The Gulf Coast Region where Robstown is located was inhabited by Native Americans in the early 1300-1400’s A.D and subsequent years. Among the tribes who are believed to have lived along the region were the Coahuiltecan, the Tonkawa, Commanche, the Karankawa, and the Lipan-Apache.[2]
The first “Robstown” was located about 3-4 miles west of its present location in a site currently known as Rabb, Texas.[3]
On January 12, 1903 a charter was granted for the St. Louis, Brownsville and Mexico Railroad Company (Missouri-Pacific Rail Road) and the rail line would cross the Texas-Mexican Railway which went from Corpus Christi to Laredo.[4] This crossroad (as yet, unnamed) was a growth catalyst and agriculturally based economic engine that laid a foundation for the City of Robstown that was to become “The Biggest Little Town in Texas” in the following years. To this date (2016), this crossroads location continues to provide dynamic economic opportunities for growth for the City of Robstown and the entire Gulf Coast and South Texas regions.
Once this crossroad was established it stirred a series of entrepreneurial opportunities and ideas for local and non-local business-minded and land speculator pioneers. Much credit is given to the rail road crossroads for the birth of Robstown, but it was not until a land speculator from Keota, Iowa by the name of George H. Paul arrived in 1907 (thus the “beginning” of Robstown) and purchased 10,410.43 acres of the Driscoll Ranch located north of the Texas-Mexican Railroad (built in 1875[5]) that a vibrant new settlement began to take place.[6] He established the George H. Paul Land Company and built a land office for promoting and selling tracts of land. By then, other small entrepreneurs had begun to build hotels and other small businesses to accommodate the needs of a new influx of settlers helping to construct and expand the Missouri-Pacific rail lines and a growing population of settlers that began to develop and cultivate the rich farming land in the area. Among these early businesses was the Germania Hotel (originally located on the current Brendle hotel site) built by the A.B. Kuehm family in 1902 who came here to help with the construction of the Missouri-Pacific Rail Road south to Brownsville.[7] This was the first building built in Robstown. These early farmers and business entrepreneurs, within a few years, successfully turned the area into a leading cattle, cotton and vegetable farming/ranching area. Also among these small business ventures was a small store established by Robert Driscoll, Jr. and it was known as “Rob’s Store.” Soon after that, the locals were referring to it as “Rob’s town.” Thus the birth of the town’s name–Robstown.[8]

Over the past four years, President Donald Trump’s administration delivered for Americans of all backgrounds like never before. Save America is about building on those accomplishments, supporting the brave conservatives who will define the future of the America First Movement, the future of our party, and the future of our beloved country. Save America is also about ensuring that we always keep America First, in our foreign and domestic policy. We take pride in our country, we teach the truth about our history, we celebrate our rich heritage and national traditions, and of course, we respect our great American Flag.
We are committed to defending innocent life and to upholding the Judeo-Christian values of our founding.
We believe in the promise of the Declaration of Independence, that we are all made EQUAL by our Creator, and that must all be TREATED equal under the law.
We know that our rights do not come from government, they come from God, and no earthly force can ever take those rights away. That includes the right to religious liberty and the right to Keep and Bear Arms.
We believe in rebuilding our previously depleted military and ending the endless wars our failed politicians of the past got us into for decades.
We embrace free thought, we welcome robust debate, and we are not afraid to stand up to the oppressive dictates of political correctness.
We know that the rule of law is the ultimate safeguard of our freedoms, and we affirm that the Constitution means exactly what it says AS WRITTEN.
We support fair trade, low taxes, and fewer job-killing regulations, and we know that America must always have the most powerful military on the face of the Earth.
We believe in Law and Order, and we believe that the men and women of law enforcement are HEROES who deserve our absolute support.
We believe in FREE SPEECH and Fair Elections. We must ensure fair, honest, transparent, and secure elections going forward – where every LEGAL VOTE counts.
Today, it is still the case that Joe Biden didn’t Win.
I realize that to some readers, this might be a shock; surely at some point things must change and Biden will have actually won.
But the past cannot actually be changed.
It will always and forever be the case that Joe Biden didn’t win.
And if you, Leftist Lurker, want to dismiss it as dead white cis-male logic…well, you can call it what you want, but then please just go fuck off. No one here buys that bullshit–logic is logic and facts are facts regardless of skin color–and if you gave it a moment’s rational thought, you wouldn’t either. Of course your worthless education never included being able to actually reason–or detect problems with false reasoning–so I don’t imagine you’ll actually wake up as opposed to being woke.
As Ayn Rand would sometimes point out: Yes, you are free to evade reality. What you cannot do is evade the consequences of evading reality. Or to put it concretely: You can ignore the Mack truck bearing down on you as you play in the middle of the street, you won’t be able to ignore the consequences of ignoring the Mack truck.
And Ayn Rand also pointed out that existence (i.e., the sum total of everything that exists) precedes consciousness–our consciousnesses are a part of existence, not outside of it–therefore reality cannot be a “social construct” as so many of you fucked-up-in-the-head people seem to think.
So much for Leftist douchebag lurkers. For the rest of you, the regular readers and those lurkers who understand such things: I continue to carry the banner once also carried by Wheatie. His Fraudulency didn’t win.
Let’s Go, Brandon!!
Hey China!
Or rather, “Hey Chinese Communist Party and your entire array of servitors, ass-wipers, and fellators!”
You’re not even worth my time this week. When you decide to act like civilized people, maybe I’ll give you a lesson or two in how non-barbarians behave.
Hey BiteMe! (Or, Whoever Has Their Hand Rammed Up That Putrefying Meat Puppet’s Ass)
[Language warning]
You and yours have caused a lot of injury. Literal injury with your war on people who don’t want to take an untested vaccine. When people die in an emergency room because a hospital won’t admit them because they haven’t had their clot shot, that’s a crime.
I’m going to address here the insult on top of the injury, because I am among the insulted. I still have my health but apparently you want me to live under the 8th Street Bridge (which actually isn’t on 8th Street, but whatever, that’s what the I-25 overpass over Cimarron is called), so maybe if you have your way that won’t be true for long. Dreadful time of year to become homeless.
No, you’re just trying to make me unemployed, because I won’t take your fucking shots.
Well, that threat is NOT going to work. I. Won’t. Take. Your. Fucking. Shots.
And it looks like enough people agree, that you’re having to back down, you worthless asswipe.
You’re LOSING.
You LOSER.
You Chinese-bought ratfucking traitor.
I would love to see you die an agonizing, humiliating death. (This isn’t a threat, because I am not threatening to cause that death. I am just announcing my intention to party if it happens.) It would be just recompense for the way you’re killing America…and millions of Americans.
His Fraudulency
Joe Biteme, properly styled His Fraudulency, continues to infest the White House, we haven’t heard much from the person who should have been declared the victor, and hopium is still being dispensed even as our military appears to have joined the political establishment in knuckling under to the fraud.
One can hope that all is not as it seems.
I’d love to feast on that crow.
(I’d like to add, I find it entirely plausible, even likely, that His Fraudulency is also His Figureheadedness. (Apparently that wasn’t a word; it got a red underline. Well it is now.) Where I differ with the hopium addicts is on the subject of who is really in charge. It ain’t anyone we like.)
Justice Must Be Done.
The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.
Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

OK now for the fine print.
This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Poltical correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines, here, with an addendum on 20191110.
We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.
And remember Wheatie’s Rules:
1. No food fights 2. No running with scissors. 3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone. 4. Zeroth rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government get your guns. 5. Rule one of gun safety: The gun is always loaded. 5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty. 6. Rule two of gun safety: Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy. 7. Rule three: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire. 8. Rule the fourth: Be sure of your target and what is behind it.
Things are up…a bit. But then it would be hard to fall off the floor.
Neptune
The James Webb Space Telescope took a gander at Neptune a couple of weeks ago.
Wht you see here is Neptune itself (and you can see detail in the atmosphere), as well as seven of its moons. Back when I was a kid, Neptune was known to have two moons, Triton and Nereid; Triton is one of the larger moons in the solar system–back then they thought it might even be the largest, but our estimates of its size kept decreasing. It’s now known to be the smallest of the seven “big” moons in our solar system (the other six, being, largest first, Ganymede, Titan, Callisto, Io, our Moon, and Europa–all but Titan and our Moon orbit Jupiter.) The other moons of Neptune are far smaller. Small enough, in fact, that they don’t reach hydrostatic equilibrium–fancy talk for “they don’t crush themselves down to spheres under their own force of gravity.” (Which the Earth did, comma dammit.) Triton is also unusual for being the only large moon to orbit retrograde…in other words, from over Neptune’s north pole Triton appears to be orbiting clockwise, not counter-clockwise. That makes astronomers strongly suspect it was once a Kuiper Belt object (like Pluto) but got captured by Neptune, rather than forming in orbit around Neptune originally.
But the other thing to notice in this picture is the rings. Yes, Neptune has rings. All of the giant planets have rings, but only Saturn’s are superduperOMGspectacular (that’s a highly technical term). In fact this picture is SO good, we are seeing details in the rings that we have not seen since Voyager 2 flew by in 1989.
In natural color Neptune looks pale blue:
(Yes, just for once, a non-false color image…this one is from Hubble.)
And I saw a comment in an article about the JWST image from someone who wanted to see it blue.
I had to laugh because JWST can’t see blue.
I’m not saying JWST is colorblind (it is not); I am saying JWST cannot see blue, period. Even a profoundly colorblind person, taken outside during the daytime on a bright sunny day, can see the sky…he can’t tell what color it is, but he can certainly see it’s bright. JWST would see nothing, it would be dark, at least at those dominant wavelengths. Of the colors we can see, JWST can only see reds and oranges. But it can see dozens of colors, redder than red, that we can’t see. You could put one of us in a room with glorious artwork painted with all of those colors (presumably created by an alien artist), and all we’d see is black paint on the walls. This is why we actually need false color representations of what JWST can see.
The Picture We’ve Been Waiting For
Hands down, the most famous image Hubble ever took is this one:
This is “The Pillars Of Creation.” And I’ve seen them with my own eyes, because they are part of the Eagle nebula. And the reason that nebula is called the Eagle nebula is perhaps a little more obvious in the next picture, also by Hubble, from 2014:
In your mind’s eye, rotate that clockwise 90 degrees and you should see an eagle. Well, sort of. And indeed if you look in the constellation Serpens (near Sagittarius) with a telescope, you’ll see this as the centerpiece to the broader Eagle Nebula:
If you imagine that, not nearly as sharp or bright, and in black and white, and smaller, that’s what I saw in my telescope…roughly twenty years ago. Notice that the “tallest” of the pillars is very hard to see, leaving only the wing, body, and talon of the eagle obvious. And what you can see of that tallest pillar could even be the far wing of the eagle.
The Eagle nebula is an “emission nebula” which means the gas in the nebula is actually glowing from its own heat, having been heated up by stars. Stars are actually forming in this nebula, which is the reason it has been nicknamed “The Pillars of Creation.” It’s 6500 light years away, which means what we see is what it looked like 6500 years ago…it has taken that light that long to reach us. In miles that’s something like 39,000,000,000,000,000 miles. (In words, 39 quadrillion miles, or on continental Europe it would be rendered as 39 thousand billion or even 39 billiard miles.) (No, I am not joking about billiard, it’s a thousand billion just like a milliard is a thousand million, on the “long scale” in use in many parts of the world–where a “billion” is a million million not a thousand million as it is here.)
OK, so that’s what it is…now, JWST has gone and taken a gander.
The first thing you’ll notice is the coloring is different. Well, remember these are false colors (but this looks a lot like the same false color palette as was used on the other nebula picture released a few months ago). And it makes sense to use different ones from Hubble (that’s a false color image too), because they really are different colors.
The second is, LOTS more stars. In fact, “My God it’s full of stars!” (To quote the 2010 novel and movie). That’s because infrared radiation, which JWST is expressly designed to see, cuts right through a lot of the dust and gas of the nebula…we can actually see through it, in many cases. Areas that were just green background in the Hubble image are now deep blue with zillions of stars. And the level of detail is just phenomenal.
OK, six minutes to midnight ET…I’ll wrap this up.
Obligatory PSAs and Reminders
China is Lower than Whale Shit
Remember Hong Kong!!!
Whoever ends up in the cell next to his, tell him I said “Hi.”
中国是个混蛋 !!! Zhōngguò shì gè hùndàn !!! China is asshoe !!!
China is in the White House
Since Wednesday, January 20 at Noon EST, the bought-and-paid for His Fraudulency Joseph Biden has been in the White House. It’s as good as having China in the Oval Office.
Joe Biden is Asshoe
China is in the White House, because Joe Biden is in the White House, and Joe Biden is identically equal to China. China is Asshoe. Therefore, Joe Biden is Asshoe.
But of course the much more important thing to realize:
Joe Biden Didn’t Win
乔*拜登没赢 !!! Qiáo Bài dēng méi yíng !!! Joe Biden didn’t win !!!
It’s 1:05PM Eastern Time. At 1:20PM, the ACIP committee will most likely vote Yes to formally include COVID-19 “vaccines” and “booster shots” into the CDC’s Childhood Vaccination Schedule that all healthcare professionals follow, along with 90%+ of public-school districts requiring compliance in order for children to attend school.
That prompted….
These CDC guys we apparently elected are doing such a great job. I'm so glad we elected these great officials to unilaterally mandate these changes over our lives.
My office has received serval phone calls and emails from concerned parents and grandparents in SWFL regarding CDC action to add the COVID vaccine to the vaccination schedule for kids.
My office has assured every concerned Floridian that our state OPPOSES every COVID mandate.
Why is America's chief public health agency requiring an untrustworthy vaccine for a demographic that is largely unaffected by COVID? https://t.co/JQoSkV9IqD
For nearly two years, we’ve been told the Covid-19 “vaccines” offer varying degrees of protection while offering varying varying degrees of risks. The trajectory of these two attributes of the jabs have been heading in opposite directions every since their launch. At first, we were told the injections received emergency use authorization because they were 100% effective and offered zero risk. Over time, that effectiveness number has steadily dropped while the risk factor has risen, though the degree to which these numbers have fallen and risen has been shrouded by lies, gaslighting, and a persistent narrative.
The powers-that-be have continuously changed their own narrative, but one thing has remained consistent throughout. They continue to push for every man, woman, and child to be injected as many times as possible.
On today’s episode of The JD Rucker Show, I discussed several stories and played a few videos that highlight while today is a “tipping point” for vaccine tyranny. The perceived mandate by the CDC to force vaccinations on school-age children contradicts every piece of data we have available. Children face infinitesimal risks to Covid and far greater risks from the jabs themselves. On top of that, the jabs appear to have negative efficacy that gets worse with each subsequent shot, draining away immune systems and replacing what God gave us with the abominations of manufactured spike proteins and other chemical toxins.
Okay, let’s see what else is in the tabs including stuff that did appear in yesterday’s comments.
Trump embarrasses the “elites” who have wretchedly constructed our very un-American “ruling class.” When backstabbing Ryan, Mittens Romney, McTurtle, Sassy-pants, or any of the other NeverTrump Chumps speaks of the “Great MAGA King,” every one of them does so with a derision rolling off his tongues that says, “How could anybody support this bourgeois philistine? He’s just so gauche and unrefined and barely housebroken!”
It’s not just elites. I know so many never Trumpers who are more concerned about his style than substance, it’s not even funny.
The poll broke down the results by the respondents’ ages, and while the category encompassing Gen X also technically included some younger Baby Boomers, it captured most of the so-called slacker generation. According to the survey, Gen Xers, those born between 1965 and 1980, now prefer a Republican candidate to a Democratic candidate 59 percent to 38 percent, a huge gap unmatched by the other age groups. (Boomers, the next closest group, split at 48 percent for each.)
That wasn’t the only bad news for Democrats. Fifty-six percent of Gen Xers “strongly disapprove” of Joe Biden’s job performance—a percentage nine points higher than the disapproval of Baby Boomers and 20 points higher than that of Millennials. Donald Trump has the highest approval rating and lowest unfavorable rating among Gen X voters. Forty-two percent of my generation describe Democrats as a threat to democracy; 50 percent say the same about Biden.
The Times poll isn’t an outlier. A whopping 64 percent of Gen Xers disapprove of Biden, eight points higher than the next closest age group, the Boomers, according to a Morning Consult survey conducted earlier this month. Gen Xers are most likely to believe the country is on the wrong track; plan to vote Republican next month; think coronavirus hysteria is a bigger threat to the economy than to public health; disapprove of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi; and approve of Trump.
Essentially, the CFPB is a congressionally authorized far-left extortion scheme in the banking sector. The CFPB levies fines; the fines generate income; however, unlike traditional fines that go to the U.S. treasury, the CFBP fines are then redistributed to left-wing organizations to help fund their political activism.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) was the brainchild of Senator Elizabeth Warren as an outcome of the Dodd-Frank legislation. Within the CFPB Warren tried to set up the head of the agency, the Director, in a manner that that he/she would operate without oversight. Unfortunately, her dictatorial-fiat-design collapsed when challenged in court.
Galvanize Action works to “identify, reach, and move moderate women in rural, small town, and suburban America to reliably vote for progress,” according to its website. It does so by working at the “intersection of data science, behavioral psychology, and neuroscience” to find women in battleground states “who want progress but aren’t yet reliably voting that way, connect with them on their values, and impact their voting behavior.”
The low-profile group is working to move women to Democrats in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Ohio and will expand to North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Texas and Nevada. Galvanize Action is a fiscally sponsored project of the Sixteen Thirty Fund, a nonprofit incubator managed by the Washington, D.C.-based Arabella Advisors consulting firm.
As Andy Puzder, the former CEO of CKE Restaurants — parent to Hardee’s and Carl’s Junior — has explained, the basic tenets of ESG are radical environmental policy — the so-called “green” energy transition, progressive social policy — requiring woke principles to be enacted within a company from the top down, and governance policies that see merit-based systems replaced with preferences based on race or sex.
These ideas and policies, of course, aren’t new. But ESG has teeth where previous attempts lacked meaningful enforcement. That’s because ESG has been adopted by some of the largest financial firms in the United States. Namely BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street. Their holdings make them the number one shareholder in 80% of the companies in the S&P 500, Puzder notes. The power they get as shareholders allows them to force companies to implement ESG as upstream controllers of a company — whether all the Americans whose funds they hold agree with ESG or not.
Steele never really recovered from his tiff with Limbaugh and despite running for reelection for Chair, he was ejected from the position. Deservedly so.
Ever since Steele has held a grudge, particularly exacerbated by the ascendance of Trump and the MAGA movement. His comments yesterday were in line with his previously expressed opinions, but crossed a line into dehumanizing rhetoric that is disqualifying for any commentator. He is not supposed to be an outrageous Twitter warrior using “ugly” and “incendiary” rhetoric, but rather portrays himself as a representative of Republicans from another era.
Comparing human beings to “lice, fleas, and blood-sucking ticks” has a rather nasty history. I hesitate to compare anybody to the Nazis because it is so rarely true, but this is exactly the same rhetorical move that Hitler used to “other” the Jews. Insects are to be exterminated, not reasoned with or afforded human rights. Steele knows this as well as any educated human being, and yet chose this rhetoric in a moment of clarity on national TV, with a TV news person nodding along.
Why? Because the conservative project has largely failed, and it is time for a new approach. Conservatives have long defined their politics in terms of what they wish to conserve or preserve — individual rights, family values, religious freedom, and so on. Conservatives, we are told, want to preserve the rich traditions and civilizational achievements of the past, pass them on to the next generation, and defend them from the left. In America, conservatives and classical liberals alike rightly believe an ascendent left wants to dismantle our constitutional system and transform America into a woke dystopia. The task of conservatives, going back many decades now, has been to stop them.

1The earth is the LORD’s and the fulness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein; 2for he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers. 3Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? 4He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully. 5He will receive blessing from the LORD, and vindication from the God of his salvation. 6Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. After the midterm elections, when Democrats, their moneybags backers, and corporate media lackeys are stunned that they’ve lost Congress by margins larger than now anticipated — and heaps of state and local offices are lost — the quiet may end abruptly. Don’t bet against it.
Infrastructure requires careful definition these days. Leftists have recently repurposed the word to describe not pipelines and power grids but social services and public education. Where leftists trod, moderate Democrats and RINOs have followed, muddying the meaning by imposing a broad concept onto what should be straightforward and tangible. This isn’t a trivial problem, because infrastructure, traditionally defined, demands painful clarity from ideologues committed to limited government.
For example, if you are going to build a pipeline to transport natural gas from wells to refineries and from there to end users, you have to lay the pipe in a route that minimizes material waste. The same reality holds true for high-voltage power lines, freeways, and railroads. Without the ability of government to exercise eminent domain, it would be impossible to secure easements to build these necessary assets.
Even infrastructure built with private funding, such as toll roads, can’t be constructed without eminent domain. Without that legal authority, one private landowner occupying a small parcel in the path of a project could stop it cold.
The moral worth of eminent domain falls along a continuum, and where the line is drawn between justified versus unjustified use is subjective. Necessary pipelines, aqueducts, and power lines are on one end, and sports stadiums, “redevelopment,” and urban renewal are on the other. And even in those less justifiable categories, history is filled with examples of glorious rebuilt cities arising on top of decaying slums, and only the arbitrary use of power made them possible.
But we don’t have to go that far in this discussion. We’re just trying to keep the lights on.
I laid off the Danchenko trial, because I recognized that Durham’s role is more of an educator than a prosecutor. And unfortunately, many in this community are so famished for justice, that they are let down when low-level pawns are not prosecuted. Yet, if Danchenko was to have been found guilty, the same people who are upset, would have been screaming that “none of this matter’s unless Hillary and Obama go down”. Which, is true.
We should not hinge our success on low-level players like Danchenko or Sussman. Names that 99.99% of the public didn’t know until they appeared on trial. This is not about them. This is about a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top, and exposing the web of subordinates Obama and the Hillary campaign used to pull off treason.
No one has done more to hurt Hispanic citizens than Mark Kelly. Their communities are being overrun by mass illegal immigration from every part of the planet.

The whole thing with Walker smells like a well placed hit piece. Think about it. When does the left do things like this? Every single time. And its likely done to hide what appears to be spousal abuse by their candidate. Too much history to ignore ( tho wokism will ingore it)

14For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man, 17and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fulness of God. 20Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, 21to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. 49“I came to cast fire upon the earth; and would that it were already kindled! 50I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how I am constrained until it is accomplished! 51Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division; 52for henceforth in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three; 53they will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against her mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. — With Ketanji Brown Jackson joining a growing number of women on the United States Supreme Court, Justice Clarance Thomas has taken to wearing noise-canceling headphones to help drown out the incessant chatter.
“What on earth do these womenfolk need to be talking about all the time?” said Thomas. “Why do you need 11,000 words to discuss whether a man using a girl’s bathroom is a First Amendment right? The Constitution ain’t that complicated! I can’t take it anymore!”
Thomas then turned up the volume on his favorite Megadeath album Rust in Peace and put his head down, waiting for the ladies to finish their extremely drawn-out legal arguments.
Justices Alito, Kavanaugh, and Gorsuch have also found ways to cope with the increased noise level, often sneaking away to the bathroom to smoke a cigarette while waiting for oral arguments to finish. “I took up smoking just so I’d have an excuse to get away. This is bad for my health!” complained Kavanaugh.
As I’ve reported, the FBI spends an average of $42 million per year to pay informants and does so with absolutely no financial or legal accountability. Confidential human sources are paid in cash; they can offer their services for a variety of reasons including financial need or to obtain a change in immigration status. FBI agents are required to keep at least one informant on the books, an FBI whistleblower told me; successfully using a CHS to bust up a crime is one way to get promoted.
But ongoing trials related to the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, January 6, and the Whitmer fednapping case are once again shining a light on the way the bureau hires snitches to advance political goals.
Millions of us stood up against the cabal and faced the wrath — and now there must be counter-consequences, there must be justice. https://t.co/kSfhDUQtwY

Prediction: the CDC will punt decisions on the child vaccine recommendation schedule. The word has gotten out and they won’t be able to face the music. Especially this close to an election.
Ya no that’s already been tried and was an epic failure. Trust the science??? Follow the money maybe is a better phrase to use. https://t.co/bRfKRagdt4
Bullshit. OSHA is the federal government. He literally called it a pandemic of the unvaccinated, went to Supreme Court to ensure OSHA implement his rules at private workplaces and when that was overturned, appealed it. They're still enforcing it across all federal institutions. https://t.co/tYixXRnoh9
(I don’t remember who brought this to a daily in the comments, but thanks.)
And, of course, the obligatory George Carlin:

And now for the obligatory message from our sponsors:
Here at the Q tree we believe in the concept of CIVIL open free speech and the discussion that fleshes out ideas. When commenting and participating in the OPEN discussion on this thread all comments MUST NOT CONTAIN personal threats, baiting, name calling, or other anti-social words fomenting hate, violence or destruction. Our host Wolfm00n has strict rules about that.
Fellow tree dweller, the late Wheatie, gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:
No food fights.
No running with scissors.
If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone
Please, stock up on blanks for celebratory gunfire, be ready to swing from the chandeliers…and no messing with the nuclear weapons.
Please remember to remain locked and loaded and ready for trouble should the insurrectionists try to invade your space.
Those who have things to say that do not fit the generally accepted limits of “civil” discussion, Wolf has provided a venue known as the UTree. You’re welcome to visit over there and say hi to anyone hanging out over there. The “Rescue Thread” is also over there. In the event a rendezvous of the tree is needed, please check it out, as well as the newest rescue venue.
Auntie DePat’s requests:
If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.
The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.
Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.
One other vital note:
Please, review these rules that our host Wolfm00n outlined toward the beginning of the growth of the tree itself. it won’t take long.
2“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” 3With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. 4And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name; make known his deeds among the nations, proclaim that his name is exalted. 5“Sing praises to the LORD, for he has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth. 6Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.
Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.
And…members of the QTree who no longer participate for one reason or another.
We are getting ready to experience a level of evil that will be hard to comprehend. Stay strong. Be prepared.
It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.
In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.
A word to the wise: In my opinion, it’s usually best to ignore the drama, haters and shills. They want you to react to them and when you do you are playing exactly into their hands. This is exactly what the enemy wants. He wants to disrupt your peace and cause you to make missteps. There’s nothing that enrages an enemy more than when none of their attacks shake you at all. You’re living above the clouds and all they can do is shake and wring their hands to no avail. You can apply this to many areas of your life. A calm and cool demeanor will alleviate much suffering.
What’s strange is that FOX News reported on AG Brnovich’s letter on Friday, but, as both Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips confirmed, FOX News never reached out to True The Vote for comment on these defamatory and (somehow) criminal referrals made by the Attorney General’s Office in Arizona.
“This is a real thing. And there is going to be a f—ing war coming November 3rd over this stuff,” the operative, who spoke to the New York Post on the condition of anonymity, explained. “If they knew how the sausage was made, they could fix it.”
The whistleblower described himself as a Bernie Sanders supporter and said he chose to come forward a couple months before the election in the hopes that election officials will beef up security.
The operative explained that the ballots themselves were easy to reproduce and feature no security features. He would put them into a copy machine and make his own. However, the return envelopes are “more secure than the ballot,” so he procured them from legitimate voters by canvassing neighborhoods with other staff members and convincing voters to give them their completed ballots.
This is really all we need to know about the continued hysteria over January 6 and the government’s fishing expedition relating to some files Trump was keeping at Mar-a-Lago without permission from ideologically compromised librarians at the National Archives. The apparatchiks in the permanent administrative state see Trump not as a threat to democracy, as they claim, but as a threat to themselves and their power. While the bureaucrats have made significant inroads under the lawless Biden regime, they have not, at least not yet, been able to make Trump and the people he represents go away. This terrifies and angers them. As long as dissent is a possibility, they won’t be satisfied.
The regime mouthpiece, Washington Post, expressed the anxiety of the nomenklatura in a recent hand-wringing screed depicting the doomsday scenario of Trump’s restoration. What more could Trump possibly do, after winning an election he wasn’t supposed to win in 2016 and then almost stealing another with help from QAnon, to harm “Our Democracy™”? Well, he could install “loyalists” in the federal government (as opposed to the disloyal bureaucrats from his last administration who went on TV to testify against him in partisan show trials). He could “politicize the FBI” with “endless” investigations into his opponents. Just imagine! A president using the justice system as a political weapon? That would be shocking.
In reality, the GOP as a whole and most candidates are very much in command of this election. It’s for that reason that anyone who supports Republican candidates should do everything in their power to not only vote (in person, of course) but to get as many friends and family to do the same. There are three major ways the election can be salvaged for the Democrats and all three are in play. We have to pretend like we’re about to be dealt a massive defeat and voting is the only way to extend the life of the United States of America.

Of course, this does not mean committing felonies, but standing up to the forces that want to tear this nation – and humanity apart. The very people XVII told us will be destroyed by the time this movie comes to an end are currently roaming the halls of power…supposedly. It’s a sickening sight.
The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out. There is also a “rescue” thread there for members of the Tree to rendezvous if the main site goes kablooey. A third site has been added for site outages of longer duration.

By now, I have learned to keep my reactions pretty close to my chest. There is such a thing as reacting too soon before more information is released, and it’s easy to make assumptions if you don’t see the whole picture. There’s power in observation.
1After this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to come. 2And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. 3Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. 4Carry no purse, no bag, no sandals; and salute no one on the road. 5Whatever house you enter, first say, `Peace be to this house!’ 6And if a son of peace is there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not, it shall return to you. 7And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages; do not go from house to house. 8Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you; 9heal the sick in it and say to them, `The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

WASHINGTON, D.C. — With holiday festivities gearing up in the nation’s capital, sources in the White House confirmed that First Lady Jill Biden has chosen her Halloween costume, which will include a white lab coat and stethoscope to make her look like a real doctor.
“Jill Biden has always been a style icon, and this year’s selection of a costume that makes her look like an actual doctor is just stunning,” said Lomble Von Blegnio, Editor-in-Chief of VOGUE. “It almost looks totally convincing — like she’s a real physician who heals people! Amazing!”
The women wears clothing reminiscent of table cloths and upholstrey. A white lab coat would be an improvement.
This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).
And indeed, it’s Monday…again.
But we WILL get through it!
We’ll deal with any obstacles as needed…..
We may have a bit of fun…..
Maybe a bit too much fun!

Boilerplate, more or less, but worth reading again and again, if only for the minor changes, and to stay out of moderation.
The bottom line is Free Speech. Theories and ideas you don’t agree with must be WELCOME here, and you must be part of that welcoming. But you do NOT need to be part of any agreement.
Bottom line – respect other people’s FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS.
Our only additional requirement is that you do so NICELY. Or at least try to make some effort in that direction.
SO….. [ENGAGE BOILERPLATE…..]
We must endeavor to persevere to love our frenemies – even here.
Those who cannot deal with this easy requirement will be forced to jump the hoops of moderation, so that specific comments impugning other posters and violating the minimal rules can be sorted out and tossed in the trash.
In Wheatie’s words, “We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”
That includes the life skill of just ignoring certain other posters.
We do have a site – The U Tree – where civility is not a requirement. Interestingly, people don’t really go there much. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in an “argument” that can’t really stay civil, please feel free to “take it to the U Tree”. The U Tree is also a good place to report any technical difficulties, if you’re unable to report them here. Please post your comment there on one of Wolf’s posts, or in reply to one of Wolf’s comments, to make sure he sees it (though it may take a few hours).
We also have a backup site, called The Q Tree as well, which is really The Q Tree 579486807. You might call it “Second Tree”. The URL for that site is https://theqtree579486807.wordpress.com/. If this site (theqtree.com) ever goes down, please reassemble at the Second Tree.
If the Second Tree goes down, please go to The U Tree, or to our Gab Group, which is located at https://gab.com/groups/4178.
We also have some “old rules” and important guidelines, outlined here, in a very early post, on our first New Year’s Day, in 2019. The main point is not to make violent threats against people, which then have to be taken seriously by law enforcement, and which can be used as a PRETEXT by enemies of this site.
In the words of Wheatie, “Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”
A Moment of Prayer
Our policy on extreme religious freedom on this site is discussed HERE. Please feel free to pray and praise God anytime and anywhere.
Thus, please pray for our real President, the one who actually won the election.
You may also pray for our nation, our world, and even our enemies.
Musical Interlude
In honor of dear Wheatie, we now present some music to soothe, inspire, invigorate, or relax.
Or amaze, drop the jaw, or roll the eye.
This time, some Lucinda Williams, whose music I still thank Smiley for introducing me to.
Now, here’s ANOTHER special treat I stumbled upon. This is Lucinda before all the “living” took its toll. Just take a listen. WOW.
My advice is stop on that video. THAT is some good music. 1981.
But for you musical diehards, we can move on to some deep trivia.
After speaking of a “toll”, I went looking for a nearly unknown post-Devo Ohio band called “The Toll” which did a very weird and “so PC it’s not PC” style of narrative vocals back in the late 80s and early 90s, but could only find a very limited record of their existence. Here is an example.
This band actually got signed to a major label, but never came through with a publicly recognized album. To understand why this band couldn’t make it, just read the Wikipedia entry, and watch this video.
In the process of finding THAT, I accidentally found THIS – an album called “The Toll”, by an Austrian metal band called “Dusk”.
It sounds tight but……. FAMILIAR.
I think that’s enough music for a Monday!
That will be $2.50 in quarters, please!
Call To Battle
Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.
And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.
Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the DayYear Week:
puberty blocker
compound noun
Puberty blockers, also called puberty inhibitors or hormone blockers, are medicines used to postpone puberty in children. The most commonly used puberty blockers are gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists, which suppress the production of sex hormones, including testosterone and estrogen.[1][2][3] In addition to their various other medical uses, puberty blockers are used for transgender children to delay the development of unwanted sex characteristics,[4] so as to allow transgender youth more time to explore their identity.[5]
Little is known about the long-term side effects of hormone or puberty blockers in children with gender dysphoria. Although puberty blockers are known to be safe and physically reversible treatment if stopped in the short term, it is also not known whether hormone blockers affect the development of factors like bone mineral density, brain development and fertility in transgender patients.[24][25][26][27]
Puberty blockers have not received FDA approval for use on children who are transgender.[17] The practice of off-label prescription is common in children’s medicine, and does not indicate an improper, illegal, or experimental use of medicine.[28] According to Dr Brad Miller, pharmaceutical companies that make puberty blocker drugs for children with gender dysphoria have refused to submit them for FDA approval because doing so would cost too much money and “because (transgender treatment) was a political hot potato.”[17]

In the QTree, we’re a friendly and civil lot. We encourage free speech and the open exchange and civil discussion of different ideas. Topics aren’t constrained, and sound logic is highly encouraged, all built on a solid foundation of truth and established facts.
We have a policy of mutual respect, shown by civility. Civility encourages discussions, promotes objectivity and rational thought in discourse, and camaraderie in the participants – characteristics we strive toward in our Q Tree community.
Please show respect and consideration for our fellow QTreepers. Before hitting the “post” button, please proofread your post and make sure you’re addressing the issue only, and not trying to confront the poster. Keep to the topic – avoid “you” and “your”. Here in The Q Tree, personal attacks, name-calling, ridicule, insults, baiting, and other conduct for which a penalty flag would be thrown are VERBOTEN.

“All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away” (Isaiah 64:6). This passage is often used as a proof text to condemn all our acts of goodness as nothing more than “filthy rags” in the eyes of God. The context of this passage is referring specifically to the Israelites in Isaiah’s time (760—670 B.C.) who had strayed from God. Isaiah was writing concerning his nation and their hypocrisy. Yet he includes himself in the description, saying “we” and “our.” Isaiah was redeemed and set apart as a prophet of God, yet he saw himself as part of a group that was utterly sinful. The doctrine of total depravity is taught clearly elsewhere in Scripture (e.g., Ephesians 2:1–5), and the illustration of Isaiah 64:6 could rightly be applied to the whole world, especially given Isaiah’s inclusion of himself in the description.
The term “filthy rags” is quite strong. The word filthy is a translation of the Hebrew word iddah, which literally means “the bodily fluids from a woman’s menstrual cycle.” The word rags is a translation of begged, meaning “a rag or garment.” Therefore, these “righteous acts” are considered by God as repugnant as a soiled feminine hygiene product.
As Isaiah wrote this, the Israelites had been the recipients of numerous miraculous blessings from God. Yet they had turned their backs on Him by worshiping false gods (Isaiah 42:17), making sacrifices and burning incense on strange altars (Isaiah 65:3–5). Isaiah had even called Jerusalem a harlot and compared it to Sodom (Isaiah 3:9). These people had an illusion of their own self-righteousness. Yet God did not esteem their acts of righteousness as anything but “polluted garments” or “filthy rags.” Their apostasy, or falling away from the law of God, had rendered their righteous works totally unclean. “Like the wind, [their] sins were sweeping them away” (Isaiah 64:6). Martin Luther said, “The most damnable and pernicious heresy that has ever plagued the mind of man is that somehow he can make himself good enough to deserve to live forever with an all-holy God.”
Though self-righteousness is condemned throughout the Bible (Ezekiel 33:13; Romans 3:27; Titus 3:5), we are, in fact, commanded to do good works. Paul explained that we cannot do anything to save ourselves, but our salvation comes only as a result of God’s grace (Ephesians 2:8–9). Then he proclaimed that “we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10; see also 2 Corinthians 3:5).
Our salvation is not the result of any of our efforts, abilities, intelligent choices, personal characteristics, or acts of service we may perform. However, as believers, we are “created in Christ Jesus for good works”—to help and serve others. While there is nothing we can do to earn our salvation, God’s intention is that our salvation will result in acts of service. We are saved not merely for our own benefit but to serve Christ and build up the church (Ephesians 4:12). This reconciles the seeming conflict between faith and works. Our righteous acts do not produce salvation but are, in fact, evidence of our salvation (James 1:22; 2:14–26).
In the end, we must recognize that even our righteous acts come as a result of God within us, not of ourselves. On our own, our “righteousness” is simply self-righteousness, and vain, hypocritical religion produces nothing more than “filthy rags.”
But He [Jesus the Messiah] was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11.
I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!” Revelation 5:11-13
Revelation 4:10–11 is part of the vision Jesus gave John. In this scene of heaven, we see that “the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: ‘You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.’”
Jesus promised various rewards for those who faithfully serve Him on earth (Matthew 5:12; 1 Corinthians 3:14; Revelation 22:12). Some of those rewards are crowns (James 1:12; 1 Peter 5:4; Revelation 3:11). These may be the crowns that John saw the elders lay at the feet of Jesus. In their words of worship, they indicate that, despite what they may have done on earth to earn these crowns, only Jesus is truly worthy of glory and honor. In the presence of the Lord Jesus Himself, all good deeds we have done will pale to insignificance in comparison. A crown will seem but a trivial gift to present to the One who gave His life for us (Galatians 2:20).
The elders’ response is most likely the way we will all respond when we receive our reward from Jesus. We will be so overcome with gratitude because of what He has done for us that worship will be spontaneous. Regardless of what we endured on earth, a priceless crown will seem a paltry offering, but it will be the best gift we can give Him. Although the Scriptures do not state it specifically, it is likely that we will all follow the example of the twenty-four elders in casting our crowns at Jesus’ feet.
*Or whoever has his hand rammed up that meat puppet’s ass.
Brandon (which I will use as a term for whoever is the power behind the Porcelain Throne) has thrown down the gauntlet…but in a way where most of America will never see it. The networks didn’t carry his tirade. CNN air brushed it (or whatever you call editing the red background) for its five viewers (who aren’t trapped in airports).
Luckily for me I live in Colorado, and therefore, despite my best efforts, I probably didn’t vote for Donald Trump.
Of course, for this purpose who I actually did try to vote for will be essential, and they undoubtedly know.
Come and get us, asswipes!
Small Government?
Many times conservatives (real and fake) speak of “small government” being the goal.
This sounds good, and mostly is good, but it misses the essential point. The important thing here isn’t the size, but rather the purpose, of government. We could have a cheap, small tyranny. After all our government spends most of its revenue on payments to individuals and foreign aid, neither of which is part of the tyrannical apparatus trying to keep us locked down and censored. What parts of the government would be necessary for a tyranny? It’d be a lot smaller than what we have now. We could shrink the government and nevertheless find it more tyrannical than it is today.
No, what we want is a limited government, limited not in size, but rather in scope. Limited, that is, in what it’s allowed to do. Under current circumstances, such a government would also be much smaller, but that’s a side effect. If we were in a World War II sort of war, an existential fight against nasty dictatorships on the brink of world conquest, that would be very expensive and would require a gargantuan government, but that would be what the government should be doing. That would be a large, but still limited government, since it’d be working to protect our rights.
World War II would have been the wrong time to squawk about “small government,” but it wasn’t (and never is) a bad time to demand limited government. Today would be a better time to ask for a small government–at least the job it should be doing is small today–but it misses the essential point; we want government to not do certain things. Many of those things we don’t want it doing are expensive but many of them are quite eminently doable by a smaller government than the one we have today. Small, but still exceeding proper limits.
So be careful what you ask for. You might get it and find you asked for the wrong thing.
Political Science In Summation
It’s really just a matter of people who can’t be happy unless they control others…versus those who want to be left alone. The oldest conflict within mankind. Government is necessary, but government attracts the assholes (a highly technical term for the control freaks).
A Few Things We Cannot Blame on His Fraudulency
I am pretty sure Joe Biden had nothing whatsoever to do with the 30 Years War that ran from 1618-1648 and probably killed about a third of the people then living in what is now Germany.
Nor did he cause the collapse of either Roman empire (Western, 476 CE, Eastern 1453 CE). Nor the ignominious failure of most of the Crusades. Nor the collapse of Bronze Age civilization around 1200 BCE (including the collapse of the Minoans and the blowup of Santorini).
However, my utter lack of ability to imagine how he could possibly be responsible for these things is not a valid argument against them, so I await correction if appropriate.
His Truth?
Again we saw an instance of “It might be true for Billy, but it’s not true for Bob” logic this week.
I hear this often, and it’s usually harmless. As when it’s describing differing circumstances, not different facts. “Housing is unaffordable” can be true for one person, but not for another who makes ten times as much.
But sometimes the speaker means it literally. Something like 2+2=4 is asserted to be true for Billy but not for Bob. (And when it’s literal, it’s usually Bob saying it.) And in that sense, it’s nonsense, dangerous nonsense. There is ONE reality, and it exists independent of our desires and our perceptions. It would go on existing if we weren’t here. We exist in it. It does not exist in our heads. It’s not a personal construct, and it isn’t a social construct. If there were no society, reality would continue to be what it is, it wouldn’t vanish…which it would have to do, if it were a social construct.
Now what can change from person to person is the perception of reality. We see that all the time. And people will, of course, act on those perceptions. They will vote for Trump (or try to) if their perception is close to mine, and vote against Trump (and certainly succeed at doing so) if their perception is distant from mine (and therefore, if I do say so, wrong). I have heard people say “perception is reality” and usually, that’s what they’re trying to say–your perception of reality is, as far as you know, an accurate representation of reality, or you’d change it.
But I really wish they’d say it differently. And sometimes, to get back to Billy and Bob, the person who says they have different truths is really saying they have different perceptions of reality–different worldviews. I can’t argue with the latter. But I sure wish they’d say it better. That way I’d know that someone who blabbers about two different truths is delusional and not worth my time, at least not until he passes kindergarten-level metaphysics on his umpteenth attempt.

Everything is down for the week. Bigtime. The recovery we saw last week appears to have been temporary.
If inflation is truly about to take off, this is a buying opportunity. But if inflation actually gets squelched…it’s not. Your call. I’m just glad I bought so long ago that the chances of my losing money are slim.
The “free press,” in other words, has always been filled with information “gatekeepers” no less corruptible than any other humans and just as capable of intentionally keeping the public in the dark as they are of letting in some occasional light. For what it’s worth, Clinton’s worries were warranted, and a complete unknown named Matt Drudge nearly took down his presidency with a story about a stained blue dress that several prestige news outlets had refused to cover. The somewhat secret war over information would never be the same.
While we watch government-induced censorship increasingly squeeze the free flow of information today, it is easy to throw up our hands in despair and presume that the light of freedom will inexorably dim. I encourage you instead to see government-engineered threats to free speech as further evidence that both totalitarianism and freedom are on the march. Powerful institutions do not work this hard to silence voices unless they are deeply afraid. The push for control is inextricably linked to the perception of fear. The harder that authorities push to control what we say, the more clearly they reveal their own fear. This is a sign of weakness.
But I was wrong as far as the warring ideologies. That may well arise in the distant future. Right now, and for the foreseeable future, the transnational actors are only making war—a cold, subversive, war—against the nation-state and not each other. The World Economic Forum represents the moment the transnationals found their ideology for the present struggle. It’s a single, uniform ideology, made to order to finally wrest sovereignty away from the nation-state. I’m referring of course to the left/progressive/neo-Marxist amalgam of climate emergencies, critical race theory, and the familiar diversity-equity-inclusion and environmental-social-governance platforms.
When he was born, the then more than 800-year-old war against Islam — or rather defense against jihad — was at an all-time high. In 1453, when Columbus was two years old, the Turks finally sacked Constantinople, an atrocity-laden event that rocked Christendom to its core.
Over the following years, Muslims continued making inroads deep into the Balkans, leaving much death and destruction in their wake, with millions of Slavs enslaved. (Yes, the two words are etymologically connected, and for this very reason.)
On Thursday evening Trump Taylor Budowich, the Director of Communications for Save America and Donald J. Trump, released a statement on the continued harassment of President Donald J. Trump.
Taylor Budowich: Today, 26 days before the Midterm Elections, America is truly a nation in decline. Inflation is out of control, the crime rate is at an all time high, and the crisis at our southern border has never been worse. However, instead of using their final days in power to make life for Americans any better, Democrats are doubling and tripling down on their partisan theatrics. Democrats have no solutions and they have no interest in leading our great nation. They are simply bitter, power hungry & desperate. Pres Trump will not be intimidate by their meritless rhetoric or un-American actions. Trump-endorsed candidates will sweep the Midterms, and America First leadership & solutions will be restored. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
OT, Sundance is delivering the doom and gloom on the economy.

This looks an awful lot like the president of the United States threatening to remove weaponry from a purported ally unless that ally performs actions that help that president politically in advance of an election. Wasn't Trump impeached for that?
The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out. There is also a “rescue” thread there for members of the Tree to rendezvous if the main site goes kablooey. A third site has been added for site outages of longer duration.
This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.
Fellow tree dweller the late Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:
No food fights.
No running with scissors.
If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
And Auntie DePat’s requests:
If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

1In the meantime, when so many thousands of the multitude had gathered together that they trod upon one another, he began to say to his disciples first, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. 3Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. 4“I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear him! 6Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol™ may have stopped broadcasting on prime-time television, but sources reveal the committee is alive and well behind closed doors with an audience of stuffed animals and action figures they arranged in chairs.
“The committee holds hearings almost daily,” explained a congressional aide while adjusting a Cabbage Patch doll on a leather chair. “I have to rearrange the seats constantly to reflect a ‘living’ audience. Rep Kinzinger is adamant that the proceedings appear as realistic as possible.”
According to sources, witnesses are often called to testify before the committee. Stuffed animals are often used to represent members of the Trump family. The committee has also seen fit to subpoena members of the elite G.I. Joe corps for a military perspective.
