What is known is that Dr. Makary was born in Liverpool, England, and came with his birth family to the United States when he was a child. What is known is that Dr. Makary graduated with a B.S. degree from Bucknell University (likely about 1994), and graduated with his MD degree from the medical school of Thomas Jefferson University in 1998. This would, likely, place his year of birth in about 1970. Dr. Makary held a position at The Johns Hopkins University Hospital System as a Surgical Oncologist. He has also served as a professor in the Business School of The Johns Hopkins University. He also served as a consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2009 in that organization’s “Patient Safety Initiative”, in which Dr Makary assisted in creating the “Surgery Checklist” for surgeons (https://iris.who.int/bitstream/handle/10665/44185/9789241598552_eng.pdf, page 121.) I don’t think there was any such thing as a United States Citizen (or a citizen of the United States, which sounds the same, but is different) when the Constitution was written.
If I remember correctly, Americans were originally state citizens, and it was the state name first, followed by ‘citizen’, e.g., New York citizen.
A citizen OF a state implies that the individual is owned by or in subjection to the state.
Again, if I remember correctly, there was no such thing as a U.S. citizen until after the 14th Amendment was passed.
At that time, all freed slaves became citizens of the United States, while everyone else was still a state citizen.
Over time, everyone was basically herded into being citizens of the U.S., or the corporation UNITED STATES, INC. (all caps), that effectively supplanted the United states of America (small ‘s’ for ‘states’), depending on who you ask.
I had the same thought, that people at the time were not referred to as citizens. But that won’t stop the Left from using that argument, especially since the Fourteenth Amendment specifically refers to “persons.” They will say that any person in the U.S. at the time the census is taken should be counted.
There is no reason to count non-citizens for purposes of congressional representation (which is what they want to use the census for), because non-citizens are not allowed to vote.

Something that stood out to me is her handwriting. It is not the handwriting of someone who writes, or wrote, quickly, as would be required during a meeting. The meticulous formation of the letters, including some unnecessary beginning strokes, do not lend themselves to speed.
Maybe she is representing that she recorded every meeting and then transcribed her notes later. I guess that is plausible, but it doesn’t seem likely that someone would do that. If that is the case, then she should have audio recordings as well.

I try to be something or something to everyone. Whether it’s my husband who is successfully fighting recurrent bladder cancer, those who need ‘Ed’s Cancer Protocol’ updated, our blind and elderly friend who needs help, or a Mother mourning what would have been the 31st birthday of her daughter. I try to be that one person who they can count on.
So I am getting this out before the day is over.
Let me backtrack for a moment.
What Hospitals Are Like
My soul cries for Rebecca, and all Moms and Dads who knew nothing about how a hospital works, especially vs. my knowledge as an anesthesiologist and critical care specialist in the ICU.
In the course of just the past three days, it has occurred to me that very few doctors in the medical freedom movement know how hospitals work— they are clinic or SurgiCenter-based. They never stepped in a hospital after training, except to visit.
They never rounded with medical students or wrote their evaluations, nor interviewed Fellows and helped decide whether to accept or reject an application for someone to have a career in surgery, anesthesiology, or in the ICU.
I was Interim Chief of Anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania’s VA Hospital in Philadelphia and later, Surgical ICU Director at UCLA’s West Los Angeles VA Hospital. That was after graduating USC School of Medicine, Stanford Anesthesiology, and then Stanford Critical Care. On the latter, I was only one of a few ICU Fellows who were accepted into the program that year, 1996. God was with me.
For decades, I walked the hospital halls and ate most of my meals in the cafeteria. Sometimes I wore Operating Room (OR) scrubs, and did my own cases; other times, I supervised Nurse Anesthetists or “Ran the Board” coordinating every OR and making sure everyone got lunch— and no one fell asleep at their station, at 4 am; I also ran Codes for the entire hospital, whether they were in the ER, ICU, or a regular floor.
They don’t run to Codes anymore. They walk away. They do nothing because they made them a DNR and then they over sedated them—euthanized men and women— killed them.

On the one hand this is too horrifying to believe, but on the other hand, based on my experience, I can believe it. When helping an elderly person with their care, I was hounded to have them sign a Do Not Resuscitate order. Then later I learned they had placed the patient on “palliative care,” which IMO is a glorified name for hospice, without consulting me (the medical power of attorney).
Some hospitals are trying to eliminate the very sick and elderly, probably because they know they are likely to die soon anyway. So they expedite the process. I’m sure it’s about money for them and the insurance companies.
This needs to be investigated and stopped, and if they really euthanized people, that’s murder, so prison time is in order.

And the word used in Greek is more accurately translated “assembly” than “synagogue.” Most scholars think it referred to people in those cities who were persecuting followers of Jesus. An “assembly of Satan.”
The misinterpretation is a convenient trope for people who want to claim the Israelis are not “real Jews.”
But that is not accurate. Anyone, including Gentiles, can be adopted in to Israel, to whom God gave that specific land. It happened many times in the Old Testament. The people who are Jews in Israel ARE Israel. And God gave them more land than they are currently occupying.

If a man could have a nice house in a safe neighborhood and support himself and a wife and family by cutting lawns, there would be no population replacement crisis in America, and no unemployment, and a chicken in every pot.
I cut yards for money when I was a kid, and I promise you, I wasn’t buying a house and a car, or being any hottie’s sugar daddy, from mowing lawns.
Looks like he has the latest and greatest equipment. Looks like he is still in Florida, going by the palm trees in the background. Don’t know if the other dude in the photo is an employee or one of the aforementioned OMG volunteers.
And apparently there isn’t already a Cuban yard mafia doing all the yards in his neighborhood for peanuts.
My son started his own landscaping business this year. If he mows, or does planting, pruning or whatever, he gets $65 an hour. If he uses heavy equipment, it’s $120 an hour.
Don’t tell me you can’t make good money mowing lawns!
Day by day, I grow more convinced that I’m living in an alternate universe, one that’s only adjacent to the universe everyone else lives in.
I live in Montana. It’s just different here.
For $30K a month, working just during grass cutting season (six months?), I could see moving to Montana for part of the year.
For that kind of scratch, I could have a summer home in Montana and a winter home in Florida. Earn enough to pay both mortgages in the first week of each month, and the rest of the month is just gravy.
We should stop talking about it, or there’s going to be an 1840s style California Gold Rush.

I really doubt the FDA and CDC can ever be cleansed into entities that can be trusted and provide benefit to Americans ever again. PDT is trying to pull that off with FIB as well. I just don’t see how it can be done. As a result me and my house will not be trusting them in our lifetimes.
On that note, I must admit that, by themselves, FDA approval and CDC approval mean nothing to me – nor do their disapprovals by themselves. Only DATA, with enough surrounding admission of method to rule out trickery, mean something to me – and I would still demand that all data be reproduced by honest and ethical skeptics.

Good morning, C&C, it’s Friday! In today’s roundup: New York Times’ pet pandemic economist races to defend indefensible seed oils to smear RFK in an oily cloud of skepticism; Tale of Two Headlines as Times races to smear Trump over DC crime rates while burying the real lede; and California Democrats try to sneak through the worst bill they ever dreamed up in their guided Peyote bad trips.
I think what you and I have, PAVACA (and many if not most others here have), that is missing from Makary, and even RFK, Jr., is skepticism about the motivation behind all modern medicine, drugs, and vaccines.
These guys are still operating under the premise that there is some “good intent” behind the development of new vaccines and medicines.
It kind of reminds me of Wolfmoon early on in the Covid and Covid vaxx saga. He seemed hopeful to me that there would be a “good” vaccine developed by somebody, surely. Over time it seemed (at least to me) that he became as skeptical as I am of the motives of modern medicine in general.
And that is what is missing from Makary. He isn’t yet skeptical enough. He is conflicted.

I once assumed much more “good motive” among backers of new medical technologies. Now, I see them as mostly unskeptical well-wishers and dupes, a fair number of highly biased active deniers of harm, and a very few abusers of technology with completely skew motives, who have introduced and pushed technologies for hidden motives.
mRNA vaccines are a perfect example. There is no way to reconcile patient safety and uncontrolled production of protein immunogens, when precise control and administration of protein immunogens is not only possible, but already existing. One can only surmise that genetic manipulation and modification of humans is the goal, and that this is driving choices of vaccine technology OVER the interests of patients AND doctors.
When I was a young scientist, I believed that scientists would advance over their careers to a point where they could balance such fundamental priorities in large decisions in industry and government. Sadly, this is not the case. Technology decisions are being made for reasons which don’t align with those we are being told.
Some of this may be for military reasons, and may be to some extent justified by facts too incredible or inflammatory to admit publicly, but IMO we cannot lose our most basic connections to truth, justice, and freedom in the process of fighting evil, or we will become evil ourselves.
I’m glad I didn’t misrepresent you. I was a bit cautious about making the statement, but the echo was very strong.
IMO Makary has too many unskeptical, happy-face ties to the industry and the old guard in federal science. Trump has a nearly unique ability to keep glad-handing all the most rotten villains and criminals while “dealing” with them, without being too deeply influenced by them. Makary doesn’t have that ability, IMO. He has had moments of distrust that woke him up, but he falls back into dupehood at the drop of a hat.
I would not mind seeing him replaced with a real fighter.
Exactly my position about him. He’s playing both sides. Doesn’t matter if it is intentional or not.
Dude needs to take the lead from his ultimate boss – PDT – who never does that.

My soul cries for Rebecca, and all Moms and Dads who knew nothing about how a hospital works, especially vs. my knowledge as an anesthesiologist and critical care specialist in the ICU.
In the course of just the past three days, it has occurred to me that very few doctors in the medical freedom movement know how hospitals work— they are clinic or SurgiCenter-based. They never stepped in a hospital after training, except to visit.
They never rounded with medical students or wrote their evaluations, nor interviewed Fellows and helped decide whether to accept or reject an application for someone to have a career in surgery, anesthesiology, or in the ICU.
I was Interim Chief of Anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania’s VA Hospital in Philadelphia and later, Surgical ICU Director at UCLA’s West Los Angeles VA Hospital. That was after graduating USC School of Medicine, Stanford Anesthesiology, and then Stanford Critical Care. On the latter, I was only one of a few ICU Fellows who were accepted into the program that year, 1996. God was with me.
For decades, I walked the hospital halls and ate most of my meals in the cafeteria. Sometimes I wore Operating Room (OR) scrubs, and did my own cases; other times, I supervised Nurse Anesthetists or “Ran the Board” coordinating every OR and making sure everyone got lunch— and no one fell asleep at their station, at 4 am; I also ran Codes for the entire hospital, whether they were in the ER, ICU, or a regular floor.
They don’t run to Codes anymore. They walk away. They do nothing because they made them a DNR and then they over sedated them— euthanized men and women— killed them.

The next step that can be recommended is, IMO, natural biologicals, for those who need them (think hormones, other deficiencies).
The next step are things which are close to naturals and have highly targeted but essential uses (think L-dopa, etc.)
Lastly, proven things – all with real risks – and these need to be minimal and patient-centric.
Most people are taking WAY too many things near the bottom of the list, and not enough near the top.

1) Our elections cannot “remain secure”, as they have not been secure for a very, very long time.
2) Although up-to-date voter rolls are important, the fact that NGO’s have access to dump names back onto the rolls that have been legally cleaned defeats the cleaning efforts.

Something to watch for: There was a shooting today on the Emory University campus in Atlanta. Unfortunately, a police officer was killed. Another was injured, and the shooter is dead.
The only headline I’ve seen about a motive is this one from Citizen Free Press:
That leads to a CNN article that does not say anything about “anger over illness” or the COVID vax. It just says this:
Tragically, this Fox report says the slain officer’s wife is pregnant with their fourth child.
So the shooter targeted the CDC building, but so far no one is reporting anything related to the vax. Either the Citizen Free Press headline is in error, or no one wants to touch the details about how someone’s life changed due to the vax. I hope we will learn more about this.
