That would certainly be my guess. This was all a publicity stunt for their “anti-lynching law” that got bungled (not the law, unfortunately — my understanding is that it passed and was signed — and will, no doubt, be causing mischief for decades to come). They leaned on the brothers to “run it up the chain” and landed on Smollett. Then they leaned on Smollett to “run it up the chain” and — “Holy C**p!!!! It’s two sitting Democrat Senators!!!!!!!”
So someone got to jump on the grenade to contain the damage. After all, if they’d have leaned on the Senators, maybe they’d find the whole party is corrupt.
Can someone walk me through possible scenarios, please. Smollett ratted on someone, meaning the person(s) who orchestrated the fake hate crime? In that case, will that person(s) be prosecuted? And if they are, then won’t it come out that the whole thing was a hoax and Smollett was part of it?

Thanks. If it is revealed that he mailed the letter to himself, then I hope that new charges against him would shine the light on whoever was behind the dropping of the charges today. Either they really are going to get away with this, or they’re brazen (or desperate) to think they could cover it all up.

I do not think we have seen the last of this case.
I would love for texts to reveal who all was behind the hoax, to show definitively that Smollett himself was part of the planning, and to show who was involved in today’s coverup. It needs to all come out, sooner rather than later because the public forgets and moves on, and there will be new scandals.
It occurs to me the FBI was investigating Smollett’s sending the fake threat letters to himself BEFORE he pulled the MAGA Hat attack hoax. If they already had a warrant on Smollett they may have gotten a whole heck of a lot of info on the planning of the hoax.
I certainly hope that is the case.

The man on the right in that picture is Paul Karason who turned blue because he ingested large quantities of colloidal silver (he did this purposefully to treat his arthritis). No, I just got back in to his account. I was reading some more of his tweets from later in the day and he definitely has his mojo back. Probably just a moment of frustration. We all have them.

The problem with James’ prediction is that once the left wins and we become the authoritative socialist state that they want, the history books get rewritten. Not only will any transgressions by Obama and his minions be erased, but his status will be elevated even further, if that can be imagined.
Review history. There are many many examples of how ruthless criminals become godlike heroes that are worshipped as a result of these types of governments. Think Mao, Kim, Che, Stalin …

Wasn’t that part of the sick beauty of abusing our intelligence mechanisms? If successful, the cabal gets to keep power and our defensive mechanisms will have been used to aid in our destruction. If unsuccessful, we must drop our guard: we are forced to distrust people we have entrusted with massive power over our lives and then to weed out traitors while our need for those who are loyal (and hence their workload) goes up sharply, while also suspending use of and reconsidering mechanisms we have erected to protect ourselves.

Your input makes a great point, Wheatie. It’s because of previous cover-ups of criminality by politicians – that Potus44, DOJ, and FBI et al were able to get as far as they did with POTUS 45. If it had been any other man than DJT, they likely would have succeeded in taking him down and out.
The Clintons were criminals before they ever got in the WH. The Clinton Era gave rise to a shift Leftward in the morality of this country, and that Era gave rise to the power of the Left over Bush 2’s administration. Kim Foxx dismissed the findings of a Grand Jury…which is pretty outrageous.
She had to have been given ‘orders’ from the very top, to do such a thing.

3 am musings again while I couldn’t sleep. I’m going to float this out there. I have no proof, zero, but I have an idea of what could be behind all the Boeing issues. Chemtrails. Bear with me because of all the conspiracy world topics, this is the one that has not much information to go on.
There are reports on both coasts that chemtrails continue, but out here in flyover country, I haven’t seen any for about a year. Various anonymous reports claim that chemtrails are part of an Air Force program that is so secret, no information at all is available online. One other report I saw somewhere along the line claimed that the installation of the equipment happened on the assembly line at Boeing. I have no idea what is true and what is not, but the shift in chemtrail activity, at least here, seemed to happen before the Boeing planes had issues.
Could just be a coincidence. Still, the data points are interesting.

among it’s duties is the production of melatonin for our bodies and other things that are “suspected”… if you don’t think this gland is being attacked – i happen to know 4 teen/early 20’s girls and 2 boys who have all been on “depression” mediacation for a number of years and they are all now being also told to supplement with melatonin and on 3 of them it’s not even working no matter how much they take. they can only sit in bed and stare at their phones more and more because they cannot sleep anymore. some have vivid dreams and do not want to sleep or are afraid. 1 is absolutely scared of the dark at the age of 20. this might be just a small sample, but these are kids of people I KNOW. this is not made up.

and if you have never looked up and seen 6 to 8 planes crisscrossing in your field of vision then you are missing the action that’s right in front of you.

However, the double standard in our “justice” judicial system, see Smollette situation, is highly frustrating. Our family is living through the fallout from #metoo. “All women and children must be believed”, “children never lie”, “ex-wives are not manipulative”, “we have to protect the children” is the mantra of the persecution. All the while, in the name of evidentiary procedure and relevance, exculpatory evidence is quashed. Reference to our son’s political stance and activity was referenced and jury “researched” him online against judge’s order. The judge lamented the ” current political climate ” as his hopes of becoming a Federal judge were dead. The court staff openly criticized current political situation, Rachel Madcow and View fans. Our son is an ardent Trump supporter from the escalator ride. Long story short, he is serving 6 years in prison and 15 years probation for something he did not commit. So, until the American judicial system is overhauled, rule of law restored, and innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt is restored. I reserve my cartwheels!

It’s kind of like this scenario, which actually happened to me.
I was the treasurer of a Scout troop years ago. The troop split, all the boys went to the new troop with half of the leadership, and so did I, along with the troop checkbook. IT was the boys money, not the adults.
The losing “leaders,” who for years had been using the troops money as a vacation slush fund, accused ME of stealing the money!
Of course, I protested far and wide, declaimed my innocence to all who would listen, and told the truth about the losers to anyone who would listen. They were wrong, and I could prove it.
Was I “obstructing justice” by defending myself in any and every way possible? I was innocent of any wrong-doing, but the losers sure thought I was obstructing THEIR justice. But there was no crime, so what justice was I getting in the way of? Tainting the “jury,” which would be other scout leadership? But again, there was no crime, so how could I obstruct/prevent justice?
This is the same to me. President Trump did NOTHING wrong. So, no matter what he did to prevent others from declaring him “guilty,” there was nothing for him to be guilty of. NOTHING TO OBSTRUCT.

The feed from Frenchman Valley Co-op of Imperial was delivered to Farmers Pride of Battle Creek.

Clare Bronfman, an heiress to the Seagram liquor fortune, fainted Wednesday in federal court in New York City after a judge asked if she was being secretly represented by embattled celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti in a case where she is charged with money laundering and identity theft involving the alleged sex-cult NXIVM.
After Bronfman’s fainting spell, it was revealed in open court that Avenatti had, in fact, last week met with federal prosecutors in Brooklyn about her case, according to a knowledgeable source. The details of that meeting were not disclosed.
With him at that sitdown was a lawyer known to be representing Bronfman, fellow celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos, who has been identified as an alleged co-conspirator of Avenatti’s in a purported scheme to extort sneaker giant Nike, a prosecutor told the judge in the case. Geragos has not been criminally charged with Avenatti.
Bronfman’s apparent collapse in U.S. District Court in Brooklyn came two days after Avenatti was accused by federal prosecutors in Manhattan and Los Angeles of trying to extort Nike for up to $25 million, defrauding a client out of a legal settlement, and defrauding a bank by offering the lender bogus income tax returns.

Sen. Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign has been hit with a complaint to the Federal Election Commission and has been accused of breaking a major federal law.
According to the Washington Free Beacon, the complaint filed by the Coolidge Reagan Foundation alleges that the Sanders presidential campaign is violating federal election law by employing three foreign nationals in advisory campaign positions.
The complaint specifically names three individuals who are currently working for Sanders campaign, including Maria Belén Sisa, an illegal immigrant from Argentina who is in the United States under the protections of the Obama-era Deferred Actions for Childhood Arrivals program.
Sisa serves as the deputy national press secretary for Bernie’s 2020 campaign and also collected a salary from Sanders failed 2016 campaign.
The complaint argues that Sisa and two others working for Sanders campaign is a “direct and serious violations” of federal election law.
