China’s demand for a larger slice of the opium-heroin pie. This was settled when Britain

prominent British residents in China and you will see the names of members of the
Committee of 300 among them. The same holds good for Hong Kong. These plutocrats

which Hong Kong is THE center. Burmese and Chinese opium poppy growers get paid in

I’m still only halfway done (1 GB) on the download of the “Epstein File” – which is a zip file of the entire thing. Presumably it will expand bigger, but I’m not sure how much.

No, I’m downloading a zip of the entire project as being released right now. It offers downloading at any level, so I snagged the whole thing. It includes a ton of video, images, and documents, many of which I saw when I expanded it.
Note – the site messed up and only gave me a partial!
Now 2 GB is the same order of magnitude as a Linux image, such as the Raspbian ones.
This collection however… turned out to be not just one big file, but a total of 22 big files, with suffixes 001 002 etc. of which the majority, 19, are 2 GB each. Two of them, nos 006 and 007 are 19.5 GB MP4 videos, and the last one, 022 is only about 560 MB.
Sum total approximately 78 GB.
This will take some time for sure.

Yes, and there is actually even more … besides thousands of scanned-in images of documents there is a large number of MP4 files, many of them about 20 GB each. The first download call didn’t pull more than two of these.
I was able to browse the directory of files through the Google Drive mechanism that these are stored on. The amount of data reminds me of what an old colleague said about «the data death» being caused by drowning in data.
Think I’ll let this sit for now.

It is amazing. 4.2 GB back in 1996 was enormous. Like how could anyone ever make use of that much space. And today we can buy external USB-connected disks with about 1000 times the capacity, 4 TB, for something on the order of $225 2025-dollars. Or a smaller micro-SD card with hundreds of GB space, that is approximately the same size as a fingernail.
Amazing, how impressed we were at the time. Rightfully so.

I’m seeing only a few files in the GB region. Most of the images are in KB, and most of the videos are in the MB region.
The downloader clearly fucked up for me. It claimed to be complete, but only gave me 9 out of 12 image directories (those are the documents). It was even worse on audio and video.
I suspect they’re being overwhelmed with downloads.
I’m going to try to get the images as a single download and verify that they’re all there.
If my current multiple downloads are to be believed, then the total document images s as zips amounts to around 17 GB. That sounds about right.

My husband made me aware, since he had been in the past in management position, that employees do not tell you everything. I heard today MAGA pointing fingers at Bondi, Patel and Bongino. They accuse them of hiding info concerning Epsteine. I am of mind that maybe they did not get all the info. Listening to my husband the way he laid out that a boss cannot know everything in detail if employees hide info. One has to trust what they tell you fully truth.

I opened a couple of image files that were files saved as TIF. As you state above, they are documents saved as images, so probably scanned paper documents. The one I looked at longest was an interview, likely with a victim about what she was doing in various picture images that are not included in the transcript. To even begin unpacking that question, several prerequisites for theological understanding are necessary. And, please excuse me as I am a new Christian, currently devouring large amounts of Christian literature and trying to educate myself. So, bear with me as I navigate and unpack the overlay of theology on my personal experience of Burning Man.
On the nature of “demons,” “Satan,” and “evil,” I’ve found C.S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters—and its companion essay Screwtape Proposes a Toast—to be helpful illustrations of Satan at work. I recognize that Lewis was, at the end of the day, just a man and a novelist. Yet his gift lies in the way he translates spiritual truths into language that the everyday person can grasp. His ability to frame the unseen in terms we can see and feel is nothing short of remarkable.
Lewis portrays demons as subtle, manipulative beings who exploit human weaknesses rather than overtly monstrous entities. In The Screwtape Letters, Hell is an organization with established hierarchies, laws, and menus for the consumption of souls. And the work of demons is not always loud or obvious, but often quiet, patient, and calculated, aimed always at one thing: the slow devouring of our God-given souls.
Now, let me return to how Burning Man works. It is often described as more than a mere festival—many view it as a spiritual experience and call it “home.” I remember my own first arrival in Black Rock City: a volunteer crew of Burners greeted me, inviting me to ring a great bell, roll in the dusty sand, and declare, “I am not a virgin anymore!” In that moment, I was welcomed “home.”
One of my first experiences there was boarding an art car, a double-decker bus dressed up as a dragon. It carried me to my camp, and I can still feel the warmth of the sun on my skin, the soft flutter of the fabric in the desert wind, and the strange, almost living spirit of that dragon-bus.

Living in the Bay Area at the time, the only opportunity I would get to see this many people in motion was during commute hours. Yet here, movement was different. Not sullen, not weighed down. Thousands of people moved about with smiles, intoxicated by freedom and joy, and navigating the city of Black Rock with an ephemeral air.
As a sensory experience, Burning Man hits all of them in a very short fraction of time. Especially if you’re from Silicon Valley, where so much of life unfolds indoors and in front of screens, it feels like a sudden immersion back into the elements. Out there, under the desert sun, people often receive more Vitamin D in a single week than they might otherwise in months back home. I know that was true for my first year, when I became “hooked” on the experience.
Most people who come to Burning Man are, in some way, searching. For some, it’s a search for identity or self-expression; for others, it may be healing from loss, or simply a desire to break free and let loose. Burning Man is a compressed version of the most exciting EDM concert you’ve ever been to: ecstatic dance classes, yoga lessons, group therapy sessions, expressive art installations, visits to the red-light district, and alcohol and drug-fueled nights out with friends.
And when I say “compressed,” I don’t just mean within the span of a week. What unfolds on the playa (the name given to the Black Rock Desert where Burning Man is held) feels like an entire lifetime distilled into mere hours. A single “playa hour” can carry the weight of countless parties, one-night stands, profound conversations, and fleeting moments of human connection. This is why, after Burning Man ends, long-term Burners usually will attend “decompression parties,” which continue the communal living, partying, sex, massages, deep and longing connections, unabridged confessions to one another, and feigning affection. These can go on for several days or, in some cases, even weeks.
It all sounds intoxicating, doesn’t it? Unbridled ecstasy, shared communally, offered as the pinnacle of human experience. A sensory feast, a kind of temporary utopia. Staying at First Camp afforded me a unique opportunity to spend time with leadership. I camped alongside Larry Harvey, the co-founder of Burning Man, and Marian Goodell, the current CEO. I would often find myself in personal conversations with them over meals in the dining tent or lounging in the common spaces. Yet over time, it became clear that First Camp was not only about logistics. It was also a place of access, where celebrities and dignitaries—tech founders, movie stars, diplomats, and even royalty—were hosted.
The day-to-day operators at Burning Man all carried walkie-talkies and communicated issues affecting the event, such as arrests, injuries, deaths, accidents, missing person complaints, and other concerns. It was always bustling and hectic. The old guard of Burning Man now includes several people in their 60s and 70s, and they continually welcome new leadership. Most young people burn out due to the weight of responsibility. It isn’t all fun and games; hosting such a massive and detailed event is a year-round commitment for several dozen people.
The old guard is treated in an almost mythical fashion by newcomers, who love hearing about the founding stories, and all the “crazy” years when things were “really wild.”
True Burners cloak themselves in their “playa names,” part of a chosen family forged in the desert. Sometimes I never even knew the real names of people I camped beside. “Crimson,” for example, the woman who has overseen pyrotechnics since the 90s, wore long white braids and radiated a maternal presence. She once hand-knit a baby blanket for my daughter. And yet, after all these years, I still do not know her name beyond “Crimson.”
Yes, there are constant orgies. Yes, drugs are consumed in staggering quantities. And yes, sexual assault and rape occur at Burning Man, along with tragic, often preventable deaths. Nudity is everywhere. Overdoses happen so frequently that they rarely interrupt a party or shut down a camp.
Yes, many openly practice magic, summoning spiritual entities as if for entertainment. Self-proclaimed “healers” abound, offering their versions of medicine and ritual. Occult symbols and ceremonies are practiced so frequently that they become ingrained in the fabric of daily life.
But does the presence of these things alone make Burning Man demonic? We’ll answer that question a little later. But I know what Burning Man did to my spirit and to my brain, and it was not good.
While everything started playfully for me at Burning Man, the truth is that dark and terrible things happened nearly every year I attended. My very first year, I heard about a young woman who was running to try to jump onto an art car and got sucked into its undercarriage and died. Another year, a man hurled himself into the fire and died. One year, a girl impaled her vagina on rebar while attempting to build something that she had no experience constructing.
Although I never personally experienced any of the Orgy Dome events, I heard unsettling accounts from those who did. Stories of encounters with people who seemed, in their words, “possessed.” Even with moderators present to prevent outright abuse, some described locking eyes with people engaged in sex who seemed to “have no soul.”

There are endless stories of people “tweaking,” overdosing, or getting lost and unable to find their way back to their camp all night. While the organization tries to mitigate these tragedies, they continue to happen year after year. The dark side of Burning Man is an accepted reality and risk because the organizers and the most devout Burners believe that the upside of Burning Man is vital enough to risk a few lives here and there. Meanwhile, the event itself is sustained by some of the wealthiest donors in the world, many of whom treat it as their personal playground. That money and influence have elevated Burning Man into something much larger than a festival. It is now an institution, so culturally powerful that it has even garnered its own exhibit at the Smithsonian.
After my first year at Burning Man, I cannot deny that I was changed. Returning to San Francisco, the city felt almost unrecognizable. At a stoplight, I remember watching people cross the street and swearing I could see their souls suspended just outside their bodies, pulled forward a step or two beyond their physical selves. It was as if my own soul had been jolted awake, moving in ways it never had before.
That shift left me more fearless. I began to take risks without hesitation, emboldened by the realization I had at Burning Man: life is a stage. I threw myself deeper into the culture, seeking out Burner communities and chasing that same sense of connection and openness I had first experienced on the playa.
Within three years, nearly everyone in my social circle was a Burner. It was like belonging to a secret society of sorts. Together, we believed we had access to a limitless reality, something hidden from the outside world, something you could only understand if you were a Burner.
However, the hidden, darker side of Burning Man, which prioritizes expression and freedom before safety and virtue, is a trade that everyone must make if they wish to attend the event, and it is rarely well-informed. Whether you realize it or not, the moment you step into Black Rock City, you are signing onto that bargain.
It is a culture where sexuality and spontaneity are prized above comfort and contentment. Women don costumes designed to dazzle, only to suffer strange infections—UTIs, skin rashes, textile dermatitis—as the price of “looking hot.” Men are surrounded by exotic, beautiful young women, while their wives are at home taking care of their children. Once inside, the illusion is strong: the outside world seems to dissolve, and this is by design. Burning Man seeks to create a reality so consuming, so intoxicating, that nothing beyond its borders appears to matter.
For many, Burning Man is nothing short of a religious experience, especially for those who make a pilgrimage to the Temple. And I must admit, rather shamefully now, that I was once one of those people. Each year, I brought something to surrender there: a photograph of someone I had lost, an old wedding dress from my failed marriage, or some artifact heavy with pain that I longed to release.
The ritual was always the same: the Temple became a vessel for grief, sorrow, and suffering. When it burned, it was meant to be a collective release. As the structure collapsed, great spirals of smoke would rise into the sky, and dust devils would swirl across the desert floor. Among Burners, these were spoken of as “the spirits.”
Year after year, the burning of the Temple was a profoundly moving moment, one that reduced me to tears as I stood among 60,000 others, all of us silent, all of us watching, all of us worshiping the flames in silence.
So I return to the question—for you, and for myself: Is Burning Man demonic? When you read what I have shared, does it strike you as something rooted in light, or in darkness? Does it sound like a culture that draws people closer to truth, or further into illusion?
Looking back now, through the lens of Scripture and Christian theology, I have come to believe that Burning Man is not just an eccentric festival, but rather a powerful vehicle for deception. In fact, it may be one of the most effective tools for Satan to misdirect souls away from our Heavenly Father. When you surrender yourself to “the playa,” you do not simply embrace freedom; you also open yourself to profound distortions of what is good.
Year after year, I witnessed art installations that did more than provoke; they mocked virtue itself. There was, and remains, a striking irreverence for Christian tradition. Altars were erected where people were invited to offer confessions and prayers, not to God, but to idols. I saw effigies dedicated to symbols that stood in sharp opposition to the sacred: in 2024, a giant clitoris displayed as an altar; in 2015, a statue of a child’s lower body, arteries wired into what resembled a digital machine; in 2023, Chacc, a Mayan rain god once worshipped through human sacrifice. There are hundreds of these pieces of artwork scattered through Black Rock City, and each year, something new and perverse is introduced. My understanding is that these art pieces are considered “offerings” to the event, to be experienced by Burners.
Even the attendees are considered part of the art. Radical self-expression and participation are two of the 10 guiding “Principles,” and both are on full display. Over time, I began to notice that what surrounded the Man Effigy before it burned was not mere performance. The dance troupes encircling it were not simply entertaining; they were invoking. Their movements and chants served as ceremonial openings, calling on “spirits” to bear witness.
I remember the founder once telling me that the burning of the Man symbolized the release of the soul. But I cannot help but ask: to whom is that soul being released? If the whole point of Burning Man is to surrender the soul in ecstasy, where does it go? And to whom is it being sent? I am a newbie to demonology, but there is clearly something dangerous at work here.
Take the demon Morax, for example. Also known as Marax or Forax, he appears in several occult texts, including The Lesser Key of Solomon and Pseudomonarchia Daemonum. He is described as a Great Earl and President of Hell, commanding between 30 and 36 legions of demons, each capable of taunting, tempting, and tormenting humans. He is often portrayed as a bull with a human face, or a man with the head of a bull. What is striking is his supposed abilities: teaching astrology, liberal sciences, and the properties of herbs and precious stones, as well as bestowing spiritual docents. Does any of this sound familiar?
Burning Man draws scientists, executives, innovators, and leaders. On the playa, you glimpse sides of them that remain hidden in the everyday world. The stern executive suddenly wears crystals and stones around his neck; the scientist speaks freely of esoteric knowledge with a conviction you would never hear in a laboratory or boardroom.
This is part of what makes Burning Man unlike any other gathering. Within the span of a single week, it concentrates a kind of nucleus of power—intellectual, financial, spiritual—that I have never witnessed assembled in one place before.
For many years, I was intoxicated by the sophistication and wonder of it all. I remember one evening after a Burning Man leadership dinner, standing beside Larry Harvey as we waited for our cars. From his pocket, he pulled a sketch he had drawn of the oracle stone of Delphi, which, he explained, he planned to build inside the Man. This was not unusual for him. Each year, Larry would consider what form of divination he wanted to embed in the effigy, and each year it would be incorporated into the design.
The number of esoteric and occult encounters I had at Burning Man is now beyond count. For nearly a decade, these things felt normal to me because my entire world was steeped in that community. It was only later, while reading the Bible and books like The Screwtape Letters, and learning about the grand hierarchy of demons, that I realized how eerily familiar it all seemed.
Burning Man itself carries its own hierarchies, not unlike the structures described in the Bible (“principalities and powers,” Eph 6:12) and those later explored by C.S. Lewis. You can see it even in the physical design of Black Rock City: who is positioned where, who gets access, who is allowed to stage for the Man’s burning. Camps mirror this stratification, each with its own social order.
The more exclusive the camp, the more valuable the roles become—“juicier souls,” to borrow Lewis’s language. There are the beautiful young women, prized for flattery and companionship. The builders, tasked with fixing things and running errands. The wealthy executives, underwriting it all. The celebrities, passing through on invitations. The trust-fund shaman-socialites, curating the “experience.” And, of course, the drug dealers, rebranded as psychedelic healers.
Screwtape warns his legion of tempters: “Indeed the safest road to Hell is the gradual one—the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts.”
Such is true of Burning Man. There were no sudden jolts, no dramatic crossroads. Only a slow descent. Before you realize it, you become an empty vessel—lost, pretending, unable to find joy, and unable to find God. I was not just on the road to hell; I was already living it.
It has taken me years to rebuild what was broken inside me, and it took waking up from a near-death experience to see the truth finally, and to find the courage and humility to come to Christ for all the things I once went searching for at Burning Man.
I’ve spoken with other former Burners this year who have also been saved by Christ, and it is no coincidence that each of them has turned away from Burning Man. None of them misses it. For the first time in years, they are rediscovering joy and fulfillment in the ordinary rhythms of life.
The same is true for me. As I devote myself to Scripture, to my family, and to walking in the light of the Lord, I find that this process of renewal continues to unfold, deepening day by day, step by step. I no longer desire to “Burn the Man;” I now burn with zeal in the Spirit.

Brother John, led the summer program. More, than once I’d ask a friend, “Where’s Brother John.” Answer was dunno or he went over there with whatever the boy(s) name was. Wooded area other side of park.

I remember watching this in real time as I sat behind my computer in the pharmacy. It was a COMMON SENSE medication.
I immediately tabbed over to my other screen to place an order from my supplier.
BLOCKED.
I pulled up my backup supplier’s website.
BLOCKED.
I called the supplier’s warehouse to place a manual order.
BLOCKED.
Vicious attacks were coming from every angle on this decades-long medication that some of my current patients needed for other diagnoses.
BLOCKED by insurance.
Then came what seemed like threats from the Board of Pharmacy claiming they were tracking the dispensing of this medication, and if you violated their orders you would be punished.
This maintenance drug was suddenly no longer approved in 30-day fills.
BLOCKED for 7-day fills only and not approved by insurance.
I was the only pharmacy in my town that had Vitamin D in stock. Why? Because I acted immediately at the beginning of COVID to provide common-sense treatments. But I was still ostracized as an idiot for ordering it by my superior. I stood my ground and I refused to send it back. We sold it all. I was #MAHA before it was cool.
Many people like myself were forced out of the healthcare industry. Our morals and ethics were not aligned with those in power. We saw the writing on the wall and we could not consciously take part in it.

While locked up for January 6th, a DC Judge forced (coerced) me to get the COVID shot.
I was told I could not come to court and defend myself, see my attorney, get a haircut, shave, see my family, children, go outside, etc
Judge Hogan even told me I couldn’t come into his courtroom without the shot, later admitting he violated my constitutional rights.
And guess what?
After taking the COVID shot, I was still denied release, to see my family, to get a haircut, to see my evidence, to get out of solitary confinement, etc
And then I started having major medical issues.

“Here are cautions against corrupt affections, and love of this world, which is enmity to God. (1-10) Exhortations to undertake no affairs of life, without constant regard to the will and providence of God”. (11-17)
(1-10) “Since all wars and fightings come from the corruptions of our own hearts, it is right to mortify those lusts that war in the members. Wordly and fleshly lusts are distempers, which will not allow content or satisfaction. Sinful desires and affections stop prayer, and the working of our desires toward God. And let us beware that we do not abuse or misuse the mercies received, by the disposition of the heart when prayers are granted. Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

Trouble is, the Alien Enemies Act as written places no such right of “review and consent” upon the Courts. It simply states that the President shall determine who is an alien enemy, and what to do about them. Read the text: it is short and sweet and to the point.
U.S.C. 50 § 21: “[…] The President is authorized in any such event, by his proclamation thereof, or other public act, to direct the conduct to be observed on the part of the United States, toward the aliens who become so liable; the manner and degree of the restraint to which they shall be subject and in what cases, and upon what security their residence shall be permitted, and to provide for the removal of those who, not being permitted to reside within the United States, refuse or neglect to depart therefrom; and to establish any other regulations which are found necessary in the premises and for the public safety.”
In this and in every other case, “there is only one ‘President,’” in whom the Executive power is vested. These powers are not shared by non-elected Judges. The President has awesome power, and discretion. He does not have four hundred peers.
If you don’t approve of the way that the Law is now written, then Congress has the power to change what it once enacted, or to abolish it. Courts do not. The powers and prerogatives of the President are not arbitrary, but are established and maintained by [Congressional and Constitutional …] Law.
There are several cases within the Constitution where his powers are set by Congress, but he is then fully empowered to exercise them at his discretion. As the “Chief Executive” and “C-in-C” must be able to do.
Interpreting the meaning of unambiguous language is a prohibited statutory construction. That’s what was done by the two leftist judges [who thought they were being so clever] so they could use precedent to tie their hands. This case will be overturned, along with the precedent of Humphrey’s Executor.

No. Two things I see: 5th Circuit dissent (Oldham) basically wrote the grounds for the appeal, and basis for overturning. “The war power is the war power.”Presidents actions under Title 50 for protecting the nation, determine the nature of the threat, and response to that threat, are non-justiciable, per SCOTUS. The case should have dismissed for lack of standing and jurisdiction. Courts are not competent to hear cases on AEA. Period. The President’s actions are not reviewable. Period. Consider this, as well: The declaration of enemy alien status of TdA makes them “enemies”. That’s the trigger word for treasonous acts. Supremes will likely hear this.

Actually, it really is interesting,but somebody is breaking up the video BADLY, so it’s impossible to hear. It’s incredibly frustrating. The people get 3-5 words out, and then the video freezes for 10-15 seconds.
I have only heard part of it and have only heard the ladies talk about being physically abused by Epstein. One woman admitted to recruiting other girls because she thought that if she didn’t she would be hurt in some way.
They all seem to be asking for the entire truth to come out. They are advocating for a bill that would ensure transparency. At issue is why Epstein was protected.
The last one I heard said that Epstein was an international human trafficker. She had been recommended to a modeling agency by him.
She said the victims would be compiling their own list of people who were involved.
What I’m not hearing, but which might come out in time, is anyone say that Epstein brought the girls to his island or other locations so he could provide them to clients of his—which is what so many think happened. It might have happened; I just haven’t heard it said yet.
I would love to read some direct accounts by ANY young people who were on his island. What things SEEM like, to me, is that all accounts of young people hanging with Epstein are either in the form of testimony, or are third-person journalistic accounts.
I think at least one of the ones I heard was on the island, and she was tearful when talking about how Epstein abused her. She didn’t say he procured her for anyone else.
I don’t know if it’s possible the ladies have been told not to talk about that, if it did happen, for legal reasons. We’ll have to wait for more to come out.

The next woman says Epstein abused her and bragged about his powerful friends. She was taken on a trip to Africa with Epstein, Bill Clinton, and other powerful people, but she never said she was abused by anyone other than Epstein. Maybe there is more info in the documents that have been released.
I heard their attorney say that a portion of the women were “farmed out” when they reached a certain age, and that they are compiling a list. He also said the women are afraid to name names publicly for fear of lawsuits and retribution. One of the women said the DOJ needs to release the list that they come up with. I imagine there will be a lot of legal complications surrounding that.

One of the women wanted to be sure everyone knows that Epstein considered Trump to be a good friend and that he had an 8″ x 10″ photo of Trump on his desk.
And my question is, “So what?” Was Trump ever there? Did you or anyone ever see Trump doing anything shady?
If she’s trying to connect Trump to a trafficking organization, she is way out of line.
The danger is that some are influenced by their lawyers politics trying to implicate Trump. I think of Dershowitz who was implicated and when challenged in court recanted. That is why I wish this were all reveled in court not out in public the way it is done now. I know a man who had been implicated by an employee because she hated him. He was cleared of any wrongdoing.

I meant to post this on yesterday’s thread.
I’ve been dealing with a ruptured disc for about two and a half years now.
About six months after it happened I finally decided to have surgery. Chose a Surgeon who was in network after asking people who they would recommend. Made an appointment, had x-rays done, definitely ruptured disc. Doctors like, yep I can fix that.
I was starting to get the dreaded foot drop so he wanted to operate ASAP.
Just so happened to have an opportunity the following week 🤔
I had labs drawn, they show I’m anemic, so he has me redo them again in a few days, same results. His assistant was concerned with the results, the surgeon is like we’ll let the anesthesiologist sort it out on operating day.
I go in for surgery and get all prepped and the nurse is ready to put my IV in. The Surgeon shows up ready to go. The anesthesiologist shows up, looks at my labs 🤯.
She puts a full stop on, noway was she giving him clearance to operate. She explains to me the risk involved, probability I wouldn’t wake up if anything was to go wrong.
So this shit head doctor doesn’t listen to his assistant, or understand lab work 🤔 🙄.
I just had Surgery this past July for another serious problem. I was lucky enough that the number one Surgeon in the world who does this operation happens to be within driving distance.
The difference in his preparation was totally different. I had to have heart test done, multiple lab test, scans done for DVT before and after surgery. I had to pass all that before he’d even schedule me, and then it’s 6-8 weeks till they get you on the schedule. His follow up after surgery is very good also.
Disclaimer, I’ve had a DVT previously, and my anemia is because of a blood condition I have. The second Surgeon had those conditions addressed with everyone on his team, even had a blood type and scan the day before and day of surgery should I need a transfusion.
So yes chose wisely!

There is a WIDE divergence in the medical community – as far as concern for the patient, training, talent and skill, care and screening, conscientiousness, quality of their office staff, organization. There are some really good doctors and others who are lazy, materialistic, more concerned about their profits, perks, pleasures, vacations, etc.

I forgot to mention he had my second surgery postponed by 9 weeks because he wouldn’t sign off on my clearance, he said my BP was elevated. .
I’m in the 123-130’s/70 range consistently unless I go to the doctors office. Then it goes up, (white coat syndrome) he wanted it under 120.
He wouldn’t sign off until I agreed to BP meds and then see him again in two weeks.

Never mind both the Cardiologist and Hematologist I saw for all my pre test didn’t have a concern.
The Surgeon had to reschedule me because their anesthesiologist wanted me on them for 6 weeks before they would proceed
The only reason I had to see him was because the NP I see regularly was out of town, she had no issues with my BP, so I was stuck seeing shit head.
I took them before surgery then quit them after, they made me feel weak and light headed. Never going back to him again, he’s the typical pill pushing quack.
So glad things turned out well – it pays to get references and go slow if possible – do careful research.
I bet his insurance policy scared him. Probably had pill requirements for certain B/P readings.

I have a couple herniated discs. I declined the surgery forty five years ago and do not regret it.
At the time I was told 25% better, 50% no change and 25% chance I would be in a wheelchair. BUT I HAD TO ASK to get those numbers.
That’s about the results percentage for sleep apnea surgery. I keep asking, year by year, but the odds don’t change.
What I found amazing is I HAD TO ASK! The SOB would have done the surgery (I was 29) and never even told me it only had a 25% chance of success. WORSE, he never told me the disk above and below would probably rupture in ten years because I was so active. I found that out from the GP doctor at work.
Recently I was in the ER, with my friend listening to the ER doctor tell a guy who was about 50 or 60, they could do nothing more for his back. I talked to him and he had had 2 back surgeries and now was essentially wheel chair bound and in great pain if he tried to walk.
That easily could have been me if I had not asked that question.

Yes if people did wrong let them stand for trial. What happens if the girls were over 18 when they engaged in sex with high power people? 18 a person can say yes or no.
This is driving me nuts at the immaturity of young women if they were 18 and above unless they were raped or hostages then trow the book at the men who had sex with the young women. All bets are off if they were teenagers not adults then get the guys..
Today the women’s lawyer said they were afraid to name names publicly for fear of both lawsuits and retribution. That makes sense. So I don’t know what will happen when they do make a list of names. My guess is that it would have to go to law enforcement, maybe the FIB, and each person on the list would have to be investigated. The women accusers would probably have to give depositions, and I think it could be a long, drawn-out process. If enough evidence to bring charges is found, then people could be indicted and tried.
The authorities have to be careful that an innocent person doesn’t get prosecuted, and I’m sure there are lots of other considerations. I seriously doubt that the public is going to see any list that the women come up with, at least not any time soon.
