For my back pain and Rheumatoid Arthur I take numerous meds and on occasion have nightly reflux.
I changed my diet a number of years ago thanks to my personal trainer son. I stopped all sugar, breads, and pasta and went full bore protein; eggs, meat, salads, spinach, asparagus, kale, beets. Cholesterol went way down and weight from 185lbs (since college) to now 166 9verified at doc visit today). Before my change, I had reflux almost every night and took prilosec (the purple pill) daily.
I haven’t taken prilosec for years and now I do have pasta occasionally. I still get reflux but rarely, and I can tell at about 10 PM if I on the road to reflux; so I eat an apple and that works 95% of the time. My reflux now generally comes from food that had garlic…that stuff tears me up.
BTW – in yesterday’s thread you replied to my back pain with a statement to the effect it will last 7 years.

I didn’t actually post any article links I don’t believe. There was a discussion a while back about Mormon epistemology and I believe I touched on Mormon eschatology a bit as well and the influence on the Mormon imagination. Orson Scott Card is a good example of this – he is known for his Science Fiction (which Mormonism is a fertile ground for) but his earlier fiction was based on Mormon eschatology. Essentially what was going to happen is that there were going to be enormous factional wars between everyone in the world until finally the Mormons in Utah would be the last ones standing and would inherit the earth.
Overlay this eschatology with the ideology of globalism and you have a potent mixture. A true believer working for their vision of the eschaton by pursuing a worldwide program of factional destruction, up to and including world war and mushroom clouds. The risk is further amplified by the Mormon epistemology that elevates feelings and senses explicitly against reason and objective reality. Faced with a dilemma they will act according to their fantasy and not according to facts.

We are supposed to follow along the proscribed conflict of Dem vs Rep not seeing that the same people control both sides in the end. The TEA Party movement and candidates were a danger to the system which is why they were all neutralized in a variety of ways.
Donald Trump disrupted that and hijacked the Republican Party. In two years, he’s managed to keep Republican campaign promises for them, and plain and simply unleashed the American economic machine.
The phantom force doesn’t like that and moved pieces into place (Romney) to work to get it stopped.
