Dear KMAG: 20240401 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And yes, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

We will always remember Wheatie,

Pray for Trump,

Yet have fun,

and HOLD ON when things get crazy!

We will follow the RULES of civility that Wheatie left for us:

Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And while we engage in vigorous free speech, we will remember Wheatie’s advice on civility, non-violence, and site unity:

“We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

“Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

If this site gets shut down, please remember various ways to get back in touch with the rest of the gang:

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week:

equiparate

adjective, verb

note: all uses are rare, obsolete, historical, or scholarly

  1. equivalent
  2. to treat or regard as the same
  3. to level
  4. to compare
  5. to perform equiparation
  6. to transfer attributes from one object or concept to another

Used in a sentence

Despite his very name, Wolf regarded it as a significant fallacy to equiparate human rights with animal rights.

MUSIC!

This was almost “stuff”, but as you can see, it’s MUSIC, too!

THE STUFF

Sorry – that weird rap video make me investigate these two movies that I haven’t seen. Now you have to see them, too!

Well, that was weird!

Let’s try something else.

Maybe there’s a third option. Dune 2?

Just sayin’!

And remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

2024·03·30 Joe Biden Didn’t Win Daily Thread

What is it that feeds our battle, yet starves our victory?

Speaker Johnson
Pinging you on January 6 Tapes

Just a friendly reminder Speaker Johnson. You’re doing some good things–or at least trying in the case of the budget–but this is the most important thing out there still hanging. One initial block released with the promise of more…and?

We have American patriots being held without bail and without trial, and the tapes almost certainly contain exculpatory evidence. (And if they don’t, and we’re all just yelling in an echo chamber over here, we need to know that too. And there’s only one way to know.)

Either we have a weaponized, corrupt government or we have a lot of internet charlatans. Let’s expose whatever it is. (I’m betting it’s the corrupt weaponized government, but if I am wrong, I’d like to see proof.)

A Political Statement

One of my stock jokes is to say, as I head off to the bathroom or washroom or restroom, “I’m going to go make a political statement.”

It certainly seems like urinating is a good way to make a statement about the YSM, and defecating works for politicians. Or the other way around is good too, though “#1” just never seems emphatic enough.

Maybe “#1” is just being polite, and “#2” is telling the fixtures what you really think.

Anyhow, I pretty much do plan to be polite to RINOs that electioneer or fundraise. I’ll tell them, Sorry, but I need to GO Pee…

Language Warning

In the next piece I had to discuss a particular topic. Unfortunately, I couldn’t discuss it without naming it. Therefore I apologize in advance for having to do so, and apologize to anyone offended by the sight of the name.

RINO McDaniel Is Toast

RINO McDaniel got a size ten ice kleat up her ass.

And then she got fired by whichever Yellow Stream Media outlet hired her. (I can’t remember which one, and they’re all brown and smelly anyway, so it doesn’t matter.)

There aren’t many opportunities to gloat these days, so take ’em where you get ’em.

But she was not the problem…or rather, she would not have been a problem were it not for others.

No, the real problem is the fact that a majority of the 168 top GOP people voted for her. And now that has happened five times so they cannot claim they didn’t know what she was.

In spite of the fact that under her “leadership” the party had deliberately sabotaged the will of its base, had deliberately refused to challenge blatant election fraud, had gone out of its way to ensure certain candidates do not get nominated, had diverted donor money to namby-pamby candidates who have all the electoral appeal of a puddle of dog vomit…and in general has done nothing whatsoever to help fix the problems that plague America.

However that last is to be expected; I cannot expect anyone who IS the problem to help FIX the problem.

RINO McDaniel would have been powerless without an entire party leadership of the same mind as her. They wanted this dismal performance; they want to ignore the party base.

Her being gone will likely solve nothing as someone just like her will eventually be elected by those same pustulous people.

According to Charlie Kirk, about 55 people voted against her, 10-12 wanted something different but were too chickenshit to do the right thing, and roughly 100 people voted for her enthusiastically, and even had the unmitigated gall to complain to Kirk about US. Fuck ’em. Rusty 12 gauge bore brushes would be too good for these arrogant pricks and cunts.

Every single one of those hundred is just as bad as she is. And no doubt those people in turn have people who supported them to be state party chairs and whateveritis they call the other two people from each state and territory who were voting.

It’s time to face up to the fact that the Republican party is effectively owned by the shit-eating RINOs. We’ve got more work to do, a lot more work, to make the GOP an instrument for the restoration of the United States of America. And that’s in addition to cleaning up our elections.

There’s no point in cleaning up elections just to elect ratfucking RINOs.

OK, hopefully now you will have some inkling of my true attitude towards RINOs. Sorry that words were inadequate to give you the full picture.

And Yes I Might Be Able To Do Something About It

I am an alternate at the congressional district level, as well as the state level, GOP assemblies. There’s a decent chance I will get “elevated” to delegate. At the state level, we get to pick at least one RNC delegate.

My problem is being able to detect who is a RINO. As far as I know the ballot for RNC chair was secret, so basically, any randomly chosen serving RNC person is 2/3rds likely to have voted for Rino McD. So I can vote against an incumbent and have a 2/3rds chance of pissing on a RINO.

The problem is the people running against the incumbents. They’re liable to condemn the incumbent as a RINO and claim that they themselves are not RINOs. The first half of this is probably true…the second, there’s no way of telling unless they have a reputation. I’ll definitely have my ears open before the actual vote.

Which brings me to…

Lauren Boebert

I live in Ken Buck’s district. Which means I live in the district Lauren Boebert moved to, to try to remain in Congress. Apparently having the closest congressional race of 2022 was a bit frightful, so she moved from the 3rd CD (largely Western Colorado) to the 4th CD (eastern Colorado). And I just got shifted from the 5th CD (basically centered on Colorado Springs/El Paso County but used to include a lot of adjoining rural counties) to the 4th CD.

So, assuming I get elevated, I get to help decide who will be on the primary ballot. Boebert has ten times as much money in the bank as any of the other umpteen candidates, and seems like an attractive choice (in more ways than one).

But.

But she seems to have gone weak kneed in regards to Kevin McCarthy, and she’s also got a lot of “baggage,” bad behavior that a Dem opponent could use against her. Or that could be used to blackmail her. Maybe that has already happened!

So I have to admit that although I am inclined to vote for her, I have some hesitation. On the other hand, I literally know nothing about any of the other candidates. I don’t even recognize their names. So any of them is a complete “is this politician a RINO” crapshoot.

I suppose I could look to see which of them are doctors of education!

The Real Fascist is His Fraudulency Joe Biden*

*Or whoever has his hand rammed up that meat puppet’s ass.

Brandon (which I will use as a term for whoever is the power behind the Porcelain Throne) has thrown down the gauntlet…but in a way where most of America will never see it. The networks didn’t carry his tirade. CNN air brushed it (or whatever you call editing the red background) for its five viewers (who aren’t trapped in airports).

Luckily for me I live in Colorado, and therefore, despite my best efforts, I probably didn’t vote for Donald Trump.

Of course, for this purpose who I actually did try to vote for will be essential, and they undoubtedly know.

Come and get us, asswipes!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h6ZZ28QtX4

Justice Must Be Done.

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.

Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

Small Government?

Many times conservatives (real and fake) speak of “small government” being the goal.

This sounds good, and mostly is good, but it misses the essential point. The important thing here isn’t the size, but rather the purpose, of government. We could have a cheap, small tyranny. After all our government spends most of its revenue on payments to individuals and foreign aid, neither of which is part of the tyrannical apparatus trying to keep us locked down and censored. What parts of the government would be necessary for a tyranny? It’d be a lot smaller than what we have now. We could shrink the government and nevertheless find it more tyrannical than it is today.

No, what we want is a limited government, limited not in size, but rather in scope. Limited, that is, in what it’s allowed to do. Under current circumstances, such a government would also be much smaller, but that’s a side effect. If we were in a World War II sort of war, an existential fight against nasty dictatorships on the brink of world conquest, that would be very expensive and would require a gargantuan government, but that would be what the government should be doing. That would be a large, but still limited government, since it’d be working to protect our rights.

World War II would have been the wrong time to squawk about “small government,” but it wasn’t (and never is) a bad time to demand limited government. Today would be a better time to ask for a small government–at least the job it should be doing is small today–but it misses the essential point; we want government to not do certain things. Many of those things we don’t want it doing are expensive but many of them are quite eminently doable by a smaller government than the one we have today. Small, but still exceeding proper limits.

So be careful what you ask for. You might get it and find you asked for the wrong thing.

Political Science In Summation

It’s really just a matter of people who can’t be happy unless they control others…versus those who want to be left alone. The oldest conflict within mankind. Government is necessary, but government attracts the assholes (a highly technical term for the control freaks).

A Few Things We Cannot Blame on His Fraudulency

I am pretty sure Joe Biden had nothing whatsoever to do with the 30 Years War that ran from 1618-1648 and probably killed about a third of the people then living in what is now Germany.

Nor did he cause the collapse of either Roman empire (Western, 476 CE, Eastern 1453 CE). Nor the ignominious failure of most of the Crusades. Nor the collapse of Bronze Age civilization around 1200 BCE (including the collapse of the Minoans and the blowup of Santorini).

However, my utter lack of ability to imagine how he could possibly be responsible for these things is not a valid argument against them, so I await correction if appropriate.

His Truth?

Again we saw an instance of “It might be true for Billy, but it’s not true for Bob” logic this week.

I hear this often, and it’s usually harmless. As when it’s describing differing circumstances, not different facts. “Housing is unaffordable” can be true for one person, but not for another who makes ten times as much.

But sometimes the speaker means it literally. Something like 2+2=4 is asserted to be true for Billy but not for Bob. (And when it’s literal, it’s usually Bob saying it.) And in that sense, it’s nonsense, dangerous nonsense. There is ONE reality, and it exists independent of our desires and our perceptions. It would go on existing if we weren’t here. We exist in it. It does not exist in our heads. It’s not a personal construct, and it isn’t a social construct. If there were no society, reality would continue to be what it is, it wouldn’t vanish…which it would have to do, if it were a social construct.

Now what can change from person to person is the perception of reality. We see that all the time. And people will, of course, act on those perceptions. They will vote for Trump (or try to) if their perception is close to mine, and vote against Trump (and certainly succeed at doing so) if their perception is distant from mine (and therefore, if I do say so, wrong). I have heard people say “perception is reality” and usually, that’s what they’re trying to say–your perception of reality is, as far as you know, an accurate representation of reality, or you’d change it.

But I really wish they’d say it differently. And sometimes, to get back to Billy and Bob, the person who says they have different truths is really saying they have different perceptions of reality–different worldviews. I can’t argue with the latter. But I sure wish they’d say it better. That way I’d know that someone who blabbers about two different truths is delusional and not worth my time, at least not until he passes kindergarten-level metaphysics on his umpteenth attempt.

Lawyer Appeasement Section

OK now for the fine print.

This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Poltical correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines,  here, with an addendum on 20191110.

We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.

And remember Wheatie’s Rules:

1. No food fights
2. No running with scissors.
3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
4. Zeroth rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government get your guns.
5. Rule one of gun safety: The gun is always loaded.
5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty.
6. Rule two of gun safety: Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
7. Rule three: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
8. Rule the fourth: Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

(Hmm a few extras seem to have crept in.)

(Paper) Spot Prices

Kitco “Ask” prices. Last week:

Gold $2,165.50
Silver $24.73
Platinum $903.00
Palladium $1,007.00
Rhodium $4,925.00

This week, 3PM Mountain Time, markets have closed for the weekend. In this case the close was on Thursday; the markets close for Good Friday.

Gold $2,234.00
Silver $25.04
Platinum $918.00
Palladium $1,038.00
Rhodium $5,150.00

As far as I know, that’s an all-time nominal high for gold, though I doubt that once you adjust for inflation it beats the 1979/80 price spike of $850. Gold jumped $38.80 on Thursday, but over the course of the whole week did almost twice that much.

Silver is still struggling to do something spectacular, and the PGMs are up almost in proportion to gold.

This is bad news on the whole; it means the dollar is in trouble, and ultimately we’re going to be struggling with inflation, possibly really bad inflation. Not a problem as long as your income keeps pace…but it won’t. Gold bugs of course consider this good news, but they are going to find a trashed dollar hits them too.

batrachivorous

adjective

  1. frog-eating
  2. bottom-feeding

Used in a sentence

A fish that eats frogs off the bottom of the pond, when the frogs dive into the water to escape predators on land, is batrachivorous, no matter how one defines the word.

Pronounced differently than I pronounce it

Who here has eaten frog legs? You’re batrachivorous! Of course, if you don’t want to eat bullfrogs, you can get drunk with them!

THE STUFF

I stumbled across something interesting…..

YouTube suggested a video that I watched, fully realizing that it was probably “fake entertainment” designed to influence me in some way. And it was. So watch at your own risk. It’s a seductively innocent story.

To me, this sci-fi short appears to be propaganda to influence people in an emotional way to warm up to AI and humanoid robotics. They are using non-creepy, lovable humans to depict what we know is creepy and hard-to-love AI and robots.

Which is not to say that I oppose these things, but it IS to say that I can recognize propaganda when I see it. Some important concepts are discussed here, but beware of the main payload, hidden underneath sympathetic COUGH COUGH COUGH real humans.

Just sayin’!

Meanwhile, how about some AI REALITY – specifically in science and math? If you tire of the math, skip to the end for the summation of the situation by mathematicians.

THE STUFF

First, some explanation…..

Because of major fixes in key aspects of my health, I am now able to spend enough time on upcoming posts that they don’t all have to be identical placeholders. I can’t count on being here to do a bang-up Monday daily every week, because between healthcare appointments, healthcare scheduling, critical exercise to keep me healthy, home duties, minor crises, and unexpected crap, I can’t go much further than placeholders, done in advance, but I can do a batch of them that are not identical, and that is now the plan. I’m going to create several months of placeholders while I have a moment of moderately good health, and make minor modifications to all of them.

Each one will have a new word of the week, a new music video, and a new “feature” of some kind (often including interesting clickbait) for “the stuff”. I can create these well ahead of time, without waiting for the news.

I have to strike while the iron is hot. I now understand that my health is not guaranteed to be this good for longer than whatever time God chooses, so I will put the time to good use.

I know that God wants me working on this site, and not other “stuff” that is trying to drag me away. The other “stuff” has a purpose, too, but apparently this is more important. So be it.

Some of the features are going to be math and science videos that I find interesting – like this one!

Don’t feel like you can’t argue with or criticize either the science, math or history in anything that I post. That’s exactly what you SHOULD do!!!

I will also keep the Wheatie Warrior digital game artwork picture for the featured image. People seem to prefer that to the AI images. It’s comforting to y’all.

GMOs & CHEESE, Oh My!

IMG_0634

Well here is a bit of VERY BAD NEWS that showed up on the daily thread.

IMG_0634
YOU ADDED WHAT TO MY CHEESE???

First I want to give a MAJOR H/T to Dr. Mercola, Ashley Armstrong of Robert Kennedy Jr’s Children’s Health Defense Organization and to The Burning Platform for bringing this to our attention. Dr Mercola has drawn attacks from the Cabal early on especially during the beginnings of Covid as has the Children’s Health Defense Organization.

Stolen from the Article:

90% of U.S. Cheese Contains GMO Made by Pfizer

Guest Post by Ashley Armstrong
Rennet is used as a clotting agent to curdle the milk into cheese, separating the liquid parts of milk from the solids. Pfizer makes a genetically modified rennet, but because of a labeling loophole, cheese containing Pfizer’s rennet does not have to be labeled as containing a genetically modified organism.

Story at a glance:

  • Traditionally, cheese was made with just four ingredients: milk, salt, starter culture and animal rennet.
  • Rennet is used as a clotting agent to curdle the milk into cheese, separating the liquid parts of milk from the solids. It’s an essential part of the cheese-making process.
  • Today, there are four types of rennet used in the cheese-making industry: animal rennet, vegetable rennet, microbial rennet and a genetically modified version called FPC (fermentation-produced chymosin), made by Pfizer.
  • Bioengineered FPC was granted Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS) status, which exempted Pfizer from the pre-approved requirements that apply to other new food additives. This is even though studies have detailed concerns about safety.
  • An estimated 90% of North American cheese is made with FPC rennet, and ingredient labels do not distinguish between bioengineered rennet and the original animal-based type so consumers have no way of knowing what they’re eating.

…Safety concerns of GM enzymes

Well, again, this technology is new. So there are no long-term studies evaluating the safety of eating a small amount of this genetically modified food additive every single day.
But there are two main concerns: 1) toxicity and 2) digestive issues since these rennet alternatives can serve as an allergen.

Toxicity concerns

Toxicity means that the enzyme solution contains biotoxins from the genetically modified host (mold or fungus) that is being cultured and fermented in the lab.
The producers of these enzymes claim the final FPC enzyme solution is highly purified, but some people react as though they still contain some of the allergens from the host microorganisms themselves.

In fact, traces of the genetically engineered bacteria have been found in enzymes. A few quotes from the literature regarding these toxicity concerns. I don’t know about you, but I have no desire to consume biotoxins from genetically modified organisms!
Genetically modified food enzymes are currently produced from GMOs. Safety concerns have been raised regarding potential contamination of food with bacterial toxins or mycotoxins, allergens, or uncharacterized extraneous substances as impurities.
“Because these enzymes are purified from microbial sources, toxic substances might be present in enzyme preparations/isolates. The toxic substances are basically bacterial toxins and mycotoxins, which might cause problems/risks related to the health of consumers.

“Safety legislation is also very much attentive regarding the allergenic properties of manufactured enzymes, as it is well known that enzymes are potent inhalative sensitizers.
“Apart from that, numerous uncharacterized extraneous substances/ impurities of microbial/biological origin may also be present in the enzyme preparation, which is also a matter of prime concern while evaluating the safety of commercial enzyme products.

“While food enzyme preparations are considered unlikely to cause any acute toxicity, genotoxicity, or repeat-dose oral toxicity, it is the fermentation product(s) of microorganisms from the manufacturing process that is/are of interest due to the potential presence of secondary metabolites that may induce toxicity when ingested (eg. aflatoxins, fumonisins and/or ochratoxins).”

So, some are concerned about continuous ingestion of these biotoxins over time, and the negative health consequences those would have over the course of years.
And unfortunately, there isn’t much regulation here. “Currently, the companies themselves are responsible for the quality control of their products.”
Gee, that’s not helpful!

Allergens and digestive issues

So as a result of a small amount of these toxins potentially showing up in the final cheese product (and slight structural changes in the final proteins), the cheese can now serve as an allergen and can cause an allergic reaction, or digestive and respiratory issues.

  • Stomach upset or discomfort.
  • Runny nose, increase in mucus production.

Consumers then may think they can’t digest cheese — but hey, maybe it is just the cheese that was made! It may not be the dairy itself, but the microorganism residues that elicit an allergic response, or irritate the gut lining.

I do not digest cheese that is made with this FPC (which again can be “vegetable rennet” or “microbial rennet” on labels). I get stomach upset and a disruption of my normal bowel movements.
So something isn’t going right there! I can only digest cheese made with animal rennet, so I am very picky with what cheese I consume day to day!
GMO cheese may compromise your gut health
One of the biggest issues here is the potential disruption of the gut microbiome.
“Lastly, the case study highlights the issues related to the dissemination of [antimicrobial resistance] genes due to their potential acquisition by the human commensal flora, via direct food consumption and by environmental bacteria through contact with soil and water surfaces or food waste. This is especially the case as a living GMM [genetically modified micro-organism] was found in a FE [enzyme] preparation.”
In addition, allergic responses from ingesting the biotoxin residues or modified protein structures.

👉“A known safety risk linked to industrial enzyme use is respiratory allergy and for most proteases, there is also some potential for skin and eye irritation … Enzymes present a risk of a respiratory allergy (e.g. Aspergillus-derived enzymes in bakers’ asthma) and it is well described in the scientific literature …

“Genetic modification of enzymes may also change their allergenic properties, posing new potential health risks. For instance, type I sensitization was found in a study of 813 exposed industrial workers using genetically modified enzymes.”

So, it is documented in the literature, I experience it personally, and have heard from multiple other people — some people have digestive issues digesting the microbial and vegetable rennets.

But do just fine with cheese made traditionally with animal rennet. There are consequences when we try to outsmart nature!

Good post!

OK, so which cheeses, American and foreign, are not GMO FPC rennet? Seems like the discussion needs to take another step or two.

I found links below to help with the types. But nothing so far on the brands that are good to use.

Sheep Cheese is supposed to be especially good for you. That is why the USDA/FDA wiping out Linda Faillace’s MILKING SHEEP herd was so horrible.

Here are some places available mail order however we will have to vet just what type of Rennet they use.:

Dear KMAG: 20240304 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week:

littoral

adjective

  1. of, like or pertaining to the shore of a body of water
  2. of or on a shore, especially a seashore
  3. inhabiting the seashore, esp. the zone between high-water and low-water mark

Used in a sentence

For lakes, the littoral zone is the nearshore habitat where photosynthetically active radiation penetrates to the lake bottom in sufficient quantities to support photosynthesis.

See Littoral zone on Wikipedia.

MUSIC!

Needed to get outside just a bit on this stuff!

And speaking of stuff…..

THE STUFF

Gabby Does Wheatie Warrior. Sorta.

I had to start a fresh chat with Gabby to make any headway on trying to get a watercolor of the locally famous “Wheatie Warrior” picture, shown above.

Note the image name, upon which I believe Gabby relies heavily. I provided the file URL to Gabby, and I am positive that Gabby is reading the file and analyzing it.

FILE: https://www.theqtree.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/fantasy_walking_on_field_020457_.jpg

Well, here is Gabby’s return image.

It’s a great image – not as creepy as many prior Gabby images, and even less creepy in watercolor – but it lacks so many key aspects from the “Wheatie Warrior” image. OTOH, the original Wheatie Warrior image is rather far from reality. Does Gabby find the original “Final Fantasy” image creepy? Or at least “undesirable”? Is Gabby editing? Is Gabby changing the basic picture to “his/her/its” view of things? What are the biases of Gabby?

Gabby definitely biases to the center of the picture. Not much sense of lower symmetry showing balance. It’s easy to think that Gabby’s not that bright.

I tried all sorts of input variations and specificity to change the nature of the result toward more like the input image – no dice.

Hey! I got a tree – and lost the rest.

I just gave up. But only for now! *WINK*

Just sayin’!

And in that regard…..

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

And as always….

phyllogenous

adjective

living or growing on leaves

Used in a sentence

The phyllogenous forms seem to be of a different character, but we are not concerned with them here.

MUSIC!

Not sure if I’ve used this one before, but it’s enjoyable.

THE STUFF

More on the Gab AI

I asked Gabby to do a self-portait in the outdoors, using the Watercolor interface. This is the first time Gabby chose a man – and a white man at that. Gabby consistently chose a dark black African woman in the past.

I have been studying the Watercolor engine to test its capabilities, biases, strengths and weaknesses. I will explore the results in upcoming posts.

One thing I have noticed is that Gab’s new interface tends to make each “conversation” with an engine tend to “fall into a rut”, which can be good or bad, depending on your needs. It’s good, in that it remembers what you just asked it to do. It’s bad, in that if you want bigger changes, you probably need to start a new chat. But in general, having options both ways is nice.

This tree, the prior two, and the next one were all done with the same conversation. They were all very similar, even with radically different instructions, some of which were trying to get the engine to do a “Wheatie Warrior” watercolor. I had to start completely new chats to make even some progress that way.

AI can be stubborn. Kinda like people.

Just sayin’!

And remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

THE STUFF

Moar Updatez

Things are going well. Health is on the upswing and things are getting done.

I’m still playing with the Gab AI images – I will use the output to add some variety to the next three months while I’m away for long periods of time.

The image AI “Gabby” is back up. Here’s an example of what it can do. This was in “Steampunk” mode.

Not sure how it decided to add a moon. I just asked for a steampunk wolf with a tophat.

I like these older watches from the previous incarnation of Gabby. More about Gabby next time.

Medical things are going well. I’m definitely regaining control of my health, and am feeling good. I’m now almost well enough for the extensive travel, physical labor, and other things that will keep me busy during the next 4-6 months.

And if we get some TRUMP sanity back into the White House, a trip to the inauguration is not out of the question!

Just sayin’!

So thank you for your assistance in this matter. Your prayers and well-wishes are working.

And remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week Year:

espace réservé

noun

  1. French for placeholder
  2. French for reserved area
  3. French for restricted area
  4. Wolf’s preparation for a year of taking care of things

As I will explain below, I’m going to need placeholders for many weeks this year. The first placeholder post (February 5, 2024) will be copied to the other weeks, and modified whenever time allows.

The whole “placeholder” endeavor just sounds so much less offensive in French!

MUSIC!

Relaxing hymns on a harp. Ahhhhhhh.

THE STUFF

An Update…..

So far, things are going better than expected. I appreciate your prayers and support. I have made it past several hurdles, but also had a close call, from which much was learned. I’m actually in a better and safer place now, because of it.

Because I have sworn off a variety of responsibilities, including (here) “big fresh Monday dailies”, I have been able to spend hours every day in medical self-education, to learn what was needed to make significant headway against one of my medical issues. Many other issues are impacted by this one, so it was critical. The strategy paid off, and I have begun to move one huge rock out of my path.

My issues appear to be at the edge of science, which is both fascinating and a bit scary. We live in a very interesting time, when medicine is both “under construction” and obviously falling apart. I am trying to stay ahead of the collapse. So far, the magic of surfing is working.

I am trying to stay connected to all my major activities (art worlds, local politics, this site, neighbors, friends, exercise, home upkeep, financial stewardship & taxes, and most of all supporting my wife in her activities), but I’ve had to ditch major responsibilities in many of them.

Health comes first now.

I was very interested by what I learned from TradeBait’s post, and all your comments there. It’s nice to see things working, and I’m learning a lot.

I got onto Gab AI and made the image on the cover, using their “Watercolor” Image AI. I am trying to test their evolving AI capabilities. Gotta keep as many “tiny irons” in the fire as possible. I am planning to GET BETTER, and I don’t want to lose my place in things.

We’ll see how things go this week. As I said, your prayers are appreciated, and they’re working! THANK YOU!!!

Just sayin’!

And remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

And as always….
