This is a fun one…
Has everything from corporate intrigue to morality play, big corp crushing small guys who keep fighting, and just to round it out, a zero day exploit that looks a lot like a “backdoor” (or could just be stupid programmer games).
I’d worry if I ran anything Microsoft, but I don’t, so I don’t 😉
Yes, it is a couple of months old, but I don’t usually follow M.S. stuff closely. The White hat “Nightmare Eclipse” is having a bit of a feud with M.S. over their ‘bug bounty’ program. Having not been paid for turning in some serious exploits, Nightmare Eclipse then started dropping “zero day” exploits on public servers. M.S. responded by getting them banned from Git Hub and Git Lab (so a bit of “whack a mole” going on). That won’t end well as the more they push the disclosure toward dark web / mesh network tech, the more exploits will be zero-day for the Black Hat community and hidden from the White Hats & the company.
Yes, a ZERO DAY exploit is bad. Yes having it quarantined with the company until a fix is published is better. BUT when the company goes all Pissy Dissy at the folks notifying them, the company can expect lack of cooperation in return. Companies can play nice or have Dark Web Exploits floating around for weeks or months before they find out. M.S. is not known for playing nice, IMHO.
FWIW: I survived all sorts of zero day exploits for years (decades…) via other site sanitation measures. Just because a given computer has an exploit doesn’t mean you can’t protect it. Isolation of critical systems from communications networks (i.e. not everything needs to be on the internet all the time…), very tight isolating firewalls, network architecture that prevents some kinds of access, access control facilities and more. They all work.
For example: I have a lot of data on disk. It is absolutely safe from attack from the internet. Why? Because the disk is not plugged into a computer, it is locked in a drawer. Also, the computer is left turned off and without power 99%+ of the time (that computer is only used when I want to access those disks) and, unless I’m actively downloading data from the internet, it doesn’t need an internet connection. I can download things (on a different system / uSD chip) that that gets moved to the archival system, maintaining isolation.
Bit of a PITA for things like system updates and adding data? Yeah, but a lot less trouble than getting shut down or data corrupted / stolen. Also note that I have copies of my various computer builds in the archive. IF one of my systems got corrupted or “locked” for ransom: I just remove the media with the locked OS on it, flash a new one from the saved image using my offline system builder system, and I’m back in business. All the important offline data is still secure and the online system recovered. Maximum loss is whatever I’ve done very recently, not backed up, and usually that’s easily recreated or just not important to me.
So yes, were I running a live on-line corporate center, some of those zero day exploits would matter to me a lot more (they did back when was doing that for a living). BUT, I find it a lot easier to have a dedicated system for personal web / on-line stuff that is semi-disposable, AND separate systems used only for things like financials, archives, and building systems. Compromising an exposed system doesn’t compromise anything important. With a separate computer costing in the $100 range, and uSD cards for an isolated system down around $10, running multiple computer images is very cheap and easy. Add that the Raspberry Pi 4 & 5 are enough for common web browsing stuff, and the barriers to entry for isolating “random browsing” from “important stuff” drops to the cost of a fancy coffee or at most a tank of gasoline.
Yes, that also involves avoiding the Microsoft Tax on the systems (one licence each) via Linux, but I’m fine with that 😉
So, here’s the Soap Opera Story, along with the tech of the exploit(s) involved:
Yes, this “exploit” requires access to the hardware. That’s one of the first big barriers to protect yourself. Keep your hardware / systems away from physical access by randoms. The laptop I use “on the road” at public WiFi has NOTHING on it of importance. No financials. No email archive. At most, a couple of days of “on the road” email reading records (email left on the server when on the road). Isolating use cases, it’s a good thing.
Also note that at about 11 minutes, there’s a ‘letter’ from Nightmare Eclipse stating that M.S. patched a vulnerability under active exploit without telling anyone (a bad behaviour). Once you push the patch, you notify everyone so they can assure they patch it AND find out if they were hacked.
For this particular bug, I don’t see it as a major risk for most users / use cases. For secure sites depending on disk encryption? Yeah, it would be an issue. OTOH, as someone who has needed to use “exploits” to recover other folks systems sometimes: To me it looks more like a way to recover an encrypted disk when the employee left the company or the PIN was lost… not all “security bypasses” are bad all the time…

A Nice Summary of Why Ubuntu Now Sucks
I’m removing Ubuntu from any of my systems
Why? Because the path forward now sucks. Management at Canonical has made a series of “corporate friendly user hostile” decisions. SNAP is obligatory, which also means loss of control of YOUR code as it self updates “packages”. The inherent code bloat has pushed memory demand to levels higher than Microsoft Windows(!). Wayland is now obligatory so kiss off any old Xorg applications or recovery methods. Want to remove SNAP? Then you also lose sound as computer sound now depends on it. Kernel stable? Maybe, maybe not, as the Long Term Support version release may happen before kernel stability date. Then there is Uutils, the Rusty re-write of well tested well proven Gnu Coreutils pretty much guaranteed to induce bugs, script failures, downtime and commands that do not act as they did before.
I also have several very old PC boxes that I like to keep in service. Keeps e-waste down and old hardware useful. Canonical is abandoning old hardware, so abandoning me.
The “good news” is that the only system I’ve regularly used with Ubuntu was an Asus Laptop that came with it pre-installed. After some effort, I’ve reached the point where I can manage EUFI well enough to swap the OS on it – just as the keyboard and power connection have started being flaky… so I bought a new Think Penguin laptop with Devuan pre-installed. My only other Ubuntu systems tend to be alternative uSD cards for various Single Board Computers since many vendors supported Ubuntu first or only. Odroid, for example, liked to support it. For them, I’ve generally gotten a Devuan or Armbian alternative running as the main OS. I’ll now be “not bothering” to use the alternative Ubuntu, and actively replacing it.
Some of the boards (Odroid N2) were purchased with a pre-installed Ubuntu on an emmc chip. I’ll be putting the main OS on that chip instead… Devuan where possible, Void sometimes,others as interesting. Slackware runs on some of them too.
Canonical has embraced “The Microsoft Way” and abandoned The Unix Way, so I’m abandoning them. Here’s a nice 17 minute summary of why Ubuntu 26.04 LTS sucks:

A Minor Rant about Huge Corporations trying to “enclose the commons”
Over the last couple of decades, a growing trend in Linux has been Big Corporate “Support” in the form of Money, Programmers on Staff, and Membership In Governance Boards.
This has been very helpful in that resources have been provided to what had been a “Potluck Programming by The Little Guys” process without much funding or resources at all. This has been bad to the extent that the Big Corporate Players gain power over the direction of Linux, and then use it to capture it, and remove the very freedom that created it in the first place.
Microsoft has long had a known strategy of “Embrace and extend” (to capture and kill…). So they would “embrace” a proposed Standard, but then extend it in proprietary ways that were not compatible. Due to their size, they could do this with impunity, but it also prevented Other People and Other Companies from running on their “stuff” and ‘encouraging’ you to Buy Micro$oft products…
RedHat rose to dominate a lot of the Userland Codebase, so what RedHat did got propagated out to many (most?) other distributions. SystemD is a good example. Now owned by IBM (since 2019). Note that IBM has a long history of attempted monopoly practices in various markets. (Disclosure: At one time I worked for Amdahl Corp. who made “IBM compatible” mainframe computers, so saw this up close.) IBM does not care, at all, about Open Source or keeping free software free. ANY “new and improved” way of doing things from RedHat / IBM is something I will suspect of being directed at capturing control of the commons.
Canonical (Ubuntu) is also a large corporation and mostly cares about making an OS Release that works well and is easy for them to maintain. Your control and your choices and machine efficiency not so much. So they embrace SNAPS despite resources that uses and despite putting the package run (and updates to it) beyond your control. (SNAPS are automatically updated when Canonical feels like it, on your machine, for example.) Canonical is also making somewhat incompatible changes to their version of Linux, pushing you into being tied to their way of doing things – like forcing the use of the Rust based uutils instead of the GNU CoreUtils.
Mozilla (the FireFox browser) is pushing their creation of the Rust computer language. Supposedly for the “memory safety”, but that is only one type of bug and is NOT concerned with memory footprint or efficiency on small machines (like the Single Board Computers -SBCs- I like). After the re-write in Rust, FireFox tended to keep hold of more memory when a lot of tabs were kept open. I like to keep a lot of tabs open, even if inactive. This eventually had me move from FireFox to Brave (that seems to understand a page cached to disk doesn’t need to stay in memory). Do I really want ever more chunks of my Rusty-Linux system to demand memory residency?
Somewhere in my Bone Yard is an old Hitachi Laptop from about 1988? that has 8 MB of memory. Yes MEGAbytes. It has a RedHat Linux on it (from that era, not updated). I “inherited it” for free when it could no longer run Windows (so I don’t really know how old it is…). I turned it into a firewall / router for my office when I was the Build Master & IT Guy for a small software company of about 50 people. All MY traffic went through it to the corporate network. (Why? Because the Systems Admin AND a guy in charge of defending the sanctity of a build chain MUST protect against all kinds of things, even folks inside the company). The point?
Re-purposing old small memory & CPU equipment is of no interest to Major Corporations (selling new equipment is), but it IS in the interest of small corporations, independent developers, students, anyone who is poor and living in the 3rd World, and folks interested in reducing the tonnage of resources hitting landfills as eWaste.
A large part of the Linux World population has goals and values that do not align with those of the Major Corporations. Major Corporations want to control the commons and exploit it for their profit and gain. Not necessarily a bad thing (I’m all for profit in corporations, as long as it is not evil in execution). The problem comes with the “Enclosure of the commons”. A problem defined since before Medieval times. When there was a “commons” where everyone could chop wood or hunt food, then The King (or other local Lord) would claim it was for his private use alone. Under his rules. Kind of like saying: You Must use SystemD, Gnome & Wayland…
Also note, that the Rusting of various packages often comes with a licence change from GPL (GNU Public Licence that is “copyleft” and requires changes be published) to MIT (“permissive” that lets you keep changes a hidden secret). The point of a copyleft license is to prevent “Embrace and extend” as a way to “enclose the commons”. The move away from GPL to MIT helps big corporations, but endangers the Open Source Community and encourages making Variations Of Linux that are NOT compatible with others, that are proprietary and tied to one vendor.
I choose to stay in the GPL License world. Not as energetic about it as Richard Stallman, I’ll accept proprietary driver code for some odd peripheral, but aware of the risks of Corporate Capture, Enclosure of The Commons, and Proprietary incompatibility risks “going forward”. So I will run Wayland sometimes, but encourage Xlibre. I’d try to avoid SystemD, and I’ll not use Gnome at all. Ubuntu is on my “walk away and avoid” list due to their changes over the last few years, and Void is coming on board.
Embrace those Linux distributions who recognize these Corporate Capture Risks. Stay free.

What interests me is, does this include dairy? Because raw milk and raw milk cheese is a big deal, and very controversial.
Personally, I think people should be allowed to eat what they want, period. I think government interference should be limited to foods whose producers are “invisible” to the public.
Example:
I go to a farm and buy milk. I see the cows, I see the barn, the pasture, and the farmer. I buy what I want, no government interference.
I go to the corner grocery and buy milk. I’ve got no idea whatsoever about the conditions the milk was produced in. I never see a cow, a barn, or a farmer. The government makes sure the “corporate” milk is safe.
In the above scenario, the same farmer may have sold milk to both me and the “corporation” that put the milk in the corner grocery.

I hear the criticisms. I get the criticisms. But I also want to test out the new LTS and see what the problems are……
Part of the problem is that users have to “ride a style” for a distro in order to keep somewhat current.
And that goes back to Linux being the Erector Set of operating systems.
Back in the day, there was a line of toys called an Erector Set. They still make them, BTW — just look in Amazon for Meccano / Erector. Looking at a big set — the $179.93 Engineering and Robotics set — you’ll see a picture of a crane on the outside. Inside is a brochure with detailed instructions for building 11 different things…..and they have some guidance to build 25 different things from the same bunch of parts. This set includes 638 pieces and 3 tools.
The big Linux distros have lots of parts (some of which you’ll never use) and point you in various directions. One of the biggest is Red Hat, which has the RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) repositories (which remind you that it’s owned by IBM), Fedora (the free version), and CentOS (the friendly version that was bought out and buried). Another is Ubuntu, who laudably set up a drumbeat to progress in even numbered years in April. There’s also Debian, who will issue no release before its time and inhabits a monastery of impracticality — and Arch, who doesn’t even believe in releases and just gives you things whenever. Each distro can have a picture on the front of a crane, or a car, or a bulldozer, or an amusement park ride [Soarin’ over California/the World/America was developed by Disney Imagineers from Erector Sets.]
Each of the major Linux distros can build any of the things that can be built by the others because they largely start with the same pieces (except the special 8×5 plate you need to make a whatzit). But each is also optimized to build the thing on the box because that makes everything friendly going forward.
There are more specialized Linux distros, just like there are special Erector Sets for building racing cars (5 kinds) or construction equipment (8 kinds), but even those can be built into all sorts of fanciful creations with additional parts.
If you buy a limited Linux Erector set meant to build race cars, you will eventually find your word processor goes out of date, or system security is compromised.
Various distros have pictures of fancy contraptions on the box. What are they?
Fedora/RedHat has a corporate workstation. The IT Department find it easy to manage, users find it deadly dull but regularly backed-up. It has menus for approved tools per job function. Security is up-to-date.
Ubuntu has a personal desktop. The UI is friendly and personable. Things are mostly where you’d expect them to be, but not backed-up unless you install and run a backup plan. Security is very good.
Arch is technical and unpolished, with a bit of a cyberpunk feel. Random pieces stick out of the box photo.
Legos have often been the same sort of thing — you get a Lego kit for an airport terminal, a police station, or a candy store….but only one is in the picture on the box.
And this gets into one of the weirder things about Linux…..just about everything is swappable for something else. Your GUI can be GNOME, Xfce, GTK or KDE ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desktop_environment ). Your shell can be bash, csh, or ksh. You can use SysV or systemd to boot. Your filesystem can be ext4, JFS, or XFS…. Literally everything can be swapped in Linux — even the kernel.
Because it’s all built from parts.

But Hey, she did not die of cancer so it was a big ‘win’ for the damned drug.

Dolly had last stage terminal cancer when she consented to the experimental stuff. No, they did not kill her.
One of her sisters is shutting down the media attempts to dig into Dolly’s health history per her wishes. Wifey and her kin know the sister and family. She had been diagnosed well before Carl went into his two year nosedive. She correctly said she could have done more to postpone the inevitable, but wanted to take care of him through those last months instead.
The entire family and senior leadership were prepared; just agreed to stay silent.
My speculation – the aftermath of the jabs led to the initial cancer diagnosis and accelerated her decline. The cancer was probably already there, the jabs accelerated the effects.
But wasn’t if you that said that is what we do on here – conspiracy theories? So carry on. 😂

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 29
Exhortation to give glory to God.
– The mighty and honourable of the earth are especially bound to honour and worship him; but, alas, few attempt to worship him in the beauty of holiness. When we come before him as the Redeemer of sinners, in repentance faith, and love, he will accept our defective services, pardon the sin that cleaves to them, and approve of that measure of holiness which the Holy Spirit enables us to exercise. We have here the nature of religious worship; it is giving to the Lord the glory due to his name. We must be holy in all our religious services, devoted to God, and to his will and glory. There is a beauty in holiness, and that puts beauty upon all acts of worship. The psalmist here sets forth God’s dominion in the kingdom of nature. In the thunder, and lightning, and storm, we may see and hear his glory. Let our hearts be thereby filled with great, and high, and honourable thoughts of God, in the holy adoring of whom, the power of godliness so much consists. O Lord our God, thou art very great! The power of the lightning equals the terror of the thunder. The fear caused by these effects of the Divine power, should remind us of the mighty power of God, of man’s weakness, and of the defenceless and desperate condition of the wicked in the day of judgment. But the effects of the Divine word upon the souls of men, under the power of the Holy Spirit, are far greater than those of thunder storms in the nature world. Thereby the stoutest are made to tremble, the proudest are cast down, the secrets of the heart are brought to light, sinners are converted, the savage, sensual, and unclean, become harmless, gentle, and pure. If we have heard God’s voice, and have fled for refuge to the hope set before us, let us remember that children need not fear their Father’s voice, when he speaks in anger to his enemies. While those tremble who are without shelter, let those who abide in his appointed refuge bless him for their security, looking forward to the day of judgment without dismay, safe as Noah in the ark.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Hi guys, this is a drive by comment.
I would appreciate prayer, again, as after some sleep I am going to be formulating a reply to my Executor/Trustee brother’s remarks on our attempt to acquire the Cottage & Hilton hunting “cabin” from my late father’s estate. He more or less shot down most of what my attorney suggested…sigh…
There have been many pitfalls & hurdles & it has been quite challenging for me to separate out wounded & grieving emotions from the necessay data & number crunching required to underpin my communications w/ little bro. I really hate this process 🙁 & it has been weighing so heavily on pretty much all of the Currens too.
We continue to seek God’s favor, grace, courage, wisdom, & will in all these things. I am basically not capable of handling any of this in my own strength & I never was.
I have been listening to near round-the-clock worship music to ease the heaviness in my heart & it has contriubuted to a sense of God being my protector & burden bearer. It seems that I Really need that spiritual armor for these pretty tense interactions with my brother in the flesh & in Christ.
It’s been so hard & weighs on my whole clan. Not knowing the outcome has been uneasy for even when things have been done that should have secured the Cottage my brother continues to drop remarks implying he could still just sell it out from under us.
People in our lives, in laws, friends, & even my estate attorney have expressed varying degrees of sorrow, outrage, frustration, & even confusion about how things are going. It is a complex estate but the trust lays out key points including how actions are to be for the benefit of all beneficiaries & also to minimize tax burdens as much as possible. From my (& my “team’s”) view it seems that the benefits are more to my two brothers than also evenly to me.
I guess it would be ideal if God would move on my little brother’s heart so that we, too, might find favor with this person who appears to hold almost all the power in the process.
Whatever the outcome, even if it means losing both properties (God forbid!), I know that God will help each of us bear our losses & heal from the wounds inflicted. I hope & pray that His Will will allow these historical properties to stay in the family, but, as yet, it remains to be seen…sigh…

Valerie, brothers CAN be such idiots. I should know, there’s one in my family.
I had a sister as well as a brother, but she passed many years ago from MS complications. My brother-in-law gave my mom quite a few things that Sister had, that he thought mom would treasure –and she did. Then brother in law passed and now Mom. my brother has not seen fit to return those things of my sister to my nephew simply because the will doesn’t say he has to.
(Further enforcing the decency of doing so is that fact that a fire destroyed the home where my brother in law had been living (after which he moved in with my nephew and wife with not much more than the clothes on his back.) So anything my brother in law was holding onto from my sister was gone.
I know you truly want the cottage and the cabin, but brothers can be idiots and you may have to face that fact. I will keep praying for you and the family and hope your brother is smarter and more compassionate than mine!
Oh my, Pat, the heartache in all of this tale 😪 I hope your nephew is doing well after all those painful losses. Your brother sounds like a real handfull. May God help you to heal the breaches, or at least heal your own heart. This is a cautionary tale & I agree with your hopes for my brother. During the wedding weekend we got stuck behind this really annoyingly slow going vehicle on a winding 2 lane road with no possibility of passing. At one point a crazy rural driver blew through the crossroad stop sign just slightly in front of the car impeding us. We decided God had used the slow go vehicle to protect us from a very dangerous situation, which might have even killed me in a potential T-boning had we been able to travel at our desired pace. God is Good & He Knows ALL & we can Trust Him with it All, even if it’s sometimes a challenge.

Wow Valerie, I am sorry to hear this. I certainly believed your having an attorney would resolve the trouble with the threats from your brother. It sure seems he is only counting the cost of what would be gained in the short term and not the cost of what he would lose in the long term ( sorta like they did in the Garden).
Something very similar happened to me regarding property that my dad intended for me, property that had been in his family since the 1800s, that everyone had agreed to before his passing; and I just walked away from it because I had to put my faith squarely on God and keep my eyes on Christ. This life is not the time of our full reward, I just remind myself again and again when I feel the sting of it. I can tell you that the two people in the immediate family that caused the rift are now definitely feeling the long term cost of their behavior. I count my true legacy from my dad as pointing me toward Christ, being the best dad, putting me through school so that I can support myself, being an amazing grandfather. It’s not the piece of soil that he wanted me to have. And my memories of him aren’t tainted by the ugliness of the squabble grabbing for cash, because I was able to let it go.
I know the vacation place is precious to you because of the baby’s loss. And I will pray that God will soften this for you and your family, and create in you a peaceful spirit.

I’m so sorry to hear that brother/Executor is continuing to ramp up the pressure about the Cottage and the Hunting Cabin. in my opinion, it appears the he’s abused his power as Executor from the get-go. I refrain from saying anything about brother/Executor’s spouse. In my opinion, brother/Executor appears not to be concerned about creating tension, stress, and negative dynamics in the family. This is not only sad — it’s reprehensible.
I send Good Energy and Deep Healing to you and yours. It’s been, and continues to be, a very rough road for you, on many fronts. I hope the Cottage and the Hunting Cabin situations are resolved in your favor.

1. ***Ownership*** of real property is true wealth – if it gets sold, the substantial appreciation stops immediately. It’s a short-sighted perspective, financially.
2. For him to reiterate that *he* has the power to sell or not, seems to me to be quite crass, and such a veiled threat sounds like an ego-trip.
3. You are the eldest of the siblings, yes? That should mean something, for a family lineage going WAY back.
4. I suspect he / they wish for the cash, foremost. An executor / trustee has strict obligations for beneficiaries. In re point 2 above, his assertion seems partisan / intimidating, rather than objective.
Whatever happens will happen, and may God bless you with calm and equanimity during this process.
(I wonder whether your father would have wanted to keep the real estate in family. It may be a good point to make.)
I had a sibling who was the individual trustee (there was a corporate co-trustee), and out of vengeance, spiked the Trust so that appreciation was minimized.
I sued and won – but the process was the punishment, because it took years, and substantial cost.
I had to go thru more than one lawsuit with my EX-brother. Luckily I was blessed with a really great lawyer who considered a week vacation for his family, in Acadia National Park touring the 50+ carriage roads and another week touring Mohonk Preserves 80+ miles in a private carriage payment for his legal services.
WE all had a great time, brother lost the battle and a sister. So some times things work out for the best in ways you do not anticipate.
I am hoping Val’s little brother wises up before it is too late. The irretrievable loss of a property that holds memories for all the family is bad, however the hurt and broken trust will linger well after the $$$ are gone and can never truly be healed because the memories will always be there.

I think my dad would very much have wanted the properties to stay in the family. He set up his Trust so that my little bro & I could each take a 50% ownership of the Cottage if we so chose, but only I want it. He also set up a number of mechanisms to help facilitate the process of property transfer. Grok has no dog in the fight. So if you entered (for example) your position, what you have said and done up to this point, and entered your brother’s position / comments / actions, it would be interesting to see how Grok evaluates the merits of each side.
It might give you insights that would help to present a rock-solid case, and to do so in such a way that even your brother would recognize that he has an indefensible position, from a neutral 3rd party perspective.

I saw a video a week or two ago that said practically all ‘discovery’ in lawsuit depositions now includes a question along the lines of “have you used Ai to assist you in any way that relates to this case?”, and if the answer is “yes”, then your adversary in the lawsuit has the right to ‘discover’ that entire conversation you had with the Ai.
And if they can, then apparently the Ai models are saving every user discussion, even if they claim they are not.
So if you think any of this might eventually lead to legal action for a resolution, either don’t use Ai at all, or if you do, make sure that nothing you say could be turned against you — which is probably impossible to do, without lawyer training.

If you decide to use Grok, you could just copy and paste each email into Grok, and once they’re all pasted, tell Grok to rearrange them in chronological order according to the send date, and then begin analysis.
That saves you the trouble of trying to put everything in correct order, they should all be time & date stamped, so let Grok worry about getting the timeline correct for you.
But watch the video first, so you understand that if you might be involved in some sort of legal action regarding all of this, it may be better NOT to use the Ai, because it is becoming a standard question on depositions.

So the implication is that kids 10 years old or younger, who were prevented from having red meat, developed a toxin, from an E. coli strain, a toxin called Colibactin.
Colibactin is weak, and should be destroyed by the mucus lining of the intestine, or at least the colibactin should be prevented from causing a problem by making contact with the intestine wall.
But apparently the lack of red meat affects the mucus lining, allowing the colibactin to infect the intestine, leading to colorectal cancer, 25+ years later.
So it would seem that the insufficient amount of red meat in the first 10 years of life causes a lifelong problem with the mucus lining of the intestine, and eventually, the (common?) E. coli strain that (routinely?) creates the toxin colibactin, makes sufficient contact with the intestinal wall, repeatedly over 25+ years, that results in colorectal cancer.
So if you don’t eat sufficient red meat in the first ten years of life, it (permanently?) messes up the mucus lining of your intestine, which would otherwise prevent the toxin colibactin from (eventually, 25+ years later) causing colorectal cancer.

Japan has ONE culture.
That is the reason Japan can have a civilized society where everyone agrees to observe the same rules and cultural norms.
We have multiculturalism.
Multiculturalism is, by definition, a WAR OF CULTURES.
So American society is in a constant state of WAR for cultural dominance — with white, Christian, heterosexual conservatives forced to fight with both hands tied behind our backs.
