Those individuals who fondly imagine they can do some kind of a deal with a minor
Chinese or Burmese overlord in the hills of the Golden Triangle apparently have no idea
of what is involved. If they had known, they would never have talked about stopping the
opium trade. Such talk reveals little knowledge of the immensity and complexity of
China’s opium trade, British plutocrats, the Russian KGB, the CIA, and U.S. bankers are
all in league with China. Could one man stop or even make a small dent in the trade? It
would be absurd to imagine it. What is heroin and why is it favored over cocaine these
days? According to the noted authority on the subject Professor Galen, heroin is a
derivative of opium, a drug that stupefies the senses and induces long periods of sleep.
This is what most addicts like, it is called “being in the arms of Morpheus.” Opium is the
most habit-forming drug known to man. Many pharmaceutical drugs contain opium in
various degrees, and it is believed that paper used in the manufacture of cigarettes is first
impregnated with opium, which is why smokers become so addicted to their habit… To advance to more modern history, the Chinese-British partnership was solidified by the
Hong Kong agreement which established an equal partnership in the opium trade. This
has proceeded smoothly, with an occasional ripple here and there, but while violence and
death, robbery and murder marked the progression of the Colombian cocaine trade, no
such baseness was allowed to disturb the heroin trade, which, as I said earlier, is once
again coming into the ascendancy as we near the end of 1991.


The major problem that arose in Sino-British relations during the past 60 years concerned
China’s demand for a larger slice of the opium-heroin pie. This was settled when Britain
agreed to hand Hong Kong over to full Chinese government control… The British oligarchical families of the Committee of 300 who were entrenched in
Canton at the height of the opium trade left their descendants in position. Look at a list of
prominent British residents in China and you will see the names of members of the
Committee of 300 among them. The same holds good for Hong Kong. These plutocrats
of a feudal era, that they seek to return to the world, control the gold and opium trade of
which Hong Kong is THE center. Burmese and Chinese opium poppy growers get paid in
gold; they do not trust the U.S. paper $100 bill. This explains the very large volume of
gold trade in the Hong Kong exchange….

2025.09.02 – American Stories: 24 Hours Dealing With The Medical Industry

Time for a break from the usual. I will return with more signers next week.

The following recent event happened a month ago in mid July. This is a discussion on the state of medical treatments for an average Joe, who likely represents thousands of patients nationwide each day. In this specific case it is about a close friend and brother in Christ, so it is personal.

For the record, our family’s approach toward the use of the medical industry has evolved into a belief that they are guilty until proven innocent in their motives. As a result we verify first, trust maybe after a great amount of consultation and prayer.

With the rebuild of the medical industry well underway through the Trump administration, it seemed appropriate to do an authored post about this very recent real life experience of our good friend, who has been sharing some of his story on fakebook. The idea for telling this story at all started with my reading this X post from Secretary Robert Kennedy that was shared by TheseTruths on here a few weeks ago.

The Back Story

For this true story I will call our friend “Bud”. Some may figure out he was a source for a BIMD story in that Bud is the same one who is long term friends and a former co-worker with country music superstar Morgan Wallen’s dad. Bud is in his early 50’s, married to the love of his life for 20+ years (his third marriage/her second); has three adult children from his first two marriages along with a step daughter from his wife, most of whom have spouses; has nine grandchildren; and has a growing six employee construction business with three family members working in it. He is nearly the same age as my step daughter, who went to high school with him although they did not know each other well.

I became acquainted with Bud a dozen years or so ago when he was referred to me by a neighbor as a good handyman. At the time Bud had been employed long term in the construction industry as a working supervisor in his speciality. However, he had learned a great deal about all aspects of residential and small commercial construction through the years. He also learned more from his father, who had built his own home as well as worked part time for other builders. Bud has been gifted the ability to figure things out and do them the right way when handling home construction, remodeling and repairs. With his after hours handyman workload picking up, he was faced with a decision, should he continue on his own full time or stay in a decent job that had no upside while continuing to moonlight as a handyman.

Over the next year he did work for us and many others around the area. We got better acquainted and learned each other’s life stories, shared our common faith, got to know each other’s families and friends, and so on. He justified my trust enough that we could leave town on a Fall Frolic or other trip and I could give him jobs to do in our absence and never have the first concern about it. He never had to be concerned about getting paid, beating him down on price, or ignoring his recommendations. We treat each other respectfully and fair, but more importantly, we have developed a bond of friendship well beyond the work. We love them and they love us as family.

One day he stopped by our house because he knew my business and banking background. He asked my opinion if he should go full time into his own business, that he felt led to do so and his wife supported whatever decision he made. Her job was good, stable and could provide health insurance. I told him that if the Lord was putting it on his heart, he had no choice. I confirmed that I had never met a more conscientious builder/home repair guy in all my years of lending into the industry as well as with my own, more limited residential home building and ownership experience. I reaffirmed he had the expertise and work ethic to be successful if he had access to good customers that needed his services at fair prices. We talked it through some more and he called me a week later to say he had pulled the trigger. His mid-life crisis at around age 40 was to start a business. 😀

From that point over the next decade his workload and business grew. He and his company are a rarity in an industry populated by a number of crooks, posers, and wannabes.

All of which leads to this current point in time and the related medical industry story.

Medical Emergency

Bud has been experiencing pains in his gut at infrequent, random times for a couple of years. For background purposes; diverticulitis runs in his family, so he attributed the pain to that. He would go to a GI doc, have blood tests and be scoped – nothing. Last month the pain knocked him for a loop and he headed to the nearest hospital ER fast due to the extreme pain. Bud’s wife works in an administrative office in a competing hospital, but there was not enough time to get there.

For those who are wondering, Bud took just the first jab, did not get the second and had nothing after that. He grew uneasy by what was going on. He has also been a half pack a day cigarette smoker. the periodic gut pains had been going on randomly for ten years, just not as acute.

Things started off well; he was seen quickly, admitted, scans/tests run, provided a room, etc. The nursing staff and on staff resident doc examined and gave him a pain med. They told him an assigned surgeon had read the scans and part of his colon was dead. They also saw another spot of concern at the lower end of his colon. The resection surgery would mean he would have to wear a bag for at least 6 months. He is a hands on builder who also does the electrical and plumbing roles himself, so there would be added financial and scheduling burdens from adding subcontractors for this replacement work as a result. Not good – Bud was worried.

They told him he would need a colonoscopy the following morning, then the surgeon (former military doc) would operate the day after that. Bud said if the man would not come to his room and talk to him personally first that he would not be cutting on him. They told him the surgeon was great, but never saw any patient before surgery. Bud’s wife verified that statement was true with her co-workers at the other hospital. Bud told his wife to have him moved to her hospital and find another doc for a second opinion. The current hospital agreed to release him. Then Bud and wife found out how much they would have to pay out of pocket to both hospitals if they did so. They could not afford it and were stuck.

It was at this point that he texted me from his hospital room to update. He said they were working on alternatives. I told him we were praying for him and that my father had exactly the same problem 60 years ago. His surgeon did a similar procedure without using a bag after giving him antibiotics for a serious infection first. My father recovered quickly after the surgery and lived another 40 years without issue. It lifted Bud’s spirits to learn this.

Bud’s daughter is in nursing in a city a couple hours away. She told them to do nothing that evening; to wait for her to get back with them. She had surgical nurse friends that might know a good alternative. So they bedded down for the night. The colonoscopy guy came in early the next morning and told him it was time to do the procedure. Bud said no it wasn’t, the nursing staff never prepped him for it. The guy was then pizzed at the nursing staff. They told him they thought Bud was leaving and going somewhere else. So they start prepping him only to mess it all up. Prep fluids and fecal matter start flowing out everywhere on Bud, the bed, the floor, etc. 😂 They then had to clean him and the room up. After all of that he was taken to be scoped.

Soon after he was brought back to his room a different surgeon (Doc #2) walked into his room. Doc #2 told him that a friend of Bud’s daughter had contacted his office and asked him to give a second opinion. He asked Bud if that was OK and he responded that he was relieved and appreciative. Doc #2 told him he had reviewed the scans, blood tests and exam notes – he indeed appeared to have a partially dead colon. He was relieved to learn from Doc #2 that all scans and tests showed he was negative for cancer, since idgit doc did not let him know anything. Doc #2 did a quick examination. Bud asked him about the spot they wanted to check with the colonoscopy. He responded that it was just a small amount of fecal matter that showed up in the scans. Bud asked what would happen after the surgery that was scheduled the next day. Doc #2 asked, “What surgery?” Then proceeded to explain there would not be surgery for several months unless his condition worsened if he chose to use his services.

Bud was puzzled at this point. Doc #2 told him he would first prescribe a series of antibiotics to clear the infection that set up in his colon that was causing the pain. Once it was cleared up he would do more scans and know more about its condition before doing any surgery. Bud asked why the idgit surgeon did not diagnose the infection so that antibiotics could be used first? Doc #2 rolled his eyes, but refused to speculate. Bud asked him if he would have to wear a bag after the surgery. Doc #2 said nope, he would remove the dead section and close. He predicted if all went well he would have a recovery time in the hospital of about four days afterwards. Bud decided to press his luck and told Doc #2 that he had a long planned vacation to FL before this happened that was supposed to start in two days. Doc #2 said to go, take the meds, and do no heavy lifting. The couple’s four grandkids who were going with them received the good news and were elated.

Bud called to give me an update after the exam. He thanked us for the prayers. I asked him if they fire hosed him and the room down after the colonoscopy prep. He had a good laugh, so I knew the pain meds were working well.

Sometimes the difference 24 hours can make is mind boggling. God is so good. All we have to do is to learn to wait and pay attention.

I talked with Bud again a few days afterwards as he was laying under a canopy at the hotel pool. His wife drove them down, he was feeling much better, the antibiotics seemed to be helping. His pain was minimal. It had dawned on him fully that the Lord still has plans for him springing from this crisis in his life.

God’s Provision

Bud’s father came to the Christian faith later in life at around age 40. He had lived rough up to that point. He was a former hard living Vietnam vet and factory worker. When he accepted Christ he changed dramatically and made a positive impact on the lives of his wife and children. This eventually led to him becoming a pastor in a small church in a poverty stricken community in his time off from his factory job. The church flourished and became a light to the community. Lives were changed. He retired recently at age 70. He is one of the finest men I have ever met.

During his father’s first visit that evening with Bud in the hospital he pointed out that God did not want him to go to the other hospital or it would have been an open door with the right surgeon provided and nothing would be getting in his way. He urged Bud to be patient and wait on God to provide what was best. The next day it all changed for the better.

I initially brought this story because of the ridiculous handing of the medical diagnosis and treatment of my friend. He was at a very vulnerable point and the medical system was set up against him. Had Bud and his wife not stood their ground he may have been butchered or given a death sentence by this grievous error. Had his daughter not solicited help for a second opinion from a reputable, competent surgeon they may have given in and had it done when all he needed immediately was antibiotics and rest. He should have been given options on treatment and surgery. The idgit surgeon had to know it was an option to try to heal the infection before any surgery, but refused to speak with the patient and was going to cut him open anyway. The untreated infection could have easily caused the surgery to be a failure. It also could have led to more of his colon being removed than was necessary as well. This would have affected Bud’s quality of life. Idgit’s actions were malpractice with what could be considered as malicious intent in my opinion

I shudder to think about what COULD have been if they had not delayed the decision and sought a second opinion under God’s guidance. There was potential for a tragic loss to loved ones, employees, customers, church and community.

In truth, at some point Bud could have been reduced to an organ donor by simply going to a hospital to be healed of something that has commonly been treated successfully in the manner that Doc #2 is using just as my own father’s situation was handled sixty years ago. Which makes me wonder about how many other people go through experiences similar to these throughout the nation on a daily basis.

As I finish this story, I need to relay a more recent conversation with Bud. He went to a scheduled appointment with Doc #2. After exam and tests he determined that the infection is being handled well. It is now time to start the pre-surgery preparation, which will be in early October as compared to the Idgit’s desires. It will be robotic with a laparoscopic incision to reduce chances for infection and improve healing time. Idgit planned traditional surgery with the bag. I doubt he would have even been capable of doing what Doc #2 is planning, who is obviously much more qualified. Bud also learned Idgit was planing to leave on a two week vacation the next day after the scheduled surgery. Hard to believe, but true.

Once again the lesson is to wait on the Lord.

In preparation Doc #2 wants Bud to do a one mile fitness walk every day to build his core stronger and ready for the surgery. The couple live on top of a hill and the road has a steep incline, so building his core should not be a problem. His wife is also using it as an opportunity to improve her health as they walk together in the evenings. A revised diet has started with no red meat, no desserts, more water, less caffeine, soft foods, etc. The third thing was addressed with him eye to eye – Doc #2 ordered him to quit smoking if he wanted to live. He wants all of the nicotine and stuff out of his system over the next two months to improve his chances for a full recovery. Bud is on board with it and began immediately.

Doc #2 plans to have him out of the hospital in four days post surgery as predicted previously. He will be under a no lifting restriction for three months to keep the bag away. Needless to say, Bud has no problem with complying and has employees who can handle the heavy lifting.

He is in an introspective, more joyful state of mind now. He is thinking things through and waiting on the Lord to give him clarity about how to proceed with his life from here. Selfishly and from the cheap seats, I would tell him to keep doing what he is doing. He just needs to take more time to decompress and enjoy the blessings in his life. So many people need the presence of this man until the Lord calls him home.

If you get a spare moment, please pray for Bud’s healing. Then take time to let others you care about know what they mean to you. If you need a medical provider, keep your eyes and options open. As we see in this story; there are sincere, competent professionals you can trust. There are also money hungry losers with no concern for you. Take nothing at face value, ask questions, consult with others you trust, and spend time with the Lord to gain clarity. Do not allow yourself to be set up to be a potential organ donor.

Is Zechariah 12:10 a Messianic prophecy?

Zechariah 12:10 reads, “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.” This prediction, that Israel will see someone whom they “pierced,” is amazing because it is God Himself speaking—the Lord is the One who is “pierced.” This appears to fit later descriptions of Jesus Christ’s suffering. Indeed, the New Testament specifies that this prophecy is truly Messianic.

This verse indicates a future time when the Jewish people will plead for the mercy of God. This will happen when they see “the one they have pierced.” Zechariah’s verse is mentioned in John 19:36-37 when Jesus, hanging on the cross, was pierced with a spear: “These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: . . . ‘They will look on the one they have pierced.’” Revelation 1:7 adds, “Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him”—definitely an allusion to Zechariah 12:10. Isaiah 53:5 also predicts that the Messiah would be pierced: “But he was pierced for our transgressions.”

In addition to the idea of a “pierced” God is the concept of the “only child.” Zechariah’s mention of a “firstborn son” bears an unmistakable connection to Jesus as God’s Son. The Hebrew word bekor was translated in the Septuagint as prototokos, the same term used for Jesus in Colossians 1:15: “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn [prototokos] of all creation.” And, of course, there is John 3:16, which includes a reference to Jesus as God’s “one and only Son.”

This Messianic prophecy has not yet been completely fulfilled. Jesus has been “pierced,” but there will still be a future time when all of Jerusalem will see Him and mourn their ill treatment of Him. At that time, they will cry out to God for mercy, and He will answer them by saving them from their enemies: “On that day the LORD will shield those who live in Jerusalem. . . . I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem” (Zechariah 12:8-9). These events will occur at the end of the tribulation period at Christ’s second coming.

In summary, Zechariah 12:10 predicts the piercing of the Son of God, the Messiah, fulfilled at the first coming of Jesus Christ when He died on the cross and was pierced by a spear in His side (John 19:36–37). The complete fulfillment of this verse awaits the last days when the Jewish people will plead for mercy from the One they have pierced.

Romans 11:  25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written:

“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”

Will all Israel be saved in the end times (Romans 11:26)?

Romans 11:26 plainly says, “All Israel will be saved.” The question that arises is: “What is meant by Israel?” Is the future “Israel” literal or figurative (i.e., referring to the ethnic Jews or referring to the Church)? Those who take a literal approach to the promises of the Old Testament believe that the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will be restored to a right relationship with God and receive the fulfillment of the covenants. Those who advocate replacement theology basically affirm that the Church has completely replaced Israel and will inherit God’s promises to Israel; the covenants, then, will be fulfilled only in a spiritual sense. In other words, replacement theology teaches that Israel will not inherit the actual land of Israel; the Church is the “new Israel,” and ethnic Israel is forever excluded from the promises—the Jews will not inherit the Promised Land as Jews per se.

We take the literal approach. The passages that speak of future Israel are difficult to view as figurative for the Church. The classic text (Romans 11:16–24) depicts Israel as distinct from the Church: the “natural branches” are the Jews, and the “wild branches” are the Gentiles. The “olive tree” is the collective people of God. The “natural branches” (Jews) are “cut off” the tree for unbelief, and the “wild branches” (believing Gentiles) are grafted in. This has the effect of making the Jews “jealous” and then drawing them to faith in Christ, so they might be “grafted in” again and receive their promised inheritance. The “natural branches” are still distinct from the “wild branches,” so that God’s covenant with His people is literally fulfilled. Romans 11:26–29, citing Isaiah 59:20–21; 27:9; Jeremiah 31:33–34, says:

“And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.’ As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.”

Here, Paul emphasizes the “irrevocable” nature of Israel’s calling as a nation (see also Romans 11:12). Isaiah predicted that a “remnant” of Israel would one day “be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD” (Isaiah 62:12). Regardless of Israel’s current state of unbelief, a future remnant will in fact repent and fulfill their calling to establish righteousness by faith (Romans 10:1–8; 11:5). This conversion will coincide with the fulfillment of Moses’ prediction of Israel’s permanent restoration to the land (Deuteronomy 30:1–10).

When Paul says Israel will be “saved” in Romans 11:26, he refers to their deliverance from sin (verse 27) as they accept the Savior, their Messiah, in the end times. Moses said, “The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live” (Deuteronomy 30:6). Israel’s physical inheritance of the land promised to Abraham will be an integral part of God’s ultimate plan (Deuteronomy 30:3–5).

So how will “all Israel be saved”? The details of this deliverance are filled out in passages such as Zechariah 8—14 and Revelation 7—19, which speak of end-times Israel at Christ’s return. The key verse describing the coming to faith of the future remnant of Israel is Zechariah 12:10, “I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.” This occurs at the end of the tribulation prophesied in Daniel 9:24–27. The apostle John references this event in Revelation 1:7. The faithful remnant of Israel is epitomized in Revelation 7:1–8. These faithful ones the Lord will save and bring back to Jerusalem “in truth and righteousness” (Zechariah 8:7–8, NASB).

After Israel is spiritually restored, Christ will establish His millennial kingdom on earth. Israel will be regathered from the ends of the earth (Isaiah 11:12; 62:10). The symbolic “dry bones” of Ezekiel’s vision will be brought together, covered with flesh, and miraculously resuscitated (Ezekiel 37:1–14). As God promised, the salvation of Israel will involve both a spiritual awakening and a geographical home: “I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land” (Ezekiel 37:14).

In the Day of the Lord, God will “reclaim the surviving remnant of his people” (Isaiah 11:11). Jesus Christ will return and destroy the armies gathered against Him in rebellion (Revelation 19). Sinners will be judged, and the faithful remnant of Israel will be set apart forever as God’s holy people (Zechariah 13:8—14:21). Isaiah 12 is their song of deliverance; Zion will rule over all the nations under the banner of Messiah the King.

*The SteveInCO Federal Reserve Note Suckage Index (FRNSI) is a measure of how much the dollar has inflated. It’s the ratio of the current price of gold, to the number of dollars an ounce of fine gold made up when the dollar was defined as 25.8 grains of 0.900 gold. That worked out to an ounce being $20.67+71/387 of a cent. (Note gold wasn’t worth this much back then, thus much gold was $20.67 71/387ths. It’s a subtle distinction. One ounce of gold wasn’t worth $20.67 back then, it was $20.67.) Once this ratio is computed, 1 is subtracted from it so that the number is zero when the dollar is at its proper value, indicating zero suckage.

The Unit You (Probably) Never Heard Of

It’s oftentimes convenient for people in technical fields to think in terms of ratios. For instance, a translucent object might block 90 percent of the light that goes through it.

It makes no sense to talk about the object blocking so-and-so many lumens, because how much it blocks depends on how bright the light source is. But it does make sense to say something like “it blocks 90 percent of the light that goes through it.” Or that it “transmits ten percent of the light that goes through it.” You could write down that its “transmissivity” is 0.1. The problem is that the “transmissivity” could be some really low number, like one over a billion, 0.000000001.

To make the numbers more manageable, use logarithms. 0.1 is 1×10-1, so say the transmissivity is -1. And in the second case, you’re dealing with 1×10-9, so the transmissivity is -9. And you could call the unit the “bel.” So a transmissivity of -1 bel, or -9 bel.

Convenience like this is not quite sufficient reason to justify using a logarithm instead of a “straight” number, though. But it does make sense to do it this way for other reasons. For example, if you’re dealing with a light source, or a signal, going through multiple things that cause a loss, it turns out you multiply the losses together. Going through two translucent objects each of which have a transmissivity of -1 bel, thus each blocking 90 percent of the light, leaves you with one percent–the first object reduces to ten percent, and the second reduces to ten percent of what’s left over, i.e., ten percent of ten percent, which is to say one percent, total transmissivity -2 bels…which is the sum of the two individual transmissivities (-1 each).

But the fact of the matter is, we don’t use bels for this sort of thing. We use units one tenth that size, i.e., decibels. A tenfold reduction is given as -10 decibels (dB), not -1 bel (B). It turns out that -3 dB is roughly 1/2; -6 dB is roughly 1/2*1/2=1/4, -9 dB is 1/8th. Electrical engineers and technicians often deal with losses (and sometimes boosts to signals) and work in decibels all the time, and will often refer to a doubling (or halving) as 3dB.

Photographers work in “stops”–a stop is a doubling or halving of the light hitting the film or sensor–you can go a stop higher by doubling the exposure or changing the aperture by a factor of 1.4 (aperture is an area, so making it 40 percent wider makes it twice as big). So one “stop” is 3dB. If your camera can adjust exposure in thirds of a stop, it’s working in single decibels–unbeknownst to almost all photographers.

Absolute strengths, like say electrical is sometimes characterized in “dBm”–decibels compared to a milliwatt. A ten watt source is “40 dBm” because it’s 10,000 milliwatts and that’s 40 decibels above a milliwatt.

But one of the most common uses of decibels in in something called the “Signal to Noise Ratio” (SNR). Compare the strength of the signal you want to receive–say a radio transmission–and compare it to the strength of the static (noise). You get a ratio; maybe the signal is eight times stronger than the static. Turn that into decibels, and your SNR is 9 dB. If the two levels are identical, SNR is 0 db (not 1).

I didn’t write this section to add to the science series, but rather to explain why I am now about to tell you to…

Consider It Permanent

Before I continue, while you all are still not boiling mad at me, I want to give a loud shoutout to TheseTruths. TheseTruths is the best at identifying logical fallacies and pushing back on the BS that all people sometimes bring here, but some people always bring here. I do not except myself. TheseTruths is better at this than I am. Sometimes I’d read something, it would peg my bullshit meter, but I couldn’t tell why; at least not in a way I could put into words. TheseTruths would often post, identifying exactly why.

You all would do well to emulate These Truths. I hope you can. If Q was there to teach us how to think, then we should think well and not just latch onto whatever bullshit is tossed out there that fits our prejudices.

Anyhow, to start the story, clear back in the Spring, I anticipated working on a big project running into August and decided to curtail writing science posts until then.

In hindsight, though I didn’t know it at the time, the beginning of the end was when two…individuals…decided that because I don’t think it’s a good idea for Iran to have a nuke, I must therefore be more loyal to Israel than the United States. (No, you fucking morons, it’s because I consider an Iranian nuke a threat to the US. And so does President Trump. Is he a Zionist?)

One of the two is a very prolific poster, mostly bullshit, but occasionally I would respond to something that wasn’t just a long discursive dump from the paste buffer. I liked this individual in spite of the bullshit. Not any more; even after all these weeks I have nothing but contempt for her.

My recent total absence from this site starting a couple of weeks later, however, was because I was sick of the histrionics being engaged in at the time (I didn’t say so then, but it was the histrionics over Epstein). There’s no particular reason why that should be the straw that broke the camel’s back. It wasn’t that bad. But in hindsight, it was just sheer luck in timing; I was close to the big “Fuck It” already thanks to the shitbags; this just pushed me over the line.

I thought I simply needed to go away for a while; I fully intended to come back, eventually. I was running out of time for the project anyway, so it was just as well.

I could tell you that the project was a success–but frankly, I doubt anyone will care by the time they get done reading this.

Because a funny thing happened about two weeks after I went completely absent (and well before the last minute crunch on the project).

I realized that on the whole I simply don’t miss this place.

There ARE individual people that I do miss, but the site as a whole? The SNR is less than zero.

It is unfortunate that I must leave some of you in the position of wondering whether I considered you part of the problem–that’s assuming of course that you’re not towering mad at me right now and don’t care what I think.

But I’ll say that the overwhelming majority of you aren’t. There are good people here, but you’re drowned out by noise from prolific noisemakers.

At the end of the day, the sad fact is that thanks to a very few this place had become a poor use of my time, and I find now I have time to do other things. Relaxing things, or productive things. I can even read a book!

And I honestly feel the same way I felt when I stopped watching network TV entertainment; like I’ve given up something addictive, time-sucking, and mind-impairing. A sad comment for a site that’s supposed to be about getting people to think. Today’s offering is about the “under-the-table” work, the “being performed but under another name” work, the “grandfathered-in” work, of Gain-of-Function (GoF) experiments that are onoing. These GoF experiments involve experiments with mRNA-based platforms; with “inactivated virus” platforms; and, with “novel delivery” platforms. These GoF experiments are being funded by “private Big Money”; and, by the United States government (in other words, with taxpayer money.) This post is long; please bear with me.

It is now well-known that the COVID-19 disaster was a product of GoF experiments, of two types: One, the GoF work that was performed in various labs (the Baric Lab at UNC, Chapel Hill; the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Wuhan, Communist China; the United States Army biological weapons labs at Ft. Detrick, Maryland, among others.) And, Two, the GoF work that was performed using the lab-created Wuhan Hu1 SARS-CoV-2 virus itself as the foundation for the modRNA (aka mRNA) COVID-19 “vaccines” that were developed by numerous companies, among them: PfizerUSA (at the company’s Pearl River, New York, facility; and, at other facilities); and, BioNTech (Mainz, Germany); Moderna (with the NIAID in Bethesda, Maryland, and at other facilities) — for use in the United States and also world-wide. (Note: PfizerUSA and BioNTech are separate companies that operate as a “joint venture” called Pfizer-BioNTech. PfizerUSA and BioNTech each have a separate CEO [Chief Executive Officer].)

Regarding the first Jon Fleetwood article: The 260 study subject children were living in South Africa, and were between the ages of 10 and 18 years. They were confirmed by to be HIV-negative at the time they were added to the study subject pool. They were injected with the Danish tuberculosis vaccine BCG1331 strain (Bacille Calmette-Guerin). The BCG1331 strain is the Mycobacterium bovis strain, which causes tuberculosis in cattle and can also cause the disease in humans, especially in HIV-compromised persons. In other words, 260 children now have tuberculosis because of the BCG1331 strain vaccine that they were injected with. And that Bill Gates funded this “human guinea-pig experiment.” But there’s more — the Fleetwood article also describes the Bill Gates-funded Mycobacterium bovis experiments at the University of Texas, performed in 2012, that resulted in a what may be called a “turbo-charged Gain-of-Function” version of this tuberculosis bacterium. There was a 100% incidence of “shedding” of this lab-created chimeric oral polio “vaccine.” Six human subjects were released from the study when it was found that testing of their stool showed they had possibly contracted the oral vaccine virus from other study subjects. Regarding the third Fleetwood article: Bill Gates has funded the creation of a new technology, called “SLIM microneedle”, which injects “microcrystals” of a contraceptive drug (levonorgestrel) into the body of a female; and, which microcrystals then”self-assemble” into an “implant” inside her body. The paper describes the experiments performed to find the “right combination” of levonorgestrel + Benzyl Benzoate to create the SLIM delivery system — the “winning delivery system candidate” was named “LNG-BB.” Benzyl Benzoate is clearly dangerous. And this is the “long-lasting solvent” that is used in the SLIM microneedle “self-aggregating” delivery system for levonorgestrel. Which means that this solvent will be acting in the body of the female who uses this delivery system for this drug for an (undetermined) amount of time.

Now, on to a recent GoF experiment, this one funded by NIH / NIAID, at the University of Pittsburgh. This GoF experiment resulted in the lab-creation of a chimeric H5N1 Avian Influenza virus strain that could infect dairy cattle. Isn’t it “convenient timing” that this “new, chimeric VSV + H5N1 virus” comes on the heels of the announcement by the White House on 5 May 2025, that Gain-of-Function research would be stopped — but it appears that “certain contracts” would be permitted to “finish out”? And, that one of those “certain contracts” is with Arcturus Therapeutics for its self-amplifying RNA (saRNA) Avian Influenza “vaccine”, ARCT-2304? This “bird flu vaccine cocktail” contains BPL (Beta-propiolactone), a known carcinogen.

Note that the Patent was registered in July 2020 — which can only mean that work on the experiments to lab-create this “Avian Influenza cocktail vaccine” must have begun at least nine months earlier. This would place the commencement of the experiments around October 2019 — just before the COVID-19 original virus was unleashed on on the world.

It is not enough that HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., terminated 22 contracts for mRNA research in May of this year, but allowed “certain contracts” for mRNA (and saRNA) research to “finish out.” It is not enough that the White House announced a ban on Gain-of-Function research, since this type of research is still going on — funded by “private Big Money”, and/or by the NIH / NIAID (in other words, the United States government). The entire Gain-of-Function situation must be stopped, from all funding sources and on all levels of research and experimentation — until there are clear, firm, and enforceable regulations and restrictions on who can perform this type of research; that such research can only be permitted under strict circumstances; that such research must be under tight supervision; and, that such research can only be performed where there is a clear need in the area of public health — not what amounts to a “chimeric fishing expedition” to lab-create viruses. It is time for any and all “go-along-to-get-along” activities to stop — such as, bowing to the “demand” by Sen. Dr. Bill Cassidy for his “cooperation” in “working with” HHS as regards hiring, or anything else. By the way — Sen. Secret meeting in Ascona – Swiss National Museum

On 18 and 19 March 1945, the spring festival in honour of St Joseph was held on the piazza of Ascona. Despite the war, large crowds attended, and celebrated in high spirits. At the same time, a set of secret meetings was taking place in this little fishing village. These meetings are known today as ‘Operation Sunrise’ or ‘Operation Crossword’, and brought together high-ranking representatives of the warring powers around one table. Swiss mediators rounded off the panel. The subject of the negotiations was the surrender of the German armed forces in northern Italy.

The meeting attendees, all of them dressed in civilian clothes, were SS Obergruppenführer Karl Wolff, Major General Lyman L. Lemnitzer for the United States and Major General Terence S. Airey for the United Kingdom. The meeting had been organised by Allen Dulles, head of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in Bern – a US intelligence agency associated with the US War Department – together with his right-hand man, the German-American Gero von Schulze-Gaevernitz. Italian baron Luigi Parilli, Swiss intelligence officer Max Waibel, and Max Husmann, founder and director of the Montana Institute at Zugerberg, were also present. There were also adjutants, secretaries, translators and bodyguards. The group consisted of at least 20 people. The Russians were not present…

Operation Sunrise had advantages for many of those involved. SS General Karl Wolff was treated surprisingly leniently by the judiciary, despite his involvement in numerous war crimes. He spent less than nine years in prison, and died in 1984 at Prien am Chiemsee. SS Sturmbannführer Eugen Wenner was given no punishment at all, and worked for the CIA in South America after the war. Allen Dulles, who went on to become CIA Director, surely had a hand in this engagement.

The negotiations with Wolff put a significant shine on the poor operational performance of the OSS in Switzerland, and were a key argument for Dulles’ taking over directorship of the CIA. However, Dulles’ working methods remained contentious even after World War II. Under his leadership, several bloody coups d’état were carried out in Southeast Asia and in Central and Latin America. These events shaped US foreign policy for decades. In 1961 Allen Dulles was fired by J.F. Kennedy after the failed Bay of Pigs invasion in Cuba…

Operation Armoured Fist (Unternehmen Panzerfaust a.k.a. Unternehmen Eisenfaust, October 1944) – kidnapping of Miklós Horthy Jr. to force his father, Admiral Miklós Horthy, to resign as Regent of Hungary in favor of Ferenc Szálasi, the pro-Nazi leader of the Arrow Cross Party.

Operation Griffin (Unternehmen Greif, December 1944) – A false flag operation to spread disinformation during the Battle of the Bulge.

The next question is, was Operation Gladio real?


Operation Gladio

This is a 10 year old article with some sourcing.

Gladio was part of a series of national operations first coordinated by the Clandestine Committee of the Western Union (CCWU), founded in 1948. After the creation of NATO in 1949, the CCWU was integrated into the Clandestine Planning Committee (CPC), founded in 1951 and overseen by Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), transferred to Belgium after France’s official withdrawal from NATO’s Military Committee in 1966 – which was not followed by the dissolution of the French stay-behind paramilitary movements.

The role of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Gladio and the extent of its activities during the Cold War era, and any relationship to terrorist attacks perpetrated in Italy during the “Years of Lead” (late 1960s to early 1980s) is the subject of debate. Switzerland and Belgium have had parliamentary inquiries into the matter.[2] …

Historian Daniele Ganser alleges that:[3]

Next to the CPC, a second secret army command center, labeled Allied Clandestine Committee (ACC), was set up in 1957 on the orders of NATO’s 

Supreme Allied Commander in Europe (SACEUR). This military structure provided for significant US leverage over the secret stay-behind networks in Western Europe as the SACEUR, throughout NATO’s history, has traditionally been a US General who reports to the Pentagon in Washington and is based in NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium. The ACC’s duties included elaborating on the directives of the network, developing its clandestine capability, and organizing bases in Britain and the United States. In wartime, it was to plan stay-behind operations in conjunction with SHAPE. According to former CIA director 

William Colby, it was ‘a major program’.

Coordinated by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), {the secret armies} were run by the European military 

secret services in close cooperation with the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the British foreign secret service 

Secret Intelligence Service (SIS, also MI6). Trained together with US 

Green Berets and British 

Special Air Service (SAS), these clandestine NATO soldiers, armed with underground arms-caches, prepared against a potential Soviet invasion and occupation of Western Europe, as well as the coming to power of communist parties. The clandestine international network covered the European NATO membership, including Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey, as well as the neutral European countries of Austria, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland.

The Central Intelligence Agency responded to the series of accusations made by Mr. Ganser in his book regarding the CIA’s involvement in Operation Gladio, by claiming that neither Ganser nor anyone else could have solid evidence supporting their accusations. At one point in his book, Mr. Ganser even talks about the CIA’s covert action policies as being “terrorist in nature” and then accuses the CIA of using their “networks for political terrorism”. The CIA has responded by noting that Daniele Ganser’s sourcing is “largely secondary” and that Ganser himself has complained about “not being able to find any official sources to support his charges of the CIA’s or any Western European government’s involvement with Gladio”.[4]

The existence of these clandestine NATO units remained a closely guarded secret throughout the Cold War until 1990, when the first branch of the international network was discovered in Italy...

Upon learning of the discovery, the parliament of the European Union (EU) drafted a resolution sharply criticizing the fact (…) Yet only Italy, Belgium and Switzerland carried out parliamentary investigations, while the administration of President George H. W. Bush refused to comment.[5]

NATO’s Secret Armies. Operation GLADIO and the Strategy of Tension — Interview with Dr. Daniele Ganser

…DG: It was really my interest that guided my steps. I tried first to establish whether it was a fact that NATO had secret armies. So I went back to the records and looked at the November 22nd 1990 Resolution of the European Parliament, which I have here, and which states: “The European Union Parliament protests vigorously at the assumption by certain US military personnel at SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) and in NATO of the right to encourage the establishment in Europe of a clandestine intelligence and operations network.” By this I understood there was a secret network in Europe against which the European Union was protesting, and NATO was declining to respond. So it was like a fight between the big guys: the European Union on the one hand and NATO on the other.

I found this very interesting, so I looked further into the details and discovered that the Italian Prime Minister, Giulio Andreotti, had confirmed the existence of a secret army in Italy. And it was very funny, because the French President at the time, FranÇois Mitterand, said: “No, we didn’t have a secret army.” Then Andreotti said: “Oh yes, very much so, there was a meeting in 1990 and the French were part of it.” So, Paris was really embarrassed, because they had to retract their denial and admit that they had a stay-behind army. It was a scandal with countries contradicting each other. Suffice to say that in the end I had enough solid data to confirm absolutely and beyond any doubt that NATO had secret armies, called Gladio in Italy and stay-behind in other countries.…

 One thing is solid. We know for sure that these secret stay-behind armies were co-ordinated by NATO, because Italian Generals, who directed the secret armies, openly admitted that NATO had two branches that secretly co-ordinated those networks, the Allied Clandestine Committee and the Clandestine Planning Committee. These are substructures within NATO. People don’t understand that NATO is not a transparent organization. They think they can just call NATO and ask about Gladio, and the Press Officer will give them the information. That’s not the case; NATO is a military organization, and it guards its secrets very well. Here’s another point. On November 5, 1990, a NATO spokesman told an inquisitive press:

“NATO has never contemplated guerrilla war or clandestine operations.”

So, in 1990 when the scandal broke, NATO at first denied having any link to Operation Gladio. However, the following day NATO officials admitted that the previous day’s denial had been false, adding, however, that the alliance would not comment on matters of military secrecy. So, basically, NATO denied the existence of the stay-behind units, and then when enough countries said otherwise, they said: “Ah yes, but we can’t comment; it’s Top Secret.” Actually the CIA and MI6 did the same thing. When we (that is, our network of researchers who study secret warfare) asked NATO, the CIA and MI6: “Are you linked with terrorism?”, they replied: “No, we have nothing to do with terrorism. If anyone in the stay-behind network were linked to terrorism, that person would be a rogue agent with, perhaps, alcohol, moral or sexual problems.”….

So yes, Operation Gladio is real and it is connected to NATO.

…And so we have on one hand the fiery and bellicose rhetoric of the would-be belligerents of the Cold War of the twenty-first century and on the other hand the conciliatory or even cooperative pronouncements of the usual gaggle of super gophers, the “Superclass” identified by Henry Kissinger protégé David Rothkopf in his recent book of the same name, that identified about 6,000 global actors able to implement transnational policy agendas, thanks to their political and financial influence.

Are these two positions, which seem to go head-on and seem to be completely irreconcilable, in fact resolvable, if we look at this not as a two-dimensional surface-level conflict taking place between nation-states or groupings of nation-states on the geopolitical chess board, but in fact as a three-dimensional problem that involves hierarchies of control vying in different levels of this game for different squares. Not just squares on a chessboard but a 3D chess board, if we can extend the metaphor.

Well, in fact, that is exactly the position I would take. And as strange as that might seem, as difficult as it might be to wrap our heads around that type of conflict which is happening at one level—which is actually cooperation at another level—it should be noted that this is not the first time in history that we’ve noticed this type of phenomenon. And in fact even within the past century we’ve noticed very, very similar analogous—one would almost say template or prototypical—examples of this very phenomenon, as identified by a researcher whom I have name-checked a number of times on this podcast in the past, so I certainly hope my regular listeners will be familiar with his work already.

I am referring of course to Antony C. Sutton, the author of such trade books as Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler, Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, Wall Street and FDR, but also the author of many scholarly publications, academic publications that were published under the auspices of the Hoover Institution in the 1970s and that have been well-regarded scholarly works that were even name-checked by the likes of Zbigniew Brzezinski as being convincing proof of the thesis that these books were forwarding. And that thesis revolved around the idea that, in the case of, for example, the Bolshevik Revolution or the rise of the Nazis, that it was the Western powers—specifically the financial center of Wall Street and the Wall Street bankers—who were helping to fund their supposed arch-enemies, the socialists of various stripes, whether that be the Bolsheviks or the National Socialists in Germany, for their own agenda purposes…

There is much much more which is why Colonel Towner has read over 100 books just on the subject of ‘Operation Gladio.’ [She and others use it as a generic term. Operation Condor and Operation Northwoods are specific examples] she discusses those books, I think on X-spaces . Today we conclude the Pennsylvania signers as well as third part of the B. Franklin, Printer and George Whitefield relationship that charted a path that had a lasting effect on America.

Out of all of the sources the more enlightening on this subject has been the book, The Faith and Vision of Benjamin Franklin by Eddie L. Hyatt. I downloaded an inexpensive digital copy from Amazon to reference. The book is concisely written with many well known, legitimate sources. Below there is also a list of some of the less mainline sources other than Wiki, Descendants, historical societies, etc.; that provided bits of interesting information to add to this.

1739 Revival in London

B’s Vision For The People

Besides sponsoring regular events at Penn for Whitefield to use the facilities and facilitating other venues for appearances, B had a vision of what life should be like in the colonies.

It all started formulating in his mind due to the following. From B’s autobiography;

“In 1739 there arrived among us from Ireland the Reverend Mr. Whitfield who made himself remarkable there as an itinerant preacher. He was at first permitted to preach in some of our churches, but the clergy, taking a dislike to him, soon refused him their pulpits, and he was obliged to preach in the fields. The multitudes of all sects and denominations that attended his sermons were enormous, and it was a matter of speculation to me, who was one of the number, to observe the extraordinary influence of his oratory on his hearers. It was wonderful to see the change soon made in the manners of our inhabitants. From being thoughtless or indifferent about religion, it seemed as if all the world were growing religious so that one could not walk through the town in an evening without hearing psalms sung in different families of every street.”

The quote below is from Eddie Hyatt out of his book: The Faith & Vision of Benjamin Franklin: How the Skeptical Printer of Philadelphia Returned to His Puritan Roots & the Puritan Vision of a Christian America. Kindle Edition;

Whitefield emphasized that church membership, good works, family pedigree, and position in life were of no value in making one acceptable to God. He pointed out that these were “faulty foundations” upon which many had put their trust. What was necessary, Whitefield preached, was a new birth through faith in Jesus Christ. Although accounts of his meetings often describe the multitudes as standing and listening in rapt silence, accounts also reveal intense emotional responses experienced at times to his preaching, as well as spiritual manifestations, such as weeping, falling and crying aloud to God. On one occasion, after preaching to a huge throng gathered outdoors, Whitfield surveyed the crowd and noted the amazing response.

That statement echoes the words of Jesus Christ in various scriptures. However, just as it did with the Pharisees and Sadducees in the times of Christ, the religious authorities became angry and rejected attempts for Whitefield to preach in “their” churches. That did not deter him as the great outdoors awaited. More from Hyatt’s book;

On one occasion, after preaching to a huge throng gathered outdoors, Whitefield surveyed the crowd and noted the amazing response.

“Look where I would, most were drowned in tears. Some were struck pale as death, others wringing their hands, others lying on the ground, others sinking into the arms of their friends and most lifting up their eyes to heaven and crying out to God.“

That right there would be what we hillbillies call sending the Holy Ghost on down…

B was eight years older than Whitefield, but they hit it off as good buddies. George would stay at B’s home when visiting Philadelphia over the next 31 years until George died. He counted on B to assist him with printing his sermons and devotionals along with business matters. He asked advice about the orphanage he wanted to build in Georgia. B would not hear of it, he wanted it built in Philadelphia. Whitefield would not relent and kept preaching to raise money for the purpose. So B said he would not get any money from him.

B told the story that one night his curiosity got the better of him and he slipped in the back of an outdoor event and heard George’s pitch for donations for the planned orphanage. He said he resolved to give him nothing. As Whitefield preached on he wilted under the pressure. Per Hyatt’s book B stated;

“I had in my pocket a handful of copper money, three or four silver dollars, and five pistoles in gold. As he proceeded I began to soften, and concluded to give the copper. Another stroke of his oratory made me ashamed of that, and determined me to give the silver; and he finished so admirably that I emptied my pocket wholly into the collector’s dish, gold and all.”

Ohio Vision

B had a vision for what life in America could be that included Christianity at its core. He proposed to Whitefield that they partner to establish a new colony in Ohio that would adhere to Christian values and be an example for all of the colonies by honoring God throughout its culture. From his letter to Whitefield,

“I imagine we could do it effectually and without putting the nation at too much expense. What a glorious thing it would be, to settle in that fine country a large strong body of religious and industrious people! What a security to the other colonies; and advantage to Britain, by increasing her people, territory, strength and commerce. Might it not greatly facilitate the introduction of pure religion among the heathen, if we could, by such a colony, show them a better sample of Christians than they commonly see in our Indian traders, the most vicious and abandoned wretches of our nation?“

Whitefield had obviously moved B back to his Puritan roots, which would mirror what most of the early settlers in the colonies would have desired. Franklin demonstrated repeatedly that he saw no conflict between faith and public affairs, in fact he stated throughout his life that he viewed it important and preferable for them to operate hand in glove. With the proposed venture with Whitefield, B wanted to finish his life on this final high note, that it would bring him pleasure and he felt certain God would bless it.

It did not happen as desired by B due to distances and complications in the lives of both men before Whitefield passed away in 1770. It also seems God had bigger plans for B over the ensuing two plus decades after George’s death. It was a period when the lessons learned and the inspiration gained from his friendship with Whitefield built a base of understanding to reference that moved him to do extraordinary things on behalf of God and our nation that changed world history forever.

So maybe B’s vision did happen; just on a much grander, God determined scale that began in His timing.

Let’s move on to our last Pennsylvania signer.

John Morton

John Morton was born in 1724 or 1725 in Ridley County, PA of John Sr. and wife Mary (Archer). Both sides of his family originated from the Sweden/Finland area. His father died the year he was born. His mother later married John Sketchley, who was a strong influence on young John’s life as a child. He educated and raised him to be intelligent and moral as he was very involved in the Episcopal church. As an adult he oversaw books and maps as well as surveyed. He married Ann Justis of Chester County and through the years they had three sons and five daughters.

In 1756 Morton was elected as a representative of the Pennsylvania Assembly. After the local sheriff died a decade later, he served in the role for a couple of years before being reelected as a representative. Through the years there he served as a justice of the peace, sheriff, judge in several courts, and associate justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He was well noted for his common sense in all of his roles.

He was voted to represent the state in the First and Second Continental Congresses. It was his final vote that decided in favor of independence for Pennsylvania and he proudly signed the Declaration. He remained active in the Congress in 1776 and 1777 and later worked with an assigned committee on the formation of the Articles of Confederation. Throughout all of it he remained faithful in attendance and with his actions as a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where he is buried. He passed away after falling ill on his farm in April of 1777. Several months later his widow, Ann, fled the area after the British won the Battle of Brandywine. In her haste to reach safety in New Jersey, many of Morgan’s important papers, documents and artifacts were left behind. The British burned them all and destroyed their home, so records were lost that could have added to his story.

John Morton was the first signer of the Declaration of Independence to pass away. His contributions to the independence movement are noteworthy as his vote in support decided the position of one the most influential states in the future republic. He worked tirelessly to bring about organization, common sense, and fairness to the process of governance. He will always be noted for promoting the theme of natural law into our founding documents. We give thanks today for this great American patriot.
