 This Night before Daughn Thursday 20191003 Open Thread is officially Open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA / KAG! / KMAG world (KMAG being a bit of both MAGA and KAG! You can say what you want, comment on what other people said, and so on.

Free Speech is practiced here. ENJOY IT. Use it or lose it. Keep it SOMEWHAT civil. They tried to FORCE fake Orwellian civility on us. In response, we CHOOSE true civility to defend our precious FREEDOM from THEM. Our rules began with the civility of the Old Treehouse, later to become the Wolverinian Empire, and one might say that we have RESTORED THE OLD REPUBLIC – the early high-interaction model of the Treehouse – except of course that Q discussion is not only allowed but encouraged, and speech is considerably freer in other ways. Please feel free to argue and disagree with the board owner, as nicely as possible.

Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined here in the January 1st open thread. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven.

Welcome to the sports of October thread.

Well, the sports where the players actually respect the flag, anyway,

And in that spirit, here is the first lady of the national radio airwaves, and, back in the day, a staple anthem singer at the Philadelphia Flyers games, presenting Irving Berlin’s great hymn to the nation.

And this gracious and remarkable woman was called racist decades after she passed on to her reward. Shameful.

Okay, so here’s the deal. This is the open thread. This is where we all come to get the news that other Q tree inhabitants think is worth knowing and sharing. Please, post links to any “news” stories quoted, and ask for help if you are stumped as to how to do that. We’re a friendly lot. Someone will be with you shortly, and there is no reason to have to press one for English.

Free speech, and the open exchange and hashing out of ideas is not only allowed, but encouraged. If we all don’t use it, we’re going to lose it. A little incivility goes a long way, though.

  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And yet all the big players seem to have no serious interest or ability in building an internet that provides good value, security and privacy at scale. And every single one seems to have curious founders and beginnings associated with persons involved with government agencies of various stripes.
The worst offenders need no elaboration. In the early days we loved to hate Micro$oft, Yahuuuu, and Netscrape. Now we worry about Faceborg’s over the top invasive data collection, with it even trying to contract with hospitals to get personal medical records! Their interest in collecting everything on everyone certainly should bring a smile of delight from the control freaks that want to run the planet.
In the run up to the 2020 Elections the ways in which our voices are silenced will likely be beyond belief. If there ever was a time to pray for God to place his hand on the technologies such that they serve his purposes, now is that time.

Another excessively large and questionable player, the Goolag, loves to build everything in a way that allows data collection on pretty much everything they touch.

Our VSG Lion PDJT has made sport of our enemies using the online media giant I like to call Twister, even using it to call out the service when it shut down the accounts of James Woods and Mary Ann Mendoza (among others). We should all be infuriated by their heavy handed ways that distort, throttle and even silence the voice of our conservative Patriot “digital army.”

With all that said, the hidden 500 pound Gorilla controlling much of the internet today is a company called CloudFlare. You many not even know how much power they wield over much of the global internet traffic. They have built a global infrastructure that virtually replaces the federation model of an internet run by multiple providers at every layer. This puts way too much power into the hands of a small number of technocrats.

They took a lot of heat in their early days for not deplatforming a controversial site, and in the end they did indeed remove support for the site–on a whim of the CEO. And have more recently been in the news for deplatforming 8chan.

But make no mistake, the concerns over CloudFlare run far deeper than the ability to stop providing DDoS protection services. Some have suggested that the addition of certain new board members this past spring, may have been a factor in the decision to join in the smear campaign (and all out attack) on the home of the Qanon message board. That may be, but you can be sure that there have been many pressures to take sides in this war.

CloudFlare is now the Man-in-the-Middle of nearly everything that is on the internet. That means they can block access to site content,  spy on everything that goes through their world-wide server network, and give higher paying customers faster internet traffic routing with faster results.

Calendar side note: Today is also the beginning of the festival celebrated in India called Navaratri (meaning nine nights). It’s definitely not a Christian event, but Christians in the Indian culture do sometimes participate. Top line: it’s a celebration of good triumphing over evil. Under the hood: this is a purely Hindu festival with goddesses receiving worship as the heroines in the struggle against the demons of their mythology. What Trumps Intelligence?

There’s been much talk of research into artificial intelligence (AI) being important to various nations for national security reasons. We’ve seen recent speculation about body doubles or even clones for some influential but elderly persons.

There has been discussion about the work of researchers here and abroad attempting to merge human and machine as the next step in our evolution. And some independent voices have been suggesting that those who desire power and dominion in our world are seeking methods for creating soulless humanoids that would be easier to control.

Let’s ask some questions about the appropriateness of the focus of these discussions. Are youth, embodiment and intelligence actually the keys to much of anything after all?

Let’s talk about I.Q. Around the same time as eugenics became a hot topic among the (godless) elite in academia (Salk, Stanford), the all -hallowed TESTING (Wolf!) of children to identify those with high I.Q. was pursued as the way towards the best future for humanity. In fact, this was the beginning of almost 50 years of forced sterilization or even institutionalizing of supposed low I.Q. women to prevent them from creating more “low I.Q.” children.
A sad and shameful blight on our history based on wrong thinking that did not prove out. Did you know that activism and papers written here in the USA at that time became the inspiration for Hitler’s eugenics programs?

However, you have likely seen for yourself that a very clever person who has not developed genuine strength of character is often merely a more successful predator and/or criminal.
Later research was published indicating that your I.Q. score has little or no correlation to success or fulfillment in real life. The willingness to apply oneself, develop skills and good character traits all come into play when looking at the basis for enjoying a good life.
Some researchers still think those with high I.Q. have better success in life, but admit they may struggle more with certain health issues.

May I propose that what actually trumps the #FAKE siren song of increasing our INTELLIGENCE will be elicited by discarding the FAILED materialistic model of reality pushed on us by #FAKE SCIENCE and returning to the world view of the mystics where reality is found in a living, energetic, conscious universe.


Returning to such a world view immediately remedies many of the evils of this present age–nearly effortlessly. If the universe itself and all that inhabits it are energetically and consciously interconnected, then everything matters, everything is to be given a voice, some consideration, a say in the process in which we find ourselves.

With a holy awe silencing our drives to mold the world into that which would please ourselves the most, we begin to allow the more subtle essences of Creation to guide us.

We do not abuse others, using them for our pleasure with a total disregard for the consequences such soul-stealing acts initiate within and around all that is touched by the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical darkness we are empowering.
We become more thoughtful when we encounter ethical questions about killing babies in the womb, snowflake babies, IVF, human cloning, baby farms, sexual abuse of babies and children, the use of embryonic stem cells in vaccines, the use of aborted baby tissue in cosmetics, the suggestion of outright cannabalism as a solution for “climate change.”
If all of Creation is an interconnected, conscious and living Unity, we cannot respond as Cain and say, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” as that implies we have the power to “divorce” ourselves from the greater totality of existence. To vainly attempt to create our own mini-universe where we happily exclude all that we personally reject about reality.

Not even satan has succeeded in fully escaping the winsome pull of the beauty and sheer goodness of Heaven’s essence which are embedded holographically into the very smallest quarks in Creation and it has driven him mad. We become fools if we imagine we have the power to do so ourselves.

This Night before Daughn THURSDAY 20190912 Open Thread is very open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA / KAG! / KMAG world (KMAG being a bit of both MAGA and KAG!).

You can say what you want, comment on what other people said, and so on.

Free Speech is practiced here. ENJOY IT. Use it or lose it.

Keep it SOMEWHAT civil. They tried to FORCE fake Orwellian civility on us. In response, we CHOOSE true civility to defend our precious FREEDOM from THEM.

Our rules began with the civility of the Old Treehouse, later to become the Wolverinian Empire, and one might say that we have RESTORED THE OLD REPUBLIC – the early high-interaction model of the Treehouse – except of course that Q discussion is not only allowed but encouraged, and speech is considerably freer in other ways.

Please feel free to argue and disagree with the board owner, as nicely as possible. Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined here in the January 1st open thread. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven.

Dear KAG: 20190911 Open Thread

Before going any farther, grab a hankie and/or a box of tissues. This was real life, not a Lifetime movie, but will yield the same results.

NEVER FORGET!

Usually, a piece of music which is upbeat and driving goes in this space. Not today. Today we remember the thousands who were killed in the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil in our history, a day that forever changed our world. That being the case, this morning’s musical offering is one so haunting and stirring that the International Olympic Committee appropriated it. (Please ignore the subtitles. This is the best of the American orchestras available on video.)

If time permits the reader, an award winning piece was composed by American John Adams using the words of the people of New York, those left behind, who wrote notes to the lost and left them at Ground Zero. The piece is very modern, but worth a listen once. Being part of a chorus singing it in the venue featured above (Carnegie Hall) was a hot, sweaty, but rewarding experience.

Okay, so here’s the deal. This is the open thread. This is where we all come to get the news that other Q tree inhabitants think is worth knowing and sharing. Please, post links to any “news” stories quoted, and ask for help if you are stumped as to how to do that. We’re a friendly lot. Someone will be with you shortly, and there is no reason to have to press one for English.

Free speech, and the open exchange and hashing out of ideas is not only allowed, but encouraged. If we all don’t use it, we’re going to lose it. A little incivility goes a long way, though. Please, avoid fighting if you can help it. (Will return to the Hollywood fight scenes on a less solemn day.)

There are a few rules here in the branches of the Q Tree. Our host, Wolfm00n, outlined them in a post on New Years Day. Please, review these rules the next time you are in a TSA line and need to remember why flight security is such an ordeal.

Steve suggests – to be accurate – no shooting at the nuclear weapons, but to be safe about it, don’t event point firearms toward them. I, Deplorable Patriot, bossy chick that I am, request no teasing the animals, pets and wildlife alike.

Teasing and trolling the lefties and their bastions is always a moral imperative, but for today, we remember.

Third Chapter of St. Paul’s Letter to the Colossians:

Today, we remember….

I know Tom Hanks is the narrator, but this story talks about how Americans come together in the face of tragedy to help each other. It’s what we do. This story was not told until much later than September 11, 2001, but still, it’s pretty amazing.

Never forget.
