I only know that they are relentlessly pushing the narrative that ICE and the Trump administration are jerking innocent people off the streets. Harmeet Dhillon made it clear that the feds have to jump through more hoops than the state in order to get an order from a judge. Nevertheless, by the evening of the event (last night), they already had agents on their way to MN.
I’m not sure what people expect. For one thing, we’re not going to be privy to everything they’re doing. None of us knew that agents were already headed to MN or that Dhillon and Bondi were consulting and planning a strategy right after the event. There are elements that we aren’t aware of (as mentioned above regarding “hoops”) about legal requirements that have to be met so a case will not be destroyed before it gets off the ground.
I’m glad the people in charge have cool heads and the intelligence to not spoil a case with rash, emotional action.

She’s bragging about mobilizing a 20-30 person mob to “overwhelm” ICE agents mid-arrest at a Minneapolis gas station on January 17, forcing them to release the detainee.
She calls them “observers.” Bullshit.
She admits they showed up in force, scared the agents into backing down, and “stopped” the operation.
That’s not observation…that’s textbook mob intimidation and obstruction of federal law enforcement.
And she posted it online for the world to see. Perfect evidence. DOJ, take notes.
Let’s carve this up with the actual federal code she’s violating, no mercy:
1. 18 U.S.C. § 111…Forcibly Impeding, Intimidating, or Interfering with Federal Officers.
This is the hammer. ICE agents are federal officers under § 1114, executing lawful immigration arrests. The statute criminalizes anyone who “forcibly… resists, opposes, impedes, intimidates, or interferes” with them in the performance of official duties.
“Forcibly” doesn’t require fists or weapons…it includes intimidation by sheer numbers, surrounding officers, or creating a threatening presence that prevents them from doing their job.
Courts have nailed people for this exact conduct: mob swarms that box in agents, scream threats, or use group pressure to halt arrests. Her own words…”we overwhelmed these ICE agents so much that they let this detainee go”…is a direct admission that their mob action forcibly interfered and intimidated the agents into abandoning the arrest.
Penalties? Base level is a misdemeanor (up to 1 year), but when force is involved (and mob intimidation counts), it jumps to a felony: up to 8 years in federal prison.
If anyone in her crew made physical contact or used vehicles as threats, it escalates to 20 years.
She’s on video admitting the core elements. Lethal.
2. 18 U.S.C. § 372…Conspiracy to Impede Federal Officers by Force, Intimidation, or Threat.
She didn’t act alone. She brags about a “quick response group,” organized calls, coordinated arrivals in vehicles and on foot…20-30 people showing up within minutes to “stop these ICE agents.” That’s conspiracy.
This statute specifically targets groups that conspire to prevent federal officers from discharging duties through force, intimidation, or threat. Her mob did exactly that: intimidated by numbers, forced a release.
Penalty: Up to 6 years in federal prison. And since it’s multiple people admitting coordination, the feds can charge the whole network. RICO potential if this “quick response group” is an ongoing enterprise.
3. 18 U.S.C. § 371…General Conspiracy to Commit Offense Against the United States.
Fallback hammer: conspiring to violate § 111 or obstruct immigration enforcement. Same organized mob, same goal. Up to 5 years.
Bonus: That Minnesota federal judge’s injunction from Jan 16? It protects “peaceful and unobstructive” protesters from detention or chemical agents.

Random report. For those who followed my reports on the repair of the 12 miles of road in the Interstate 40 gorge at the TN/NC border that was ravaged by Hurricane Helene related river floods. It is currently 2 lane traffic at roughly 40 mph speed limit with limited trucking access.
The rebuild will be completed in late 2028. The project has increased to $2 B and the feds are funding it. The scope of the project required them to go even deeper than the planned 30 feet of reinforcement depth into the bedrock. However, it will not impact the completion date. As they did testing of the affected area over time they found they needed to go even deeper in providing a strong foundation for the dam like structure that is being built as the once and forever solution.

I can think of a lot of reasons why that would be the case, including that a patriot of today would think the Constitution guarantees people the right to not be disturbed during a worship service.
Our inalienable rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They do not include safety, healthcare, education, property ownership, or freedom from disturbance while in church. There are other statutes that cover those things.

So the Fiancee was doing a Happy Dance a little bit earlier.
Her car, a Subaru Forester, developed this weird syndrome. If you were turning a hard left, and accelerated onto your new course, you’d hear this distinctive “knock, knock” in the back of the car. She took it into the dealer (a mistake, IMHO) and they drove it around for a bit and told her it was her imagination.
I drove it around a bit and got it to replicate. Then she took it back to the dealer and replicated it with one of their people in the car. They poked and prodded the car, and identified the rear differential and its attached RH axle as being the problem (Subarus are AWD, so have two differentials). This was partially because the front differential fluid was clean and the rear was filthy dirty and may have had gear teeth floating around in it. They quoted her almost $4K.
I expressed skepticism that differentials can go “knock, knock” — I’d been given a model differential when I was about eight years old, so it wasn’t a magic black box for me. But the Fiancee told them to go ahead and fix it. I requested the old parts so I could sneer at them.
Due to the holidays, it took forever for them to get the thing “fixed”, and they’d gotten permission from TPTB to knock the “repair” down to $2K. The Fiancee went and paid and got her car back (without the old parts). Within three hours, she noted that it was doing the same thing. They couldn’t give her a loaner right away, so this time she documented the crud out of the situation — you have to be going a minimum of 26 mph; she made a drawing of a left turn and put an “x” on it when the sound would happen; she took all the crud out of the car that might go “knock” or “clunk”.
[She said that I would have told her to include these documents the first time she took the car in and I vociferously denied that I would……I would have told her to build a spreadsheet.]
Anyway, she’s been driving this loaner Crosstrek around for a week [which she hates] and they finally looked at her car……and couldn’t replicate, whereupon she read them the riot act and they checked her notes and tried again………..AND GOT A REPLICATION!!!!
