20200320: Dear CoronaVirus/ COVID-19/ China Virus/ WuFlu, Daily Thread

For the time being, given our national emergency, we are switching to DAILY COVID-19 threads instead of weekly threads. Your comments and updates are most welcome. PLEASE continue to include your valuable information, hard source links, and local observations on these COVID Daily Threads. Additionally, within these Daily Threads, we will try to include links to government and official pressers, so those who no longer have cable can remain informed.

We’ll get through this crisis, together. As a group, there is probably no one better prepared than we are.

For our newcomers: The Q Tree community has been diligent in covering the threat of Coronavirus, COVID19, Wuhan FLU. We started accumulating information about this virus in mid-late January, in what became almost weekly threads. We’ve been weeks, if not months, ahead of MSM outlets to vet rumors and other medical papers, etc.

Primary Update Links:

In our past weekly threads, we assembled information on the following:

  • Primary update links. The dashboard from Johns Hopkins which counts “official” cases all over the world, the CDC, and WHO, and includes the links for our past threads.
  • Hard Data Medical Information- Explanation about testing, reliance on China for drugs, analysis of NE Journal of Medicine results and other published papers.
  • Vaccine and theraputics (new/old drugs to alleviate symptoms) news and updates
  • Trump Administration response (the timeline and links to various agencies)
  • China Responses, timelines, research, attempt to cover actions, or secrecy in results discovered.
  • An aggregate of info/responses from other countries, listed by country.
  • Economic impact from around the world. A change in economic activity will indicate a “return to normal”.
  • Speculation/debunking on how the virus started
  • Media Bias, political response, and debunking section, like the article from AP News, overt bias from Politico, inflammatory headlines, etc.
  • Other medical info to boost immune system, herbal remedies, ways to keep your house clean and NOT spread the virus to others. Excellent information to incorporate into daily lifestyle.
  • Hard links for OTHER valuable sources/blogs and a brief sentence or two about what they provide
  • Other news items

Our weekly updates. timelines, collection of valuable information, can be found here:

Please try to keep your sense of humor during this National Emergency, and remember, patience is a virtue.

Love to all!

They did worse than LIE. The CRIMINAL CCP covered up an ATTACK using their own people.
The CCP are basically a cabal of Argentine generals with a bloody virus.

duchess01

Argentine Generals? I think they just about cooked their own goose – the whole world was watching as they perpetrated this fraud on every nation – it will be difficult for them to do business anywhere in the world – they will not be trusted.
Trump wanted to convince US companies to move elsewhere – or come home – he now rests his case!

Wolf Moon

Oh, I do not even trust ANY ChiCom or DS asset at this point. I skated past a lot of their BS in the past, but this stuff reminds me. Scar on the inside.
Get ’em out.

duchess01

You are not alone in that respect – not only have they stolen our technology, intellectual property, manufacturing, and auto parts businesses – stupid politicians sold us out to enrich them to the point where they are the new world power –
Trump has known this for many years – he wants to not only recoup what they have stolen – but also jail those who have enabled them to do so – we need to deport all ChiCom students, reporters, and shut down organizations that sympathize with the mainland – head ’em up and move ’em out!

Gail Combs

THAT includes our traitorous Universities!
I got in the mail an Alumni Oral History postcard asking me to share my story to ‘ensure the preservation of the rich history’ of my university. Well they partner with a CHINESE UNIVERSITY. So I called and gave them an earful. The lady said well I am just the publisher. I replied, you wanted my story? Well there you have it. I am ASHAMED to be associated with a treasonous university that aligns with Communist China. PRINT THAT!

duchess01

Whoa, Gail! Poor lady! You were definitely talking to the wrong person – she was just the data clerk – get that President on the line – and give him what for!!!
Besides, they don’t really care – the only reason they contact Alumni is to solicit funds – I put their wasteful paper platitudes in the circular file.

michaelh

FOIA their alumni list and send them all letters letting them know! 🙂

Wolf Moon

I agree – but I just say TRUST THE PLAN on who to deport and who is OK. They will know who can be trusted and who can’t, and they will understand WHEN to take action. It is a tough problem – I know because I’ve given it a lot of thought since I was a child, exposed to so many stories of life under Hitler, and living in a still-post-war environment, where suspicions still lingered.
The idiot ChiCom press is pushing a CCP-protecting meme (“Oh, NOES, if we say ‘China Virus’, all Asian Americans will DIE of racism!”), but there is some truth at the bottom that our wicked CHICOM-SYMP FAKE NEWS will weaponize. We will see CCP hoaxes, too – self-attacks by CCP assets – GET READY FOR IT.
German Americans and Japanese Americans went through this crap back in WWII. If one is not a lightweight, it builds character. There are many LOYAL AMERICAN Chinese, both immigrants and descendants, but there are plenty of CCP supporters, assets, and actual spies in the mix. They use the innocents for cover.
THEY NEED TO BE GONE. Wray has been working on it BIG-TIME. THOUSANDS of active cases.

duchess01

Well – that explains many conundrums – most do not have your experience to know the difference – however – I trust there are less than 10 who do know – we have a very powerful group who have been waiting many years to execute THE PLAN and bring its rewards to fruition.
We can say the same about those who call themselves Americans – we are so attached to their global adversaries who paid them handsomely to betray their country – so yes – we are talking about the ‘party’ faithful (CCP) who think nothing of killing innocents to remain in power – isn’t that what communists do?
I am thrilled to hear Wray has been working on it – after all – Q said – Trust Wray – and many attacked him – claiming he was doing nothing – much the same as they attacked Sessions claiming he was doing nothing.
Dave of X22 Report thinks something is coming next week – we all could be quarantined for protection – and ease of operation. Please listen to what he says – it makes sense.
Thanks for your analysis. I respect your perspective.

MAGA Mom

Washington (state) stats as of yesterday.
Wish we knew the rate of complications/hospitalizations of each age group as well.
Ages 0-39 yrs: 0 deaths
Confirmed Cases / Deaths by Age
Age Group Percent of Cases Percent of Deaths
<19 2% 0%
20-29 8% 0%
30-39 13% 0%
40-49 14% 3%
50-59 16% 5%
60-69 16% 8%
70-79 15% 26%
80+ 16% 59%
interesting that Females in are having a higher mortality rate than men. Because more of the older group are females? Females are 51% of the cases but 59% of the deaths. I am guess because the females are overrepresented in the 80+ category.

This is an amazing point about how POLITICS can affect science, and TRUST ME – the ChiComs KNEW THIS when they created the GLOBAL WARMING SCAM.

Yes, Universities Discriminate Against Conservatives
“Why are there so few conservative professors in American higher education? …There is rampant discrimination in higher education, and it’s not against minorities — indeed, universities often violate state and federal law and their own policies…It’s against conservatives.”

…in my experience, no search committee has ever been instructed to increase political or ideological diversity. On the contrary, I have been involved in searches in which the chairman of the selection committee stated that no libertarian candidates would be considered. Or the description of the position was changed when the best résumés appeared to be coming from applicants with right-of-center viewpoints. Or in which candidates were dismissed because of their association with conservative or libertarian institutions.

“The result is an academic world that is staggeringly one-sided:”

According to data compiled by the Higher Education Research Institute, only 12% of university faculty identify as politically right of center, and these are mainly professors in schools of engineering and other professional schools. Only 5% of professors in the humanities and social-science departments so identify.
A comprehensive study by James Lindgren of Northwestern University Law School shows that in a country fairly evenly divided between Democrats and Republicans, only 13% of law professors identify as Republican. And a recent study by Jonathan Haidt of New York University showed that 96% of social psychologists identify as left of center, 3.7% as centrist/moderate and only 0.03% as right of center.

“One can learn a lot about an institution by examining where it is willing to test the limits. American universities test the legal limits to admit ever-more liberal minorities while it tests (and exceeds) the legal limits in its quest to exclude conservatives….”

Oh yes, thank you ever so much Mr. Gates. Where would we be without your prescient wisdom in this, our most desperate hour?

duchess01

No wonder he left Microsoft and Hathaway – he wanted to concentrate on world population control and killer vaccines – what a guy!!!

Gail Combs

I vote we use Bill Gates and his wife and the people at Microsop, Gargoyle, Twatter and Farcebook as human test subjects for the Chinese Commie Virus Vaccine!

duchess01

Nah – that won’t work – they will remove the pathogens and claim they are safe – I vote for the death penalty for killing and mutilating African children with their vaccines – and all others who have been vaccine damaged.

“Our doctors and nurses are on the front lines of this fight, treating patients and protecting public health from a little-known virus at great personal risk.
Our truckers are clocking endless hours on the road—with many restaurants and rest stops closed—to keep supplies on the shelf.
Everyday heroes are delivering meals to the elderly, keeping small businesses afloat & coming together as Americans to help each other through a time of hardship.
Thank you for your sacrifices. You make America great—and you will make America stronger than ever before.”

Reading this article at OT & SD is using info I find no where else:
“As Dr. Birx noted: the current negative test rate for coronavirus among those showing symptoms who are tested is 98 to 99 percent. That means of all the people taking coronavirus tests, 98/99 out of 100 are symptomatic (they are sick) but they are not infected with coronavirus. They are normal flu cases…. According to Dr. Birx and the test results 99 percent of those mitigation efforts are not engaging with coronavirus. They are dealing with regular flu (perhaps a strong flu)… What is stressing the system is a coronavirus mitigation effort with a rate of 99 percent testing negative.”
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/03/17/dr-faucis-mysterious-math-the-quantifying-today-reflects-where-we-were-a-week-ago-today-cannot-be-quantified-until-next-week/
I can not figure out where he is getting the 98-99% tests are negative. That is not what I find anywhere else. Everywhere I look I see a much higher rate of positive tests.
TN State Public Health Laboratory: 613 tests, 563 negative, 50 positive
(https://www.tn.gov/health/cedep/ncov.html)
FL: tested, 3,416, Negative 1,870, pending 1,026, positive 520
(https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/96dd742462124fa0b38ddedb9b25e429)
GA: tested 2,386, Positive 420
(https://dph.georgia.gov/covid-19-daily-status-report)
Washington: 19,336 negative tests/93% of tests & 1,376 Positive/7%
This is the state that seems to be doing the most widespread testing and they have ht highest rate of negatives. Most states seem to have been mostly testing those who really showed symptoms.
I can not find testing rates for NY or CA testing rates or total testing numbers or number of negatives.
Some of the negatives are surely for testing the some of the same people repeatedly as there are false negatives.
Even the # of tests on the CDC web site do not add up to a 99% negative rate
(https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/testing-in-us.html)
I don’t get it….where is this talking point coming from?
How many of the negatives are “false” negatives for a patient that later tests positive?
What is the average # of tests per patient?
How many of the negative tests are tests that are taken to determine a patient has recovered and is now “clear”?

GA/FL

MM – As I watched the daily task force briefings – in the earlier ones, they said 98% and more recently, the number went down to around 90%.

MAGA Mom

I have been watching them too but must have missed that (usually double tasking while listening).
Still have the questions about the testing – multiple tests per patient that get early false negatives and to clear those with previous illness & positive tests? More data about tests needed before judgement.
Also, widespread testing was what the press and “experts” are saying helped SK flatten their curve, testing widely to catch all positives as early as possible which means testing everyone the infected came in contact with regardless of symptoms.
I just don’t get the criticism and think more data is needed on who is being tested and how many of the negatives are tested again or to clear patients or…???

GA/FL

“how many of the negatives are tested again or to clear patients” – if the patient gets worse, likely they will check again. We may not ever know the number of folks tested multiple times.
They asked people with negative results to still abide by the guidelines in order to prevent CoV infection.

kalbokalbs

Playing catch up today.
While not NY, CA, WA…
IF I am reading NV dashboard correctly, ~5% are testing positive. 109 positive 1,992 negative. So, ~95% negative.

As I understand it, it takes two, consecutive negatives, 24 hours apart to declare one recovered.
Admittedly, I may not be following everything posted above.

MSM is happily pushing stock market down and unemployment claims rising… So nothing new there.

Wolf Moon

They’re either lying about the numbers, or lying about a vaccine that they already had.
OR BOTH.

This is the paper referred to on the previous page.
Looks like aerosols, aka breathing maybe more important than thought AND vaccination, at least for type A influenza increases instead of decreasing the possibility of transmission.
The association of vaccination and shedding was significant for influenza A
Infectious virus in exhaled breath of symptomatic seasonal influenza cases from a college community

Significance
Lack of human data on influenza virus aerosol shedding fuels debate over the importance of airborne transmission. We provide overwhelming evidence that humans generate infectious aerosols and quantitative data to improve mathematical models of transmission and public health interventions. We show that sneezing is rare and not important for—and that coughing is not required for—influenza virus aerosolization. Our findings, that upper and lower airway infection are independent and that fine-particle exhaled aerosols reflect infection in the lung, opened a pathway for a deeper understanding of the human biology of influenza infection and transmission. Our observation of an association between repeated vaccination and increased viral aerosol generation demonstrated the power of our method, but needs confirmation.
ABSTRACT
….We screened 355 symptomatic volunteers with acute respiratory illness and report 142 cases with confirmed influenza infection who provided 218 paired nasopharyngeal (NP) and 30-minute breath samples (coarse >5-µm and fine ≤5-µm fractions) on days 1–3 after symptom onset. We assessed viral RNA copy number for all samples and cultured NP swabs and fine aerosols. We recovered infectious virus from 52 (39%) of the fine aerosols and 150 (89%) of the NP swabs with valid cultures….
Fine- and coarse-aerosol viral RNA were positively associated with body mass index and number of coughs and negatively associated with increasing days since symptom onset in adjusted models. Fine-aerosol viral RNA was also positively associated with having influenza vaccination for both the current and prior season. NP swab viral RNA was positively associated with upper respiratory symptoms and negatively associated with age but was not significantly associated with fine- or coarse-aerosol viral RNA or their predictors. Sneezing was rare, and sneezing and coughing were not necessary for infectious aerosol generation….
Self-reported vaccination for the current season was associated with a trend (P < 0.10) toward higher viral shedding in fine-aerosol samples; vaccination with both the current and previous year’s seasonal vaccines, however, was significantly associated with greater fine-aerosol shedding in unadjusted and adjusted models (P  0.10). The association of vaccination and shedding was significant for influenza A (P = 0.03) but not for influenza B (P = 0.83) infections (Table S4).
Viral load in NP swabs was not a significant predictor of aerosol shedding (P = 0.16 for fine and P = 0.48 for coarse aerosols). Temperature measured at the time of sampling, asthma history, smoking, and influenza type were not significantly associated with the extent of measured shedding. While self-reported symptoms were not associated with aerosol shedding, they were significantly associated with shedding measured by the NP swab; only upper respiratory symptoms remained significant when adjusted for other symptoms and age. Increasing age was associated with a significant decrease in shedding in the NP swab; however, age was not associated with aerosol shedding….

I have questions that I have not been able to find answers to – anywhere. As of this moment, on the Johns Hopkins dashboard, we have 18,563 cases with 214 deaths and 147 listed as “recovered”. (quotes added because I find the stat odd) So right now, how many of the cases are hospitalized? How many are recovering at home under a doctor’s care? And most importantly how many of the hospital cases are occupying an ICU room? You would think, would you not, since the people in power declaring martial law lite keep citing “overrunning the number of hospital beds” as their reasoning – they’d be giving out stats to back it up. Has anyone seen this info, anywhere?

Gail Combs

Try this: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/
USA
ACTIVE CASES 18,984
18,920 in Mild Condition
64 Serious or Critical
….
403 Cases which had an outcome
147 Recovered / Discharged
256 Deaths
>>>>>>
They also list by state.

That 64 number hasn’t changed for 3 days, I don’t trust it.

Smart!!! 😎

Ya. The serious / critical number is suspect across all sites with data. Rarely change.

Houston Mayor just held press conference to address rumors. Someone intentionally spreading in our area using social media and robocalls. They’ve launched investigation. Could be foreign actors. Also scammers are asking for your SSN so they can get your stimulus check to you.

Well here it is. China stopped counting mild cases on January 29. If they have mild symptoms and test positive they don’t get counted. Only the 20% of serious/critical cases are added to the totals. 🤬
https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2020/03/20/china-stopped-counting-mild-coronavirus-cases-in-february/

That’s what I immediately thought when our sheriff said foreign actors. So they’re dong it country wide.
I’ve been shutting down CCP bots on twitter. Interesting to look at some of their accounts and a few follow (stalk) nothing but the top conservatives. They are definitely targeting Trump supporters. One of them had checked out my timeline and threw ‘my love for Trump’ back at me. Even scarier, it knew what city I was located in. That really freaked me out. That wasn’t just a paid person typing propaganda on a keyboard. That was someone w/sophisticated networking, internet tracking skills. F’n Evil Chicom Mother F’rs!!🤬

As far as the city, DON’T PANIC!!!
They LOVE to track the IP address to the city you are in.
Then they can freak you out that they know where you are logged in from!
It’s a dumb trick, but it works. I’ve seen it used since the late 90s.

Doing some doomsday thinking here . . .
Let’s assume the hydroxychloroquine is as effective as it appears . . . a six day regimen and the WuFlu virus is dead. So we test just about everybody that has symptoms that make them think they could be coming down with WuFlu. We find a whole bunch of people that are coming down with a cold or seasonal flu, and 10% or so that are WuFlu positive.
But the asymptomatic but contagious period in the WuFlu victims ensures that the bug is spread to an ever increasing number of recipients. More people are infected until we start losing the people responsible for providing, manufacturing and transporting essential goods and services. Now we’re really in trouble.
Some medical writers have more than just speculated about the possible or probable preventive effects of hydroxychloroquine. It would take hundreds of millions of doses, but if that preventive effect exists, medicating the providers of our essential goods and services might not be a bad idea, if push comes to shove.

IIRC, while serving on the USS Enterprise, the crew (~5,000) was required to take a regimen of malaria pills, before we got to the problem areas. Quite sure it was malaria. But it was ~35 years ago. Even IF it wasn’t malaria, the concept is the same. In any case, we were not excited about it.
My point being, your suggestion is preventive in nature. Military does that. Guessing it is really a matter of side effects.

I’m not re-checking this, so maybe just hold this thought lightly… Quinolones are fine for many people but for that small number that have wrong genetic or medical conditions, taking them can mean permanent damage. I know of a university professor given one of these drugs and she’s never had normal health again. The most common problem IIRC is breakdown in matrix tissue such that you get tears in tendons. Not cool for working people that need their body to hold together as they lift/move things.

WOW.
Brilliant insight.
Wow.
Shocking and deeply disturbing.

That first chart is 5G subscribers.
An alternate explanation is that people got woke to the dangers of 60GHz millimeter waves and don’t want the phones anymore.

Just as a reminder, WHO said this

Good to know they’re on the ball, doing their part to protect us.

I’ve been harping on this for some time now. One more harp. Can’t promise it will be the last. All vids are very short.
First the Wuhan Shake. A celebratory PSA from China ((posted by one of us here)) showing what they were doing to stop the spread. Take away every one got was don’t shake hands. How do we miss the fact that everyone is wearing a mask.
https://twitter.com/TheSpeaker2018/status/1233798724167487490?s=20
Next the World Health Organization’s take on wearing a mask. Basically says not recommended unless your sick or caring for a sick person. Other than that no. Most nations to include the USA are following this recommendation.

Next Most Asian countries are not making mask wearing mandatory but but but encourage wearing a mask in a culture where wearing a mask is already an accepted norm by up to 50% of society. Under China Virus season it is hard to find pictures of people in crowds not wearing a mask. It seems to run at appox 95 to 99% compliance to the cultural norm of wearing a mask without mandating mask wearing.

My take on making any sort of face covering mandatory in spread areas / hot zones is it will control spread and make social distancing work at a more practical distance than the current 6ft rule and thus facilitate commerce.
This is what I said over a week ago>>>
Personally, I think the CDC’s new guidelines are an attempt to damage the economy and here’s why.
No where in CDC’s guide lines does it recommend wearing a mask to protect others. It does mention the 6 foot danger zone, but never recommends how that zone might be narrowed to a lesser distance to decrease spread.
Here’s what they say when you click the link to social distancing:
“The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.
The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person.
Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.”
CDC guide lines only talk about wearing a mask to protect oneself, not others. Wrong way to think if they want to minimize spread. All their minimize spread recommendations deal with canceling events, sending people home, not gathering. Right now they allow for up to 50 people gathering. No mention of masks. When the reported numbers go up as we know they will, numbers that well could be exaggerated, will they next lower the number to say 10 and recommend stores and business’s to be closed next? ((Yeah that happened)).
Why not recommend a mask, or any face covering to protect others when the mask has the potential to narrow the 6 foot zone to a safe 2 feet or closer as long as it is blocking the major respiratory droplets from spreading into the air. You can watch any video in any hot zone and see masks are mandatory. Yet we can see many of the people are wearing cheap masks that would not be considered safe from letting the virus in. So why are masks mandatory. Simple answer is it protects others.
Another thing the CDC does not mention is building up and maintaining a healthy constitution through a balanced diet or vitamin regimen. Not a whiff of it. Why not?
Personally I’m looking at the CDC right now as wanting the virus to enjoy its life while its around why they appear to be doing the right thing, economics be damned and you can well guess the reason.
If we wish to stop the spread, make wearing any kind of mask mandatory in effected zones. A Good mask, a not so good mask, even a kerchief. Any of those will cut the 6 foot zone down to 3 to 1 foot.
The idea is not to protect your self but protect others. Hello CDC?
The CDC is giving bogus guidance. Tell me where on their site they recommend cutting the effected zone down from 6 feet to as little as 1 foot by simply making the wearing of a mask mandatory in effected zones or zones that need protecting like the work place or where commerce takes place. They don’t want to stop the spread. They want the virus to continue to circulate, for older generations to be segregated from society and for commerce to be minimized. Is wearing a mask mandatory in high spread nations like China? It doesn’t matter the quality of the mask. It could be a simple kerchief and it would narrow the spread dramatically and facilitate commerce. End.
We are crashing an economy over not adopting a simple social norm that can be applied temporarily in hot zones.
Absent govt mandate or encouragement your stores should mandate the wear of any sort of face cover before being allowed access into that store so as to slow and disperse quicker the transmission of air borne particles that might be present and added benefit it helps prevent you from touching your face until you can wash your hands.
Shutting down most of economy is not the answer as everyone is still being funneled into grocery stores.
I could go on and on about this but will end for now saying Dr Fauci is either evil or wants/needs to have masks funneled into the health care system where there is an acute shortage of masks. I tend toward evil as less costly and effective face coverings can be used to slow the spread such as a simple bandanna across the mouth. It will stop the larger emissions of a CV carrier and it will permit for what does escape into the atmosphere to dissipate much quicker.
