I think this DELIBERATE ATTACK to create a false flag blamed on Egypt is a KEY CLUE given the history of the Brits/Rothschilds in Egypt and their interest in the Suez canal

EGYPT: Initial Contacts with the British

Trade links had existed between the two countries for as long as anyone could remember. Egypt was a key part of the old spice and trade routes between Europe and Asia. British traders had been loading and unloading their cargoes in Ottoman waters for generations.

British military and political interest in Egypt first manifested itself as it became obvious that in the Eighteenth Century, India was falling under the influence of Britain (and away from France). Despite, the direct sail routes around the Cape of Good Hope, Egypt still provided the quickest way of maintaining communications between Britain and India. It required a brief overland journey, but it was still substantially quicker than circumnavigating Africa….

This site, by a UK teacher, has an excellent timeline dealing with the British Empire. These are the key dates dealing with the Suez Canal.

1798Napoleon arrives in Egypt to destroy British trade and influence in the area. He defeats a Mameluke army at the Battle of the Pyramids. But, the British destroy his fleet at Aboukir Bay.
1841The Turkish Government grants hereditary soveriegnty to Mohammed Ali and his heirs.
1848Mohammed Ali dies. Replaced by Abbas I
1854Said takes over. He is an enthusiastic moderniser and supports construction of the Suez Canal.
1858Alexandria to Suez Railway Opened
1869Suez Canal opened
1875Disraeli buys the Khedive’s 40% holding in the Suez Canal company. Britain is now the largest single shareholder.
1876Anglo-French control of Egyptian finances
1885Britain and France declare the Suez Canal neutral.
1904French confirm that British power is preeminent in Egypt. Upsurge in Anti-European feeling.
1914Britain orders all foreign vessels out of Suez canal. Also, declares Egypt a protectorate
1921Rioting in Cairo and Alexandria
1922Egypt declared independent, but with Britian retaining responsibility for maintenance of communications, defence, protection of European interests and the question of Sudan. Sultan Fuad becomes King Fuad I. Tutankhamen discovered.
1924Governor General of Sudan Assassinated in Cairo – Egyptians Ordered to Withdraw from Sudan and Pay Indemnity
1929Britain agrees to withdraw some troops from Egypt, but not from canal zone.
1953Britain and Egypt discuss future of Suez Canal. British families advised to leave Egypt.
1954Britain agrees to withdrawal of 65,000 servicemen. Nasser ousts Neguib.
1955Israelis raid Egyptian held Gaza strip. Britain and Egypt agree to independence of Sudan.
1956Nasser assumes full executive powers and nationalises Suez Canal Company. Expels British, French and Zionist residents. British, French and Israeli forces react. But, diplomatic problems force the withdrawal of the British and French armies. Israel keeps Gaza strip.

So given Nasser kicked the Brits out, what has been the plan?

If you go to my recent article: KMAG 20250515 OPEN TOPIC plus YEMEN,

you see the Israelis are militarizing islands in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden by grabbing territory from Yemen and kicking the natives out. This is why the Houthis are attacking.

Iran, Yemen launch missiles on Israel

Israeli media sources reported in the early minutes of Monday that a joint missile strike from Iran and Yemen is underway toward occupied territories.

Ben Gurion Canal Project: The Real Reason Behind the Israel-Palestine Conflict?

Since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas War on Oct. 7, rumors have circulated online about an alleged Israeli infrastructure project that would create an alternative to the Suez Canal, allowing Israel to control a waterway between the Mediterranean and the Red Sea.

The new canal, supposedly called the “Ben Gurion Canal” after Israeli founding father and first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion, would be a financial boost for Israel, but it would also have to run directly through the Gaza Strip.

Reason Behind a ‘Ben Gurion Canal’

The Suez Canal Authority had a record revenue of $9.4 billion in Egypt’s 2022 Fiscal Year, up from $7 billion the year before. Some 25,800 ships passed through the canal in FY 2022, up from 23,800 the previous year.

(RELATED: Panama Canal Crisis – How it Impacts the World Economy)

But the Suez and its profits were not always owned by the state of Egypt. In October 1956, a conflict between Israelis and Egyptians cascaded into what historians refer to as “the Suez Crisis,” when the British and French lost control over the Suez Canal after the Egyptian government nationalized it.

The Suez Canal was created by a French diplomat in 1869 and was jointly administered by a British-French imperial corporation. By the 1950s, Egypt had already been rebuffing Britain’s military presence at the canal, and was unhappy with the existence of Israel. But when Israeli troops pushed Egyptian forces toward the canal, as the U.S. backed out on a promise to fund a dam in the Nile River, Egypt seized control over the highly important trade route….

Previous Consideration of ‘Ben Gurion Canal’

It was revealed in a document from the 1960s (declassified in 1996) that the United States considered using 520 nuclear bombs to blow through the Israeli landmass in order to create an alternative to the Suez Canal similar to the alleged Ben Gurion Canal. It was produced by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, an institution funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.

The document, entitled “Use of Nuclear Explosives for Excavation of Sea-Level Canal Across the Negev Desert,” proposes creating a 160 mile long canal across Israel to as a “strategically valuable alternative” to the Suez that would “probably contribute greatly to the economic development of the surrounding area.” The author also suggests using the hypothetical canal to power a hydro-electric dam.

To create the passageway connecting the Mediterranean with the Gulf of Aqaba through the Negev desert, the paper notes, “it appears that nuclear explosives could be profitably applied to this situation.” It suggests a route that would “pass by Beersheba and the Gaza Strip,” specifically Gaza’s “coastal plain” which is described as “the least difficult to excavate” as it is “fairly close to seal level.”

After discussing the economic feasibility of the project, which it argues would only be a fraction of the ultimate pay off, the document brushes up against its “political feasibility,” recognizing “it is likely that the Arab countries surrounding Israel would object strongly to the construction of such a canal.”

Remarkable Online Poll Highlights 90 Percent of Respondents Do Not Want USA Involved in Israel War Against Iran

Guest Post by Sundance

President Trump supporter Charlie Kirk presented a poll question on his Twitter account asking, “Should the US get involved in Israel’s war against Iran?”  Almost a half million responses and the outcome is almost 90% saying no.

If you have been following my articles, I hope you can see the Rothschilds are very much behind the creation of Israel and I do not think it has anything to do with religion. I already covered Khazaria, the silk road & the Russians attacking

It is ALL ABOUT TRADE ROUTES AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN

I really love this:

To say that London is the world’s globalization headquarters is like saying the Mouse lives at Disney World. London has been the velvet-gloved epicenter of globalism ever since the East India Company shipped spices and opium on the same manifest. London’s financial class didn’t just benefit from globalization— they practically wrote the instruction manual. For them to start hand-wringing now about “mass immigration” and “no benefits from free trade” is a sign the ground is shaking beneath the WEF cathedral. Coffee & Covid

The U.S. provides Israel more than $63 million* in military aid per day,

And it gets worse from there. SEE:

U.S. Aid to Israel

The United States has granted more total aid to Israel since World War II than to any other country.

Cumulative US foreign assistance obligations between 1946 and 2022 to the top ten recipients. Inflation-adjusted to 2022 dollars. (source)

In addition to this direct aid to Israel:

  • Israel gets most of its aid money at the start of each year, rather than in quarterly installments like other countries.
  • This means that Israel starts earning interest on the money right away – interest paid by the US since Israel deposits these funds into an interest-bearing account at the New York Federal Reserve Bank.
  • Because the US government operates at a deficit, it must borrow money in order to give it to Israel and then pay interest on it all year.
  • Together these have at times cost US taxpayers more than $100 million every year.

Like many government policies, this disbursement of U.S. tax money is not because it serves American interests, but instead is the result of special interest lobbying.

Another Unique Exception

Contrary to ordinary U.S. policy, Israel has been and continues to be allowed to use approximately a quarter of U.S. military aid to purchase equipment from Israeli manufacturers. According to CRS, “no other recipient of U.S. military assistance has been granted this benefit.” (In some years this percentage has increased to as high as 38.7%.)

The MOU requires this Off-Shore Procurement (OSP) to phase out over time, ending entirely in FY2028. However, according to the CRS report, Israeli defense contractors are responding to the planned phase-out by merging with U.S. companies or opening U.S. subsidiaries to continue their elegibility for defense contracts financed through FMF.

Thanks in part to this indirect U.S. subsidy, Israel’s arms industry has become one of the strongest in the world, and competes with US companies. Between 2001 and 2008, Israel was the 7th largest arms supplier to the world, selling $9.9 billion worth of equipment. And it continues to grow stronger. In 2021, Israel sold $11.3 billion in military goods to other countries…

Rep. Thomas Massie tells Tucker Carlson every GOP member of Congress has an ‘AIPAC babysitter’

Congressman Thomas Massie reveals to Tucker Carlson that his Republican colleagues have an “AIPAC babysitter” to ensure they vote in the interests of Israel at all times.

It’s the only country that does this,” Massie adds.

“Everybody but me has an AIPAC person — like your AIPAC babysitter, who is always talking to you for AIPAC,” Massie said. “They’re probably a constituent from your district but they’re firmly embedded in AIPAC.”

“Every member has something like this?” Tucker Carlson asked.

“Every Repub–, I don’t know how it works on the Democrat side, but that’s how it works on the Republican side, and when you come to DC you go have lunch with them and they’ve got your cell number and you have conversations with them.”

“That’s crazy,” Carlson responded.

“So, I’ve had four members of Congress say, ‘I’ll talk to my AIPAC person’ — that’s literally what we call them, ‘my AIPAC guy,'” Massie said, laughing. “‘I’ll talk to my AIPAC guy and see if I can get them to, you know, dial those ads back.'”

“Why have I never heard this before?” Carlson said.

“It doesn’t benefit anybody,” Massie said, “why would they want to tell their constituents that they’ve basically got a buddy system with somebody who is representing a foreign country, it doesn’t benefit the congressmen for people to know that so they’re not going to tell you that.”

AntiDefamation League National Leadership Summit. … Since 2010, FBI employees have participated in more than 105 training sessions sponsored by the ADL on extremism, terrorism, and hate crimes, in 17 states and here in the District.

Basic Field Training Course

The Department of Justice released the Anti-Defamation League’s Basic Field Training Course (PDF). The course is mandatory for all FBI New Agent Trainees (NATs) and New Intelligence Analyst Trainees (NIATs). This release follows a decade of Freedom of Information Act requests and denials by the Department of Justice (PDF) and evasion by publicly funded content contributors.

The ADL course is developed and conducted by Anti-Defamation League (ADL) instructors. It selects materials from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) and Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial. Marcus Appelbaum, Museum Director of Law, Justice and Society Initiatives in 2014 resisted any public review of the curriculum, stating, “Unfortunately we do not randomly send out the curriculum.” Appelbaum also denied that any of the large amounts of U.S. taxpayer funding supporting the museum paid for the curriculum.

The ADL course facilitates a discussion of the USHMM video The Path to Nazi Genocide by asking trainees to watch and then consider “the challenges that police officers faced, and decisions they made in Germany during the Nazi era.” The video depicts the rise of Nazi Germany from WWI to the final WWII liberation of concentration camps replete with emaciated images of the dead and barely living.

The final question the video puts to agents in training is why the word “genocide” had to be coined in the aftermath. “As the world struggled to understand what had happened, a new word, genocide, w

Rabbis Against War with Iran: An Open Letter

We, the undersigned American Jewish clergy, are deeply concerned about reports thatPrime Minister Netanyahu will demand of President Obama, at their meeting at the White House today, that either the United States attack Iran, or else, Israel will...

Most of the people of the State of Israel oppose Prime Minister Netanyahu’s military threats against Iran. They fear the consequences of an attack on Iran. As Jewish leaders, we too believe that the path of wisdom towards achieving peace and stability in the region is through dialog and engagement and not through acts of war. We call on the United States government to safeguard the interests of the people of Israel and Iran…

‘Stop Vetoing Peace,’ Rabbis Tell Biden at UN Security Council Protest

….the latest high-profile demonstration demanding the United States end its opposition to a cease-fire in Gaza.

The rabbis—whose action was organized by Rabbis for Cease-fire, Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, Jewish Voice for Peace, and IfNotNow—displayed banners with messages for U.S. President Joe Biden: “Biden: The World Says Cease-Fire,” and “Biden: Stop Vetoing Peace.”

The protest came weeks after the U.S. alone vetoed a U.N. Security Council resolution calling for Israel to end its bombardment of Gaza, which has killed at least 23,210 people, injured more than 59,100, and left thousands more missing and feared dead under rubble, as the population of the enclave faces starvation and disease stemming from Israel’s blockade…

Funny how we hear about the idiots supporting HAMAS, but not the JEW CALLING FOR PEACE. 🤔

I am adding this video very late. It is about Israel and BLOOD Diamonds and it is nasty.
Israel and their American supporters are ‘rinsing the blood off’ @ 39 minutes to ~50 minutes the colonel talks of the Zionist Americans involved.

For what it’s worth, should be nothing. Remembers my time serving as the NCOIC of the 82nd’s Division Tactical Command Post. We used to conduct what are called War Fighter Exercises in which the the Division Main and the Division Tac used to war game with the Brigade Command posts and the map of choice for the scenario was always Iran. That was pre 9-11. We ran these same exercises each of the 3 to 4 years I had that position using maps from Iran.

Although I was not always tuned that well into exercise as I running internals the Commanders and lower operators used to come away with mixed feelings on how successful such a real operation would be given the losses depicted.

Thank you for your service!

I wonder though taking out nukes would there be radiation in the aftermath?
Poor Israel will be screwed no matter what they do.

I guess it is easier to live with an Iran that has nukes then take the nukes out. I mean what do I care I do not live in the middle east and am 80 so my life is almost at an end. 🤔

I owned one of these things when I was about 12 years old. Parents bought my brother and me one each. Then we bought a bag marbles to shoot. Far superior to the old Huck Finn/Dennis the Menace slingshots we’d been accustomed too.

One Sunday we drove out to see what was left of the Bonniville Paper factory after it burned down. It sat tucked down in a valley just off one of those winding country roads in New England.

Anyway, though it was at least 100-150 meters away, me and my brother found it easy to shoot out what windows remained of the burnt down factory using our marbles and the wrist rockets. I didn’t hear any objections at the time and we were soon back in the car heading to Friendlies for Ice Cream. I think that’s the last time I remember seeing the wrist rockets too. Alas.. 🙄

Y’know, Goliath might have a thing or two to say about handing out slingshots.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Was Goliath nailed by s slingshot or a sling? 1 Samuel 17:40 calls it a sling.

A sling is very different from a slingshot.

Michelangelo’s David portrayed a sling. You can walk behind the statue (which is very difficult to find photographs of) to see the rest of the sling.

PS: A slingshot is also called a catapult, although that’s probably at least as confusing as slingshot vs. sling, because the word catapult is also used for an artillery piece:

comment image (King Uzziah equipped Jersualem with something along these lines.)

However it’s very similar to the handheld slingshot/catapult because both work from the release of something that’s under tension.

Last edited 10 days ago by SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA
cthulhu

As you surmise, Goliath was nailed with a strap sling instead of a y-frame elastic sling. But I have heard both “sling” and “slingshot” used for both types.

Back in the day, armies would have large numbers of slingers because they were the only type of projectile weapon where you’d pick up your ammunition off the ground.

Last edited 10 days ago by cthulhu
para59r

I think I mentioned this before, but armies going back well before Goliath’s time had battalions of Calvary, Charioteers, infantry, archers as well as slingers.

I got a newsflash for you; a wrist-braced slingshot is not a toy.

If used correctly with skill, you could probably take out a deer. And a human could definitely lose an eye to a good shot.

_____________

I had a wrist-rocket when I was a kid.

If used correctly with skill, you could probably take out a deer. And a human could definitely lose an eye to a good shot.

____________

No doubt. A human could lose an eye to any type of sling shot. Or a BB gun (“you’ll shoot your eye out!” – A Christmas Story, 1983). Or a cork gun. Or a dart from a dart board.

Or a pocket knife.

Or a pen.

Or a pencil.

Or a scissors.

Or a screwdriver.

How is the D.A. trying to demonize a slingshot different than D-rats trying to demonize guns?

Do slingshots hurt anybody?

Or is it the person using it?

Wolf Moon

Handing out guns to rioters is fundamentally different from handing out guns to rooftop Koreans.

scott467

Right, but no one is claiming he had the slingshot at the riots, it was among the stuff they found when they searched his house.

If it was my house, they would have found a lot more than a slingshot, before I lost everything in a tragic boating accident.

What was I even thinking, taking all that stuff with me on the boat?

I’ll never know.

Lessons learned the hard way.

I still have knives though. Cheap Ginsu stuff. Steak knives, carving knives, paring knives, even a really scary big serrated bread knife. And a wood block to store them in.

I could hit someone over the head with that wood block.

If I was arrested for being in a peaceful protest, and the policy occifers searched my house, at the press conference they could list Ginsu knives and a dangerous wood block among the potential weapons found in my home, which had absolutely nothing to do with my (mostly) peaceful protest.

Just like the slingshot I didn’t have with me and didn’t use at the (mostly) peaceful protest.

How do you know it wasn’t something like this, which is more “powerful” than those, in which case the word “powerful” would distinguish it from the others?

comment image

POWERFUL — Made by 6 rubber bands, the power is stronger than the other slingshots. Metal Body and Wrist Support Frame Design — The design makes the ejection base more stable. Steady handle and wrist support frame play a greater ejection intensity. Ergonomic design, made the grip handle is more comfortable and easy to use. REMOVABLE SMALL FLASHLINGHT DESIGN – –You can find all the targets in the night. Quickly and accurately hit the target. APPLICATION– Great for eye and attention training, entertainment, competition and hunting.

Last edited 10 days ago by TheseTruths
scott467

Suppose it had 12 rubber bands.

It’s still a slingshot.

If he used it in the commission of a crime, then charge him with the crime.

If he didn’t, then how is it any different from a 6-band slingshot, or a 1-band slingshot, or a hammer, or socks, or any other thing he owns and also didn’t use in the commission of a crime?

TheseTruths

You ridiculed his use of the term “powerful wrist-rocket style slingshot” and then proceeded to indicate that it was no different than what Dennis the Menace used.

I stated that the terminology could have indicated something different and more powerful than the slingshots you referenced.

Instead of addressing the point I referenced, you now bring up the straw man of “charge him with the crime,” when it has already been established that he has been charged.

The issue is with the description of the weapon. You can’t dig out of that hole by trying to make every slingshot equal.

This is a argument about the use of the word “powerful.” Wrist-rocket sling shots are powerful. If the DA had merely said “sling shot,” it would have seemed like a child’s weapon or a less lethal one, when in fact, at least one police officer has been killed with a wrist-rocket sling shot.

Last edited 10 days ago by TheseTruths
TheseTruths

Thanks for bringing that.

scott467

That may actually be Dennis the Menace’s slingshot in the photo.

It’s definitely not a wrist-rocket.

scott467

Agreed, but did the DA say any such thing?

If there had been boxes of them, clearly intended for distribution to the rioters, would he not have certainly said so?

scott467

I don’t think anyone is suggesting that a slingshot cannot be dangerous.

My point is that there was no legitimate point for the DA to mention (or seize) the slingshot at all, if it is not alleged that he used it at the riots.

What are they going to charge him with, lawful possession of a slingshot inside his home that is not alleged to have been used in the commission of any crime?

Wolf Moon

I disagree on the tactic of mentioning the slingshot, which I think is smart. This is evidence of not only “riot support”, but “riot participation”. They don’t have to get him for a significant charge on usage – just on conspiracy, which is already solid, IMO, but will be a slam dunk with the “riot gear” at home. The jury is going to send him if he doesn’t wise up.

They’re gonna get this guy to flip on his NGO masters who are the ones who need to be charged. He can go down like a mafia boy, who may get finished off in prison anyway, or he can talk about where the money for the shields came from.

scott467

“I disagree on the tactic of mentioning the slingshot, which I think is smart. This is evidence of not only “riot support”, but “riot participation”.”

______________

Okay, I have to go watch the video clip again, because I have no idea what owning a slingshot has to do with what he did at the riots, if no one alleges that he had the slingshot with him at the riots, and no one alleges that he used or distributed or did anything else with a slingshot at the scene of the crime.

This is where the video and forensics people – if they find something – are gonna make this dude squirm and come clean on the real crims!

scott467

You ridiculed his use of the term “powerful wrist-rocket style slingshot” and then proceeded to indicate that it was no different than what Dennis the Menace used.

_____________

My ridicule was for mentioning a slingshot at all, regardless of the perceived ‘power’.

Unless it is alleged that he used the slingshot at the riots, it is completely and totally irrelevant.

Like any other object in his home, that he also didn’t take to the riots.

I used the multiple Dennis the Menace images to demonstrate that a slingshot, regardless of how ‘powerful’ it is, is almost as American as hot dogs and apple pie.

It was practically a part of Dennis’ wardrobe since the comic debuted in newspapers in 1951.

The point being that anyone could have a slingshot in their house, and probably should, and there is nothing nefarious about it.

So why does the DA bring it up in a press conference, if it is not alleged that he used it or even had it in his possession, when he was at the riots?

What is the point, except to demonize an inanimate object, in the exact same way that Leftists try to demonize firearms — except now they are extending it to slingshots — even slingshots that are not alleged to have been used in the commission of any crime?!?

TheseTruths

Are you saying they should not have told the public what they found in the guy’s possession? That only a weapon used to commit the crime in question should be talked about?

scott467

Are you saying they should not have told the public what they found in the guy’s possession?

____________

Why mention it at all?

What is the point?

If it is not illegal to own, and no one alleges that he had it with him or used it at the riots?

WHY?

Why didn’t they mention steak knives, and baseball bats, and BB guns, and anything else that was lawfully owned but could potentially have been used as a weapon — even though no one even alleges that he had the dastardly slingshot at the (mostly) peaceful protest?

What about his Mom’s pantyhose? He could have strangled someone with that, or worn them for a mask.

Did they find any tweezers?

Do you have any idea how deadly a tweezers can be, in the hands of a trained professional?

How about shoe laces? Did they find any shoe laces at the home?

What about Liquid Draino? Do you have any idea how dangerous Liquid Draino can be, if the suspect had brought Liquid Draino to the protests, and put it in squirt guns, and shot officers in the eyes with it?

Not that anyone alleges he did any such thing, but if it was in his house, then he certainly could have.

And that’s the standard, isn’t it?

If anything was in his house, and it could potentially have been used as a weapon at the (mostly) peaceful protests, then the DA should bring it up at the press conference, right?

Wolf Moon

I’m a potential juror. If I hear about that wrist rocket and ammo, he’s going to jail for sure.

scott467

I’m a potential juror. If I hear about that wrist rocket and ammo, he’s going to jail for sure.

____________

Why?

There is no law against owning a wrist-rocket, or the ammo to use with it, and no one has alleged that he was in possession of the slingshot when he was at the (mostly) peaceful riots, or that the slingshot and ammo were used in the commission of any crime.

No one has alleged that the slingshot ever left his home.

So how can any fair-minded juror, who is sworn in to jury duty, convict someone for a crime, based on anything he has at home, which is legal to own, and which no one alleges that he had with him or used at the scene of the crime?

It doesn’t make sense.

It’s like finding a candlestick at Col. Mustard’s home, but no candlestick at Clue Mansion.

Lots of people have candlesticks at their home, and no one even alleges that Col. Mustard was in possession of a candlestick at Clue Mansion.

In fact, nobody was even injured with a candlestick at Clue Mansion, the victim was killed with a rope.

So why is the candlestick, found at Col. Mustard’s home, relevant to anything?

What does it have to do with the crime?

Back to the video, there is plenty of other evidence to convict Orellana with, based on actions taken at the riots.

What does a slingshot — or even a legally owned military surplus bazooka, for that matter — at his home, have to do with whatever crime he is charged with committing at the (mostly) peaceful riots?

Wolf Moon

I suspect that the evidence (see below RE true crime shows) will point to recent or current usage of the weapon.

I hear you that owning a slingshot is not a crime, but that’s not the point. No law against having a butcher knife after they find one’s ex full of matching wounds, either! 😂

And since there’s no law against it, let the world know – including the press!

The worst that can happen is that common sense might prevail in the minds of the public.

I’ve been watching a lot of “true crime” shows lately, and it’s absolutely fascinating. Those dots just want to be connected!

There is a kind of 2A purism which I avoid, that stands in denial of the obvious, to attain a kind of political correctness, but it ends up coming very close to lawfare morality, IMO.

That dude in question is very likely a rioter, and he’ll have his day in court to disprove it, if he can. As a juror, I want to hear his explanation for the presence, position, and purpose of his wrist rocket, with evidence to back it up. He can gain or lose credibility by his explanation.

Any guns which I may have (cough) 😂 have purposes and explanations, all true, and ready to be spoken in court.
And just as I do NOT have certain “gang-banger” configurations, very popular with criminals, that would bear explanation, others who have “rioter” weapons may need to do their explaining, too, should they be suspected of criminal activity.

scott467

I hear you that owning a slingshot is not a crime, but that’s not the point. No law against having a butcher knife after they find one’s ex full of matching wounds, either!

___________

Agreed, but to my knowledge, no one is even alleging that Orellana used a slingshot at the riots, or that anyone else did, either.

If there were reports of rioters using wrist-rocket slingshots at the riots, and using rocks and BB ammo in the slingshots, and they found a wrist-rocket slingshot and ammo at his home, then it would make perfect sense to seize those items as evidence, and try to prove that Orellana used them in the commission of a crime at the riots.

I’m just not aware that anyone is even alleging that slingshots were used, or alleging that any cops were hit with slingshots.

It is the seemingly wholly unrelated nature of the revelation that Orellana had a wrist-rocket slingshot at home that makes no sense to me.

Wolf Moon

OK, I agree that the weapon without context does sound disconnected, but filling in that connection (which could or maybe will come out at trial) isn’t media-savvy, and it’s not smart as far as getting a conviction. No reason to hand out details that can be used to try to get him off.

That will come soon enough.

Also, letting the audience fill in the connections is very Trumpian, and I think there is some of that going on.

scott467

There is a kind of 2A purism which I avoid, that stands in denial of the obvious, to attain a kind of political correctness, but it ends up coming very close to lawfare morality, IMO.

___________

I am truly, honestly, not trying to deny the obvious.

AFAIK, no one — not the DA, not the police, not any of the other protesters besides Orelanna — has claimed that wrist-rocket slingshots were used by anyone at the riots.

Which is why I am so puzzled as to why the DA is making such a big deal of finding a wrist-rocket slingshot at Orellana’s home.

If there were people or cops who were pelted with BBs from slingshots at the riots, then it would make perfect sense, upon discovering such a slingshot and ammo at Orellana’s home, to seize it as evidence.

Whether it makes sense to disclose it at the press conference is a different matter.

But absent any claims that wrist-rocket slingshots were used at the riots, I am at a genuine loss to understand how it is relevant that Orellana had a slingshot and ammo at his home.

Wolf Moon

Count on it – there will be overwhelming evidence of not only use of wrist rockets by rioters, but injuries and damage from them.

No need to fill that in how. Let the people out there do it.

His lawyers are going to be shaking their heads and begging him to make a deal – especially when the FBI connects some projectile that caused serious damage to the ones they found in his home.

scott467

Count on it – there will be overwhelming evidence of not only use of wrist rockets by rioters, but injuries and damage from them.

___________

Okay, then that changes everything.

I had not heard that the rioters were using slingshots.

If they were, then it makes sense why Orellana’s slingshot would be seized as evidence.

scott467

That dude in question is very likely a rioter, and he’ll have his day in court to disprove it, if he can.”

____________

I agree that he is likely a rioter, and there should be plenty of video evidence if he was rioting, in addition to the evidence that he passed out face shields.

I just don’t understand what having a wrist-rocket at home has to do with anything, if no one is alleging that he (or anyone else) was using slingshots at the riots.

If someone has alleged such use, or if there is video evidence of rioters using slingshots, then that changes everything.

The DA would still need to prove that Orellana had his slingshot at the riot and that he used it against police, but at least there would be a good reason to have seized it and maybe a reason to mention it to the public.

.

“As a juror, I want to hear his explanation for the presence, position, and purpose of his wrist rocket, with evidence to back it up. He can gain or lose credibility by his explanation.

____________

That would be perfectly reasonable, if anyone is alleging that he had a slingshot at the riot or that he (or anyone else) was using such slingshots at the riots.

I am not aware that anyone has alleged any such use.

If no one has made any such allegations (not the police, not the DA), then Orellana’s possession of a slingshot, at his home, appears to be wholly unrelated to his actions at the riots.

Lots of people have wrist-rocket slingshots.

Lots of people went to the riots.

Some percentage of people who went to the riots also have wrist-rocket slingshots.

But if nobody brought wrist-rocket slingshots to the riots, and nobody (not the DA or the police) is even alleging that anyone used wrist-rocket slingshots at the riots, then I don’t understand how the discovery of Orellana’s legal possession of a wrist-rocket slingshot, at Orellana’s home, is relevant.

It could easily be for personal use, as a hobbyist, or to shoot squirrels that are doing damage to his house, etc.

As you say, if someone was stabbed with a butcher knife, and they find a bloody butcher knife at Orellana’s home, then obviously that would be important evidence.

But if nobody was stabbed with anything, and they find a clean (not bloody) butcher knife at Orellana’s home, then who cares?

I don’t see how it would be relevant.

Valerie Curren

Not to be argumentative but “he’ll have his day in court to disprove it, if he can” seems to contradict Innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt–but that guy sure appears to be guilty to me & it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that he has a pattern of participation w/ multiple types of anti-American activities.

But is he one of the slimy types that hypes up the crowds into frenzied, lawless behavior but then slips away, like I thought happened in various ways during the “Summer of Love”? 😡

Wolf Moon

In principle, it’s innocent until proven guilty. In practice, it’s innocent until the side that convinces the jury wins.

If you can’t convince the jury better than the prosecution, with a very low bar or “some reasonable doubt”, you’re going to jail.

So you are saying they should not tell the public what things they found in a perp’s possession.

scott467

So you are saying they should not tell the public what things they found in a perp’s possession.

____________

Why must you continually try to put words in my mouth, Wile E.?

Am I not expressing myself clearly enough?

By all means, lets have a list of everything found in the perp’s possession.

Every last thing he owns, whether it’s relevant to anything he did in the commission of the crime for which he is charged, or not.

Let’s have an inventory of all this man’s worldly possessions — because why not, amirite?

It makes perfect sense…

😂

TheseTruths

Am I not expressing myself clearly enough?

No, you are not.

I asked you a simple question. Instead of answering yes or no, you gave an answer that seems to indicate yes. So I am clarifying that, not putting words in your mouth.

And I still don’t have a direct answer to this question:

Are you saying they should not have told the public what they found in the guy’s possession?

scott467

I asked you a simple question.

____________

I have asked you lots of simple questions, and you don’t answer them 😂

Here is what you asked: “So you are saying they should not tell the public what things they found in a perp’s possession.

No, I did not say that. And I’m not saying it now.

I am asking what the purpose is for listing specific items found in his home which are:

A) perfectly legal to own

and

B) no one has alleged were used in the commission of any crime

If there was evidence, or if it was even alleged, that Orelanna used the slingshot and BBs in the commission of a crime at the (mostly) peaceful riots, then the DA would have every reason to mention them.

But if no one, including the DA, alleges that the slingshot and BBs were used in the commission of any crime, then why mention them at all?

(that’s another question, btw — and I don’t expect you will answer it, just like the others… 😁 )

TheseTruths

But if no one, including the DA, alleges that the slingshot and BBs were used in the commission of any crime, then why mention them at all?

This has been addressed by Wolf. It is also a common occurrence that I’ve seen many times. You would have to ask a law enforcement officer why they do things the way they do.

Wolf Moon

I would certainly mention that the cops found rioting gear. The guy is accused of conspiring to support riots, which may have included some participation.

One reason to NOT charge him now, for rioting participation using the slingshot, is to have more charges waiting in the wings, that don’t have to be brought if he cooperates.

However, that’s all legal tactical. There are many other reasons to make the public think “yeah, they got the guy”. More than that, it undercuts people who might fall for lying psyops that he didn’t do anything, and is being pursued unjustly.

Mumia. Remember that evil cop-killing toad? The guy almost had an entire army of brainwashed dopes supporting him. They really thought, or acted like they thought, that he didn’t do anything.

scott467

If the police are being hit with slingshots at the riots, which I was not aware of, then I agree 100% that finding a slingshot at Orellana’s home is at least potentially evidence, and would be seized.

If there is video of him using the wrist-rocket at the riot, then he’s cooked.

If there isn’t video of him using the wrist-rocket at the riots, or evidence that he even took it to the riots, then I’m not sure how he could be prosecuted for using it at the riots.

Lots of people have those wrist-rockets. Many people have had them since they were kids, and it’s probably at their parents’ house, in a closet or the basement or the garage.

Other people are hobbyists and use them currently, for sport.

So simply having one isn’t any kind of smoking slingshot.

But if there is evidence that he took it to the riots, or that he used it to shoot police at the riots, then of course he’s cooked, especially if they found and seized the slingshot and they have video of him using it.

scott467

“Are you saying they should not have told the public what they found in the guy’s possession?”

________

No, I am not saying that, you are saying that (again).

If I was saying that, I would have said it, and you would be able to quote it, and you wouldn’t have to ask the question.

What I am asking, repeatedly, is why did the DA mention those items, if the DA is not alleging that any of those items were used in the commission of a crime?

For example, is he trying to taint the jury pool?

Is he trying to convict Orellana in the court of public opinion?

Does he just have a slingshot fetish, and can’t help himself?

People on these very pages have expounded at extraordinary length why the white hats can’t tell us anything at all that is going on behind the scenes.

Wouldn’t want to put the prosecution’s case in jeopardy, don’tcha know.

Yet this DA is telling the public things which appear to be completely irrelevant to the actual crime.

Why would he do that?

Are you not even a little bit curious?

TheseTruths

What I am asking, repeatedly, is why did the DA mention those items, if the DA is not alleging that any of those items were used in the commission of a crime?

As I said in another comment, it happens all the time, to the extent that I don’t find it odd. You would have to ask law enforcement why they do that.

Wolf Moon

A wrist rocket is very relevant to modern rioting, as are masks, Pal-Pal kerchiefs (whatever they call the damn things), ball bearings, Molotov supplies, etc. And this is especially true based on WHERE these things were found – just like the butcher knife in the tool box or basement sink is likely to be of more interest than the ones in the kitchen, which are missing one, interestingly.

scott467

A wrist rocket is very relevant to modern rioting,

__________

I didn’t know that.

I haven’t seen any video of someone using wrist-rockets in the recent riots (or any riots that I can recall), and I am not aware of anyone (i.e., police) saying they were attacked with wrist-rocket or similar slingshots.

If they are being attacked with slingshots, that, as they say, changes everything.

Wolf Moon

Antifa is pretty notorious for using them, but the Palestinians have been using them for 40 years or more, and now that the Pal-pals have merged with the standard issue leftists in America, it’s really bad. After riots, they find ball bearings everywhere, and even at Trump rallies, they’re looking for people bringing ANY dense metal object into the venues, especially ball bearings.

The evil fake news tends to find Palestinian slings more photogenic than wrist rockets, because of the “David vs. Goliath” propaganda value, but the Paleo-stonians use both.

Valerie Curren

Thanks for this helpful context!

Instead of addressing the point I referenced, you now bring up the straw man of “charge him with the crime,” when it has already been established that he has been charged.

______________

It’s not a strawman 🙄

Has he been charged with any crime having to do with the slingshot?

Was he in possession of the slingshot at the (mostly) peaceful protest?

Did he use it at the (mostly) peaceful protest?

If he was and he did, then CHARGE HIM with whatever crime is related to using a slingshot, presumably to target police.

But if he wasn’t and he didn’t, then why is the DA mentioning the slingshot at all?

What does it have to do with anything?

TheseTruths

It is a strawman. You do it very frequently. When pressed on the very thing you initially said, you bring up something else to change the subject.

Wolf Moon

I think the lack of charges on using the slingshot (or whatever one wants to call it) is a valid point, but not an important one. It may be that they’re looking at video to find him using the slingshot right now – but it frankly doesn’t matter for now. They have him on conspiracy, and his lawyer will fight to exclude the wrist rocket, but if they find video of him using it, I think they (DOJ) can beat back that escape attempt, because it is highly relevant to conspiracy that he be intimately involved with the participants.

In any case, showing the public that they got a guy who was really connected to the rioters is a positive, IMO.

This is like showing that a guy who was involved in a gun-smuggling conspiracy actually had popularly smuggled guns in his house. Yeah, it’s legal to own them. But it’s still circumstantial evidence, and not, IMO, prejudicial to mention, because it can be defended easily if he’s innocent.

Dems will sputter and wave their hands that “everybody has a wrist rocket”, but that’s bullshit. We’re not idiots. We know this guy was a riot boy.

I see this prompt release of details as smart, and I see Kash and Barbie as doing exactly what Trump wants – nip things in the bud by media savvy. What they’re doing is showing prompt federal action – something that the Bidenoids never did, except in going after school board moms and people who had evidence against China. Well, those days are over. And if they release evidence to the public AHEAD of charges being filed related to that evidence – well DAYUM – that’s almost like returning policing to the way it was in the 60s and 70s, before the commies made law enforcement politically controlled and not answerable to the public. The cops used to release a LOT of information, while keeping some parts secret. They had a balance. It was smart.

I like this DOJ and FBI. They’re changing to something better. Let them do it!

TheseTruths

Good points. I’ve seen LE release inventory of what they’ve found in a person’s car or home many times. Sometimes they don’t because it would compromise the investigation, but sometimes they release it strategically, as in this case.

What is the point of listing all of the potential weapons found in his house, potential weapons that were all lawful to own and — critically — were not used or even in his possession at the (mostly) peaceful protest?

What is the relevance of finding a slingshot (powerful or otherwise) at the suspect’s home, and the DA making a special point to mention it in a press conference, if no one is alleging that the slingshot was illegal to own, or that it was used in the commission of any crime?

scott467

“Instead of addressing the point I referenced, you now bring up the straw man of “charge him with the crime,” when it has already been established that he has been charged.”

_______________

Let’s break it down, shall we?

I said “If he used it in the commission of a crime, then charge him with the crime.”

The “it” refers to the slingshot.

The “in the commission of a crime” is self explanatory.

The “then charge him with the crime” (not ‘a’ crime, but ‘the‘ crime) is a direct reference back to the ‘commission of a crime’, ‘if he used it‘ (i.e., the slingshot).

So putting it all together, “If he used the slingshot in the commission of a crime, then charge him with the crime of using a slingshot.”

There is no ‘straw man’ in any of that.

.

OTOH, if he did not commit any crime with the slingshot, if it is not even alleged that he was in possession of the slingshot at the (mostly) peaceful protest, and if it is not in any away illegal to own such a slingshot and have it inside one’s home, then why O why did the DA make a special point of mentioning it at the press conference?

The reason it was mentioned is clear from the video in the comment here.

scott467

The reason it was mentioned is clear from the video in the comment here.

____________

So no dispute with anything I actually said in my reply above.

As for the video, I just transcribed the video, here is the relevant portion:

………………………
“On June 9th, he drove his truck downtown with an unidentified woman, to hand out large quantities of face shields, to individuals who appeared to be engaged in violence and vandalism. He was not handing them out to peaceful protesters.

His actions were captured on video, posted on social media and observed by Los Angeles county Sheriff’s deputies.

These face shields are designed to protect from chemical splashes and flying debris, which helps protect violent agitators from less than lethal weapons deployed by law enforcement.”
………………………

If the use of the face shields was purely defensive in nature, then I’m not sure what law was broken, unless there is a law preventing people from giving away face shields.

Continuing:

……………………..
“When the FBI executed a search warrant at his home they found a powerful wrist-rocket style slingshot and ammunition for the slingshot including a bag of rocks and containers of metal BBs, a can of spray paint, plastic goggles, and a notebook with the words “1312”, “Blue Lives Matter”, “187”.

‘1312’ is an abbreviation for ‘All Cops are Bastards’, while ‘187’ is a common slang term for murder.”
……………………….

Is there any law against possessing any of those items?

If the slingshot is legal to own, then it certainly would be expected for any owner to also have something to shoot with it, including rocks and steel BBs.

Millions of people across America must have a slingshot in their house, including hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of wrist-rockets, which has been one of the most popular brands or styles of slingshots, for decades.

Spray paint is almost certainly legal, even in California. Same with plastic goggles.

And even in Cali, it is still legal to own a notebook, and it is not a violation of any law to write ‘1312’ or ‘187’ or ‘Blue Lives Matter’ in (or on) a notebook.

And to my knowledge, going by the publicly televised statement of the DA, no one has alleged that Orellana had any of the items mentioned above, found at his home, with him at the (mostly) peaceful riots.

So if:

1) the goggles, spray paint, notebook, BBs, rocks and slingshot are all legal to own, and

2) no one alleges Orellana had any of those items with him or used them at the (mostly) peaceful riots, then

3) what law did he break regarding the aforementioned items?

And if no law was broken by having those items in his home, then why did the DA seize them or mention them at the press conference?

What do those items have to do with the actual crime he is alleged to have committed at the (mostly) peaceful riots?

And why only mention those items, and not include any other potentially dangerous items he probably also has, which he also didn’t bring to the (mostly) peaceful riots, like baseball bats, baseballs, yard darts, dartboard darts, pocket knives, steak knives, razor blades, boomerangs, fireworks, gasoline, kerosene, various poisonous substances found in the cabinet under the kitchen sink in most homes, etc., etc., etc.?

“… while ‘187’ is a common slang term for murder.”

__________

It’s a term that came from the California penal code. I thought it was a police code for murder, like cops might use when communicating on their radios.

From Brave browser A.I. search assist:

……………………
The term “187” is commonly used as slang to refer to the act of murder. It originates from Section 187 of the California Penal Code, which defines murder as “the unlawful killing of a human being, or a fetus, with malice aforethought”.2 The number is often pronounced as “one-eight-seven” or “one-eighty-seven” rather than “one hundred eighty-seven”.
…………………..

TheseTruths

Slang when not used by law enforcement. Perps appropriated the term. It has been used here, but our use constitutes slang, not official use.

“Slang when not used by law enforcement.”

____________

I don’t recognize ‘special rights’ to use words or terms by one group and not another.

I also recognize the term from a movie titled “187” (1997) starring Samuel L. Jackson, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it.

Synopsis: “Fifteen months after being stabbed nine times by a student he taught in high school, Mr. Garfield is now working in LA as a substitute, come full-time teacher. He refuses to be a victim anymore.”

General Mills taking artificial colors out of its food

General Mills announced Tuesday it’s taking artificial colors out of its products, its second attempt to ditch the dyes.

The Golden Valley-based food company first tried with just some cereals in 2015 but eventually brought the original Trix ingredients back by popular demand two years later. This time, amid the broader “better-for-you” trend dominating the industry and government pressure, the change seems to be sweeping and for good.

The maker of Lucky Charms and Gushers will remove synthetic food dye from cereals and food sold in schools by next summer. The entire General Mills portfolio will be free of artificial colors by the end of 2027…

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said this spring the industry had “voluntarily agreed” to end the use of petroleum-derived FD&C colors like Red 40, Blue 1 and Yellow 5. The FDA also banned Red Dye No. 3 in January before advocating for the elimination of all artificial dyes in April.

But few large food companies had publicly revealed their plans until this week. Kraft Heinz, which makes brightly colored Jell-O and Kool-Aid, announced earlier Tuesday it will phase out artificial colors in the next two years…

Some companies are holding firm to their garish hues. The maker of Dum Dum suckers told Bloomberg the company expects to still be using synthetic food colorings come 2027.

Contrasting Leadership – President Trump vs President Macron – The Last Refuge

Contrasting Leadership – President Trump vs President Macron

June 17, 2025 | Sundance | 230 Comments

I post the direct statements from President Trump on the calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin because if you read the background, both before and after the Israel strike operation, you can clearly see the strategy. [Check Dates]

President Trump is doing what modern U.S officials never did, showing respect to the aligned nuclear powers and positioning any action for the least amount of geopolitical collateral damage. President Trump knows one of the key geopolitical influences upon Iran is the Russian Federation.

You do not have to be pro or anti-Trump to understand how executive level respect and diplomacy works. This is why the leadership of the Russian Federation respect Trump (firm but thoughtful), even if they are in opposition to his positions.

Remember the statements yesterday in Canada, at the G7, specifically about the Russian sanctions. These statements above should be read with the context of before and after the strikes in Iran began; then overlay the statements yesterday about the sanctions. There is a very clear message conveyed.

President Trump does not want a targeted problem to escalate into a regional geopolitical conflict. So, he takes proactive and ongoing steps to ensure containment. This is the part that French President Macron (doofus) cannot intellectually conceptualize; hence, President Trump’s curt remarks.

Even before the Israeli operation against Iran began, President Trump draws safe proactive perimeters that all traditional agents of governmental influence can understand.

Like you, I completely do not want expanded conflict that could potentially draw the U.S. into something far more dangerous. However, I also don’t see that as a likely outcome. President Trump is in the support position to eliminate the threat of nuclear weapons from Iran; let him work without our dark imaginings injecting something that does not exist.

Don’t buy clicks and hype. Just focus on the prudent approach evidenced in the honest analysis of Trump’s considerations. He’s not shooting from the hip. If you understand this, if you can see this in Trump’s words and deeds, then contrast with Macron.

KANANASKIS, Alberta — French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday opposed bringing down the Iranian regime violently as he warned of potentially destabilizing effects across the Middle East.

“The biggest mistake today would be to try to do a regime change in Iran through military means because that would lead to chaos,” Macron told reporters on the last day of the G7 summit in Canada, warning that “no one can say what comes next.”

“We never support actions of regional de-stabilization,” he added.

Macron’s remarks come as fears snowball over the U.S. potentially joining Israel’s military campaign in Iran, which began late last week and has crippled Iranian nuclear sites and killed top regime officials.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Tuesday that U.S. President Donald Trump was indeed considering that option. On his way back to the U.S. yesterday evening, Trump said he wanted a “real end” to the conflict and that he was “not too much in a mood to negotiate.”

Macron mentioned forced regime changes carried out by the U.S. and NATO allies in Iraq and Libya as past mistakes that should not be repeated, given they had birthed subsequent deadly political instability. (read more)

As we watch how President Trump is navigating this, I can see a strong, thoughtful leadership position within the big picture.  A politician like Emmanuel Macron could never fathom calling an ‘adversary’ (Putin) to talk about a potential conflict with a positioned ally (Iran) of that adversary.

President Trump has taken that proactive action with Putin specifically to avoid the ‘expanded conflict’ outcome that is driving the fear wedge within MAGA. These conversations with Putin are EVIDENCE of Trump’s intent not to create collateral conflict, and it looks like Vladimir Putin understands him.

Aubergine

Someone needs to do a poll of specific actions against Iran. No one, except a few neocons, wants boots on the ground.

But what about a couple of well-placed bunkerbusters right up the tailpipe? If we could destroy the Deathstar in one shot forever?

They don’t ask that question, because they don’t want the answer. Polls are propaganda. I wish people would figure that out.

Wolf Moon

Agreed on all counts!

pgroup2

Of course Vlad understands DJT – he’s as politically skilled as DJT is.

These two men actually rule the world. The Deep State thinks it still runs things but that is no longer the case.

As DJT 2 progresses through his term, this will become more clear. The only question will be who will run as a DJT clone in 2028. DJT will be so popular by the summer of 2028 that anybody who can be trusted to be Trump’s Third Term will coast to victory.

Public opinion against Vlad will ‘magically’ change into appreciation for what the two men have achieved together.

  🤔

Macron told…
“We never support actions of regional de-stabilization,”” he also said for people to pay no attention to France’s words or actions regarding Ukraine & Russia/s

Wolf Moon

OMG – I also see something going on here.

Trump is getting in front of rogue, neocon, Cabal-linked CIA operations that want a deeper, wider, and longer-lasting conflict, preferably against Russia, too.

Customers are reporting widespread outages at Iran’s Bank Sepah. – via Iran Novin Party

Customers are reporting widespread outages at Iran’s Bank Sepah withdrawal stations. The terminals are out of money.

Many believe the Iranian Revolutionary Guard took the money and left nothing for the people.

Iran Novin Party reported: “There is a serious possibility that the bank is facing a liquidity crisis because the IRGC leaders have already withdrawn their assets and fled the country. The body of the system is now facing empty accounts and an uncertain future.”

The Middle East Forum reported:

Amid relentless Israeli strikes on Iranian military and government targets, a hacktivist group has taken down the main bank serving the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reportedly cutting off thousands of key regime operatives from access to their personal accounts.

The hacking group “Gonjeshke Darande,” or Predatory Sparrow, which has launched many previous cyberattacks, announced the operation against Bank Sepah on X, and Iranians from Tehran posted videos showing ATMs unable to serve customers.

“We, Gonjeshke Derande, have destroyed all data belonging to Bank Sepah in a cyber operation. Bank Sepah served as a financial arm for bypassing international sanctions and funding terrorism using the Iranian people’s accounts. It financed the regime’s proxy forces, missile programs, and military nuclear projects,” the post on X said.

Personally does not like that. How easy will it be to crash the US Stock and Banking Sector. They do a lot of talk about how they are sparing civilians in the war but this aint that. Escalating in this area of commerce should concern all. In this day in age, if one can do it the capabilities likely exist for others to do it as well and likely have always existed but for prohibitions via norms against such which the world at large followed. Now those prohibitions are broken. Not good IMO.

Finally! Judge dismisses suit against Trump administration by Teachers Union.
FTA
“The first several paragraphs of the Complaint are devoted to sensational rhetoric about the ‘transcendent value’ of academic freedom, and ‘the Trump administration’s’ effort to ‘control the thought’ of ‘faculty and students’ (though Plaintiffs do not purport to represent any students) by placing a ‘gun to the head’ of non-party Columbia University,” Vyskocil wrote.
She then went through the litany of bizarre counts against the Trump administration from the unions that did not describe any more than a tenuous relationship to the funding cuts at best. The unions even argued that the fact that they chose to spend money to oppose potential (yes, potential, not real) action from the Trump administration meant they had standing.
An organization “cannot spend its way into standing simply by expending money to gather information and advocate against the defendant’s action,” the judge wrote, quoting the Supreme Court.
Teachers unions, and universities for that matter, apparently believe they are entitled to federal funding and that any cut is a constitutional impossibility representing some kind of free speech violation. But as Vyskocil soberly pointed out in her second appeal to the fact that elections have consequences, the cuts are often made simply because the president — and the people who elected him — have priorities that differ from those of the unions and universities.
“Plaintiffs apparently fail to grasp that one possible inference from this state of affairs is that funding cuts were made and maintained not to punish speech but because, for example, it is not consistent with the priorities of the NIH under the current, democratically-elected President, to continue to fund Columbia’s research into the impact of climate change on the mental health of women in East Africa. … Declining to fund such research is not a First Amendment injury,” she wrote.
It does not appear that the unions will “grasp” that possibility, as both have stated they plan to appeal the decision, with AAUP stating that “The Trump administration’s threats and coercion at Columbia University are part of an authoritarian agenda that extends far beyond Columbia,” adding, “We will continue to fight back.”

patfrederick

we need MORE judges like this!

TheseTruths

Something else she said:

“Our democracy cannot very well function if individual judges issue extraordinary relief to every plaintiff who clamors to object to executive action,” U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil said in her ruling on Monday. “It is not the role of a district court judge to direct the policies of the Executive Branch first and ask questions later.”

Those are the words many observers of the ongoing judicial coup have wanted to hear from a federal judge since the first wave of injunctions from tyrannical district court judges started coming down early in the Trump administration’s tenure, blocking the president elected by the American people to do what they elected him to do.

EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE

Verse of the Day for Wednesday, June 18, 2025

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”

James 1:6 (KJV)

COMMENTARY FOR JAMES 1

“This epistle of James is one of the most instructive writings in the New Testament. Being chiefly directed against particular errors at that time brought in among the Jewish Christians, it does not contain the same full doctrinal statements as the other epistles, but it presents an admirable summary of the practical duties of all believers. The leading truths of Christianity are set forth throughout; and on attentive consideration, it will be found entirely to agree with St. Paul’s statements concerning grace and justification, while it abounds with earnest exhortations to the patience of hope and obedience of faith and love, interspersed with warnings, reproofs, and encouragements, according to the characters addressed. The truths laid down are very serious, and necessary to be maintained; and the rules for practice ought to be observed in all times. In Christ there are no dead and sapless branches, faith is not an idle grace; wherever it is, it brings forth fruit in works. How to apply to God under troubles, and how to behave in prosperous and in adverse circumstances. (1-11) To look upon all evil as proceeding from ourselves, and all good from God. (12-18) The duty of watching against a rash temper, and of receiving the word of God with meekness. (19-21) And of living according thereto. (22-25) The difference between vain pretences and real religion. (26,27)

(1-11) Christianity teaches men to be joyful under troubles: such exercises are sent from God’s love; and trials in the way of duty will brighten our graces now, and our crown at last. Let us take care, in times of trial, that patience, and not passion, is set to work in us: whatever is said or done, let patience have the saying and doing of it. When the work of patience is complete, it will furnish all that is necessary for our Christian race and warfare. We should not pray so much for the removal of affliction, as for wisdom to make a right use of it.”

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

A TEST OF FAITH

The Bible says Faith cometh by hearing
Hearing by the Word of God is fearing
We must walk by Faith and thus not by sight
For by Grace thru Faith we are saved upright

Being justified by Faith we have peace
Thru Jesus, the Savior, our fear will cease
Not of ourselves Faith is a Gift of God
As long as our belief is strong not flawed

Faith cannot stand alone for without works
Faith benefits not if one’s works he shirks
We are helpers of our joy by Faith we stand
With the Spirit of God in our hearts manned

It’s easy to say you have Faith until
You are tested without Faith you stand still
How many times has Jesus said to they
Your Faith has saved you now be on your way

What is it He saw lived inside of them
What power was there in His garment hem
How could He heal people from far afield
What strength within was He able to wield

The trying of your Faith worketh patience
Patience is derived thru obeisance
A Virtue by perseverance put in place
A Virtue thru practice becomes a Grace

What is it that becomes a Test of Faith
Where can we acquire a Gift of Grace
By keeping His commands and adhering
To the Word of God that we are hearing

FULLNESS OF FAITH

Throughout scripture, God sets His example;
Limitless – His love – is more than ample;
He is kind; He is good – He is faithful;
For His steadfast Spirit, we are grateful!

Blessed are they who rely on the Lord;
Blessed are they who abide by His Word;
Holy are they who trust only in Him;
Convicted through Faith – is proper and prim!

With Fidelity and Faithfulness – we
Are trusting and trustworthy as can be;
With holy fervor, we honor Our Lord;
Consistently Faithful His Love out-poured!

Through Jesus, we exude Faith, Hope, and Love;
Through His Spirit and exultation above;
Through fullness of Faith – we are relieved;
We have not seen and yet, we have believed!

A Fruit of the Spirit, Faithfulness is;
The art of believing in heavenly bliss;
The act of knowing – relying on hope;
The tug of strength when unable to cope!

In the fullness of Faith, we come alive;
With conviction and purpose, we will thrive;
With our trust in the Lord, we cannot go wrong;
In the Faith Filled Family where we belong!

China has sent transport planes to Iran after Israel launched attacks, The Telegraph reports.
A cargo plane took off from China on Friday, the day after Israel’s strike on Iran.
The next day, the second plane took off from the coastal city.
On Monday – another one, this time from Shanghai.
According to tracking data, each plane flew west through northern China, then crossed Kazakhstan, descended through Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan — and disappeared from radar as it approached Iran.
The flight plan listed Luxembourg as the final destination, but the aircraft apparently never approached European skies.
According to aviation experts, the Boeing 747s used are typically used to transport military equipment and weapons.

Welp, I probably don’t even need to tell you, but yet another “misinformation” conspiracy theory appears to be emerging into the fact-checkers “allowed” category. Yesterday, the UK Times ran a story breathlessly headlined, “Enemies could weaponise new weather technologies against UK.” I wonder how they can tell through the hazy smog of gaslighting?

comment image

Weather technologies? Wait. You mean … chemtrails? If you feel puzzled, because you’ve been assured many times by compliant corporate media that people who believe in weather manipulation are seditious kooks and social media trolls, think again.

“Ministers,” the Times explained, “are examining how technologies designed to combat global warming could be weaponised by hostile foreign powers.” Hahahaha! It’s two admissions in one! Let me translate: atmospheric global warming technologies are weather weapons.

They are fretting about so-called “solar radiation modification” (SRM), which is alleged to help “cool the earth” by “artificially” reflecting sunlight away from the Earth’s surface. The Simpsons tried to warn them back in 1995:

Ministers needn’t search very far for a suspect. The UK Independent fingered a potential culprit in April of this year:

What will those kooky scientists come up with next?

Late in the story, we discover that Aria, the British government’s own advanced research and invention agency (think DARPA), is pumping £57 million into funding for 21 projects, which include outdoor field trials into “brightening clouds” to reflect sunshine.

Alas, the Brits are not worrying about their own weather-weapons tests. “The government,” the Times soberly informed its readers, “is working to understand the risks associated with an independent or third-party actors carrying out so-called solar geoengineering.” Paging Bill Gates.

Lest you be tempted to think that they are talking about something besides chemtrails, think again. Oh, they don’t want to say it*,* of course, but there it was anyway, like your best frenemy popping up at a high school house party you were sure they didn’t know about:

comment image

The story’s expert, Dan Marks, an “energy security” researcher at the Royal Institute, drolly observed (cue British accent), “Almost every country is vulnerable to some type of extreme weather, so if you can make that weather better with the technology, you can likely make it worse by deploying the technology at the opposite time.” Now they tell us.

comment image

But beyond vague references to “independent actors,” the story never mentioned Gates at all, or any other deep-state-owned billionaire. The only possibilities referenced in the story were Elon Musk and the UK’s evergreen enemy: Russia. Putin!

It’s chemtrails, dummies! Mr. Marks wondered, “What if an Elon Musk or an activist group decided to do it, and decided to do it in the middle of the ocean?” As a highly informed C&C reader, you already know about the thousands of private aerosol testers that can be found in the FAA’s registration database— just in the U.S.

You aren’t the only Faraday-cage-capped lunatics concerned about chemtrails. “More than 560 academics,” the Times reported, “have signed an open letter calling for an international non-use agreement on solar geoengineering.” Read it for yourself.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for anyone to admit they’ve been lying about chemtrails for decades, and now they can’t hide it anymore. I really cannot understand how these media people can live with themselves. Which is worse? The chemtrail sprayers or the gaslighting media?

Perhaps it’s worth reading the last installment in that coffee and covid post as well, the 3 Rockets. Some credence is lent to the warrior peacnicks (Davis, McGreggor, Larry Johnson et al) there. If you’re not aware, news of the current conflict is heavily censored and the three rockets installment provides a fair example, though there are many more.

While a regime change in Iran is desirable, a similar regime change in Israel is also called for IMO. The last thing I’d want to see is Iran carved up and handed over to the Globalists which seems to be in the works. Handed back over to the Persians with no strings would be much better. Anyways, the war seems to still be continuing… odds favor heavily for Israel, though I strongly suspect their economic might is taking a severe beating and were going to be asked to bail them out when all is said and done.

Exclusive – Eric Trump on Trump Mobile: Phones Will Be Made in America, ‘Give us Six Months and it’s Going Be Pulled Off’
https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2025/06/17/exclusive-eric-trump-on-trump-mobile-phones-will-be-made-in-america-give-us-six-months-and-its-going-be-pulled-off/

TheseTruths

[Eric] Trump said, “It’s going to be pulled off. Give us six months and it’s going to be pulled off. It’ll be right here in America. … Our overall aspiration is to…make phones in America, by Americans, for Americans.”

He added that they want their call centers to be in the U.S.

That right there is enough to pique my interest. No more struggling with impossible-to-understand Indian accents in time zones across the globe 🌎 while trying to communicate nuanced issues.

I talked with a guy once and got a call back at about 9 p.m. the same day saying “Good morning. I’m following up…” It was morning where he was, not where I was. Not smart, and not good customer service. When I asked where he was, he said “That doesn’t matter.” (Customer service 101, you never tell the customer that their concerns don’t matter.) I asked if he was in India, and he hung up. On another occasion I asked two different women, one of whose speech I could only understand about every fifth word, where they were located. They both said Florida. No. way.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I remember decades ago, one with very good English actually, tell me he was from Sowthern California. Yes, he pronounced the first syllable like “sow.” Or like it was “south” not “southern” (which explains why he made that mistake).

Given the vast number of immigrants from Asia there, he may even have been telling the truth.

TheseTruths

Yes, it’s possible for some to be in the U.S., of course. The two I mentioned both hesitated before answering, as if they didn’t want to lie but had been cornered.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Yeah…they’re probably under strict instructions not to admit they’re a call center in India…as if it’s not obvious with an accent you can’t get through without an armor-piercing projectile.

There is actually a thing called “Indian English” by the way. (Apparently enough Indians speak it that it’s a recognized dialect of English, rather than just being a somewhat-poorly-learned second language.) One feature is the word lakh meaning 100,000 (borrowed from Hindi). Wolf posted a video one time that was done in Indian English (fairly good English actually), and that word popped out in the middle of a sentence like it was perfectly normal thing to be saying to English listeners

When Rome was still a Republic and both before and after the Punic wars, private business interests in Rome operated much of the subjugation of Spain as they grinded it under their boot. And grind is what they did. The stories, hard to find now, were horrific even by today’s standards. Susan Wise Bauer surfaces some of them in her multi book histories of the Ancient World and provides plenty of source material for further examination.

Growing up I often noted that most countries colonized by Spain were basket cases, especially in South and Central America. Same can be said for others but those by Spain seemed to stand out. I never really understood it except to blame Spain, however once I started to come across these stories it was apparent it was a learned response from the times they were under the boot of Roman private business interests. Rotten parent/child relationship thing with the child growing up to be like the parent IMO. Such wasn’t ignored in the Roman Senate, reforms were often undertaken but the business interests often won out and it was a long time before they were treated in a more civilized manner or was it the abuse and graph were better hidden? IDK.

TradeBait2

The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld a Tennessee law restricting gender transition care for minors, delivering a major blow to transgender rights.

The 6-3 ruling is likely to have a broad impact as 24 other states have already enacted laws similar to the one in Tennessee, which bars gender transition surgery, puberty blockers and hormone therapy for youth.

The court was divided on ideological lines, with the six conservatives in the majority and the three liberals in dissent.

Those laws now look set to survive similar legal challenges. The ruling does not affect states that do not have such bans, meaning care in those states will still be available.

The court in an opinion authored by Chief Justice John Roberts concluded that the Tennessee law does not constitute a form of sex discrimination that would violate the Constitution’s 14th Amendment.

“This case carries with it the weight of fierce scientific and policy debates about the safety, efficacy, and propriety of medical treatments in an evolving field,” Roberts wrote. “The voices in these debates raise sincere concerns; the implications for all are profound.”

“The Equal Protection Clause does not resolve these disagreements,” he added…

The case marks the most significant ruling on transgender rights since the court in 2020, to the surprise of many, ruled that federal employment protections extend to gender identity, as well as sexual orientation.

“A 2023 law in Montana, Senate Bill 99 (SB 99), aimed to prohibit gender-affirming care for minors, including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormone treatments, and surgical procedures.

However, this ban is currently blocked. In May 2025, a Montana district court judge ruled SB 99 unconstitutional, and transgender youth in Montana have regained access to gender-affirming care.”

Top FEMA Official Resigns as Trump Announces Plans to Phase Out Agency by Year-End

A major shake‑up at the Federal Emergency Management Agency has materialized as Jeremy Greenberg, head of the National Response Coordination Center, resigned last week—just as President Trump unveiled plans to “phase out” FEMA after the 2025 hurricane season, redirecting disaster‑recovery authority to states…

Greenberg confirmed his resignation to CBS News last week, though he declined to offer any further comment, referring all inquiries to FEMA. His last day is set for two weeks from now…

Greenberg’s exit follows an earlier ouster of FEMA’s acting director, Cameron Hamilton, who opposed dismantling the agency and was swiftly removed in May.

Now, with career staff exiting en masse—including 16 senior executives last month—the administration appears resolute in implementing its bold overhaul.

Trump is nothing if not resolute. 😅 Anyone who doesn’t know that by now…

Chicago suspends online portal allowing illegal immigrants to get IDs after ICE seeks data

The City of Chicago suspended its online application portal for its CityKey ID program, which provides identification cards to all Chicago residents, including illegal immigrants.

The decision came in response to a subpoena from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that sought personal information about noncitizen applicants, raising concerns among anti-ICE city officials that the federal agency could use the online portal for deportation efforts.

Anna Valencia, the Chicago City Clerk, announced the program’s suspension on Friday, June 13, according to local news Fox 32. Pressure to suspend the program reportedly came from pro-illegal immigrant activists, she said.

“We did hear, ‘Let’s pause the online platform temporarily as we take a pulse and evaluate what’s happening,” Valencia told the Chicago Tribune. “We’re going to assess what’s happening daily and where the climate is, and if we feel we are in a different place, we can easily turn the online platform back on, but we are not going anywhere.”

The municipal ID program was initially introduced in 2017 to circumvent the public records law and safeguard personal information by exclusively processing applications in person, as noted by the paper. In response to the illegal migration crisis, the city created an online portal to process applicants. These documents are not allowed to be destroyed under public records law, Fox 32 reported…

The city said it does not have to comply with ICE’s administrative subpoena; however, a legal battle could ensue if ICE returns with a court order. Chicago, a sanctuary city, has been on the Trump administration’s radar since the president entered the White House in January and has been sued by the Justice Department for its sanctuary policies that do not align with federal immigration laws.

EVENING PRAYERS

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.

Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.

As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.

Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Amen.

Evening Prayer For Future Guidance

Heavenly Father, as I lie down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would guard my sleeping and protect my mind from wandering thoughts and unnecessary planning. Teach me to wait for Your perfect timing and not to try to plan my future in my own strength.

Lord, I know that You have scheduled every day of my life. Help me to trust You in all things and rely on You to lead me along the straight path and guide me in the direction that You would have me to go.

Give me patience to wait for Your perfect timing, and may I not trust in my own abilities and scheming, but rather rest in Your love and trust my future into Your hands.

And so now Lord, I commit this night to you, asking that I would rest soundly and wake refreshed and strong to do Your bidding. This I ask in Jesus’ precious name,

Amen.

Prayer For Grace At The End Of The Day

Heavenly Father, as the day is drawing to its close I ask that Your continued love and presence be with me and with all that are Your children in Christ. Guard us through the long hours of darkness this night I pray, and keep us safe from all harm and dangers that may try to cross our threshold.

Give us, I pray, an untroubled night of rest and quietness of heart. May we be refreshed and renewed in body, soul and spirit as we rest our weary hearts in You through the hours of the night.

Lord, I pray that by Your great grace and mercy, You would grant us untroubled sleep so that we may rise up in the morning strong to do Your bidding. May we all rejoice for the dawn of a new day, knowing that Your mercies are new every morning. In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

WAYNE ROOT: God, Trump, MAGA and Israel. Why Tucker Carlson is Dead Wrong This Time
By Wayne Allyn Root

Let’s start with the philosophy of Ronald Reagan. My hero Reagan once said, “If you agree with me 70% of the time: We are Friends, not Enemies.”

So, Tucker Carlson (and others in MAGA), please stop saying that if President Trump disagrees with you on the one issue of Israel, “MAGA is over…and the Trump presidency is dead.” How hysterical, exaggerative and absurd.

This rhetoric is what threatens to break up MAGA. You are playing right into the hands of the radical left and the communist media – who want MAGA to break up over one disagreement.

Former judge and Fox News host Jeanine Pirro has been nominated to serve a full term as the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, according to Senate records.

Pirro currently serves in the role on an interim basis after being sworn in last month. Her nomination for a full four-year term has been referred to the Judiciary Committee for consideration, Senate records show.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said on Tuesday that he had met with Pirro, referring to her as President Donald Trump’s “nominee to be U.S. attorney for Washington DC.”

…Pirro had previously served as a district attorney for Westchester County in New York. She also was the first female judge elected to the Westchester County court, according to the Department of Justice…

Trump initially appointed Martin as acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia on Jan. 20 and nominated him for the full-term position. The nomination was withdrawn after Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) announced that he wouldn’t support Martin’s confirmation.

…Some Senate Democrats criticized Trump’s nomination of Pirro for the interim posting. Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), a ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said the move was an “unprecedented use” of the interim appointment authority.

“Naming yet another Interim U.S. Attorney for DC is an untested and unprecedented use of the interim appointment authority that is contrary to Congressional intent, undermines the Senate’s constitutional advice and consent role, and could subject the interim appointee’s actions to legal challenge,” Durbin stated on May 9.

He added that Senate Democrats “will be looking into” the decision.

So Trump appointed Ed Martin as acting U.S. attorney, but when his nomination was withdrawn and Trump needed a replacement, that was “contrary to Congressional intent”? There was supposed to be no acting U.S. attorney for D.C. after that, and Trump had to appoint someone to the position permanently? Am I missing something?

NEW: President Trump Approved Attack Plans For Iran but Withheld Order to See if Tehran will Abandon Nuclear Program: WSJ

President Trump on Tuesday night told aides that he approved attack plans for Iran but was holding off his final order to see if Tehran would agree to abandon its nuclear weapons program, according to The Wall Street Journal.

On Tuesday, Trump revealed the US now has control over Iran’s skies and seemingly called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender.”

President Trump left the G7 Summit in Canada early and returned to DC on Monday evening after telling everyone to evacuate Tehran.

The White House said President Trump left the G7 Summit after he had dinner with Heads of State.

On Tuesday President Trump prepared to meet with his National Security Council in the Situation Room to discuss whether to strike Iran or not.

Axios reported that Trump was seriously considering a strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

US officials told Axios that the US is focusing on Fordow Plant, a nuclear facility under a mountain and it would take a US-made bunker busting weapon to destroy the plant…

On Tuesday afternoon Trump said he knows where Iran’s Supreme Leader is hiding.

“We know exactly where the so-called “Supreme Leader” is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump said.

The Wall Street Journal, citing three people familiar, said on Tuesday night President Trump approved attack plans on Iran but withheld the final order.

On Wednesday, in remarks to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said he doesn’t want a fight with Iran but if they have a nuclear weapon, “you have to do what you have to do.”

The giant bunker buster bombs are incoming, but that is as far as it will go. That’s still my opinion.

Glad to see @SamsClub take action—removing more than 40 ingredients, including artificial colors and aspartame, from its private label brand Member’s Mark by the end of this year. I urge other companies to follow their lead. Together, we will Make America Healthy Again.

I’m glad to see this, but now that “everybody’s doing it,” it’s safe for companies to remove dyes, when any of them could have been a leader in this endeavor and could have assured they received positive publicity for it by advertising their commitment to health before RFKJ came along.

We’ve been watching Little House on the Prairie.

We just watched Season 8 Episode 20. There was an influenza outbreak at a gold field, and Doc Baker and Caroline went to save people. They took a large supply of a medicine the Doc explained to Caroline had been around for fifty years for another use, but was just as effective for influenza. The medicine was…

QUININE.

So as far back as 1982, the year I graduated high school, quinine was known to be a treatment for the flu virus.

Isn’t that interesting…

Wolf Moon

Wow. Interesting.

There’s an apostrophe out of place dammit, but oh well:

Actually, Israel was the Twelve Tribes [Hebrews]. Judah [Jews] was [and still is] one of the twelve tribes comprising Hebrews.

When God scattered the Northern Kingdom [Ten Lost Tribes] and wiped their memory of who they were, all of the Southern Kingdom [Judah tribe and Benjamin tribe] retained the knowledge that they were part of God’s Chosen Ones. Some from the tribe of Levi [priests] were also domiciled in the Southern Kingdom.

When Christ talked about finding and reclaiming His lost sheep, He was talking about the Ten Lost Tribes. When He said he would join them together [all the tribes of the two kingdoms], never again to be separated, He was talking about His Kingdom [yet to come for us] over which He would be King.

We need to be careful when reading and comprehending Scripture. Often what appears to be easy to grasp is actually quite nuanced and made of many layers.

Aubergine

I understand. I also know that Israel (the current nation) is where the Jews (current day) have congregated. I also know that there is a pretty high likelihood that there are members of the Lost Tribes who have found their way home, so to speak, and are also in Israel.

If you read into the verses that Jesus only came for the “lost sheep of Israel” then you and I have no place in Christianity, and that’s not true. I read that lesson as a test of faith. Jesus challenged the Canaanite woman as to the depth of her faith. She was willing to take whatever hope He would offer her (crumbs from the table). He ultimately gave her the full measure of what she needed. So it goes with us.

Even beyond all of that, believers are ALL the lost sheep of God, since the Fall. And those who would kill us for a false religion are anathema to me.

I’ve never liked her…I felt like she thought to highly of herself. Her only eye opening stuff was the vax stuff.

Get “dishonorably discharged” instead of following orders that they don’t like.
There’s no defending this.
It’s one thing to divide people online. It’s another to try and do this to our military.
I told you she was nuts. The mask is fully off.

She seems to be rabidly anti-Israel. I understand seeing faults and disagreeing with tactics, but she goes way beyond that.

I agree with Shawn. What she is saying is divisive.

Linda

She’s never been in the military, and doesn’t have a clue. If your commander in chief gives you a lawful order, you follow it. You take an oath when you join the military. If you are only going to follow that oath when you agree with the orders, then you lied. Plus, a dishonorable discharge just about guarantees you’re not going to get any kind of decent job in civilian life.

Candace is a loon. Full stop.
