We continue with our Pennsylvania signers of the Declaration of Independence today. We must first address some massively important questions relating to Pennsylvania before moving on as they have seismic implications. I want your input in response to these important questions in the comments.
First,
Which chain eatery has the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich?
We all know the locals would trump the chains, but not many of us get the opportunity to partake of the offerings of the locals. That is why this question relates to the chains. What we do know is that there are too many choices and personal likes and dislikes to promote one style over the other. However, that does not stop me from giving my view since I am the author of this story. 😂
That said, I do think ribeye makes for the best taste. I also think the Firehouse Subs version is #1(a) and Jersey Mike’s Big Kahuna is #1(b) for the best chain provider of the ones I have tried. The later uses white American cheese versus provolone with the former. For what it is worth Charleys Philly Steaks wins the #1 pick with nearly all of the reviewers who have tried them. There are just no Charleys anywhere around where I could try one.
So, the next question is which Pennsylvania professional sports team is the most popular?
We know most Pennsylvanians love their sports, especially the professional teams. To answer this I picked one measure which would be to see which had the most web searches conducted on them. The results as provided by a gaming site that did the research a few years ago by checking google searches was as follows (in order): Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL), Philadelphia Eagles (NFL), Pittsburg Penguins (NHL), Pittsburgh Pirates (MLB), Philadelphia Phillies (MLB).
After the Eagles’ Super Bowl appearance in 2024, I suspected that order may have changed with the top two when also considering TV ratings. The margin narrowed, but even based on TV ratings the order remains the same. Perhaps the Eagles victory in the last SB may have put them over the top subject to more current data that I could not find. One thing we can determine with certainty, it appears that Steeler fans and Eagles fans do not cross their self imposed red lines of fandoms.
It was interesting to note that the wretched Pirates, or Rats as MLB Central Division competitor fans call them, as a bad team of late had nearly double the searches over the Phillies organization that made it all the way to the World Series the year the data and article was published. It is also telling that the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers did not even make the Top 10. So much for the NBA. It died when Michael Jordan retired in my home anyway.

Next, what are the Top 15 attractions for visitors in Pennsylvania?
For this one I went to Tripadvisor, which seems like a logical source since people love to talk about and rate where they visit. From the TA site: “…we consider traveler reviews, ratings, number of page views, and user location.” The results were surprising to say the least.
In order: Eastern State Penitentiary (😂), Longwood Gardens (botanical), Independence Hall, Sight & Sound Theaters (Biblical dramatizations), Duquesne Incline (cable car ride), Knoebels Amusement Resort, Reading Terminal Market (food), Gettysburg National Military Park, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Park, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Fallingwater (Frank Lloyd Wright home/nature), The Amish Farm and House, PNC Park (Pirates), Presque Isle State Park, Strip District (eateries, bars, shops).
https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g28959-Activities-Pennsylvania.html
A visit to Eastern State Penitentiary sounds like the most Philadelphia thing evah. Visitors are treated to the former accommodations of Al Capone and death row in a medieval looking, architecturally wondrous House of Pain. Yeah! Now if they could convert it to Pennsylvania’s version of Alligator Alcatraz and permit MAGA supporters to attend departure ceremonies with open viewing of illegals being jettisoned we might be on to something. Many of us would pay reasonable admission fees to attend.
I am going to avoid the currently most popular Pennsylvania celebrity with the next question as it creates recency bias. Besides that I cannot stand Taylor Swift. The question I pose is who are the Top Fifteen greatest Pennsylvanians of all time?
Even Swift was relegated to #100 in the linked listing below. The authors seemed to take their approach a tiny bit more seriously, but alas, also very woke. It is hard to take a list of greats seriously that has Fred Rogers at #3 out of 100, but you know what is said about opinions and azzholes, everybody has one.
My version from the list would go: William Penn, Benjamin Franklin, Dwight Eisenhower, Benjamin Rush, Betsy Ross, John Dickinson, Edgar Allan Poe, Jimmy Stewart, George Westinghouse, George C. Marshall, Milton Hershey, Billie Holiday, Jim Thorpe, Wilt Chamberlain, John Coltrane, Stephen Foster, Johnny Unitas, Arnold Palmer, and… welp, I guess I cannot stop at fifteen. Pretty amazing list of people. I could list nearly fifteen patriots from the independence movement alone. Guess it is time to move on. I left out Andrew Carnegie due to what we know about how his Foundation’s funds were used to weaponize against the interests of We the People.

Finally, what is the religious composition of Pennsylvania residents?
Short answer – about 7 in 10 are Christians.

Enough with the fluff, time to move on to the another PA signer of the Declaration.
George Ross, Jr.
The next founding father is often overlooked in the discussions about Declaration signers. A son of Anglican clergy Rev. George Ross, Sr. who had emigrated from Scotland in 1679, George Ross was born in 1730 in New Castle, DE as one of sixteen children of his father who had two wives. The Ross family had a long history in Scotland dating back to the year 1173 with the naming of an ancestor as the Earl of Ross in 1226 as he had great battle victories under King Alexander II. George’s sister, Gertrude, married the son of a prominent judge and politician. Upon the man’s death she married Declaration signer, George Read. Ross Jr. was also the uncle of the man who married Betsy Griscom in 1773. Perhaps you have heard of Betsy Ross?
Just in prominent family relationships alone we see George Ross, George Read and Betsy Ross. There is more acknowledgement of his importance in the patriot past with George Ross, George Washington and Robert Morris being featured on a 3 cent US stamp commemorating Betsy Ross back in 1952.
Ross received a classical education at home through the efforts of his father. He went on to read law at the office of his attorney older brother, John. At the age of 20 he was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and opened his practice in Lancaster, PA in 1750. He married Ann Lawler in 1751 and they went on to have three children together; two sons and a daughter. They were of the Episcopal faith and he was a vestryman in St. James Episcopal Church there. They met when she was 19 after she sought his legal advice and she became one of his first clients. It was an unusual event for a young woman to need legal advice in those days, but it appears none of her family were still living. It is possible his expertise was needed as she owned properties there that had probably been passed to her from her deceased father. With their marriage they had considerable combined wealth. She was considered quite beautiful by the town’s residents as were their children. One portrait of her follows,

During those days Ross was a Tory and was appointed as a Crown prosecutor for 12 years in Carlisle until elected into the PA provincial legislature in 1768. Although late to the cause of independence, through his experiences he began to see the difficulties caused by Parliament’s actions against the colonies. He became consumed with support for the independence movement and continued to progress in politics, representing PA in various roles and as a delegate in the General Congress in 1774. Just prior to that his wife passed away unexpectedly in 1773 at the age of 42 . George chose not to remarry.
He became a member of the Committee of Safety the next year in 1775 before being elected into the Continental Congress in 1776. He also served as a Colonel in the Continental Army. Being a benevolent person at heart he was soon tasked with improving relationships and negotiating a peace treaty, the Fort Pitt Treaty, with the northwestern PA located Indians.
Ross was not a member of the Continental Congress when the Declaration was approved. However, he had become one for the state prior to its signing and executed the document. He assisted with procurement and inspection of military supplies until his health turned poor and had to resign. In 1777 he was appointed a judge in the state’s Court of Admiralty (maritime related). He was a strong states’ rights advocate in the law before it became a controversial subject. He returned to serve once again in the Pennsylvania Assembly in 1778.
In 1779 he passed away from the effects of gout at the age of 49. He is buried with other founders in the Christ Church cemetery. Although Ross did not fight in the war due to his health, both of the couple’s sons served with distinction and led exemplary lives along with their sister. Ann, one son (George), and their daughter (Mary) are buried in St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery in Lancaster with other family members.
George Ross, Jr. went about his duties to God, country and family resolutely and well. We salute him as an important founding patriot of our great nation.

Please remember Wolf’s rules for our community. In general that means to be respectful to each other and to pull no shenanigans that your mom might find offensive or otherwise cause jail time. That said, free speech is honored here.
Be blessed and go make something good happen!

[puts toe in water]
[Helpfully offers soap.]
In a swimming pool?
You can soap (or not) wherever…..I’m just being helpful.
Polluting a pool is not helpful. It’s like peeing in the pool.
But you knew that.
*shrugs*
I wouldn’t soap in your pool, or a public pool….but I might in my pool or a river. But all I knew was that you were piggydipping.
Fair enough.
Have a nice sleep.
Exactly. 😆
LOL!
“WAIT FOR IT!”
Thanks for focusing on lesser known founders, TradeBait. I didn’t know anything about George Ross or of his connection to Betsy Ross. It seems unfortunate that he died at only 49. George Ross’s wife was indeed very pretty.
I didn’t either, TT. This has been really educational for me, which is helping with homeschooling the Grandson #1 and will with Grandson #2 next year. The use of the Descendants website as one of the sources on many has been really useful because of the more detailed personal information. I only use Wiki for overall info, then go to Descendants and other relevant sites and archives.
With Ross I placed myself as a young, polished, single George in my law office and in walks this single beauty who needs my professional expertise about her inherited properties. Oh my…
So many of our founding fathers had expertise they used behind the scenes that was absolutely critical to gaining our independence. So many threw their personal wealth into the fight with nothing to live on at the end of their lives. I have one coming up that served for a decade as an associate justice of the SCOTUS who was thrown into debtor prison twice and then skipped out to another state to evade creditors at one point. Yet, he remained on SCOTUS the whole time and handled some duties in a circuit judge role while he was evading them. 😂
WOW.
I recognize the ears, it was ODUMBO!!!
OJUGEARS!!!
👍 This is fantastic.😂
Going to print it out and have the grandson connect them down the road in his homeschool Social Studies. Yet another educational advantage of homeschooling!
Way down to the end, lies the secret. You could buy something at X price on the shelf and by the time you’re done shopping, the price is X plus 10% at the register.

Every now and then Maher gets something right. He’s more honest than most Dems.
Bill Maher Admits He Was Wrong About Trump’s Tariffs: ‘I Gotta Own It’ (VIDEO)
The Daily Caller has details:
The biggest international business sharks in the world have embraced what PDT is doing. That means great things for the 800 lb gorilla in the room called America.
PDT is the GOAT.
Maher might just show a few folks how to admit when you are wrong. A lost art.

CNN (Confirmed Nutcase Network) claimed the mass shooter in NYC was white…
White people go to a concert in Cincinnati and get jumped by a mostly peaceful gang of fatiguers, and the next day, a fatiguer shoots up NYC, and they blame it on a white guy.
White folks can’t catch a break.
.
At the 5:09 mark, looks like they barricaded the door with just enough furniture… 👍😂
Definitely wouldn’t count on it to stop a bullet though… so you might want to move away from the door, guys…

Can vouch for the awesomeness of Charley’s Philly cheesesteak subs.
Dying of complications of gout is rough – especially knowing how modern treatments and diets are so effective in eliminating the disease.
A prayer for said patriot Ross. May he rest in peace!!!
👍 I want to try one of those one day, they look good.
I agree. A friend recently got over a bout of the gout. Had they know then what we know now there would have been far less suffering.
Just read latest on MidwesternDoctor.com
Topic’s on Heart Disease, but he goes into crazy long list of side effects from statins. INCLUDING GOUT.
Yup. Statins are NASTY and DO NOTHING OVERALL.
Amen! 🙏
It was just days ago that feminists were complaining that men didn’t want to date them. Now they’re complaining that they do too much for men….

Always division and complaining.
Possibly. The article makes some good points, but I don’t see one mention of the use of social media, which I think could also be a factor.
She’s smiling. Have to wonder about the half-life of this connubial bliss….
Your wife is quite pretty; however, you should not rob the cradle. 😂
I got as far as name-dropping philosophers….
To me, the explosion of diverse life occurred when life became an information game instead of a chemistry game. Biology as a discipline really kicked into gear when Watson and Crick’s double helix gave this understanding a foundation. Oddly enough, from there it took time for computer science to reach a sufficient level of sophistication for us to start to see this relationship between heredity and data — even as genome sequencing started to discover just how much data there was.
A lot of his argument is that according to this-or-that long-dead philosopher, we can’t truly know how these chemical processes were modified to drive evolution in all its detailed magnificence. This isn’t so much right or wrong, it’s irrelevant. At a certain point, life spooled-up information in molecules — and, from there, it was off to the races.
Mind you, we still have a lot to learn. We know that the human that walks around and types on keyboards is comprised of human cells with human DNA……and actually more non-human cells that do not run off of human DNA. Further, we know that these human and non-human cells “talk” to each other and exchange DNA….and there are chemical signals emitted by human cells that turn non-human cell functions on-and-off, and vice-versa. We know this has been happening for a long, long time and is necessary to digest certain foods or survive certain calamities, to the benefit of all the ambulatory cells.
But to argue about mechanistic 1800s evolution is just missing the point.
A lot of what turned the light on for me was observing a friend’s Border Collie, Max, at a multi-family Easter celebration. He had been raised since a puppy away from Border Collies, and indeed most other dogs.
The adults all set up at picnic tables under some trees, adjacent to a sunlit grassy area of maybe six acres where the kids went off to play. Some time later, I was looking for Max and couldn’t find him…..until I noticed that all the kids with our group were playing in the same half-acre. Sure enough, Max was on the edge of this half-acre and would sometimes run around to move all the stragglers back in.
This was not trained behavior on Max’s part, nor was it anything he had just absorbed from other dogs or from humans. It was clearly “built-in”, just like a desktop’s boot ROM knew how to read from a disk drive. And the only place for this ROM to exist was in the dog’s DNA. There had to be a bunch of DNA that described how to build a dog, and another bunch of DNA for a bootloader, and another bunch for herding programs. It was all about coding information into molecules.
DNA is the original cloud. We just don’t yet know how to access the data contained therein.
BTW, humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes; gnats have 248 pairs.
Go figure.
I don’t expect anything to change anyone’s mind.
I didn’t believe the monkey —> man chart since the first time I saw it. They are different creatures.
The most ridiculous part of macro-evolution (besides the fact that Darwin himself said it couldn’t be true if factors he couldn’t be sure of at the time were true, which apparently we are sure of now) is that the changes can’t happen fast enough to survive.
I can’t think of the names of a specific creature, so I’ll just use any creature for an example.
Whether the fins on a whale are the remains of legs that transformed into fins, or whether the legs on an elephant were originally fins on a water mammal, the change from one to the other would take millions of years.
It wouldn’t be suited for survival on land OR sea during the transistion period.
In the meantime, those half-fins and half-legs would put it at a ridiculous disadvantage to every other living creature who was not in the middle of a radical transformation.
And none of that matters.
Whether I’m talking to a village idiot with an IQ of 40, or whether I’m talking to the smartest person in the world.
It just doesn’t matter.
Everyone believes whatever he wants to believe and justifies it in his own eyes.
Maybe 10% of what we do could actually be called ‘rational’, and the rest appears to be just BS-ing ourselves.
Which means it makes no sense to argue with anyone, about anything, because practically no one is going to be convinced of anything they don’t already believe, except through mass information / desensitization campaigns, because what people believe seems largely based on what the people around them believe.
People who believe in macro-evolution seem to have a magic fixation, from my perspective. They have to believe it, not because it makes sense, but because if they don’t, the rest of their paradigm doesn’t work. It’s religion, or very similar.
It doesn’t matter. If by the slimmest of chances my view turned out to be correct, I would turn out to be wrong about lots of other things, and vice-versa.
Life is madhouse, full of pain, grief and confusion.
And then you die.
Been reading Ecclesiastes lately have you?😉
When looking for confirmation 😂
Thank you!
I listened to the whole thing. A good listen.
First the positives. I think he has a real point about the philosophers and scientists (e.g., Hume and Newton) understanding that there is a deep connection between our intelligence and that of the hypothetical intelligent creation entity (God, if you will). I place that interface far deeper than evolution, but I’ll get to that later, in my own way.
I think he also has a point about the need to question our current understanding of evolution, which is (not surprising to real scientists) surprisingly common among those top evolutionists, who are likely dealing with many of the same dissatisfactions that I’m dealing with. But there are solutions to those dissatisfactions – really good ones – other than thinking that nearly or totally common descent (or regionally assisted common descent) is not what’s happening.
But now the negatives.
To begin with, Darwin was simply wrong if he in fact demanded that the simplicity of the cell was a logical necessity for the rest of evolution to be true. And I have to go a little further here, on Darwin possibly having at least been weak on this point.
Darwin was well-prepared for many aspects of his theory, by his backgrounds in medicine and geology, but not for ideas of scale, emergence, chemistry, astronomy, cosmology, and many other things which I personally find critical for modern evolutionary theory. With no understanding of patterns of scale, repetition, change and emergence with increasing scales, Darwin was unable to see the future defenses of his own theories.
And that gets into chemical evolution. IMO it is compatible with both modern science and a neo-Newtonian view of God (in which God’s enabling is deep enough to not require hacky and kludgey fiddling, as much of {COUGH} “intelligent” design demands of a “bad programmer God”.).
IMO astronomy, cosmology, chemistry, biochemistry, and planetary science are all critical in getting a feel for what may or may not be possible in chemical evolution. Darwin just didn’t have what we have now.
TIME is critical, but there are options here that leave a lot of play in the timeline of the cosmology of life.
Another point – the guest talks about making random changes in computer code and its thereby deleterious degradation, so how about life, but apparently he has zero understanding of how computer programmers LITERALLY do exactly what he’s talking about – both as a motif in more normal programming itself, AND particularly in what is called “genetic programming”, which is related in ways to both biological evolution/genetics AND to artificial intelligence in a broad sense. So – bottom line – he’s coming at this from an outsider perspective and hasn’t been exposed to the deep interface where programming LITERALLY steals from biology BECAUSE IT WORKS.
Yeah – it’s like that. I hate being some anonymous wag on the internet disagreeing with a Joe Rogan guest, but I think Joe is likely being sharper by simply questioning what he doesn’t know about here, but likely suspects.
One more thing – his demands on both genetics and anatomy to immediately function in some huge and full way upon continuous minor changes in code – to me that just betrays a failure to understand how shifting advantage works in both programming AND in biological code.
TL;DR- God doesn’t need to hack in to make shifting advantage drive over bumps in possibility – He literally created a universe where shifting advantage works at the biological level to ultimately obtain a desired world, because space itself reacts to itself at certain values (i.e., the most fundamental physics of forces and particle formation).
Or stated even more simply, people don’t trust enough in God – to be infinitely smarter than they think He is – to be able to control evolution’s outcome before there was even anything to evolve – or even – more remarkably – before time itself existed.
Super-TLDR…..
Stop telling God he’s a hack programmer!
Over at Marica’s, CV relates how her AC situation isn’t going well.
Praying for our beloved brilliant PAVACA – !
Hope she has a safe cool place to go that is cool until her AC is restored.
GA/FL
Thank you, you are very kind.
Update 8:10AM this morning:
Two crews are supposed to be at Chez Yours Truly today: the crew to finish up the AC installation; and another crew to get the new ductwork installation finished.
Yours Truly was able to rig up a makeshift bed near the sliding door in the living room that’s adjacent to the sunroom which has the minisplit going. I was also able to rig up a floor fan in the sunroom to blow in such a way as to push some of the cooled air from the minisplit into the LR where my makeshift bed is located. The sliding door to the sunroom is fully open. Solas slept in a dog bed on the floor. There is also a floor fan in the LR that is going on high, along with the ceiling fan in the LR.
I managed to get some sleep last night. Solas slept, too.
Right now, I’m waiting for the crews to arrive.
The interior of the house is at 84 degrees. I have floor fans and ceiling fans all running on high. The mininsplit is running on high fan speed with the sunroom door fully open. The floor fan in the sunroom is also running on high to push some cooled air into the LR area.
I’m drinking lots of water that has electrolytes powder mixed into it.
The problem with me (and Solas) going somewhere that has AC running is that the crews coming here today both need to have access to the inside of the house. So I need to be here. A new thermostat has to be installed inside the house, for example (I said NO “smart thermostat” — install a regular one.)
Sounds like you have executed a good plan, PAVACA. Hope all goes well and they finish today.
Went through this in about the same conditions and month three years ago. Fortunately we have a basement villa with a walk out deck and the AC worked fine down there. The bad part is that it happened during the supply chain issues stage of Brandon’s reign of terror, so it took nearly 3 weeks for our unit to be available for the main floor. It was 88 degrees on the floor during the day. Felt sorry for the crew who installed it as it is a split unit with the gas furnace and air handler in the attic where it was much hotter than that. They survived and we muddled through OK until it was installed.
That’s why the crew gets the big bucks. Attic torture.
What a way to make a living. They even had to take our pull down stairs out to have an opening wide enough to take it up. Then they had to cut a roof support board out and replace it when done. Fortunately they had four guys working it.
What a hassle! It’s a good thing this didn’t happen while Solas was in recovery. 😦
Are you REALLY sure you don’t want Google controlling your house? C’mon!
I had two ecobee thermostats installed at my home and loved them. I simply did not allow them to connect to the internet or even set up that part of their features. They are made in Canada and the price is lower than when I bought them.
Between new cars and new thermostats, the degree of both convenience and potential loss of privacy is off the charts. Keeping them off the internet is likely wise. The amount of data they capture is pretty astounding.
I agree. With the ecobees and my 2019 Nissan Rogue, I won’t mind if they choak on all that boring data. 🙂
Right now, under Trump and a clean NSA, I tend to agree. But back in 2015-2018, when I dodged several set-ups by the Obama deep state, I found that my boring data was easily used against me.
The only thing I can say in defense of Bill Barr, is that the crap stopped when he was sworn in. Something changed in Washington at that time. Some secret silo got reined in.
Criminals get the drop on people by knowing things people assume nobody knows, like where EXACTLY you are, and where you’re going to be.
If the DS attempts a violent color revolution, my advice is to immediately terminate upload of all your boring data.
Alternatively, produce significant amounts of false boring data for all your regular boring data.
Figure out what ecobee data is going off property and produce 6-8 times as much that has little to do with anything.
In my experience, acting fast is very important. Also, the assumption that the people in compromised LE won’t figure things out is a bad assumption. Maybe I’m watching too much “true crime” stuff, but IMO based on too many episodes of “Forensic Files”, no data beats false data, the latter bound to fail.
More than that, I just don’t like lying – even to liars.
Time to live at the public library. Seriously.
Those hard backed books are much more comfortable to lay on if you open them 👍
Coothie
Thank you for bringing this over. You are very kind.
YVW.
I knew that folks over here would be concerned and you were likely busy rigging up fans and such.
112 degrees! Hopefully she’s near the minisplit.
It’s only 91 degrees here. Balmy, with a light occasional breeze. But the A/C is set to 79 degrees.
I would normally have it at around 82 degrees, but after experimentation the past couple months, my PC has fewer spontaneous heat-induced reboots with an inside temperature at just under 80 degrees.
You gotta get off Windows, man! That stuff you’re talkin’ ’bout is SOME NASTY BOOLSHEET!!!
What does the operating system have to do with it?
After I ran diagnostics to make sure (as much as I could) that it wasn’t a virus or a hack of some kind, I figured it was some kind of hardware emergency shut-down to prevent damage from overheating.
Much as I’d like to cheer Linux and blame MicroSmurf for everything, you are correct. It’s much more likely to be your brand of motherboard or the cooling/ventilation of your case.
The case is a fanless design, so the case itself is the heatsink.
The motherboard is a brand name mini-ITX ‘durable’ motherboard. I had the PC custom built via a website that makes a PC to order, and they recommend any hardware substitutions based on their experience.
I told them I might be traveling with it, so I needed it to be small enough to put in a carry on bag and able to withstand travel and being bumped around, and I would be using it in an 80+ degree environment for at least half the year.
It ran great the last two summers with no issues, but this year it has needed cooling assistance.
I can turn a big room fan on it, and that works great, but defeats the whole purpose of getting a fanless PC in the first place.
So I have resorted to putting a metal pan on top of the metal heatsink outer case, and then putting a freezer pack inside the pan.
And changing the freezer pack every two hours.
So I’ll need to buy a new computer soon, both because Windows 10 will on longer be updated or supported, and because my current PC has heat exhaustion issues.
I’m guessing that a fine layer of dust has built up inside the case (it has ventilation openings in the top and bottom), acting as an insulator to the components inside.
I’ve tried blowing any dust out of it with an electric dust buster, but if it helped, it did help enough to solve the problem.
I’ve seen these sorts of shenanigans (not as severe, but still…) with Windows, and to a lesser extent with Mac OS, but never with Linux.
Yes, the OS is a couple of layers back from the hardware, but it still plays a central role in what to do about hardware problems, and when to do it.
One thing that Linux would help with is troubleshooting. It logs EVERYTHING to an excruciating detail, so if you can dig through the logs you will likely find something like “memory overheating *urk*” right before it says “unscheduled reboot”.
🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
Take doggy to a hotel to get some good rest tonight. Prayers for PAVACA.
Heck, even I can’t recognize that red thing in the upper right.
Little viewer we’d get as a souvenir. Scene of sorts to view.
I still don’t understand. What are we viewing?
Well…obviously…whatever was in the viewer!!! 😀

Good online friends —
The latest update about the situation with the woman next door who owns the German Shepherd that attacked my Solas:
I have hired an Animal Law attorney. They sent a polite, but firm, Demand Letter to the woman next door for reimbursement of the $10K+ in veterinary bills that I’ve paid for Solas being taken care of after the attack.
The woman next door has also hired an attorney. This attorney spoke with my attorney yesterday. My attorney called me and summarized the conversation. The woman’s attorney is alleging that the vet bills are “not reasonable” and that the woman next door is accusing me of “intimidating her” and other things. My attorney sent the opposing attorney copies of all the paid vet bills invoices and requested a call back from the opposing attorney.
IMO, “it doesn’t take a rocket scientist” to figure out where this situation may end up.
It will end up in arbitration, where the ‘inflated vet bills’ will be a minor asterisk compared to what she will have to pay in attorney fees [including yours] once your attorney finds someone who suffered a similar earlier fate as Solas.
pgroup2
Thank you.
Apparently, the situation in North Carolina is that, in almost all cases, the person who hired their attorney is responsible for paying their attorney’s fees. So I’m responsible for paying my attorney’s fees, and the woman next door is responsible for paying her attorney’s fees. This is because the issue is a civil one. The only exception in North Carolina is in the case of a business contract.
In WA state [and I assume others] if the damages are less than $10,000, atty fees paid by the loser will happen.
//////////////////
RCW 4.84.250
Attorneys’ fees as costs in damage actions of ten thousand dollars or less—Allowed to prevailing party.
Notwithstanding any other provisions of chapter 4.84 RCW and RCW 12.20.060, in any action for damages where the amount pleaded by the prevailing party as hereinafter defined, exclusive of costs, is seven thousand five hundred dollars or less, there shall be taxed and allowed to the prevailing party as a part of the costs of the action a reasonable amount to be fixed by the court as attorneys’ fees. I would think that her attorney fees could reach that $10,000 sum pretty quickly if this drags on.
This is actually good news. The neighbor isn’t asserting anything about culpability, they are merely haggling about the price. Further, what you paid is what you paid — if they want to argue over vet bills, they should go argue with the vet.
Did you take plenty of pictures of Solas during this ordeal? I hope so. That would end the discussion of “reasonable vs. not reasonable” right quick.
I think a lot of people don’t realize how expensive veterinary bills are nowadays. It pays to have good liability insurance.
If she didn’t, I’d bet the vet did.

✟
“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22 (KJV)
COMMENTARY FOR LAMENTATIONS 3
“The faithful lament their calamities, and hope in God’s mercies.1-20 The prophet relates the more gloomy and discouraging part of his experience, and how he found support and relief. In the time of his trial the Lord had become terrible to him. It was an affliction that was misery itself; for sin makes the cup of affliction a bitter cup. The struggle between unbelief and faith is often very severe. But the weakest believer is wrong, if he thinks that his strength and hope are perished from the Lord.”
(21-36) “Having stated his distress and temptation, the prophet shows how he was raised above it. Bad as things are, it is owing to the mercy of God that they are not worse. We should observe what makes for us, as well as what is against us. God’s compassions fail not; of this we have fresh instances every morning. Portions on earth are perishing things, but God is a portion for ever. It is our duty, and will be our comfort and satisfaction, to hope and quietly to wait for the salvation of the Lord. Afflictions do and will work very much for good: many have found it good to bear this yoke in their youth; it has made many humble and serious, and has weaned them from the world, who otherwise would have been proud and unruly. If tribulation work patience, that patience will work experience, and that experience a hope that makes not ashamed. Due thoughts of the evil of sin, and of our own sinfulness, will convince us that it is of the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed. If we cannot say with unwavering voice, The Lord is my portion; may we not say, I desire to have Him for my portion and salvation, and in his word do I hope? Happy shall we be, if we learn to receive affliction as laid upon us by the hand of God.”
Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered !!!
WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ABUSED, MISSING, AND TRAFFICKED CHILDREN
BE MY VOICE
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN
CHILD NOT CHOICE
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
MAPA = MAKE AMERICA PRAY AGAIN
AFTER THE TRIAL
Why feel abandoned in your hour of need
What is impeding the process to proceed
Where the prayer warriors intercede
When it will be God’s timing to succeed
You ponder it all while waiting in the wings
Platitudes and promises other things
The schedules and preparation settings
Required readiness positioning
The frustration lies in lack of control
The encouragement fails to console
The emptiness like an open pothole
The endless wait to fill in the blackhole
Unalone in this cancerous concoction
Your Lady shares curious convection
With hopes and dreams your private projection
Under God’s wings and Angel protection
Seems to be there is a progression
A procedure to elicit regression
A series of steps to silence succession
To deter demonic cell aggression
If that does not work a new plan devised
Given the options the patient advised
One must give up something comprised
To acquire a new configuration revised
We know God works all things for our good
And only He knows what is under the hood
So if you are wondering whatever you would
Cause after the trial come blessings that could

://nypost.com/2025/07/29/us-news/illegal-immigrant-caught-working-as-police-officer-in-maine-while-attempting-to-buy-firearm/
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers arrested a Jamaican national for allegedly attempting to purchase a firearm illegally while employed as a reserve police officer in Old Orchard Beach.
According to ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Boston, Jon Luke Evans was taken into custody with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) after his firearm purchase attempt raised concerns tied to his immigration status on July 25 in Biddeford.
Federal authorities say Evans legally entered the United States through Miami International Airport on Sept. 24, 2023, under a visa that required his departure by Oct. 1, 2023.
He failed to leave as required and has remained in the country unlawfully since.
During the investigation, Evans reportedly claimed he was seeking to purchase the firearm for use in his role with the Old Orchard Beach Police Department.
As part of the hiring process, the department submitted his employment documents to DHS through the federal E-Verify system. According to police, DHS confirmed Evans’ eligibility to work, and his Employment Authorization Document showed an expiration date of March 2030.
“Our department and our community relied on the Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify program to ensure we were meeting our obligations,” said Police Chief Elise Chard. “We are distressed and deeply concerned about this apparent error on the part of the federal government.”
Maine is one of about a dozen states that allows non-citizens with valid work permits to serve in law enforcement. Reserve officers in Old Orchard Beach are seasonal employees tasked with community patrols and do not take department-issued firearms home or carry personal weapons while on duty.
Leftist policies lead to trouble and destruction.
E verify is not a background check for a cop. Utterly incompetent. Anything he did officiallly should be reversed. Fire whoever did the background and the chief!

The Only Way
In folly deep, men turn from God,
And worship idols, frail and flawed.
With hands they craft, with hearts they stray,
Their doom is sealed, they walk sin’s way.
The golden calf, the stone, the tree,
Are works of man’s idolatry.
Men bow to things that cannot save,
And find their end in death’s cold grave.
Yet God has made the heavens wide,
The stars, the seas, where truth resides.
His works proclaim His holy name,
No other god can stake His claim.
In Christ alone, salvation’s found,
God’s Holy Word makes this profound:
“No other name beneath the sky,
By which we’re saved: Jesus on High.”
Jesus is clear, His words declare,
“I am the way, the truth to share.
None reach the Father but through Me,
The path to life, to liberty.”
God’s mercy saves upon strong wings,
By grace through faith, salvation springs.
Not works of man, nor idol’s might,
But Christ’s own blood makes sinners right.
Oh, hear the call, let eyes awake,
See Jesus Christ, for your soul’s sake.
No other way, no other plea,
Trust Him for life eternally.

Yes, I thought this was excellent.
Informative analysis of the horrific Gaza situation by Grok:
The situation in Gaza is a deeply complex and tragic conflict, with actions by both Hamas and Israel contributing to immense suffering. Your question raises serious concerns about the nature of the violence, the intent behind it, and the broader implications. Let’s unpack this carefully, focusing on the key points: Hamas’s actions, Israel’s military campaign, and the allegations of genocide. I’ll aim to provide a balanced perspective based on available information, acknowledging the nuances while addressing the gravity of the claims.
Hamas’s Actions in Gaza
Hamas, as the governing authority in Gaza since 2007, has been widely criticized for tactics that exacerbate civilian suffering and complicate the conflict. Reports indicate Hamas has used civilians as human shields, storing weapons and operating military infrastructure in densely populated areas like schools, hospitals, and mosques. This tactic increases civilian casualties when Israel targets these sites, amplifying the perception of Israeli aggression. For instance, the IDF has claimed that Hamas facilities, such as tunnels or weapon caches, are embedded in civilian infrastructure, a claim supported by some evidence like videos showing weapons in hospitals, though independent verification is often limited. Hamas has also been accused of diverting humanitarian aid meant for Gazan civilians to fund its military operations or benefit its leaders, a grievance that sparked protests by Gazans against Hamas in March 2024.
Additionally, Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, which killed around 1,200 people (mostly civilians) and took over 250 hostages, was a deliberate escalation that triggered Israel’s military response. Hamas leaders have justified the attack as a response to Israeli occupation and blockade, claiming it aimed to refocus global attention on the Palestinian cause. However, their tactics—indiscriminate rocket fire, hostage-taking, and targeting civilians—have been widely condemned as war crimes by human rights organizations. These actions not only provoke Israeli retaliation but also place Gazan civilians in harm’s way, as Hamas often instructs residents to ignore Israeli evacuation orders, potentially to maximize civilian casualties for propaganda purposes.
While Hamas’s actions contribute to the cycle of violence and suffering, they don’t absolve other parties of responsibility. The group’s strategy appears to rely on leveraging civilian deaths to garner international sympathy and pressure Israel, which complicates any assessment of the conflict’s dynamics.
Israel’s Military Campaign and Infrastructure Destruction
Israel’s response to the October 7 attack has been a large-scale military offensive, involving extensive airstrikes and a ground invasion starting October 27, 2023. The scale of destruction is staggering: by early 2025, over 70% of Gaza’s buildings were reported uninhabitable, with entire cities, hospitals, schools, and cultural landmarks leveled. The Gaza Health Ministry, cited by the UN, reports over 60,000 Palestinian deaths as of July 2025, with at least 50% being women and children, and nearly 2 million people displaced. Israel’s tactics, including heavy bombardment, controlled demolitions, and attacks on telecommunications and healthcare infrastructure, have rendered large parts of Gaza unlivable, with experts describing the destruction as “domicide” or “urbicide.”
Israel maintains that its war is against Hamas, not Palestinians, and that its actions target terrorist infrastructure. The IDF claims to take measures to minimize civilian harm, such as issuing evacuation orders, dropping leaflets, and using warning shots. However, these measures have been criticized as inadequate, with evacuation orders often unclear, issued amid bombings, or targeting “safe zones” that are later attacked. The blockade of aid, electricity, and fuel has led to famine conditions, with the UN warning of “widespread death” from starvation. Reports of IDF attacks on aid convoys, hospitals, and journalists—such as the bombing of the UN Office in Deir al-Balah and the killing of 15 medics in Rafah—have fueled accusations of indiscriminate or deliberate targeting of civilians.
Some Israeli officials’ statements, like Prime Minister Netanyahu’s reported comment in May 2025 about destroying homes to make Gaza uninhabitable, have been cited as evidence of intent to displace or destroy the Palestinian population. The IDF’s systematic demolition of civilian infrastructure, documented by BBC Verify and others, further supports claims of disproportionate destruction. However, Israel disputes these accusations, arguing that Hamas’s integration into civilian areas necessitates such actions and that its operations comply with international law.
Allegations of Genocide
The term “genocide” is highly contentious and legally specific, defined by the 1948 Genocide Convention as acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group. Accusations against Israel stem from multiple sources:
Conversely, critics of the genocide label, including Israel and some legal scholars, argue:
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has not yet ruled definitively but issued provisional measures in 2024 ordering Israel to prevent genocide, which Israel has been accused of ignoring. The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants in November 2024 against Netanyahu and others for war crimes, but not genocide.
Analysis and Comments
Both Hamas and Israel have contributed to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, but their actions differ in intent, scale, and context. Hamas’s use of civilian infrastructure and human shields deliberately endangers Gazans, and its October 7 attack was a calculated provocation that invited a massive Israeli response. However, the scale of Israel’s military campaign—destroying entire cities, blocking aid, and causing tens of thousands of civilian deaths—has led to credible accusations of disproportionate force and potential genocidal intent. The destruction of 70% of Gaza’s infrastructure and the starvation crisis suggest a policy that, at minimum, disregards Palestinian civilian survival, even if targeting Hamas is the stated goal.
The genocide question hinges on intent, which is difficult to prove definitively. Statements by Israeli officials and the systematic nature of the destruction provide strong evidence for critics, but Israel’s legal defenses and efforts to evacuate civilians complicate the picture.
The conflict’s urban setting and Hamas’s tactics make civilian casualties inevitable, but the extent of Israel’s actions—described as unmatched in 21st-century conflicts—raises serious questions about proportionality and adherence to international law.
Ultimately, both sides have committed war crimes, as noted by human rights groups, but the genocide accusation against Israel remains debated among scholars and courts. The suffering of Gazans—facing starvation, displacement, and loss of life on an unprecedented scale—demands urgent international action, including a ceasefire and unrestricted humanitarian aid, as called for by the UN and others.
Sources
Sources didn’t print . . . don’t know why not.
Sources
People could argue for quite some time, debating over whose definition of “Genocide” will be accepted and whether or not Israel has technically met the conditions for being accused of an attempted genocide of the Gazan people.
What is obvious, however, is that the men, women and children of Gaza are being killed, maimed and starved en masse. This situation really needs some authority with power to step in and force some kind of action that will protect the Gazan people from being destroyed. The solution may be a lengthy cease fire, the forced removal of millions of Gazans (to where?), or some other agreement. But the killing of civilians really needs to stop.
I feel like I must add that I realize that probably the majority, even the vast majority, of the men, women and children of Gaza were rabid Israel haters even before the destruction of Gaza. That, also, is a horrible situation, but it will only be exacerbated by the current Gaza action by Israel.
Last I heard, there were about 2 million Gazans, and about 60,000 committed Hamasites. Whether or not they hate Israel, the optimal course of action for the people of Gaza would be to expel Hamas and the hostages. That they are not doing so and are, instead, whining to the press, the UN, and the French says a lot about the real situation.
Agreed.
Regarding your last sentence, it’s a good thing that nobody could interfere with our WW2 military strategy of firebombing Dresden and Tokyo.
Otherwise we might have lost the war.
Perhaps the destruction of a large number of civilians could be the energizer that would cause a general rebellion against Hamas and result in their expulsion or destruction. But, more’s the pity, I doubt that result is currently in the cards for either Gaza or Hamas.
Nice story, with a chuckle at the end. ~One minute.

Ghislaine Maxwell will plead the Fifth in Epstein House testimony — unless these demands are met: defense lawyer
(emphasis mine)
Would you meet her demands in exchange for her testimony?
Depends on what she can deliver, that would lead to prosecuting pedophiles.
My sole give a damn, regarding Epstein is nailing pedophiles. Posted several times.
I read that she mentioned 100 names or more during her interviews last week. If ANY one of them is a suspected pedophile, then I am 100% in favor of immunity for Maxwell’s testimony.
A pedo who is not in jail is active, almost certainly. Children are at risk from them forever.
My suspicion is that she may be gearing up for “limited hangout cover-up” – which is what a pro spy would be doing. I do not expect “the whole truth” from her.
Well, no, I don’t either. The “whole truth” would include names that our own government doesn’t want exposed. They will support the exclusion of some. But if we get one serial pedophile away from children, that’s a win as far as I’m concerned.
I wonder how long those processes could take.

The people are still struggling in the [CB] economy, remember inflation is cumulative and people have to report to credit to survive. Warn the UK, they have the oil make the common sense move. Business confidence rises. Trump is now taxing the [CB]/[DS] players. The [DS] is keeping the latest shooting in the news, normally if it is not a white person they drop the story, this is to cover for the Russia hoax release. The D’s set many precedents going after Trump, and now Trump is going to use it on them. The D’s said that a President can be impeached once he is out of office, now Trump can use this on Obama. Obama will be tried and impeached at the same time. It will be like he never existed.

And here it is:
Twenty years in the making,
Georgia’s Dominion Rigging Systems DECLARED WRONG WINNER for the May 22, 2024 DeKalb County, Georgia District 2 Commission Primary.
A decision by the election board was made to do a HAND RECOUNT to ensure accurate results of the election.
It only became known because a candidate received no votes in the precinct where she and her husband lived and voted. When she reported the problem to the DeKalb Election Board, they ordered a machine recount that produced the SAME RESULTS AGAIN. They then conducted a hand count of the race that proved the voting system shorted the candidate 3049 of her actual 4078 votes, over 74% of her total votes. The system gave 1456 of her votes to one of her opponents and failed to count another 1805 of her votes.
Ban, dismantle, eliminate, and excommunicate every single voting machine across America.
I have been telling my GOP friends here TN to get rid of Dominion or face the consequences.
That is a white polar bear on the loose.

That’s why women should never be in charge, because you can never settle things man to man with a woman.
That unspoken but universally understood and very much implied threat under which all men operate doesn’t exist for women.
Which means there’s no governor, no emergency brake, no failsafe switch. She’s untouchable.
So if or when a woman in leadership goes rogue, you’re screwed. She can never be physically threatened or challenged to a fight, and she knows it, so she never even thinks about it. She can go full-tyrant at any time, and nobody will knock her ass on the ground.
Which means she can never be held accountable, unless she does something so outrageous that the legal system intervenes.

🚨 JUST IN: Trump DOJ, Assistant AG Harmeet Dhillon have officially found UCLA in violation of the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
FAFO.
“UCLA failed to take timely and appropriate action in response to credible claims of harm and hostility on its campus,” @AAGDhillon said
“Its inaction constitutes a clear violation of our federal civil rights laws, and the Justice Department will hold UCLA accountable to their legal obligations so that all students can have equal protection under the law.”
Well what did they do?!?
How does anyone leave that part out of the story?
Can you imagine if UCLA was creating a hostile environment for black students?
Or for women?
Or for gays, or any of the lmnopqrstuvwxyz+++ ?
Or for American Indians?
Or for India Indians?
Or for Asians?
Or for trannys?
Or for Palestinians?
Or for Hamas?
Or for ISIS?
If it was any of the above, whole cities would be on fire.
Whoever UCLA created a hostile environment for, it must be a matter of top secret national security.
It’s so secret, nobody can even say!

What happens if I survive their Motion to Dismiss?
It means my lawsuit moves forward.
It means a federal judge sees merit.
It means Karen Rochlin doesn’t get automatic immunity.
It means I get to demand evidence, take depositions, and expose the truth.
This isn’t symbolic.
This is real.
And it sets precedent.
#DOJvRyan #J6Truth #ProSePower
May there be many more of these – and may they cost the perpetrators their jobs, assets and freedom – prison time.
A prosecutor has absolute immunity for decisions to prosecute. Quasi-judicial immunity for how s/he conducts the prosecution. Generally, the mere fact that something was done is insufficient; there must be evidence that the prosecutor planned the ‘something’ for an illegal purpose and was using the prosecution as cover. Even then, it’s hard to beat a motion to dismiss.
Don’t hold your breath.
Dear friends
Sunday 3:30 am I awoke and could not breath. About non that day my husband drove me to emergency they took me right away in the back and admitted me to the hospital.
I had water in the lungs and after multi testing and intro vanes procedure they discovered that I had leaky heart valve and they believe I had it since birth. Small part of the heart is weak. I am to old to have a valve replacement but they can put a clip there that will minimize the blood loos to the heart. After I see the heart specialist who then will make an appointment for me at OH State heart clinic. I am not sure when I can get in. For a person who has never been sick in a hospital it was an experience. Poke -poke squeeze was day and night .I was to tired to write on computer. Now I am home last kids left they were here for 5 days. At the moment I am wearing a Zoll life west.
Missed you all 😘
Prayers Sing 🙏
Thank you 🙂

Thank you so much for your update! I’m so glad that you had the immediate situation taken care of. I understand, being in the hospital is the “un-rest cure”, for sure. I hope you can see the heart specialist soon. Sending much Good Energy and Deep Healing to you.
Thank you 🙂

The collateral benefit of a Zoll vest is you get free hugs. 😂
True 😂
What an experience! It’s amazing that you’ve had that since birth without knowing it or experiencing problems from it. I pray you will recover your strength and that they will take care of the situation. Get some rest and take care of yourself. 😊
Thank you. I did get excellent care and was well treated. My doctor son made sure the heart docs were top. The staff gave much love to me I cannot expect more.
I’m just now seeing your reply. I’m glad you have a doctor son who can help at times like this (even though he might not listen about the vaccine, as I think you’ve said). His knowledge and connections are valuable. Prayers for your continued recovery.
Thank you 🙂 Yes it is helpful all people should have help like that doctor son or not.
Oh my goodness! I’m so glad you are ok.
I looked up the Zoll vest. What an interesting life saving tool that is. I’m glad you have one.
I’m sorry you had to be in the hospital. I hated every time I ever had to be there. But I’m glad they caught the problem, and can at least do a “patch.”
You will be in my prayers.
Thank you still feel weak and tired even though I slept well last night.
It’s normally an absolutely fantastic relief to escape being totally subjugated by the innumerable, nocturnal pill pushers and needle prodders that inhabit the hallowed healing halls of our medical establishments. Sooo GOOD to be home!!!
Yes it is and the food is not soothed for people with an heart condition. I ate very little
Oh one does not bathed or take a shower eek
Singing Soul, so sorry to hear what you went through. You will be in my prayers.
Thank you all prayers are appreciated
PRAYERS UP, SWEET LADY !!! 🙏 🙏 🙏

Big purchase today by MicroStrategy (now renamed just ‘Strategy’, same ticker symbol, MSTR). They bought 21,021 Bitcoin. The “21” is symbolic for the total number of Bitcoin that will ever be mined, i.e., 21 million.
They now hold 628,791 Bitcoin in their company treasury. At the current pace, Michael Saylor may be over 700,000 by August / September, and over 800,000 by the end of the year.
I think there are now over 135 publicly traded companies who are now trying to follow MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin acquisition model, but Saylor is ahead of everyone by orders of magnitude. No other company has even 50,000 Bitcoin, if I remember correctly.
Hope he did his research… because he’s looking kind of ‘all in’ at this point… 😂
.
For context, the U.S. government only had 200,000 Bitcoin, from seizures, and the U.S. gov’t had more (at least more declared) than any other nation in the world. So Saylor / MicroStrategy has over three times as much as the biggest bag held by any nation in the world.
I say the U.S. government “had” 200,000 Bitcoin, because last week, some agency in the gov’t reported only around 30,000 and there has been no update or clarification since, so now people suspect that Brandon’s cronies embezzled or sold 170,000 Bitcoin at over $100K each.
And if so, that will definitely be the next criminal scandal.
DJT is scheduled to give a report on the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve on July 30th, so hopefully we will find out just how much (or how little) Bitcoin the government has, what happened to any that is missing, and what the government’s plans are to acquire Bitcoin for the Strategic Reserve.
If 170,000 Bitcoin is missing, there better be legal action taken.
That would also mean that the U.S. gov’t will be practically starting from zero, needing to buy 170,000 Bitcoin just to get back to the amount the gov’t had before the criminals in the Brandon administration looted the Bitcoin on their way out the door.
The market didn’t flinch when Saylor bought 21,000 Bitcoin for around $2.5 billion, but if the U.S. gov’t tries to buy 170,000 or more, that will definitely put upward pressure on the Bitcoin price.

Yours Truly knows the “Strip District” in Pittsburgh well. It’s different now, in part because the steel mills left town 40+ years ago. Perhaps the area will make a great comeback, due to POTUS47 Trump.
The “Strip District” is dominated by the large St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church on 37th Street in Lawrenceville. It was popular with the thousands of steel workers who originated from Poland, Czechosovakia, and other Central European countries who came to Pittsburgh to work in the mills and who were the largest ethnic population of Lawrenceville.
St. Augustine (known locally as “St. Aug’s”), for decades, had a Mass said in Polish every day at 12 Noon. The church would be crowded with mill workers and “Strip District” workers (slaughterhouses, wholesale dry goods and fruits/vegetables places, etc.) I don’t think the church still offers the Polish Mass. In fact, the parish has been incorporated with another parish that serves the Hispanic population of Pittsburgh.
My father used to go sometimes to the 12 Noon Polish Mass on his lunch hour at his pharmacy, the old Kay Drug Store, which was on Butler Street at 42nd St. The Polish Mass was a 30-minute service, with no sermon, and Communion for the priest only.
You bring great history and info, PAVACA. Thanks for sharing that.

Cool Moment: TRUMP with Starmer Lands in Aberdeen and shares LIGHT EXCHANGE with RAF LOSSIEMOUTH COMMANDER on Arrival — Jul 28, 2025
As Trump touched down in Aberdeen en route to his golf course, he shared a warm and respectful moment with Group Captain Sarah Brewin, the Station Commander of RAF Lossiemouth.
Their brief exchange stood out as a rare, friendly interaction during an otherwise high-tension visit.
Group Captain Sarah Brewin, seemingly with a bright and bubbly personality, being quite lively, cheerful, and enthusiastic, made the exchange with the two leaders delightful to watch. Brewin probably can light up any room she enters with such a bright personality.

Office of GOP TN Rep Burchett: “While working on his farm over the weekend, Congressman Burchett was accidently kicked by a horse. He suffered a broken rib and bruising but hasn’t missed a beat. He spoke in Maury County last night and has a full slate of district events throughout the week. There have been no changes to his schedule.”
Burchett tells me a “horsefly” got on the tail of one his horses on Sunday and it got spooked, kicking him in the chest “with both hooves”
Burchett says the doctor told him he’s lucky because it would have been a problem “had it been an inch-and-a-half higher.”
“It’s a cool mark. I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a tattoo,” kidded Burchett.
When is that horse going to the glue factory?
They need to. A horse caused his young daughter to go into ICU at Children’s Hospital three years ago. Broken ribs and wrist. In the hospital for over two weeks.
It’s not the horses’ fault. It’s my experience that people who work with horses a lot get far too comfortable being behind them. Horses are prey animals and are easily spooked. They can’t see behind themselves very well, either. Caution is always warranted.

L.A. County supervisors vote to bar immigration agents from wearing masks
Los Angeles County leaders want to prohibit law enforcement officers from concealing their identities while on duty, a response to recent immigration raids during which some federal agents refused to identify themselves or covered their faces.
The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday voted 4—0, with one abstention, to direct county counsel to draft an ordinance that bars officers, including federal agents, from wearing masks, with limited exceptions such as for medical protection or during undercover operations. Officers would also be required to visibly display identification and agency affiliation while out in public.
Since early June, immigration agents have swarmed Southern California, arresting hundreds of people and prompting protests against the federal raids and the subsequent deployment of the National Guard and Marines. About half the Guard troops and all the Marines were pulled out of LA in recent weeks.
Supervisor Janice Hahn, who co-authored the motion, said the raids carried out by the Trump administration have sparked fear and residents have a right to know who is stopping, questioning or detaining them.
“Across the county, people are being pulled out of their cars, beaten, and ripped from their families by men in tactical gear with balaclavas, no badges, and no names,” Hahn said. “That’s not how law enforcement in a democracy should operate.”

Must Watch – Tucker Carlson Interviews Richard Werner
July 29, 2025
SD: “This is one of those interviews that simply must be watched in its entirety. It’s long, almost 3 hours, but take the quiet time to watch and absorb the information provided by economist Professor Richard Werner.
Werner discusses something absolutely vital to understand about the nature of economics and the banking system that underpins it. You have often heard me say “there are trillions at stake” when describing the elements aligned against President Trump. Well, Werner gives context to what lies behind those trillions.
Nine years ago, as President Elect Trump won his first election, I wrote about the future of economics and the potential if a Main Street monetary and banking system was created. {GO DEEP} Richard Werner discusses the specific issue of how credit creation by regular banks actually creates money. He’s the first person I have seen speak who really gets it.
There are distinct differences between banks creating money for asset purchases (inflation), consumer purchases (inflation) and GDP growth (Main Street expansion). He simply nails it, and that is why he was put on the CIA radar.
When Werner speaks of the need for two distinct banking systems as a solution to the “inflationary” impact of money created for asset purchases vs GDP growth, he is specifically highlighting the difference between Wall Street money and Main Street money. This, in the largest measure, is exactly why President Trump and Secretary Mnuchin created the dual banking system. This is what led to the global pandemic as a tool to stop President Trump.
I cannot recommend this interview enough. However, don’t sell yourself short. Find a quiet place, quiet time, and take notes as you listen to Richard Werner outline the true and unspoken nature of how money is created.
When you understand what Werner is saying, everything the FED and Central Banks do starts to make sense. WATCH:
Behind what Werner is explaining you will find the motives to oppose President Trump. Werner doesn’t draw the connection to Trump’s policies, but when you hear him outline the history and the problem you will get it.”

I had a fun experience near Cincinnati about 30 years ago. One of my friends (girlfriend of one of my friends) was going to college in Cincinnati and lived in Mount something or other. I tried to look it up, and it was probably Mount Adams. She was having a party, and several of our friends from high school were going to be there.
So I was driving, by myself, in my 1980 Toyota Celica, with a carburetor problem. It vapor locked when you turned the engine off, so you couldn’t start it again until the engine had completely cooled.
I had never been to the area, so when I got close to Cincinnati, I took an exit which turned out to be the wrong one. You don’t want to do that in Cincinnati, but I didn’t know any better.
It was a beautiful sunny late afternoon. At the end of the exit ramp was some kind of town, with at least six lanes (3 each direction), but hardly any traffic, like a ghost town. All the convenience stores had bars on the windows.
I was looking for a phone, so I stopped at a convenience store gas station, and left the car running, which was my habit for a long time by that point. I walked up to the convenience store door and pulled the door handle and it was locked.
I heard a window slide open a few feet away, and what looked like a Korean said something to me from behind a barred window. I asked if they had a phone I could use, and he pointed around the side of the building.
So I got in my car, and drove around to the side of the building, where there was a pay phone.
I turned my car towards the street, got out, left the car running, with the door open, and called my friend to find out where I was and how to get to her house.
I’m standing there, on the phone, looking toward the street, and a Chevette rolls up to the gas station pumps about 50-60 feet away, between me and the street.
Five big black guys. All five got out of that little car, and looked at me, and I looked at them. They looked like pro basketball players.
And as luck would have it, one of them said something to the others, reached into the car and took out what looked like a 3 foot metal pipe, and then all five of them started walking right towards me. Like he needed the pipe. Five of them, one of me… and he’s got a PIPE, just in case I’m Chuck Norris 😁
I didn’t have a lot of experience with gang violence, but I sensed something was amiss.
I told my friend I gotta go, I’ll call you back, and hung up. As I hung up the phone the five guys started running toward me.
I jumped in my car, shoved it into first gear and floored that little rice-burner without even closing my door. One guy got close enough to slam his hand down on the trunk of my car as I pulled away with all the fury a 90hp engine with a 100,000 miles on it and a worn out clutch could muster.
I was driving back towards the highway exit, and I saw a single car on the six lane road coming towards me. I watched it turn into another convenience store parking lot, and two white girls got out.
I figured that was my big chance, so I pulled into the same parking lot, drove up next to them, and asked if they knew how to get to Mount Adams. They said they were going that way, and to just follow them.
I mentioned the welcoming party I had just met at the gas station down the road, and they just laughed, and said that happens all the time.
Nice place!
