DEAR MAGA: Open Thread 20220120

Saw this earlier. Any comments on the prepping aspect of a “to go” bag for the car?

Okay, what else do I have….

Hey, it’s Thursday. All the good stuff was posted Tuesday and Wednesday.

Okay, I admit it. Back in the day, I had larger than life posters of these guys on my wall.

1 SAMUEL 18:6-9; 19:1-7

186As they were coming home, when David returned from slaying the Philistine, the women came out of all the cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet King Saul, with timbrels, with songs of joy, and with instruments of music. 7And the women sang to one another as they made merry, “Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.” 8And Saul was very angry, and this saying displeased him; he said, “They have ascribed to David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed thousands; and what more can he have but the kingdom?” 9And Saul eyed David from that day on. 191And Saul spoke to Jonathan his son and to all his servants, that they should kill David. But Jonathan, Saul’s son, delighted much in David. 2And Jonathan told David, “Saul my father seeks to kill you; therefore take heed to yourself in the morning, stay in a secret place and hide yourself; 3and I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where you are, and I will speak to my father about you; and if I learn anything I will tell you.” 4And Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul his father, and said to him, “Let not the king sin against his servant David; because he has not sinned against you, and because his deeds have been of good service to you; 5for he took his life in his hand and he slew the Philistine, and the LORD wrought a great victory for all Israel. You saw it, and rejoiced; why then will you sin against innocent blood by killing David without cause?” 6And Saul hearkened to the voice of Jonathan; Saul swore, “As the LORD lives, he shall not be put to death.” 7And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan showed him all these things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence as before.

Regarding “Go Bags”, you have to assess which types of emergency you are likely to be facing. Your Go-Bag for widespread social unrest is likely to be quite different from your Go-Bag for wildfires, or your Go-Bag for earthquake.

pgroup2

The last two are virtually certain to morph into the first.

Just remember – it all slides downhill.

cthulhu

They haven’t for the last 30+ years…..but each new year can bring forth the new and unforeseen….

cthulhu

The second thing about “Go Bags” is who is going? Remember wife, kids, pets, and other kin within the area. Hopefully, some bring their own resources, but you may have a “Go Convoy”.

Gail Combs

Actually the FIRST THING is WHERE ARE YOU GOING?

You really need a destination where you are certain of welcome. You can then work out with that destination possible supply issues even going as far as buying them a shed to store can goods et al.

kalbokalbs

Absolutely, GO WHERE?

Which is why if at all reasonable, we’ll stay.

Also, is the departure for a few days, OR, Not (Likely) Coming Back?

Gail Combs

I mention that for those living in cities. I ALWAYS had a place in the country I could ‘bug-out’ to and be welcome.

Helping build fences, paint barns, muckout stalls, feed, hold mares for breeding… And being an extra pair of hands as needed – guarantees a warm welcome.

scott467

15 miles, on foot?

That’s at least 5 hours of continuous walking, and even if you were accustomed to walking 10 miles a day, an extra 5 would be a considerable strain.

I wouldn’t have tried to walk 15 miles even when I was a teenager, and I was in great shape! 😁

BB

As I recall DP says she walks nearly daily either outside or on a treadmill. When I trained to walk the Hawaii Marathon (26.2 mi) the longest walk we did was 20 miles and we only did it once. Other training walks were less. I am by no means a race walker either. It was my only marathon but I completed it in a little over 9 hours when I was 45 years old and obese!

kalbokalbs

Singapore marathon when 39. Jogged first eighteen miles. Last 8.2 jog /walk. 5 hours 45 minutes. Glad I did it. Never again.

Gail Combs

I actually did 28 miles at a jog at 6,000 feet.– a trail in the Tetons. Wish I could do the same now. I used to walk @ 4 minute mile pace but 3 minute mile is the more usual for a fast walk for most people.

When doing a trail in the German mountains, my Ex, the Army guys who were with us and I left the poor German tour-guide in the dust. 😋

Oh did I mention, my first horse was a race horse and would drag me if I didn’t keep up with his walk? He was a major incentive in developing that 4 mile an hour walk!

Valerie Curren

Umm  I used to walk @ 4 minute mile pace but 3 minute mile

vs

He was a major incentive in developing that 4 mile an hour walk!

scott467

You ladies are crazy fast!

I searched 3-minute mile and this is what came up:

……………..
Roger Bannister – English runner who in 1954 became the first person to run a mile in less than four minutes (born in 1929).
……………..

Valerie Curren

LOL NOT me!!!

scott467

“I used to walk @ 4 minute mile pace but 3 minute mile is the more usual for a fast walk for most people.”

____________

A three minute mile seems crazy fast… even a 4-minute mile!

.

“Oh did I mention, my first horse was a race horse and would drag me if I didn’t keep up with his walk?”

____________

I would have ridden the horse… 👍 😁

Gail Combs

NO YOU WOULDN’T!!! 🙃

First off when I bought him, under saddle he had one gait, full on GALLOP.

Second he HATED MEN so you could not get near him.

Oh I forgot to mention he tossed me the first 200 days I rode him. I quit counting when I reached 200 it was just too depressing to continue keeping count.

And yeah I did finally learn how to stay on him and after five years had him trained well enough to take second at a three day event (Olympic trials)

cthulhu

Where you can go often depends on what is wrong with where you are. As an example, you are probably safe from the effects of an earthquake in the San Francisco area if you can just make it to Sacramento (100 miles).

GA/FL

OR….for being chased by Øbastard’s FBI….

Chris

The info in both videos is Excellent. Highly recommended viewing for all. Very good tips.

Since you asked ..’for the car’ ..
the smaller single ‘sling bag’ would be my personal choice. It becomes an accessory to the smaller’ daybag’ everyone should have with them all the time.
Once loaded with expected carrying weight, adjust the strap so it rides comfortably and still quick easy access. probably just off the hip.
The beauty in this design, you can reposition the weight- shoulders/neck back/side-side ,to distribute the weight/share the load quicky and easily.
When you need to run, simply reposition the bag for balance..allowing you to move fast with your bag in your hands,so it won’t get stripped from you.. like a linebacker running the football.
Very popular way to carry an AR btw, Kyle wore a version .. 😉

kalbokalbs

Yup, “Go Bag” concept is tailored

CASH a “must have” in just about EVERY scenario.

Glock with loaded magazines.

  • IWB and or OC holster.
  • Loaded magazine holsters.
  • To be legal in CA. Unloaded Glock, loaded “10 round” magazines IN a locked box. (Unless both a CA resident AND have CA CCW.)

Crossing the desert, Sierra’s, or long drives. Minimum dozen bottles of water and snacks. Change of clothes, boots, blanket(s), pillow(s), extra coat(s), basic first aid, some common hand tools, small sturdy shovel… Long drives, water is minimum 40 bottle case.

SHTF.

  • We have quality back packs. Larger than school / work and smaller than back packer size. Can carry a lot of crap.
  • Have three “emergency only” totes with the types of stuff highlighted in the videos DP provided above.
  • My thought is, when the situation appears more likely, I’ll load DW and my back pack, cherry picking from my “emergency only” supplies.
  • My son keeps his and his two 14yo sons back packs, “ready”.
  • IF back packs are loaded, SHTF totes consolidated.
  • Extra totes and coolers readied for travel.

Walking is a last resort. If possible convoy out. Likely load the ATV (4 person) on the trailer and drag it with us. Stash more stuff on the trailer, including fuel.

Have identified several “less travel routes heading east, north and south. ZERO chance this fool will head west.

Checked Amazon for the Sawyer mini filters. Predominant high star rating. Several one star worth taking a look at. I took a pass on the Sawyer.

I do have Life Straw and Family Straw. As well as water purification tablets.

IF a US trucker strike is called for. The Ram and Jeep will be topped off and NOT used. We’ll very sparingly use vehicles with high MPG. Latter tanks kept at 3/4+, as long as fuel is available. We have decent bicycles.

Hmmm. That turned into a ramble of sorts.

Thanks for Everything, Babylon Bee

cthulhu

Regarding the FDA, any institution that allows acetaminophen OTC while making ivermectin and HCQ, metformin, and blood pressure pills Rx only does not have public health in mind.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yeah, I hear you. IMO there needs to be a new category between OTC and prescription, called “after pharmacist consultation” which is “shall provide after consultation and warnings”.

Linda

Amen! There are a whole lot of drugs that could safely be put in that category.

cthulhu

Why have a new slot between “freedom” and “control”? — if you’ve done enough research that you don’t need a pharmacist, you should feel free to poison yourself.

I would favor that any free man can order any substance from any regulated source — and the regulation would guarantee that the substance was as advertised.

Gail Combs

EXACTLY!

If you are old enough to go to war, old enough to drink, then you should be old enough to make your own medical decisions.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Why? To make it actually happen. And soon. And to make it happen for HCQ and other drugs with super safety in dosage but very thin therapeutic margins, downgrading from prescription, while doing something realistic about your beloved acetaminophen (same problem), which will never go prescription.

Ivermectin? OTC now!

Sure, the purist answer is make it all free to grab, but I’m on the Trump “optimal now” train.

kalbokalbs

IF I have learned nothing else this past two years, I Do NOT Trust the medical establishment.

Their nearly cart blanche control my meds and healthcare is no longer acceptable.

Sure, I’ll seek their advice, for me to assess, accept, modify or dismiss IS my Right.

The final decision is mine alone.

Live free and in accordance with God’s will or die. It’s the only way a person can actually live outside of evil’s control. Take responsibility for one’s self as well as the related results.

The Question:
Jeremiah 17:9 – The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? (NIV)

The Answer:
Jeremiah 17:10 – I, the Lord, search the heart; I examine the mind to reward a man according to his way, by what his deeds deserve. (NIV)

If you allow others with evil intent to influence and take control of your personal decisions when you have the authority to make your own decisions and act on them, do you think the Lord will reward you for being obedient to Him?

Nope.

Combined part of the “Scarborough Faire”, part of the cheese biscuits, and extra granulated garlic.

1/3c BQ
1 heaping tsp NDM

1/2 tsp ground rosemary
1/2 tsp granulated garlic
Bunch of cheese

Water to appropriate dough
Made into two biscuits per notes on cheese biscuits.

Getting better at this….(I originally did something similar about 30 years ago).

My neighbor, Art, passed away a few days ago. 92 years old. Used to take his min-pin Zoey out for runs — he’d use his mobility scooter to take her out to the end of the block and race her home.

Just tonight, I found out he was boostered. Two days later, he called his son and said his skin was burning, next day his son discovered him dead.

I wasn’t all that close, but he was a neighborhood fixture — everyone knew him. He received a Catholic burial.

TheseTruths

That’s sad. I’m so sorry.

Linda

Wow, Coothie, that really sucks! Unfortunately, I think we’re going to be in for a lot of that this year.

cthulhu

Yup.

I thought it was bad enough….but, y’know, over 90….

But, then, to find out it was a booster…..

singingsoul1

At that age why have a booster? At his age he needet somone who protected him from his doctor? Wonder who told him to go for the jab?
I am sorry he went to early and I pray he went in peace without suffering.
The sad thing is he leave a void from the normal the every day driving along the street.
He was noticed wonder if he ever knew how much of a fixture he was?
I am sorry for his loss to family and friends and neighbors.

awful. probably had decent time left too.

cthulhu

He had his issues, but he had at least another year left.

cthulhu

How are you doing, yourself?

gil00

Well, i made mr gil get gas x bc of the severe pain from them putting so much air in. It has helped, so now im getting down to the “real” pain. Still bloated with some pain, esp positional. Cant sit totally upright esp on a firm seat. One wierd thing bothering me is my uvula must’ve been scraped bc its flapping around like loose tissue. Even causing some coughing and slight obstruction. I hope that stops in a day or 2. Mr gil here for 3 more days then i have to do more on my own again. Im sticking to light housekeeping. Going to nap, do crossword puzzles, and watch youtube movies.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Glad to hear you’re moving around. Great tip on the GasX!

OMG, you have been through so much already this winter! And yet you sound pretty strong right now.

Will keep praying! 🙏

gil00

Ty. Yeah im hoping by st patricks day a lot of school will be completed and my health will be much improved so we can have a nice vacation if possible for spring break.

Sadie Slays

I’m sorry for your loss.

cthulhu

It’s not really my loss personally as much as it is the neighborhood’s loss.

That said, I should have talked with him more often than I did.

And it burns my ass that the happy gericidal maniacs managed to booster him out of his final years of life and have him die in pain.

Aubergine

Mine, too.

Gail Combs

AND EVEN WORSE have the GALL to CLAIM it was for HIS Benefit!

RDS

I’m so sorry to hear of this. Yet another life taken by the “vaccines” and the “booster shots.”
And the “booster shot” this man took will NEVER be held responsible for his death, since his age was a “co-morbidity”, since he had a couple health issues, since his mobility was impaired. What the “booster shot” did was to push enough SPIKE PROTEIN POISON into his body that his immune system, ALREADY WEAKENED BY HIS PREVIOUS “VACCINATION”, couldn’t fight it off.
Remember that BOTH Pfizer-BioNTech AND Moderna boasted last year that their “booster shots” would have MUCH MORE of the SPIKE PROTEIN in them compared to their companies’ “vaccines”? And that this LARGE INCREASE in the “booster shots'” SPIKE PROTEIN would cause the body to produce MUCH MORE ANTIBODY LOAD?

I’m very sorry. That just sucks.

Good news! (See videos and speeches at the link.)

Citizen Free Press: IT’S FINALLY OVER… DEMOCRATS LOSE VOTES ON FILIBUSTER AND VOTING FRAUD…

The US Senate on Wednesday voted 49-51 to block the Democrat bill to legalize voter fraud from moving to a final passage vote. The Senate also voted 48-52 against changing the filibuster rule to pass the voting fraud bill with a simple majority as Democrat Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema voted against the move.

Manchin delivers the knockout blow — “My Democrat colleagues have taken to the Senate floor, cable news airwaves to argue that repealing the filibuster is restoring the vision the founding fathers intended for this deliberate body. My friends, that is simply not true.”

I am very thankful that Manchin and Sinema stood on principle. It could have been a 50-50 tie with Kamala acting as tie-breaker.

Wait — I might be mistaken about that. Did both of these votes require 60 votes to pass? At any rate, it’s a defeat for Dem treachery. Now they will focus on PDJT’s Jan. 6 documents, and who knows what other schemes they will try.

cthulhu

The PDJT Jan 6 documents may be the biggest briar patch anyone ever got thrown into. There are a whole lot more shady ex-presidents than there is one VSGPOTUSDJT……and I’d bet he has the least to hide.

Speaking of which, the NY AG Letitia James is jumping up and down about properties having different valuations…..and she is about to learn accounting the hard way. When I started in public accounting in 1983, it was the dawn of microcomputer accounting systems (IBMPC, IBM-AT), and we had clients who would continue with their manual accounting systems but buy computers to keep track of their various mandatory valuations for fixed assets. Every freakin’ jurisdiction, every insurance policy, every lease, every loan wanted their own number — sometimes based on other numbers, sometimes just pulled from the aether — and they all needed to be rounded-up and reconciled and periodically processed.

And James is out there saying, “he reported a different number for a financing agreement than he did for a tax return — it’s a smoking gun!!!!!” To quote the famous cottontail philosopher, “what a maroon!”

Barb Meier

Do you remember Peachtree Software? Perhaps even Client Ledger System (CLS)?

cthulhu

I remember Peachtree. Like so many others, it got vacuumed up into Sage (UK). I don’t recall CLS offhand, but might if I saw their logo.

cthulhu

You’ve got me trying to remember the name of the Fixed Asset software that everyone loved so much before integrated software. “Best Assets”, maybe? It’s only been almost 40 years….

cthulhu

I think that was their name…..and it’s impossible to search on today, because the search engines focus on “best asset management 2022”.

Barb Meier

I hear you, cthulhu. Perhaps search “popular asset management software 1983”?

Barb Meier

Yes, it has been a very long time. I have no idea if the TCS Fixed Assets app was popular as you describe or if that was an entirely different app. TCS was founded by Billy Ladin. He had started ComputerCraft, which was the first Apple retailer. Billy was friends with Steve Jobs and they would go skiing together in Aspen. He was on the Apple board for many years. I remember once Steve made fortune cookies for Billy and his wife Robin. This was all in the good days of micros when one did not need a degree to be a great programmer.

Cuppa Covfefe

Half-Assets? 😀

(Now I’ll have to go look in my old “Computer Shopper” catalogs from wayyyyy back in the day)….

Barb Meier

TCS was the company name. Any logo was just the initials when I worked there (1982-1983). CLS (Client Ledger System) was designed by a programmer who was also a CPA. Sorry, I don’t remember his name. We were in Houston TX and TCS was formed by bringing PeachTree Software’s owners, Rich and Barb Stafford, from Atlanta GA. TCS had a database that the Houston company had put the Peachtree software on top of. While I was there, they had a whole line of accounting software. GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, MRP. Thanks for the Sage info!

cthulhu

Remember Solomon III from TLB?

Barb Meier

No, I did not run across that product or company. In 1986 Microsoft move my BF and me to Redmond and the BF was a programmer on Excel for awhile. He later shifted to designing accelerator boards for a little silicon valley startup.I think his database might have even been written in assembly lang and the code for the boards was low-level. He liked that sort of tech.

Cuppa Covfefe

Reminds me of this story… NYC is as corrupt as the Klintoons… the story is an eye-opening and appalling read…
(from the NYT [yeah, I know, stopped clock and blind squirrel though] https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/28/nyregion/new-york-subway-construction-costs.html)

The Most Expensive Mile of Subway Track on Earth

How excessive staffing, little competition, generous contracts and archaic rules dramatically inflate capital costs for transit in New York.

An accountant discovered the discrepancy while reviewing the budget for new train platforms under Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan.

The budget showed that 900 workers were being paid to dig caverns for the platforms as part of a 3.5-mile tunnel connecting the historic station to the Long Island Rail Road. But the accountant could only identify about 700 jobs that needed to be done, according to three project supervisors. Officials could not find any reason for the other 200 people to be there.

“Nobody knew what those people were doing, if they were doing anything,” said Michael Horodniceanu, who was then the head of construction at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which runs transit in New York. The workers were laid off, Mr. Horodniceanu said, but no one figured out how long they had been employed.

“All we knew is they were each being paid about $1,000 every day.”

The discovery, which occurred in 2010 and was not disclosed to the public, illustrates one of the main issues that has helped lead to the increasing delays now tormenting millions of subway riders every day: The leaders entrusted to expand New York’s regional transit network have paid the highest construction costs in the world, spending billions of dollars that could have been used to fix existing subway tunnels, tracks, trains and signals.

The estimated cost of the Long Island Rail Road project, known as “East Side Access,” has ballooned to $12 billion, or nearly $3.5 billion for each new mile of track — seven times the average elsewhere in the world. The recently completed Second Avenue subway on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and the 2015 extension of the No. 7 line to Hudson Yards also cost far above average, at $2.5 billion and $1.5 billion per mile, respectively.

The spending has taken place even as the M.T.A. has cut back on core subway maintenance because, as The New York Times has documented, generations of politicians have diverted money from the transit authority and saddled it with debt.

The bill required 60 votes unless filibusters got shafted. It got 49-51 after Schumer changed his vote to “no”. [He did this because the arcane rules of the Senate only allow a Senator to call for a bill to receive additional debate if that Senator had previously voted against it. This is what passes for normal in Senate-land.]

Filibusters can be shafted by a 51-50 vote — but that failed, as well. There are less than 11 months before the midterm election.

Have a way to stay warm. They sell small packs of emergency mylar blankets for under $10 that can easily fit in a backpack without taking up too much space. Those HotHands hand warmers are faily cheap, too, and can be easily tucked into a backpack. They can be used to keep pets warm in an emergency, too.

sadie, true! I kept a very large Iguana functional during a 3-day power outage, with only those HotHands under towels to protect her skin.
While running around, she would lose her charge, and I would just set her back on the towels. v nifty.

Nice! My husband recently his old boy scout brass backpacking stove. Good times!

Gail Combs

I added plate, cup and utensils without taking up room. A fuel bottle, sleeping bag, wool clothes and food stayed in my car all winter long when I lived in up-state NY along with a 50 lb bag of sand.

That bag of sand got the entire factory out of the parking lot after a semi got stuck in the snow blocking the entire driveway. 😆

Valerie Curren

Sand or kitty litter AND a good shovel! & perhaps a tow rope 🙂

Gail Combs

Tow CHAIN and jumper cables. (a GOOD set… plus knowledge of how to use them. Other wise the battery can explode as it did to Mom & a friend in our driveway.)

rayzorback

I always carry a Chain, Battery Jump Box, Tire inflator and tire plugs/tools

kalbokalbs

Tire plug tools.

^^^ That’s a nugget I need to look into.

rayzorback

You never know when you might need to fix a flat tire. Harbor Freight has the entire kit for $6.00 https://www.harborfreight.com/tubeless-tire-repair-kit-9-pc-62611.html

kalbokalbs

Appreciate the link.

Past couple years I’ve had two flats. Neither time crappy tires. Crappy luck.

One, a bolt on a remote highway. Spare got me back to town. If I could have plugged it, life would have been simpler.

Thanks again.

rayzorback

You’re welcome friend 🙂

kalbokalbs

cthulhu

Of course, being HF, it’ll likely only work once…..

Gail Combs

AND it was made in Chyna….

rayzorback

lol… true for “disposable” things like drill bits, but Harbor Freight has some really good stuff that lasts for a long time if not forever. (Trailer Hitches, Spare tire mounts, etc.)
Notice… “disposable” items i.e. Drill bits, sand paper, saw blades, etc.

cthulhu

The Sieg stuff is reasonably good and quite cost-effective. That’s the mills and lathes that are the red versions of Grizzly’s green ones.

Valerie Curren

Yikes. Hope they were OK!

Gail Combs

They were but the hoods of the cars were not. They developed rust spots all over.

Valerie Curren

That’s a serious live & learn lesson 😉

Cuppa Covfefe

Yep. Diesels require MUCH larger cables (harder to turn over); also, none of that copper-clad aluminum cr@p. Plus the bigger the cable, the less the voltage drop and more amps making it to the disabled vehicle.

Positive, positive, negative (donor) to frame (receiver). Putting the negative clamp on the battery of the receiver’s battery is asking for trouble, in a big way… talk about BOOM cars (OK, dating myself there, 60s/70s car stereohead…)….

We had a guy next door to us who was a high-wire guy for PG&E (electric company). One day, he needed a jump, and came over with a couple of lengths of wire which were bigger around than my thumbs. Fortunately he had clamps to go with them. (And fortunate he didn’t have to lug those cables with him 🙂 )…..

There’s a reservoir over by Hillsborough and Belmont just off of 280 with some high wires (OK VERY high) going across it… he did those, way back when…)….
(don’t know how, probably a helicopter was involved).

Sounds like what we have. One of a kind cables made by a friend. And yeah those mothers WEIGH a ton! But they do work a treat. We also have a couple sets of the crappy cables. BLECH!

Cuppa Covfefe

With the little cables, the only positive (sorry) thing might be that you can get a little warmth out of them while they’re melting (or burning) 😀 🔥

It’s just bad comedy.

AG Brnovich to Soros whore: You dirty scoundrel you, why, I oughta… if you break just one more law… if it’s a serious one… I won’t hesitate to begin contemplating the process of starting to think about resorting to sending an official letter of displeasure, and that could cause real trouble for you, young lady!

Don’t think I won’t think about… thinking about doing it!

Cuppa Covfefe

Makes me think of this; a great performance from Sally Ann Howes (RIP) and Dick van Dyke:

Come to think of it, this may be a musical (and choreographic) tip of the hat to the Offenbach piece…

Last edited 1 year ago by Cuppa Covfefe
Cuppa Covfefe

Yep, edited it after I listened to both. Also saw that it was in one take, which is astounding. The “Truly Scrumptious” piece is a bit similar to the Offenbach (melodic profile) although it had to fit with the counter-melody sung by Dick van Dyke, which was also quite clever and cleverly done…

(have to wonder if Sally Ann Howes had just gotten the jab, although she was in Florida, and was 91… still…)….

Cuppa Covfefe

The comments on that video are interesting, including one about how the music box disappears while Dick van Dyke is dancing, and then reappears when he does the duet with Sally Ann Howes… one of many things cleverly done in that…

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.

AMEN.

Latest CDC narrative….vaccination AND natural immunity provide the best protection. Just more cover for the leaky vaxxes.

The highest case rates were among those who had neither been vaccinated or previously infected. The most protection against infection and hospitalization was in those who had both been vaccinated and survived an earlier bout with the virus.

I mentioned China and CRISPR babies. China Quietly Confirms a Third CRISPR-Edited Baby Has Been Born

I missed that they are using the technique on our food supply. This is a great article, but it does not address the OTHER problem. PATENTED FOOD SUPPLY! Organic Farmers have been SUED by Monsanto because Pinkerton agents TRESPASSED and found ‘Monsanto GMO genes’ in what was supposed to be organic corn. INSTEAD of the GMO corn pollen CONTAMINATING the organic farmers corn being considered ‘criminal trespass’ the Supreme Court ruled the Organic Farmers ‘STOLE’ the patented genes. <== ANOTHER stab in the back by the SCOTUS per usual!

Do You Like Your Chicken Extra ‘CRISPR’?

“It seems gene editing is going to eliminate all disease,” said HBO’s John Oliver, “Or kill every last one of us.”1 He’s referring to gene-editing tools such as CRISPR, or Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeat, and TALEN (Transcription Activator-Like Effector Nuclease), which are being used for everything from disease treatment to agriculture.

Unbeknownst to many, CRISPR technology has already been used to tinker with crops, including both plants and animal farming. In addition to altering the taste of foods, CRISPR is being used to extend shelf life and create foods that resist certain bacteria and viruses.2

Even chicken — a staple food in diets around the world — has been eyed for gene editing due to avian leucosis virus, and a “CRISPR” chicken may be coming to your dinner plate soon….

Flu- and ALV-resistant chickens are just two examples of gene-editing technology at work. Researchers have also snipped out a section of pig DNA intended to prevent porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) — a common and often fatal ailment among CAFO pigs.17

𝕊𝕦𝕔𝕙 𝕖𝕕𝕚𝕥𝕤 𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕞𝕒𝕟𝕖𝕟𝕥 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕡𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕖𝕕 𝕕𝕠𝕨𝕟 𝕥𝕠 𝕠𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣 𝕘𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤.

In another project, this one funded by the USDA, researchers have added the SRY gene to cattle, which results in female cows that turn into males, complete with larger muscles, a penis and testicles, but no ability to make sperm.18 Male (or male-like) cattle are more valuable to the beef industry because they get bigger, faster, allowing companies to make greater profits in less time….

Gene-Edited Mushrooms and Lax Regulations

A number of gene-edited plant foods have also been developed or proposed, including non-browning mushrooms, which were created by Yinong Yang, a plant pathologist at Pennsylvania State University, in 2016 using CRISPR-Cas9. Although the “frankenfungi,” as it’s been called, has never before existed in nature, it would require no USDA approval because it does not contain foreign DNA.

“Our genome-edited mushroom has small deletions in a specific gene but contains no foreign DNA integration in its genome,” Yang said in Penn State’s Ag Science Magazine. “Therefore, we believed that there was no scientifically valid basis to conclude that the CRISPR-edited mushroom is a regulated article based on the definition described in the regulations.”22

Weeks after the USDA notified Yang that the gene-edited non-browning mushrooms would not require approval, it also ruled that DuPont Pioneer’s CRISPR-Cas9-edited corn would also be able to bypass regulatory approval.23

gene-edited soybean oil created by biotech company Calyxt was picked up by its first user — a Midwest company with both restaurant and foodservice locations, which is using it for frying as well as in dressings and sauces — in 2019.26 Calyxt’s soybean oil, Calyno,27 contains two inactivated genes, resulting in an oil with no trans fats, increased heart-healthy oleic acid and a longer shelf life.

As of February 2019, more than 100 farmers in the Midwest were reportedly growing Calyxt’s high-oleic soybeans on more than 34,000 acres.28 In an update released February 7, 2020, Calyxt stated it had contracted 100,000 soybean acres in the U.S. for 2020, which represented 178% growth from the year prior.29

It also received its first purchase order from a customer targeting four of its primary markets (foodservice, food ingredients, animal nutrition and industrial,) and is now offering 1-gallon jugs of its Calyno cooking oil directly to consumers.30

Calyxt has also developed a high-fiber wheat, which has been declared a non-regulated article and may launch as early as 2020 or 2021.31…..

Rockefeller Commission Report

The Report of The Commission on Population Growth and the American Future

One of the most serious challenges to human destiny in the last third of this century will be the growth of the population. Whether man’s response to that challenge will be a cause for pride or for despair in the year 2000 will depend very much on what we do today. If we now begin our work in an appropriate manner, and if we continue to devote a considerable amount of attention and energy to this problem, then mankind will be able to surmount this challenge as it has surmounted so many during the long march of civilization.

Richard Nixon

July 18, 1969

Do not forget that a former editor of New Scientist, a physicist who was a science reporter for the BBC at the time recently said in 2010:

Those who rewrite the history of climate science to suit the man-made global warming hypothesis hate to be reminded that global cooling and the threat of a new ice age rang alarm bells in the 1960s and 1970s. In the Orwellian manner they try to airbrush out the distinguished experts involved, and to say it was just a scare story dreamed up by stupid reporters like me.

No, we didn’t make it up. I was present in Rome in 1961 when global cooling was already the main concern at a conference of the World Meteorological Organization and Unesco (see the Unesco reference). The discussions were led by Hubert Lamb of the UK Met Office, who went on to found the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia.

A persistent concern of Lamb and others was that the world might return to a Little Ice Age like that of 300 years ago.</b> But the improving knowledge of glacial history, and especially the apparent brevity of warm interglacials, prompted anxiety about a full-blown ice age. George Kukla, together with Robert Matthews of Brown University, convened a conference in 1972 entitled “The Present Interglacial: How and When will it End?”, and reported it in Science magazine.

Kukla and Matthews alerted President Richard Nixon, and as a result the US Administration set up a Panel on the Present Interglacial involving the State Department and other agencies. None of us knew then that the mid-century cooling was about to be punctuated by a warming spell from the late 1970s to the mid 1990s….

Nigel Calder (sadly passed away)

http://calderup.wordpress.com/2010/05/14/next-ice-age&nbsp;

Kukla and Matthews’ alert to President Richard Nixon resulted in this CIA report of 1974:

A Study of Climatological Research as it Pertains to Intelligence Problems

Pg 7

In 1972 the Intelligence Community was faced with two issues concerning climatology:

 * No methodologies available to alert policymakers of adverse climatic change

 * No tools to assess the economic and political impact of such a change.

“… Since 1972 the grain crisis has intensified…. Since 1969 the storage of grain has decreased from 600 million metric tons to less than 100 million metric tons – a 30 day supply… many governments have gone to great lengths to hide their agricultural predicaments from other countries as well as from their own people…

pg 9

The archaeologists and climatotologists document a rather grim history… There is considerable evidence that these empires may not have been undone by barbarian invaders but by climatic change… has tied several of these declines to specific global cool periods, major and minor, that affected global atmospheric circulation and brought wave upon wave of drought to formerly rich agricultural lands.

Refugees from these collapsing civilizations were often able to migrate to better lands… This would be of little comfort however,… The world is too densely populated and politically divided to accommodate mass migration.

And what happened in the same time frame? Maurice Strong, a Rockefeller puppet, chaired the UN Earth Summit in 1972.

Elaine Dewar wrote in Toronto’s Saturday Night magazine:

It is instructive to read Strong’s 1972 Stockholm speech and compare it with the issues of Earth Summit 1992. Strong warned urgently about global warming, the devastation of forests, the loss of biodiversity, polluted oceans, the population time bomb. Then as now, he invited to the conference the brand-new environmental NGOs [non-governmental organizations]: he gave them money to come; they were invited to raise he!! at home.

After Stockholm, environment issues became part of the administrative framework in Canada, the U.S., Britain, and Europe.

http://www.afn.org/~govern/strong.html

Not that at the time (1972) it was COLD AS HECK!!! We had SNOW IN COLUMBIA SOUTH CAROLINA IN 1972!

However thanks to knowing the climate cycles, specifically the Gleissberg cycle of solar activity Mr Global KNEW temperature would increase for the next four decades!!!
