Dear KMAG: 20250414 Trump Won Three Times ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden never won. This is our Real President – 45, 46, 47.

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And yes, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

We will always remember Wheatie,

Pray for Trump,

Yet have fun,

and HOLD ON when things get crazy!

We will follow the RULES of civility that Wheatie left for us:

Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And while we engage in vigorous free speech, we will remember Wheatie’s advice on civility, non-violence, and site unity:

“We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

“Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

If this site gets shut down, please remember various ways to get back in touch with the rest of the gang:

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week:

wheep

noun, verb

  • sound made by a steel weapon when drawn from a sheath
  • to whistle weakly
  • a high-pitched sound, or to make that sound
  • a cry or squeal, or to cry or squeal

A video definition

MUSIC!

No such band as “The Wheepers”, and some dude named Wheeler can’t sing without cussing hard, but then I found this!

THE STUFF

SO – for “Action April” we will take two weeks to study something Steve likely mentioned earlier – the Principle of Least Action.

Here is the first of TWO videos covering the topic.

So what the heck is “action”? Do you feel like you understand it?

Just sayin’!

And remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

And as always….

ENJOY THE SHOW

Merry Monday Morning to y’all. 😍

Kurt may be living in a dream world of idealistic reverie, not just for a time gone by, but for a time that never was.

He may have lived it, and lots of others too, but I doubt any Leftists ever did. He just thought they did.

And I don’t know if Kurt can grasp that.

They’ve been subverting and undermining our country since the McCarthy era (if not earlier). That’s not an accident, it’s a choice. A choice of betrayal.

So as usual, our side plays it straight, and their side plays it dirty, and our side always gives their side the benefit of the doubt, which means we’re always trying to dig ourselves out of a hole.

It reminds me of American Democrats who self-identify as Christians.

How does one do that?

How does an American, who purports to be a Christian, vote for the God-hating, America-hating, Constitution-hating, baby-murder loving Party of Sodom & Gomorrah?

I’d love to know the answer to that. I would love to know how they intend to explain that to Jesus at the Judgment.

It’s not even arguable that the Democrat Party isn’t all of those things and much more besides. We could add tranny-loving, child-trafficking loving, peed0-loving, drag-queen loving, homo sex-loving, corruption-loving and a bunch more.

The Democrat Party has literally defined itself against God, against God’s Word, against America and against the Constitution.

It’s not hyperbole, it’s all out in the open. It’s de facto.

It’s so over-the-top that I’m not sure they’re even human anymore, much less American.

It’s as if we walk among literal demons.

Sometimes I think it is even worse and those who do vote dem do so only because that’s their political team, like a football or baseball team, and that’s all they bother to notice. Gak! Willful ignorance.

TradeBait2

Spot on.

TradeBait2

Excellent post – I completely agree. We are walking among literal demons.

I have never understood how a “good Catholic” or “good Protestant whatever” could support and vote for a Democrat. Their party platform is openly distributed and stated along with their words and actions that verify. It tells me the people who do so are not really believers. They are cultural, self proclaimed Christians who are doing the will of Satan; many without having a clue they are doing so and on the road to Hell.

Robert Baker

I have never understood how a “good Catholic” or “good Protestant whatever” could support and vote for a Democrat.

There are many expressions of human behavior I do not understand. Just the way of things I suppose. A quick story: My spouse, sometime around the turn of the century, went with a tour group to England to tour the house and environs of CS Lewis. Yes, that CS Lewis. During that trip she had a conversation with one of the group from Texas. This lady left a deep impression on my spouse. The highlight of the exchange was a single statement from this Texan which was etched into memory, “I am a Democrat because I am a Christian.” Now ask yourself this question: “How do you get through to such a person?”

Just as a point of interest, my spouse enjoyed the trip immensely and actually spent a night in CS Lewis’s house; I think in Warren Lewis’s old bedroom.

pgroup2

Would pics of a dismembered late term abortion baby do it?

Robert Baker

I wasn’t there but from the report I doubt it would.

pgroup2

That is sad. 😥

TheseTruths

“I am a Democrat because I am a Christian.”

Some people think the “love” part of being a Christian means you take in people from all over the world and “love” them into nice behavior. In the past, people have thought the Dem Party was the party of the little guy and of compassion.

Of course that is a flawed view, and it doesn’t explain support for abortion for me. I have no idea how they can reconcile that with Christianity.

TradeBait2

That would have been an interesting trip minus the comments from the Texas Dem who obviously has mental problems.

Aubergine

“I have never understood how a “good Catholic” or “good Protestant whatever” could support and vote for a Democrat.”

I believe this happens because of a very erroneous view of Jesus that has been perpetuated through our culture. That Jesus “loves everybody” and that “everybody” is perfect with God “just how they are.”

This view sees the “forgiveness” of sin, but ignores the requirement of “repentance.”

The Catholics view repentance as a trip to the confessional, some required penance assigned by the priest, and then they’re good. Until they commit the same sin again, and start the process all over.

The Protestants just seem to ignore the repentance part altogether. They just “believe in Jesus,” as if that will save them from not repenting.

Either path is going to lead to some interesting conversation when they arrive in the afterlife. I know that a saved person is always saved, the Bible says, but it also says that sinners will have to explain themselves to God.

Rosa

My step mother lives in a Catholic senior independent living place. She says most of the people there are democrats and very pro-abortion. She is shocked and can’t understand how that fits with the Catholic faith. Of course most of today’s seniors grew up in an era where one watched TV for news and now in old age that requires the least effort, so mostly they only know what the TV tells them. She also wonders if it could be a kind of unstated racism. Dems are very focused on race. A disproportionate number of abortions are by blacks and without abortion they fear the black population would increase exponentially. Christian? No, but “the heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure…” (Jer 17:9). People don’t often inspect their own hearts.

Aubergine

Your last sentence is the straight truth, and the cause of much misery in this world.

TradeBait2

Yup, that “Go and sin no more”. part seems to get ignored or glossed over, doesn’t it?

pgroup2

Isn’t there a version of come-to-Jesus that involves a heavy boot kicking a butt? 😂

TradeBait2

😀 Yup – thankfully had more than my share. It finally took.

We have an incredible Savior.

All we have to do is acknowledge Him, trust Him as a sacrifice for our sins as the Son of God, and live our lives in the way He prescribes. We make this too hard much of the time. As we move into the relationship and He sees our commitment, things happen in accordance with His will for us.

Example: Our family has been searching for answers for how to handle some of Grandson #1’s sensory and ADHD type issues as he matures. Wifey and I make a point to commit him to the Lord in special prayer just in the last few days. This morning pgroup2 then provides the perfect research article without realizing we needed the info that provides the complete answer for how we are to proceed based on #1’s personal circumstances.

The same things happened with right answers a few years ago with you, Gail and others as we began the journey to healing for #1. That confirmed that I was in the right place with all our fellow QTreepers, that God is at work here.

Amen & Amen…PTL!

pgroup2

I am pleased to play my part. 😍

Gudthots

Paraphrase from 1 John, you have no need of a teacher, the Holy Spirit teaches us. The church teaches that we receive the Spirit of God at baptism. And the Spirit convicts us of sin.

Have we grieved His Spirit to the point we no longer sense the gift of conviction when we sin?

pgroup2

If you keep talking like that, you’re going to annoy a lot of people. Not to mention all the burned eardrums!

Aubergine

It sure does!

Aubergine

Amen!

Valerie Curren

I think the ones that tend toward leftist views try to only focus on God’s love & ignore His holiness & judgement. They seem to be more driven by feelings so because God loves everybody they focus on that love alone. Then those who believe in the social justice gospel, a form of Marxism, get all sorts of things confused, cultural “Christianity” with a veneer of “truth”.

Those people that are even willing to consider His commandments regarding dominion over the earth & its creatures probably twist this into justification for their version of environmentalism & climate justice.

I recently read a “Queer Bible Study” book written by a married to a woman lesbian pastor. She was at least honest enough to acknowledge the verses that spell out the sinfulness of homosexuality but then she basically chose to ignore these verses by focusing on God’s love & acceptance & to conflate His creation, when He called everything He made “good” to God’s assumed assignment of “good” to the fallen world & its inherent sinfulness. She even focused on God’s maternal attributes, as outlined in scripture, & gave justifications for calling God she &/or mother. Cognitive Dissonance was reigning supreme in this “Christian” leader…

Aubergine

Sheesh. How do you read such a thing without puking? Sorry, but I have just had it with that whole community. “Queer” and “Bible study” don’t belong in the same sentence!

Robert Baker

That kind of thinking takes one back to that prophetic saying about the last days, “itching ears”.

2 Tim 4:3–4For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Valerie Curren

So true 🙁

Valerie Curren

100% I agree. There is so much targeting of young people for the LGBTQ+ agenda so I wanted to see how the Bible study was presented in that vein. It was sad that the author kept presenting God & His/”her” love & implying that only churches that accepted these sexually confused youngsters as they preferred to be perceived rather than based on their biological reality were aligned with a loving God.

They actually dug into many scriptures but mostly focused on feelings. It was sad, confusing, disappointing, but not surprising. I came away thinking that the author was attempting to sincerely seek God, to a point, but not wanting to address her own areas of error/sin nor to cause the teens who would presumably be using these materials to closely examine their own lives in light of the totality of scripture to do so either…

I couldn’t bring myself to get quite to the place of “rejoicing that whether from false motives or true “Christ” was being preached”. God will be sorting it all out in the hereafter…

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

It is very possible and quite common to cherry-pick the Bible and the only thing one can do about it (well, other than to decide it doesn’t matter) is try to ensure that they aren’t doing it, themselves.

Valerie Curren

That’s a reasonable opinion 🙂

Aubergine

The message to these children who think they are the wrong sex is simple; God made them. They are MEANT to be what they were made, not what societal pressures, mental disturbance, and faddish trends push them to be.

Valerie Curren

Absolutely!

cthulhu

Interesting, but a mite long. Doesn’t contribute to trust in the medical profession or pharma.

pgroup2

Have you seen any of Gail’s comments?

Sometimes they really push the upper limits.

Aubergine

I skimmed a lot of it (it’s very long). I was left with a question; I get that the cognitive ability of both medicated and unmedicated children remained the same, but what about the social issues? ADHD kids and adults (real ones) are horrible to deal with. The qualifier for me is REAL ONES.

Most kids who are medicated don’t actually have ADHD, in my opinion. They are rambunctious boys who need social training. But kids who actually can not pay attention to what is happening around them are subject to all kinds of social problems. Other kids can’t stand them. They are teased and ridiculed. Teachers are exasperated by them because they are so disruptive.

This subject is close to my heart. My oldest son was and is a REAL ADHD kid. I medicated him after a huge battery of testing, and believe it or not, I would do it again. And if the medication stunted his growth, well, he’s 6’6″. But I found out he had a 150+ I.Q after having him tested because the school wanted to put him in the “slow class.” I figured out that he just couldn’t pay attention long enough for the material to sink in.

This is a complex issue that has been over-simplified by Big Education and Big Pharma collusion. NO child should ever be prescribed meds without EXTENSIVE testing. But that costs thousands of dollars (ask me how I know), so many people don’t do it. It should be required before prescribing, in my opinion.

Gudthots

There are a lot of ways for a developing brain to be shaped in one way or another. After I became aware of the growing numbers of kids with the power of hyper-focusing (the other side of ignoring the teacher, there were just something more interesting to think about), I started to ponder, “what is the gift of this type of brain?” It’s still an interesting question for me to think about.

The video given to us by Wolf in today’s post gives insight into the lives of mathematicians that seem to be examples of minds that are shaped in a way that can focus intensely on a single pursuit.

Thank you for posting that! It has come in very handy for an on-going discussion we have been having with our daughter and SIL concerning Grandson #1, who deals with severe sensory and some ADHD related symptoms.

Like Aubergine’s son he is highly intelligent. However, he is incapable of being in a school environment, so homeschooling has been excellent for him.

The pressure to medicate is strong at every level and as a family unit we have resisted except for one brief period with a non-stimulant that did not work. This report helps in our planning.

pgroup2

But medication DOES work. It just doesn’t work any better in the long run.

However, there are so many variables to raising children that it seems cruel to experiment with the child’s development when we know a way to treat it.

Read the article carefully and go get the source material as well. The link is in the article somewhere.

TradeBait2

With #1 the physician will not prescribe any meds because of his weight – he i very thin and underweight. Which is how we knew we had the right physician since we have several who were quick to put him on high powered meds previously. This physician tried non-stimulant in the chance that it was ADD. We learned it was not and he stopped them.

What we have learned is the root cause of the ADHD type symptoms is the sensory issues that trace to his birth trauma and lack of neuro system development. Jumping to ADHD treatment will not work. He still has occasional sensory induced focal events that was misdiagnosed as absence seizures as an example. in reality they are sensory reactions to stimulus and resulting ANXIETY overloads. He knows something is off and becomes anxious or panics. We had noticed the focal events started five years ago after COVID hit and he had to wear a mask at school.

subsequently we got the neuro system firing right with the chiro and his physical development improved. But the sensory aspect of just eating continues to cause him to be underweight. That has to be the focus now – not ADHD symptoms which are likely to lessen if his body matures and he can get to a healthy body weight.

Valerie Curren

FWIW most of my family have diagnosed ADHD, Hubby, oldest son, special needs autistic son, & daughter. Various interventions have helped, to some degree, including meds…ish…for Hubby meds always need to dosages upped for they don’t maintain effectiveness, which requires increasing doctor’s visits. He therefore chooses no meds (& none of the ADHD family members take meds for the condition nor have they for some years now)…

My oldest son finds that caffeine really helps him to slow down. Hubby has a similar effect with alcohol.

There are sensory-motor activities that can sometimes help the person with ADHD, especially those involving large muscle groups. Taking movement breaks was even something written into Josiah’s IEPs.

There is a lot of material here, some of which Might be helpful:

I hope you might write up your findings again & analyses of how your interventions are making a notable difference. Thanks for ALL that you do! You are an inspiration!!!

I read a book that postulated that ADHD & autism were actually on a continuum. Sensory Integration Therapy techniques that can be effective for those with Autism may therefore also be beneficial for those w/ ADHD.

Wolf Moon and All—

The STOP PRESS post about ARCT-2304 getting FDA “Fast Track” approval is up.
IMO, there may be a sort of “Shadow Administration” situation going on inside the FDA.
And more.
Thank you.

Gudthots

Thank you for this.
It needs to be STOPPED.

kalbokalbs

Off to the article shortly. But first, if I may.

there may be a sort of IS A “Shadow Administration” situation going on inside the FDA.

Fully believe this is across federal departments AND agencies. DoD, DOJ, IRS, HLS…across the federal government.

Hell it is why we can’t get J6 video, even when we have Johnson and Thune.

My hope is, Trump’s Team publicly fires these people, the moment they are identified. Where possible, prosecute them.

TheseTruths

pgroup2

Did Peter intend to imply that some men deserve to have their cars firebombed?

I got the impression that Navarro was calling attention to the lack of recognition by the Left of the good work that Musk is doing. They completely overlook all the fraud and cost-cutting and just attack.

Of course but the precise way he said it gave it an opposite ambiguity.

It’s a kind of hysteria.

Like a witch hunt. Leftists would be perfect witch hunters in a modern day Salem.

These nutters go full-Hitler at the drop of a hat.

For example, it took me years to cut the cable cord, and the only reason I kept it so long was because of Fraud News.

Which did nothing but anger me most of the time.

Besides sports, there wasn’t anything else I watched, and sports (at least pro sports) were all being feminized and politicized too.

I would have Fraud News on in the background whenever I was home, because I wasn’t accustomed to silence at the time, and every time they came back from a commercial break they would play the dramatic ‘breaking news’ music.

It sounded like an incoming rocket striking a giant bell, which would get my attention, as they breathlessly reported some new outrage that would invariably just piss me off.

To the point where I actually canceled cable TV.

I could hardly even believe myself when I did it 😂

But it was great.

I didn’t miss it at all.

It was a relief.

But it took years to get to the point of canceling TV.

Leftists go from full love to full hate almost instantaneously.

The slightest deviation from their extra-sweet purple Kool-Aid doctrine is grounds for being flayed alive.

That’s what they do to their own.

They’re full-blown psychotics.

Not half-blown.

FULL blown… 😂

TheseTruths

kalbokalbs

Smiled a bit.

Also had Faux News on as background noise. Only to realize it was pissing me off, with the phony “breaking news” noise. Along with knowing faux news was, lies.

Sports. Never was a sports buff. But did watch the felons at NFL. Until they went full on stoopid, racist, Un-American.

So after him-hawing about cutting the cable, did so in ~2012.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Able to think clearly.

Internet is all I need.

Background noise these days is mostly music, or nothing at all.

patfrederick

when we built our log home here 20 years ago, there was no phone lines, no cable lines, no internet. we could get those things if we paid, by the foot, for lines to be run from the last place that had service. we live 4 miles from the macadam road and service. so didn’t do that. we purchased a $19.99 antenna from walmart (not a subscription–just the antenna) and it picks up the major stations out of NY and some pbs type ones too. it allows hubby to watch major sporting events if he wants. but mostly we watch dvds of television series we liked–and bonus–no commercials.

kalbokalbs

Yupper.

Our antenna was $29.99 from Wally World. Antenna actually works great. Pulled in lots of stations. Old westerns and old movies is about all I’d watch.

Had the antenna for ~twelve years. Ridgecrest, CA and Dayton, NV.

These days we don’t even have an antenna. Internet only. .

IIRC, your Internet is limited data or something. If your Internet becomes more robust, the likes of Pluto TV and Tubi deliver free movies and TV shows. Staples for DW. As for me, generally music or nothing.

Contemplating Starlink. Only thing stopping me is our damned Internet is fast, very, very rarely burps, AND is cheaper than Starlink…

patfrederick

we are patiently waiting for starlink to be available here. the only satellite plan available here is hughesnet with a data plan.
when we visit my mom for the weekend, I am appalled at commercials they’re airing these days–and the pharma ads? unrelenting. i don’t think i could name a current tv show.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Yeah I can’t help but notice…pharma ad after pharma ad after pharma ad.

Reminiscent of how when I was in CA (It was for work for two and a half years; it only felt like a six year prison sentence), every ad on late TV was about car insurance.

now it’s ” have a hangnail? a stubborn nose hair? does the cat avoid you? you may benefit from this new wonder drug!”

pgroup2

What is your general location, please?

patfrederick

northcentral PA. if you look at a verizon coverage map, we’re in the one dot (no man’s land) in upper PA they don’t quite cover.

our “neighbor” said he is on a waiting list for starlink still…

pgroup2

ThanQ. I am surprised you wouldn’t find Philly stations easier to pull in. Or Pittsburgh. Or Harrisburg.

In my childhood, our family lived in South Jersey. We could not pick up NYC stations even though we were probably closer than you are.

well we were in the truck and could run it over, so i wasn’t scared…lol

Valerie Curren

That’s good, but the concept grosses me out, like when Hubby tells me about the Boy Scout camping trip he was on when they saw a migration of tarantulas, covering the road & bunches of them crunching under the tires of the cars…Yuck!!!

patfrederick

that’s (shuddering) creepy!

when we were building our home, the concrete truck pouring the foundation ran over a rattler in the driveway. when they knew it was really dead, they stretched it out and measured it. 6 ft 3 inches. the next morning it was still there, but someone had come back and taken the rattle off.
there are “rattlesnake” rodeos up here in the mountains–catch (and get this) RELEASE the rattlers in a bag!

Valerie Curren

Wow that’s pretty wild. I’m not (generally) afraid of snakes but would Never want to encounter a 6+ feet one!!! You wear boots when walking about your property?

This is a typical article that argues for due process for illegals and lists some SCOTUS decisions that seem to support it. I think there are nuances within such decisions and that they don’t necessarily mean that people purposely breaking our laws and evading law enforcement can hide until found and brought to trial. This might end up back at the Supreme Court.

https://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/immigration/255281-yes-illegal-aliens-have-constitutional-rights/

pgroup2

Aliens have constitutional rights if they are charged with a crime.

That has nothing to do with being removed [deported] from this country because the feds aren’t charging the illegals criminally.

They are being processed in Admin court. For being here without permission.

That is why SCOTUS held that their only access to the justice system [immigration court is NOT part of the justice system] was through a habeas petition in the jurisdiction where they are being held.

They cannot just walk into a fed district court and sue [like we citizens can].

Notice that Homan and ICE have to knock on the door and ask them to open up. Because they don’t have a warrant. They want these guys out. To get a warrant, the US Attorney has to file charges.

ICE can’t deport the alien because he’s then under Article 3 court jurisdiction. So they just process them administratively and poof! on a plane to CECOT.

Hope this helps.

TheseTruths

Hope this helps.

Yes! Thank you for that explanation. (I think the Left will ignore those facts for propaganda purposes.)

So it’s in the government’s interest to not file charges of crimes because that would place the illegals in the justice system, which would require trials and due process (if I’m understanding correctly). But administrative processing outside of the court system enables illegals to be removed immediately.

pgroup2

Correct. Keep in mind that some constitutional protections still apply. We can’t torture them [8th amendment]. We can’t just grab them off the street and put them on a plane without a hearing [14th amendment].

Also, I’m not sure we can confiscate their property without compensation [some of them managed to buy houses].

But one or two hearings before an admin judge – poof! Yer outta here!

Let me give everybody a headache [and you heard it here first] – the SCOTUS opinion in SEC v Jarkesy might require that those admin hearings are done in a jury trial.

https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/23pdf/603us1r50_7kh7.pdf

patfrederick

what if they got their mortgages in a fraudulent matter?
and can we call their compensation a parachute so that when they’re jettisoned from the airplane, they have a fighting chance?

i got this chipmunk raiding my bird feeder on the deck. the feeder sits on the table right outside where I sit and i can see it clear as day.
I’ve played chipmunk hockey more than once every day since it found the seeds and it’s pissing me off.
I have scooted his little butt off the deck (which is a story high) more than once, but it keeps coming back. hubby laughs as I chase the little bugger around, but he’s been warned NOT to take video on his phone.
i’m open to suggestions.

barkerjim
patfrederick

thanks for this. I should explain that we can’t hang a feeder from any tree. One, we live in a mature woods–no low hanging branches and two, we have bears. In fact, we bring the feeder in at night for that reason–and raccoons–they’ll eat anything they can get their hands on.
And, we have that trap they showed. We caught a chipmunk 3 times and 3 times when trapped, they squish themselves OUT of the cage. I didn’t think it was possible till i watched it!
but that capsaicin thing? that’s worth a try!!

the SCOTUS opinion in SEC v Jarkesy might require that those admin hearings are done in a jury trial.

That would completely gum up the works and effectively halt the deportations!

Jury trial for an illegal…STOOPID on steroids.

true. would a jury of “their peers” necessitate all illegals??

So, define a “jury of their peers.”

Arizona to Remove Up to 50,000 Noncitizens From Voter Rolls After Successful Conservative Lawsuit

All 15 counties in Arizona have now started reviewing and cleaning their voter rolls to remove noncitizens, including nearly 50,000 voters who registered without showing proof of U.S. citizenship.

The lawsuit was filed by America First Legal (AFL) on behalf of EZAZ.org and Yvonne Cahill, a naturalized U.S. citizen and registered voter. AFL was founded by Trump advisor Stephen Miller.

It argued that election officials were not following Arizona law, which requires proof of citizenship to vote in state and local elections. Counties must also run monthly checks to confirm the citizenship status of registered voters.

As part of the settlement, Arizona counties must now work with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to verify the citizenship of voters who didn’t provide documentation when registering…

Arizona currently requires proof of citizenship to vote in local or state contests, while counties must regularly check a group known as “federal-only voters.”

These are about 50,000 people who did not give proof of citizenship when they signed up. These voters cannot vote in state or local races until their citizenship is verified…

Arizona, and particularly its most populous area of Maricopa County, has long been considered ground zero for Democratic election fraud.

The cheating was especially prevalent during the 2020 presidential election and the 2022 governor’s race, when election officials spent days “counting” votes only to eventually declare Democrats as the winners by the closest of margins.

A comment from an interesting article ( https://blog.joehuffman.org/2025/04/13/a-form-of-mental-illness/ ) [h/t Insty] —

MTHead on April 13, 2025 at 10:06 am said:

Mental illness is one way to look at it. And in some people, it certainly comes naturally.

But in most it’s brainwashing. It’s intentionally programmed into them so as to allow a smaller group the freedom to do whatever evil comes to mind without consequence.

As Yuri told us. “Once they’re demoralized, you could literally show them the empirical proofs. And they would still not believe.”

Evil is real, satan is real, and those people that have been programmed are going to follow that program until some trauma snaps them out of it.

Communism is a convenient name for it. And one most everyone today understands.

But it’s been used the world over by evil since humanity started building power structures.

And weapons control is always its first target.

No one wants to get rid of guns. They just want only the few evil people at the top to use them for their own whimsical maligning evil proposes.

Wither those demoralized understand that’s what is going on or not, doesn’t matter.

That’s always where it ends. In someone having the “divine right of kings.”

And the real question is what are we prepared to do to stop it?

We know what our forefathers did.

“There is no law from tyranny that serves justice. Therefor there can be no law restraining the just.”

pgroup2

Brilliantly stated.

Good morning, C&C, it’s Monday! And we’re off to an exciting new week of revolutionary news. In today’s roundup: election integrity wins in Arizona begin paving the road to 2026 midterms; America inks first-and-free Panama Canal deal; Iranian peace talks pick up speed as Trump deploys dickerer-in-chief to Rome; biglaw folding like a pair of Walmart dress slacks; Kennedy’s big science agencies end barbaric animal practices in stunning political reversal; another historic and revolutionary executive order floats by the mockingbird media while it was distracted by a squirrel; and the White House extinguishes Biden’s blasphemous Easter in a single Holy Week.

EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE

Verse of the Day for Monday, April 14, 2025

“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

John 10:9 (KJV)

COMMENTARY FOR JOHN 10

The parable of the good shepherd. (1-5) Christ the Door. (6-9) Christ the good Shepherd. (10-18) The Jews’ opinion concerning Jesus. (19-21) His discourse at the feast of dedication. (22-30) The Jews attempt to stone Jesus. (31-38) He departs from Jerusalem. (39-42)1-5 Here is a parable or similitude, taken from the customs of the East, in the management of sheep. Men, as creatures depending on their Creator, are called the sheep of his pasture. The church of God in the world is as a sheep-fold, exposed to deceivers and persecutors. The great Shepherd of the sheep knows all that are his, guards them by his providence, guides them by his Spirit and word, and goes before them, as the Eastern shepherds went before their sheep, to set them in the way of his steps. Ministers must serve the sheep in their spiritual concerns. The Spirit of Christ will set before them an open door. The sheep of Christ will observe their Shepherd, and be cautious and shy of strangers, who would draw them from faith in him to fancies about him.

6-9 Many who hear the word of Christ, do not understand it, because they will not. But we shall find one scripture expounding another, and the blessed Spirit making known the blessed Jesus. Christ is the Door. And what greater security has the church of God than that the Lord Jesus is between it and all its enemies? He is a door open for passage and communication. Here are plain directions how to come into the fold; we must come in by Jesus Christ as the Door. By faith in him as the great Mediator between God and man. Also, we have precious promises to those that observe this direction. Christ has all that care of his church, and every believer, which a good shepherd has of his flock; and he expects the church, and every believer, to wait on him, and to keep in his pasture.

Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

BE WITH ME, JESUS

Be with me – take not – Your presence from me;
Let Your Spirit dwell – in me – let Him be;
My strength and solace – in turmoil of heart;
From me, Oh Lord – let Him never depart!

Without You, Lord – there is no breath of life;
Without You, Lord – the sorrow – it is rife;
Happiness eludes me – from my soul – it is gone;
Your peace in me – is vacant – totally withdrawn!

Hide not Your face from me – show me Your love;
Touch my heart with Your grace – sent from above;
Abandon me not – in my hour of need;
In Your great love, Lord – I am blessed indeed!

Fill me with your Spirit – right to the brim;
Let not hopelessness enter – faith be dim
Renew me – redo me – all over again;
Today – tomorrow – forever – Amen!

Infuse me – use me – for Your Glory, Lord;
Let me not forget – the truth in Your Word;
Raise me up, Lord – both steadfast and strong;
Be with me, Lord – where You only belong!

Strengthen me – Lord – oh, please hear my cry;
I don’t need to know the what, where or why;
I trust in Your judgment – Your mercy, Lord;
I trust in the truth revealed in Your Word!

I trust in Your Love poured out on the Tree;
I trust in Your Promise to always be;
Faithful and true for eyes that can see;
There for us all – who trust in Thee!

Be with me – Lord – refresh me – renew me;
This pain and discomfort – really threw me;
Jesus, come quickly – come quickly, I pray;
Let this doubt not take hold – unravel – fray!

Oh, precious, incorruptible Blood of the Lamb;
Encompass me – protect me – the sinner I am;
Enthrall me – befall me – change me within;
Blot my sin – from Thy sight – let it begin!

Wherein and where out – let the demon flee;
Far away – to the dry place – let it be;
Confined in the spaces – to do no harm;
To cause no distress – disruption – alarm!

Wash me – and cleanse me – pure white as snow;
Be near me – cheer me – wherever I go;
Lift my distress – give me some rest – I pray;
Be with me, Jesus – and love me Your Way!

PAVACA
Aubergine

I have been thinking about something since a conversation I had a few weeks ago, and with PAVACA’s “stop the press” article this morning, I have to share.

The convo I had was with a local business person who is pretty much on the same page as us here with regards to the whole Covid and vaxx bullshit. The talk we had veered onto the subjest of depop, and she said, “why would they [bad guys] kill off their people? The leftists are the ones who keep taking it!”

That got me thinking, along these lines:

What if you were a “true believer” in the idea that the planet REALLY WAS in danger from too many humans? What if you were NOT a potential dictator who wanted to rule the world’s ashes, but instead an honest dupe, a very rich but ultimately not too bright BELIEVER in climate change, natural disaster, whatever, that was going to kill off mankind?

If you REALLY, REALLY BELIEVED you were “saving humanity” from overpopulation and extinction, would you save the SHEEP, or would you save the LIONS?

Maybe that is what we are missing.

PAVACA

Aubergine
Thank you.
IMO, if one is “saving the lions”, one would also have to realize that lions will fight / kill off, weaker lions. There is only one leader of a pride of lions.

Aubergine

Yes, I know. Survival of the fittest. Which would be the goal, if you really believed your actions were “for the good of humanity.”

Stephen Miller…on the “Maryland father”
FTA

BOOM! Top Trump advisor Stephen Miller just went BERSERK for 3 minutes straight on Fox over the media narrative that Trump must bring home Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador.

Miller perfectly debunked this ENTIRE claim that Garcia’s deportation was an “error.” This entire thing is a MASTERCLASS.

“We won the Supreme Court case. Clearly, 9-0, a district court judge said, unconscionably, that the president and his administration have to go into El Salvador and extradite one of their citizens, an El Salvadorian citizen – that would be kidnapping.”

“That we have to kidnap an El Salvadorian citizen against the will of his government and fly him back to America, which would be an unimaginable act and an invasion of El Salvador’s sovereignty. So he appealed to the Supreme Court and it said – clearly, no district court can compel the president to exercise his Article II foreign powers.”

“DOJ called me after that Supreme Court ruling and they said, this is amazing. We won this case nine zero. We are an excellent standing here. So this has been portrayed wrong for 72 hours in the media.”

“They said the most a court could ever compel you to do would be to facilitate return, which would basically mean if El Salvador voluntarily sends him back we wouldn’t block him at the airport. We would put him back into ICE detention and then he would be deported either back to El Salvador or somewhere else.”

“In 2019, he was ordered deported. He is a final removal order from the United States. These are things that no one disputes. Where is he from? El Salvador. Where is he a resident and citizen of? El Salvador. Is he here illegally? Yes. Does he have a deportation order? Yes.”

“A DOJ lawyer who has since been relieved of duty, a saboteur, a Democrat, put into a filing incorrectly that this was a mistaken and removal. It was NOT! This was the right person sent to the right place.”

“Now some have said, well, but he had a thing called a ‘withholding order.’ A withholding order means you’ve been ordered deported, but an immigration judge is saying you cannot go back to a particular country. Here’s the thing: if you are a member of a foreign terrorist organization, you cannot have a withholding order.”

“Since he’s in MS-13, there is no withholding order. Furthermore, that gang he is accused of being persecuted by doesn’t exist anymore in El Salvador! The 18th Street gang is GONE.”

“So you have an illegal alien from El Salvador. Bill, where are we supposed to send the illegal alien from El Salvador? To what country?”

HOST: Are you convinced he is still a member of MS-13? That was your original charge.

MILLER: “Yes. Do you stand by But here’s the thing, Bill. Yes, but not only am I convinced of it, not only is El Salvador convinced of it. Bill, he’s an illegal alien from El Salvador with a deportation order! So his only options in life, Bill, his only options in life are to be deported to El Salvador or to be deported to some other country. That’s IT.”

From DHS website: “Secure driver’s licenses and identification documents are a vital component of our national security framework. DHS/TSA is committed to enforcing the REAL ID Act, therefore, beginning May 7, 2025, anyone 18 years and older that plans to fly domestically or visit certain Federal facilities will need a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification.”

__________

Wonder how that will stand up to Constitutional challenge.

The (not)Supreme Court has ruled long ago (and multiple times) that Americans have the Right to Travel by whatever mode is common.

Domestic air flight is certainly common.

A ‘license’ is a permission from gov’t to do that which would otherwise be illegal. The classic example being James Bond, who had a ‘license’ to kill.

Domestic flying is not illegal to begin with, so no ‘license’ is required.

Further, no ‘license’ can be required to exercise a Right — including the Right to Travel by whatever mode is common.

So I’m guessing the answer, the necessary loophole, is hidden in the “or another acceptable form of identification” part.

And it’s not a bad idea to get the passport card if you travel much. It is less money and works in the US, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Canada, and Mexico. Not that many of us want to go to Canada or Mexico these days.

scott467

The really interesting ‘acceptable form of identification’ is the family Bible.

It’s part of Common Law. Until the mid 1800s photographic cameras (and practical photography) didn’t exist.

But the need for people to positively identify themselves certainly did.

One of those ways, maybe the primary way, was your name and date of birth written in your family’s Bible.

And because it is part of Common Law, which is a superior form of Law, my understanding is that no civil law can undo or contradict Common Law precedent.

I haven’t checked the passport website recently, but when I took a course that related to Common Law around 2014 (IIRC), the family Bible was still listed as an acceptable secondary form of identification on the U.S. government website for obtaining a passport.

You needed some combination of identification, I don’t remember exactly what it was, maybe two primary sources of ID, or one primary and one secondary, something along those lines.

And the family Bible was still listed, as a qualifying secondary form of identification.

This is bullshit.

Common law is the default, already there, that doesn’t mean a law passed by a leglislature cannot abrogate it.

scott467

“This is bullshit.

___________

How?

Common Law is the superior form of Law. It is the form of law on which our Constitution is founded.

Civil law is the inferior form of law.

This is why civil law always has to make allowances for Common Law, or it doesn’t stand.

Another example is the ‘legal requirement’ for car insurance.

But they had to provide an exception in the law, because holding a BOND was established in Common Law going back hundreds of years.

So to this day, the state cannot force you to get car insurance, which enters you into the whole gov’t matrix, social security number, state I.D., etc.

You can get a Bond in lieu of insurance, thanks to Common Law.

We’ve had this conversation before and IIRC pgroup backed me up.

I’m not going to repeat that whole circus because you insist on being obtuse.

scott467

A) it’s not being obtuse

B) LOTS of lawyers know nothing about this subject, because there’s no reason to teach it in law school, and there’s not much need to know it in a population of sheep who do whatever they’re told

And if lots of lawyers know nothing about it, what are the chances that pgroup would?

The person who taught me this stuff is one of my good friends from high school.

He teaches online courses and gives seminars to police departments about how to interact with citizens who drive a car without a driver’s license or license plates, under Common Law.

And he drives without a driver’s license and without license plates, and has done so for years, since at least 2014 when I took the course, titled “Right to Travel”.

It’s possible he’s lying to me, but I don’t think so.

This is his website, the courses are all listed along the right hand side of the page, click on each one to go to a full course description:

Global Trust Education Network

The main question here being whether Scott’s original assertion, that a legislature can’t write a law that overrides common law, is correct or not.

Is that true?

scott467

They can write whatever law they want, the question is whether their law can withstand legal challenge based on Common Law.

Usually they are smart enough to allow carve-out exceptions, a loophole to do whatever they are trying to regulate, so people can, if they so choose, do it the old way, under Common Law.

Last edited 10 days ago by scott467

I’m asking Pgroup whether you’re full of shit in your assertions that common law overrides acts of a legislature.

Simply repeating that assertion where I am hoping pgroup will answer is simply a jackass move.

scott467

I’m not preventing pgroup from speaking for himself 😂

scott467

Riddle me this.

Something is well established in Common Law.

The legislature comes along, and they pass a law that contradicts Common Law.

Once the law is enacted, a member of the public (or whoever has ‘standing’) challenges the Law, and they go to court.

During the court case, they are going to point out the Common Law precedent.

The legislature can’t just ignore Common Law precedent, after all, it’s Common LAW.

Emphasis on the word LAW.

And you can’t just go passing laws that contradict each other, because that creates legal chaos.

So there has to be a process.

And during that process, whoever represents the Legislature and their cockamamie legislation is going to have to argue why hundreds of years of Common Law precedent should be thrown out the window to satisfy the likes of Nancy Pelosi.

Where is that wrong?

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Legislation supersedes common law. Everything I’ve seen on line (I’ve been checking lawyers and laws school sites) says that yes, common law has the force of law, but it IS NOT supreme over legislation, legislation overrides it. Common law is used when there is no legislation about a particular matter.

If your logic is that it’s LAW so the legislature can’t override it, well you could write the opposite sentence too. What the legislature writes is LAW and thus common law can’t override it. Just typing LAW in all caps doesn’t settle it; we have to find the actual rule being followed as to which one has precedence. And literally everything I’ve seen online indicates that when a statute is present that covers the issue at hand, it overrides common law.

As for contradictions, yes, they’re a problem when they arise. But it’s handled in this case by the rule that (contrary to what you’ve asserted), if there is a statute that governs a matter, IT is used, and not common law.

scott467

It is often confused with Sovereign-Citizenry, and there are some shared concepts, but it’s separate and apart from Sovereign Citizens or any similar ‘movement’.

scott467

I realize it sounds impossible.

I wouldn’t have believed it either, if it was not for a personal friend, a known human being as opposed to some Interwebs rando, who was teaching it.

So I took a course out of curiosity, and it’s backed up with court cases and everything else you could hope for or expect.

And he practices the things he teaches in real life.

And it’s fascinating.

My small amount of research so far indicates that statutory law supersedes common law (where they conflict).

Oftentimes statutory law simply codifies common law (in which case there’s no conflict, obviously) but when the legislators do something different, apparently it overrides. (True in both the US and UK.)

scott467

Which is the higher form of Law?

Which precedes the other?

Can they statutorily write laws that contradict the Constitution?

If not, why not?

Because the (Common Law) Constitution says they can’t?

Why can’t they just pass a statutory law overriding the Common Law of the Constitution, if they can do that to any other Common Law?

Last edited 10 days ago by scott467
cthulhu

Do not confuse the Common Law and the Constitution. Common Law is based on precedent, where the Constitution is written.

scott467

Common Law precedent is written too. Judges don’t just sit around remembering that stuff from hundreds of years ago.

The Constitution is based on Common Law, and was written under Common Law, because there was no other law in existence.

The executive branch didn’t exist yet, and neither did the legislative branch or the judicial branch.

There was Common Law, and the Constitution was written under Common Law.

So if the legislature can simply write laws that abrogate Common Law, why can’t they write laws that abrogate the Constitution?

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

The US constitution is supreme, Federal law is below it, and from what I am seeing state constitutions and state law are below that.

Common law is at the VERY BOTTOM of the stack.

scott467

“Common law is at the VERY BOTTOM of the stack.”

_________

I think that’s what most people think.

And I think most people have that wrong.

For starters, the Constitution is not supreme, even though people are in the habit of saying that.

We the People are supreme in America, which is easily shown by the fact that We the People created the Constitution, and the created is not greater than the Creator.

It is also shown that We the People are supreme in America in the Declaration of Independence, which clearly states that it is both our right and our duty to overthrow a tyrannical government, and that would necessarily include the Constitution the tyrannical government was hiding behind.

It is also shown and recognized in Lincoln’s inaugural address:

………….
“This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it.

Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing Government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it.” — Abraham Lincoln, inaugural address, March 4, 1861
………….
.

The Constitution isn’t supreme just because we say it is, it’s not a magic piece of paper.

It has to be based on something.

That something is Common Law and Natural Law.

Because that’s what there was.

If statutory law can abrogate Common Law, and the Constitution was created under Common Law, making it a Common Law creation, then why can’t statutory law abrogate the Constitution?

Most people think so, because it’s true.

I don’t know why you can’t seem to accept that your friend is full of shit.

Your arguments seriously sound like you are repeating a pre-programmed mantra.

If nothing could abrogate it, what is the legislature’s job then? Other than (not) passing budgets, I mean.

It was around first, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t be superseded. And often was, and has been for centuries, well back into English history.

You might also read the second paragraph of Article VI of the Constitution.

And you haven’t spent any time at all reading his course documents, or listening to the course lectures, or asking him any questions during the course lectures.

I have.

You haven’t.

So now you know why I don’t accept that my friend is full of shit on your say-so 😂

.

“If nothing could abrogate it, what is the legislature’s job then?”

_________

Supposedly to pass laws that redound to the benefit of the People.

Which would include, by default, not abrogating Common Law (or Natural Law for that matter), which is the foundation for our entire system of laws.

The legislatures’ job certainly isn’t to go around abrogating the Constitution, is it?

If not, then why would it be any more the legislature’s job to go around abrogating Common Law?

Common Law and Natural Law are based on principles and concepts that are foundational to our understanding of right and wrong, what the law allows and what the law does not allow, and why.

There are maxims of the Law, like this one from Sir Thomas More, which dates back to the 1500s:

…………………………..
Qui tacet consennire videtur, ubi tractatur de ejus commodo: “He who is silent is deemed to consent.”

The maxim is Qui tacet consentiret: the maxim of the law is “Silence gives consent”. — Sir Thomas More
…………………………….

These concepts play out in everyday life, right now.

…………….
Brave Browser A.I. reply to search inquiry for ‘are maxims of law common law:

“Legal maxims are principles or propositions of law that are universally accepted as just and consonant with reason.

They are part of the general customs or common law of the land and are often compared to axioms in geometry.”
…………….

A legislature can’t just come along and write some half-baked law which ignores legal Maxims and overthrows hundreds of years of precedent in Law that predates the Constitution.

If for no other reason than because all of our laws are (ultimately) based on those same principles and understandings.

There is the Magna Carta, in 1215 AD.

All of these principles and maxims and concepts are the foundation for our understanding of personal rights, of property rights, of free moral agency, of legal expressions of justice (right and wrong), and on and on and on.

Nancy Pelosi can’t come along and just spray paint graffiti all over it and call it a day.

Someone is going to challenge it, and when they do, once it gets to the (not)Supreme Court, the Justices are going to end up, eventually, looking at Common Law, and the other historical documents of Western civilization, because that’s the foundation of our entire system.

To understand common law, you have to go through quite a bit of British history and its perpetually feuding nobles.

Just as an example, I’ll toss in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rough_Wooing .

In the midst of this sort of administrative chaos, let us say that a brewer wishes to set a fixed price with a farmer regarding the next year’s crop of barley. This is going to determine whether both the farm and the brewery survive the coming year.

In such times, it is unlikely the English or Scots Parliaments would regulate such contracts — and, if they did, whether the results of such regulation would be workable.

Further, there might not be exact clauses that say what the Brewer is to forfeit “if half the barley is burned by Catholics.” So the common law produced by judges would fill the gaps.

Such decisions might well refer to other local judges, or even judges from Wales or Cornwall, if the circumstances and reasoning were persuasive. And, like US Circuit Courts of Appeal, sometimes various regions were in conflict over the application of such laws.

But, fundamentally, “common law” is the law that is not “the king’s law”, and is secondary to it.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

is secondary to it.

Indeed

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

If I understand the progression, you had the king’s law and the common law, with the king’s law superior to it.

The colonies were founded and were subject to the king. When they declared their independence the new state governments essentially took on the role of the King (and parliament) in making law for themselves; they had inherited a mass of both common and King’s law. They wrote constitutions which were the supreme laws of their particular state.

When the present US Constitution was adopted it erected another two layers of law (constitution and federal law) above the state laws. And the constitution proclaims itself the supreme law of the land.

cthulhu

There was the King’s law, that was nominally supreme within the domain of the king — unless it made no sense, in which case the next level noble’s law prevailed…..unless it made no sense, in which case the local justice’s law (common law) prevailed, based on custom, precedent, and adjacent law.

Our Founding Fathers were well aware of the the chaos of historic British law and made it clear.

There was a revolution, and the US Constitution reigned supreme. Each state was guaranteed a Republican form of government, so their Constitutions were next.

There is a grey area between Constitutional Law and duly enacted treaties. In general, where a Constitution says X, a treaty may say Y so long as it does not negate X.

Below this is statutory law, enacted by the US or by states. In cases of conflict, the Supremacy Clause favors the US version — but the enumerated powers of Article I, Section 8 limit the conflicts.

Finally, there are conflicts to be judicially resolved not by statute, but by custom and precedent — such is Common Law.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Yeah I forgot about treaties–wedged in between the US constitution and federal law.

scott467

“It would make no difference if I left the insults out.”

___________

So then they’re just gratuitous. Good to know 😂

.

“As I said I’ve poked around. I’ve not found so much as a hint that common law is supreme to statutory law. Not so much as a hint.”

___________

Why would you?

By analogy, is the system — or the Matrix — just going to give you a shout out, and tell you that it’s fake, or wrong, or corrupt?

Did it work like that with Covid, or the vaxx?

Not at first, certainly.

But eventually.

Why is that different?

Because millions of people around the world were forced to focus on it and deal with it and find answers.

How many people are currently compelled, under threat of death, to figure out what I’m trying to explain?

A lot less.

If a few hundred million people were urgently focused on the subject I was trying to discuss, there would be a lot more awareness.

Are you familiar with Law of the Land vs. Law of the Sea, a.k.a. Admiralty Law?

That also has a lot to do with what I’m talking about.

The Law of the Sea has been brought onto the Land, and supplanted the Law of the Land.

.

“Basically every indication I can find is that your friend is simply, utterly wrong, and is either grifting or self-deluded.”

___________

I’m not the course instructor, and I’m trying to explain something I learned about 10+ years ago.

And clearly I’m not doing it very well.

Not that there’s any way that I could, for the same reasons there is nothing I could do to convince you (or anyone else) about Bitcoin.

Or any other thing which our minds are not open to or prepared to accept.

That’s not anything against you, I’m the same way, it’s the human condition.

Ears to hear and eyes to see.

Either we do, or we don’t.

I try to be aware of it, and to make the effort to be open to things I would otherwise reject out of hand, but I’m not sure it really makes much difference, because for the most part, human beings just don’t seem to work that way.

It seems like in order to be able to accept something different or new, several conditions have to be met.

Maybe more than these, these are just some that occur to me based on personal experience and observation of others:

1) repetition – we need to be exposed to something numerous times, before it works its way into our consciousness

2) trusted source – we are more likely to consider something new if we have strong trust or respect for the person saying it

3) need to know – this is a biggie.

Michael Saylor had known about Bitcoin for years, and rejected it out of hand, like most people do at first.

Like I did, for years.

Then Covid happened, and everything shut down, and Saylor had a big problem.

He didn’t know how long the world economy was going to be shut down.

His company had a large amount of cash, but with the Fed printing fiat currency like there was no tomorrow, the value (purchasing power) of his cash was melting before his eyes.

He had been through a similar experience in Argentina (IIRC), where the government basically seized a million U.S. dollars from his bank account in Argentina, and replaced it with pesos which had been devalued.

He was very concerned something similar could happen in the United States, on a much larger scale.

So he had multiple exposures to Bitcoin. He rejected it out of hand.

A set of circumstances occurred that gave him a compelling reason to seek a solution to a serious problem.

He looked at investing in real estate, in gold, in Treasuries. And Bitcoin kept turning up in his research.

Eventually he consulted with someone who he knew and respected who was also well versed in Bitcoin, and he read The Bitcoin Standard, and it all clicked.

Remove any one of those elements, and his company would not have survived Covid.

He would have been bought out (like most of his competitors), in his case at around $5 or $6 per share, IIRC.

Instead, he ‘found’ Bitcoin, used the cash in the company treasury to buy Bitcoin, and MSTR went from a small and dying company to nearly a $100 billion market cap (currently around $78 billion), inclusion on the Nasdaq 100, and the next time it’s updated, MSTR should be added to the S&P 500.

A compelling need to know (or strong curiosity), repeated exposure, and a trusted source of information. Some real person who he respected, who had prior experience, to give him confidence that the new ‘thing’ wasn’t just magic Internet money.

Nobody could have talked him into it or convinced him before those conditions were met.

He had to go looking, and he needed a good reason to look, before he was ready to find it.

There is no short cut that I’m aware of, which is why it seems nobody can convince anyone, of anything, which they are not already prepared to believe.

Which also seems to be the process that Scripture describes.

John the Baptist made straight the paths (prepared the way) for Jesus.

Because the coming of Christ was known, the woman at the well said “I know Messias cometh”, and she was able to accept that Jesus was the Messiah, when He said “I that speak unto thee am he.” (second half of John 4:26, KJV)

Or here, where Paul says “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God
gave the increase.” (1 Corinthians 3:6, KJV)

It’s a process.

The thing about a “revolution” is that old ways are cast aside in favor of new ways.

In many scary instances, this has lead to a “Year Zero”, where common sense is cast aside just to make things new.

In the case of Canada and Australia, there was an independence movement that did not rise to the level of a revolution — and, accordingly, they do not have a Constitution that is supreme law in their nations (and still recognize the monarchy). The US had a revolution where the Constitution was declared supreme.

There was a time in the 1760s when, had Britain backed off and let us have autonomy, we’d have stayed. Franklin was advocating for such back then. Some were still advocating for it even after Lexington/Concord, and there were even some negotiations, but Britain wouldn’t back down enough.

They learned to grant autonomy after that.

Then Trump finished it up. At the end of this one here. Amazing.

scott467

So Blondi threw Trump and Bukele under the bus.

If El Salvador wants to return the terrorist, that’s up to El Salvador, not up to us, and if they want to return him, we would facilitate it. Meaning provide a plane.

Maybe next time she could toss an actual live grenade in his lap 🙄

scott467

Right, but Blondi didn’t need to volunteer that, helping Kaitlin Collins out, confirming that Bukele could send him back if he wanted to and if he did, the U.S. would ‘facilitate’ by providing a plane.

Why volunteer all that? That’s not playing offense. Let Kaitlin do her own homework, if she’s capable.

Because after volunteering that, the obvious next question from Kaitlin Collins is “Well then, why won’t you do it?”

Then you have Bukele and Trump on the hot seat, trying to come up with a justification, at which point Bukele rambles something incoherent about not being able to smuggle a citizen of El Salvador into the United States.

No need to smuggle anyone in if the U.S. would ‘facilitate’ the transfer by providing a plane, and the whole cringe moment could have been avoided if Blondi was prepared to answer like Miller did, instead of throwing a grenade in Bukele and Trump’s lap.

It was my understanding that the Cabinet should defend the President, and deflect cheap ‘n sleazy attacks from barf-bag media, not ‘facilitate’ a clean shot from the enemy by teeing it up for them.

DJT tossed it to Stephen Miller, because he knew Stephen could pick up the fumble and run with it.

Which he did, with ease.

IMO this comes across as Bondi Derangement Syndrome. 😅

I thought her response was appropriate. The media is refining upon what they think the SCOTUS said, and Bondi straightened them out on that by clarifying it. It wasn’t a matter of offense or defense; it was a matter of getting the facts straight.

IMO, Stephen Miller is in a class by himself. He is one of the few people whom I will stop what I’m doing and listen to.

DJT tossed it to Stephen Miller, because he knew Stephen could pick up the fumble and run with it.

Right after PDJT just told Bondi she was doing a great job? I don’t think so. PDJT tossed the question to several people.

Obviously you are going to continue to be her apologist, I wouldn’t expect otherwise.

Yes, notice how DJT reassured her, like a child, saying “and you are doing a great job“, right before he handed it off to Miller to get the job done?

This is a SEVERE case.

scott467

I sure hope you’re right.

And I don’t expect anyone to agree with anything they don’t already believe 😂

MarieUrsula

DJT knows Pam Bondi very well because of the excellent works she has done for him in the past. To be hypercritical of her every move is to call DJT a fool for appointing her. DJT is anything but a fool; hence, I am not quick to disparage Pam Bondi.

MarieUrsula

*work*

scott467

I don’t have anything against her personally, besides her apparent attempt to put an innocent man in prison to satisfy the mob in the Trayvon Martin case, the case which SD documented extensively, and if I understand correctly, put him on the map.

But I will allow that she may have grown and changed and seen the light after being around DJT, because that seems to be what we’re supposed to do.

The problem is that she doesn’t appear to be qualified for the job, and so far, all we have seen is a lot of performance art on Fox News and a lot of emotional rhetoric in press conferences.

That quivering voice, overflowing with emotion, is a red flag the size of Mount Rushmore to me.

It’s the core of feminism. Emotion, emotion, emotion. Everything is justified by feelings and emotion. It’s like fingernails on a chalkboard.

And the continuing sternly worded warnings to lawbreakers in high places — while if you or I did anything like the people she gives endless warnings to, we’d all be in prison drawing lines on a wall for the next 30 years.

No one else I can think of in the Cabinet acts that way, including Kristi Noem.

scott467

“To be hypercritical of her every move is to call DJT a fool for appointing her.”

____________

If she starts making moves that actually demonstrate competence and follow through, I will gladly give her credit.

We have to reserve (and exercise) the right to criticize government, whether it’s our own side or the other side.

That doesn’t mean I think DJT is a fool for hiring her, I don’t know what his motivations were.

All I can go by is what I see, and so far, what I see doesn’t look good.

DJT appointed Bill Barr too.

And Mike Pompeo.

And Gina Haspel.

And Gen. Mark Milley.

Some real beauties, as DJT might say.

Along with Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett, whose rulings are not exactly confidence-inspiring.

Nobody is perfect, and DJT was a rookie politician in his first term, and he was under a full scale attack by the Deep State, the D-rats and the R-cons.

His choices this time seem much, much better.

Except Bondi.

If she was the ambassador to Tajikistan, it wouldn’t be a big deal.

But the Attorney General of the United States is a big deal, and after Jeff Sessions, Rosenstein and Bill ‘Bondo’ Barr, we could really use a warrior at the A.G. position.

If there is any actual hope of destroying the Deep State, it’s going to take a very serious person to go after some of the most powerful and wealthy and connected people in the world.

Is she the right person for that job?

This is the photo she has posted on Wiki:

.

Does that look like a serious person?

Does that visage strike fear (or even respect) into the heart of the enemy?

Every time she goes on Hannity to wag her finger and warn lawbreakers they better watch out (or else! Or else what?), she destroys her own credibility a little more.

Does anyone take her seriously?

The criminals certainly don’t.

They mock her openly.

And that’s not good.

Wow, the difference between Stephen Miller’s response and Blondi’s is like night and day.

Unbelievable.

And as far as I can tell, Miller doesn’t even have a law degree, and he knocked it out of the park.

So we paid for all of it. Now, it goes back to the general fund? Grrrrrr.

I always wondered why the IRS needed a weapons stash. It would not surprise me in the least if the intent was to use federal agencies unconstitutionally against the people, once Dems had complete and permanent power by their evil schemes.

I doubt that selling the weapons and ammo would make a dent in the federal debt. I wonder if some other government agency that actually uses weapons in the course of its duties could use them.

If they have a legit reason for arms, they should call in the US Marshals.

TheseTruths

Which is not what I referred to.

cthulhu

To be sure, I was skipping several steps from your “agencies that have a legitimate use for weapons” to all agencies with weapons.

I take it as given that someone, somewhere, in the Deep State has determined that every agency with weapons needs them for “the greater good.” I just happen to believe that they are incorrect in a particularly self-serving manner. I would start with the military and US Marshals and nobody else at the Federal level should be armed. Not the DEA, not BATFE, not the FBI (what about “Investigation” involves shooting people?), not the IRS, not the FDA…..

That’s not to say that any Federal Agency should not call in armed local assistance, or US Marshals, or the military in appropriate circumstances. But “gun-toting jackboots” are completely incompatible with “servants of the people” — and the great majority of Federal Agencies are supposedly the latter.

Valerie Curren

Hear, hear!

cthulhu

Better they be in the hands of the public.

TheseTruths

Better they be in the hands of the public.

It’s okay for them to be in the hands of the public, but if legitimate law enforcement agencies are going to have to buy weapons and ammo anyway, why not transfer some of this to them?

I realize a mound of red tape might be involved in such a transfer, but this seems like a simple, common sense solution IMO.

Ya think?!

Did Trump Just Confirm The Plan?An Entrenched Enemy Can Only Be Defeated Using Game Theory- Ep. 3618

Obama’s solar electric power plan failed, another scam imploded and the money is gone. China is now halting the minerals. Sometimes you must show the people. [CB] says the quiet part out loud. Trump is weaving in and out of the [CB] system, making sure the transition does not impact the people. The [DS] is having a tough time keeping up the narrative of the deported illegals. The administration said they are not playing the games with the rogue judges anymore. Trump just sent a message to the people of this country. How do you beat an entrenched enemy, the only way is using game theory. This is not another election, the enemy is being produced and will be defeated.

RFK, JR. — SHUT DOWN THE COVID-19 “VACCINES”. NOW.

I don’t know about anyone else, but not one single person I warned about the vaxx has thanked me for warning them, or acknowledged that what I told them was right.

Crickets.

Like it never happened.

MarieUrsula

Alas, I’ve had the same experience. Most have not made the connections yet.

kalbokalbs

Sadly so. Not one.

They admit Covid was farcical. Jabs designed to injure, handicap, kill and Not effective.

Nothing regarding I sent them information with links. All sent politely with an intent to inform, help…

Nothing acknowledged then or now.

scott467

So then this is apparently well beyond coincidental.

There seems to be something psychological going on, once again, this time with regard to how people tend to respond when they discover someone has done them a kindness. In your example, the people in question concede that your warnings turned out to be true, yet they are unable or unwilling to acknowledge the kindness or favor.

Or similarly, someone (in this case, you) tried to warn them against something terrible but the warning was ignored — then the bad thing happened or turned out to be true, and the people who were warned are unable to acknowledge that you warned them.

The question is why.

Not for vanity, not because we want to be ‘thanked’ (though that would be nice), but because the intentional lack of acknowledgment is tantamount to gaslighting, and is indicative of a deeper issue.

They are pretending not to know something. Something which we very consciously and intentionally did (and remember), which they very consciously rejected. The something we warned them about turned out to be very much true, and now they pretend like our warning — and their rejection — never even happened.

We know it did, and they know it, and they know we know, and we know they know we know, but no one will talk about it — which leads us to question and doubt either ourselves, or what we thought they understood from the warnings, or doubt the integrity and honesty of the people we warned, etc.

This internal doubt, which is associated with gaslighting — which is a form of mental abuse — is corrosive to the relationships we have, with the people who are doing it.

Since we can’t know another person’s heart, we can’t know if they are doing it on purpose (which would be malicious, even if that was not the actual intent), or whether it is some kind of subconscious self-protection mechanism, or WTH is going on.

The point is that the inability to understand what is going on leads to frustration, which leads to defensiveness (or lashing out), which leads to anger, which leads to (or at least can lead to) division. Division among friends, and division among families.

It could be simple embarrassment, either that they did not know what you (we) had learned, or it could be embarrassment over how they treated you before they discovered you were right — but it seems like gratitude, and the desire to know ‘what should I do now?‘, would trump embarrassment in a statistically significant percentage of cases, and yet that seems not to have happened.

Suggesting a deeper or more profound psychology may be involved.

And whatever it is, it is most certainly very well understood by professional psychologists, at least those who specialize in IC population manipulation work, because I don’t think any of the psychological warfare perpetrated against We the People is accidental as opposed to by intent, since Operation Covid was launched.

That may sound overly conspiratorial, but if the human psychology and sociology is well understood (and it is), then with enough compute power, it is a simple thing to run tens of thousands (or millions) of scenarios through computer simulation programs, tweaking and optimizing variables for desired results, and then testing on a live population.

They have the knowledge base, they have the technology and the equipment, they have means, motive and opportunity, they have an endless prior history of bad acts, and they have done far worse to us already. So it’s not a matter of wondering whether they could or have or are doing such things. They are.

Without the internet, and the ability we have here to connect with others who have shared similar experiences, we would be isolated with regard to this (and other) phenomenon without any good way to find out whether we were alone in our experience of this phenomenon, or whether it was common.

The ‘why’ is a question we will have a hard time answering because we were the ones giving the warning, not receiving it, so we (in this case, the ‘givers’) are not experiencing the psychology of the situation from the same perspective as the ‘receivers’.

It would require an analogous scenario in which we were the ‘receivers’ to understand the other side of the equation, and at the moment, I am unable to come up with a relevant, analogous but inverse scenario at the life-threatening scale of Covid.

Which is necessary to reproduce a similar but opposite psychological result.

Of course this is 100% true.

It reminds me, tragically, of how as late as the 1970s, reservation doctors would sterilize young Native American women who came to them for childbirth, not only without their consent, but without their knowledge.

NO SANE PERSON would agree that such a thing was ok. But leftists will agree to permanently sterilize a ten year old for their perverse, demonic, twisted ideas.

As a society, we need to SHUN and BANISH these people from our company. I don’t give a shit where we put them, but wherever it is, it needs to be far away from normal people. Maybe somewhere with this lady in charge:

A lot of people thought the Soviet constitution would have been wonderful, if only they actually followed it. (I disagree, base on what little I know of it.)

It comes down to a constitution being no better than the people who have to apply it. They probably did follow a lot of it, in terms of procedures to pass laws, processes, and so on. And the government was certainly organized the way it dictated.

But as anyone who was awake on January 6, 2021 should be aware, you can nominally follow the process but do so dishonestly and railroad things. On paper, Biden won the election and the process was followed.
