inches long and three inches wide, and troublingly turning black in the middle. I’ll admit to feeling a little alarmed. The last thing I wanted to do was admit to anyone I’d let it go.

So I dried off, nervously took a blurry cell phone pic, and, while still in a state of nature, plopped it into the ChatGPT app.

I didn’t expect much. You could hardly see the dark patch through my gorilla-like leg hair. With damp fingers, I ponderously typed, “What’s this??” The chatbot was unfazed. “Ringworms,” it immediately and confidently diagnosed. What? Ringworms? How? When? “Get some Lamisil,” it suggested, helpfully urging, “quickly, before it spreads. Want me to find you the nearest CVS?”

I followed Dr. Chat’s orders. The fungal rash (or whatever) cleared up. After a careful and diligent investigation —I asked Michelle— we suspect the source was some cheap sheep-fur Croc boots that I’d shamefully ordered to keep my feet warm while blogging in the wee hours. (Michelle: “it’s probably those ridiculous boots you wear all the time.”)

The point is, under the old way, I’d have waited six weeks for an appointment, spent a half-day seeing the doctor for ninety seconds, and been told to buy the same over-the-counter remedy that high-school wrestlers are intimately familiar with (retail: $7.99).

IMPRESSIVE REPORT – WORTH A LISTEN !!!

kalbokalbs

In search of my surprised face.

Jesse Jackson passed away.

I have two Jesse Jackson stories:

1. As a college student with a mushy brain who had not yet reached full adulthood, I worked on his 1984 Presidential campaign. Yes, I know. You don’t have to tell me.

2. In my last Pentagon job I used to have to go over to the Capitol periodically to brief staffers on one of the programs I was responsible for. There I am one day, full Class A uniform, going down an escalator inside the Capitol, and two steps in front of me is Jesse Jackson. He turned around and looked at me. I said to him with a smile “Good morning Reverend Jackson!” He looked me up and down with a frown and turned back around without saying anything.

That’s it. Those are my two Jesse Jackson stories.

If one needs another reason to dislike FISA, here’s a slew of them.

SD

Disinformation Board Member Jennifer Daskal Appointed as FISA Court Advisor

A good catch by Chuck Ross at WFB drawing attention to the latest Amici curiae appointed to the FISA Court.

Adding to a string of leftist ‘advisors to the court’ Jennifer Daskal has been appointed by FISA Court Presiding Judge Anthony Trenga.

Daskal was the Biden administration principal deputy general counsel at the Department of Homeland Security who launched the Disinformation Governance Board (Ministry of Truth) ultimately led by Nina Jankowicz.

Jennifer Daskal’s career has centers around controlling information from a leftist perspective and was one of the core officials who used the term dis-mis-mal-information to censor speech on social media platforms around COVID-19 and the vaccination protocol.

Daskal’s reach and control into big tech and social media is well documented. Appointing her as an advisor to the FISA court is troubling as she has joined Amy Jeffress, appointed amicus curiae in 2015 (Biden’s personal attorney), David Kris, a 2016 amicus curiae selection (denied Carter Page FISA application contained fabrications), and the infamous Mary McCord appointed amicus curiae in 2021 (sits at the center of every stop-Trump operation).

I do recall July last year, Trump signed in some digital currency something into law.

today, Slow Guy focused enough to realize it is, US Stablecoins Act. (GENIUS)

Brave delivered this on, US Stablecoins Act. (GENIUS). Some may find it helpful, scroll on or, old news.

US Stablecoins Act. (GENIUS)

GENIUS Act: The Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act (GENIUS Act) is the first comprehensive federal legislation regulating stablecoins in the United States. Signed into law by President Donald Trump on July 18, 2025, it establishes a clear regulatory framework for payment stablecoins—digital assets designed to maintain a stable value relative to a national currency, such as the U.S. dollar.

Key Provisions:

  • 1:1 Reserve Requirement: Issuers must back each stablecoin with one dollar of permitted reserves, including cash, insured deposits, short-dated U.S. Treasury bills, repurchase agreements (repos) backed by Treasuries, and other low-risk government-issued assets.
  • Regulatory Oversight: The Act creates a dual federal and state supervision system. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is the primary regulator for federally approved nonbank issuers, while other entities fall under the oversight of the Federal Reserve, FDIC, or NCUA based on their structure.
  • Permitted Issuers: Only entities approved as “permitted payment stablecoin issuers”—including insured depository institutions, federally chartered nonbank entities, and state-qualified issuers—can legally issue stablecoins in the U.S.
  • Exclusions: Payment stablecoins are explicitly not classified as securities or commodities, meaning they are not subject to SEC or CFTC regulation.
  • Compliance Requirements: Issuers must comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions laws, and undergo regular audits by registered public accounting firms.
  • Effective Date: The law takes effect on the earlier of (i) 18 months after enactment (i.e., January 18, 2027) or (ii) 120 days after federal regulators issue final implementing rules—whichever comes first.

Impact: The GENIUS Act aims to protect consumers, ensure financial stability, maintain U.S. dollar dominance in global payments, and position the U.S. as a leader in digital asset innovation. It also sets a precedent for future federal digital asset regulation.

Then I read this.

This new decentralized financial system is ALREADY happening.

“Over the last couple of years, they have become a cash proxy in digital asset markets and a handy instrument for cross border payments, among other uses.

Stablecoin market cap has grown at a CAGR of 77% over the past five years, reaching more than $250 billion and in 2024, stablecoin transfer volume surged to $27.6 trillion—more volume than Visa and Mastercard combined.”
(Bold ^^^ mine.)

  • “In traditional credit card systems today, there’s usually between a two to three percent fee.
  • If stablecoins are used by existing companies they may add a small fee, but that fee is usually far, far, far less,” Turakhia said.
  • (Bold and format, ^^^ mine.)

And this…

“But unlike traditional payment systems, stablecoins move at the speed of the blockchain.

“It takes 200 milliseconds now and so when I hit send, it’s submitted to the blockchain, it’s confirmed quickly, and then it lands in the merchant’s wallet,” he said.

Traditional credit and debit card payments can take days to actually show up in a merchant’s bank account.”

OK so I learned a lot in this Joe Lang series. More to come, I am sure.

Perhaps some day I, (We?) will want, need, to use stablecoin. A whole new process to learn.

It seems like a step towards CBDC. Which gives me pause.

Seems like we have time before stablecoin comes online / available in the US.

Brave

  • Effective Date: The law takes effect on the earlier of (i) 18 months after enactment (i.e., January 18, 2027) or (ii) 120 days after federal regulators issue final implementing rules—whichever comes first.

The problem with govt officials, legislators, teachers, ministers encouraging lawless behavior towards ice, they are teaching people that its ok to resist all authority. People are already starting to act the same with police. Next will be firemen, and then the governors, legislators, ministers, teachers, parents etc. And when all those authorities decide it isn’t worth it to do their jobs, then the gangs and cartels will take over. Though it might be hilarious to see how long Karens can blow whistles in the faces of gang bangers, I really don’t want things to get to that point. When I was a long-haired 60s hippie [yeah I’m that old], my favorite bumpersticker/slogan was ‘Question Authority’.

I didn’t know anybody who thought that meant Resist Authority. Today, I do know people who misread it.

They’re called leftists/commies/democrats.

GREAT news!

– OIL AND GAS projects in Texas, Ohio

The Gas Power Plant in Ohio (A State I won THREE TIMES!) will be the largest in History, the LNG Facility in the Gulf of America will drive Exports, and further our Country’s Energy DOMINANCE, and our Critical Minerals Facility will end our FOOLISH dependance on Foreign Sources.

America is building again. America is producing again. And America is WINNING again.

This is a very exciting and HISTORIC time for the United States of America and Japan. Congratulations to all!”

NEW: John Solomon and Dan Bongino discuss bypassing the filibuster to pass the Save America Act and President Trump revealing evidence foreign governments meddled in the 2020 election.

“I think Trump is going to change the narrative in America. I think he’s going to change some senator’s minds. And he’s going to do it by revealing some of the intelligence that Chris Wray, Chris Krebs, and other officials in charge of the integrity of our elections… kept from the American people.”

“We’re going to see that our foreign adverseries have monkeyed in our system more than we knew. More than those foreign drivers license that came into Chicago… More than China sending fake driver’s licenses to help Joe Biden…”

“And I think when Senators realize their state could have been targeted and the contention of the identity of some of their voters could have been assumed, I think there is going to be a different debate in America… I think there’s some big, significant, and very troubling revelations about the vulnerabilities of our elections that the President is about to unveil on the American public.”

Kamal-the-hoe and AOC…. The whore and the bore…

what utter bullshit!
A federal judge on Tuesday barred the Trump administration from taking Kilmar Abrego Garcia back into federal immigration custody.
U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis, appointed to the bench in Maryland by President Barack Obama, ruled that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents cannot re-detain Abrego Garcia due to his 90-day detention period expiring and the Trump administration ostensibly having no concrete plan to remove him from the United States, according to court documents. The order marks a major win for the illegal migrant, who has been resisting deportation since his return from his home country of El Salvador.
“Although Respondents released Abrego Garcia pursuant to this Court’s Order, they also appeared to make speedy plans to re-detain him, in violation of certainly the spirit, if not the letter, of that decision,” Xinis stated in her order.
“Respondents are ENJOINED from taking Petitioner Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia into ICE custody,” the Obama judge continued. “Respondents SHALL immediately transmit this Order to all relevant officers, agents, and employees under their control and who are involved in this matter and in the Tennessee Criminal Matter.”
The Department of Homeland Security did not respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Abrego Garcia, who is accused of being an MS-13 gang member and a repeat wife beater, has been battling the Trump administration in the courtroom since his deportation to El Salvador in March and subsequent return to the U.S. Federal prosecutors wish to seek his permanent removal from the country.
While Abrego Garcia has expressed a willingness to be deported to Costa Rica, the Trump administration has insisted on sending him to the African country of Liberia, according to court documents. He was returned to the U.S. to face human smuggling charges in Tennessee, with those legal proceedings still underway.

EVENING PRAYERS

Healing Prayers

Prayer for Restorative Rest

Healing Hand, as I lay in my bed this evening, I pray for Your restorative power to touch my life. Mend what has been broken, soothe what has been hurt, and heal what has been wounded. May I find in sleep the healing that my body and spirit need and wake to a day of renewed health and vitality. Amen.

Evening Prayer for Wholeness

Gentle Healer, with the night’s calm, I seek Your healing for my body, mind, and soul. Where there is pain, bring relief; where there is fatigue, bring restoration; where there is distress, bring tranquility. Wrap me in Your peace as I trust in Your loving care to make me whole. Amen.

Prayer for Comfort in Illness

Lord of Comfort, as I face the trials of illness, I pray for Your healing touch. Ease my discomfort, calm my anxiety, and deliver me from my afflictions. In Your mercy, may I find the comfort that leads to a peaceful rest, knowing that You are with me, sustaining and healing me. Amen.

Nighttime Blessing for Healing

Divine Physician, under the canopy of the night sky, I pray for Your healing blessings. Let Your life-giving energy flow through every cell, every nerve, every aspect of my being. May my rest be deep, my healing complete, and my faith in Your power absolute. Bless me with the gift of health, and let my gratitude be a testament to Your mercy. Amen.

Serene Prayer for Recovery

Merciful Restorer, as I seek repose in the stillness of this night, I ask for Your healing hand upon my life. Guide the hands of those who care for me, provide wisdom for the paths of recovery, and grant patience for the journey. In this serene hour, let Your comfort envelop me, as I place my trust in Your plan for a full recovery. Amen.

Those who are uncertain about what the “deep Covidian” forces are capable of, should watch this video. The lady being discussed, Brandy Vaughan, was a Merck employee who turned anti-vax in the years ahead of COVID. She died of “natural causes” right after COVID, right after Trump “lost”, and right before the vaccines were coming out under Briben. This is right before Obama’s puppet took office and mandated them. She was fighting hard against mandates.

She was being intimidated by somebody, who I personally don’t believe was Merck, but rather the “secret intelligence agency government” with its own “legalized lawlessness”. I personally believe they killed her. Watch.

I have a word of advice for people about dealing with those who will run intimidation campaigns – particularly ones where homes are entered, bugs are planted, security systems are violated, etc. This applies to all of them, from what I know.

The idea that they are afraid of exposure, and that you can deal with them as Brandy Vaughan tried to do, is a FALLACY. It won’t work. They don’t care. They give not one single shit. They know that the public has been conditioned to think the person being harassed, talking about the harassment, spying, and intimidation is just loopy, crazy, whatever. Exposure by talking to ANYBODY will not work.

The only “exposure” they fear is one of their own bodies, riddled with 9 mm hollowpoints, bleeding out on the floor of an intended victim’s house – the pictures splashed all over the internet BEFORE the cops are called. Similarly, the getaway driver, slumped over the steering wheel, or splayed out on the road, begging not to be killed, on video, streaming live to the world.

THAT is the exposure that scares them. They’re not supposed to exist. So they never arrive to be greeted with a gun barrel when they might – just might – fuck up.

They can’t risk direct confrontation with an armed citizen. They HATE the armed citizen – particularly one who knows their own rights, who isn’t stupid, who will shoot them dead at the slightest non-compliance.

Be armed. Be trained. Be serious. And when you have some asshole intimidator, dead to rights, in the sight of your weapon, and they try some trick, which may involve them pulling a weapon, just do the right thing. This isn’t a movie. You don’t need to add suspense. You don’t need to give these criminals one more chance. Deal with the situation legally, efficiently, and with continuous justice. Then make sure the world knows, so that all agencies have to do the right thing, and not the convenient thing.

This has been a public service announcement against evil.

After watching that video Wolf, what PDJT has endured for the last ten year’s is incredible. Do we really know how many attempts have been made on him and his families life?
In the Melania movie, Melania was very concerned about the inauguration (or was it the parade) and was relieved when it was moved inside.

Wolf Moon

Yes, she was concerned about the parade.

They have a rule – never get caught in a way that leads back provably to who they are. As long as you can keep the risk of that high enough – they keep their distance.

An attack inside the “alternative scenario” “indoor parade” would have backfired, so they didn’t try. They got scared by Butler, I think. IMO, they know the good guys came very close to figuring out who was behind Crooks and Routh.

[DS] Fear Is Real, Disinfo Campaign Designed To Buy Them More Time,To Be Blunt, Game Over – Ep. 3842

https://x22report.com/ds-fear-is-real-disinfo-campaign-designed-to-buy-them-more-timeto-be-blunt-game-over-ep-3842/

Canada is doing exactly what Trump wants them to do, he wants them to violate the USMCA and they are doing just that. Taxes are a form of control, they have used it for thousands of years. Construction jobs are hot right now. Trump begins first phase returning the buying power back to the people. The [DS] fear is real, the flood of their crimes is happening and they cannot stop it. They use disinfo campaigns to buy them more time, but this will not work. They will push riots and war in the end to distract from what they have done and how they lied, robbed killed the people of this country. To be blunt… Game Over.

I am putting up my article for tomorrow by transferring the text from LibreOffice. Unfortunately Word Piss has come up with a new set of tricks. Not only is all the text now in bold, it is sometimes dropping out spacing between words and even letters. Even worse it is not highlighting those bloopers as misspellings.

Also this is a LONG article. However I do not want to try and cut the length since it refutes the Mockingbird Media’s take on current events.

Just a warning, I am not going to be closely proofing this article.

Thank you!
So, AI music, voice cloning, and more, can now be done at the click of a mouse.
It’s just a matter of time before whole performances of things like operas, musical theater, orchestra concerts, recitals, and so on, can be AI-generated.
Some people might think this is a wonderful development.
Except — for things like this:
No AI generated “performance” can ever imitate the breath control of a superbly-trained clarinet player in the clarinet solo portion in the fourth part of “The Pines of Rome”, by Ottorino Respighi:
