Thanks yes. A&H has a product, “Simply Saline Nasal Mist” that has a little baking soda in it. NutriBiotic has the GSE nasal spray. I rotate those with a silver hydrosol from Sovereign Silver. There are other items in my kit as well. Not sure what’s in the air outside right now, but am running air filters in the house. Everytime I work outside things get clogged up again. I’m not prone to allergies, so I’m thinking “air pollution” is a factor.

If I may please disagree with the moderator? I find it ironic that this thread is titled “end of brainwashing”. It seems to me that this is the beginning of brainwashing if FG&C is allowed to hound anyone who posts or shares anything that may be disparaging to Gen. Flynn. Wouldn’t this be the “thought police” in action? Sometimes, even though we may disagree with a post we are sharing but feel it has some value to others “because we need to know what we are up against” would stifle people from trying to share the things they feel could be important.

This is not the first time For God and Country has made such a high intensity post.
Ironically, I do not read the latest one as a threat of violence, just the usual pomposity and condescension.
FG&C made a completely over the top, wildly disproportionate and nasty reply to one of my posts when he first got here. No one likes to be spoken to like that, but it happens, especially behind anonymity, and it is far from the worst thing to happen in life.
What really disturbed me about how he responded was the “flashback” aspect of it. His approach sounded exactly like the assholes OT who made CTH a complete mess with their nastiness and witless remarks. (Many of which I always suspected were also highly influenced by rum or something like rum).
I used my free speech OT to point out that the witless nastiness, in addition to being dreary and ineffective, simply made the site an unpleasant place to be. I left cold turkey before the bannings, and simply out of disgust. It was not easy to leave, but it was my totally unspoken and unknown protest against incessant, repetitious, pointless, dreary nastiness which had overwhelmed the site like an open sewer pit.
Some while later FG&C at this site suggested the use of anal rape as an apt punishment for some group of people (leftists? media? I forget) and posted a picture to illustrate. It was totally intended as a South Park/Family Guy “joke” IMO, maybe an Andrew Dice Clay type of thing, the difference being that unlike those things it was genuinely not funny or relevant.
BTW, Qaddafi was a horrible and torturing tyrant, and yet I do not believe as a human being he should have been subjected to his punishment. I won’t go into the reasons.
Still later FG&C returned to anal rape in responding to Sadie Slays in what I thought was a wildly disproportionate and over the top reply to a post she made. FG&C again posted a gruesome picture to illustrate the anal rape angle. Again, this might have been a “joke”.
And again, it was really not South Park, Family Guy, Andrew Dice Clay “funny” with a deep sense of irony behind it specific to the circumstances, it was just a free association expression of hostility connected to an irrelevant (but specific) sadistic imagery, and the sort of witless nastiness which made OT a mess.
Sadie Slays is the last person who needs anybody to defend her or speak on her behalf, and her response was wonderful.
But FG&C’s response to Sadie Slays also bothered me because violence is used as an excuse by TPTB to shut down free speech sites. Try telling TPTB that you were joking. Yes, we have fee speech, but the essence of “conservatism” is the exercise of prudence. Being prudent doesn’t mean we like the factors which go into its exercise. Prudence almost always means we are responding to something we do not like.
Everyone understands the free speech self-censorship paradox, but personally I prefer to keep QTH.
I completely understand pR’s response. I hope she comes back. She has been a a valuable comrade in this fight.
I too managed somehow to trigger one of FG&C’s overwrought replies, and for me it brings up a larger issue.
Another element of how we need to change our society in order to MAGA is the need to take back the language. We need to revive the notion that words have meaning, that some words are indeed fighting words, and that we should be measured in our language in the interest of civility.
I agree with you. They will use bullshit over-the-top threats to cause problems for sites they don’t like.
Since you have “broken the ice,” so to speak, I will relate the fact that FG&C also hurt me deeply, altho I do realize it may have been from a position of ignorance. He said something cutting to me about “wouldn’t I try to stop someone from committing suicide,” after my own daughter committed suicide! Perhaps he didn’t know but I find it hard to believe since I “talk” about it frequently (I have to or go crazy).
It took me some time to thaw/heal enough even to like one of his posts.

I don’t believe in threatening people who disagree with me. I will argue my points vociferously, but I won’t just all-out attack someone who brings up a point I disagree with. I think that is asinine behavior. Furthermore, almost no one would have the balls to speak that way to someone in person. They will only do it from the safety of a screen.

They are Mediterranean “monsoon-type” winds blowing seasonally in various parts of southern Europe. They are connected to the annual thermal contraction and expansion of the Saharan atmosphere. North African Saharan dust is now routinely found coating glaciers in Switzerland and even Sweden.

A good question. Gold is tracked all over the world, such that most of it is in vaults and rarely leaves because ownership changes are as simple as moving the gold from one room to another inside the vault. It is very difficult to actually steal physical gold without a trace.
It’s been very quiet on the subject of the missing Libyan gold (note – it is NOT Qadaffi’s gold). I suspect that whomever is responsible for finding it is waiting for 6 tons (maybe 60 tons – I don’t remember which) to surface in a less-than-routine transaction.
In the precious metals world, gold trumps politics. Deadly enemies will collaborate when the issue is maintaining the integrity of the gold inventory.
Putin bought hundreds of tons of gold to stabilize the ruble and they’ve been after him ever since.
