We will never forget North Carolina.
In the one year since Hurricane Helene, @USDOT has toured the damage, slashed red tape, expedited I-40’s reopening, and made sure they have everything the state needs to rebuild.
This week, we announced North Carolina $1.15B in additional relief funds — the largest funding package of its kind EVER!
The road to recovery continues, but we will be there every step of the way.

President Trump’s recent comments to Attorney General Bondi are PERFECTLY APPROPRIATE and follow in the tradition of our greatest Presidents/Founders, such as George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Ronald Reagan.
In fact, they all directed specific prosecutions. Like them, President Trump is the nation’s Chief Prosecutor under our Constitution.
As Professor Sai Prakash, a former Justice Clarence Thomas clerk, has written in a compelling law review article, titled The Chief Prosecutor, “presidential control of official prosecutions was not something controversial (or worse yet, contrary to law) … The presidents understood that they were constitutionally empowered to direct official prosecutions. Presidents ordered prosecutions commenced and halted, sometimes doing both in the same case!”
President George Washington ordered prosecutions of those involved in the Whiskey rebellion in 1792 and 1793. But after concluding that two men had not been involved in the Rebellion, Washington directly ordered the Pennsylvania federal district attorney to not pursue charges.
President John Adams personally and vigorously directed his Attorney General and district attorneys to prosecute specific individuals for violating the Alien and Sedition Acts, and in certain circumstances, drop some of those prosecutions.
President Jefferson, who had publicly criticized this law and the Adams’ Administration enforcement of it, reversed course and ordered these prosecutions dropped.
As Jefferson explained in a private letter: “The President is to have the laws executed. He may order an offense then to be prosecuted. If he sees a prosecution put into a train which is not lawful, he may order it to be discontinued and put into a legal train.”
For example, President Thomas Jefferson ordered the arrest of Aaron Burr for treason. Jefferson publicly stated Burr was guilty before Burr was indicted by a grand jury. And Jefferson personally directed the Burr prosecution.
More recently, President Theodore Roosevelt personally ordered his DOJ to prosecute the Northern Securities Company for antitrust violations; President Reagan directed his DOJ to close a criminal antitrust investigation; President Bush ordered his DOJ to conduct a criminal investigation into the Rodney King case; and President Obama directed his DOJ in the prosecution of police officers. These are just a few examples of the norm of Presidential control over prosecution.
Post-Watergate laws that sought to break the centuries old understanding that the President controls prosecutions by creating prosecutors independent of the President are now widely understood to be completely unconstitutional.
No, the DOJ is not, nor has ever been, an independent agency not subject to the control of the President. It is part of the Executive Branch and the AG and all U.S. Attorneys are under the direct control of President Trump.
(In fact, most, if not all, post-Watergate laws and so-called “norms” have been meant to cripple the Presidency. Thank God President Trump is fighting back on all fronts against this assault on the Executive).
Democrats and their media allies gaslight us all by pretending that the DOJ is independent. Joe Biden has always been corrupt and ran his DOJ to attack his opponents, most especially Donald Trump (recall the baseless and outrageous raid on President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago), or protecting his allies and family, like Biden’s utterly corrupt and degenerate son, Hunter Biden.

It is likely that your spoilers had bad HTML inside.
Well it looks like they showed ok in a following comment just by removing the spoiler & adding some strategic “*”s to obscure what had been the spoiler title.

I’m amazed at how people don’t learn. They scoff at America while not realizing the road their tyrant leadership is forcing them to take. The history of America is there for all to see, and yet they won’t learn from it.
I’m starting to realize that one of the motivations for the left pushing “holocaust doubt” is to take away that example, so they can “relax the center” on gun control.
I doubt those “subjects” of said tyranny have been taught anything close to accurate American history.

Here is an example.

The spoiler code leaves text on both the beginning and end lines, and it messes up the spoilers, sometimes. Move the text into the middle, and leave some blank spaces around all the text.
One more point – the HTML in the middle needs to be pristine. If you somehow didn’t copy closing tags, then that will throw off the spoiler. You may have to use the Source Code button { } to edit the HTML and get stuff inside the spoiler tags.
The items I was trying to hide in the spoiler were memes from xcancel. I had cut off everything from the “?” beyond on the image addresses. I also copied an xcancel version of a tweet & in one of the URLs changed “xcancel” to “twitter”…
All of those things are now showing fine in a separate comment after removing the spoiler tags/html before & after. I didn’t modify anything else to let All of that comment show. (the stuff that wasn’t behind the spoiler originally is showing fine in a reply to pgroup, iirc, & that was just copied as is too, fyi)
Which I did, per usual…
It was strange that the entire comment didn’t show but was still completely visible to me with the “edit” widget 🙄
All I did was choose the spoiler & create the title & then added my content, that’s now showing above, with blank lines between the spoiler title & the close spoiler tag & between each item (I always do it that way), I modified Nothing but adding a spoiler title, later I subbed in some “*”s in the title case the title itself lead to suppression, but it still didn’t let it show…hmmm…
Hey Wolf, I bet you can use YOUR Edit capability to look at either of my comments that show Nothing (I can still see it via the Edit accessible to me on the one that’s not been replied to) so that You can see if there is some type of funny business going on (attack on the site in a weird, suppressing some speech, way)…if it helps you fortify stuff in the Wolf Den 😎
I checked – it’s definitely some funkiness in the HTML – probably missing tags from the copy and paste. All the stuff is there, but it can’t show.

That “cut” spoiler stuff I tried in a second comment: 1st as is & it didn’t show; 2nd adding some “*”s to the spoiler title to see if “gun confiscation” was causing that “speech suppression” & it still didn’t show; 3rd I removed the spoiler tags at beginning & end but left the modified w/ “*”s title at the top but made No Other Changes & then it showed here:

My recommendation is that when you copy and paste into a browser that supports it, use “paste as plain text” and then edit that. This way there is no hidden HTML that can only be edited in the “source code” pop-up. What you see will be what you get.

This. I am always left with the impression that there is something a little “off” about Flynn. I have a suspicion, that could be completely wrong, that Flynn is the kind of guy who thinks he knows better than POTUS and would impose his will rather than being a general who takes orders, or an advisor. Sort of like that stereotypical guy in movies who ruins the mission because he is too vehement about his point of view.
Got off the Flynn train several years ago.
Everyone’s experiences affect their actions going forward. I imagine that Flynn was left thinking he was betrayed and abandoned by the first Trump administration. That probably left scars and a certain hesitation to get back up on the horse. However, the advice he is offering puts him squarely in the spotlight to volunteer for the job. We were up in the mountains enjoying the fall foliage on Saturday and there was a “protest” involving 30-40 people near the I70 interchange in Silverthorne. The usual sanctimonious sign waiving and mariachi band music. A couple horns beeped in sport. But there were dozens of cars and the “protesters” were largely ignored.
The thing the Government worshippers are starting to panic about is Headcount Day on 10/1. Schools get their state funding based on headcount. If the illegals leave the country and there’s a “35% drop” in enrollment (allegedly), then that can impact their school funding which is based on a 3-year rolling average.
BTW, if you need another reason to get your kids out of the regular public schools, just know that Headcount Day means disruptive, often violent, students are not booted in the first 1-2 months of the school year. If they boot the kid, the school loses money adding to the problems teachers face in the classroom.
I do love the complaint about the “human cost” of illegals not showing up for school. Like the American kids in the school don’t suffer from worse education having so many non English speakers in the classroom.
Just more proof that the Left doesn’t oppose racism. They’re perfectly fine with their own.

Electronic Arts, maker of video games like “Madden NFL,” “Battlefield,” and “The Sims,” is being acquired for $52.5 billion in what could become the largest-ever buyout funded by private-equity firms.
The private equity firm Silver Lake Partners, Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund PIF, and Affinity Partners will pay EA’s stockholders $210 per share. The companies value the deal at about $55 billion, including debt. Affinity Partners is run by President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
PIF, which was already the largest insider stakeholder in Electronic Arts, will be rolling over its existing 9.9% stake in the company.
The commitment to the massive deal is inline with recent activity by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, wrote Andrew Marok of Raymond James.

The military veteran shooter obviously went off the deep end into rage.
The shooter prepared multiple incendiary devices and a loaded automatic rifle. He intended to take multiple victims and destroy the building. This doesn’t seem to be meant to target an individual, but the whole church building and people as well.
The shooter had a son born with an inherited disease – genetic hyperinsulinism. In one photo, the shooter is shown with his son holding a duck as a trophy on a hunting trip. The shooter is described as a straight up guy who would do anything to help someone.
What would be possible motives for the shooter’s rampage to cause such a wholesale violent attack against that church?
A perceived attack on his wife or son?
A rape or molestation, grooming by a trans or LBGT in the boy’s school or in that church?
Had the shooter or his wife and son visited the church?
Fact – The State of Utah (and thus the Mormon central denomination) embraces the gender theory and transgender surgery, as well as transgenders in women’s sports and locker rooms. Utah has allowed violent transgender groups to operate fairly freely – and even travel to Cuba to train.
The Church’s position certainly led to the death of Charlie Kirk. And that position could also have made the shooter’s family vulnerable to attack of some kind by a predator or groomer.

I have a more than basic knowledge of the LDS church, too. I doubt this guy was Mormon. From the story, it sounds like he wanted to date this woman, who was LDS. He was most likely visited by the missionaries, who told him how things would have to be for him to become Mormon, which he would have to do to date the woman. He said no way, she said no way, too, and he now hates the LDS church.

Converting Brain Signals into Action
Today, 8 million Americans are living with paralysis or have lost limbs. Many could benefit from technologies that would help them carry out daily activities, but high-tech prosthetics or other such devices are not always sufficient to meet these needs, particularly for those who are paralyzed. To improve the quality of life for these individuals, NCATS-supported investigators at Pitt are exploring two different computerized chips that convert brain signals into an action simply through the patient’s thinking about the action.
“The problem has always been the control of the prosthetic by someone with limited ability to move,” said Michael Boninger, M.D.(link is external)
, professor and chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Pitt School of Medicine. Boninger and Andrew Schwartz, Ph.D.(link is external)
, a professor of neurobiology at the medical school, have built a collaborative research program to develop brain-computer interface devices that interpret the brain’s still-intact command abilities and convey them to high-tech prosthetics and assistive devices.
A team of NCATS-supported researchers at the University of Pittsburgh developed a micro-electrocorticography grid that may help paralyzed individuals move again. The device, which is implanted in the brain’s movement-controlling motor cortex (see image inset), helps this study participant practice simple computer tasks using only her mind. A computer system interprets her brain’s electrical impulses captured by the device then converts the signals into movement controls in virtual environments. “There is a really collaborative group of researchers at Pitt,” said Boninger. “It’s a critical mass supported by the Clinical and Translational Science Institute(link is external)
.” The university’s CTSI is one of about 60 research institutions supported by NCATS’ Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) program, which aims to move scientific innovations into clinical practice. Currently, the research team is working in parallel on two devices with unique features. One of these, the micro-electrocorticography (ECoG) electrode grid, is placed beneath the skull and on the surface of the brain’s movement-controlling motor cortex. A computer system interprets the electrical impulses in the brain captured by the micro-ECoG technology and then converts the signals into movement controls in virtual environments. The group at Pitt developed the device as a smaller, less invasive and higher-resolution version of an ECoG grid that is used to monitor intractable epileptic seizures prior to surgery.
“We wanted to accelerate the translation of this into clinical work, starting with what was available and approved for clinical use,” recalled team member and biomedical engineer Wei Wang, M.D., Ph.D.(link is external)
, who is an assistant professor in Boninger’s department and a co-principal investigator of the CTSI-funded pilot research.
“Our first phone call was to the CTSI,” said Boninger. Before each phase of research into their micro-ECoG grid, the collaborators met with the regulatory experts at the CTSI for guidance on the requirements for human research. Wang added, “I think that without their help, it would have been a much tougher route to take, and may not have happened.”
In addition to specialized expertise, Boninger’s research team received two grants from the CTSI to facilitate the project. First, a Translational Tool Pilot Project award to co-principal investigators Wang and Elizabeth Tyler-Kabara, M.D., Ph.D.(link is external)
, assistant professor of neurosurgery and bioengineering at Pitt, made it possible for the team to map out the brain signals corresponding to specific hand movements. The team then worked with patients who were undergoing epilepsy monitoring for a week and were willing to have the experimental micro-ECoG grid implanted alongside their clinical ECoG grid. Using only their minds via the brain interface device, the volunteers practiced computer-screen tasks and a video game.
Building upon this work, Wang received a training grant from the CTSI’s Clinical Research Scholars Program. This grant enabled continued research funding and formal mentorship support from Boninger and Schwartz as well as educational opportunities in various aspects of clinical and translational research. Leveraging funding from NIH’s National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke, Schwartz and Pitt bioengineer Jennifer Collinger are working with Wang to test the micro-ECoG technology with people who have tetraplegia, or paralysis in all four limbs. In this study, volunteers will have more time to master use of the implanted brain interface device, spending 25 hours per week for nearly a month testing their control of computer cursors and assistive devices.
The group also is developing a second brain-interface technology, an intracortical microarray. This device enables the user to control movement with thoughts, but with a higher resolution and potentially greater control than the micro-ECoG because the tiny chip’s 100 miniscule, spike-like electrode probes descend into the surface of the motor cortex. The probes read the signals coming from individual neurons.
Because the arrays are embedded into the brain, this interface device could cause more scar tissue than the micro-ECoG. With support from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Schwartz is leading research using the array in animals paired with a dexterous prosthetic arm engineered at Johns Hopkins University.
With coaching from CTSI and other university experts, the team received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to test the intracortical array in humans. Now supported by the U.S. Department of Defense, Schwartz is continuing his animal model work, and Boninger is leading its testing in volunteers with tetraplegia.
“Our work is a great example of translational research that accomplishes things that we’re not going to get from a pill,” Boninger said. “Support of bioengineering research is an absolutely critical part of the CTSI program.”

‘Go, hunt, kill’: Couple made 277-page hit list threatening police officers and members of church that left them all ‘terrified,’ cops say
An Idaho couple is behind bars after they allegedly sent out a 277-page “kill list” containing names of people, including police officers and their families, whom they wanted to murder.
Jonathan Harms, 43, and his 39-year-old wife Jolene Harms face a combine 120 criminal charges, court records show. They face 20 counts each of first-degree stalking, witness intimidation in a criminal case and witness intimidation in a civil matter. Boise police began investigating in July when it received reports of the Harms’ violating protection orders. The protected parties allegedly received a “large document containing threatening language.”
Jolene Harms reportedly pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charges and was sentenced to a year probation.
Prosecutors say the couple continued talking about their so-called kill list while Jonathan Harms was in jail on the original charges. Local NBC affiliate KTVB reports many of the people on the list are members of a Boise-area church in which the Harms’ were excommunicated. The members were “frankly terrified” that the suspects would carry out their threats as cops recovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition at the Harms home.

Today marks 50 yrs exactly when @janethuckabee & I faced an unexpected challenge. After getting married in May of 1974, I was in my final yr of college and Janet left college to work full-time with the plan for her to finish once I did. We couldn’t afford to both go at same time. In Spring of 1975, less than a year into our marriage, she started experiencing back trouble originally thought to be connected to her work as a dental assistant bending over patients. Months of various meds, therapies & doctors pointed to a disc problem. When it didn’t get better, an orthopedic surgeon recommended surgery to repair what he called a “textbook case” of a slipped disc. The surgery was scheduled for mid-September. The day before, a myelogram was performed to determine the exact location for the “textbook case” of the disc. I was retrieved from the general waiting room at the Little Rock Hospital and taken to a small private room. That is NEVER good news. Good news gets delivered in the big room; bad news is shared in the small private room. The doctor came and his face was as white as his lab coat. He told me that Janet wouldn’t be having the surgery because she didn’t have a disc problem. His “textbook case” was not accurate. He told us she had a tumor in the canal of her spine that was blocking her spinal cord. He couldn’t operate on it but had called a neurosurgeon to come and talk to us that night. That evening, Dr. Thomas Fletcher came to our room. He was kind, gentle, and honest. He saw 2 kids both barely 20 years old & married for barely a year. He spoke with candor but with genuine compassion. He assessed that the tumor was malignant and because it was in the canal of the spine, was likely inoperable. That meant terminal. He would try to make her as comfortable as possible but there might not be a medical option. The only alternative was to do surgery to see if the tumor could be reached, but attempting to remove it would most likely involve severing her spinal cord which would leave her permanently paraplegic. That was the best outcome we could hope for and that was a long shot. Hardly good options. We thought we had our whole lives in front of us. Now we were faced with the likelihood that there was little future for US ahead.
It was 50 yrs ago today, Sept 29, 1975 that Dr. Fletcher performed the surgery. When I saw him walk down the hall toward me, it was several hours before I expected him. I feared the worst. He told me that when he got the spinal canal open, he was able to remove the tumor but he wasn’t sure if she would have any movement or feeling from her lumbar area down. But she survived the surgery and we had to wait to see if she would be able to move legs, and toes. Hours passed as I watched and hoped to see sign of movement. It was evening when a small movement of her toes gave a glimmer of hope.
People from everywhere let us know they were praying. And they truly were. Dr. Fletcher ordered 6 weeks of intense radiation therapy to eradicate any remnants of the cancer. He and the radiologists did say to us that the radiation would render her unable to have children due to the almost certain damage to her ovaries. The dream of having children was erased, but she was at least alive. She would have to slowly learn to walk again building bits of strength over the coming weeks and months. Everyday for 6 weeks, I would drive the 150 miles round trip from our little $40 a month duplex apartment to Little Rock for 6 minutes on the radiation table. I made a bed in the backseat of the car where she would ride as she couldn’t sit. We would leave at 5am each day and return in time for me to get her in the hospital bed set up in our 2 room apartment and for me to go to class in what was my final semester of college. I was working 40 hours a week, caring for her, and taking enough classes to finish my degree by December. People we didn’t even know from everywhere sent us cards with $5 or $10 to help pay medical expenses that mounted way beyond our capacity. We had made the decision to take out medical insurance when we married, thinking we would not need it.
The following year, in November of 1976, we had our firstborn, a son. We lost our next child, but in July of 1980, our 2nd son was born. And in August of 1982, our daughter joined the family to remind us that God had indeed blessed us with 3 miracle children we were not supposed to have.
50 years later, all those children are grown. We now have 7 grandchildren that too are a part of the miracle of God’s grace. Life during all of the years has been a mixture of peaks and valleys. We’ve seen depths of poverty in our lives to a level of prosperity we never imagined possible. We’ve taken large risks. Some failed, but others succeeded beyond our dreams.
September 29 is just another day for most people. But for us, it’s a HOLY day. A day we remember that God heard the prayers of many. He didn’t answer with a sudden miracle or with blinding lights and a dramatic moment. But step by step, moment by moment, He intervened and built a road for us to travel. We believed Him then. We believed His Word. All these years later, we believe even more. And we believe His Word even more than ever. It’s not something we merely “think.” We have lived it. I will always remember what the great Bible teacher Ron Dunn said, “That when you hit bottom, you at least find out it’s solid at the bottom.” And he said, “It’s one thing to say ‘God is all you need; but when God is all you’ve got is when you find out that He truly IS all you need.’”
I don’t have a clue about the future, but because of having lived the past, I am certain that whatever challenges come, God is still good…all the time!

2. Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.
3. If both sides agree to this proposal, the war will immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed upon line to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended, and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal.
4. Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, will be returned.
5. Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1700 Gazans who were detained after October 7th 2023, including all women and children detained in that context. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.
6. Once all hostages are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty. Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries.
7. Upon acceptance of this agreement, full aid will be immediately sent into the Gaza Strip. At a minimum, aid quantities will be consistent with what was included in the January 19, 2025, agreement regarding humanitarian aid, including rehabilitation of infrastructure (water, electricity, sewage), rehabilitation of hospitals and bakeries, and entry of necessary equipment to remove rubble and open roads.
8. Entry of distribution and aid in the Gaza Strip will proceed without interference from the two parties through the United Nations and its agencies, and the Red Crescent, in addition to other international institutions not associated in any manner with either party. Opening the Rafah crossing in both directions will be subject to the same mechanism implemented under the January 19, 2025 agreement.
9. Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the “Board of Peace,” which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J. Trump, with other members and heads of State to be announced, including Former Prime Minister Tony Blair. This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform program, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump’s peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.
10. A Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energize Gaza will be created by convening a panel of experts who have helped birth some of the thriving modern miracle cities in the Middle East. Many thoughtful investment proposals and exciting development ideas have been crafted by well-meaning international groups, and will be considered to synthesize the security and governance frameworks to attract and facilitate these investments that will create jobs, opportunity, and hope for future Gaza.
11. A special economic zone will be established with preferred tariff and access rates to be negotiated with participating countries.
12. No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave will be free to do so and free to return. We will encourage people to stay and offer them the opportunity to build a better Gaza.
13. Hamas and other factions agree to not have any role in the governance of Gaza, directly, indirectly, or in any form. All military, terror, and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt. There will be a process of demilitarization of Gaza under the supervision of independent monitors, which will include placing weapons permanently beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning, and supported by an internationally funded buy back and reintegration program all verified by the independent monitors. New Gaza will be fully committed to building a prosperous economy and to peaceful coexistence with their neighbors.
14. A guarantee will be provided by regional partners to ensure that Hamas, and the factions, comply with their obligations and that New Gaza poses no threat to its neighbors or its people.
15. The United States will work with Arab and international partners to develop a temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza. The ISF will train and provide support to vetted Palestinian police forces in Gaza, and will consult with Jordan and Egypt who have extensive experience in this field. This force will be the long-term internal security solution. The ISF will work with Israel and Egypt to help secure border areas, along with newly trained Palestinian police forces. It is critical to prevent munitions from entering Gaza and to facilitate the rapid and secure flow of goods to rebuild and revitalize Gaza. A deconfliction mechanism will be agreed upon by the parties.
16. Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza. As the ISF establishes control and stability, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will withdraw based on standards, milestones, and timeframes linked to demilitarization that will be agreed upon between the IDF, ISF, the guarantors, and the Unites States, with the objective of a secure Gaza that no longer poses a threat to Israel, Egypt, or its citizens. Practically, the IDF will progressively hand over the Gaza territory it occupies to the ISF according to an agreement they will make with the transitional authority until they are withdrawn completely from Gaza, save for a security perimeter presence that will remain until Gaza is properly secure from any resurgent terror threat.
17. In the event Hamas delays or rejects this proposal, the above, including the scaled-up aid operation, will proceed in the terror-free areas handed over from the IDF to the ISF.
18. An interfaith dialogue process will be established based on the values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence to try and change mindsets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis by emphasizing the benefits that can be derived from peace.
19. While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.
20. The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous co-existence.

The last time in court I was there for him breaking the No Contact order that was granted, and in place, to which the court responded with, “He is not an immediate threat. Therefore we can not arrest him.” I asked if they could at least take his weapons, the answer was again he was not a threat. The system FAILED, and now innocent people are dead cause people were afraid of making a decision. Yes me and my family are fine. This was 100% predictable and 100% PREVENTABLE. The system is so fucking flawed!”

I’m seeing quite a bit of comment about this, so I want to make a couple of points. I’m not owed eternal agreement from any actor who once played a character I created. The idea is as ludicrous as me checking with the boss I had when I was twenty-one for what opinions I should hold these days. Emma Watson and her co-stars have every right to embrace gender identity ideology. Such beliefs are legally protected, and I wouldn’t want to see any of them threatened with loss of work, or violence, or death, because of them. However, Emma and Dan in particular have both made it clear over the last few years that they think our former professional association gives them a particular right – nay, obligation – to critique me and my views in public. Years after they finished acting in Potter, they continue to assume the role of de facto spokespeople for the world I created. When you’ve known people since they were ten years old it’s hard to shake a certain protectiveness. Until quite recently, I hadn’t managed to throw off the memory of children who needed to be gently coaxed through their dialogue in a big scary film studio. For the past few years, I’ve repeatedly declined invitations from journalists to comment on Emma specifically, most notably on the Witch Trials of JK Rowling. Ironically, I told the producers that I didn’t want her to be hounded as the result of anything I said. The television presenter in the attached clip highlights Emma’s ‘all witches’ speech, and in truth, that was a turning point for me, but it had a postscript that hurt far more than the speech itself. Emma asked someone to pass on a handwritten note from her to me, which contained the single sentence ‘I’m so sorry for what you’re going through’ (she has my phone number). This was back when the death, rape and torture threats against me were at their peak, at a time when my personal security measures had had to be tightened considerably and I was constantly worried for my family’s safety. Emma had just publicly poured more petrol on the flames, yet thought a one line expression of concern from her would reassure me of her fundamental sympathy and kindness. Like other people who’ve never experienced adult life uncushioned by wealth and fame, Emma has so little experience of real life she’s ignorant of how ignorant she is. She’ll never need a homeless shelter. She’s never going to be placed on a mixed sex public hospital ward. I’d be astounded if she’s been in a high street changing room since childhood. Her ‘public bathroom’ is single occupancy and comes with a security man standing guard outside the door. Has she had to strip off in a newly mixed-sex changing room at a council-run swimming pool? Is she ever likely to need a state-run rape crisis centre that refuses to guarantee an all-female service? To find herself sharing a prison cell with a male rapist who’s identified into the women’s prison? I wasn’t a multimillionaire at fourteen. I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous. I therefore understand from my own life experience what the trashing of women’s rights in which Emma has so enthusiastically participated means to women and girls without her privileges. The greatest irony here is that, had Emma not decided in her most recent interview to declare that she loves and treasures me – a change of tack I suspect she’s adopted because she’s noticed full-throated condemnation of me is no longer quite as fashionable as it was – I might never have been this honest. Adults can’t expect to cosy up to an activist movement that regularly calls for a friend’s assassination, then assert their right to the former friend’s love, as though the friend was in fact their mother. Emma is rightly free to disagree with me and indeed to discuss her feelings about me in public – but I have the same right, and I’ve finally decided to exercise it.
Do not be deceived. While this piece sounds good to us, Christ wrote about that which tastes sweet but when swallowed becomes bitter.

A high school friend posted what claims to be a NYT article (with no link) about Trump getting billions on a Nvidia chip deal with UAE. I did a little digging and it is all leftist reports. The article I read looks like “hate porn” and I wrote that I don’t believe the article. There are a number of reasons and I am still researching further.

The New York Times just exposed a massive quid pro quo at the heart of Trump’s new administration: the United Arab Emirates quietly funneled $2 BILLION into a crypto company (World Liberty) DIRECTLY OWNED by Trump and his family (and his shady real estate buddy Steve Witkoff) and almost immediately after, Trump MAGICALLY greenlit a highly controversial deal handing the UAE hundreds of thousands of America’s most advanced AI chips.
These weren’t just a few leftovers. The UAE demanded HALF A MILLION of Nvidia’s cutting-edge AI semiconductors every year — chips so advanced they’re considered the crown jewels of American innovation. These are the chips that power military drones, autonomous weapons, and AI systems that the Pentagon has repeatedly said are key to the global arms race.
And what country is the UAE cozying up to? China. They conduct joint military drills with Beijing, co-develop weapons, and even filled their own data centers with Chinese tech from Huawei and other companies that U.S. intelligence warned could be used to siphon off American secrets.
The Biden administration told the UAE: NO WAY. TOO RISKY! Trump, on the other hand? His White House fired the officials raising red flags, rolled out the red carpet for UAE’s national security chief, and inked the deal IMMEDIATELY after the Trump family’s crypto startup MAGICALLY received its $2 BILLION windfall from the UAE.
And it gets worse…
At the very same time Trump and Witkoff were dining with UAE’s Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed (the shadowy security chief who wears sunglasses indoors like a Bond villain), their sons were busy finalizing the $2 billion transfer into their brand new crypto scheme, World Liberty. That one check instantly turned World Liberty into one of the world’s biggest crypto players — and guaranteed Trump’s circle TENS OF MILLIONS in personal profits every single year.
So yes, while Trump was literally promising to hand over America’s most dangerous technology to a petro-state tied to China, his family was cashing the check. Even insiders in Trump’s own administration admitted they couldn’t tell whether he was representing America’s interests — or just his own bank account.
Now let’s pause and imagine for one second if this were Joe Biden. If Hunter Biden got a $2 BILLION check from a foreign dictatorship and then the White House handed over half a million of our top AI chips? Fox News would detonate on live TV. Tucker would spontaneously combust. Sean Hannity would chain himself to the Capitol dome screaming “TREASON.”
But because it’s Trump? Crickets. Or worse — the spin. You can already hear it:
• “This is actually good for America!” (Sure, selling our crown jewel technology to a dictatorship in bed with China is definitely genius strategy.)
• “Hunter’s laptop!” (Because when Trump literally sells out U.S. security, the only defense is to scream about Hunter’s emails from 2012.)
• “It’s just business!” (Right, except the “business” here involves national security, military AI, and the President’s own wallet.)
This isn’t “business as usual.” It’s Trump selling out America to the highest bidder. Trump turned our most sensitive defense technology into a bargaining chip for his own enrichment.
Even some of Trump’s own aides admitted the deal reeked of corruption. One NYT reporter put it bluntly: “It’s not normal for the president and his Middle East advisor to have a financial interest in matters they’re negotiating.”
And yet, here we are.
Trump didn’t just bend the rules — he shattered them for profit. He sold out America’s national security to make his family rich. If he’ll hand over AI chips that could power China’s next generation of killer drones, what wouldn’t he sell?
Because for Trump, America ISN’T first. America is for sale.

Higgins had texted public subscribers to his feed his response to a racist sign held by a female activist who was protesting an appearance by Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears at an Arlington County School Board rally earlier this month.
The suspect, Patrick Murphy, allegedly texted Higgins back after the campaign blast, telling him, “F— off, Geary.”
“I will shoot u [at] yer (sic) next public rally [t]hen send you memes with the photos,” read the message. “I know where your f—ing kids are too,” Murphy allegedly continued. Murphy faces felony charges and a court date in Leesburg next month.
“Unfortunately, this is the direct result of the nasty lies and constant demonization from the radical left that we’ve seen over the last few years,” Higgins added, criticizing his Democratic opponent for what he said were false advertisements and claims about his political record.

She’s absolutely correct. The poor guy had zero situational awareness.
The dude was lucky they just took his gun and walked out without shooting him IN THE STORE. He failed to secure his winnings. He had his life. He should have kept it. He had the chance. GTFO.
ALWAYS prepare to GTFO and then do it quickly, unpredictably, and without being noticed, when the situation changes like that.
One cannot fight the reality that about 5-10% of random American* blacks will do you harm if they think they can get away with it – for no reason other than that you are white or Asian.
No amount of “goodness” on your part can stop that or undo it. The only thing you can do is get away.
The only thing that inhibits the bad blacks from harming whites is “too many white people around”. And even that doesn’t always work. The presence of good black people cannot save you.
*NOTE – there are certain places where random blacks can be trusted. I don’t advertise these places, because the evil people will corrupt those locations if they know about them. People need to learn situational awareness (and travel widely) to discover such places.
