We take a break from American artwork today to speak on behalf of the puppies.

I’m sure scientists who torture puppies would blow the whistle if their drugs harmed children because they have such a high moral standard that they’d risk their careers to prevent harming the innocent.

From over the weekend, here is Steve Bannon giving the motivational speech of the week in Pima County, Arizona.

What happens to doctors who do their own research?

Some of his videos are quite entertaining. His wife and the ear wax is a classic.

If you spend enough money on advertisements, eventually it just becomes more efficient to buy a media company. That way you put your ads into the news, and get paid to air ads in between your ads disguised as news.

So, are all those ships sitting out in the ocean ALL from countries that meddled in the election?

About the Alec Baldwin shooting situation….

There has been a robust discussion on this site regarding all of that. Sadie laid out quite a bit on the Satanic side of the theory spectrum on Sunday. There is, however, a competing theory which has now popped up on two completely different “insider” feeds that deserves some consideration:

SpecOperator17

Forwarded from

theREAL Ih8uJACK™ Chat

she was a KGB agent

She was born in Ukraine and grew up as an “army brat” in the Arctic Circle on a Soviet military base “surrounded by reindeer and nuclear submarines,” according to her website.

After graduating from Ukraine’s Kyiv National University with a degree in international journalism, Hutchins worked as an investigative journalist with British documentary productions throughout Europe.

she either died due to bad guys wanting to shut someone up or she didn’t die and good guys took her into custody

And from a source I don’t particularly trust, and usually read for entertainment purposes, but this rings more true than it was an accident:

Before we go into the evidence of changed governments in other countries, let us look at the evidence that the Satanic “Biden” regime is about to be taken down. Remember the Qanon post about “Red October?”

Well CIA sources are telling us the widely publicized shooting by movie director Alex Baldwin of Halyna Hutchins with a “prop gun,” is a signal. Let us connect some dots:

Alec Baldwin starred in the film, The Hunt for Red October, wherein he helps hunt down a Russian nuclear submarine that was originally docked in Murmansk on a Soviet base in the Arctic Circle. Hutchins grew up in Murmansk on a Soviet base in the Arctic Circle “surrounded by nuclear submarines.”

She was a Ukrainian spy whose husband is a lawyer defending the Clintons.

The set where she was shot is about 30 minutes from Epstein’s 33k sq ft Zorro ranch in New Mexico — the same one that had computer rooms the ‘size of houses’ to spy on guests including Prince Andrew, when he allegedly stayed for a week there.

Dave Halls, the assistant director who handed the gun to Baldwin, was the second unit’s first assistant director on The Crow: Salvation, the sequel to the film in which Bruce Lee’s son Brandon Lee was killed in an on-set firearms mishap in 1993. Just a coincidence?

What a Ukrainian KGB agent was doing acting as a Hollywood cinematographer has yet to be explained, but one thing is for sure, it was not an accident, and there’s far more to it than has been revealed as yet.

Something to remember, always.

Per the boss’s instruction:

I’d throw in a few Rockefellers and Rothschilds also.

Of course, this does not mean committing felonies, but standing up to the forces that want to tear this nation – and humanity apart. The very people XVII told us will be destroyed by the time this movie comes to an end are currently roaming the halls of power…supposedly. It’s a sickening sight.

And now for some mood music:

Your weekly reminder to take the pledge, and if the non-mainstream people are to be believed, including Lin Wood, we will need to take this seriously very soon:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

Message from General Flynn.

Be fearless and don’t wait for the next superstar to stand up and fight back against this health tyranny…each of us has our own inner strength to take the harder right path. In your communities, at your local city council meetings, school board hearings, zoning board meetings, everywhere elected officials reside, we should be in there ensuring they are doing what we the people voted for them to do. Get involved now, no more waiting for someone else to do it…it is our time, our moment in history and our obligation to the next generation and the one after that…Local Action has a National Impact

ROMANS 8:18-25

18I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God; 20for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope; 21because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now; 23and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

PSALMS 126:1-6

1When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. 2Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” 3The LORD has done great things for us; we are glad. 4Restore our fortunes, O LORD, like the watercourses in the Negeb! 5May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy! 6He that goes forth weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

LUKE 13:18-21

18He said therefore, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? 19It is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his garden; and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.” 20And again he said, “To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? 21It is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”

Yes, he did. Or his handlers did. Somebody did. At this point, even Democrats are begging for mean tweets and cheap gas.

And the mainstream media can be depended upon not to report that. Sort of like how they are not reporting any of the protesting we see on internet videos.

https://twitter.com/Zieleds/status/1450424091404472323

Why would that be? This might help.

Speaking of which, the Biden camp as acquired enough Pfizer product to start shooting up primary and grade school aged children. With all luck the mama bears out there will protect their cubs from the big, bad government.

I said with all luck. See, this is a problem:

As for the medical people….

Critical Thinking 101(Expert of Expert Evaluation)@critica18495985Replying to @Leftylockdowns1

Their education is largely influenced by the pharmaceutical industry. The world’s best selling medical textbook is Merck Manual, written by a pharmaceutical company. They are taught compartmentalized memorized knowledge. Very little principles and critical thinking.

Intellectual Property Isn’t@GaryOxide
Indeed. Many years ago I shared a house with a few medical students. I soon realized that they were actually on a seven-year long heavy indoctrination program, that trained them to stop thinking for themselves – ever. Those unwilling to comply simply never became doctors.

Unfortunately, I observed the same thing over the course of ten years working for a medical school.

The thing is, when it comes to medicine, and the lockstep mentality and not admitting mistakes, history is, to an extent, repeating itself.

General Powell’s vaccine was of no use against COVID. He submitted to experimental gene therapy in the hopes that it would protect him, and it did nothing for him. That hasn’t stopped the experts from proclaiming General Powell’s death as next door to proof that the vaccines are working.

Ian Sams, an adviser to the Department of Health and Human Services, is fretting on Twitter that what he is pleased to call the anti-vaxxers will use General Powell’s death as evidence that the vaccines may not be as efficient as advertised. A professor of Emergency Medicine at George Washington University, Dr. Leana Wen, huffs that news reports should mention that General Powell also suffered from cancer and Parkinson’s disease, which could have made the vaccine less efficacious. Dr. Wen also served as Baltimore’s health commissioner (and briefly as the head of Planned Parenthood, America’s premier abortion corporation —ed.), so she’s really an expert.

It all makes me think of another kind of expert, Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis, the physician who pioneered washing hands to prevent disease. Semmelweis actually knew what he was talking about because he ran the obstetrics wards at the Vienna General Hospital in Austria in the mid-19th century.

Semmelweis observed that, in those obstetrics wards that physicians attended, the mortality rate was high; in those that midwives attended, the mortality rate was low. The only difference between the doctors and the midwives was that doctors did autopsies and frequently delivered babies with the blood of the dead still on their hands.

Semmelweis concluded that something was clinging to the doctors’ hands that was harmful to the women giving birth.  Beginning in 1847, he began begging everyone to wash his hands with chlorine before going into the obstetrics wards.  The death rate plummeted.

Everyone should have been thrilled.  However, the medical community resented being accused of killing people.  To further discredit his ideas, although he was a Hungarian-born German, and may have been an atheist, a Catholic of Jewish descent, the rumor was spread that he was actively Jewish and, therefore, insulting Christian doctors.

Semmelweis was thrown out and, eventually, as his behavior became increasingly erratic (possibly Alzheimer’s or syphilis), he was relegated to an insane asylum, where it’s quite possible that attendants beat him to death.  The experts had spoken.  Evidence was not important when placed in the balance of what was politically correct and conformable to the accepted medical doctrines of the day.  This was back in the 1800s, and nothing has changed in the 21st century.

Experts and lies about COVID
By Pandra Selivanov

That doesn’t mean the people haven’t noticed the lies, and are taking action whether the “experts” realize it or not.

Are people REALLY quitting to stay at home on the dole, or are they hiding out until the shot fallout clears?

Critical Thinking 101(Expert of Expert Evaluation)@critica18495985
Fear is the virus. The super spreader is the media. A 100% effective vaccine for it is turn it off. Those who don’t take the vaccine endanger all of us, preventing us from stopping the spread.

The worst of it is there’s a big cover up going on and it simply is not generating reporting or interest.

Biden orders OSHA to join the biggest cover up in human history

By Christopher Wright

OSHA has gone into full cover-up mode concerning adverse reactions to COVID vaccines.

Late last month, Joe Biden told OSHA to hide information on vaccine injuries.  Yesterday, it was reported OSHA’s website now states OSHA will not require employers to report adverse reactions from the vaccines among their workers.

The reason OSHA gives is astounding: they don’t want to hear about adverse reactions because they don’t want to discourage workers from getting vaccinated.  So much for the health and safety of the workers, which is the agency’s mission.  Workers have been sacrificed on the altar of the Biden administration’s phony narrative that the vaccines are completely safe.  Pravda has spoken.

But that doesn’t prevent adverse reactions from continuing to pile up.  About 7,000 people had died shortly after receiving COVID vaccines when I first started tracking official government numbers in July.  The number of deaths has now passed 16,000 and the total number of adverse reactions — heart problems, blood clots, miscarriages, menstrual disruption, neurological symptoms, etc. — is approaching 800,000.  These numbers are off the charts compared to all other vaccines combined since the reporting system began 30 years ago.

Approximately 9,000 people in the U.S. have died after receiving a COVID vaccine in the last three months or so.  There are obviously problems with the vaccines, including problems for pregnant women and the babies they breastfeed, but nobody in authority will talk about them.

Here’s a point made by Lin Wood that needs to be considered when despairing that “nothing is happening.”

19I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once yielded your members to impurity and to greater and greater iniquity, so now yield your members to righteousness for sanctification. 20When you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21But then what return did you get from the things of which you are now ashamed? The end of those things is death. 22But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the return you get is sanctification and its end, eternal life. 23For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Unhappy with prices, ranchers look to build own meat plants

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Like other ranchers across the country, Rusty Kemp for years grumbled about rock-bottom prices paid for the cattle he raised in central Nebraska, even as the cost of beef at grocery stores kept climbing.

He and his neighbors blamed it on consolidation in the beef industry stretching back to the 1970s that resulted in four companies slaughtering over 80% of the nation’s cattle, giving the processors more power to set prices while ranchers struggled to make a living. Federal data show that for every dollar spent on food, the share that went to ranchers and farmers dropped from 35 cents in the 1970s to 14 cents recently.

It led Kemp to launch an audacious plan: Raise more than $300 million from ranchers to build a plant themselves, putting their future in their own hands.

“We’ve been complaining about it for 30 years,” Kemp said. “It’s probably time somebody does something about it.”

Crews will start work this fall building the Sustainable Beef plant on nearly 400 acres near North Platte, Nebraska, and other groups are making similar surprising moves in Iowa, Idaho and Wisconsin. The enterprises will test whether it’s really possible to compete financially against an industry trend that has swept through American agriculture and that played a role in meat shortages during the coronavirus pandemic.

The move is well timed, as the U.S. Department of Agriculture is now taking a number of steps to encourage a more diverse supply in the beef industry.

Still, it’s hard to overstate the challenge, going up against huge, well-financed competitors that run highly efficient plants and can sell beef at prices that smaller operators will struggle to match.

12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal bodies, to make you obey their passions. 13Do not yield your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but yield yourselves to God as men who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. 15What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! 16Do you not know that if you yield yourselves to any one as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, 18and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.

Thanking everybody for your patience. Whether happenstance, coincidence, or enemy action, I’m dealing with some technical issues. In addition to those, and the obvious spiritual attacks, I am dealing with the obvious site stuff in what are best maintained as unobvious ways.

I suspect we struck a nerve.

A combined technical / spiritual / strategic response by all of us will prevent this attack from succeeding. Hold the line – bite the bullet – gird the loins – bite the lip – pray for guidance, discernment, and strength – whatever YOU believe keeps the ship aright for the moment. Everything else is lower priority.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

With all the news and craziness in the world, one of my colleagues at my other blogging gig found a story that just inspires head banging.

TSA should use dog teams to make up for workers’ low vax rate: Schumer

The TSA should use its canine teams to keep airport security lines moving if there is a worker shortage amid the federal COVID-19 vaccination mandate, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Sunday.

President Biden’s vaccination order for federal workers takes effect three days before Thanksgiving — the busiest time of the year for air travel.

“If TSA lags in jabs, send in the dogs,” Schumer said during a press conference in Manhattan, citing recent revelations from the TSA that 40 percent of its employees remain unvaccinated.

“There is no reason on God’s green Earth why anyone — let alone a TSA agent — shouldn’t have the vaccine,” New York’s senior senator said.

“Now if the agency plans now with contingencies, including the deployment of the canine dog teams, wherever the vaccine rates are impacting staffing and security, travel headaches can be avoided,” Schumer insisted.

Link to story

As wonderful as dogs are and as talented at sniffing out explosives and/or drugs, they can’t stack tubs, and they aren’t trained to read x-ray screens for possible weapons. How, exactly, is this going to help make those lines move faster?

While we’re waiting for an answer, we’ll take a quick tour of the mess.

October 8, 2020: Judge denies IRS motion for Summary Judgment indicating IRS has ‘abused its discretion’ in its handling of our WB submission.

Case continues with Judge inquiring if/how IRS Criminal involved in investigating CF. (8)

Case ongoing and under seal in USTC
Beginning in late 2015 and for the ongoing 6 years, we have continued to expand our investigation both in depth and breadth. These efforts have led to our filing other whistleblower submissions and a host of other related pursuits. (9)
Our Timelines run into many hundreds of pages.

Our Formal Exhibits are exhaustive and in re CF total > 125 and > 8000 pages.

We corroborate all data points.

We interviewed not only Cfdn CFO but other CF execs as well. We interviewed execs and whistleblowers of CF (10) partners. We sourced docs from CF internal counsel. We sourced email exchanges between CF officials and foreign government officials. We engaged official within IG Office of major Geneva-based financial intermediary.

We utilized the FOIA extensively.

This brief overview (11) provides an inch deep review of our efforts that penetrate miles into the surface. Our findings are not our opinions. They are all fact based.

Our children’s future and that of our nation are on the line here.

We’re in it to win it. Our nation needs justice to prevail (12) in re Doyle, Moynihan v IRS and that victory to serve as the catalyst for victory on other fronts.

These efforts are NOT right v left but rather right v wrong.

God Bless America.

Let’s Win!!

Could it be that Bill & Hill are alerted to danger?????

And one more thing:

He can be arrogant pain to work with, but he has a point.

I am not sure if it is invigorating or depressing to wake up every morning knowing full well there will be at least ten major issues that the mainstream media will be deceiving America about in a given day. It’s like Choose Your Own Adventure but with pathological liars.
1:23 AM · Oct 18, 2021

Double dose today.

@RealGenFlynn

And now for the nitty gritty of the Q Tree 5 minute, stand up, Tuesday morning meeting version of the Daily Thread.

Ahem.

Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out. There is also a “rescue” thread there for members of the Tree to rendezvous if the main site goes kablooey.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And Auntie DePat’s requests as we are all, ahem, allegedly adults:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, cast down to Hell Satan and all his evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Amen brother.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome. Via con Dios.

DEAR MAGA: Open Thread 20211014

It can be feast or famine trying to find goodies for the patriots perched here at the Q Tree on a regular basis. On Tuesday afternoon, it seemed like there wasn’t much of anything out there.

On Wednesday…AVALANCHE.

Okay, maybe not an avalanche, but an abundance of riches, beginning with Archbishop Carl Maria Vigano who is still in hiding, and still speaking out about this abysmal “pope” and the wretched situation of the world under assault from “The Great Reset.”

This was posted on yesterday’s daily in the comments, and was discussed, although not at length.

https://twitter.com/Primordilian/status/1448026633705754624

The Malthusian ecologism, irenicist ecumenism (that is a prelude to the constitution of the universal religion), the “fourth revolution” theorized by Klaus Schwab and the families of international finance, find in Bergoglio not a neutral spectator – which would itself already be an unheard of thing – but actually a zealous cooperator, who abuses his own moral authority in order to support ad extra [outside the Church] the project of the dissolution of traditional society, while ad intra [within the Church] he pursues the project of the demolition of the Church in order to replace Her with a philanthropic organization of Masonic inspiration. …

The persecution we are witnessing today is no different from that of decades past, but now it has been extended to the masses, while previously it focused on individuals and the ruling class. This applies to both the civil and ecclesiastical world – confirming the pactum sceleris [criminal conspiracy] between the deep state and the deep church. It seems to me that in this conspiracy the role of the Jesuits has been decisive, and it is no coincidence that for the first time in history a religious of the Society of Jesus is seated on the Throne of Peter, [in violation of the Rule established by Saint Ignatius of Loyola].

This is actually part of a LONG interview that occurred in late September, and was transcribed at Inside the Vatican. The full interview is very revealing. (Please go to the link to read the transcript.) The full interview addresses many topics specific to Catholicism, but does include this gems like this interspersed within the Church talk:

We find ourselves trapped in an impasse, a dead end, from which we cannot escape as long as we do not recognize it for what it is. If we think that the present crisis can be solved by addressing ourselves to the civil or religious authority, as if we were in conditions of relative normality, we continue to not understand that the responsibility for this crisis lays precisely in a betrayal carried out by those hold authority. We cannot ask for justice for a wrong we have suffered if the judge who ought to condemn those who infringe on our rights is their accomplice. We cannot turn to politicians, expecting them to revoke the violation of our fundamental freedoms, if they are the very ones voting for these violations in Parliaments because they obey those who pay them or blackmail them.

Vigano then followed this interview with a letter to his fellow Italians who are in the fight of their lives trying to avoid the green pass, the European version of vaccine passports. Here is an excerpt:

I mentioned a little while ago about the labyrinth into which we entered. More precisely, a labyrinth in which we found ourselves following those who promised us to get out, knowing full well that it has no exit. With every step we have taken, entering the maze of this labyrinth, we have strayed and lost.

Because this is a labyrinth.

A tangle of pseudo-scientific statements, logical contradictions, apodictic proclamations, dogmas proclaimed by the new Covid priests, by the pandemic Sanhedrin.

There is nothing consequential or rational in what we are told and it is precisely in believing that what they tell us makes sense that we go further and further into the labyrinth.

“Let’s get vaccinated to save the frail and the elderly people who cannot be vaccinated,” they told us. “While we vaccinate the frail and the elderly, let’s get vaccinated in order to remove the mask and start living again,” they said… and soon after we discovered that not only should we have to wear the mask but that one dose of serum was no longer enough and not even two, maybe not even three.

Meanwhile, the frail and the elderly die of Covid even after the double dose, and if they survive and because in hospitals – deny it if you can – for some time Covid patients have been given Azithromycin [& Ivermectin], making it appear as a cure against intestinal parasites but knowing full well that it is used against the virus, so as not to undermine the credibility of vaccines, certainly not for the health of patients.

We have to get out of this labyrinth dear friends, but we cannot get out by simply protesting against the Green Pass, which is only the most recent repressive tool and certainly not the last. Certainly the Green Pass is a legal aberration, a hateful blackmail, a proof of the pretext of the pandemic alarm.

But even if they revoke the Green Pass, the absurdity of considering a curable virus deadly that has not caused more deaths than those of the past years would remain. the absurdity of wearing masks that are not only useless by the experts’ own admission but which, on the contrary, cause serious lung diseases and brain pathologies.

The absurdity of considering a vaccine as a drug that does not serve to give immunity and that proves to have such serious side effects as to overtake the deaths of all vaccines in the last ten years in just a few months of administration. The absurdity of letting us inoculate an experimental drug that acts on our DNA, making us genetically modified organisms.

The absurdity of following directions, protocols that seem written by sorcerers and not by conscientious doctors, given the series of checks that have now reached the pathetic. the absurdity of calculating seriously and calmly to statements so scandalous and false as not to deserve an answer.

That of Draghi, “whoever gets vaccinated is saved, whoever does not get vaccinated dies,” is a lie.

And then a surprise came from Mollie Hemingway, the nominally mainstream media figure who contributes at Fox News. She wanted to find out just what happened in the 2020 general election and so she did the legwork and investigative reporting that resulted in a book titled Rigged. She spoke with Brian Kilmeade about her efforts:

A partial transcript can be found at Real Clear Politics:

I wanted to know exactly what happened during the campaign so for me that means I interview everybody involved at the state and the national level, and I did find out that this election was unlike any election we’d ever had. People already knew that the media environment was corrupt, just like you just talked about, they suppressed that Hunter Biden story which was explosive, they elevated fake news, they knew that big tech had manipulated. They did not want to have any information out that helps their political opponents or hurt their political allies, so they censored information and they de-platformed people, and they also changed a lot of our election laws. Sometimes they did that legally and constitutionally, sometimes they didn’t, and Mark Zuckerberg, one of the world’s wealthiest individuals, funded the private takeover of government election offices. And that enabled a bunch of left wing activists to come into government election offices and actually handle many things, from voter registration to voting to vote counting.

Remember, fellow QTreepers, this book and effort was written for the normies who still are in the process of waking up, not us.

ROMANS 3:21-30

21But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from law, although the law and the prophets bear witness to it, 22the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction; 23since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24they are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God put forward as an expiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins; 26it was to prove at the present time that he himself is righteous and that he justifies him who has faith in Jesus. 27Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On the principle of works? No, but on the principle of faith. 28For we hold that a man is justified by faith apart from works of law. 29Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30since God is one; and he will justify the circumcised on the ground of their faith and the uncircumcised through their faith.

LUKE 11:47-54

47Woe to you! for you build the tombs of the prophets whom your fathers killed. 48So you are witnesses and consent to the deeds of your fathers; for they killed them, and you build their tombs. 49Therefore also the Wisdom of God said, `I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and persecute,’ 50that the blood of all the prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation, 51from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechari’ah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it shall be required of this generation. 52Woe to you lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge; you did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.” 53As he went away from there, the scribes and the Pharisees began to press him hard, and to provoke him to speak of many things, 54lying in wait for him, to catch at something he might say.

Dear KAG: 20211013 Open Thread

To be honest, given the information coming in from all sides, inspiration was hard to come by on Tuesday afternoon. I mean, an uber-lib social worker I used to work with posted this on Tuesday.

It’s true. 2021 might well be the year the world woke up the hard way, but still, what a friggin’ bummer despite the spectacular weather we in the Midwest had on Tuesday.

And then this popped into my feed:

This guy claims he works or worked for Big Pharma and doesn’t trust the data because the companies “produced” it too quickly, and then he goes on to talk about how he HAD to get the shots, even if he didn’t want to, just to have some semblance of a “normal life” resembling what he previously had and that the government is making it impossible to refuse if one is college educated.

Not kidding.

Okay, dude, yeah, I have a piece of paper that says I spent a lot of time in a classroom, and a lot of money to get it and the B.S. in Communications which does not really stand for Bachelor of Science, and the name of the institution on it I can almost guarantee is ranked higher than where ever it was he matriculated even if said ranking rests, usually, on the size of the school’s endowment. Are the graduates from my alma mater who are/were traditional students sheep? Of course they are. Before they spent tens of thousands for that piece of paper, they were mostly valedictorians. Valedictorians tend to toe the line and agree with teachers just for the grades. They don’t always think for themselves.

And right now, THAT’S OUR BIG PROBLEM! GROUPTHINK IS NOW A MATTER OF NATIONAL CRISIS.

This is the stuff college is SUPPOSED to teach, how to think, not how to follow the pack. And certainly not just blindly go out and get experimental gene therapy injected into an arm simply because a slimy worm in a white coat says you should and the lure of a promise of getting “back to normal,” whatever that is, is dangled before one’s glazed over eyes.

I mean, honestly, one can be only so numb to the really poor decisions being made all around us for so long before it is too much for even the most patient person out there.

Seriously, has no one noticed this?

No. We all have to research that for ourselves, and, hopefully, share what we learn.

Have a good day y’all.

(I don’t remember who brought this to a daily in the comments, but thanks.)

And, of course, the obligatory George Carlin:

Per the Boss:

I know I said we’d go through the horror film themes, but found this treat.

And now for the obligatory message from our sponsors:

Here at the Q tree we believe in the concept of CIVIL open free speech and the discussion that fleshes out ideas. When commenting and participating in the OPEN discussion on this thread all comments MUST NOT CONTAIN personal threats, baiting, name calling, or other anti-social words fomenting hate, violence or destruction. Our host Wolfm00n has strict rules about that.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.

  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone

Please, stock up on blanks for celebratory gunfire, be ready to swing from the chandeliers…and no messing with the nuclear weapons.

You’re welcome to visit over there and say hi to anyone hanging out over there. The “Rescue Thread” is also over there. In the event a rendezvous of the tree is needed, please check it out.

One other vital note:

Please, review these rules that our host Wolfm00n outlined toward the beginning of the growth of the tree itself. it won’t take long.

LUKE 11:42-46

42“But woe to you Pharisees! for you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God; these you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. 43Woe to you Pharisees! for you love the best seat in the synagogues and salutations in the market places. 44Woe to you! for you are like graves which are not seen, and men walk over them without knowing it.” 45One of the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, in saying this you reproach us also.” 46And he said, “Woe to you lawyers also! for you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

Do not be afraid to take a chance on peace, to teach peace, to live peace. Peace will be the last word of history” – St. Pope John Paul II

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

It’s one of those days.

And here we are. The powers that wannabe are giving it a shot. They are using fear and peer pressure to inoculate as many humans as possible with experimental gene therapy with no known long term effects. We here at the Q Tree know and understand that. Here’s a message for the sheepish groupies out there:

These are the same people, in many cases, who pop up on various social media platforms complaining that they can’t get on with their lives until the rest of us comply with non-existent federal mandates being enforced by money and power hungry persons in chairman and presidents seats.

Seriously, I’ve seen commentary similar from any number of people who wrap themselves in the flag when it is convenient.

What kind of Americans are they to lay down and give up FREEDOM so quickly?

Every now and then we are reminded what must be done to maintain those freedoms, not just from governments, but corporate tyranny as well. It is happening right now in the airline industry, and it is DISRUPTIVE and in some ways uncomfortable, but it needs to be.

For a good rundown on the situation with Southwest Airlines and the stand the flight crews are making, FG&C gives a good overview in yesterday’s daily.

Donald Trump Jr.@DonaldJTrumpJr

American media have blacked out the massive anti-mandate protests overseas so the Southwest strike might come as a surprise, but it’s not to anyone who’s been watching the pro-freedom uprisings around the world. More to come.

10:05 AM · Oct 11, 2021

Yes, there are those complaining about being inconvenienced, but for every one of them, there are just as many cheering on the first truly DISRUPTIVE action taken in this fight, the walkout of thousands of employees at Southwest Airlines (known in the DePat house as general admission airlines where the East Terminal at the home airport is a zoo compared to the Main).

Juanita did make it home, but this is the spirit we all need as our nice, comfortable, just in time American life gets major league DISTRUPTED to get the attention of the caste that wants to enslave us all. Inconvenience should be a badge of honor, not a nuisance.

The tinfoil hat wearers were right. Again. Imagine that.

Again, the slate of today’s Mass readings all fit.

ROMANS 1:16-25

16For I am not ashamed of the gospel: it is the power of God for salvation to every one who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “He who through faith is righteous shall live.” 18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of men who by their wickedness suppress the truth. 19For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20Ever since the creation of the world his invisible nature, namely, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse; 21for although they knew God they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking and their senseless minds were darkened. 22Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man or birds or animals or reptiles. 24Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever! Amen.

PSALMS 19:2-5

1The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. 2Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge. 3There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard; 4yet their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,

LUKE 11:37-41

37While he was speaking, a Pharisee asked him to dine with him; so he went in and sat at table. 38The Pharisee was astonished to see that he did not first wash before dinner. 39And the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside you are full of extortion and wickedness. 40You fools! Did not he who made the outside make the inside also? 41But give for alms those things which are within; and behold, everything is clean for you.

Amen.

RALLY THREAD: Save America – Des Moines, Iowa, October 9, 2021

Sorry for the delay folks. Too many irons in the fire today, but making progress on a lot of fronts. When Ying is finally bathed, life will be good.

So, today, the real President of the United States – no matter what the mainstream media says – is hosting a rally in Des Moines, Iowa, at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, a place most familiar to primary watchers.

There’s not much on Twitter as of this writing.

A little history of Des Moines:

Prehistoric inhabitants of early Des Moines

Based on archaeological evidence, the junction of the Des Moines and Raccoon Rivers has attracted humans for at least 7,000 years. Several prehistoric occupation areas have been identified by archaeologists in downtown Des Moines. Discovered in December 2010, the “Palace” is an expansive, 7,000-year-old site found during excavations prior to construction of the new wastewater treatment plant in southeastern Des Moines. It contains well-preserved house deposits and numerous graves. More than 6,000 artifacts were found at this site. State of Iowa archaeologist John Doershuk was assisted by University of Iowa archaeologists at this dig.[16]

At least three Late Prehistoric villages, dating from about AD 1300 to 1700, stood in or near what developed later as downtown Des Moines. In addition, 15 to 18 prehistoric American Indian mounds were observed in this area by early settlers. All have been destroyed during development of the city.[17][18]

Origin of Fort Des Moines

Des Moines traces its origins to May 1843, when Captain James Allen supervised the construction of a fort on the site where the Des Moines and Raccoon Rivers merge. Allen wanted to use the name Fort Raccoon; however, the U.S. War Department preferred Fort Des Moines. The fort was built to control the Sauk and Meskwaki tribes, whom the government had moved to the area from their traditional lands in eastern Iowa. The fort was abandoned in 1846 after the Sauk and Meskwaki were removed from the state and shifted to the Indian Territory.[19]

The Sauk and Meskwaki did not fare well in Des Moines. The illegal whiskey trade, combined with the destruction of traditional lifeways, led to severe problems for their society. One newspaper reported:

“It is a fact that the location of Fort Des Moines among the Sac and Fox Indians (under its present commander) for the last two years, had corrupted them more and lowered them deeper in the scale of vice and degradation, than all their intercourse with the whites for the ten years previous”.[19]

After official removal, the Meskwaki continued to return to Des Moines until around 1857.[18]

Archaeological excavations have shown that many fort-related features survived under what is now Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and First Street.[19][20] Soldiers stationed at Fort Des Moines opened the first coal mines in the area, mining coal from the riverbank for the fort’s blacksmith.[21]

Early, non-Native American, settlement

Excavation of the prehistoric component of the Bird’s Run Site in Des MoinesFlood of Des Moines, 1851

Settlers occupied the abandoned fort and nearby areas. On May 25, 1846, the state legislature designated Fort Des Moines as the seat of Polk County. Arozina Perkins, a school teacher who spent the winter of 1850–1851 in the town of Fort Des Moines, was not favorably impressed:

This is one of the strangest looking “cities” I ever saw… This town is at the juncture of the Des Moines and Raccoon Rivers. It is mostly a level prairie with a few swells or hills around it. We have a court house of “brick” and one church, a plain, framed building belonging to the Methodists. There are two taverns here, one of which has a most important little bell that rings together some fifty boarders. I cannot tell you how many dwellings there are, for I have not counted them; some are of logs, some of brick, some framed, and some are the remains of the old dragoon houses… The people support two papers and there are several dry goods shops. I have been into but four of them… Society is as varied as the buildings are. There are people from nearly every state, and Dutch, Swedes, etc.[22]

In May 1851, much of the town was destroyed during the Flood of 1851. “The Des Moines and Raccoon Rivers rose to an unprecedented height, inundating the entire country east of the Des Moines River. Crops were utterly destroyed, houses and fences swept away.”[23] The city started to rebuild from scratch.

DEAR MAGA: Open Thread 20211007

First things first:

Using fetal tissue lines is a no go for a lot of humans. Those babies, as fetus is Latin for baby, were once someone’s daughters or sons.

This has been on my mind of late:

From the Gospel According to St. Matthew, Chapter Four:

Jesus was led by the spirit into the desert, to be tempted by the devil. [2] And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he was hungry. [3] And the tempter coming said to him: If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. [4] Who answered and said: It is written, Not in bread alone doth man live, but in every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.
[5] Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him upon the pinnacle of the temple,[6] And said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down, for it is written: That he hath given his angels charge over thee, and in their hands shall they bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy foot against a stone. [7] Jesus said to him: It is written again: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. [8] Again the devil took him up into a very high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them, [9] And said to him: All these will I give thee, if falling down thou wilt adore me. [10] Then Jesus saith to him: Begone, Satan: for it is written, The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and him only shalt thou serve. [11] Then the devil left him; and behold angels came and ministered to him.

At first, I thought about this as a sibling rivalry, but really, the better comparison comes from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. The true Son, and the servant (Mr. Wickham) who is found wanting. We are seeing this unfold before our very eyes.

That looked like it hurt.

Just sayin’.

Carlin:

Check out the prices on the sign.

And now for the business portion.

Please review our HOST and site owner’s Guidelines for posting and discussion for this site. Wolf is kind enough to put up with *most* of us and our antics after thorough vetting. Violators of the baiting and deliberately attempting to divide the group rules WILL face consequences.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Company manners are appreciated. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog out discussions best saved for a wrestling mat. If, for some reason, this site is not available, head over to the UTree and visit the post at the top of the list or the closest rescue thread.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

THAT MEANS THAT ALL OF US HERE ARE ENTITLED TO OUR OPINIONS AND PREJUDICES, ETC., SO LONG AS THEY CAUSE NO PHYSICAL HARM TO OTHERS OR DOXX OUR FELLOW TREE DWELLERS.

All opinions here are valued for the diversity they bring to the issues, and the shaping of understanding regarding topics for which many of us do not have all information. Correcting the record on any one topic is appreciated.

Be careful in expressing thoughts as we would all like to think well of the rest of the group, and ill-thought out comments have a way of wrecking that for everyone.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights
  2. No running with scissors
  3. If you bring snacks, be sure they are made with bacon

Auntie DePat’s requests as we are all supposedly adults and don’t just play them on TV like the body doubles pretending to be the squatter in chief:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.

For those who are “papists” today is Our Lady of the Rosary. The original mysteries of the Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity, Presentation., Finding Jesus in the Temple, Agony in the Garden, Scourging at the Pillar, Crowning of Thorns, Carrying the Cross, Crucifixion, Resurrection, Ascension, Pentecost are prayed (as happens year round) along with the Sacred Tradition of the Assumption and the Crowning of Our Lady Queen of Heaven and Earth. (Pope Saint John Paul II added another group of mysteries, but the ones mentioned are the original group of mysteries), three divisions (Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious) with five decades a piece.

LUKE 1:46-55 (this is technically a canticle)

46And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, 47and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; 49for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. 50And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation. 51He has shown strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts, 52he has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree; 53he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away. 54He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, 55as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity for ever.”

Gospel

LUKE 1:26-38

26In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28And he came to her and said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!” 29But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. 30And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. 32He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there will be no end.” 34And Mary said to the angel, “How shall this be, since I have no husband?” 35And the angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. 36And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. 37For with God nothing will be impossible.” 38And Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

I’ve read that the reintroduction of wolves helped restore balance in the park. Interesting.

What would you pay good, hard earned money to see on pay per view?

I’ll give you an example. The Couch Commando would pay to see Hillary perp walked.

Any other thoughts?

Worth repeating.
MSDNC pushes coordinated FAKE, FALSE, MISLEADING DISINFORMATION based on a biased [D] political viewpoint [controlled mouthpiece(s)].
Blue checkmarks then defend and attack [target] opposing viewpoints using slander, aggression, suppression, group-think, etc. [suppression tactics].
Non-blue checkmarks then defend and promote attacker(s) [blues] viewpoint(s) [leftwing ‘cult’] to instill echo_chamber wall-to-wall amplified narrative for each designated subject.
Select [public discovery] topics are deemed and ranked in priority order [ranking determines use of assets [big-to-small]].
[How to herd the sheep (you) 101]
If you do not follow [remain in-line] with their political viewpoints you are deliberately made to feel in the minority [isolated] and inferior [using aggression-slander].
[If majority thinks x then x must be true _projected false reality _minority projected as majority using news _ social media platforms to spotlight designated viewpoints [the ‘narrative’]].
A public (person) that thinks for themselves [independent free-thought] is what they FEAR the most [loss of control].

Given the diverse places where the jabs and lockdowns are being protested, it’s a good bet that far more are already awake than they really want. Stuff like this is sad, but the sheer number of people dying and being injured is doing a lot to help the cause. It is horrifying that this is what it took.

Dolores Cahill takes the floor.

And about Luciferese, which was given Satan’s former name (he told an exorcist he used to go by that name, Lucifer, but since he fell, no) (yes, I put this up at some point last week, but it’s worth the refresher):

One more time:

Discovery in such a case would be mighty interesting.

And then there’s this:

If only it was that simple.

Word of advice from an opera singer who endured the Metropolitan Opera Auditions twice and Italian trained maestros…grow a thick skin. You’re going to need it in life. I was roundly criticized by more than one judge and more than one maestro for standing in ballet’s third position to sing. Seriously. You learn to let it roll.

Have a good day y’all.

(I don’t remember who brought this to a daily in the comments, but thanks.)

And, of course, the obligatory George Carlin:

Per the Boss:

It’s October. We’ll go with horror films until whatever we are waiting for happens. No clue what it’s going to look like, though.

  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone

Please, stock up on blanks for celebratory gunfire, be ready to swing from the chandeliers…and no messing with the nuclear weapons.

Please remember to remain locked and loaded and ready for trouble should the insurrectionists try to invade your space.

Those who have things to say that do not fit the generally accepted limits of “civil” discussion, Wolf has provided a venue known as the UTree. You’re welcome to visit over there and say hi to anyone hanging out over there. The “Rescue Thread” is also over there. In the event a rendezvous of the tree is needed, please check it out.

JONAH 4:1-11

1But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was angry. 2And he prayed to the LORD and said, “I pray thee, LORD, is not this what I said when I was yet in my country? That is why I made haste to flee to Tarshish; for I knew that thou art a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love 3Therefore now, O LORD, take my life from me, I beseech thee, for it is better for me to die than to live.” 4And the LORD said, “Do you do well to be angry?” 5Then Jonah went out of the city and sat to the east of the city, and made a booth for himself there. He sat under it in the shade, till he should see what would become of the city. 6And the LORD God appointed a plant, and made it come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to save him from his discomfort. So Jonah was exceedingly glad because of the plant. 7But when dawn came up the next day, God appointed a worm which attacked the plant, so that it withered. 8When the sun rose, God appointed a sultry east wind, and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah so that he was faint; and he asked that he might die, and said, “It is better for me to die than to live.” 9But God said to Jonah, “Do you do well to be angry for the plant?” And he said, “I do well to be angry, angry enough to die.” 10And the LORD said, “You pity the plant, for which you did not labor, nor did you make it grow, which came into being in a night, and perished in a night. 11And should not I pity Nin’eveh, that great city, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand persons who do not know their right hand from their left, and also much cattle?”

Do not be afraid to take a chance on peace, to teach peace, to live peace. Peace will be the last word of history” – St. Pope John Paul II

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

When watching science experiments videos, be sure to have a fire extinguisher handy. (Head to the link at “science experiments videos” to see what I mean. It wouldn’t embed.)
