I first need to do a mini-ground report before getting into the subject of the day. I did a ground report not long ago in a Daily Open that stated tourism was down about 6% around here year to date.
It has caught up and then some.
I would not advise coming here if you do not like to sit in traffic and stand in long, long lines at amusements and nature venues with equal delays in seating at restaurants. Holy Smokies the rampage is underway at a less likely time of year other than Black Friday shopping. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Force are under siege even with the weather turning colder than in years past. Dollywood’s Christmas Celebration with all of the lights and shows are packed like sardines.
For what it is worth, Dolly was reading comments or listening to me and others when I wrote that the cost of annual passes had gone way too high for folks in our region. A major note of appreciation to her and the team. Each year in the offseason periods when there is less overall attendance there are a few days for locals to be let in free, which have been greatly received and appreciated. Those visitors receive access again in the fall for like $5 a ticket if they bring their previously used ticket stub. At that point if they choose to go on and purchase annual passes that are good for the fall and the following year while they are there at the park, they receive a discount. Again, Holy Smokies what a great thing the team did. The annual passes were half off of the normal prices! They also have a military discount. The visitors were even able to pick up the large beverage mugs for free as a nice bonus. Now more of the local folks in the region can enjoy all Dollywood has to offer as well. Our grandkids were ecstatic.
This charitable act will bring more locals in and will give Dollywood a boost in securing employees as well. They are always hiring because they are always growing and expanding.
Through the years I have observed that as tourism goes in our area, so goes the overall economy of our nation and the moods of We the People. There is such a broad representation of people who come here from all over this and other countries that it gives a solid indication of general economic direction. Folks are feeling good about things and spending money. They are believing PDT and the patriots that things are getting better. With the illegal population being removed and crime down significantly in our area, the mood and activity is heading in a very good direction unless you are a local who can no longer get where you need to go in a reasonable period of time.

Will your opinion change or remain the same if POTUS Trump gets behind the effort? It is obviously in the minds of him and other patriots.
Would a rational discussion help? Do we need to claim negative things “could” or “would” happen to make things worse when even having a COS is constitutionally limited in its scope? Many of those things of concern by those opposed cannot even be legally addressed by a COS. Anything that “could” or “would” be approved would be subject to legal challenges all the way to SCOTUS.
The reverse “could” or “would” can also be true. Things “could” or “would” get better or the even law abused to our benefit. How are any of the potential positive or negative abuses any different than how things are now being delivered without having a COS? The effects of having a COS may reduce or eliminate those potential abuses within the scope of COS authority. That would be a very good thing.
Let ‘er rip in the comments if so motivated. Please respond in good faith and use facts to support your argument. As we know, people are informed by many of the posts on here. That is the patriot way to do things, the way our founders used. Most know how I feel. If PDT were to get involved it would just confirm it as the right thing to do in my opinion. His positions are really well thought out even with the few I disagree with him.
As an observation, there will need to be a lot of state legislature conversion and funerals (natural causes, of course) of obstructors before it is likely to happen. Old habits die hard. Perhaps it will be implemented by PDT as part of his overall MAGA plan at some point. Will see.

Time to move down the coast to the Tar Heel State. These two were interesting to say the least. Please spend some time on them. They had “challenges” to deal with just like all of us.
William Hooper
Talk about somebody being “conflicted”, we have a classic in William Hooper.
Let’s start with a good thing. From a letter he wrote to a friend on April 26, 1774:
โThe Colonies are striding fast to independence, and ere long will build an empire upon the ruins of Great Britain; will adopt its Constitution, purged of its impurities, and from an experience of its defects, will guard against those evils which have wasted its vigor.โ
He may have been the first to correctly predict where the patriot movement was going. However, there is more that makes it all and him, well, weird.
Hooper was born in Boston in 1742 to Rev. William Hooper and wife, Mary Dennie Hooper. He was the oldest of their five children. His father was from Scotland and graduated from Edinburgh University as a Congregationalist pastor. He immigrated to the colonies in 1734. In 1740 he left his pastoral role and became an Episcopalian. He returned to London and was ordained by the Church of England. He returned to Boston in 1747 to be a Rector of Trinity Church where he served until his death in 1764.
That was the first sign that being conflicted about something important ran in the Hooper family. Either that or just being opportunistic.
Young William Hooper began his formal education at The Boston Latin School. He did so well that he entered Harvard as a second year student at age 16. He continued to do well academically and graduated with a BA degree and was expected to go into the clergy like his father. Instead he chose a law career. He began studies under James Otis in Boston who was considered a radical. He finished in 1764 and passed the bar. There were so many attorneys in Boston he decided to head to Wilmington, NC.
He opened his office and was successful with wealthy local land owners and fellow attorneys. His reputation grew and he began doing legal work for the colonial government. In 1767 he married Anne Clark, the daughter of a wealthy settler to the region who was the Sheriff. They had three children over the next few years that found him moving up the ranks as deputy AG for the county and later, deputy AG for the colony.
This is when the story of William Hooper turns strange. He was a loyalist in his employment and personal thoughts. As tensions rose in the region he acted to protect the interests of the Crown. One day during a riot, Hooper was drug through the streets by independence movement minded rebels, the Regulators, in Hillsborough. Afterwards he contacted the colonial governor and urged him to use whatever force was necessary to stop the rebels. He even joined British forces in the Battle of Alamance against them in 1771. So you may be wondering how in the world did this guy ended up being a patriot?
During that same 1771-1775 period he also served in the NC General Assembly. He could see the tide turning toward independence and discussed it with associates. He decided to ride the rising tide of independence. He was appointed to the colony’s Committee of Correspondence and later elected to the First Continental Congress. He served on numerous committees there and was elected to return to the Second Continental Congress. He missed the vote to approve the Declaration due to NC government needs, but had returned in time to sign it in August.
In reality, a number of historical accounts said he intended to abstain from voting so he left to avoid confrontation.
His views had not changed overnight or due to a specific event. They evolved slowly over time and remained conflicted as we shall see. He left Congress a year after signing due to financial pressures back home. That is when the crap hit the fan for Hooper and his family. Enraged at him, the Brits under Cornwallis found his two homes in the area and used one to house themselves and the other was burned down. This separated Hooper from his family. He was forced to accept shelter and food from patriot friends for over a year on the run as the Brits attempted to capture him. He contracted malaria during the period and the locals nursed him back to health. His wife was treated cruelly by British soldiers during the period and was in very ill health when she and the children escaped Wilmington and found shelter in Hillsborough with a brother. Finally as the war neared its end they were reunited and settled in Hillsborough as a family, with some of the same patriot families that drug him through the streets years before.
So, who were the real forgivers? Only to, once again, experience the following.
Hooper continued his work with the NC General Assembly into 1783 and restarted his legal career, but lost favor with the patriotic people in the area when he joined the Federalist Party. He continued to assist loyalists in his law firm, which Federalists were known to do. He was so kind in his dealings and treatment of them he was labeled a loyalist himself by the locals. When combined with the actions of his two wealthy brothers, Thomas of Wilmington and George of Charleston, who were doing merchant business with the Brits and considered Tories; it was hard not to see William as one of them. This was cause for great concern with locals despite all of his strong patriot work and signing the Declaration. Some of this work during the revolution involved spies and other clandestine operations for the independence movement in the Continental Congress in Philadelphia working alongside B and other founding fathers.
He was later trusted enough to be made a Federal judge to mediate a border dispute between New York and Massachusetts in 1786. He pushed ratification of the U. S. Constitution in NC over the next two years even as his health declined. He succumbed to illness in 1790 at age 48. He is buried in the Presbyterian Churchyard in Hillsborough. Anne passed away five years later and is buried near her husband. Their house in Hillsborough is registered as a National Historic Landmark.
As readers, do you see what I mean as it being a weird story? A loyalist at the start; a patriot during the movement, war and Constitution enactment; a loyalist at the end of his life; but still useful to American government. A loyalist who was treated as a traitor by the very people he was loyal to much of his life. Some of the patriots who drug him through the streets were who took care of him while on the run from the ones he was formerly loyal to and when he was sick. They are also the people he turned his back on that elected him by becoming a Federalist against their desires. He then went on bending over backwards to help local loyalists, which he continued to do until his death.
In my opinion viewing Hooper’s history presents a variety of contradictory views. He may have missed his calling to be in the clergy as a forgiver of many atrocities, but ineffective reconciler of other with many people. Or maybe he was spying on behalf of American government leaders who were still rooting out elements of British Tory influence. Another view would have him somewhat compromised post war, possibly related to the business dealings of his Tory supporting brothers. Another option could be that he was just a head case wacko. ๐ Perhaps readers can come up with some more views I missed. If I was compelled to guess at what caused most of his conflicted behavior I would go with:
Follow The Money.
I am not sure I can fully endorse Hooper’s unquestioned commitment to America because it appears he would have been happy to leave things as they were pre civil unrest and revolution. However, that may be too simple of a conclusion. The situation is just weird.
As a result I am going with he is a patriot signer of the Declaration of Independence who sacrificed much for his commitment to sign that document.
The next signer’s tale is one for the ages. He was never conflicted, he was one of us.
John Penn
Unlike his famous Pennsylvania namesake, John Penn of North Carolina came from more modest circumstances. He was born to Moses and Catherine Taylor Penn near Port Royal, VA in 1741.
I agree with several sources about John Penn of NC. It is a shame a handful of the 56 most important founding fathers who risked everything and became traitors to the mother country to lead colonists to independence; are treated as nothings or just blips on the screen of American history. It is disgraceful that many historians have done so with Penn. I believe patriots who were nearly lynched and gave all they had within themselves in their incredible service to America deserve a much more prominent place in our history.
I will do so here.
His related Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration site gives a compelling account that cannot be adequately summarized here. The link is posted below. It gives insights that are not normally given by other traditional historical sources. You may find that you agree with my assessment that he was a great person as well as patriot.

He stood strong when the other representatives of NC were wavering in their support of approving the Declaration. He delivered governing and military leadership to NC during the war when other military and government leaders literally ran (rode) away as cowards and abandoned their duties. He endured great suffering and gave up his health with a positive attitude and American spirit that did not quit. At one time he was to duel an older political adversary and in the course of doing so showed compassion and respect. He came away with a friend instead of a tragedy. I have not read any story of a founder quite like that of John Penn.
Without reservation we salute and thank John Penn for his commitment to the patriot cause.

Now look at this: The chart on Article V shows that James Madison, Father of our Constitution, remarked on the vagueness of the term, โcall a Convention for the purposeโ:

Congress, pursuant to Article V and Article I, ยง8, last clause, has the constitutional power to answer all these questions by means of a law.
Folks! The Farris/Natelson/ Levin camp is not telling you the truth when they say the States decide these issues!
2. Farris then says in his video:

Here is the false part of what he said:
It was not the consensus at the Federal Convention of 1787 that the purpose of Article V was so States could make amendments to the Constitution in order to take power away from a federal government which had usurped power by violating the Constitution.
This chart shows what happened at the Federal Convention of 1787 re development of Article V.
Two delegates (Randolph & Mason, who didnโt sign the Constitution) supported the notion that amendments might be used if the national government should become oppressive. And they didnโt want Congress to have any power over amendment procedures. Their view was the minority view.
Other delegates (Gov. Morris, Hamilton & Madison) thought Congress ought to be able to propose amendments. One delegate (Mr. Gerry) worried about States obtaining a convention and binding the Union to innovations which subverted State Constitutions. Hamilton spoke of amendments to correct defects which would probably appear in the Constitution.
So the final version of Article V provides two methods of proposing amendments to the Constitution. Congress either:
Proposes the amendments; orโCallsโ a convention when the Legislatures of 2/3 of the States apply for it. [Now see Art. I, ยง8, last clause.]Now for the silly parts of what Farris said (and there are two silly parts):
3. Farris tells us the solution to a federal government which โoverstep[s] its boundariesโ [violates the Constitution] is to amend the Constitution.
He proposes โto take power away from Washington D.C.โ [power the federal government has usurped] by โrecalibrate[ing] the rulesโ.
In other words, the solution to a federal government which violates the Constitution is to amend the Constitution.
Do you see how silly this is?
4. Farris and his camp also imply that the States are victims of federal tyranny, and are the virtuous & wise ones who can fix our Country if they can just get a convention to propose amendments.
But the States are the ones who sold you out to the federal government in the first place! Iโll show you:
The 10th Amendment says:
What happened to these reserved powers?
The States sold them to the federal government.
Letโs use education as an illustration of how the States sold to the federal government your reserved power to educate your own children in the way you see fit.
The Creator God who, as recognized by our Declaration of Independence, endowed us with unalienable rights; assigned to parents the responsibility to provide for the education & moral instruction of their children: Proverbs 1:8-9, 6:20-21, 13:1, 22:6 & 23:19-22; Genesis 18:19; Deuteronomy 4:9-10 & 6:1-7; Ephesians 6:1-4; 2 Timothy 1:5 & 3:15-17.
Is โeducationโ one of the enumerated powers delegated to the federal government for the Country at large? No. So the federal government has no constitutional authority to get involved. Accordingly, all acts of Congress pertaining to education for the Country at Large, the federal Department of Education, and all their rules & programs are unconstitutional as outside the scope of powers delegated to the federal government.
So why does the federal government dictate all things respecting education?
Because your States sold your God-given responsibility to educate your own children โ and your reserved power to do so โ to the federal government. This has been going on for a long time; but most recently your State sold you out for federal grants with the federal governmentโs โrace to the topโ and โcommon coreโ schemes. 7
You have to be ignorant, unthinking, & gullible โ a greenhorn โ to believe that The States are the men in the white hats who can fix all this with a convention to propose amendments.
Conclusion
The federal government is not the problem โ it is the result of our own ignorance, pride and folly.
WE THE PEOPLE, who are โthe natural guardians of the Constitutionโ (Federalist No. 16, next to last para) didnโt trouble ourselves to learn the enumerated powers of Congress and the President. Do you know them?
I ask my Readers who have been supporting the โconvention of Statesโ scheme: Have you studied our Founding Principles set forth in The Declaration of Independence? Have you studied the text of the Constitution so that you know what it says?
If not, how are you qualified to know how to โfixโ a Constitution you never learned?
Are you willing to stake your lives & liberties, and those of your progeny, on whether those in the Barnett/Natelson/Farris/ Levin camp (1) know what they are talking about, and (2) are telling the truth?
Why? Because you like them? Because they provide a scapegoat which permits you to blame-shift? And you think you can โget evenโ?
Wise voices in this Country are warning you about the scam. Foremost among them is Phyllis Schlafly, who has been warning of this danger for decades. Yet, such is the ignorant conceit of the greenhorns that they sneer at those who are warning them.
I trust you now see the connection between the moral corruption of a People and tyranny.
On a Convention of States, I think Publius Huldah (Joanna Martin, J.D.) has a very good explaination about WHY an AMENDMENT is the correct route and not a Convention of the States.
In a nutshell a Convention of States makes the current Constitution NULL & VOID and writes a BRAND NEW CONSTITUTION!

Publius gets into those “weeds” I mentioned, enlightening me, at least, on issues that I was not aware of and showing that there are ulterior motives behind the effort. On the surface, it’s all sunshine and roses, a solution to the problems we now face; but when you dig deeper, it becomes obvious that there is a lot more to it and there are red flags everywhere.
I’m having a hard time thinking of a name of even one “statesman” I would trust to preserve the Constitution during such a process. I trust Pres. Trump to have the right motives, but he is not a lawyer and would not be hands-on. Others lack some quality: they are not Constitutional scholars, their understaing of the law is insufficient, they might be bought off, they are not knowledgeable about the consequences of what they would be doing, they might be infiltrators in disguise, they might be telling us one thing while thinking they know best and trying to talk us into something, etc.
I agree with Publius that any changes we make should be by adhering to the enumerated powers in the Constitutionโand that’s drilling her material down to one statement. She has a wealth of information.

That’s because one doesn’t exist. The only man that might come close is Clarence Thomas. The problem is, no one person could or would have the ultimate authority. That would never be allowed.

Also we have a solution — IT IS CALLED AMENDMENTS.
That in and of it’s self tells you they are trying to slip something by us.
Why our “Constitutional conservatives” are not proposing and pushing AMENDMENTS is the real question. We could have a medical freedom amendment. We could have a clear immigration amendment. We could have a clear Presidential Eligibility Amendment.
Demmunists have abused the easy Amendments in Ohio. Why don’t conservatives start USING Amendments nationally?
As far as I am concerned Mark Levin and others pulled a Bait & Switch. People are aware of Amendments but few are aware of what a Convention of the States actually is AND that it REPLACES the current Constitution with a brand new one.
I have never trusted Levin since I saw the info about his supporting a Convention of the States over at the CTH almost a decade ago.

I agree with you on all of the above, and I would add one thing:
Demoncrats currently are not even interested in following the Constitution as written. Why do we think changing it would mean anything to them?
Demmunists would not even agree to the process unless it was held in a place where the fake news media and violent radicals would be able to influence the process.
IMO a Convention requires trust. January 6, 2021 comes to mind. That’s how much we can trust them.

I’d love to see a side-by-side chart or graph of the death rates of COVID for the various groups versus the death rate of the clot shot. The disagreement on whether a person is a citizen if their parents are not has yet to be decided by the Supreme Court, which is the only way it can ever really be settled, in my opinion.

As an investigative journalist whoโs spent years exposing government overreach, corporate fraud, and media manipulations, Iโm trained to recognize signs of deceptionโ when others are victims. But I was recently targeted in an elaborate con that exploited cutting-edge artificial intelligence to convincingly mimic the voices and identities of President Donald Trump and his chief of staff, Susie Wiles.
This wasnโt a crude prank; it was a sophisticated ruse apparently designed to extract money.
It also targeted other national figures, including some former Trump administration officials, raising alarms about the vulnerability of supposedly secure communications like Signal and the daunting potential of AI in everyday fraud.
Read on for details.
For me, the scam began on November 12, when a text arrived on my regular cell phone from a number purporting to be that of Susie Wiles:
โSharyl letโs schedule a Signal call. My Signal no is 202[redacted]. You have a message from the President. Thank you. Susie. Chief of Staff.โ
At the time, I was awaiting White House approval for a long-pending interview request with President Trump. Though Wiles isnโt typically the point person for such scheduling, the message seemed plausible amid the post-election transition buzz. I opened up my Signal app and added the Wiles number, initiating what would become a week of phone tag.
Each time I answered an incoming call from the Wiles number, the line would drop abruptly. When I called back, the call wouldnโt connect, but a quick text from the number would follow: excuses about being in meetings or promises to reschedule.
By November 23, after several back-and-forth attempts, the Wiles persona texted:
โGood morning Sharyl. You have a message from the POTUS. I will send it to you in the next hour.โ
What followed was a 12-second audio clip on Signal, sent from the same Wiles-linked number, in a voice that eerily matched hers:
โApologies, uh, for not taking your call. The Secret Service restricts my calls. Itโs not easy working with them. I will call you later in the day. Thank you.โ
Then came another audio recording from the same thread, titled โFROM THE POTUS.โ It was a voice unmistakably like President Trumpโs, though the recording showed clear signs of editingโhalting pauses and a scripted feel that I initially chalked up to legal vetting for multiple recipients. The message said:
โHi Sharyl. I am considering appointing you to the board of Tik Tok. Uh, you, Baron and other board members will control the entire Tik Tok operation and you will be awarded shares as a director board member. We will discuss figures and details when we meet here. We privately hired a Chinese firm to regularize all board members. Susie will guide you on what to do. Thank you.โ
Follow-up texts from the Wiles number continued:
โThe POTUS will meet you after Thanksgiving. I will send you a meeting invitation letter from the POTUS.โ
Next, the scammer asked for my help contacting another national figureโsomeone I didnโt know personally:
โHe will join your meeting with the POTUS,โ the text read, referring to the other figure. โPlease call and give him my Signal number.โ
I declined to do so, finding the request odd. And when I questioned the persistent call dropouts, the response from the Wiles persona stated:
โItโs because of our security network. Blocks unknown numbers. I have added your number to my safest. The blocking will stop in a few days.โ
Next, the Wiles number texted:
โWe will regularise you and prepare you for the meeting with the POTUS on December 8 with other nominated Board members. The meeting will be held in the WhiteHouse Rose Garden.โ
And then, on Thanksgiving day, an audio recording in Susie Wilesโ voice:
โHappy Thanksgiving. The POTUS is not pleased with your delay. Um, he wants you to buy your minimum shares immediately and and get regularized by the consultant. Thank you.โ
I texted back, stating โI donโt know what you are referring to.โ
I also asked for the person to confirm her identity by texting me via President Trumpโs actual phone number. Instead of doing so, the Wiles persona sent a barrage of unsolicited documents: personal information, resumes, photos, and even scanned passports from other supposed Tik Tok board nominees. I contacted one of the listed individuals. He confirmed heโd also been targeted by the scam, and had alerted some of his administration contacts.
But what is most interesting is that soon after, an audio recording arrived on Signal from a number thatโs genuinely used by President Trump, in what โ again โ sounded like his authentic voice.
โUh, Happy Thanksgiving, Sharyl. I instructed every board member to buy minimum shares worth $100,000. Susie will guide you on the purchase process. thank you.โ
Shortly after, the Wiles number chimed in on Signal via text:
โI am sure the POTUS sent you a message on SignalโฆI will send you instructions on how to buy the shares on Sunday.โ
I replied: โI donโt think so.โ
Although the dollar amounts requested in the scam are notableโ$21,500 upfront plus $100,000 in โsharesโโ itโs the execution of the fraud that is most remarkable. The voices (to me) were near-perfect, perhaps generated by AI deepfake tools that require just seconds of source audio, abundant online for public figures like Trump and Wiles. The scammers somehow mirrored Trumpโs real number for that final audio, compromising Signalโs end-to-end encryption in a way that bypassed basic safeguards.
Who is responsible for coordinating and accomplishing all of this?
Deepfake voice scams have exploded, with global financial losses said to top $200 million in the first quarter of 2025 alone.
In one case last June, scammers cloned Secretary of State Marco Rubioโs voice to contact foreign ministers and U.S. officials via fake Signal accounts, mimicking his style to push bogus directives.
Earlier this year, Wiles herself was targeted when her phone was breached, leading to impersonated calls to senators and executives.
Last year, a UK energy firm lost โฌ220,000 in 2024 after an AI-cloned CEO voice tricked an employee into a wire transfer. Even celebrities like Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson have issued warnings about deepfakes using their likenesses for scams.
Over 845,000 U.S. imposter scams reported last year alone and incidents surged nearly fourfold early this year. Tools for cloning voices are now free or cheap online, often marketed as โentertainmentโ for pranks but weaponized for vishingโvoice phishing.
The scam using President Trumpโs voice and phone number came with odd requests and financial demands. But imagine a subtler version: a deepfake urging policy leaks, vote suppression, or classified info sharing.
As Iโve reported for years on Full Measure, technology amplifies deception when unchecked. Based on my experience, I wonder if there will even be a serious investigation of what Iโve described with this scam. There was no apparent interest in the FBI or local law enforcement trying to track down the people perpetrating potentially deadly swatting attacks on me and my family members earlier this year. My bank account was wiped out this past week; a common follow-on to swatting attacks, Iโm told. And still no interest by the FBI or Department of Justice in accountability for the forensically-proven government spying on me and my family over a decade ago.
Now, we must all be mindful: voices are a new currency in the AI age. Con artists can spoof phone numbers. โSecureโ messaging via Signal is not secure, after all.
From financial hits to national security threats, much could be at riskโ especially if those responsible for investigating donโt figure out how to step up their game.

Honestly, people are going to HAVE TO learn some discernment in this brave new world. If the “voice” on the line is saying something you can be pretty sure they would NEVER say, then it is NOT REAL.

“Had I not gone in and listened to my doctors and made sure that I got that PET scan to follow up, we would have never found this carcinoma … and I could be in a world of hurt. This could have progressed immensely, and I would be in trouble.”

Section 3 has been invoked three times:
Section 3 ought to have been invoked the day pResident Slackjaw was sworn in. It is a matter of testimony that they knew he was mentally incompetent, the only dispute is over the precise date WHEN they knew.
But for certain, the date at which all of them knew the pResident was incompetent was long before the 11th hour pardons occurred.
So those pardons were not, and could not have been, authorized by pResident Brandon, and there is no official record showing that he did, because no such record could exist.
Ergo, those pardons (and many other orders) were issued by wicked servants, doing their own will, without any lawful Authority to do so.
Further, IIRC, it has been credibly alleged that these same wicked servants were selling those last minute pardons at $250K a pop.
None of this can be allowed to stand.
It is a mockery of the rule of Law.

My provision will strengthen this accountability and transparency to deter this illegal weaponization and it passed out of the House Intelligence Committee in this Congress and previous ones. Yet House Republicans continue to get rolled by the deep state due to opposition by Jamie Raskin. If Republicans canโt deliver accountability and legislative fixes to arguably the biggest illegal corruption and government weaponization issue of all time, then what are we even doing. This language is even more essential in light of the continued weaponization of the federal government evidenced by the sweeping Arctic Frost wiretapping scandal and the recent illegal leaks of Steve Witkoffโs conversations with foreign counterparts.
Unless this provision is added back into the bill to prevent illegal political weaponization of the intelligence community in our elections, I am a HARD NO. I have always voted in support of the defense and intelligence authorization bills, but no more.

Oil and gasoline prices are expected to decline next year, according to the latest forecast from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The EIA published its November Short-Term Energy Outlook last month, which projected that the price of Brent crude oil will decline from $69 a barrel in 2025 to $55 a barrel next year. That would be well below the $81 per barrel that prevailed in 2024.
Gas prices are also projected to continue their decline into next year. Retail gas prices averaged $3.30 a gallon in 2024 and are at $3.10 a gallon this year, but are projected to decline further to $3 a gallon in 2026, according to the EIA’s report.

I am so new at the Christian thing that I am super wary of influences of any kind. All it takes for me is one respected source telling me not to read a certain author, for example, and that’s it, I won’t read them anymore. I have quit a Bible study at church because it wasn’t strictly Biblical enough.
I think I’m like people who quit smoking, and all of a sudden can’t even look at cigarettes without getting up on a soapbox about the dangers. People like that pastor are risky business. If somebody the congregation likes and respects is all of a sudden blatantly sinning like that, it can corrupt everybody before they know it. A lot of churches are that way now. It starts with little things, and ends up with a tranny pretending to be a man of God. Surely that wasn’t the first red flag moment in that church. There’s probably been alphabet people bullshit all over it for years.
So that’s the dilemma. When does a person get up and start shouting about sin in their church? When it’s the little things, or when the pastor runs right off the rails?
