Granted, the study concerned the effects on infant macaque monkeys. However, the vaccines used were ones approved for human use. In Yours Truly’s opinion, even if thimerosal (mercury compound) were completely removed from all vaccines, there possibility still remains that negative effects could occur due to the other ingredients.

• German → His ethnic and cultural heritage. The Fahrenheits were a German Hanse merchant family with roots in Hildesheim and Königsberg.
• Danzig (Gdańsk) was a predominantly German-speaking Hanseatic city, so despite being politically part of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Fahrenheit family was ethnically and linguistically German.
• Dutch → Where he lived and worked.
• After his parents died in 1701, he moved to Amsterdam at age 15 and spent the rest of his life (1701–1736) in the Dutch Republic, where he did all his scientific work.
Modern “nationality” as a fixed legal identity didn’t really exist in the 17th–18th century. People were identified more by ethnicity, language, and where they lived than by a single passport. So the compound label captures both his origins and his adopted home.
