A Caution
Just remember…we might replace the RINO candidates. (Or we might not. The record is mixed even though there is more MAGA than there used to be.) Well, it’s not politics. But this is where I usually stick science stuff (when I can think of something to write about) or maybe even math, so…This one has been going around on YouTube, with plenty of reaction videos from real mathematicians and scientists watching, delighted at all of the hidden references and the visuals. It touches a LOT on the sorts of things I talked about in my recent series on numbers that culminated in Gauss’s Formula and Identity.

Friends in San Jose had a small ranch, all fenced. They had two or three German Shepherd Dogs. The youngest liked to lick their cat named Cheeseball. Understandable. The cat would sometimes be totally wet with doggy slobber.

@MathOverChemistry I believe 13:14 is euler calculating the valume of the sphere orange is in. and turning himself complex makes it -1. I dont really understand why but I got that from a video explaining the math shows in the video.
You have to multiply by zero to correct for dividing by zero 🙂

I thought dividing by zero would be infinity but I think Steve has said previously that dividing by zero is undefined or perhaps not allowed…
Basically both of the above.
There are fake mathematical proofs that 1=2 out there; all the steps look like good algebra but one step, it turns out, is a division by zero, which invalidates the whole thing.
Here’s an example:
1) Let a = b
2) So a^2 = ab (you’ve just multiplied both sides by a)
3) add a^2 to both sides: a^2 + a^2 = a^2 + ab
4) combine terms: 2a^2 = a^2 + ab
5) subtract 2ab from both sides: 2a^2 – 2ab = a^2 – ab
6) Bring out the 2 on the left hand side: 2(a^2-ab) = a^2-ab
7) now divide both sides by (a^2-ab): 2=1.
The problem is in step seven, you’re dividing by zero. In fact, because a and b are assumed to be equal, as of step 5, both sides of the equation are zero. But only zero can fulfil the equation 2x=x. If you don’t realize x is zero it looks like 2 = 1.
You get an A+ for a simple easy to understand explanation.

You & I tend to be “truth tellers” but that can also be used to bludgeon people, at least in my case irl, I can be just Too Direct & Blunt & inadvertently hurt people’s feelings.
My hubby can, when not angry, often speak more lovingly, but not necessarily always truthfully. When he’s pissed he’ll sometimes let fly with what he Really thinks, the unvarnished “truth” & there isn’t much love in that type of blast. We are ironic opposite bookends 🙂

My experience with being, by nature, a “naysmith”, in the real world is that it is rarely valued. Believe me, few people, perhaps in particular in “church”, embrace a truth-teller, especially if the “prophet” is female!

This just seems to be how I’m wired or designed or created. Kind of funny that the word used in Horus Rising is NaySmith. Being a genealogist, I’m aware of surname patterns, including those based on historical occupations. The Smith line of names hearkens back to those blacksmithing kind of trades. Part of Smithing would be heating & pounding metal to shape & purify it. That is perhaps what a NaySmith does, not with metal but with words & ideas…
We once watched a documentary on the nearly lost art of ancient Sword Making, to get the kind of sword featured in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Both my husband & I were struck by the spiritual analogies of the swordsmith to the iron sharpens iron aspect of Christian living. God is also described as a refiner’s fire in scripture…there are so many good truths around us when we open our eyes, & ears, & hearts to what He might be whispering to our souls in our own personal language of the heart…

Founded in 1947 by members of the Tavistock network in the United States and located originally on an estate in Bethel, Maine, NTL had as its explicit purpose the brainwashing of leaders of the government, educational institutions, and corporate bureaucracies in the Tavistock method, and then using these “leaders” to either themselves run Tavistock group sessions in their organizations or to hire other similarly trained group leaders to do the job. The “nuts and bolts” of the NTL operation revolves around the particular form of Tavistock degenerate psychology known as “group dynamics,” developed by German Tavistock operative Kurt Lewin, who emigrated to the United States in the 1930s and whose students founded NTL.

Using the peer pressure of other group members, the individual is “cracked,” and a new personality emerges with new values. From the mid-1950s onward, NTL put the majority of the nation’s corporate leaderships through such brainwashing programs, while running similar programs for the State Department, the Navy, the Department of Education, and other sections of the federal bureaucracy. There is no firm estimate of the number of Americans who have been put through this process in last 40 years at either NTL, or as it is now known the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Sciences, which is based in Rosslyn, Virginia, or its West Coast base of operations, the Western Training Laboratories in Group Development, or in various satellite institutions. The most reliable estimate is in the several millions.
One of the groups that went through the NTL mill in the 1950s was the leadership of the National Education Association, the largest organization of teachers in the United States. Thus, the NEA’s outlook has been “shaped” by Tavistock, through the NTL. In 1964, the NTL Institute became a direct part of the NEA, with the NTL setting up “group sessions” for all its affiliates. With funding from the Department of Education, the NTL Institute drafted the programs for the training of the nation’s primary and secondary school teachers, and has a hand as well in developing the content of educational “reforms,” including OBE.
Also known as the International Institute for Applied Behavioral Sciences. This institute is a brainwashing center in artificial stress training whereby participants suddenly find themselves immersed in defending themselves against vicious accusations. NTL takes in the National Education Association, the largest teacher group in the United States. While officially decrying “racism”, it is interesting to note that NTL, working with NEA, produced a paper proposing education vouchers which would separate the hard-to-teach children from the brighter ones, and funding would be allocated according to the number of difficult children who would be separated from those who progressed at a normal rate. The proposal was not taken up.
University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance & Commerce Founded by Eric Trist One of the “brain trusts” of Tavistock, Wharton has become one of the more important Tavistock in so far as “Behavioral Research” is concerned. Wharton attracts clients such as the U.S. Department of Labor—which teaches how to produce “cooked” statistics at the Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates Incorporated. This method was very much in demand as we came to the close of 1991 with millions more out of work than was reflected in USDL statistics. Wharton’s ECONOMETRIC MODELING is used by every major Committee of 300 company in the United States, Western Europe, the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations, and the World Bank. Institute for Social Research Among its clients are The Ford Foundation, U.S.Department of Defense, U.S.Postal Service and the U.S. Department of Justice. Among its studies are “The Human Meaning Of Social Change”, “Youth in Transition” and “How Americans View Their Mental Health”.
Institute For The Future This is not a typical Tavistock institution in that it is funded by the Ford Foundation, yet it draws its long-range forecasting from the mother of all think tanks. Institute for the Future projects what it believes to be changes that will be taking place in time frames of fifty years. So called “DELPHI PANELS” decide what is normal and what is not, and prepare position papers to “steer” government in the right direction to head off such groups as “people creating civil disorder.” (This could be patriotic groups demanding abolition of graduated taxes, or demanding that their right to bear arms is not infringed.) This institute recommends action such as liberalizing abortion laws, drug usage and that cars entering an urban area pay tolls, teaching birth control in public schools, requiring registration of firearms, making use of drugs a non-criminal offense, legalizing homosexuality, paying students for scholastic achievements, making zoning controls a preserve of the state, offering bonuses for family planning and last, but most frightening, a Pol Pot Cambodia-style proposal that new communities be established in rural areas, (concentration camp compounds). As can be observed, many of their goals have already been more than fully realized.

I will be watching the Maine investigation with interest. Did Card have a cochlear implant? That’s the only way I can imagine he could be hearing voices in his head and not just take off the new hearing aid to see if the voices stop. That question should be asked if it is not volunteered. Why was the President informed? What did he know and when? From what I can tell, Maine did not hand the investigation over to the Fed gov. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don’t. The Feds offer support for things states may not have, like specialized equipment and people. In Page County over the mountain, they sent the body of the murdered police officer over to Manassas (DC suburb) for the coroner. That’s commonly done by FBI. It looked like last night, the local law enforcement was still driving the investigation. I hope it stays that way.

BTW, you described a “hearing things” phenomenon pretty recently. I experienced something like that when I was at my parents’ Cottage this summer one night. I was working on a puzzle in the living room & had a Christian radio station playing on low volume in the nearby kitchen. At one point I had turned the radio off & when seated at the table with the puzzle I could still hear a faint song, seemingly interminable or on repeat, like a very faint Christian hymn. Whenever I would move to try to locate the source of this sound I could no longer hear it. It was a very strange phenomenon & only seemed to be discernable in the vicinity of the puzzle chair.
It was so strange I wondered if I was having an “autistic” enhanced audio capability of hearing something resonating through the building, like the electricity humming (supposedly some autistics can hear this), or perhaps someone in one of the nearby cottages was playing something on repeat & it was resonating in our building but only the sound waves focused by the puzzle chair. This was a very bizarre one time experience in my life 🙄
Yes, when I mentioned near falling asleep while reading that’s my back porch and there is no radio there. And I’m pretty sure I don’t have any filings in my teeth😆 has only been to the dentist five times in my life 🫤. There are however some main power lines near by and about a year or so ago they made those poles higher and added stuff to the top. 😬

As important as the veracity and integrity of the historical content of Old Testament Scriptures are, equally, if not more important is what the historical events, it foreshadows or typifies.
Mountain typology and shadows is replete in the Bible. Mount Sinai is where Moses ascended to meet God and receive the Law. The Eschatological Mount in eternity is the dwelling of God.
The Flood event and the ark is rich with typological allusions. It typifies or symbolizes resurrection from death, symbolized by the flood, onto a mountain sanctuary, which symbolizes the presence of God. Jesus said I am the resurrection and the life.
That’s a bit too deep for a lot of life sleepwalkers.

The city of San Francisco is in the process of constructing a downtown-area railroad extension that is estimated to cost in excess of $4 billion per mile of tunnel, The San Francisco Standard reported.
The extension, known as The Portal, is a tunneled rail service that would connect the Salesforce Transit Center in the city’s downtown corridor to Caltrain and future high-speed trains, according to the Standard. The project’s overall cost estimate was recently revised up from $6.5 billion to a total of $8.25 billion, which makes for a per-mile cost of over $4 billion, according to the Standard.
“[Y]ou’re seeing some whopping projected cost increases, not just for The Portal, but for other projects in the Bay Area,” John Goodwin, a spokesperson for the city’s Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), which will operate the service, told the Standard.
Lily Madjus Wu, a spokesperson for the public utility company Transbay Joint Powers Authority, that will construct The Portal told the Standard that the U.S. government has been petitioned to fund half the project’s cost.
