Joe Biteme, properly styled His Fraudulency, continues to infest the White House, we haven’t heard much from the person who should have been declared the victor, and hopium is still being dispensed even as our military appears to have joined the political establishment in knuckling under to the fraud.

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.
Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

Everything except rhodium went down over the past week; actually it was a good deal lower on Wednesday, and higher on Thursday, than it is today. Which implies to me these metals are settling into a new trading range with (for example) gold trading at a bit over $1900 typically.
Which is still a good deal higher than where it was before, having trouble staying over $1800.00, though it’s not dancing around the $2000 dollar mark like it was a week and a half ago.
Expect continued inflation and for shortages to not just continue but get worse.
James Webb Space Telescope Update
This week the James Webb Space Telescope reached another milestone in getting the eighteen separate primary mirror segments to work as one. They were able to image a star and dozens of distant galaxies behind the star. (I posted about this on Thursday.) Now the challenge is getting that focus to be true for all of the different science instruments on the spacecraft, not just the one they’ve been using.
Apparently the optics are meeting or exceeding all expectations. Once the mirror alignment is fully complete and the instruments are all calibrated, the interesting stuff begins. Images from this thing should be vastly better than Hubble…but it’s an apples-to-oranges comparison since Hubble and JWST look at different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. JWST can’t even see green, blue, violet and ultraviolet light, though it can see very deeply into the infrared–which Hubble can’t do.

I keep telling people the dollar is toast as we understand it today. It started long ago. The dollar is simply a unit of measurement of wealth that in theory has asset backing. With the official demise of the last vestiges of the gold standard 50 years ago the backing changed. Being fiat, it may or may not have hard asset backing. Our national leadership chose to make the full faith and credit of our government and its taxing ability (as well as war making ability) an asset for which the rest of the world can count on to pay them back when they invest in our debt as a safe harbor for their own many reasons.

Part of “faith and credit” is that the government that issues the money (even fiat money) is willing to accept the money as tax payment, as opposed to, say, requiring gold and silver.
In other words, even a one dollar note backed by nothing you can drop on your foot is still worth something if using it for taxes will keep you out of jail for tax evasion.
When a government won’t even do that, it’s a loud signal that the stuff is fundamentally worthless.

YES! Some are CLEARLY galaxies, and I think the less clear ones that are oval and not clearly stars (with rays) are also galaxies.
The Hubble Deep Space Field was basically a super-long exposure taken in a direction where there are very few stars (in our galaxy) to confuse things. (This was also in Ursa Major.)
All but a tiny handful of the dots here are galaxies. It’s 2.6 arcminutes wide (about 1/12th the width of the full moon).
The exposure took ten days; these are very faint galaxies.

More and more galaxies, the deeper you look.
It was common until a few years ago to say there were probably a hundred billion stars in the average galaxy, and a hundred billion or so galaxies in the universe (based on counting what was in these images and extrapolating over the whole sky–as far as we can tell it looks the same in every direction once you get outside of the supercluster our galaxy is in). Both of those numbers have been revised…upward.
Wikipedia has articles on all three of these pictures.
Looking at those again I just realized the HXDF picture is actually in the same direction as the upper left part of the HUDF. The same group of four galaxies (orange, blue, blue, and lavender, with the last three almost in a line) appears in both, and you can spot other groupings as well.
Almost dead center (a bit to the right) in the HUDF is an actual star, there are a couple of others including one near the top edge.
Wouldn’t it be just awesome if they turned that thing in a new direction, and God was looking right at them?
People of some persuasions (not yours and certainly not mine) would say that this is God looking back at you. Not the big star (which isn’t a spectacular star in particular; it’s just being imaged by a really powerful telescope), but the universe in general; it wouldn’t matter which direction you looked. Basically a “pantheistic” view, or perhaps “Spinoza’s God.”
Or you can take a step back from that and read Psalm 19 if that is your wont.
Oh, I had that thought. I see God in everything natural, including us.
I just think it would be really hilarious if an actual human face was looking back.

My old Integra, which lives on in memory (and somewhere on the road, driven by someone who had the ability to rebuild the engine), got keyed one time for parking in a handicapped spot. The thing is, because of three people who were pulling trailers and took up six parking spots each, there was no other place to park and the hotel management told me to take the spot.

I had a boss who would park way out in the parking lot, not because he didn’t want people dinging his car and was being super cautious (it was a Honda Civic, albeit one of the sportier ones), but just because he didn’t want to muck around with hunting for a close space. Park it, and walk in a little further, and be done with it.
So people started parking right next to his car deliberately, just to try to annoy him, but they were missing the point.
It’s good exercise, too… Amazing how some people circle around and around and around trying to find the closest parking space… Although there have been times when a parking lot is so crowded that there is no other chance (when IN-N-OUT Burger came to Pleasanton, CA, it was like that… and the drive-thru was backed up onto the adjacent street, so that wasn’t an option either)…
Fortunately the fad subsided in concert with some changes to the parking lot traffic routing, and things improved.
Just in time for us to move back over here 🙁
Only thing here is McD, Burger King, and Wendy’s was here for a while… Anymore there are Kebap-shops and hookah bars on just about every corner, the Greek and Italian “locals” having been forced out (and likely, “protection” money not having been paid).
A Pizzeria a ways away changed hands, and a couple of days later a robbery happened; a short while later the place closed for good, being replaced by one of the aforementioned hookah/kebap bars… The original place, a pizza parlor that had been there for DECADES was really good. Then, Merde-Kuh’s invitation to the refauxgees changed all that. Now we’re getting faux refauxgees – fakeukrainians… 😡

And it seems like the poorer the neighborhood, the worse the parking spot competition gets.
On a business trip to southern CA, parking lot traffic was blocked by a lazy sack of shit who insisted on waiting for a right-by-the-front parking spot…while the current holder loaded a shit ton of groceries into their car, and then had to strap their baby into a car seat. This process went on for about five minutes.
I finally got around the lazy sack of shit, found a parking spot quite a bit further away, walked into the store, did my shopping, and ALMOST was able to finish before they finally got their prize…a parking spot by the door, woo hoo!!!
This is one reason I hate the current practice of designing parking lots so that the driveway from the street sends you right past the front of the store. Another is that if the store is busy enough, the trickle of pedestrians across the crosswalk never abates and cars back up into the street and tie up traffic out there. What idiot fuckwit decided that was a sensible way to design parking lots?
The worst ones circle the parking lot for 10 minutes to get a good parking spot….for the gym.

I want to repeat this over and over.
This is not a FEDERAL issue. It is a state issue down to the county level at least. To clean it up, the state houses, and two party system must be addressed. Redistricting this year, the RINOs and Dems are eliminating MAGA districts. The parties are putting no money behind MAGA candidates. The splinter strategy is in play in many places. The states themselves, and most counties, are making no moves to clean up the mess.
The ENTIRE SYSTEM from top to bottom needs to be addressed, and the people in charge just are not going to do it. It’s great to have poll watchers, and MAGA efforts with election officials, but that’s just the beginning.
The fraud needs to be exposed. The audits should have done that, but the “news” organs block information on all of that all the time. How this is going to change is a matter that is going to be very messy.

OK, update on yours truly:
I was off the board here yesterday because I was taken by ambulance to the ER of the Duke University Regional Hospital in Durham. Not to get into the “down and dirty” details, there was a painful, spreading rash on the upper right part of my body. Already had had a couple of sleepless nights. I thought I was coming down with Shingles or some other infection. Didn’t want to trust myself driving to the ER, so called 911. The EMS streaked over, did their thing, streaked to the ER. They thought it was either Shingles, or something that could cause anaphylaxis.
Long story short: Hours in the ER. Exams by several medical staff among them the lead ER doctor on the floor. His diagnosis: NOT Shingles (thank God) — but a combination of Contact Dermatitis “(Unknown Cause”) and BUT BITES by tiny things like CHIGGERS and OUTDOOR MITES that he believes were brought into the house by my dog!
He gave me a tube of “Janitor-in-a-Drum” type steroid ointment to apply for at least the next 7 days. Followup with my dermatologist was scheduled for next week. The dog goes to the vet on Monday to have skin samples taken and fur examined.
Meanwhile, I’m washing bedding (mine and the dog’s), towels, clothing, etc., in hot water and mild detergent. The floors will be hot-water-washed (no rugs here).
The ER facility was hopping.
Pro Tip from yesterday: Yours truly noticed that since the Draconian COVID restrictions have been reduced / removed (except for all persons inside the building must wear a mask), some things have gone back to “the old normal” — medical personnel wear gloves only when necessary; the computer keyboards and mice in the triage rooms, the staff areas, etc., aren’t wiped down with disinfectant between people using them; one needs to go back to asking any person who is going to touch one’s body if they had washed their hands; quick use of hand sanitizer by personnel upon exiting the exam room.

One summer my husband cleaned out the weeds in a window well. He laid down on the grass. Later that day he fellt burning over half his body. In shower he dicovered a rash a painful one. He knew right away what it was the old boyscout he is 🙂 Do not remember how he got rid of it.

I am admittedly late to the party with this but what with shoulder pain, then playing catch-up with my household chores, I have been trying to avoid typing lately. But I thought I should give you all an “up close and personal” take on Ukraine, courtesy of my husband.
After the fall of the iron curtain, DH was involved in establishing centers for Bible correspondence courses in 7 former GUS countries, including Ukraine. From 1991 to about 2008, he made many trips with teams of co-workers to places all over the country, including Yalta (Krim), Odessa, Kiev, Cherkassy, Lvov, Gramatorsk, Charkiv, Rovno (Rivne) and more. He was with a team in Kiev during the orange revolution, passing out flyers advertising the Bible courses in the marketplace. They were able to complete their work unhindered, only noticing all the orange flags and later learning what had happened.
My husband’s repeated comment since all the recent hyperventillating about Ukraine began: “Ukraine is the most corrupt country I have ever visited.” And he has been to several african countries with their own brands of corruption as well as Romania and other eastern european nations with similar problems. Here a true story to illustrate:
DH was driving convoy with several mini-vans on a rural highway in the dead of night in order to reach their destination the next day. They were just approaching a completely dark house situated right at the edge of the road. Suddenly, the lights go on and a policeman runs out to the road, waving the convoy to a halt. He claims they have been speeding and he would have to give them tickets. My husband did not spend his youth in East Germany for nothing, and immediately understood the situation. He denied that they had been speeding, asked to see the “policeman’s” papers and told him he would demand to be taken to the man’s higher-ups the next morning if they were detained. The man promptly abandonned his accusation of speeding and the group was allowed to continue on their way. DH could cite other examples of off-duty policemen trying to line their own pockets in this manner. In Ternopol, there was even a faked accident in an attempt to bring charges against him and his crew and, of course, to get cash. God is good, and gave my husband the presence of mind, heavenly guidance and the remnants of the hated russian language he was required to learn in school, in order to effect positive outcomes in these and many other similar situations.

Yours truly posits that ANY person who had ANY infection of COVID-19 (whether or not they were / are “vaccinated”) from November, 2019, onward, PLUS ANY person who has the spike protein POISON from the “vaccines” in their body, need to follow a detox program — likely for the rest of their lives.
Regarding NAC, yours truly takes 300mg per day.
Regarding vitamin C, yours truly usually takes 2,000mg per day. During periods of illness or other issue (like the rash thing currently), it goes to 3,000mg per day.
Regarding vitamin D3, yours truly takes 2,000IU per day under supervision for Osteoporosis. Taking too much vitamin D3 on a daily basis can lead to problems like nausea, muscle weakness, and polyuria. And there’s nothing like sunshine for getting vitamin D.
Regarding Zinc, yours truly takes 40mg per day.
Regarding ECGC, yours truly takes 250mg of Quercetin per day.
The FLCCC is constantly changing their recommendations for amounts of supplements to take in their protocols on how to deal with a post-COVID-19 infection or after having been “vaccinated.”
The best detox is water fasting. The body is best at removing crap from your body. Takes working up to but 3 day fast once a month. A 5 day once per quarter. If you have to supplement that much there is something wrong with your diet. We are not designed to be on supplements.

Like RDS, I take everything in the Z-DTox already, except I take quercetin instead of ECGC.
I take a LOT of vitamin D in winter, less in summer. I don’t have side effects from it, and my blood work has been perfect for D levels.
Rather than take NAC every day, I alternate days. When I don’t take NAC, I take Hawthorn for cardiovascular health.
I think if your diet is good, high in antioxidants like dark berries and dark leafy greens, you could try the on for two-off for six with the NAC. Nutrition from food can be just as beneficial as supplementation. And I know this stuff is getting seriously expensive for some of us.
I don’t recommend more than 25mg of zinc per day for more than a week or two for illness. Too much prevents your body from absorbing copper, which is also important.
